Summary: AVENTINO (10) has a good racing weight and has been in solid form recently. He is given the vote following a strong effort at this track late last month, when third. PRINCE AUBOIS (3) poses a threat after breaking his maiden in a handicap from a wide draw over 1300m here on April 24th, though he is not ideally drawn in stall 16. - LIVING NELSON – Fourth in a Handicap at Marseille-Borely over 1700m on 2 May. Needs cover, and with luck in running can be competitive again
- KAPETANIOS – Finished 6th in a Handicap at Marseille-Borely over 1700m on 2 May. A penultimate start runner-up who deserves to be respected
- AQUILON – Finished 10th in a Handicap at Marseille-Borely over 1700m on 2 May. Others make more of an appeal in this line-up
- OLAF THE BIG ONE – Finished 9th in a Handicap at Marseille-Borely over 1700m on 2 May. Others are much preferred in this line-up
- VILLA ROYALE – Fifth in a Handicap at Marseille-Borely over 1700m on 2 May. Can play a minor role at best in this line-up
- BLUFF – Third in a Handicap at Marseille-Borely over 2000m on 4 April. In good form and should be involved in the finish again
- PERROU – Finished 6th in a Handicap at Chantilly over 1900m on 24 March. Capable of a surprise and is not out of it
Summary: POMELEO (4) flopped over the shorter distance of 1400m last time out. He is much better suited to this trip and can win this lucky last race. LIVING NELSON (5) is suited to the distance and has been in good form of late, so he deserves respect. BLUFF (10) is probably at his best on the PSF these days but can still get involved in the finish. KAPETANIOS (6) is better than his last run suggests and is another with claims.

C1 – PRIX DE L’HIPPODROME DE LA BRETONNIERE – 2600m (a1m1/2) – Class E Race – Harness – EUR € 23,000
- KALEO DE BANVILLE – Sanctioned in 27 April race of reference. Configured as he was at Graignes but still not a priority
- KOLBY DE CLARAFLOR – Reassuring 2nd of 14 in a 2725m Graignes Class F on 29 April. Is proven at the venue and from the 2-spot could well get a look-in
- KAISER GRIFF – Beautifully-bred type that ran 5th of 10 finishers in a 2650m Alencon Class D 2.5 weeks ago, his first start since October. Handed the plum draw and looks thoroughly capable of imposing
- KILLER DES CHAMPS – Won at Chartres before being sanctioned when competitive for a place 2.5 weeks ago in a 2650m Alencon Class D. Has pulled an excellent number and with stride in check can play a leading role
- KING BLACK DANOVER – Has not been seen out since running 5th of 14 in a 2875m Argentan Class A last November. Shod for re-entry though and others preferred
- KILLER SUN DRALIAM – Out of the picture in last 3, most recently sanctioned in a 2800m Cholet Class D on 21 April, and can be passed over
- KATSUKI – Sanctioned in both return runs, latterly a 2875m Class E here 10 days ago, and is unlikely to cause an upset
- KENDALL – 6th of 10 finishers, a place behind KAISER GRIFF (3), in a 2650m Alencon Class D 2.5 weeks ago. Forced to start wide but enjoys a terrific entry and must not be underestimated
- KIM BLUE – Has 2 runs under her belt, latterly last of 8 in a 2700m Pontivy Class F a fortnight back. Pulled a tough number and even though barefoot still has too much to find
- KORRIGAN SIBEY – Ran 2nd at Mauquenchy before coming 4th of 16 in a 2350m Angers Class E on 10 April. Eric Raffin reining and despite the draw still looks a serious player
- KASHMIRE TONIC – Failed to confirm Rambouillet success when sanctioned in a 2875m Class E here 10 days ago. Will appreciate the mobile start and will not be far from the action if he gets off on the right foot
- KERGRIST – Sanctioned in a 3125m Angers monte Class E on 10 April. Here for a change of scenery and can be ruled out
- KEZIO JOSSELYN – 3rd at Argentan before coming 4th of 13 in a 2400m Amiens Class E earlier in the month. Matthieu Abrivard in the bike and will not be far off the mark if he successfully navigates the start
- KERLAZ D’AVE – 6th of 14 in a 2800m Bernay Class E 2 weeks ago. Handed a unfavourable draw and current form does little to inspire confidence
- KAPELLA DRY – By no means beaten when sanctioned in a 2650m Alencon Class D 2.5 weeks ago. Not ideally-positioned on 2nd line but still has the wherewithal to finish close
- KALINA LOVE – Sanctioned when never dangerous in a 2875m Class E here 10 days ago. Pulled a bad number and has no possible chance
Summary: A useful and versatile trotter, KAISER GRIFF (3) left a good impression on his recent return to competition; he will have come on for the run and, reconfigured for his Meslay debut, breaks from the 3-spot and looks the one to beat. Less favourably-drawn but plainly in fine shape, KORRIGAN SIBEY (10) looks competitively well-in, as does the better-positioned KILLER DES CHAMPS (4) who reverts to a previous formula. KAPELLA DRY (15) may not be the easiest of horses to handle and has been handed a tough draw, but she sports a proven configuration and must not be underestimated.

