R1 VINCENNES [L-H]
C1 – PRIX OKDA – 2850m (a2m) – Class D Race – Harness – EUR € 46,000
- EDO GRIF – Makes Vincennes debut after running 2nd of 14 over 2100m in Naples early last month and already looks out of his depth
- ERGA OMNES PAR – Sanctioned in a 2850m monte Class B here 10 days ago. Has no love for the main track and can be ruled out
- ESPADA (ITY) – 4th of 7 over 2400m in Avenches late-April. Unraced since and is not about to create an upset
- EBRIUS (ITY) – Has been showing the limits of his capacity, most recently 6th of 9 finishers behind NECTAR OCCAGNES (9) in a 2100m Class E here on 16 May, and will have few takers
- MAN OF STEEL (GER) – Decent 4th of 10 finishers behind ERES DORIAL MAIL (8) in a 2700m Class D here on 9 May. Front shoes back on though and others easier to back
- ELOISE GAR – 4th of 14 in a 2100m Class E here on 14 May. Left a good impression that day and Matthieu Abrivard gets the nod. First 5
- QUEEN OF THE NIGHT – Unplaced in both French starts to date, most recently 9th of 14 behind ELOISE GAR (6) in a 2100m Class E here on 14 May. Should be fully-fit by now though and is not to be overlooked
- ERES DORIAL MAIL – Pleased here on 9 May but failed to confirm a week later when sanctioned in a 2100m Class E. Appears to have turned a corner and Gabriele Gelormini will be eager to show its was not just a flash in the pan
- NECTAR OCCAGNES – 11th of 14 in a 2100m Class D here a week ago. Yet to get fully into his stride since coming south and cannot be considered a priority
- KILIMANDJARO PLAYA – Did not enjoy the best of trips when sanctioned in a 2700m Class D here a fortnight ago. Form is not in question though and can wrap this up if kept focused
- KARMA TEJY – Ran 3rd at Le Mans prior to coming 4th of 11 in a 2700m Class D here a fortnight ago. Sports a fresh formula but still no more than a minor place chance
- KHEOPS BOURBON – 8th of 10 in a 2700m Class D at Le Croise-Laroche a month back. Has been off the boil all year and can be passed over
- EMPIRE AS – Starts for first time since being sanctioned in a 2150m Enghien Class D last March. Alexandre Abrivard in the bike this time and warrants considerable respect
- KASH QUICK – Won 2 of last 3, latterly a 2875m Argentan Class E on 25 May. Showed good speed here last season and in current shape is easy to like for the win
- RAGAZZA DU CHENE – Useful mare but has not raced since finishing 8th of 16 in a 2150m Enghien Class D on 11 March and with shoes on will have nothing to offer
- KLASSIC DREAM – Put in a fine performance only to be sanctioned in a 3000m Nantes Class E 2.5 weeks ago. Is clearly in form, returns to racing barefoot, and enjoys a fine entry. Place chance
Summary: Unlucky not to keep his unbeaten main-track status intact earlier in the month, KILIMANDJARO PLAYA (10) goes barefoot again and should be able to win this if Anthony Barrier keeps him trotting. KASH QUICK (14) though took his win-rate to 50 percent late last month and will be no easy touch. EMPIRE AS (13) may not have been seen out since early-March but tasted victory last time here and is barefoot for his comeback. Reunited with Eric Raffin after posting 3 straight sanctions, hopes are high that the capricious but capable KLASSIC DREAM (16) can get back in the game.

