Summary: WASACHOP (5) remains in very good shape and is suited by the distance. He can break a long losing run. RISKI CHOPE (3) was not far behind that rival last time out and is well drawn, so should be a serious challenger. IDAHO JAMES (1) was a good winner at Marseille-Borély and is quite capable of doubling up. VIRIMOON ETOILE (2) drops in distance and has been supplemented for the race, so must be respected.

SOIZIYA (11) is better than her last run suggests and can contest the finish, though she is also still looking for her first win. - MANDLEFT – Very consistent this year and finished fourth in a Conditions race at Vitteaux over this distance on 18 May. Could earn some minor money
Summary: A tough lucky last race. KABOOM (3) will attract most of the support as she is quite capable of going one better over a course and distance that clearly suits her. PANZER (10) is in good shape and ran well over this track and trip earlier this month, so will be a danger. AGOUREIL (2) doesn’t find it easy to win but is usually very competitive and clearly not out of it. LOVE THE STARS (6) may be better on the PSF but is another to consider.

- MILLESIME PIYA – Sanctioned in both to date, latterly a 2200m Vincennes Class D mid-April. Is plainly capable though and can play an active role if he takes to the new profile
- METEORA DE NILREM – Unexceptional 7th of 8 finishers in a 2225m Loudeac Class G on 27 April and is not about to shake things up
- MYSTIC PURPLE – Finished last of 7 on debut in a 2850m Laval Class E a month ago and looks to be out of his depth
- MAVANA DU DIGEON – 6th of 11 in a 2650m Alencon Class F on 11 May and in this category will need to find considerably more
- MADEMOISELLE JOLIE – 2nd of 13 to MILZANO DU BOSSU (13) in a 2300m Le Mans Class F 3 weeks ago. Has significant potential and is unlikely to be far from the action
- MOONWALK D’HERIPRE – Good 2nd on debut before faulting in a 2800m Cholet Class F on 13 May. Entrusted to a leading pilot here and can win this if he gets him off on the right foot
- MISTRAL DU REGENCY – Pleasant 4th of 11, on comeback 2 weeks ago, in a 2875m Meslay Class F. Will have come on for the race and is not incapable of making first 5
- MAGNIFIK BOSDARROS – Steps up in category after running 2nd of 10 in a 2325m Bernay claimer 10 days ago and will struggle to make her presence felt
- MIRANDA PAULOIS – Left a fine impression first time out, dominating a 2975m Jallais Class G on 4 May. On a hard surface this time but is a fine future prospect and looks a serious player
- MUSICA JULMA – Respectable 3rd of 10 finishers in a 2875m Meslay Class F a fortnight ago. Anthony Barrier in the bike this time and has a reasonable chance of getting a look-in
- MAESTRO DE FORGAN – Imposed at Orleans before finishing 6th of 8 in a 2800m Chartres Class E on 7 May and may find the going a bit tough once more
- MAJESTE DAB – Came good at Ecommoy 2.5 weeks ago, winning a 2750m Class F with consummate ease, and with stride in check can double her money
- MILZANO DU BOSSU – Sprang an 87/1 surprise when successful in a 2300m Le Mans Class F 3 weeks ago. Repeat seems unlikely but can still pick up another cheque
Summary: After posting 2 straight sanctions, MAJESTE DAB (12) then made good on her promise earlier in the month and a similar performance would see her competitive for a repeat. She will however be faced with MIRANDA PAULOIS (9) who left no doubt about her potential first time out, and MOONWALK D’HERIPRE (6) who will be partnered by Eric Raffin this time around. MADEMOISELLE JOLIE (5) left a good impression at Le Mans and with application can again figure prominently.

