- CAMPACITE – He has won two of his three races, the latter win was over 1600m in a Class 2 race at Saint-Cloud on July 9th. Player
- DORADO – Fair 4th at Saint-Cloud on his one run so far over 1500m on July 9th. He needs vast progress in a competitive race
- WAYBREAKER – He won narrowly on his debut at Deauville on August 3rd over 1500m. He should improve and appreciate the step up in trip
- FOCUS – Recent 4th in a Listed race over 1000m at Chantilly on June 1st after a win on debut over 1000m at the same track in May. Merits consideration
- BANDIAGARA – Ran with credit when upped in class at Deauville over 1400m in a Group 3 race on August 3rd, when he was fifth. Hard to rule out of the shake-up
Summary: WAYBREAKER (3) battled to get the job done when he won on his debut earlier this month over 1500m at Deauville. He will be sharper for that experience and is preferred ahead of CAMPACITE (1), who is improving with race experience. His success at Saint-Cloud in July was a step in the right direction. BANDIAGARA (5) was fifth in a Group 3 race 20 days ago at this track and should find this less taxing.

Summary: GALLIUS (2) is a versatile performer over various trips. He scored over 1300m on his last start at Deauville 9 days ago. He boasts strong form over this trip and can edge this from MABREGA (1), who got off the mark at Les Sables on August 7th in a handicap by two lengths. STUNNING HERO (4) was second four days ago at Deauville in a handicap and can be expected to have a say in proceedings. SHEARKAN (3) looks best of the others.

- HENRY THE LION – Recent solid effort to be 5th at this track on turf in a competitive Class 3 handicap only 6 days ago. He will not lack fitness and is well drawn in stall 2
- GAYLOR SENORA – Not seen since a 2nd at Saint-Brieuc over 1700m on May 29th in a Class 4 event. Track winner in November 2023. Others preferred
- CHARLESQUINT – Creditable 2nd at Deauville over 1900m in a Class 3 handicap on August 5th on the PSF. Honest gelding who can be on the premises
- NARCOS – Unplaced over 2000m at Deauville in a Class 3 handicap on August 17th, 2nd previously at Clairefontaine on August 2nd over 1800m. Can make the top four

- KER WELEN – Placed on his last three runs, 3rd over track and trip in a Class 4 race on August 9th on his most recent start. One to consider each-way
- HONEY BADGER – Two unplaced efforts since a win over track and trip in a Class 3 event on February 1st. He could make the frame at attractive odds
- STRAKO – He was 6th over track and trip on August 5th in a Class 2 handicap last time out, when not beaten far from the winner. Stall 15 is not ideal, but he warrants consideration
- NOOTKA BAY – Three unplaced runs of late, 2nd before that over track and trip in a Class 3 handicap on April 8th. Can make the frame at big odds
- BRAMANS – He won over 2100m in a claimer at Senonnes on August 2nd, when last seen. Track and trip winner in 2024. Capable if in the right frame of mind
- WINDBURN – 6th on her last run over 1800m at Clairefontaine on August 2nd in a Class 3 handicap. Others seem better equipped
- MISS CLAVEL – 4th on her last start over the track and trip in a handicap on August 12th. She lacks experience, and this will be challenging
- CHIAREGGIO – Three unplaced runs of late, well beaten over 1800m in a Class 3 handicap on August 2nd at Clairefontaine. Unlikely to be competitive
- ROYAL RIGHT – Three unplaced runs this year, poor run over 1600m in a Class 2 handicap on the turf at this racecourse on August 8th. One to watch for now
Summary: GOGUEN SPAISE (2) could be the answer to this competitive handicap. She ran a good fifth over course and distance when he was beaten around two lengths that day. He is not ideally drawn in 14, but is expected to be ridden with patience. HENRY THE LION (3) is well drawn in stall 2 and ran well on turf when fifth in a Class 3 race 6 days ago. He can feature as can SOEUR (7) arrives after three solid efforts on turf and can make an impact back on the PSF for only the second time. STRAKO (10) and NARCOS (6) are both each-way options, with the former having to deal with stall 15, which is not ideal.

