R1 CHANTILLY [R-H]

C1 – PRIX D’ORGEMONT – 1100m (a5f1/2) – TURF – Newcomers Race – Flat – EUR € 50,000

  1. CIRCION CHOP – Colt by Gutaifan, the dam was placed a few times. From a stable that is not known for many winners on debut. The betting can be the most informative guide
  2. VARDIF – Colt by Siyouni, the dam won 3 races, including a Listed race. Choice profile and from a good stable. Can be expected to play a lead role
  3. AFJAN – Colt by Mehmas, the dam won 2 races and was placed in a Group 2 and a Group 1 race. From a respected trainer who will have this colt well tuned. Hard to ignore on debut
  4. LAW OF PHAROAHS – Colt by American Pharoah, the dam never ran. Will know more after this debut run and is best watched in the betting for any market moves
  5. TRINQUETTE – Colt by City Light, the dam won 1 race. Can be expected to improve for this debut run. The betting can be the best guide
  6. PEN AND SWORD – Colt by Havana Grey, the dam never raced. Stable runners are respected on debut. Any market support should be noted
  7. MANAGED MISCHIEF – Colt by Time Test, the dam won 1 race. Stable runners tend to improve for a run or two. Monitor the betting patterns
  8. ASIF ALI – Unraced Colt by A’Ali, the dam won 3 races, including a Group 2, and a Group 3 race, and was placed 4th in a Group 1. Leading trainer who does well with debutantes. Bold show likely
  9. SOLID CHANCE – Colt by Zelzal, the dam won 2 races and was placed in a Group 2 race. Speedy pedigree and a leading role anticipated. Monitor the betting patterns
    Summary: ASIF ALI (8) is bred to be sharp. his dam was a classy performer who won a Group 2 and a Group 3 race. He will be well prepared by his shrewd trainer. He is preferred over the well-bred VARDIF (2), who is by a leading Stallion in Siyouni, and the dam won in Pattern class. He can make his presence felt. AFJAN (3) and SOLID CHANCE (9) both have nice profiles, and any market support for either should indicate expected performance.

  12. SUPER SOLDIER – Nice success on debut at Leicester (UK) over 1000m in April and a pleasing 2nd at Ascot (UK) on the last start over 1000m on April 30th. Looks like a useful colt
  13. FOCUS – Good win on debut at Chantilly over 1000m on May 6th by 0.75L. He will improve from that experience and can follow up
  14. RADIANT – Won on her second start over 1100m at Angers on April 26th in a Class 3 race. Needs a few to misfire
  15. NYOKA – Two unplaced runs since a win over 900m on debut in March at Saint-Cloud on March 20th. Unlikely to trouble some of these
  16. KIMI REY – Decent win on her second start over 1000m on April 28th at Chantilly in a Class 3 race. Can not be ruled out
  17. SAUCY JANE – Three solid runs, a win two runs back over 1000m at Beverley (UK) in May and a 4th in a Listed race at York (UK) over 1000m on May 16th last time. Player
    Summary: FOCUS (4) can improve from his win on debut at this track early last month. He is given the vote ahead of the UK-trained SUPER SOLDIER (3), who won on debut and followed up in a better class of race at Ascot (UK) when second in late April. KIMI REY (7) won nicely on her latest start over this track in late April in a Class 3 race and looks progressive. SAUCY JANE (8) has performed well in her races in the UK and warrants respect on her French debut.

