R1 VINCENNES [L-H]
C1 – PRIX GUILLAUME DE BELLAIGUE – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Gr3 Race – Mounted – EUR € 90,000
- JEZABELLE BIE – Last of 5 to FILWELL (7) in 2175m Gr.3 Prix Paul Delanoe here on 3 June. Competitively-shod this time but others still preferred
- FARANDOLE DI PALBA – Got back down to business mid-month when successful in a 2875m Enghien Class C, but on this occasion will have too much to do
- HEDEN CRUZ – Dependable type that ran 3rd of 9 to IMPALA DE VAL (5) in a 2850m Class A here on 13 June, on first start at this level. Unlikely to spring a surprise but should nevertheless hold his own
- JEROBOAM D’ERABLE – 5th of 15 when preparing for this in a 2700m Graignes harness Class D 3 weeks ago. Boasts a superb record in the day’s configuration and looks main danger to IMPALA DE VAL (5)
- IMPALA DE VAL – Classy campaigner that made short work of a 2850m Class A here on 13 June. In better company this time but is still the pick of the lot
- EXTREME DESBOIS – Gave a good account despite being sanctioned in 2175m Gr.3 Prix Paul Delanoe here on 3 June. Is plainly in fine shape and although unlikely to win this, can nonetheless challenge for a place on the podium
- FILWELL – Made up for May sanction when comfortably winning 2175m Gr.3 Prix Paul Delanoe here on 3 June. Takes on a superior lot this time but still represents a decent first-5 chance
- JEAN BALTHAZAR – Going well when sanctioned in 3 June race of reference. Sports modified shoeing this time and is unlikely to shake things up
- INA DU RIB – 8th of 9 in a 2850m Gr.2 harness conditioner 3 weeks ago. Is a steamroller when barefoot and must be taken very seriously
Summary: Enjoying something of a renaissance since the turn of the year, IMPALA DE VAL (5) is here on a 5-timer and is going to take all the beating. Three times a Gr.2 winner during the winter meeting, JEROBOAM D’ERABLE (4) has a pair of harness runs under his belt and, shod to preference, should logically feature prominently at the business end of the race. Barefoot for the first time since winning the Gr.1 Prix de l’Ile-de-France in February, INA DU RIB (9) will be no soft touch. Solid so far this year, EXTREME DESBOIS (6) can make up for his latest sanction if Clement Frecelle keeps him focused.

C2 – PRIX URANIA – 2100m (a1m1/4) – Class D Race – Harness – EUR € 56,000 - HIRONDELLE FEE – 7th of 14 in a 2825m Chartres Class E on 1 June and will need to find significantly more
- HAIKIDO – Returns to a hard surface after being sanctioned in a 3025m Montlucon Class E on 29 May. In the frame in last 3 over the main track and reverts to a previous formula. First 5 chance
- ILIANO DES PLAINES – Good, consistent campaigner that ran 3rd of 15 in a 3000m Montlucon Class A mid-month. Eric Raffin in the bike this time and although not a priority is still worth keeping an eye on
- ISTORIC MAUZUN – Made it 4 straight victories after tenaciously winning a 2700m Class D here mid-May. Is unbeaten with Jean-Michel Bazire and expected to stay that way
- HORIZON D’EYMY – Surprisingly sanctioned in a Class D over track and trip 3 weeks ago. Enjoys a good draw and, already twice a winner under these conditions, must be afforded considerable respect
- HEXCELLENTE – Did not enjoy the best of trips when 7th of 16 in a Class D over course and distance 3 weeks ago. Twice a winner under these conditions and from the front row will have her chances
- IVANA DES RACQUES – Unlucky not to have won a 2350m Angers Class E 2.5 weeks ago, being forced to settle for 2nd of 10. Comfortable over these shorter trips and the new configuration may be just the ticket
- IVANA DE BERTRANGE – Has not been seen out since coming 5th of 13 in a 2925m Cagnes Class E in February and would be preferred barefoot
- HIATUS – Got back in the game late last month when 3rd of 16 in a 2850m Class D here. Not ideally-positioned but with form maintained can get in on the action
- IGGYPOP D’HERFRAIE – Sanctioned when being conditioned in a 2700m Graignes Class D 3 weeks ago and in this company will have too much to do
- ILIO MANNETOT – In the frame in last 2 here, most recently 3rd of 14 in a Class D under these conditions a fortnight back. On the back line but will not be sent out at 29/1 this time
Summary: Always a well-regarded type, ISTORIC MAUZUN (4) has taken his game to a new level since being associated with the elite of the driver fraternity and has every chance of making it 5 on the trot. The good HORIZON D’EYMY (5) was very unlucky here earlier in the month, thrives under these conditions, and Kristof Depuydt will be eager to set the record straight. HEXCELLENTE (6) has fine finishing speed and must be taken seriously, as should the in-form ILIO MANNETOT (11) despite the less-favourable draw.

