C1 – PRIX DE MALMAISON – 1000m (a5f) – TURF – Class 3 Race – Flat – EUR € 30,000

  1. AGIOTA – A winner on his debut at Tarbes over 1100m on 19 April. Looked good that day and can follow up in this line-up
  2. CATH HOCHE – Did not do much wrong on debut when scoring at Bordeaux-Le Bouscat over 1200m on 5 May. Quite capable of following up
  3. GO KEN GO – Finished 6th on his debut in a Conditions race at Saint-Cloud over 1200m on 19 May. Capable of improvement and could earn some minor money
  4. SHOW SET – Not disgraced when fourth on debut in a Conditions race at Chantilly over 1000m on 6 May. Can do even better this time
  5. ZENADIA – Finished fifth on debut in a Conditions race at Angers over 1200m on 20 May. Capable of improvement but others are preferred
  6. ELIMA – A two-year-old filly by Hello Youmzain out of Eldena. Full sister to Group 1 winner Ervedya and can score on debut
  7. SHIRI – A two-year-old filly by Mehmas out of Tiffilia who is making her debut. Maxine Guyon rides so must be respected in thsi line-up
    Summary: ELIMA (6) is a well-bred filly making her debut. She represents a very strong jockey-trainer combination and could score on debut. AGIOTA (1) won well on debut at Tarbes and will not go down without a fight. There was also nothing wrong with the victory of CATH HOCHE (2) at Bordeaux-Le Bouscat. The second string of Francis-Henri Graffard, SHIRI (7), also catches the eye as a possible winner.

  8. TRUE VALUE – Very unreliable but did win a handicap last time out at Saint-Cloud over 1400m on 13 May. Hard to trust but does win every now and then
  9. MURCIANO – Has been kept to the PSF for some time now and was 6th in handicap at Chantilly over 1400m on 13 March. Capable of better and has a winning chance
  10. PERTUSATO – Not reliable but was runner-up in a handicap at Bordeaux-Le Bouscat over this distance on 29 April. Can go one better this time
  11. ACCLAM – Did not show his best when 8th in a Conditions race at this course over 1400m on 11 May. Seems to prefer the PSF these days and others are preferred
  12. SERINES – Showed improvement when third in Class 3 at Saint-Cloud over 1600m on a May. Could play a minor role
  13. GRAN HABANO – Unreliable and did finish 6th in a Conditions race at this track over 1950m on 4 May. Did better in a handicap before that and has a place chance
  14. ASHIKTASH – In good form of late and was runner-up in a handicap at Lyon-Parilly over this distance on 8 May. Can get involved with the finish once again
  15. AL DAAYEN – Finished 6th in a Conditions race at this course over 1400m on 11 May. First time in a handicap and has a place chance
  16. BIG LOG – On a long losing run but showed vast improvement when fourth in a handicap at this track over 1400m on 11 May. Can do even better this time
  17. ROI DE L’AIR – Always gives of his best and was not disgraced when 5th in a handicap at Angers over this distance on 20 May. Can make the frame
  18. LUNALA – Did not show her best when 12th in a handicap at Chantilly over 1900m on 28 April. Better back on the turf and could play a minor role
  19. BOZZO – Has really struggled of late and was 14th in a handicap at Strasbourg over 2000m on 8 May. Needs major improvement to win
  20. NOCE D’OR – Has some fair form of late and was fourth in a handicap at Bordeaux-Le Bouscat over this distance on 29 April. Might play a minor role
  21. HARTWOOD MAN – Only modest of late and was 8th in a handicap at this track over 2000m on 11 May. Could be the surprise package of the race dropped in distance
    Summary: A very competitive-looking handicap. MURCIANO (2) has been running in better races of this type of late. They were on the PSF, though, and he will need to prove himself back on the grass. BIG LOG (9) showed vast improvement at this track earlier this month and could have more to offer. PERTUSATO (3) returned to form at Bordeaux-Le Bouscat and would not be a surprise winner. ROI DE L’AIR (10) is game and should run well under Maxime Guyon once again.