  19. TOYOTOMI – Placed on the last two runs, a win two runs back over 1100m at Deauville in a Listed race on April 8th. Likely to play a lead role
  20. BATWAN – Five unplaced runs this year, the latter over 1200m at Saint-Cloud on April 23rd in a Class 2 race. Out of form and has little to be enthusiastic about
  21. PONNTOS – Decent 3rd last time over 1000m at Parislongchamp in a Group 3 race on May 11th. Has to be considered
  22. CIAO PA’ – Placed on the last two runs on the last two starts, a win two runs back over 1100m on April 28th at Chantilly. Ought to be thereabouts
  23. LESSLEPASSER – Unplaced last time, 2nd before that over 1100m at Fontainebleau on March 14th in a Class 2 race. Others seem better equipped
  24. PRADARO – 5th on the last run over 1000m at Parislongchamp in a Group 3 race on May 11th. Might find a few of these too smart
  25. KIND OF BLUE – Won last time out over 1200m in the British Champion Sprint Stakes (Gr.1) at Ascot (GBR) on October 19th. Top-class performer who should fit to go
  26. MONTEILLE – 6th on the last run over 1200m in a Listed race at Chantilly on May 2nd. Needs to be more reliable
  27. COTO DE CAZA – Won on her last start over 1000m at Newmarket (UK) on October 11th in Group 3 race. Hard to overlook
    Summary: KIND OF BLUE (8) has been off the track since winning the British Champions Sprint Stakes (Gr.1) at Ascot last October, but having scored on debut last year, he should be fit and ready for his return. COTO DE CAZA (10) landed a Group 3 victory at Newmarket in her last start and looks like the main threat. PONNTOS (4) holds solid each-way claims, while TOYOTOMI (2) is worth considering despite the drop in trip.

  31. EPONINE – Fair 2nd on the last run over 1600m in a Listed race at this track on May 6th. Seems to be improving and is respected
  32. MIMOS – Unplaced last time out, 4th before that over 1400m at Deauville in a Group 3 race on April 8th. Can be opposed
  33. TIGRESS OF GAUL – Unplaced last time, 4th previously over 1600m on April 13th in a Group 3 race at Parislongchamp. Looks vulnerable
  34. RELAXX – Ran well to be 3rd over 1600m in a Listed race at this track on May 6th on her last run. Might find a few too smart
  35. BETTY CLOVER – Two placed runs this year, 2nd on the last of them over 1600m at Goodwood (UK) in a Listed race on May 3rd. Needs a few to misfire
    Summary: VADINSKA (1) was a facile winner on her debut at Saint-Cloud in a maiden race at the start of last month. She can improve from that run and will be hard to beat. GODSPEED (3) found Group 1 class a bit too much last time, but she was a decent third before that in a Group 3 race in April and can make her presence felt. GHOUFRANN (2) looks like the best each-way option and is hard to rule out. EPONINE (4) is still improving and heads the remainder.