C3 – PRIX ISIS – 2850m (a2m) – Class D Race – Harness – EUR € 46,000 - DEMIDOFF CLA – Unexceptional over recent months, latterly 6th of 16 behind HASHTAG SIMONI (5) in a 2100m Class C here on 14 May, and is unlikely to spice things up
- DERBY KRONOS – Wonderful campaigner with an enviable strike-rate but has not raced since winning a 2100m Class D here last August. Barefoot for re-entry but still not a concern
- GLOBAL DUTY – 7th of 15 behind HARPY (7) in a 2875m Enghien Class D on 14 June. Not always the most reliable but is no slouch when focused and must be retained
- JERICHO DU RIB – Superb winner at Le Mans before running 4th of 11 to JOSHUA PEJI (6) in a 2850m Laval Class D on 12 June. Unlikely to win this but will still be expected to play an active role
- HASHTAG SIMONI – Sanctioned early in a 2800m Chartres monte Class F last week. Is reunited with Eric Raffin and looks competitive for a step on the podium
- JOSHUA PEJI – Tricky character returning to Vincennes on a 3-timer, most recently winning 2850m Laval Class D on 12 June, and should logically bring the fight to VALLATONIAN (9)
- HARPY – Produced an excellent comeback run at home in Sweden last month before coming 5th of 15 in a 2875m Enghien Class D on 14 June. Should be fully fit by now and is unlikely to let the side down
- JUMBO D’AUVILLIER – Handy sort that ran 10th of 16 on re-entry in a 2850m Feurs class F last Saturday. Barefoot this time but is still taking on too much
- VALLATONIAN – Took some time to adapt to French conditions but won a 2700m Class C with authority here late last month and once again looks the pick of the field
- JOBALASKO BLEU – Last of 8 in a 3525m Vichy Class A on 2 June. Enjoys a good entry, sports a fresh configuration, but others still easier to support
Summary: Benefitting from a terrific entry at the limit of earnings, and currently firing on all cylinders, it will not be easy to oppose VALLATONIAN (9). Matthieu Abrivard though will still be mindful of the complicated but talented JOSHUA PEJI (6) who will be competitive for the hat-trick, and HASHTAG SIMONI (5) who has been knocking at the door all year. Barefoot as he was when imposing at Le Mans, JERICHO DU RIB (4) must be considered a contender.