C2 – PRIX DE LA FETE DE LA CHASSE MESLAY – 2600m (a1m1/2) – Class E Amateur Riders Race – Harness – EUR € 25,000 - HAMLET DE CALVI – Unseen since finishing 7th of 8 in a 2800m Pontchateau Class D in early-March. Barefoot for re-entry but still not easy to recommend
- ISTORIA MOON – Won at La Guerche-de-Bretagne before running 2nd of 13 finishers in a 3000m Senonnes-Pouancé Class F on 4 May. Has solid credentials on a hard surface and looks a decent first-5 chance
- HELIOS D’ANCLEMAX – 3rd of 14 in a 2800m Chartres Class F last week. Has placed in 2 of 4 here and the draw only enhances his already good prospects. Chance
- IPSOS DE BANVILLE – 6th of 14 when preparing for this in a 2575m Saint-Brieuc Class E a fortnight ago. Is unbeaten in 2 Meslay starts and from the 4-spot can keep that fact relevant
- IMPERIAL MARANDAIS – Got back in the game last week when 4th of 14, a place behind HELIOS D’ANCLEMAX (3), in a 2800m Chartres Class F. Enjoys a good spot behind the car and is expected to confirm
- IMPERIALE DU MONT – Comfortable winner of a 2750m Ecommoy Class G late last month, on just 2nd start back. Breaks in front and will be competitive for a spot on the podium
- HULK DU COQ – 9th of 13 finishers behind ISTORIA MOON (2) in a 3000m Senonnes-Pouancé Class F on 4 May. On front line but still no chance
- IRON MIJACK – Looked rather ordinary when 7th of 16 in a 2150m Enghien claimer a fortnight ago. Takes on a better lot this time and the draw will do him no favours
- HUNIQUE – 7th of 16 in a 2700m Class F at Le Croise-Laroche a month back. Has otherwise been in excellent shape and will be expected to play an active role
- IMPACT SPORT – 4th of 12 in a 2750m Elbeuf Class F a week ago. Has been acquitting himself well this term and although unlikely to win this should nevertheless give a competitive account
- JIVA – Useful on a good day but has not been seen since running 10th of 16 in a 2850m Vincennes Class E late-December and can be ruled out
- HARRYBEAU DE COUET – Disappointing in last 2 under harness, latterly sanctioned in a 2050m Agen Class F a month ago. Starts on 2nd line and will have little to contribute
- HURRICANE DREAM – Lacklustre in all 3 starts this term, most recently last but one behind ISTORIA MOON (2) in a 3000m Senonnes-Pouancé Class F on 4 May, and can be confidently passed over
- INTELLO D’ERABLE – Made up for Argentan sanction when 3rd of 15 in a 2800m Vire Class D last week. Not ideally-drawn, hind shoes back on, but is in sufficiently good form to play a small role
- HAHICHA GIRL – 11th of 15 to IMPERIALE DU MONT (6) in a 2750m Ecommoy Class G late last month, on first start for 2 year, and will need another outing
- IMAGE D’HERFRAIE – 9th of 11 finishers in a 2725m Graignes Class F on 13 April and has nothing to contribute
Summary: Fitted with front pads for his first objective of the new year, IPSOS DE BANVILLE (4) returns to a track he adores and is easy to like for the win. He will however be pitted against the wonderfully-consistent and similarly well-placed HELIOS D’ANCLEMAX (3) who sports 4 pads for the first time, and the less favourably-drawn HUNIQUE (9) who is considerably better than his latest result would suggest. As honest as they come, IMPERIALE DU MONT (6) returned to winning ways last month and is not incapable of confirming.

