  1. THE MIGHTY CELT – 5th last time when favourite, with a win before that over 3000m at this track over hurdles on March 15th. Can give a good account this time
  2. ITS NOW – Won on the last start over 3200m at Compiegne on April 22nd in a Class 3 hurdle. Ought to be on the premises
  3. TURENNE – Won last time over 3200m at Compiegne on May 7th in a Class 4 hurdle. Might find a few of too smart
  4. SHANNON MAESTRO – Facile win by 8L over 3000m on May 8th at this track over hurdles last time. Looks like a smart prospect
  5. MALIN DU MATHAN – Two 3rd placed runs, the latter over 3000m in a Listed hurdle on April 26th at this track. More progress to come
  6. VOL AU VENT – Won on his second start over 3200m in a Class 2 hurdle at Compiegne on May 14th. Needs more in a competitive race
  7. POPY – Fair 2nd over 3200m at Compiegne on May 14th in a Class 2 hurdle. Unlikely to trouble a few of these
  8. PANTHERE VERTE – Won on her debut over 3000m on May 8th in a Class 3 hurdle at this track. This will be more challenging
    Summary: There was a lot to like about the facile success of SHANNON MAESTRO (4) earlier this month in his second start over hurdles at this track. He looks useful and is preferred ahead of THE MIGHTY CELT (1), who fluffed his lines when well fancied last time. He won before that on debut at this track and can get back on track. MALIN DU MATHAN (5) has shown promise in both starts and can be involved. ITS NOW (2) won at Compiegne in April and has a good bit more to come.

    Summary: KIRAKINE (8) won over course and distance last time on April 10th and is given the vote ahead of POLO ET MARIE (2), who has performed well with two placed runs this year, the latest when he was second in a Grade 3 chase at Compiegne in April. MAGUELON (5) has made the frame on all three runs this year and looks like the best option each-way. LOLITA DES MOTTES (9) is another to respect and can have a say in proceedings.

    Summary: SHINCO DU FICHEAU (11) has been given some respite by the handicapper and came back to form with a decent third on his last start over this track late in April. He is capable of playing a lead role. KING OF FREEDOM (6) looks like a threat after a good fourth in a competitive Class 1 handicap hurdle at this track at the start of this month. ZINOA (5) could be one for the each-way backers to look at. WALKYRIA (9) heads the remainder.

    Summary: LARZAC DU MATHAN (1) fell on his latest start at this track on May 17th at this track over hurdles. he won at Dax last year in September, and with a clear round, he can win again. RAFFLES CIPRIANI (3) made a promising debut at Compiegne when fourth earlier this month and will improve for that run. LUREKA DU NOYER (5) shaped well on debut at Compiegne and is the each-way option. LIBRE ARBITRE (2) is also worth considering.

KISS KISS (3) was less than a length back in fourth in the same race last time and looks like the main threat. HURRICK DES OBEAUX (1) was fifth in the same race and has a few lengths to find and is worth considering. STELLOMAKER (4) looks best of the others.

    Summary: YUKAI (1) put up a satisfying performance when finishing third last time out and meets a similar division where she can find herself going one more. HARVESTER (2) was a good winner over the distance in his second career start and will be of no surprise if he follows up as his confidence could be on the rise. GRANDEZA (3) has not had a career win yet but came very close last time when finishing 2nd over the distance and looks to be the lurker of the pack. PERLE ARDENTE (11) deserves serious consideration and can make her presence felt.

    Summary: BOOMERANG (2) was a winner in his penultimate start over the distance and will look to return to victorious ways in this competitive contest. RISING UP (3) bounced back to form last time out when he finished third over the distance and meets similar opposition which will be of no surprise if he robs the lot of a winning medal. LOKI (4) is sort of erratic of late but his overall form shows that he can be a thunderous storm if he remains wise. ABISOLA (9) will be trying her best to claim her first career win.

  85. PINATIQUE – Decent 6th in a Listed over 2100m at Toulouse on the 20th of April 2025. Definite place chance
    Summary: A wonderful small Conditional race where we find ASHNAK (1) holding the anchor here as the top selector and he has all the accolades in his favor to make winning ways here. QUINTEPLUS (2) looks to be the major threat to the top selector. From three starts, he won twice and his penultimate start found himself competing in a Group III contest and he could steal the victory here. PINATIQUE (6) has a definite place chance at best. AL DHABY (5) deserves a bold mention and wraps up the top four mix.