- JOKER DU LYS – Unsupported when sanctioned in a 2850m Laval Class E a fortnight back and will have few takers
- JONQUILLETE CREPIN – Pulled-up on re-entry in a 2600m Moulins Class F on 18 May. Never easy to gauge but with application can make first 5
- JEU DE MOTS – Made it 4 straight sanctions after faulting in a 2700m amateurs Class G at Le Croise-Laroche 2.5 weeks ago and can be ruled out
- JILIKA DU MESLE – Has not put a foot out of place in 5 starts this year, most recently 2nd of 14 in a 2725m Graignes Class E 3 weeks ago. Has won here when barefoot and can do so again
- JAZZ IN JEEP – 7th of 15 in a 2850m Maure Class F 2.5 weeks ago. Gave an excellent account last time here but in current shape looks no more than a minor place prospect
- JULEJACQ – Respectable but unthreatening 6th of 11 in a 2725m Graignes Class E a month back and is not about to defy his odds
- JULIANO DELTO – Imposed at Enghien before running 5th of 11 in a 2625m Cherbourg monte Class G on 21 April. Form is not in question and is unlikely to disappoint
- JOYEUX PURPLE – Failed to confirm Laval success when sanctioned in a 2825m Durtal Class F on 18 May. Is back on a hard surface though and can make amends
- JOLIKOVA D’ARIANE – Showed improvement when 5th of 10 finishers in a 2750m Ecommoy Class F 2.5 weeks ago. Fitted with front pads this time and Anthony Barrier will assure her a competitive drive
- JELENIA BELLA – 9th of 13 when being conditioned for this in a 2950m Le Mans Class D a week ago and considering the entry looks a major player
- JASON DU PERRON – Sanctioned on re-entry before easily winning a 2800m Cholet Class F on 1 May. Comes here fresh and completing the double is well within his capacity
- JOVIALE PRIOR – Ran 4th at Chartres before coming 6th of 8 in a 2700m Pontivy Class F on 4 May and will need to find more
Summary: Back in the winners’ enclosure earlier this month, JASON DU PERRON (12) has kicked off the new season in fine fashion and has every chance of opening his Nantes account. That said, JILIKA DU MESLE (5) has wasted no time this term, has previously imposed here, and is barefoot for the occasion. JELENIA BELLA (11) has a pair of conditioners under her belt, is barefoot for her first target of the year, and will be expected to finish close. As good in one code as the other, JULIANO DELTO (8) is back under harness with a good hand to play.

- LE BARON BEZILLAT – Lost his maiden tag in a 2800m Vire Class F 3 weeks ago, at 14th time of asking. Unlikely to repeat but enjoys a front-row break and is not to be overlooked
- LIEUTENANT COLUMBO – Starts for first time since being sanctioned in a 2200m Caen Class F on 3 March. Has merit but stays shod and can be passed over
- LUCKY LUMALO – 6th of 12 behind LOOK D’HERMES (6) in a 2875m Meslay-du-Maine Class D 3.5 weeks ago. Showed potential last year, is confirmed here, but may just be taking on too much
- LUCKY DE CALVI – Placed at La Rochelle before running 6th of 11 in a 2700m Vincennes Class D a fortnight back. In more reasonable company this time and going barefoot for the occasion could pleasantly surprise
- LOOK D’HERMES – Comfortably won at Cordemais before coming 3rd of 12 in a 2875m Meslay-du-Maine Class D 3.5 weeks ago. In less-exalted company this time and will be expected to contest the finish
- LAZURA PRIOR – 3rd of 10 in a 2875m Meslay-du-Maine Class D on 5 May. Has been acquitting herself well this year and even against the boys looks a respectable first-5 chance
- L’AMIRAL DIGEO – 2nd of 13 in a 2800m Bernay Class E on 1 May. Has turned a corner over recent weeks and with form maintained will be competitive for a spot on the podium
- LISA MONA BLUE – 5th of 10 behind LAZURA PRIOR (7) in a 2875m Meslay-du-Maine Class D on 5 May and has a lot more to find
- LUCKY JOSSELYN – Quality element but has not been seen out since running 11th of 13 in a 2700m Vincennes Class C last December and will need the race
- LUCIFER – Sanctioned on re-entry in a 2700m Class D at Le Croise-Laroche last week. Has a lot going for him here and could finally get that maiden monkey off his back
- LOOK MESLOIS – Capable but capricious type making first start since being sanctioned in a 2100m Vincennes Class B last October and will have nothing to contribute
Summary: A serious sort for the most part, LUCIFER (11) has yet to lose his maiden tag but is barefoot for the first time, with Eric Raffin in the bike, and could well have his day in the sun. Opposition will come from LOOK D’HERMES (6) who held his own in good company last time out, and L’AMIRAL DIGEO (8) who has been knocking at the door. The relatively inexperienced LOVE YOU PHYT’S (1) returned to winning ways at Le Mans and with a 25m head-start must be taken very seriously indeed.