C3 – PRIX DES COLOMBES – 2875m (a2m) – Class E Race – Harness – EUR € 23,000 - KARION SAINT BAR – Sanctioned in a 2650m Alencon Class F last Sunday. Is in decent shape but in this company will have nothing to offer
- KARTING BOY – 6th of 12, on first start since November, in a 2700m Machecoul Class F on 21 April. Has endured an interrupted career and would have better prospects at a lower level
- KRAC BRENUS – Surprise 3rd of 14 on re-entry in a 2900m Challans Class F 2.5 weeks ago. Goes barefoot this time but still no more than a minor place prospect
- KYOSHIRO – Sanctioned in a 2800m Rambouillet Class E on 4 May. Has not been seen at his best this term but with Eric Raffin in the bike can begin to make amends
- KALOU D’IROISE – Sanctioned in a 2800m Villedieu-les-Poëles Class F on 4 May. Has done nothing noteworthy for some time and is not about to shake things up
- KAPORAL CARISAIE – Tricky but talented sort that lost his action in a 3000m Senonnes-Pouancé Class H on 4 May. Sports a fresh configuration and it is just a question of time before he comes good again
- KNOCKANDO – Starts for first time since faulting in a 2175m Vincennes Class E in late-January. Is competitively-shod but would be preferred barefoot
- KALISCO PLANCHETTE – 2nd of 18, on return from a long layoff, in a 3000m Senonnes-Pouance Class H on 4 May. Steps back up in category but enjoys a front-row start this time and must be taken seriously
- KAISER GIBUS – Has not been seen out since finishing 10th of 13 in a 2925m Cagnes claimer on 23 December and can be confidently passed over
- KILIMANDJARO PLAYA – Quality element that ran 9th of 11 on comeback in a 2650m Bordeaux Class E in early-March. Unseen since and would be preferred unshod
- KILLER BOND – Handy trotter that was sanctioned on re-entry in a 2800m Rambouillet Class E on 20 April. Shoes on again and poses no danger
- KING DE GINAI – 8th of 14 in a 2450m Caen Class D 11 days ago, on 2nd start back. Boasts decent barefoot references and looks a serious proposition
- KANEM – Sanctioned in 4 May race of reference but left a good impression nevertheless. Alexis Collette in the bike this time and will have his chances if he keeps his charge trotting
- KAID DEL GREEN – 6th of 14, on return from a short rest, in a 2450m Caen Class D 11 days ago. Faces a less-arduous task here and can confirm his Amiens victory
- KYSKO DE FAEL – Quality element that was sanctioned on comeback in a 2625m Cherbourg Class E on 21 April. Shoes on again but is not one to be overlooked
- KANCALAIS – Did not enjoy the best of runs when last but one in a 2700m Vincennes Class D early last month. Comes here fresh and with Matthieu Abrivard reining will be afforded every chance
- KILLER MESLOIS – Useful type making first appearance since running 6th of 13 in a 2175m Vincennes Class D mid-December and will not be given a hard race
Summary: Winner at Amiens before being sent for a spell, KAID DEL GREEN (14) will have progressed for his re-entry run and can wrap this up if he takes to the new profile. Rested following a disappointing winter, KING DE GINAI (12) should be fit by now and the Alexandre Abrivard-factor cannot be ignored. KANEM (13) stays shod and has yet to prove himself right-handed but still warrants respect. KANCALAIS (16) takes a dip in category, enjoys an excellent entry, and even though shod, still looks a player.