  23. GUILLERETTE – Finished 9th on her debut in a Conditions race at Chantilly over 1600m on 16 May. Capable of improvement but others are preferred
  24. BELLA VITA – Did not show her best when 13th in a Conditions race at Chantilly over 2000m on 28 April. Did better in her first two starts but others are preferred
  25. MIA MODENA – Showed some promise when third on debut in a Conditions race at this track over 2000m on 15 May. Has a place chance
  26. ALSABA – A runner-up in her last four starts, the latest in Class 2 over this course and distance on 30 April. Can go one better this time
  27. ANOTHER LIGHT – Finished fourth in a Conditions race at Chantilly over 2000m on debut. Capable of improvement and must be respected
  28. INTEGRETAS – Only found one better on the day when a runner-up in a Conditions race at Chantilly over 1900m on 4 March. Tries the turf but should contest the finish
  29. HEATHER FOR EVER – Has shown very little so far and was 8th in a claimer at Marseille-Borély over 1200m on 17 May. Needs major improvement to win
  30. AMPOLA – Ran well on debut when runner-up in a Conditions race at Saint-Cloud over 1600m on 1 May. Clearly not out of it
  31. GOLDILOCKS CEN – Not disgraced on her debut when 6th in a maiden race at Chantilly over 1600m on 16 May. Likely to improve and has a winning chance
  32. MON SEUL DESIR – A three-year-old filly by Zarak out of Almahroosa who is making her debut. Watch the betting
    Summary: A very interesting race where there are many with promising form. ALSABA (5) has a string of four runner-up performances in a row and truly deserves a winning turn. GOLDILOCKS CEN (10) was only sixth on debut but should do much better over this course and distance. INTEGRETAS (7) found a decent one to beat her on debut and would not be a surprise winner. AMPOLA (9) also put up a very pleasing debut and has a winning chance.

  34. SIR CRATER – Finished 14th in a handicap at Chantilly over 1200m on 6 May. Capable of better over this distance and could be a threat in this claimer
  35. DRUMROY GIRL – Did not run too badly when 5th in a handicap at this track over 1400m on 11 May. Performs well at this level and can contest the finish
  36. BALANGAN – Has not shown much in three starts and was 9th in a maiden at Compiègne over 1400m on 10 May. Capable of improvement but others are preferred
  37. SOLAS – All three wins have come on the PSF and she was only 5th in a claimer over this track and trip on 30 April. Capable of better and is not out of it
  38. SOLTAN GATSBY – Finished 6th in a Category A at Madrid over this distance on 3 November. Returns from a break but has won a claimer and must be respected
  39. ROYAL ENCLOSURE – Disappointing form of late and was 6th in a claimer over this course and distance on 30 April. Might only play a minor role
  40. MQS DU BERGER – Finished 7th on debut in a conditions race at Saint-Cloud over this distance on 1 May. Capable of improvement and could earn some prize money
  41. FAROAH – Has not shown much in two starts and was 9th in a conditions race at Compiègne over 2000m on 21 May. Capable of improvement but others are preferred
  42. MAYUMI – A three-year-old filly by Lawman out of Beauchamp Amber, making her debut. Watch the betting
    Summary: ELUSIVE BELARDO (1) is very consistent and was a good winner of a handicap at Marseille-Borély earlier this month. This does not look like a tougher race, and she should double up. DRUMROY GIRL (3) has done well at this level, but those runs were on the PSF. She would not be a surprise winner, though. SIR CRATER (2) has run in better races than this and could be a threat. SOLTAN GATSBY (6) returns from a break but has won in this division and is not out of it.