- INSERT BOY – Debuts in the discipline after finishing 11th of 16 in a 2700m Meral amateurs harness Class G 2.5 weeks ago. Makes just 2nd start for new stable but still not a priority
- JEWEL OF SEBHA – Returns to the monte code after being sanctioned in a 2575m Saint-Brieuc Class F on 2 May. Is confirmed under these conditions and from the front row can play a prominent role
- INES DE MAJEAN – 2nd of 9 finishers in a 2825m Durtal Class H on 18 May. Has never failed to deliver when barefoot under the saddle and must be duly respected
- JOYEUX DES SOURCES – 5th of 16 in a 2825m Chartres harness Class E 3 weeks ago. Has little monte experience but always gives his best and should not be entirely overlooked
- JOKER DES BORDES – Sanctioned on re-entry in a 2825m Durtal Class E on 18 May. Not easy to handle but is proven here, is shod to preference, and on good behaviour can finish in the mix
- JAR BEN – 2nd of 8 finishers in a 2700m Graignes Class G on 1 May. Has been a model of consistency this term and can challenge for the win
- JASMINE DE LYONS – Out of the picture in all 5 starts this month, latterly sanctioned in a 2700m Graignes Class G last week and can be ruled out
- IRPIEU DE VARVILLE – Sanctioned in a 2975m Jallais Class H on 3 May. Has done nothing of note so far this year and has no possible chance
- HEROS OF JACK – Disappointing so far this season, latterly 7th of 16 in a 2975m Jallais Class F on 4 May, and will have few friends
- HEROS DE MARZY – 9th of 14 finishers, on return to competition in a 2975m Jallais Class H on 3 May, and can be ruled out
- IN CHENU – Sanctioned in a 2475m Niort Class E 11 days ago. Not the easiest of horses to handle but can trot when focused and despite the handicap can get a look-in
- HERMES DE L’ISAC – Back in a code he has shown no aptitude for after running 6th of 12 in a 3000m Senonnes-Pouancé harness amateurs Class H early-May and has no realistic chance
- ISATIS DES TOUCHES – Takes a notable step up in category after running 5th of 16 in a 2650m Alencon Class G 2.5 weeks ago but the handicap does nothing to improve his chances
- ISOLINA – Pleased at Cholet before being sanctioned in a 2825m Durtal Class H on 18 May and is unlikely to influence the outcome
- ISIS DU LEARD – Showed her form despite faulting in a 2800m Cholet Class For 13 May. Has a lot going for her here and with application can win this
Summary: Wonderfully-engaged at the limit of earnings and a tough nut to crack when focused, ISIS DU LEARD (16) can win this if Guillaume Martin keeps her trotting. 25m better off and presently close to his race, JAR BEN (7) looks the main threat, however JEWEL OF SEBHA (3) has shown potential in this branch of the business and should not disappoint. INES DE MAJEAN (4) has shown a different side when barefoot and looks a possible spoiler.

- KADENCE DU PERCHE – Sanctioned in last 3, latterly a 2800m Vire Class F 3 weeks ago. Debuts for new trainer, sporting a fresh formula, and can play a role if focused
- KOMETE DE VAL – 9th of 13, on re-entry, behind KELLY DE L’AUMOY (4) in a 2975m Jallais Class F on 4 May. Shod this time and can be disregarded
- KELLY DE L’AUMOY – Imposed at Blain-Bouvron-Le Gâvre prior to running 2nd of 16 in a 2975m Jallais Class F on 4 May. Takes on some better horses this time but is barefoot and should not be far from the action
- KASSIOPEE NANIE – Finished last of 7 on comeback in a 2800m Rambouillet Class E earlier in the month and can expect to have few friends in the markets
- KOUMBA DE LA NADE – Ran 2 at Cholet before faulting in a 2750m Ecommoy Class E on 11 May. Reliability not her strong suit but will have her supporters

- KOCARDE – Followed up a pair of sanctions with last of 9 in a 3150m Ranes Class F 11 days ago and can be confidently ruled out