- BIBBIENA – Two wins of late, the latest over 2800m in a Listed race at Parislongchamp on May 4th. Honest performer who is improving, although this is a stiff challenge
- SAXON GIRL – Solid win in a Listed race at Chantilly on June 15th over 2400m when last seen. Capable of making the top three
- DARE TO DREAM – She found the Group 1 ( Grosser Dallmayr- Preis at Munich -Riem (DEU) over 2000m a step too far last time on July 27th. Her win at Clairefontaine in a Class 3 race on July 11th was a good run, and she can be involved back against her own sex
Summary: LATAKIA (1) has won two of her three starts. Her success in a Listed race at Clairefontaine 21 days ago was a pleasing effort and she can score under Christophe Soumillon. DARE TO DREAM (6) found it too much when she was unplaced in the Grosser Dallmayr-Preis (Gr.1) against the colts and geldings in Germany late in July. Back against her own sex, she can be competitive. LE COMBAT CONTINUE (2) was second behind LATAKIA (1) at Clairefontaine and warrants respect.

- FATIMAT – Unplaced last time out, 4th before that over 1700m at Granville in a maiden race on June 8th. Opposable
- BRECKENBROUGH – Her UK form reads well, finishing runner-up on her latest outing over 1200m in a fillies’ handicap at Carlisle on July 10th. Now with a new trainer in France, but under the same ownership. Key chance
- SARTEANO – Unplaced on her last start over 1200m at Chelmsford (UK) on November 9th when trained in the UK. French debut and others preferred

- VICKY – Placed on all three runs, the latter over 1600m at Compiegne on July 24th in a maiden. One to pay attention to
- KIRA MS – Below par last time over 1400m at Prague (CZE) on July 26th. Unlikely to make an impact
- KISS ME AT SEA – Well beaten on the one run over 1600m in a maiden race on August 8th at Clairefontaine. Hard to fancy
- MEDITERANNIO – Promise when 5th on debut over 1600m at Clairefontaine on August 8th. She can improve and be a threat
- SECONDE BOHEMIENNE – Unraced by Kodiac, the dam was placed over 2000m. From a good stable that will have this filly nicely prepared. The betting patterns could indicate her expected performance
Summary: BRECKENBROUGH (4) showed plenty of talent when trained in the UK by Andrew Balding. Her second at Carlisle in early July in a fillies handicap was a pleasing effort. She can get off the mark at the expense of MEDITERANNIO (10), who ran with promise when fifth on debut earlier this month and can improve from that. SECONDE BOHEMIENNE (11) has a nice profile and should be well-tuned for her debut. VICKY (7) has been placed on all three runs and is hard to rule out.

- ZAHARO – Five unplaced runs of late, 8th on the latter over 1100m at Dieppe in a claimer on August 4th. Others seem better equipped
- AWJ – Placed on her last four starts, 3rd on the most recent at Vichy over 1000m in a handicap on August 4th. Capable of being on the premises
Summary: With good recent course form, TUDO BEM (3) could be the answer to this claiming event. The slight drop in trip should not deter his hopes of following up on success in a Class 2 handicap on August 16th. IMPITOYABLE (1) can make the selection work hard. He was a close-up seventh in a Class 1 handicap on this track 7 days ago and won over this trip at Dieppe on August 4th. KING ROBBE (2) should make the top three. AWJ (8) is another to pay attention to.

- ADWAN – Four unplaced runs of late, poor run over 1500m at Deauville on August 12th in a Class 3 handicap last time. Hard to recommend

- TRIPTAJIKA – Two good 2nd placed runs of late, the most recent at Le Touquet in a Class 4 handicap on August 17th. She can be involved at the finish
Summary: PIERRE LE GRAND (5) is the tentative selection in this Class 3 handicap. He has the luxury of leading jockey Christophe Soumillon on top and is given the slight edge over EFFIRA (12), who races off a good racing weight and has performed well on all four of her most recent starts. TRIPTAJIKA (13) looks like a good option for the each-way backers to latch on to, and PURPLE MOOD (9) is another that can be involved in proceedings.