  36. AZIMPOUR – 4th on his last run over 2000m in a Listed race at this track on May 2nd, he won over 1800m on debut last October. Could be a nice type but this looks a bit too much
  37. RIDARI – Ran on well to be 5th in the Poule D’Essai Des Poulains (Gr.1) on May 11th over 1600m at Parislongchamp. Group 3 win in April over 1600m. Capable of more improvement over this trip
  38. KING OF CITIES – Ran well to be 2nd in a Listed race over 1800m on April 15th at Newmarket (UK) on his only run this year. Nice form last year and is in the mix
  39. AL AALI – Placed on all three runs this year, 2nd on the latest over 1800m in a Group 3 race at this track on May 6th behind CUALIFICAR. Opposable
  40. LEFFARD – Two wins and a 2nd on the latest start over 2000m in a Listed race at this track on May 2nd. He is improving and warrants respect
  41. CUALIFICAR – Three wins in a row this year, the latter over 1800m at this track on May 6th in a Group 3 race. Looks progressive and can have a say in the finish
  42. DETAIN – Fair 6th last time out in the Poule D’Essai Des Poulains (Gr.1) on May 11th, a win before that over 1600m at Chelmsford (UK) on April 3rd. Up in trip and could be the best of the UK-trained runners
  43. HEYBETLI – Unplaced last time, 4th before that over 1600m in a Group 3 race at Parislongchamp on April 13th. Hard to recommend
  44. BOWMARK – Won easily over 1600m at York (UK) on May 16th on his last run. Big step up in class, but his shrewd trainer is a master with giving horses time to improve
  45. CURRAGH CAMP – 3rd on the last run over 1800m at this track in a Group 3 race on May 6th. Unlikely to trouble some of the leading contenders
  46. LUTHER – Decent 4th in the Poule D’Essai Des Poulains (Gr.1) on May 11th over 1600m at Parislongchamp last time out. Hard to rule out of the frame
  47. TRINITY COLLEGE – Two placed runs this year, 2nd on the latter over 2000m at Epsom (UK) on April 22nd in a Listed race. Look for an alternative
  48. PARACHUTISTE – Two wins of late, the latter over 2150m at Parislongchamp on April 24th in a Class 1 race. Up in class and others make more appeal
  49. TIPINSO – Placed on both runs this year, 2nd on the latter over 1600m at Toulouse on April 20th in a Listed race. Unlikely to feature
  50. CAMILLE PISSARRO – Two good placed runs this year, 3rd on the latest in the Poule D’Essai Des Poulains (Gr.1) on May 11th over 1600m at Parislongchamp. Group 1 winner in the Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere last October and is sure to be involved
  51. NITOI – Won on his last start over 2000m at this track in a Listed race on May 2nd. He is improving and can sneak into the top four
  52. SINILEO – Won like a smart colt on his sole start over 1600m at this track by 2L on May 16th in a maiden race. Big jump up in class, but although he lacks experience he can feature
  53. FRANKLY GOOD CEN – Fair 2nd last time out over 1600m in a Class 2 race at Compiegne on his second start on May 21st. Outside place contender
    Summary: SINILEO (17) lacks experience but won well on his debut in a maiden race over 1600m in mid-May at this track. He will improve and is the choice of Maxime Guyon. He can give a good account of himself at attractive odds. CAMILLE PISSARRO (15) has performed well on both runs this year, the latest when third in the Poule D’Essai Des Poulains (Gr.1) on May 11th over 1600m at Parislongchamp. He should be suited to this extra distance. DETAIN (7) was back in sixth in the same race and warrants respect. RIDARI (2) was a little unlucky and finished one place ahead in fifth and is also worth considering. LUTHER (11) is another that warrants respect.

  55. ESTEPONA – Finished 2nd in a Group 3 race over 1100m at this course on 14 April. Was highly rated as a two-year-old and could improve further
  56. GLANWORTH – Finished 2nd in a Conditions race over 1200m at this track on 2 May. Improving sort but could find the opposition too strong
  57. DETONATE – Won a Conditions race over 1400m at Saint-Cloud on 9 May. A decent runner but looks outclassed in this field
  58. MEHMIST – Ran 9th in a Grade 3 race over 1100m at this track on 14 April. He looks outclassed in this field
  59. MIDNIGHT STRIKE – Ran 4th in a Listed race over 1200m race at Navan in Ireland. A Joseph O’Brien-trained raider with Maxime Guyon in the irons
  60. SOLDIER’S HEART – Won a Listed event over 1200m at Ripon on 26 August 2024. He has the ability to win this race if fit enough
  61. RAYEVKA – Finished 4th in a Group 3 race over 1100m at this track on 14 April. She went too fast on her comeback run and will run better this time
  62. UNE POINTURE – Finished 3rd in a Conditions race over this course and distance on 2 May. Looks unlikely to trouble the top runners
  63. APOLLO FOUNTAIN – Finished 5th in a Conditions race over 1400m at ParisLongchamp on 4 May. Found 1400m too far and should improve over this shorter trip
    Summary: ARABIE (1) did not produce his best when running fifth in a Group 2 race over 1200m at Ascot but should improve on that, especially as he has a win over this course and distance. He will be fitted with blinkers for this race which could help. ESTEPONA (2) had an excellent return from a six-month break last time and more can be expected. RAYEVKA (8) Pulled hard in her return race and will do better if she settles. SOLDIER’S HEART (7) comes back after a break and will run well if fit enough.