C4 – PRIX DES BENEVOLES – 2875m (a2m) – Class F Race – Mounted – EUR € 26,000 - JASMINE DE LYONS – Pulled-up in a 2500m Monflanquin Class E on Sunday. Is no slouch when focused but still represents no more than a minor place prospect
- ISTRALANDE – 9th of 12 finishers in a 3200m Fougeres Class F 2 weeks ago. Yet to show last season’s form and best to keep one’s powder dry
- ISIS BLEUE – Sanctioned in a 2800m Bernay Class G 2 weeks ago. Has been off the boil since 2023 and can be confidently written off
- IRAFARA – Sanctioned in last 2, latterly a 2800m Bernay Class G 2 weeks ago. Can trot when focused but in this field will struggle to make her mark
- JUNON DE VRIE – Tricky sort that was sanctioned in a 2800m Cholet Class F on comeback 2.5 weeks ago and while not without merit nevertheless appears to have too much to do
- JOULE DE LA FYE – Back under the saddle after being sanctioned in a 2750m Ecommoy harness Class F last Sunday and in current shape will have nothing to offer
- JACK DRY – Good 3rd of 8 finishers in a 2800m Bernay Class G a fortnight back, on first start since last August. The run will have done him good and looks a respectable first-5 chance
- JALANSKI – Ran 3rd at Caen prior to coming 5th of 11 in a 2800m Cholet Class F late last month despite having faulted early. Reverts to a proven formula and from the front line must not be underestimated
- JOIE DE VIVRE – Rewarded with victory in a 2825m Cholet Class G a fortnight ago. Enjoys a terrific entry and Arthur Rebèche can be confident of of a competitive run
- JAG MAHCATH – Opened 2025 account when an easy winner of a 2875m Argentan Class F a month back. Excels with Mathieu Mottier and may well have this in the bag
- JUNIOR BERDIERE – Returns to racing right-handed after running 6th of 7 in a 2700m Vincennes Class B early last month. Comes here fresh and will be no pushover
- JOY FOR US – Got straight down to business after 2.5 months off, clinching victory in a 2875m Enghien Class E a fortnight ago. Alexandre Abrivard in the irons again and looks main threat to JAG MAHCATH (10)
- HESTIA GEDE – Has done nothing but improve this term, latterly 4th of 16 in a 2975m Jallais Class F 11 days ago. Pads fitted this time but is still worth retaining
Summary: Barring his Agen sanction early in the year, JAG MAHCATH (10) has been in cracking shape, won right-handed last time out and, barefoot this time, can repeat. Mathieu Mottier will still be wary of recent Enghien winner JOY FOR US (12) who, even though less competitively-shod, still looks a serious player, and JUNIOR BERDIERE (11) who drops in category and races barefoot for the occasion. JOIE DE VIVRE (9) has been hard to fault for some time and can challenge for a spot in the frame.

C5 – PRIX SEPAL – 2600m (a1m1/2) – Class E Race – Harness – EUR € 20,000 - L’ESPOIR DE KYRN – Sanctioned early on comeback in a 2200m Caen Class E on 26 April. Matthieu Abrivard at the helm this time and is not to be overlooked
- LE BOIS THIBAULT – Unraced since being sanctioned in a 2200m Salon-de Provence Class E last November and would be preferred in the claiming category
- LALICIO BELLO – Stayed on well to run 2nd of 13 in a 2800m Cholet Class F 2.5 weeks ago. Benefits from an excellent draw and Antoine Wiels will be determined to confirm
- LASCAR D’ENFER – Sanctioned on re-entry in a 3200m Fougeres Class F a fortnight back and is going to need another run
- LULU DES CARREAUX – Close 3rd of 13, a place behind LALICIO BELLO (3), in a 2800m Cholet Class F 2.5 weeks ago. Goes barefoot again and will be expected to finish close
- LEADER BOURBON – Took his game to another level when victorious in a 2825m Cordemais Class E on 20 April. Has yet to win for Eric Raffin but this seems the right moment. Claim
- LE VOLONTAIRE – Struggled earlier in the year but has started to come good, most recently 3rd of 13 in a 2575m Saint-Brieuc class E a fortnight ago, and will not be available at 58/1 this time
- LOST DES COUPERIES – Got straight down to business on re-entry, courageously securing a 2500m Reims Class F 3 weeks ago, and even though drawn wide is still very much in the picture
- L’AMIRAL DE GUEUDE – Modest type that finished last but one in a 2500m Class F at La Rochelle on Sunday. Barefoot this time but still backs up with no possible chance
- LEADER DU SAPHIR – Got off the mark at Vannes on 13 April before running 4th of 9 finishers in a 2700m Graignes Class F on 1 May. Unlikely to spring any surprises but runs barefoot and should hold his own
Summary: Winner at Chartres before repeating in better company at Cordemais last month, LEADER BOURBON (6) races clockwise for the first time this season and with Eric Raffin reining can secure the hat-trick. They will however meet opposition from the widely-drawn LOST DES COUPERIES (8) who also comes here on a 3-timer, and the better-placed LALICIO BELLO (3) who is plainly close to winning another. In the frame in his last 2, LULU DES CARREAUX (5) finished a place behind the latter that day and Mathieu Mottier gets the nod.