- LE SAGE – 9th on his last run in late July, 2nd previously over 1800m in a Class 3 handicap at La Teste on June 26th. One to consider
- BROTHERS OF LILY’S – Fair effort to be 7th in a Class 4 race at this track on the PSF on August 9th. He won on turf in 2024 over 1400m. Player
- VENTS CONTRAIRES – Placed 4th on the last two runs, the most recent over 1900m in a Class 4 race at Deauville on August 9th. Outside place chance

- VERMELHO – Five unplaced runs this year, the latter over 1400m at Deauville in a Class 3 handicap on August 3rd. Unlikely to be a threat
- ESSAI TRANSFORME – Five unplaced runs of late, the latter over 1800m at Dieppe in a Class 4 race on August 4th. Look for an alternative
- CHIRIMIRI – He was 7th in a 1400m claimer at Parislongchamp on July 10th on his last start. He won a Class 2 handicap last season over 1400m and can play a lead role. Top rated, with the assistance of Maxime Guyon in the saddle, he can return to winning ways
Summary: CHIRIMIRI (11) was not disgraced when seventh in a claimer at Parislongchamp in early July and, as a Class 2 handicap winner last year, looks capable of returning to the winners’ enclosure with Maxime Guyon booked. BROTHERS OF LILY’S (5) rates a threat after shaping reasonably well on the PSF earlier this month and being a past turf winner. CROWDFUNDING (2) is a consistent type that warrants respect and makes appeal as a solid each-way option. EL RUBIO (3) looks best of the remainder.

- BEAUVALLON – 7th last time in a maiden race, 4th before that over 1600m at Nantes on July 3rd in a maiden race. Each way angle
- LE TOLIER – 7th on the last start over 1600m in a handicap at Vichy on July 18th. Needs to be more reliable

- NOVA GORICA – Ran well to be 2nd at Compiegne in a maiden over 1600m on July 24th. Handicap bow and can play a leading role
- THALIA – Placed 4th on her last two runs, the most recent at Vichy on August 7th in a claimer on August 7th. Has work to do
- SISSY DU GROHO – 5th on the one run this year at Les Sables in a maiden race on July 22nd over 1200m. Makes limited appeal
- ROOBA – Ran with promise when 3rd on her last start over 1600m at Compiegne on July 24th in a maiden race. One to keep safe on handicap debut
Summary: ROOBA (10) appeals from the foot of the weights. She has shown steady progress, and judged on her pedigree, she has plenty more to come. Her fourth at Compiegne on July 24th was a positive. NOVA GORICA (7) is a threat. She was second in the Compiegne race and has a useful claiming rider on top. BEAUVALLON (2) and EYWA (4) have both shown ability and can be involved at the business end in a race that lacks depth.