C2 – PRIX MELPOMENE – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class D Race – Harness – EUR € 46,000 - INDIGO DU PERCHE – Won 4 of 6 this year, most recently a 2500m Reims Class F 11 days ago. Has 6yo’s to deal with this time but is still easy to like for a minor place cheque
- JEALOUS GIRL – Sprang a 79/1 surprise when 2nd of 13 in a 2175m Class D here earlier in the month. Unlikely to create an upset but can nonetheless get in on the action
- IN LOVE D’ECAJEUL – Ran respectable 5th of 12 in a 2700m Class F at La Capelle 3 weeks ago but in this company will have his work cut out
- INCISIF VAUCEEN – Sanctioned in a 2975m Jallais Class E last Sunday. Has never excelled at Vincennes and even though sporting modified shoeing still looks an outsider
- JOB DU PERSIL – Encouraged over inner track before being sanctioned in a 2175m Class D here 2 weeks ago and will not be influencing the result
- JIDEO STREET – Solid as a rock over past month, latterly 3rd of 10 in a 2175m Class D here a fortnight back. Won his last 2 with Gabi Gelormini reining and must be considered a priority
- JOPLIN DES CROUAS – Sanctioned in last 2, latterly a Class C under these conditions 3 weeks ago. Is barefoot this time though and on good behaviour can finish in the mix
- JOHORE – Has held his own in 4 of 5 starts this year, most recently 3rd of 11 in a 2725m Graignes Class E a month back. Goes well for the most part here and, barefoot for the occasion, must be respected
- JUST A COUET – 5th of 16 when preparing for this in a 2825m Durtal Class E on 1 June. Thrives at Vincennes and is an obvious candidate for a place in the frame
- JAG ROYAL – Makes first appearance since comfortably winning a 2450m Caen Class D in early-March. Appreciates 2700m here and with application can bring home the bacon
- JEUNESSE ETERNELLE – Made up for Enghien sanction when making short work of a 3000m Nantes class D 3 weeks ago. Beat a horse that day that duly went on to impose superbly and can expect the lion’s share of support
- JUDOPOCK – Justifiably well-regarded type but has not been seen out since early-February and with shoes on will have little to offer
Summary: While never far from losing her action, JEUNESSE ETERNELLE (11) was like a horse reborn last month and, ideally-engaged here, can confirm her Nantes success. JAG ROYAL (10) has not been seen out since March but he boasts fine course-and-distance credentials, and has already won 3 times for his driver. JIDEO STREET (6) is plainly in rude health and steps back up in trip with a lot to contribute. JUST A COUET (9) has nothing to prove under these conditions and reverts to a successful configuration.

C3 – PRIX CLEMENTINA – 2100m (a1m1/4) – Class E Race – Harness – EUR € 52,000 - IQUITO PLANCHETTE – 3rd over longer here last month before coming 4th of 10 in a 2350m Angers Class E 10 days ago. Is plainly close to his race and Franck Blandin can be confident of another big run
- MAGGIORE (SWE) – Fine servant that ran 3rd of 8 to CARL HALBAK (5) in a 2650m Hyeres Class D earlier in the month. Has hardly put a foot wrong all year and the draw will do her prospects no disservice
- IRMYLA DE SOMMAIRE – Back in Paris after running 6th of 15 in a 2950m Saint-Malo Class F on 8 June. Appears to be a long way from her best and despite a good draw still looks an outsider
- GARTH VADER – 6th of 11 over 2140m in Bollnas late last month. Has placed twice in 3 starts over track and trip, is barefoot for first time this year, and the Eric Raffin-factor cannot be ignored. Attention
- CARL HALBAK – Won 2 of last 3, latterly a 2650m Hyeres Class D earlier in the month. Thrives with Matthieu Abrivard and has every chance of confirming
- HORS SAISON – Disappointing this year, most recently 10th of 16 behind HUGO DU BOURG (9) in a Class D over track and trip 2 weeks ago, and is unlikely to spring any surprises
- ROSSI GARLINE – Sanctioned in a 2600m Moulins Class F on 18 May. Disappointing since winning at Agen last March and must first re-establish his credentials
- IN LOVE DE BLARY – Winner of a 2800m Pontchateau monte Class E on 5 June. Shoes on this time and will have other priorities
- HUGO DU BOURG – 8th of 16 in a Class D over course and distance a fortnight back. Has made no impact for some time and has no realistic chance
- CANTAB AS – 5th of 14 in a 2600m Nancy Class E 3 weeks ago. Has not imposed for over a year but is in his category and can again make first 5
- SANGRIA PELLINI – 2nd over course and distance in April before winning over 2000m in Gelsenkirchen a month ago. Simply never disappoints when focused and despite the draw, looks a major player
- ADAMO DIPA – 4th of 12 behind CALIMA DI POGGIO (13) in a 2200m Caen Class F on 10 May, but a repeat seems most improbable
- CALIMA DI POGGIO – Placed in 3, including under these conditions, before being sanctioned in a 2575m Agen Class E late last month. Left a good impression over track and trip in April and with application can contest the finish
Summary: CARL HALBAK (5) has not skipped a beat since leaving his native Scandinavia, is shod as he was when imposing under these conditions in April, and is easy to like for the win. Matthieu Abrivard will still be wary of the less favourably-positioned CALIMA DI POGGIO (13) who makes his first start for the Bazire yard, with Alexandre Abrivard in the bike. IQUITO PLANCHETTE (1) faces a less-exalted bunch this time and should again finish close. Runner-up in both appearances over course and distance, SANGRIA PELLINI (11) is forced to start on the back line but is barefoot for the occasion and must be taken at face value.