C4 – PRIX EVA – 2100m (a1m1/4) – Class C Race – Harness – EUR € 53,000 - KALINE DU JOUR – 4th of 13 in a 2150m Enghien Class C a month back. Forced to start on the rails but still looks competitive for a first-5 cheque
- KOH SAMUI – Last but one when prepping for this in a 2875m Enghien Class B on 14 June. Decently-placed on front line and with JMB in the bike can make a big splash
- LOLITA BOURBON – Drops back in category after coming 4th of 14 in a 2875m Enghien Class A mid-month. Has only her own sex to contend with this time and is easy to like for the win
- KINGA SUPREME – Made up for Caen sanction when dominating a 2825 Class E at Le Croise-Laroche 11 days ago. Ideally-placed behind the car and with application will have a say in the outcome
- KETTY ANGOT – 4th of 8 finishers, on return to competition, in a 2900m Dozule monte Class F on 29 May. Still in conditioning-mode though and not a concern
- KOURGA DE LOU – Tricky mare returning to the harness code after finishing last but one in a 2700m monte Gr.2 here late last month. Runs barefoot this time and with application should not be too far from the action
- KALITA D’HENINEL – Starts for first time since coming 3rd of 16 in a Class C over track and trip on 5 April. Will have been brought back on the boil and from the front row will be no easy touch
- LIZY JOSSELYN – Last of 14 behind LOLITA BOURBON (3), on first start since January, in a 2875m Enghien Class A mid-month. Races barefoot this time, is proven at a superior level, but others preferred on this occasion
- KARVINA D’ELA – Opened her 2025 account on 20 May when comfortably winning a 2850m Class D here. Failed to deliver on lone start over 2100m here and the draw just complicates matters
- EMILY LP – 5th of 15 behind ELEONORA GRIF (12) in a Class D over course and distance on 13 June. Handed a tough draw but form is not in question and merits significant respect
- ELTYME – 3rd of 14 in a Class E under these conditions mid-May. In better company this time though and the draw will do her no favours
- ELEONORA GRIF – Ran 2nd to an excellent horse in a Class D over course and distance on 13 June. Starts on 2nd line, and steps up in category, but should not be written off
- LAGUNE PIYA – Sanctioned in a 2950m Vichy Class B on 12 May. Comes here fresh but breaks from the 2nd line and others easier to back
- KINASSE DE VIVOIN – Out of the picture in 5 of last 6, latterly 8th of 13 behind KALINE DU JOUR (1) in a 2150m Enghien Class C on 24 May, and will have few takers
- FUNNY GIRL (ITY) – 6th of 10 finishers, despite being denied a run, in a 2700m Class B here on 14 May. Has been afforded time to recuperate but still represents no more than a minor place prospect
- LIBERTINE DJOB – 7th of 9 finishers in a 2450m Caen monte Gr.2 on 10 May and will have other ambitions
Summary: 5th in a Gr.2 against the boys during the spring, MAGIE DU CHATAULT (8) faces a considerably less difficult task this time around and from the 3-spot can bring home the bacon. That being said, KOH SAMUI (2) has 4 races under her belt and will be barefoot for her first objective of 2025. As honest as they come, and at home under these conditions, KALITA D’HENINEL (7) has not raced since early-April but is barefoot and looks a serious proposition. EMILY LP (10) was not the luckiest here 2 weeks ago, but showed her form and will have a part to play if Damien Bonne successfully navigates the start.

C5 – PRIX NEMAUSA – 2100m (a1m1/4) – Class C Race – Harness – EUR € 53,000 - KLINGER (NOR) – 2nd of 11 in a 2850m monte Class B here 2.5 weeks ago. Has yet to deliver under harness at Vincennes but on good behaviour will be no easy touch
- KHARNAS – Has not been seen out since coming 3rd of 11 in a 2450m Caen Class B last March. Is confirmed over 2100m here but still looks no more than a minor place chance
- KILOU D’YMER – Unraced since winning a 2450m Caen monte Class D last March and runs here for reasons of conditioning
- UNDERGROUND ARTIST – Serious Swedish import starting for first time since finishing 11th of 14 in a 2850m Class B here in early-February. Shod for the occasion and poses no danger
- KUNG FU QUICK – Good 2nd of 16 in a 2150m Enghien Class C on 24 May. Goes notably well in current configuration and from the 5-spot looks a serious proposition
- LORD DE LOIRON – Drops in category after coming 5th of 16 in a 2875m Enghien Class A on 14 June. Has never raced below 2550m but starts on first row, races barefoot, and should not be overlooked
- KISS ATOUT – Sanctioned early in a 2150m Enghien Class C late last month. Has nothing to prove at this level and will be expected to impose if Théo Duvaldestin keeps him trotting
- FERAHAN AS – 11th of 16 behind LORD DE LOIRON (6) in a 2875m Enghien Class A on 14 June. In competition-mode this time and, entrusted to Alexandre Abrivard, will be afforded every chance
- FARGO WISE AS – Soundly beaten last of 9 over 2100m in Naples early last month. Has little going for him here and can be passed over
- THE LION – Makes first appearance since running 6th of 10 finishers in a 2700m Class C here last January and is going to need the run
- ELAND – 6th of 15 in a Class D over course and distance 2 weeks ago. Regular for the most part and even from 2nd line can finish in the mix
- KID DES MOLLES – Last but one in a 3125m Angers Class D 2,5 weeks ago. Has been off the boil for some time and can be ruled out
- FARAMIR AS – 7th of 10, on first start since a spell, in a 2700m Class B here on 14 May. Is confirmed over track and trip and the engagement of Jean-Michel Bazire speaks volumes
Summary: Excellent in a pair of provincial runs, KISS ATOUT (7) then lost his action early across town a month ago, but with application can redeem himself and win this. Runner-up that day and better-placed behind the car, stablemate KUNG FU QUICK (5) will be no pushover. FARAMIR AS (13) is considerably more performant than his recent Vincennes result would suggest and despite a poor draw will be reined by JMB and must be considered a player. Norwegian raider KLINGER (NOR) (1) returns to the harness code after pleasing under the saddle and with application is unlikely to be far from the action.