  66. PAY TO LEARN – Finished 4th in a Conditions race over 2400m at Compiegne on 10 May. This gelding is at his best over this distance and should run well
  67. GALEGO STAR – Ran 6th in a Conditions race over 300m at Angers. This gelding would be a surprise winner of this race
  68. ZULU WARRIOR – Ran 8th in a Handicap over 2400m at ParisLongchamp on 13 April. Performed better than rated and from a good draw should be considered
  69. GUINESS STAR – Won a Handicap over 3100m at Saint-Cloud on 1 May. He has been heavily penalised by the handicapper for his last two wins
  70. BACK TO BLACK – Won a Handicap over 2400m at Paris Longchamp on 7 May. Performs well over the distance but has landed No 16 draw.
  71. NEPALAIS – Won a Handicap over 2300m at Angers on 20 May. This gelding is in good form and could sneak into the places
  72. HAVE DANCER – Finished 7th in a Handicap over 2000m at ParisLongchamp on 17 April. Has won over 2400m but seems better over shorter
  73. KING TREZY – Finished 2nd in a Handicap over 2400m at ParisLongchamp on 7 May. Was beaten by BACK TO BLACK (7) but has the better draw
  74. GATTOPARDO – Ran 3rd in a Handicap over 2400m at ParisLongchamp on 7 May. Likes the distance but looks held by others
  75. IL CAPO – Won a Handicap over 2400m at Lyon Parilly on 23 April. That was quite a weak field and he does look outclassed
  76. TIGER ROCK – Ran 6th in a Handicap over 2400m at ParisLongchamp on 7 May but looks well held by others in the field
  77. MEHLANGO – Finished 8th in a Handicap over 2400m at ParisLongchamp on 7 May. Is well held by a number of other runners
  78. ROUDOUDOU – Finished 3rd in a Handicap over 3100m at Saint-Cloud on 1 May. Will need to improve to feature in this event
  79. HATIM – Won a Handicap over 2400m at Toulouse on 20 April but does take a jump in class on this occasion
    Summary: PAY TO LEARN (3) has three wins and two fourths in his five races over this distance and looks the runner they will all have to beat. This demanding track should be ideal for him. There is not much to choose between him and CASSIUS (2) on their last run as the latter actually finished narrowly ahead and is slightly better off at the weights. GUINESS STAR (6) has won his last two starts but incurred the wrath of the handicapper. He also looks better suited to further. BACK TO BLACK (7) won his last two over this distance but is drawn widest.

  81. ZAKHAROVA – Ran 3rd in a Listed race over 2400m at Toulouse on 10 April and on that form looks well held by the first two.
  82. GINALYAH – Ran 2nd in a Listed race over 2400m at Toulouse on 10 April. Looks held by winner RABBIT’S FOOT (4) on that form
  83. RABBIT’S FOOT – Won a LIsted race over 2100m at Toulouse on 20 April. She has won both of her starts and looks ready to climb to the next level
  84. INDALIMOS – Ran 3rd in a Group 3 race in over 2100m at Saint-Cloud on 18 April. That was decent effort coming off her debut win
  85. KONADA – Finished 2nd in a Listed race over 2400m at ParisLongchamp on 4 May. She was beaten 2.50 lengths by SUNLY (7) and is unlikely to reverse that result
  86. SUNLY – Won a LIsted event over 2200m at ParisLongchamp on 4 May. She had a lot in hand on that occasion and is a serious contender
  87. SECRET OF LOVE – Ran second in a Listed race over 2250m at Chester in the UK on 7 May. She has a lot of experience which could help
    Summary: This looks to be quite a competitive event but one should expect improvement from INDALIMOS (5) who followed up a debut win at this course to finish third in the Group 3 Prix Cléopatre. SUNLY (7) is unbeaten in both of her stars, coming off a facile win in a Listed race last time. RABBIT’S FOOT (4) has also won both of her starts and looked decent enough when claiming the Listed Prix Caravelle. Has to be a serious runner. SECRET OF LOVE (8) placed in two Listed races in the UK and has a winning chance.

