His juvenile season was a slow burner, but he opened his account at the third time of asking with a 12-length demolition job at Galway in early September and then ran well twice in defeat at Pattern level.
With blinkers removed, he posted a winning effort on his seasonal bow over a mile, with this extra two furlongs seeming likely to suit given his comfortable all-the-way victory on that occasion.

perhaps cost himself victory at Doncaster last month but compensation awaits in the Lilley Plummer Risks City & Suburban Handicap.
The four-year-old was pretty consistent last season and he looked set for another fruitful campaign when beaten just a neck on his return at Chelmsford in mid-March.
Marco Botti then sent him to Town Moor and he looked set for victory when leading inside the final furlong, only to hang a little across the track and given he was beaten a neck again, that lost momentum could have been crucial.
The handicapper has raised him 2lb for that defeat, but Magico is clearly in excellent heart and ran well enough around this track when third as a juvenile.
Master Builder EP – 3.20
ended last season on a low note but that should not be held against him in the Weatherbys Global Stallions App Great Metropolitan Handicap.
Trained by David Menuisier, Master Builder won two of his seven outings in 2024 and placed on a further three occasions, with his September verdict at Haydock and a subsequent third place finish at York seeing him shoot up from a perch of
88 to a mark of 96 ahead of the November Handicap at Doncaster.
However, that appeared to be one start too many on the final day of the season, with Master Builder failing to show any spark at all as he trailed home in 18th place.
It is best to put a line through that run given he had been on the go from April to November.

Queen Of Thieves YA – 2.58
can make it third time lucky in the Weekend Winners On Sky Sports Racing Maiden Fillies’ Stakes at Yarmouth.
As a full sister to Cracksman expectations were always going to be high and she was very green on her sole juvenile start when beaten over six lengths at Doncaster.
Better was anticipated at Newbury earlier in the month when she was sent off joint favourite but came home third over 10 furlongs.
She appeared to lack the necessary pace on that occasion and given her pedigree, it makes perfect sense to see her pitched in over just short of a mile and a half here.