C1 – PRIX DE SAINT-MANDE – 2100m (a1m1/4) – Class F Amateur Drivers Race – Harness – EUR € 12,000
- JACKPOT D’ORGUEIL – By no means disgraced when 5th of 8 in a 2875m Enghien Class E on 19 July. Takes a big dip in category, has never failed to deliver under these conditions, and must be taken seriously
- IOKINA DE KERYANN – Last of 15 in a 2850m Brehal amateurs Class H on 11 August. Has won 3 of last 6 though, including over longer here, and will legitimately generate interest
- JACKPOT DE JUMILLY – 3rd of 6 finishers in a 2950m Saint-Malo Class E 2.5 weeks ago. Has been entrusted to Emilie Duperche and looks thoroughly capable of winning a race of this nature
- JET DE BUSSET – Put in a good finish to come 3rd of 10 in a 2725m Cabourg Class E 2.5 weeks ago. Enjoys a fine spot on front line and with hind shoes off could well impose
- ITHENA DE GAJUEL – Returns to Paris for first time in almost 4 years after running 5th of 10 in a 2625m Saint-Jean-de-Monts Class F early this month, but still not an obvious choice
- HEGA DES LANDIERS – 3rd of 11 in a 2475m Francheville monte Class H last Sunday but in this field has no possible chance
- IDEAL FOUR – Returns to the amateur division after coming 4th of 8 finishers in a 2550m Bacqueville-en-Caux Class H and will need to find considerably more
- HORACE DU VIVIER – Somewhat spirited lately but ran reassuring 2nd of 10 in a 2150m Enghien amateurs Class F 9 days ago. Forced to break wide but in this small field looks a decent place chance
- IMAKO VERDERIE – Makes amateur bow after running 5th of 14 in a 3125m Granville Class E on 3 August. Starts wide on front line and would be preferred barefoot
- JACQUOT DU DOME – Made it 3 straight eliminations when faulting in a 2750m Cabourg Class E 8 days ago. Won his last amateur event though and, shod to preference, can defy the draw and get in on the action
- JUMEIGE DE GODREL – Made it 5 straight eliminations after faulting in a 3100m Chinon Class F mid-month and can be confidently disregarded
- HESTIA DES PLAINES – Finds herself in better company after winning a 2700m Gramat amateurs Class H 3 weeks ago but appears to have her work cut out this time
- ISBA DU DOME – Back on a hard surface after being eliminated in a 2550m Bacqueville-en-Caux Class H mid-month. Handed an unfavourable draw but has solid amateur credentials and should not be ruled out
Summary: Solid in both starts since his spring break and confirmed under these conditions, JACKPOT DE JUMILLY (3) enjoys a terrific spot behind the car, sports 4 pads for the first time, and has every chance of making his amateur debut a victorious one. JET DE BUSSET (4) though appears to be close to his best, also sports modified shoeing, and looks the main danger. Faithful for the most part and proven in the amateur division, JACKPOT D’ORGUEIL (1) will be no pushover. HORACE DU VIVIER (8) tends to prefer the inner track but he thrives at this level and despite the draw still looks competitively well in.

C2 – PRIX DE MULHOUSE – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class E Amateur Riders Race – Harness – EUR € 37,000 - KRAC BOREAL – Quickly sanctioned, on return to competition, in a 2850m Mauquenchy Class F 2.5 weeks ago. Has merit but is going to need another run
- KIMONO DU CAIEU – Unremarkable 6th of 11 in a 2775m Class F at Les Sables-d’Olonne 2.5 weeks ago and is not about to create an upset
- KIWI DU BISSON – Pleasantly surprising 2nd of 5 finishers in a 2625m Cherbourg Class E on 17 July, but a repeat seems improbable
- KENTUCKY SCARLET – Back under harness, and more competitively shod, after being eliminated in a 2750m Cabourg monte Class F mid-August, but others still easier to trust
- KEEP TRUST – It took 18 months but returned to the winners’ circle after lifting a 2725m Class F at Miramont-de-Guyenne mid-month, but at this level will have little to offer
- KARCIMONT – Put a pair of eliminations behind him to run 3rd of 5 in a 2925m Cagnes Class D 9 days ago. Takes on a less-exalted bunch this time and with form maintained can wrap this up
- KEL DIABLO ERGEE – Steps up in category after dominating a 3100m Chinon Class F 8 days ago. Is new to Vincennes but is plainly in form and can play a part if he takes to the new conditions
- KENAVO PAROYO – 7th of 11 finishers in a 2725m Pornichet Class F 9 days ago. Has bags of ability but appears to have lost his way and must first reassure
- KOKO DU CANTER – Ran 2nd of 6 finishers to KELAS (10) in a 2600m Class E at Le Mont-Saint-Michel mid-July despite losing his action, but on better behaviour can turn the tables and challenge for the win
- KELAS – Imposed at Le Mont-Saint-Michel prior to faulting early in a 2750m Cabourg Class E a fortnight ago. Is plainly in excellent shape though and with application can again go close
- KING SUN DRALIAM – Last of 11 , after 3 months off, in a 2700m Avranches Class F on 5 August. Has decent Vincennes references and, competitively shod this time, can get in on the action
- KOME ON ERCA – Useful dual-discipline type that won a 2725m Pornichet monte Class F on 7 August. Won his only barefoot start under harness and must be taken at face value
- KHEOPS BOURBON – 8th of 13 in a 2875m Enghien Class E on 17 July. Benefits from a fine entry but has been disappointing this year and others preferred
- KAVANI – 3rd at La Capelle before running 6th of 11 in a 2850m Mauquenchy Class F 2.5 weeks ago. Trainer could not have hoped for a better entry and a spot in the frame is well within his capacity
Summary: KARCIMONT (6) held his own in good company at Cagnes-sur-Mer recently, placed on his only start under these conditions, and can win this if applied. He will still encounter resistance from KOKO DU CANTER (9) who just last month caught the eye in his new configuration, and KELAS (10) who had his measure that day before faulting at Cabourg next time. Sporting front pads for the first time since January, KAVANI (14) benefits from a wonderful entry and Killian Achard will be eager to take advantage.