  88. SIBAYAN – Finished 2nd in a Group 3 event over 2400m at ParisLongchamp on 4 May. Beaten just one length and can improve
  89. MONT DE SOLEIL – Finished 6th in a Group 3 event over 2400m at ParisLongchamp on 4 May. Pior to that he was unbeaten in four starts over 2400m
  90. ARROW EAGLE – Won a Group 3 race over over 2400m at ParisLongchamp on 4 May. He won well and had all the other runners behind him
  91. JUNKO – Finished 4th in a Group 3 event over 2400m at ParisLongchamp on 4 May. it was his first run back since winning this race last year
    Summary: All four runners contested a Group 3 over this distance at ParisLongchamp in April but while JUNKO (4) finished fourth in that event, it was his first run back since winning this race last year. He will improve markedly on that performance. ARROW EAGLE (3) was the winner of that race and has to be respected. He should fight out the finish. SIBAYAN (1) was the second-placed finisher and has a chance while MONT DE SOLEIL (2) is well held by all of them.

  92. BLACK LIVES MATTER – Won a Handicap over 1400m at ParisLongchamp on 4 May. If he can reclaim his older form he will run well
  93. REGALIEN – Ran 3rd in a Handicap over 1350m at Lyon Parilly on 17 May. Has placed in eight of his last nine starts and will be competitive
  94. VEGA – Finished 8th in a Handicap over 1400m at ParisLongchamp on 15 May and will need to find more to feature in this
  95. ZELASQUIN – Ran 6th in a Claimer over 1400m at this course on 31 March and looks quite capable of running into the places
  96. GOLDFIELD – Ran 7th in a Qualifying Handicap over 1400m at ParisLongchamp on 11 May. Has a lot to find to make a mark on this race
  97. CROWDFUNDING – Ran 3rd in a Claimer over 1400m at Chantilly on 6 May. That was quite a strong race and if he can repeat that effort he will go close
  98. BACCHILIDE – Finished 6th in a Handicap over 1200m at Chantilly on 6 May. Won this race last year and will go close again
  99. VICTORY SALUTE – Finished 8th in a Handicap over 1200m at Chantilly on 6 May. He will need few things to go his way but has a chance
  100. AL KHAMSIN – Ran 13th in a Conditions Qualifier over 1950m at ParisLongchamp on 4 May. Drops in distance and will be hoping for the best
  101. AVRILOMANOIR – Finished 10th in a Claimer over 1100m at this track and on recent form looks unlikely to trouble the more fancied runners
  102. BABA SIM – Finished 3rd in a Handicap over 1000m at Paris Longchamp on 25 May. He is probably better in soft going but he is in good form
  103. LAMORNA COVE – Finished 8th in a Claimer over 1100m at this course on 28 April but this mare appears to have lost her form.
    Summary: This is a race for amateur riders and looks highly competitive. BACCHILIDE (7) won this race last year and seems quite capable of claiming the double. It would be a case of consistency rewarded were REGALIEN (2) to win this as he has not finished far behind the winning horses in recent races. VICTORY SALUTE (8) has some talent when in the mood but will need a lot to go his way if he is to have a winning chance. CROWDFUNDING (6) ran third behind some decent runners last time and should be in the shake-up.