C4 – PRIX RHODOPE – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class D Race – Harness – EUR € 59,000 - GREAT ROCK – 4th of 16, a place behind HESCORT LOVE (3), in a 2100m Class D here 2 weeks ago. Tony Beller gets the nod this time and will assure his charge a competitive drive
- GIBALDI DE HOUELLE – Did not enjoy the best of trips when last of 14 behind FERGIE HIGHLAND (16) in a 2100m Class D here mid-May. Has been afforded ample time to recalibrate and can get a look-in if kept out of trouble
- HESCORT LOVE – Left a very good impression on comeback 2 weeks ago when 3rd of 16 in a 2100m Class D here a fortnight ago. Will have come on for the run and with application will be no pushover
- GAMIN NORMAND – Last but one, on return from a break, in a 2625m Cherbourg Class E last Sunday and is not about to spring any surprises
- HERMES D’ECROVILLE – Failed to confirm Alencon effort when 11th of 16 behind HOLD UP DES VENTES (13) in a 2850m Laval Class D on 16 May, and will need to show another side
- HIMBERLAND – Disappointing of late, latterly sanctioned in 16 May race of reference, and must get his house in order
- GETEHI DU NOYER – Showed marked improvement when 3rd of 15 in a 2825m Lignieres Class E on 25 May. Is proven under these conditions but would be preferred over 2100m here
- GEDEON DAIRPET – Made up for Lisieux sanction when dominating a 2850m Class D here late last month and is thoroughly capable of repeating
- FULL CASH DE PADD – Sanctioned on return from a spell in a 2825m Lignieres Class E on 25 May. Never closer than 4th over the main track but Eric Raffin will be eager to maintain their unbeaten partnership
- EUNIS DU PATURAL – Less dynamic than he was earlier in the year, latterly 6th of 10 finishers in a 3025m Eauze Class E on 2 June. Matthieu Abrivard in the bike though and can start to get back in the game
- GAMIN D’ALJY – Showed marginal improvement when 7th of 14 in a 2400m Beaumont Class D on 24 May but still has more to find
- GUIGNOL DE CHARDET – Shod to preference after running 8th of 10, on first start following a spell, in a 2650m Alencon Class D on 1 June, but still faces a stiff test
- HOLD UP DES VENTES – Has done nothing but improve since his comeback, most recently 2nd of 16 in a 2850m Laval Class D on 16 May. Has shown a liking for these conditions and can compete for a place in the frame
- FASHIONABLE QUICK – 5th of 11 in a 2650m Hyeres Class C on 10 May. Barefoot this time but is still not easy to recommend
- HURIEL LUDOIS – Sanctioned in last 2, most recently a 2875m Enghien monte Class C last Saturday, and returns to the harness code with little to contribute
- FERGIE HIGHLAND – In the frame in last 2, most recently 2nd of 14 in a 2100m Class D here on 14 May. Has had ample time to recover and returns to the track with a good hand to play
Summary: A winner of 2 for 2 earlier in the year, FULL CASH DE PADD (9) was sanctioned on re-entry but is reunited with Eric Baffin who imposed with him on their only association and could finally open his metropolitan account. That being said, GEDEON DAIRPET (8) stormed up in a Class D here 3 weeks ago and will be no soft touch. Patently on the way back up, and benefitting from a superb entry, FERGIE HIGHLAND (16) will have her chances. HOLD UP DES VENTES (13) has been enjoying a good run of form and similarly merits respect. HESCORT LOVE (3) put in a fast time on his recent return and must not be overlooked.

