Summary: L’AMIE LARISSA (4) won on the flat last October over 2800m at Compiegne and made a pleasing debut when fourth at the same track early last month on her hurdles debut. She is given the vote ahead of VILLA LOUISE (1), who made progress from her debut to be second on her last start at Senonnes over hurdles in mid-March. 67. FORT DINO – Unraced gelding by Doctor Dino, the dam was placed on the one run over hurdles. Has a choice pedigree and is one to keep an eye on in the betting exchanges
Summary: KIND OF MIX (1) could be the answer to this conditions hurdle. He has fluffed his lines on the last two outings, but is better than that. A third over hurdles at Compiegne last May was encouraging, and he can edge this over LIBRE ARBITRE (3), who was a pleasing third on debut over hurdles and not disgraced when seventh at Compiegne early last month. KASKAD NOE (5) ran well on debut to be fourth and can improve for that outing. FORT DINO (14) makes his debut and could be useful.

  83. MACK THE CHEMIST – Five unplaced runs so far, the latter over 4000m at Thurles (IRL) in a hurdle race on March 6th. Chase debut and is one to avoid
Summary: KIM ROQUE (13) can get off to a winning start on his chase debut. He is a useful performer over hurdles and was a decent winner at Auteuil in late November last year. CAPTAIN DU BERLAIS (10) won twice over fences in 2023 and will strip fitter for a run over hurdles in April at Compiegne. 99. MEME PAS KAP – Two unplaced efforts since a 4th over 3500m at Auteuil in handicap chase on November 30th. Consider
Summary: KEOPSE (7) won well on her debut over hurdles in early December at Pau and can improve for that outing. She should be ready after an absence and is preferred over APRES BRIDGET (3), who scored two starts ago at this track in July last year. She is also returning after a layoff. KARDA (15) has not been seen since a third at this track last May, and if fit, she can have a say in proceedings. BELISMA (2) is also worth considering, with experience on her side.

C1 – PRIX ANDRE CORMIER – 2650m (a1m1/2) – Class G Amateur Drivers Race – Harness – EUR € 6,000

  1. JENA JOSSELYN – Imposed over track and trip before finishing 10th of 14 in a 2650m Carpentras Class F 11 days ago. May just have found her niche in this category and is easy to like for the double
  2. HEROS DU REYNARD – 3rd of 11 to JENA JOSSELYN (1) in a Class G amateurs over course and distance, on re-entry, just under 3 weeks ago. Will have progressed for the run, excels at Hyeres, and looks a serious proposition
  3. GENESALIA – Left a good impression when 2nd of 12 in a 2050m amateurs Class G here 10 days ago. Handed a good spot behind the car and with form maintained can again finish close
  4. ISLA – Failed to confirm Cavaillon effort when 7th of 12 behind GENESALIA (3) in a 2050m amateurs Class G here 10 days ago. Barefoot this time but still no more than a minor place chance
  5. HARCADY – 4th of 12 in a 2675m Carpentras amateurs Class H 11 days ago. Races with hind shoes off this time and from the 5-spot will be competitive for a place cheque
  6. IVANHOE RENKA – 4th of 12 behind GENESALIA (3) in a 2050m amateurs Class G here 10 days ago. Goes barefoot again, this time with Sophie Blanchetière in the bike, and is not to be overlooked
  7. JANGO SMART – Competes in the amateur division for first time after running 7th of 14 in a 2650m Carpentras Class F on 20 April. Unlikely to spring any surprises but is no slouch on a good day and can get in on the action
  8. JERKO DES BUDENTS – Back in the amateur division after running 5th of 13 in a 2450m Castillones Class E 10 days ago. Showed a liking for the new category at Bordeaux 2.5 weeks ago and has a decent chance of lifting this
  9. IMPERATIF LA BORIE – Pulled-up in a 2650m Carpentras amateurs Class H late-March. Stays shod and can be confidently ruled out
  10. JUST STAY ENJOY – Last but one behind HARCADY (5) in a 3200m Oraison amateurs Class F early last month. Has form here but latest numbers do little to inspire confidence
  11. JOIE DU GUELIER – Last but one in a 3000m Marseille-Borely Class F last week and with shoes on has no possible chance
Summary: With victory under these conditions last month, JENA JOSSELYN (1) secured her first success in the amateur category and even though handed the 1-spot this time, she still looks capable of doubling her money. JERKO DES BUDENTS (8) is not ideally positioned either but he has been hard to knock over recent months and will be no pushover. HEROS DU REYNARD (2) ran 3rd to Nicolas Julien’s horse last time, boasts a fine amateur record at the venue, and can again finish close. Seldom disappointing here, HARCADY (5) is making decent progress, has been reconfigured, and looks good enough to challenge for a spot on the podium.