  1. HALADY DES LOYAUX – Finished 9th in class H at Durtal over 2825m on 18 May. On a long losing streak and needs to find a few lengths to win
  2. IRONIE DES BROUETS – Finished 7th in class H at Chalon-en Champagne over 2625m on 25 May. Victorious in March and could be the surprise package of the race
  3. IF DE QUERAY – Holding form and finished third in class G at Châtelaillon-La Rochelle over 2625m on 11 May. Has shown improvement and can contest the finish
  4. J’ADORE CHENEVIERE – Has struggled of late and was 9th in class H at Abbeville over 2325m on 11 May. Capable of better but others are preferred
  5. JONCTION HAUFOR – Not disgraced when 4th in class E at Cholet over 2800m on 21 April. Has major disqualification issues and others are preferred
  6. ILEA D’IRATY – Finished 5th in class H at Ranes over 3150m on 18 May. In poor form and has disqualification issues. Best watched for now
  7. JULIANA VICI – Unreliable and finished 6th in class G at Vichy over 2800m on 26 May. Victorious back in June of last year and is capable of an upset
  8. JAPPELOUP CARNOIS – Victorious in Class G at this course over 2825m on 13 April. Remains barefoot and can double up if in the same mood
  9. IMOW ROLAU – Only modest of late and was 8th in class E at Graignes over 2725m on 23 May. Capable of doing better but others make more appeal
  10. HISCO DE PARNIERE – Finished 11th in Class F at Fougeres over 3200m on 8 May when barefoot. On a long losing streak and others are preferred
  11. HERMES DU DOMAINE – Disappointing of late and was 12th in class F at Pontivy over 2700m on 1 May. Did better last year and has a winning chance
  12. JOKER D’OLAINE – Very consistent of late and was runner-up in class E at Durtal over 2825m on 18 May. Be right there at the finish once again
  13. IMPERIAL DE FORGAN – Unreliable and was 6th in class G at Enghien over 2150m on 17 April. Not easy to trust but is capable of getting involved with the finish

  24. KIARHA DE NAPPES – Has struggled this year and finished 9th in Class E at this track over 2575m on 17 May. Needs major improvement to win
  25. KAPELLA FABULET – Unreliable but was a winner in Class F at Argentan over 2150m on 12 May. Can follow up if in the same mood
  26. KETAMINE D’UZE – Returned to form and was runner-up in Class E at Vichy over 2800m on 12 May. Keeps that shoe arrangement and can go one better
  27. KHADIDJA CASTELETS – Yet to win a race and was disqulified at Amiens on 17 May. Needs to find a few lengths to beat these rivals
    Summary: KETAMINE D’UZE (7) is unreliable and has a history of disqualifications, but she ran well with this shoe combination at Vichy and could beat these rivals if she keeps her composure. KATELINE DE BRY (4) showed improvement on grass last month and could be a threat on this surface as well. KAPELLA FABULET (6) is also inconsistent but scored nicely at Argentan and should be considered a danger. KINDLINESS (2) isn’t the easiest to trust either but is capable of contesting the finish when behaving.

  32. LAMSOU SAN – In good shape and was runner up at Mons over 2865m on 13 May. Remains barefoot and could sneak some minor money
  33. LIGHTNING JIEL – Not disgraced when 5th in Class E at Enghien over 2150m on 24 May. Capable of better and could get involved with the finish
  34. LOST DES COUPERIES – A winner of his last 3 starts, the latest in Class E at Meslay-Du-Maine over 2600m on 15 May. Unbeaten barefoot and can win again
  35. LYRA DU METZ – Needed her only run of the year and was 7th in Class E at Bernay over 2825m on 1 May. Probably needs to find a few lengths to win
  36. LISBETH – Disqualified at Salon de Provence over 2200m on 22 May. Hard to trust and is probably best watched for now
  37. LIANGA – Unreliable but was a winner in Class E at Meslay–Du-Maine over 2600m on 15 May. Tougher task this time but must be respected
  38. LOKI DE BEAUCAMPS – Completed a hat-trick, the latest in Class C at Agen-La Garenne over 2575 on 5 April 2024. Returns from a break but is not out of it
  39. LOCAL HERO – Much improved of late and was a winner of his last two starts, the last one in Class E at Lecroise-Laroche over 2700m on 12 May. Can complete the hat-trick
    Summary: LOST DES COUPERIES (7) remains unbeaten since racing barefoot, having won his last three starts. He’s clearly at home on this track and gets a confident vote to extend his winning streak. LOKI DE BEAUCAMPS (11) completed a fine hat-trick at Agen-La Garenne but returns from a lengthy absence, so fitness could be a concern. LIGHTNING JIEL (6) is fit and ready to contest the finish. LOCAL HERO (12) is also chasing a hat-trick but isn’t as reliable as some of his rivals.