C5 – PRIX TERPSICHORE – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class C Race – Harness – EUR € 46,000 - LOBSTER DU BELLAY – 7th of 8 finishers to LOVEBIRD (9) in a 2175m Class C here 2.5 weeks ago, having lost ground at the start. Is better than that but nevertheless faces a stiff test
- LION SUR MER – Sanctioned on re-entry in a 2850m Laval Class C on 4 June despite putting in a good effort. Eric Raffin stays faithful and will be determined to set the record straight
- LEGACY JIEL – Quality colt making first start since coming 3rd of 7 finishers in a Class B over course and distance last February. Sports modified shoeing but may just need the run
- LOIC D’AVEL – Made it 2 on the trot when clinching a Class D over course and distance 3 weeks ago. Faces a tougher task this time but still has a lot to offer. Place prospect
- LOUSTIC D’YVEL – Won over 2175m before coming 3rd of 10 in a Class C over course and distance a month ago. Trainer back in the bike but still has a realistic chance of finishing close
- LE POETE BOURBON – Surprise 4th of 14 in a 2850m Laval Class C on 4 June. Shoes back on though and not a concern
- LIQUIDATEUR – Made up for April sanction when dominating a 2950m Vichy Class D early last month. Comes here fresh, is proven over track and trip, and with application can impose
- L’INTOUCHABLE – Unraced since securing the hat-trick in a 2825m Class A at Le Croise-Laroche last November and will not be given a hard race
- LOVEBIRD – Good, consistent campaigner that courageously won a 2175m Class C here 2.5 weeks ago. Has never disappointed at Vincennes and is not to be underestimated
- LAMONT DU DOUET – Takes a dip in category after finishing 7th of 10 behind LOBBING DE BLARY (12) in a Class B over course and distance 3 weeks ago but will still need to find more
- LOTUS GRIFF – No slouch on a good day but will need to improve on latest 6th of 10 behind LOBBING DE BLARY (12) in a Class B over course and distance 3 weeks ago
- LOBBING DE BLARY – Drops marginally down the category-ladder after coming 4th of 10 in a Class B over course and distance 3 weeks ago and should have the measure of most here. Claim
- LUPIN D’OLMEN – Classy colt that ran 8th of 9 finishers in a 3000m Marseille-Borely Class C, on comeback, on 7 May. Sports a fresh configuration for main-track debut and will justifiably generate interest
- LUGANO DE LOU – 4th over course and distance before running 2nd of 8 finishers to LOVEBIRD (9) in a 2175m Class C here 2.5 weeks ago. Remains shod but enjoys an excellent entry and is not to be overlooked
Summary: Back this term doing what he does best, LOBBING DE BLARY (12) takes a dip in category, has solid references under these conditions, and looks the one to beat. He will still be opposed by the spirited but talented LIQUIDATEUR (7) who opened his 2025 account at Vichy last month, and LOIC D’AVEL (4) who steps up in class on a hat-trick. LOUSTIC D’YVEL (5) has turned a corner lately and looks competitive for a place in the frame.