C6 – PRIX FURNERIUS – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class D Race – Mounted – EUR € 56,000 - HEROIC PARK – Ran 5th at Cholet but sanctioned next time in a 2300m Chartres Class F on 1 June, and is unlikely to generate much interest
- ILIADE DE L’ITON – Made it 3 victories in 4 starts when comfortably winning a 2450m Caen Class E late last month. Is plainly better racing right-handed but is confirmed at Vincennes and pulling off the hat-trick is not out of the question
- ISBA DU VIVIER – Made short work of a 2850m Laval Class F earlier in the month. Has yet to get her nose in front here but in current condition is very easy to recommend
- ISUTAH – Good, consistent type that won a 3150m Abbeville Class F mid-month. Has never delivered here, and takes on a better lot, but still has the wherewithal to get in on the action
- HARLEY DELTO – Put in a fine performance to come 2nd of 14 in a 2800m Pontchateau Class E 3 weeks ago. Mathieu Mottier aboard this time and must be taken at face value. Place chance
- IN LOVE REGLISSE – Made up for Caen blip when 3rd of 10 in a 2725m Lisieux Class F on 8 June. Has won in both codes this term and barefoot this time will be no soft touch
- HEMILIO PIERJI – Last but one in a 2200m Caen harness Class F on 10 May and makes his monte bow with nothing to offer
- HATE YOU BEYLEV – Runner-up in 2 before coming 4th of 10 finishers in a Class E over course and distance 10 days ago, and is easy to like for a spot in the mix
- ITALIA SOLO – 5th of 14 behind HARLEY DELTO (5) in a 2800m Pontchateau Class E 3 weeks ago but has little to contribute this time around
- HILLONA DE NESLE – Showed improvement when 4th of 10 behind IN LOVE REGLISSE (6) in a 2725m Lisieux Class F on 8 June but in this company will have her work cut out
Summary: Very hard to fault in this branch of the business, ISBA DU VIVIER (3) met no opposition en route to victory at Laval and with form maintained may just have the measure of the sterling ILIADE DE L’ITON (2) who would be arguably preferred racing clockwise. HARLEY DELTO (5) returns to racing barefoot after having reassured earlier in the month and looks a respectable place prospect on Vincennes debut. IN LOVE REGLISSE (6) got back in the game recently and with shoes off can play a prominent role.

C7 – PRIX CETUS – 2850m (a2m) – Class C Race – Harness – EUR € 46,000 - LISBETH DRY – Won over 2840m on comeback in Mons 2.5 weeks ago. Has yet to finish a race here though and others easier to trust
- OVER THE LIGHT AS – Sanctioned in last 2, latterly 7 June race of reference. Has been out of sorts all year and will have few friends
- FAIR LADY GAR – Won 3 of last 4, most recently an amateurs event over 2060m in Turin on 11 May. Races barefoot this time and can expect to find the going tough
- READY HILL – Had a 2850m Class D at his mercy here earlier in the month only to be sanctioned. Sports modified shoeing this time and Benjamin Rochard will be determined to put things right
- FALSTAFF FONT – 3rd of 10 in a 2600m Gr.2 at Victoria Park on 14 June. Has yet to show any liking for Vincennes though and others preferred
- OLYMPUS DRAGON – Sanctioned in a 2600m Gr.2 at Victoria Park on 14 June. Freshly reconfigured for French debut but chances still slim
- ORANGE CRUSH – Inherited a well-deserved success 3 weeks ago when securing a Class D under the same conditions. Takes on some better horses this time but still looks a major player
- GOOGOO CASINO – Makes first start south of Scandinavia after running 3rd of 12 over 2140m at Mantorp late last month. Has never raced over this distance but with a leading driver reining should not be underestimated
- OPAL STONE – Ran a pleasant 4th of 13 in a Class D under these conditions 2.5 weeks ago. Will not be sent out at 39/1 this time but will not be as competitive either
- NGANNOU – Races at a more reasonable level after coming 6th of 15 in a 2700m Gr.3 here on 23 May. Faces a less-arduous task this time and winning this is well within his capacity
- FORCE OF NATURE – 4th of 10, a place behind FALSTAFF FONT (5) in a 2600m Gr.2 at Victoria Park on 14 June. Barefoot this time still looks a minor place chance at best
- FUTURO D’AMORE – Makes just 2nd foray into France after running 3rd of 8 over 1660m in Bologne early this month. Franck Nivard at the helm this time and must be respected
- FINLANDIA TOR – Quality filly starting for first time since finishing 8th of 11 in a Class A over course and distance in early-April. Is competitively-shod though and can get in on the action
- LITTERAIRE – Very hard to knock over past 2.5 months, most recently 2nd of 6 finishers to ORANGE CRUSH (7) in a Class D over track and trip 3 weeks ago. Enjoys a decent entry and will be competitive for a place in the frame
- LOVER JULMA – Made up for Nantes sanction when 2nd of 11 in a 2700m Class D here 2 weeks ago. Is nicely-engaged and, barefoot again, can figure prominently
- LINOTTE DU MOUCHEL – 5th of 11 in a 2175m Class C here 3 weeks ago. Benefits from a good entry but would be preferred over shorter
Summary: Respectable in a Gr.3 here late last month, NGANNOU (10) drops back down the class-ladder and looks thoroughly capable of winning a race of this nature. That said, ORANGE CRUSH (7) completed his hat-trick after imposing under these conditions earlier in the month and should again have a lot to offer. Runner-up to him that day, LITTERAIRE (14) will be reined by Eric Raffin this time and could well turn the tables. In the frame in 3 of his last 4 starts, GOOGOO CASINO (8) makes his Vincennes debut barefoot, with Mathieu Mottier in the bike, and a good hand to play.