  45. ISMAIL DU PRE – Much improved of late and was third in Class F at Nancy over 2600m on 21 April. Big chance in this line-up
  46. HONEY DE GINAI – On a very long losing run and finished 7th in Class F at Ecommoy over 2750m on 11 May. More is needed to beat these rivals
  47. IGGY RUDLAND – Has lost his way of late and was disqualified at Salon-de-Provence on 22 May. Others are more preferred
  48. IMHOTEP MADRIK – Has major disqualification issues and faulted last time out at Vincennes on 23 May. Capable of winning when in the right mood
  49. HIDAO DE LA GOUTTE – On a very long losing run and is coming off a disqualification at Strasbourg on 15 May. Others make more appeal
  50. IRON SPIRIT – Only modest of late and finished 8th in Class H at Ranes over 3150m on 18 May. Needs major improvement to win
  51. GALEO DU TORDOIR – Not disgraced when 5th in Class F at Châlons-en-Champagne over 2600m on 8 May. Capable of making the frame
    Summary: A very open-looking event. ISMAIL DU PRE (6) wasn’t disgraced at Nancy but is better judged on his solid win at Amiens and gets a tentative vote to score. IMHOTEP MADRIK (9) has had his share of disqualification issues, but he’s talented and poses a real threat if he keeps his action together. IDOCTRO DE HOUELLE (5) showed improvement at Maure-de-Bretagne and could be competitive in this line-up. GALEO DU TORDOIR (12) is race-fit and shouldn’t be ruled out either.

  56. LEODAGAN – Has major disqualfication issues but was victorious in Class F at Laval over 2850m on 16 May. Can follow up if in the same mood
  57. LILIUM TUILERIE – Clearly unreliable and was diqualified at this track on 17 May. Did win his penultimate start and is not out of it
  58. LEO JIEL – Well tried this year and did run when third in a Class F Mounted race at this track over 2550m on 17 May. Can contest the finish
  59. LA NOTE – Consistent last year and was runner-up in a Class D Mounted race at Vichy over 2200m on 21 September. Returns from a break but can go one better
  60. LOEK DE REUX – Very unreliable and was 9th in Class E at Le Croisé-Laroche over 2700m on 12 May. Can upset back under the saddle
    Summary: LA NOTE (8) showed promise last year. She returns from a break but wouldn’t be a surprise winner if ready to go. LEODAGAN (5) bounced back with a commanding win at Laval and can follow up if in the same form. LEO JIEL (7) is a consistent performer and should once again be involved at the finish. LISANDRO DE LOU (4) faulted when trying this discipline on debut but has shown improvement in harness races since and is capable of stepping forward.

  66. MAXIM D’HERTALS – Only modest form so far and was 5th in Class F at Amiens over 2400m on 26 April. Might play a minor role
  67. MAKARINA DE BOMO – Has disqualification issues and faulted again at Le Mont-Saint-Michel on 27 April. Can earn some money if wise
  68. MAO DU CAMPDOS – Only modest of late and finished 7th in Class G at Cluny over 2700m on 8 May. More is needed to win
  69. MARY PICKFORD – Showed promise on debut when runner-up in Class G at Ranes over 2150m on 18 May. Can be competitve this longer distance
  70. MONACO – Much improved last run when runner-up in Class F at Laon over 2850m on 1 May. Can contest the finish again
  71. MA CHOUCHOU – Has disqualification issues and faulted last time out at Strasbourg on 15 May. Did better in her penultimate start and has a place chance if smart
  72. MAGICAL – Showed vast improvement when runner-up in Class F at Bordeaux-Le Bouscat over 2650m on 14 April. Can go one better this time
    Summary: MAGICAL (12) showed marked improvement last time out following a trainer change and could go one better here. A solid bet for this lucky last race. MONACO (10) has had disqualification issues but produced a pleasing effort at Laon and could be a threat again. MARY PICKFORD (9) ran well on debut, though that effort came on grass. MAILLON DU CHÊNE (4) showed some improvement at Strasbourg and may have more to offer.