C6 – PRIX CYBELE – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class D Race – Mounted – EUR € 40,000 - LYNX ATOUT – Has not been seen out since running 7th of 8 behind LOVI CADENCE (6) in a 2200m Class D here in early-April and can be confidently disregarded
- LINOS DU GOUTIER – Showed his ridden potential in early-May before finishing last but one in a 2950m Toulouse harness Class B 2 weeks ago. Takes on a better lot this time and others preferred
- LAPONIE D’EMMA – 2nd of 10 finishers, on monte debut, in a 2450m Caen Class F late last month. Adrien Lamy in the irons this time and is unlikely to be far off the mark
- LUCERO TEJY – Imposed at Enghien in April before running 4th of 8 finishers in a harness Class D over course and distance 3 weeks ago. Competitively-shod for first time under the saddle and must not be overlooked
- LUSSABEAU – Unexceptional 5th of 6 finishers in a 2175m Class D here on 6 May, and is unlikely to generate much interest
- LOVI CADENCE – Last of 6, a place behind LUSSABEAU (5), in a 2175m Class D here on 6 May and has a lot more to find
- LIBERTY DELO – Unlucky 2nd of 8 under these conditions early last month before coming 6th of 10 finishers in a Class C over course and distance a month ago. Is in her category and can have her Vincennes day in the sun
- L’APOGEE IMPERIAL – Sanctioned in a 2175m Class D here early last month. Has looked ordinary this term and is not about to break the mould
- LA LAGOSTERIA – Lost her focus, coming last of 5 finishers behind LAURENCIA BELLA (11) in a 2175m Class D here on 13 May. Shoes off this time and must not be underestimated
- LEGENDE DES ECUS – Terrific in all 3 monte starts, latterly clinching victory in a 2450m Caen Class E on 17 May. Has no left-handed references but will be dangerous if she turns
- LAURENCIA BELLA – Excellent 3rd of 5 finishers on re-entry in a 2175m Class D here on 13 May. Will have come on for the run and can challenge for victory this time. Chance
Summary: Back in a category in which she has already made her mark, LIBERTY DELO (7) can win this as long as Alexis Collette keeps her focused. They will still encounter resistance from the well-engaged LAURENCIA BELLA (11) who came close to imposing on her seasonal bow, and LEGENDE DES ECUS (10) who has taken to her new vocation like a bear to honey. LA LAGOSTERIA (9) is not everyone’s cup of tea but she is barefoot and, at this level, could pleasantly surprise.

C7 – PRIX EURYKLEIA – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class C Race – Harness – EUR € 46,000 - LAREDO BAY – Reassuring 3rd of 11, a place behind LUCIOLE DU VERTAIN (15), in a 2175m Class C here a fortnight ago. Has yet to deliver over 2700m but it is only a question of time
- LADY QUEEN – 7th of 11 behind LUCIOLE DU VERTAIN (15) in a 2175m Class C here a fortnight ago. Shoes on this time though and will have nothing to offer
- LAMATTA – Starts for first time since finishing last of 9 in a 2100m Class B here in January. Sports 4 pads for first time but still not a concern
- LA SPEZIA DE LOU – Failed to live up to expectations when last of 11 behind LALUNA DES FORGES (5) on re-entry in a Class C over course and distance mid-May. Gets another crack at racing barefoot but others still easier to trust
- LALUNA DES FORGES – 7th of 14 behind LA MITIDJA (12) when preparing for this in a 2850m Laval Class C on 4 June. Ran 3rd under these conditions mid-May and must be respected
- LUNGA DES BROUSSES – Pleasant 7th of 11 behind LALUNA DES FORGES (5) on re-entry in a Class C over course and distance mid-May. Will have progressed for the run and while not a priority is still worth keeping an eye on

- LILY DE L’AUNAY – Sprang a 51/1 surprise when flying up in a 2100m Class D here early last month and with form maintained can pull off the double
- LOLA DAIRPET – Sanctioned in a 2700m monte Class C here a month back. Under harness for a change of scenery and can be disregarded
- LUNA DOMA – Has turned a corner since starting to race barefoot, latterly winning a 2150m Enghien Class D on 17 April. May be a race shy but is still worth retaining
- LAURELINA – Unremarkable 7th of 9, on return to competition, in a 2150m Vichy Class C a month back and appears to need another run
- LA MITIDJA – 2nd of 14 in a 2850m Laval Class C on 4 June. Boasts excellent credentials under these conditions and can impose
- LUNA PARK – Serious filly making first appearance since finishing 8th of 14 in a 2850m Class B here in early-March. Shoes on this time and best to wait
- LAFOLLY DELO – 5th of 10 finishers in a 2175m monte Class D here late last month. Has other ambitions and can be ruled out
- LUCIOLE DU VERTAIN – Has done nothing but improve lately, most recently 2nd of 11 in a 2175m Class C here a fortnight ago. Benefits from a terrific entry and should not be ruled out
- L’ETOILE – 4th of 12 over track and trip before being sanctioned in a 2700m monte Class C here 2 months ago. Has freshness on her side and with application will be competitive for a place on the podium
Summary: Dependability may not be her strong suit but LILY DE L’AUNAY (8) was so impressive here last month that it is difficult to imagine her not being competitive this time too. She will still have to take on the tricky but talented, and reconfigured, LA MITIDJA (12) who will be reined by Eric Raffin for the first time, and the nicely-entered L’ETOILE (16) who reverts to a previous configuration. LALUNA DES FORGES (5) has never disappointed when barefoot and is not going to be far from the action.