C8 – PRIX THALIA – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class C Race – Harness – EUR € 46,000 - MUSE DU VALLON – Honest filly making first appearance since running 2nd of 9 in a 2825m Cordemais Class E in late-March but may just be a little race-rusty
- MERRY – 5th of 10 on re-entry in a 2175m Class B here on 3 June. Drops in category but others still preferred
- METIDJA – Out of the picture in last 2, latterly sanctioned in a 2175m Class B here on 3 June, and is not about to create an upset
- MARGOT PAROYO – Got off the mark in a 2875m Argentan Class E a month ago. Franck Nivard stays faithful and must not be underestimated on Vincennes bow
- MELINA SUPREME – Pleasant 5th of 10, on return from a break, in a 2950m Vichy Class B last week. Will have progressed for the race and can play a small role
- MALIKA DU SURF – Runner-up in a 2800m Pontchateau Class D 3 weeks ago but in this company will struggle to make her presence felt
- MY PRINCESS HAUFOR – Runner-up in 2 before coming 4th of 10 in a 2850m Class D here on 17 June. Will appreciate a return to the main track and is not going to be far off the mark
- MAGIE DU CHATAULT – Won her first 2 before coming 3rd of 5, just behind MALIKA DU SURF (6), in a 2800m Pontchateau Class D 3 weeks ago, but still looks the horse to beat
- MYRIAM D’AZUR – Oddly failed to deliver when 6th of 9 in a Class C under these conditions on 23 May. Unlikely to get her nose in front but can nevertheless finish in the mix
- MY LADY CASTELLE – Unraced since coming 3rd of 10 in a 2150m Enghien Class D on 11 March. Benjamin Rochard in the bike this time, benefits from a good entry, and looks main threat to MAGIE DU CHATAULT (8)
- MARILYN MONROE – 3rd of 10 in a 2950m Vichy Class C on 11 June. Never far from faulting but has ample ability and on good behaviour could pleasantly surprise
Summary: Rarely short of good youngsters in his yard, Thierry Duvaldestin sends out the promising MAGIE DU CHATAULT (8) who makes her Vincennes bow with a realistic chance of making it a victorious one. MY LADY CASTELLE (10) may not have been seen out since March but she is confirmed here and has good speed. MY PRINCESS HAUFOR (7) was by no means disgraced over the inner course 10 days ago, has placed over 2700m here, and should be good enough to finish close. MYRIAM D’AZUR (9) gives a good account of herself for the most part and is unlikely to disappoint.

Summary: MARCO NAY (4) ran well on debut at Mondoubleau earlier this month. This is a tricky race, but he gets a narrow vote to score. MORGANE DE HOERDT (7) fluffed her lines with a disqualification, but she had shown good form earlier in her career and is capable of winning. MAXIM D’HERTALS (9) showed improvement at Arras and could go one better this time. MIA JACK (1) qualified in a good time and would not be a surprise winner on debut.

L’IMPERATRICE (9) is very hard to trust but could be a threat if wise. LADY DU CEBE (2) seems better than her recent disqualifications and could contest the finish this time.