  44. IRTYCH – Disappointing form of late and was 6th in a handicap at Saint-Cloud over 2000m on 13 May. Capable of better and has a place chance
  45. HUMAN EVOLUTION – Yet to win a race but is in good form and was runner-up in a Class 4 at this track over 2000m on 7 May. Could break through for a win this time
  46. INSPIRADO – Yet to win a race but has held form and finished fourth in a handicap at Nancy over 2000m on 20 May. Should be there at the finish again
  47. PIOLI IS ON FIRE – Returned from a break in good form and was third in a Class 4 at this course over 2000m on 7 May. Fitter this time and has a winning chance
  48. ALICANTO – Has struggled of late and was tenth in a handicap at this track over 2400m on 7 May. Capable of better, but others are preferred
  49. SEABISCUIT DU RHEU – Has really struggled in two starts this year and was 12th in a handicap at Le Lion-d’Angers over 2000m on 6 May. Needs to improve significantly
  50. SEA GARDENS – Probably needed his only run of the year when 8th in a handicap at Saint-Cloud over 2400m on 16 March. Fitter now and capable of making the frame
  51. LHOMMAIZE – Has been kept to the PSF for some time and was 8th in a Class 4 at Chantilly over 1900m on 27 March. Better on the PSF, but may play a minor role
  52. CHASUBLE – Very unreliable and was tenth in a handicap at Chantilly over 1900m on 28 April. Capable of popping up in the places when in the right mood
  53. BEAUTIFOAL – Returned from a break and was runner-up in a Class 4 at Limoges over 2400m on 4 May. Can be in the mix again
    Summary: Another competitive race. HUMAN EVOLUTION (3) is threatening to win a race and has every chance of going one better after his last course performance. PIOLI IS ON FIRE (5) returned from a break and wasn’t far behind that rival last time out; he could be fitter this time and remains a lively danger. HONGUEMARE (1) ran well at Saint-Cloud and should be very competitive. INSPIRADO (4) is very consistent and will not go down without a challenge.

  56. SKYLIGHT BROCHARD – Disappointing recent form and was 12th in a handicap at this course over 1400m on 27 April. Better on the PSF but can make the frame
  57. DIVINE CHRISNAT – Remains in good form and was victorious in a handicap at Angers over this distance on 20 May. Carries a 2.50kg penalty for that win so others are preferred
  58. BAUHINIA RHAPSODY – Unreliable and was unplaced last time out in a handicap at this track over 1400m on 6 April. Needs to find a few lengths to win this race
  59. GREY TORNADO – Very unreliable and was 15th in a handicap at Fontainebleau over 1600m on 21 April. Has won over this course and distance and is not out of it
  60. GRAND SON OF CALYX – Very unreliable and was 14th in a handicap at Bordeaux-Le Bouscat over 1600m on 29 April. Capable of a surprise when wise
  61. VCTE DE JODELET – A winner of two of his last three starts, including a handicap at Bordeaux-Le Bouscat over this distance on 29 April. Carries a 3.5-kg penalty but is not out of it
  62. STANGHELI – Very unreliable and finished 8th in a handicap at Chantilly over 1900m on 28 April. Might pop up in a place when in the right mood
  63. MICHIGAN FIRE – Has really struggled of late and was 16th in a handicap at Saint-Cloud over 1600m on 25 March. Needs major improvement to win
  64. SOUVENIR D’ECAJEUL – Unreliable but did run well when third in a handicap at Bordeaux-Le Bouscat over this distance on 29 April. Can be competitive in this line-up

  69. PRINCE OF CLOUDS – Unreliable and was 12th in a handicap at Bordeaux-Le Bouscat over 1600m on 29 April. Capable of better and could play a minor role
    Summary: CONTENTIOUS SOUL (12) has not won since his debut, but he continues to run decent races in big handicaps and sets the standard for this race. CLAVUS (2) is returning to form and can contest the finish once again. VCTE DE JODELET (8) is improving and can carry a penalty to victory, so must be respected. SKYLIGHT BROCHARD (3) did his best work on the PSF last year but is now on a handicap mark he should be competitive off.

  72. PASAND – A winner in Germany of a maiden race at Berlin-Hoppegarten over this distance on 11 May. Could have more to offer and must be respected
  73. PURE LEGEND – Both wins were on the PSF; was 7th last time out in a Group 3 at Chantilly over 1800m on 6 May. Capable of better and has a winning chance
  74. THE WASP – Has yet to win a race and finished 9th in a Conditions race at Nancy over 1400m on 20 May. Needs major improvement to win
    Summary: A small field but an interesting contest. PURE LEGEND (4) has only won on the PSF and did not show his best at Chantilly earlier this month, but he can bounce back to beat these rivals. DREAMLINER (2) finished ahead of that rival on the day but was a bitter disappointment at Bordeaux-Le Bouscat. MON SCHATZI (1) showed improvement last time out and could try to make all the running.. PASAND (3) is improving but takes a steep rise in class.