- KIARA MAURICIENNE – 4th of 12 on comeback in a 2750m Ecommoy Class E on 20 April. Entrusted to Eric Raffin for the occasion and will be competitive at the business end of the race
- KALI DES LANDIERS – Ran an encouraging 4th of 8 finishers in a 2700m Graignes Class E last week. Is not about to shake things up from the back row but can nevertheless get a look-in
- KALEDA DE LA COUR – Sanctioned in a 2800m Rambouillet Class E on comeback early this month. Pleased here earlier in the year and with application can get in on the action once more
- KEVA LUDOISE – Met no opposition en route to victory in a 2800m Vichy Class E on 17 May. Races left-handed this time but still looks the horse to beat
- KOMREVEE DIESCHOOT – Returned to winning ways in a 2800m Tours Class F on 18 May. Not always the most dependable but with form maintained could well double up
Summary: Shod as she was when storming up in Vichy just 12 days ago, KEVA LUDOISE (13) is just as comfortable racing left-handed and Stephane Bourlier will have high expectations of a repeat performance. The main threat comes from recent Tours winner KOMREVEE DIESCHOOT (14) who benefits from a tremendous entry, and KIARA MAURICIENNE (10) who sports a new configuration following a convincing re-entry run. KELLY DE L’AUMOY (4) has enjoyed something of a renaissance since starting to race barefoot and the 25m head-start will do her prospects no disservice.

- KORO DE LA COUR – 8th of 12 in a 2750m Ecommoy Class E 2.5 weeks ago. Very disappointing all year and can be confidently disregarded
- KAOUITO DES GLENAN – Ran 3rd over course and distance before coming 4th of 14 in a 2625m Class E at La Rochelle 2.5 weeks ago. Eric Raffin reining this time and must be considered a contender
- KANDJAR RANAIS – 9th of 10 finishers in a 2825m Sablé-sur-Sarthe Class F last Sunday and is not about to take Nantes by storm
- KARL SPEED – Unraced since running 5th of 16 in a 2825m Cordemais Class F 2 months ago. Is shod to preference though and should be good enough to make the frame this time
- KAID DU WALLON – 3rd of 11 in a 2800m Tours Class F 11 days ago. Is unlikely to win this but should take well to the new profile and will unsurprisingly garner support
- KILLY D’IRATY – Modest individual that was sanctioned in a 2825m Sablé-sur-Sarthe Class F last Sunday and his formcard does nothing to inspire confidence
- KILEFAIT – Sanctioned almost as often as not, most recently a 2700m Graignes Class F 11 days ago. Is no star but can trot on a good day and will have his supporters
- KRAC BRENUS – Gave a good account at Challans before coming a lacklustre 7th of 14 in a 2875m Meslay-du-Maine Class E 2 weeks ago. Is not a priority but can still get a look-in
- KELROC – Unexceptional 9th of 14 behind KAOUITO DES GLENAN (3) in a 2625m Class E at La Rochelle 2.5 weeks ago. Enjoys a good entry but others still preferred
- KACI DU LUPIN – Unable to confirm Maure-de-Bretagne victory when sanctioned in a 2950m Le Mans Class E a week ago but on good behaviour can defy the handicap and win this
- KASSKOU CLEMAXELLE – Encouraging 6th of 15 in a 3100m Nort-sur-Erdre Class E 3 weeks ago. In the frame 50 percent of the time at Nantes and even though shod and starting on the back row, still looks a decent first-5 prospect
Summary: Behind in earnings but clearly in excellent condition, KACI DU LUPIN (11) won her only start at the venue and even though on the back line should logically confirm, provided Antoine Wiels keeps him trotting. Very much at home here and patently in fine shape, KAOUITO DES GLENAN (3) is 25m better off and represents the main danger. KAID DU WALLON (6) may not be made of the same stuff but his Tours performance augurs well for his chances. Runner-up in 2 of 3 Nantes starts, KARL SPEED (5) comes here fresh and is unlikely to let the side down.