C8 – PRIX CALLISTO – 2850m (a2m) – Class C Race – Mounted – EUR € 68,000 - ILLICO DE LOU – Sanctioned in a 2800m Pontchateau Class E a fortnight ago and in present shape is not easy to recommend
- ISLAMORADA – 10th of 12, on return to competition, in a 2700m Graignes harness Class D a fortnight back. Has won 5 times with Camille Levesque, races barefoot for the occasion, and will be no pushover
- ENJEU DAIRPET – Back under the saddle after running 8th of 10 finishers in a 2975m Jallais harness Class E last weekend and backs up with limited ambition
- INITIALE CASTELETS – 3rd of 11 in a 3000m Nantes Class E 2.5 weeks ago. Is close to her race and should appreciate the new conditions. Place chance
- HIS DREAM DE CAHOT – Unthreatening 5th of 8 in a 2850m Laval Class C on 4 June and is unlikely to play an active role
- IGO CLEA – Has enjoyed a terrific run of form this year, latterly 2nd of 12 in a 2625m Agen Class D late last month, and can bring the fight to HERMES EXPRESS (8)
- FALTO DES LANDIERS – Imposed at Lisieux before running 4th of 8 in a 2950m Vichy Class D 2.5 weeks ago, however a repeat seems most unlikely
- HERMES EXPRESS – Unraced since coming 6th of 12 in a 2850m Class D over main course on 25 April. Scored on monte debut earlier in the year and can repeat
- ELIXIR – Kicked the year off nicely but below-par since, latterly sanctioned in a 2850m Laval Class C on 4 June, and can be ruled out
- GILBERTO – 6th of 15 in a 2600m harness Class A at Villeneuve-sur-Lot on 25 May. Cannot be considered a contender but is worth retaining for a minor place cheque
- HERMES ANGEL – 7th of 15, a place behind GILBERTO (10), on re-entry in a 2600m harness Class A at Villeneuve-sur-Lot on 25 May. Seldom puts a foot out of line in this branch of the business and is not about to start now
- FLASH DU BIWETZ – Made amends for Caen performance when 3rd of 10 in a 2850m Class C over the main track on 27 May. Has ground to make up but can still finish in first 5
Summary: Excellent winner on his only ridden start, HERMES EXPRESS (8) returns to the discipline following a short spell and Eric Raffin will be expecting to confirm. He will still be keeping a watchful eye on IGO CLEA (6) who has been knocking at the door recently, and a barefoot ISLAMORADA (2) who imposed last time under these conditions. Regularly in the thick of things, INITIALE CASTELETS (4) put in a fine finish at Nantes and must be taken seriously.

- MAJESTE DU MENIL – Disqualified At Reims on 9 June. Has run well at this track before and is capable of contesting the finish
- MANOLA DE MUZE – Disqualified at Graignes on 5 June. Ignore her last disqualification and can bounce back to beat these rivals
- MAGIQUE STEED – Disappointing last run when 6th in Class D at Salon -de-Provence over 2200m on 22 May. A good debut winner that must be respected
- MISS WILLIAMS – Unreliable this year and finished 5th in Class E at Amiens over 2400m on 26 May. More is needed to win this race
- MY LOVELY EBONY – Showed some improvement when third in Class D at Caen over 2200m on 31 May. Can earn some more money in this line-up
- MATRIONA – Not disgraced when 5th in Class E at this track over 2750m on 4 May. Might play a minor role at very best
- MASCOTT DU CHOQUEL – In good shape and was a winner in Class G at Le Neuborg over 2200m on 9 June. Could earn some minor money
- MILANTERA – Disqualified at this track on 31 May. Has four of them in a row to her name so she is probably best watched for now

- MAYA DES BAUX – Only modest so far and finished 5th in Class E at Les Andelys over 2525m on 15th June. More is needed to win this race
Summary: MANOLA DE MUZE (7) is obviously a talented trotter and can easily be forgiven her last sanction. She is the pick to redeem herself. MAJESTE DU MENIL (6) ran a huge race at this track on 8 May and has a solid chance on the back of this performance.