C3 – PRIX DE LURY SUR ARNON – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class B Race – Harness – EUR € 52,000 - LYNYRD SKYNYRD – Secured his first goal of the season when successful in a 2875m Enghien Class C on 7 August. Steps up in category but has earned the right to compete in this company and can finish close
- LAST MAN – Comfortably imposed at Enghien before failing to deliver when 8th behind LOVE GLYCINES (4) in race of reference. Clearly has merit but is not a priority this time around
- LUTIN DE REUX – Finished valiant 7th of 14 behind LOVE GLYCINES (4) in a 2875m Enghien Class B late last month despite having been unsure of stride. On better behaviour can contest the finish
- LOVE GLYCINES – Hard to knock since the spring, latterly 3rd of 14 in a 2875m Enghien Class B late last month. Left a good impression that day and will justifiably garner support
- LYRIKO BELLO – Disappointing on the whole over recent months, latterly eliminated in a 2875m Enghien Class B late last month, and can expect to have few friends
- LORD DELO – Has not been seen out since dominating a 2850m Gr.3 here last January. Quite clearly means business and JMB will be expecting immediate confirmation. Claim
Summary: Armed with a third of this small field, the Bazire stable looks particularly dangerous, notably with LORD DELO (6) who is plainly primed for action. Stablemate LYNYRD SKYNYRD (1) appreciates Vincennes and showed his form at Enghien recently, but may first have to see off a barefoot LUTIN DE REUX (3) who raced better last time than the result would suggest.