  13. MILOU DE CAZOULENE – Made up for Borely run when 2nd of 10 to MAASAI (5) in a 2525m Cavaillon Class E on 8 April. Has ground to make up but can still trot his way into the frame
  14. MAMBA DES DURIEZ – 4th of 7 in a 2200m Class D at Salon-de-Provence on 26 March. Will not be sent out at 72/1 this time but cannot be considered a priority either
  15. MADISON ATALANTE – 3rd of 12 in a 2850m Lyon-Parilly Class C 2.5 weeks ago. Not the luckiest that day but has a lot going for him here and Théo Briand can be confident of another big run
  16. MAASAI – Classy future prospect that dominated a 2525m Cavaillon Class E on 8 April. Has enormous potential and a realistic chance of pulling off the hat-trick
  17. MELLA DE NESLE – Has not been seen out since running 9th of 11 finishers, a place behind MISTER BARRA (1), in a 2925m Cagnes Class C in late-February and is not about to cause an upset
  18. MACUMBA DESBOIS – Placed twice here before losing her action in a 2525m Cavaillon Class E early last month. On better behaviour though, can get a look-in
Summary: The fastest qualifier in the field and unbeaten in 2 starts to date, MAASAI (5) stormed up at Cavaillon last time and looks a marginally better bet than stablemate MADISON ATALANTE (4) who is plainly close to his race. MILOU DE CAZOULENE (2) sprang quite the surprise when runner-up at Cavaillon and must be taken more seriously this time. MISTER BARRA (1) drops in category and looks best of the rest.

  20. LOUSTIC DU MIDI – 9th of 10 to LEONITO STAR (3) in a Class F over 2650m here on 12 April. Disappointing this year and has no possible chance
  21. LEONITO STAR – Comfortable winner of a Class F over 2650m here on 12 April. Is unbeaten at the venue and Junior Guelpa will be eager to continue the good run. Chance
  22. LOLA DU CHERISAY – Continued the good run of form when third of 12 in a 3000m Marseille-Borély Class F 2.5 weeks ago and while not a priority is still worth keeping an eye on
  23. L’AMIRAL D’EURVAD – Sanctioned in all 3 this year, most recently a 3000m Marseille-Borély Class C last week and, even with hind shoes off others still easier to trust
  24. LOZARI – Steps back up in category after running 2nd of 9 to LITTLE KING ELEVEN (7) in a 3200m Oraison Class E on 6 April, and is unlikely to influence the outcome
  25. LITTLE KING ELEVEN – Secured two of last three, most recently a 3200m Oraison Class E on 6 April. Returns to racing with front pads though and looks more a minor place prospect on this occasion
  26. LAMIE QUICK – Good class of filly making first appearance since finishing 10th of 14 in a 2550m Bordeaux Class D in late-December. Hails from a yard on fire and can make her Hyeres debut a winning one
  27. LOFTEUR – Returned to competition in excellent shape, most recently winning a 3000m Borely Class F 2.5 weeks ago. Takes on some better horses this time but should nonetheless finish thereabouts
  28. LOYAL FRIEND – Quality type that ran 5th of 11 on comeback in a 2525m Cavaillon Class E early last month. David Békaert in the bike this time and will have a good hand to play
  29. LISBETH – Tenacious 2nd of 12 in a 2050m Lyon-La Soie Class E on 10 March. Has taken her game up a notch this year and will be no easy touch if she takes to the Hyeres profile
  30. LADY DE GINAI – Got off the mark for 2025 when dominating a 2750m Toulouse Class E on 4 April. Comes here fresh and will be expected to contest the finish
Summary: A serious future prospect, LAMIE QUICK (8) may not have been seen out since just after Christmas but Yannick Henry runs her unshod-behind nevertheless and it would be no surprise to see her get straight back down to business. She will still feel the heat from the wonderfully-engaged LADY DE GINAI (12) who has turned a corner since starting to race barefoot, and LEONITO STAR (3) who is unbeaten in 2 starts here this year. Twice a winner before being sent for a rest, LOYAL FRIEND (10) pleased on re-entry and will be considerably more competitive this time.