  80. WALMA – Improving and was runner-up in a handicap at Châteaubriant over 1950m on 12 May. Can go one better over this longer distance

    Summary: VIENTO DE LEVANTE (5) showed good improvement when runner-up at Argentan and has been quick to try handicap company. She can go one better and take out this lucky last race. GWO KA (3) has been fair of late at Saint-Cloud and has already won a handicap, so must be respected. FIGHT TO FLY (8) appreciated the heavy track at Lyon-Parilly and could be a danger as well. LA BOBRIDE (2) is best judged on a good run in a handicap on her penultimate start.

  5. ILOA CONTI – Recent win over 4750m in a Class 4 cross-country at Senonnes on May 4th over 4750m. Player
  6. GENTLEMAN DE REVE – Unplaced last time over 6000m in a Class 1 cross-country at Lignieres on March 2nd. Might need a few to falter
  7. DARK WOOD – Two unplaced runs this year, the latter over 4600m at Haras-Du-Pin on April 13th in a Class 4 cross-country. Unlikely to be a threat
  8. FORTASTA – Credible 4th over 4600m at Cluny in a Class 4 cross-country on April 26th. Can make the frame
  9. KIARADAME – Four unplaced efforts this year, the most recent over 4700m at Compiegne in a Class 2 cross-country on May 7th. Opposable
    Summary: IVOIRE DE BALLON (3) impressed with a 2.5-length victory in a Class 4 cross-country race on May 4th, only his second attempt in this discipline. He is expected to progress further and is preferred over ILOA CONTI (5), who secured a win at Sennones earlier this month and is a solid contender. IN CAPRI (4) shaped well to be fourth at Strasbourg earlier this month and warrants respect. FORTASTA (8) is also worth a mention.

  16. DIAMOND’S SAGA – Two unplaced runs over hurdles, the latest over 3500m at Auteuil on October 13th in a Class 2 hurdle. Chase bow and has work to do
    Summary: LOVELY DINO (5) has been running in competitive hurdles in the last two runs. He was third before that in a Class 2 hurdle at Auteuil and looks like the type to make a good chaser. He can score from KINGSCLUB (4), who has performed well with three placed runs this year, the latest over fences, and he can make the selection work hard. COUTE QUE COUTE (3) has won over fences and warrants respect. LAFFITE (6) is another to consider on chasing debut.

  18. FONTANNES – Unplaced last time in September last year, 2nd before that over 4200m in a handicap chase at Vittel on July 25th. Might improve for this run after an absence
  19. KAPWOOD – Unplaced last time out, 4th before that over 4200m at Nancy in a Class 3 handicap chase on April 5th. Others rate more favourable
  20. JEANNE DE GUYE – Four unplaced efforts this year, the latter over 4400m in a Class 3 chase at Auteuil on May 18th. She looks unreliable
  21. KONFIANCE ALLEN – Fair effort when 6th in a Grade 3 chase at Compiegne on May 7th over 4100m last time. 2nd in a Listed chase in November and will find this more to her liking
  22. KASS TETE – 5th last time out over 4400m at Auteuil in a Class 1 chase on May 3rd. Capable of making an impact
  23. PERMAFROST – Two placed efforts this year, 3rd on the latest over 4100m at this track on April 19th in a Class 2 chase. Hard to rule out
  24. JEDUSOR – Failed to finish last time over 4500m in a Class 3 chase at Lignieres on March 1st. More expected this time
  25. BANDERO – Four unplaced runs of late, the latter over 4400m in a Listed chase at Auteuil on May 17th. Back in calmer waters but others preferred
  26. SKIPPIN COURT – 5th over 3800m at this track in a Class 3 hurdle on May 3rd on his last start. Might find a few too smart
    Summary: KONFIANCE ALLEN (5) will find this drop in class much more amenable and can return to the winner’s enclosure. She was a decent second in a Listed chase in November. KASS TETE (6) can be competitive, he ran a creditable race at Auteuil in a Class 1 chase when fifth earlier this month. GROOM BOY (1) is also worth considering and is the best option each way. JEDUSOR (8) can produce a better run than his latest start and is one to keep an eye on.