C6 – PRIX DU CREDIT MUTUEL – 2875m (a2m) – Class F Race – Harness – EUR € 17,500 - MAMBO BLANC – Qualified in 1’19″1 at Laval on 22 April but may find the going tough first time out
- MIGNON DE LASTELLE – Qualified in 1’20″5 at Grosbois last October and will need to show another side in order to compete here
- MADE IN JULMA – Sanctioned in all 3 starts to date but has evident ability and Matthieu Abrivard will be eager to put things right
- MADISON DE L’AUMOY – Pulled-up in a 2650m Alencon Class F 2.5 weeks ago, first time out, and others easier to support
- MIDWAY D’OYSE – Sanctioned in both starts so far, most recently a 2100m Cholet Class F 3.5 weeks ago, and can expect to have few takers
- MONTICELLO – 9th in both starts so far, latterly of 13 in a 2850m Laval Class F 3 weeks ago. Is better than his results would suggest and it is simply a question of time before he comes good
- MINUS DE CHENU – 3rd of 5 finishers in a 2625m Class F on debut at La Rochelle on 1 May. Faces a better lot this time and although unlikely to impose, can still challenge for a place in the frame
- MISTRAL DU REGENCY – Has not been seen out since finishing last of 6 in a 2850m Vincennes Class C last December and is no about to spice things up
- MAMBO DE CAHOT – Surprise 2nd of 14 on debut in a 2100m Cholet class F 3.5 weeks ago. Given the nature of his run will not be sent out at 106/1 this time and can even bring home the bacon
- MON BARTH – Ran 2nd at Angers first time out before being sanctioned in a 2350m Class F early last month, also at Angers. On good behaviour though can make amends
- MADMAX JEF – Debuted 3rd at Agen before coming 3rd of 8 in a 2600m Savenay Class G 11 days ago. Is close to his race and is not incapable of imposing this time
- MERMOZ – 3rd on debut before repeating in a 2400m Nort-sur-Erdre Class E a week ago. Eric Raffin gets the nod this time and will be expected to contest the finish
Summary: MAMBO DE CAHOT (9) did just enough in last autumn’s qualification but showed another side on last month’s debut and has a reasonable chance of losing his maiden status. That said, MERMOZ (12) has shown significant potential and will be partnered by Eric Raffin for the first time. Stablemate MADMAX JEF (11) has a similar profile and should logically figure prominently. Fastest qualifier in the field, MINUS DE CHENU (7) debuted decently earlier in the month and will have come on for the run.