  33. KERNEL DE NUIT – Showed his form when 2nd of 13 in a 2650m Carpentras Class F on 20 April. Steps up in category but enjoys a good spot in front and will be entrusted to David Bekaert
  34. KANSAS DE CASTELLE – 7th of 9 finishers, on return to competition, in a 2600m Nancy Class E late-March. Won 4 of 6 before his winter break and, if race-fit, can wrap this up
  35. KLEPPER DU LOIR – Hard to fault at present, most recently 4th in 16 April race of reference. Handed a good draw and although unlikely to win this can nevertheless make first 5
  36. KALYPSO MADRIK – Made it 2 in a row when victorious in a 2650m Paray-le-Monial claimer 3.5 weeks ago. Steps back up in category but with morale intact can play a part
  37. KABYLIE DES EDEL – 6th of 9 finishers behind KILL THE BLUES (1) in a 2300m Marseille-Borely Class F on 16 April. Has done little of note for some time but could yet pick up a minor place cheque
  38. KAWESAQUEL – 3rd of 13 behind KERNEL DE NUIT (3) in a 2650m Carpentras Class F on 20 April. Forced to start wide but has excellent barefoot credentials and looks competitively well-in
  39. KITKO TEJY – Good, consistent sort that ran 5th in race of reference but goes shod this time and will have other priorities
  40. KHAZAR DES CORVEES – 2nd at Oraison before running 5th of 14 in a 2650m Carpentras Class F 11 days ago. Handed a 2nd line draw though and with shoes on is best to pass over
  41. KAIROS DU GOUTIER – Below-par 8th of 9 finishers behind KILL THE BLUES (1) in a 2300m Marseille-Borely Class F on 16 April. On back line but returns to venue of last success and, if focused, can figure prominently
  42. KIF DE L’UNE – Disappointing in last 2, latterly 9th of 10 finishers behind KLEPPER DU LOIR (5) in a 2300m Marseille-Borely Class E on 21 March, and is unlikely to cause an upset
  43. KENAVO DU BOUILLON – Complicated type that was sanctioned on re-entry in a 2600m Cavaillon Class E on 23 March and is unlikely to shake things up
  44. KING DU VIVIER – Quality element making first appearance since faulting in a 2700m Vincennes Class D last June. Makes first appearance for new handler, races shod, and will need the run
Summary: As capable going left-handed as right-, KANSAS DE CASTELLE (4) will have come on for his Nancy return run and can wrap this up if Christophe Martens keeps him focused. He will nevertheless be wary of KILL THE BLUES (1) who put on quite the show in Marseille a fortnight ago, and the well-placed KERNEL DE NUIT (3) who recently encouraged at Carpentras. Reliability may not be his strong suit but KAIROS DU GOUTIER (11) won over course and distance in February and must not be underestimated.