C4 – PRIX DE DOLE – 2100m (a1m1/4) – Class D Race – Harness – EUR € 40,000 - LARA MAKS – Tenacious winner of a 2750m Cabourg Class E a month ago. Takes on a tougher challenge this time but is not incapable of getting a look in
- LOLITA – Won 3 on the trot before coming 3rd of 10 in a Class D under these conditions last February. Unseen since but has plainly been primed for action and can get straight down to business
- LUCIA DE BUSSET – Did not enjoy the best of trips in a 2150m Enghien Class D a month ago, coming last of 11 behind LAURENE DE BAILLY (4). Is significantly better than that though and the JMB-factor cannot be ignored
- LAURENE DE BAILLY – 9th of 12 behind LADY PRINCESS (6) in a 2875m Enghien Class D 9 days ago. Alexandre Abrivard in the bike this time but will have other priorities
- LIANGA – Returned to winning ways at Clairefontaine before running 6th of 11 behind LAURENE DE BAILLY (4) in a 2150m Enghien Class D a month ago. Has been entrusted to Eric Raffin for the first time and must not be underestimated
- LADY PRINCESS – Unthreatening 6th of 12 in a 2875m Enghien Class D 9 days ago and would be preferred at a lower level
- LYRIDE ORLOVE – Progressive filly that ran 6th of 10, on return to competition, in a 2150m Argentan Class D 2 weeks ago. Will have come on for the run and with Anthony Barrier in the bike, will be afforded a competitive drive. Place chance
- LA MISS ROYALE – Made amends for Enghien sanction when making short work of a 2850m Mauquenchy Class E on 24 July. Is new to 2100m here but can play a prominent role if Philippe Daugeard keeps her focused
- LATINA TOURNIBOIS – Got off the mark for 2025 in a 2400m Amiens Class E late last month. Is clearly in shape but has pulled a tough number and in this company will have her work cut out
- LA PERLA DE LOU – Got back in the game 2 weeks ago when 2nd of 11 in a 2150m Enghien Class E. Is new to Vincennes and while not a priority is still worth keeping an eye on
- LA KIFFANCE PIYA – Made it 3 in a row early last month in a 2300m Chateaubriant Class E. Completely unshod this time and despite the draw can still bring the fight to LOLITA (2)
Summary: Quite the revelation last winter, LOLITA (2) may not have been seen out since February but she is shod to preference for her comeback and is reunited with Benjamin Rochard who has already won with her. LA KIFFANCE PIYA (11) is forced to start from the rear but she makes her Vincennes debut on a 4-timer and, barefoot for the first time, could just oblige. LYRIDE ORLOVE (7) is not the most dependable but she has a race under her belt and is confirmed at the venue. Eye-catching winner at Mauquenchy a month back, LA MISS ROYALE (8) has been reconfigured for her return to Paris and must be afforded respect.

C5 – PRIX ALFRED LEFEVRE – 2850m (a2m) – Class A Race – Mounted – EUR € 90,000 - FALTO DES LANDIERS – Honest trotter that ran surprise 3rd of 7 finishers in a 2250m Enghien Class C 3 weeks ago but a repeat seems unlikely
- JUST FOR BACK – 3rd of 12 in a 2875m Enghien Gr.2, in 1’12″5, a fortnight back. Takes a notable dip in class and looks main rival to JE M’ENVOLE (3)
- JE M’ENVOLE – Would have finished close in a 2875m Enghien harness Class B late last month had he stayed in stride. Returns to code of preference in excellent shape and will be difficult to oppose
- HELIOT DE CAHOT – Encouraged at Hyeres but failed to confirm when 10th of 13 in a 3100m Nort-sur-Erdre harness Class A on 10 August. Has no monte references but with Anthony Barrier aboard, and reconfigured for the occasion, can get a look in
- SELF EXPLOSIVE – 12th of 14 over 2400m in Ostend a month ago. Unseen under the saddle since late-2023 and even though barefoot with Alexandre Abrivard in the irons is still not an obvious choice
- GOOD GIRL MARCEAUX – Capable on a good day but will need to show marked improvement on her last of 10 in a 2875m Enghien Gr.3 on 10 July
- HALFA – 4th of 12 in a 2300m Mons harness conditioner 2.5 weeks ago. Boasts solid credentials over 2850m on the main track and the engagement of Eric Raffin speaks for itself
- IN LOVE DU CHOQUEL – Serious sort starting for first time since running 3rd of 8 in a Gr.2 over course and distance late last November. Excellent even with shoes on and can figure prominently if sufficiently tuned up
Summary: After 4 return runs under harness, JE M’ENVOLE (3) is barefoot for his first objective of the season and with application will take all the beating. Principal opposition should likely come from JUST FOR BACK (2) whose recent Enghien performance did not go unnoticed, and the returning IN LOVE DU CHOQUEL (8) who boasts excellent references even when shod. Reunited with Eric Raffin after a pleasant Mons conditioner, and barefoot for the occasion, HALFA (7) is not easy to ignore.