- IL PLEUT BERGERE – Has done nothing but improve lately, most recently winning a 2500m Reims Class F 12 days ago. Consistently gives everything she has and makes her Nantes debut barefoot and with a good hand to play
- IDAHI DE HOUELLE – 6th of 12, on first start since December, in a 2200m Caen Class F on 10 May. Will have come on for the race and in this company looks a player
- IMPERIALE DU MONT – Came close to pulling off the double when close 2nd of 16 in a 2600m Meslay Class E mid-month. Is plainly at the top of her game and must be afforded significant respect
- IZZIE D’ERONVILLE – 4th of 14 in a 2575m Saint-Brieuc Class E on 2 May. Seldom disappoints in this category and will be expected to bring the fight to INDIANA D’ESPACE (13)
- INDIANA D’ESPACE – Ran 3rd of 16 on re-entry in a 3150m Abbeville Class E 2.5 weeks ago. Enjoys ideal conditions here and with Eric Raffin reining will be expected to win this
Summary: As dependable as they come, and entrusted to Eric Raffin, JILIKA DU MESLE (5) benefits from a superb entry after having made a convincing comeback and is easy to fancy for the win. She will still encounter resistance from the in-form IZZIE D’ERONVILLE (12) who ran 2nd last time here, and IMPERIALE DU MONT (11) who picked up in 2025 where she left off last season. IDAHI DE HOUELLE (10) did everything she needed to on her first start back and will be barefoot for her Nantes bow.

C8 – PRIX DEBORD DE LOIRE – 3000m (a2m) – Class D Race – Harness – EUR € 27,000 - JOKER DE MARZY – Faces first objective of new season after being sanctioned in a 2850m Laval Class E a fortnight ago. Hind shoes off, is confirmed here, and should not be underestimated
- JAKARTA MADRIK – Back under harness after faulting in a 3150m Ranes monte Class F 11 days ago. Has decent harness credentials and is unlikely to go home empty-handed
- JAGER BOUMBOUM – Steps back up in category after coming 4th of 16 in a 2700m Meral amateurs Class H 2.5 weeks ago. Unlikely to cause an upset but with hind shoes off should nevertheless hold his own
- ISCHIA – Ran 2nd here earlier in the year but has been a write-off since, latterly 7th of 11 in a 2600m Plestin-Les Grèves Class F on 18 May, and can be passed over
- JOB KERVILOU – 6th of 14 in a 2725m Graignes Class E 3 weeks ago. In better company this time and even racing barefoot looks little more than a minor place chance
- IDYLLE MIKA – 7th of 10 finishers in a 3000m Senonnes-Pouancé Class F on 4 May. Has looked very ordinary of late and will have few friends
- JUSTE UN DALY – Has 2 runs under his belt, latterly 8th of 12 finishers in a 2850m Laval Class E a fortnight back. Is unbeaten at Nantes but has not been as sharp for some time
- JASMINE DU MELEUC – Sanctioned in 4 of last 5, most recently a 3125m Monpazier Class H 3.5 weeks ago, and will have little to contribute
- JOUR JOYEUX – 6th of 9 finishers in a 3000m Neuillé-Pont-Pierre Class H late last month and will struggle to make his presence felt
- JAMAIQUE DE MONE – Unseen since coming 7th of 13 in a 2900m Challans Class F on 23 March. Stays shod for the occasion and will have nothing to offer
- JACKSON D’ECAJEUL – Sanctioned in a 2700m Meral Class H 2.5 weeks ago. Ideally-placed on front line and with application can make a big impact
- JOSEPHA CHOUP – Sports front pads for the first time after coming 4th of 13 in a 2950m Le Mans Class D a week ago. Incurs the penalty but still has a decent chance of finishing close
- JEUNESSE ETERNELLE – Ran 2nd at Vincennes before being sanctioned in a 2875m Enghien Class D last Saturday. Clearly one of the best horses here and on good behaviour can open her 2025 account
- JIMINY CRICKET – Good dual-discipline trotter making first appearance since winning a 2700m Vincennes monte Class D on 7 February. Shoes on and best to wait
- JACOMO DES BOTS – Classy campaigner that made it 2 in a row when comfortably winning a 2150m Argentan Class F 2.5 weeks ago. Champion driver in the bike and looks the horse to beat
- JAVELOT – Imposed at Meral before running 4th of 14 in a 2800m Rambouillet Class D on 11 May. Jacques Bruneau could not have asked for a better entry and Anthony Barrier will be keen to take advantage
Summary: Currently firing on all cylinders and well-entered here, JACOMO DES BOTS (15) comes to Nantes on a hat-trick and with Eric Raffin in the bike can pull it off. They can still expect to feel the heat from the complicated but talented JEUNESSE ETERNELLE (13) who has been reconfigured for the occasion, and the wonderfully-engaged JAVELOT (16) who has yet to disappoint here. JACKSON D’ECAJEUL (11) is never far from faulting but is just pennies from elimination and even with shoes on looks a player.