  45. IL VILLAGGIO – 11th of 15 in a 3000m Marseille-Borely Class E on 21 March and in current condition will have nothing to contribute
  46. JOE TEJY – 6th of 12 in a 2650m Marseille-Vivaux Class E on 28 March. Left a good impression that day, takes a dip in category, and can open his Hyeres account at 3rd time of asking
  47. JAMAIQUE TURGOT – Won 2 in a row before losing her action in a 3000m Borely Class F last week. Handed a good draw and can finish close if Theo Briand keeps her focused
  48. ICARE BRILLOUARD – Won his 2nd of the season when securing a 2400m Beaumont Class G ten days ago. Lana Henry back in the bike and the draw will only work in her favour
  49. IDAYA SOMOLLI – Pleasant in last two, latterly 5th of 15 in a 2650m Carpentras Class H 11 days ago, and from the 5-spot can play a small part
  50. IGLON DAIRPET – Respectable 6th of 14 in a 2850m Lyon-Parilly Class F 2.5 weeks ago. Unlikely to play a leading role but has the wherewithal to make first 5
  51. HATOUT DE CONNEE – Failed to confirm late-March success when 9th of 15 behind IDAYA SOMOLLI (5) in a 2650m Carpentras Class H 11 days ago, and others easier to back
  52. HERMINE DU SABLIER – Steps back up in category after running 5th of 14 in a 2625m Paray-le-Monial Class H 10 days ago. Starts wide and chances limited
  53. JAGUAR DU BOCAGE – Back under harness after being sanctioned in a 2950m Toulouse monte Class F 3 weeks ago. Makes first start for new stable, with hind shoes back on, and will be worth monitoring
  54. HARDI FOSSAVIE – Disappointing 7th of 12 in a 2675m Carpentras amateurs Class H on 20 April and in this company has no possible chance
  55. HAPPY VENUS – Sanctioned in a 2400m Borely Class F last week. Has done nothing noteworthy for some time and will have few friends
  56. JEEK D’ACADIE – Made up for Nimes blip when 2nd of 14 in a 3000m Borely Class F a fortnight ago. Reliability not his strong suit, and breaks from back line, but can still figure prominently at the business end of the race
  57. JAZZ BLUE – Quickly sanctioned in a 2400m Borely Class E a fortnight back. Is confirmed here but the draw will do him no favours
  58. IBRA TEJY – 5th of 11 in a 2650m Carpentras Class H on 20 April. Reconfigured for the occasion but still has more to find
  59. JAVA DE LIGNY – 5th of 13 in a 2625m Agen Class F on 23 March. A tough nut to crack when barefoot and despite a tough draw, looks a player
Summary: A fine servant for the most part, JOE TEJY (2) raced better at Vivaux last time than the result would suggest; he is clearly in good shape and, if applied, will take all the beating. Leading the opposition, the well-positioned JAMAIQUE TURGOT (3) will be expected to bounce back from her Borely sanction, while the in-form ICARE BRILLOUARD (4) will endeavour to replicate his Beaumont performance. JAVA DE LIGNY (15) has pulled a tough number but is a very capable mare that won her only start at the venue.