C7 – PRIX FRANCE BLEU MAYENNE – 2600m (a1m1/2) – Class E Race – Harness – EUR € 20,000 - LINOTTE PAULO – Has shown improvement since starting to race barefoot, most recently 4th of 16 in a 3200m Fougeres Class F last week, and is unlikely to be far from the action
- LAQUILA WOOD – Sanctioned in a 2850m Laval Class E 3 weeks ago. Has evident ability but with shoes on is not about to shake things up
- LILI DU CHERISAY – A model of consistency but has not been seen out since running 3rd of 6 in a 2800m Chartres Class E last November and will need the race
- LIBERTINE D’ERABLE – Gave a fine account on 2nd start back, running 3rd of 12 in a 2700m Graignes Class E late last month, and from the 4-spot will have her chances
- LIANGA – Was on a fine run of form before being sanctioned in a 3200m Fougeres Class F 2 weeks ago. Can be excused that run and Valentin Testard will be keen to put things right
- LOVE ME BECO – Failed to confirm recent success when sanctioned in a 3100m Nort-sur-Erdre Class F a week ago. Is clearly in form though and will not be far off the mark if Maxime Bézier assures her initial strides
- LA DIVINE ECUS – Winner of last 2, latterly a 2675m Le Mont-Saint-Michel Class F 2.5 weeks ago, and is in with a realistic shout of making it 3 on the trot
- LUTECE PLANCHETTE – Honest filly that came 5th of 8 finishers in a 2400m Beaumont-de-Lomagne Class E late last month. Top driver in the bike and, despite the wide draw, will be no easy touch
- LUEUR MAJYC – Faulted on re-entry late-March in a 2450m Caen Class E. Sanctioned more often than not and others easier to back
- LILIONALLY – Last of 8, on return to competition, in a 2800m Rambouillet Class F on 4 May. Races first-time barefoot but still not easy to like
- LYRIC – 4th of 11 in a 2450m Caen monte Class E late-March. Here for reasons of conditioning and cannot be considered a player
- LEYLI DE LA VALLEE – Sprang something of a surprise when successful in a 3200m Fougeres Class F a fortnight back. A repeat seems improbable but sports modified shoeing and will have her supporters
Summary: Like a horse reborn this year, LA DIVINE ECUS (7) makes her Meslay debut on a hat-trick and with Matthieu Abrivard reining has every chance of pulling it off. She will nevertheless encounter resistance from the more widely-drawn LUTECE PLANCHETTE (8) who benefits from an Eric Raffin drive this time, and a reconfigured LIBERTINE D’ERABLE (4) who is ideally-positioned on the front line. LOVE ME BECO (6) faulted after imposing at Le Mont-Saint-Michel
and should not be too hastily judged.

- MUSIC BAULOISE – Has not been seen out since qualifying in 1’19″7 at Grosbois last September and others easier to like

- MAYENNE COMMAYENNE – Pleased on debut before faulting in a 2100m Cholet Class F on 21 April. Should take well to Meslay conditions and with stride in check will not be far off the mark
- MAESTRIA DE CHENU – 3rd of 7 finishers on debut in a 2800m Cholet Class F 2 weeks ago. Is not about to open her account but has the wherewithal to finish in the money
- MELINA BILOU – Encouraged at Bihorel-lès-Rouen before being sanctioned in a 2800m Villedieu-les-Poëles Class G early this month and is not about to spring a surprise
- MERRY DE MALABRY – Debuted nicely when 2nd of 12 in a 2150m Ranes Class G 3.5 weeks ago. Champion driver in the wagon this time and winning this is well within her capacity
- MISS BABY DU SURF – Qualified unremarkably and was sanctioned on debut a week ago, losing her action in a 2400m Nort-sur-Erdre Class E, and can be passed over
- MIRABELLA DU CEBE – Disappointed here before coming 2nd of 7 finishers in a 2975m Jallais Class G 11 days ago. Takes a notable step up in category though and chances appear limited

- MUSICA JULMA – Pleasant in first 2 starts before being sanctioned when well-supported in a 2850m Laval Class F on 18 April. Matthieu Abrivard in the bike this time and will afford her every chance
- MACARENA DE MARZY – 2nd of 12 in a 2700m Graignes Class F on debut 2 weeks ago. Is sure to have benefitted from the race and can again figure prominently
Summary: Untried they may be but both MA AM CHENU (1) and MELIA BARBES (2) qualified well here last season, have had time to come on, and one has as good a chance as the other of getting her nose in front. MERRY DE MALABRY (10) left a good impression on last month’s debut and with Eric Raffin reining, is unlikely to disappoint. MACARENA DE MARZY (15) may not have qualified until March but she caught the eye at Graignes a fortnight ago and must be respected.