  28. SHOOTING – He won last time over 3400m at Nimes in a Class 4 hurdle on April 27th. He can make the frame at nice odds
  29. MR NOBODY – Ran well to be 3rd over 3300m at Bordeaux Le Bouscat on his second start in a Class 2 hurdle on May 5th. He has more progress ahead of him and can feature
  30. MARY SHELLEY – Unplaced on the last two runs, the latter over 3200m in a Class 4 hurdle at Compiegne on May 7th. Good 3rd on debut over hurdles and is one to consider
  31. MAGOT DES MOTTES – Unraced gelding by Gemix, the dam won 5 races over jumps. From a good stable that can ready a newcomer. Monitor the betting patterns for clues
  32. MAJUSCULE – Three unplaced runs, two on the flat and the latest over 3400m in a Class 4 hurdle at Niort on May 25th. Out again quickly and faces a stiff task

  79. KACI DU LUPIN – Unable to confirm Maure-de-Bretagne victory when sanctioned in a 2950m Le Mans Class E a week ago but on good behaviour can defy the handicap and win this
  80. KASSKOU CLEMAXELLE – Encouraging 6th of 15 in a 3100m Nort-sur-Erdre Class E 3 weeks ago. In the frame 50 percent of the time at Nantes and even though shod and starting on the back row, still looks a decent first-5 prospect
    Summary: Behind in earnings but clearly in excellent condition, KACI DU LUPIN (11) won her only start at the venue and even though on the back line should logically confirm, provided Antoine Wiels keeps him trotting. Very much at home here and patently in fine shape, KAOUITO DES GLENAN (3) is 25m better off and represents the main danger. KAID DU WALLON (6) may not be made of the same stuff but his Tours performance augurs well for his chances.     Summary: GENTILHOMME (3) scored in a Listed cross-country at Fontainebleau on his last start late in March, and he is seeking a hat-trick of wins. He can gain success under Felix De Giles. WAL CASSANDRE (6) has been placed at this track recently and should have no issues up in trip after a good third over 5200m last time out. MISS LAURA (14) won that day and can once again be on the premises. SHAWINIGAN (2) won this race in 2023 and is better than his two last runs.

  76. LADY GA – Has held her form and was fourth in a Group 3 at Moulins over this distance on 8 September. Returns from a break but has a winning chance if fit
  77. LAMBADA – Has improved with each start and was runner-up in a Conditions race at Nantes over this distance on 5 May. Can contest the finish again
  78. LADY DIVINE – Only fair so far and finished 5th in a Conditions race at Nantes over this distance on 5 May. Needs to do a bit more to win this race
  79. LORMA – Probably needed her only run of the year when 9th in a Conditions race over this track and trip on 20 April. Fitter now but others are preferred
  80. LANANA DE CHABA – Did not show her best when 8th in a Group 3 at Durtal over 2900m on 15 December. Likely to need this run returning from a break
  81. LUCYONTHESKY – Finished third on debut in a Conditions race at Cluny over 2450m on 26 April. Tougher task this time but might play a minor role
  82. LA ROCHELAISE – Has run well in both her starts and was runner-up last time out in a Conditions race over this course and distance on 20 April. Can go one better
    Summary: LIEIRA (3) is improving and was an easy winner over this track and trip last month. She can double up and take out this lucky last race. LADY GA (5) has some quality and cannot be dismissed easily, though she is returning from a lengthy break. LAMBADA (6) is improving and is fit and ready for another solid performance. LA ROCHELAISE (11) has run well in both starts but may need to do a bit more to beat those three rivals.