  60. JIOSCO DE SAUZETTE – Surprisingly sanctioned in a 2750m Nines Class E last Sunday. Is plainly in fine shape but is being aimed too high this time
  61. IMPERIAL DE SUCE – Unraced since finishing 14th of 16 in a 2550m Beaumont Class F last December and will have nothing to offer
  62. JACKPOT MONEY – Encouraged at Oraison but finished last of 9 in a 2300m Borely Class F a fortnight ago and even from the front row will struggle to make his mark
  63. JERICO BADREC – Useful sort that was sanctioned in a 3000m Borely Class F 2.5 weeks ago. Form is not in doubt but seems to be taking on too much
  64. JOLI CHARMEUR – Sanctioned in a 3000m Marseille-Borely Class F on 13 April but has otherwise been hard to fault in 2025. Takes on some better horses this time but can nevertheless hold his own
  65. JALAPA – Ran 2nd at Vivaux but could manage only 6th of 12 behind JUST AN EAGLE (8) in a 3000m Borely Class F 2.5 weeks ago and is unlikely to spice things up
  66. ITYA DE BOSSENS – 2nd of 13 in a 3000m Marseille-Borély Class F last week. Is starting to make up for lost time and from the front row can play a prominent role
  67. JUST AN EAGLE – Made up for a pair of sanctions when 2nd of 12 in a 3000m Borely Class F 2.5 weeks ago. Enjoys a terrific entry and is unlikely to disappoint. First 5
  68. ICARE DECAST – Fine servant that finished 12th of 15 when preparing for this in a 2400m Beaumont-de-Lomagne amateurs Class F 10 days ago. By some margin the best horse here and will be expected to prove the point
  69. JET SET DU BELLAY – Useful mare stepping up in category after winning a 3200m Oraison Class F early last month. Hind shoes back on but still looks a decent place prospect
  70. JUVE D’HERIPRE – Last of 9 on re-entry in a 2650m Class E here 10 days ago. Has solid references at a superior level and looks main threat to ICARE DECAST (9)
  71. INNOCENT DU BOURG – Pleasantly surprising 5th of 10 in a 2650m Class F here late-March. Barefoot this time but the handicap will do him no favours
  72. HERMES SCOTT – 2nd to JET SET DU BELLAY (10) at Oraison before winning a 2850m Lyon-Parilly amateurs Class G 11 days ago. Incurs the penalty once more but can still finish in the mix
Summary: A remarkably-consistent trotter that won his only Hyeres start, ICARE DECAST (9) is back barefoot following his Beaumont conditioner and, even from the second line, can make this his own. Lana Henry will still be keeping a watchful eye on the hardy JUVE D’HERIPRE (11) who seldom lets the side down here when focused, and a reconfigured JET SET DU BELLAY (10) who debuts at the venue after imposing at Oraison. ITYA DE BOSSENS (7) got back in the game recently, starts in front, and Nicolas Mourot will be keen to confirm.

  73. GRANTCHESTER – Ran 2nd at Salon before coming 5th of 13, a place behind HAYASTAN DE ROSAN (6), in a 3200m Oraison Class A early last month. Takes a notable dip in category and even from the 1-spot could pleasantly surprise
  74. HAKA – 6th of 16 in a 3000m Borely Class F on 18 April. Has 2 races under his belt and from the 2-spot will be competitive for a spot in the mix
  75. FOND OF YOU – Unraced since being sanctioned in a 2725m Grenade Class F last November. Is barefoot for re-entry though, with Nicolas Ensch in the bike, and must be taken seriously
  76. INCROYABLE BLACK – 5th of 15 on re-entry in a 2750m Toulouse Class E 3 weeks ago. Will have progressed and should logically go closer this time
  77. IBIZA EVENING – 4th of 11 in a 2300m Marseille-Borely Class E on 16 April. Handed a good draw and, with application, can bag herself a place cheque
  78. HAYASTAN DE ROSAN – 4th of 13 in a 3200m Oraison Class A early last month. Will not be sent out at 29/1 this time but cannot be considered a priority either
  79. GEORGIO LE FOL – Sanctioned in last 2, most recently a Class E over track and trip 10 days ago, and others easier to trust
  80. HERMOSO – Unraced since finishing last of 11 in a 2850m Laval Class D mid-February. Reconfigured for the occasion but still not a concern
  81. IBROX PARK – 3rd of 15, a place behind FAKIR DE LARRE (10), in a Class F over course and distance on 12 April. Clearly at the top of his game and is in with a decent shout of turning the tables
  82. FAKIR DE LARRE – Beat IBROX PARK (9) on 12 April before winning a Class E over course and distance 9 days later and even from the back line is thoroughly capable of repeating
  83. GORLANDO LUDOIS – Last but one behind IBIZA EVENING (5) in a 2300m Marseille-Borely Class E on 16 April and has no possible chance
  84. IDAHO SPRINGS – Showed improvement when 6th of 11 behind IBIZA EVENING (5) in a 2300m Marseille-Borely Class E on 16 April but still needs to find more
Summary: Winner of 3 in a row before running 3rd here last month, IBROX PARK (9) finished just behind FAKIR DE LARRE (10) that day and Theo Briand will be eager to set the record straight. Significantly better-placed on the front line, INCROYABLE BLACK (4) gave a fine account of himself on comeback and will have come on for the race. Never easy to knock when focused, IBIZA EVENING (5) reassured at Borely a fortnight back and even though sporting modified shoeing, can still play a leading role.

  85. FILOU DE LA ROUVRE – Unseen since finishing 9th of 15 in a 3000m Chateaubriant Class D in early-February. Debuts for new trainer and, barefoot for the occasion, can apply the pressure on FOSTER WOOD (12)
  86. FUCHSIA PIERJI – Surprised somewhat when 5th of 18 in a 3000m Borely Class D a fortnight ago. On front row this time but is unlikely to repeat
  87. HOT SUMMER – Left a good impression when 3rd of 7 in a 3000m Salon monte Class D on 26 March. Imposed last time at the venue and from the front line will not be far off the mark
  88. FARMER KERYVON – Has done nothing but improve lately, most recently 5th of 12 in a 2325m Toulouse Class B 3 weeks ago. Not a priority but still has the wherewithal to pick up some prizemoney
  89. FAMEUX SAX – Handy element that ran 7th of 15 in a 3000m Salon Gr.3 on 26 March but shoes fitted this time and has no realistic chance
  90. EREGON DE JUPILLES – Back to the mainland after being sanctioned in a 3475m Biguglia Class D on 23 March and can expect to have few takers
  91. GOLD DU RABUTIN – Sprang a 67/1 surprise when 3rd of 14 in a 2850m Lyon-Parilly Class D 11 days ago. Appreciates Hyeres, receives a David Bekaert drive this time, and is not going to be far from the action
  92. INGRID TURGOT – Gave a good account to run 4th of 7 in a 2925m Cagnes monte Class C on 26 February. Is new to the venue but runs barefoot and with stride in check can play a prominent part
  93. GOODMAN TURGOT – Moderate sort starting for first time since finishing last of 9 in a Class B over course and distance last July and can be ruled out
  94. GOLIATH DU CAUX – Last of 11 behind FOSTER WOOD (12) on comeback in a 2525m Cavaillon Class B on 8 April. Enjoys a fine entry, is barefoot for the occasion, and looks competitive for a place in the frame
  95. FORBACH – 6th of 11 behind FOSTER WOOD (12) in a 2525m Cavaillon Class B on 8 April. Has references at a superior level but the extra 25m to travel will do him no favours
  96. FOSTER WOOD – Quality campaigner that ran 3rd of 11 in a 2525m Cavaillon Class B on 8 April. Not once out of the first 2 in 6 Hyeres starts and it will take a big performance to beat him
Summary: Solid 3rd at Cavaillon last month on just his second start of the year, FOSTER WOOD (12) returns to a track he adores and will be expected to run away with this. Christophe Martens will still be keeping a watchful eye on FILOU DE LA ROUVRE (1) who is 25m better off and barefoot for the first time since 2023, and GOLIATH DU CAUX (10) who is similarly unshod after a much-needed re-entry run. Very much at home here, HOT SUMMER (3) showed his condition under the saddle last time out and will be no soft touch.

HEAVEN CITY (6) looked good when scoring at Bordeaux-Le Bouscat, but the step up in trip and a 3kg penalty could pose challenges. CATCH THE STARS (8) wasn’t disgraced last time out and could be a danger if reproducing that effort. LONG KE WAN (10) ran well at Toulouse and might just be ready to end a long losing streak.