C6 – YEARLING CUP 2025 – ARQANA TROT – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Gr3 Race – Harness – EUR € 150,000 - MAZAR DE VANDEL – Got off the mark at Le Mont-Saint-Michel before running 3rd of 7 in a 2950m Saint-Malo Class D 2.5 weeks ago, but is quite simply out of his depth
- MOONWALK D’HERIPRE – Sent for a rest after imposing at Nantes in May and most recently confirmed on re-entry, winning a 2500m Class D at La Rochelle earlier this month. Is unbeaten with Eric Raffin who will be trying to keep that fact relevant
- MUCHO CASH – Won a 2925m Cagnes Class D for new trainer 12 days ago. Jean-Michel Bazire reins this time but at this level may find the going somewhat tougher
- MIX D’ERONVILLE – Placed over course and distance before running 5th of 10 behind MISTRAL CASTELLE (9) in a 2700m Graignes Class B 2 weeks ago, but will need to find significantly more
- MARIANNA – Pleasant 2nd of 11 in a 2875m Enghien Class C on 27 July but takes on too much this time around
- MALVINA MADRIK – Reassuring 3rd of 4 finishers in a 2875m Enghien Class C 3 weeks ago. Put in a good finish that day and will have her trainer in the bike this time. Place prospect
- MAGICO DE LOU – Pleasant 4th of 7 in a 2875m Enghien Class B on 9 August but a repeat performance seems improbable
- MORE AND MORE – Was going well when eliminated in a 2725m Pornichet Class B 9 days ago. Benjamin Rochard gets the nod this time and will not be far off the mark if he keeps his colt focused
- MISTRAL CASTELLE – Has not put a foot wrong lately, latterly 3rd of 10 in a 2700m Graignes Class B 2 weeks ago. Faces a much stiffer test this time but should nevertheless hold his own
- MAGIC NIGHT – Made up for Enghien elimination when beating Mille Etoiles in a 2175m Gr.2 here last weekend and is the only horse that can legitimately oppose MACK DE BLARY (11)
- MACK DE BLARY – Facile winner of a 2875m Enghien Gr.3 on 2 August, his first start since February. Will appreciate a return to Vincennes and is in with a serious shout of repeating
Summary: A classy individual that dominated an Enghien Gr.3 on his recent return to competition, MACK DE BLARY (11) looks set to prove why his is the richest horse in the field. That being said, the complicated MAGIC NIGHT (10) just won a Gr.2 in 1’11″5 here last week and, with application, will be no soft touch. MORE AND MORE (8) is still a maiden and has never been tested in this class of company, but he has talent to burn and deserves to be taken seriously. Barring last month’s elimination, MALVINA MADRIK (6) has been a model of consistency and should find a more suitable pace this time.

C7 – PRIX PHACT – 2175m (a1m1/4) – Gr3 Race – Mounted – EUR € 80,000 - MY BLACK CADENCE – Unremarkable filly that was quickly eliminated in a 2875m Enghien harness Class B on 10 August and can be confidently ruled out
- MEPHISTO DU CLOS – Returns to his code of preference after finishing last of 11 in a 2725m Pornichet harness conditioner 9 days ago. Has never been tested at this level but has a lot of untapped potential and looks an interesting candidate
- MANOU DU CHENE – Last of 10 on comeback in a 2875m Enghien harness Class B a fortnight ago. Won a brace under the saddle before the break but appears to have a lot more to find
- MENTALIST AR – Has not been seen out since being eliminated in a Class A over course and distance on 10 June and already looks out of his league
- MONTANA WOOD – Eliminated in Prix d’Essai, then again in a 2875m Enghien harness Class B 2 weeks ago, and is unlikely to generate much interest
- MAGNOLIADARCHE – Put away after opening his account in a Class A under these conditions on 10 June. 9th of 10 on re-entry in a 2700m Graignes harness Class B 2 weeks ago but in this company is unlikely to spring any surprises
- MALICE CAILLERIE – Won a Gr.3 over 2700m here before being eliminated early in Prix d’Essai. Has bags of talent though and will be no pushover if Anthony Barrier keeps her focused
- MATIGNON – Has not been seen out since running 4th of 7 behind MELODY DE VIVOIN (10) in 2700m Gr.1 Prix d’Essai on 22 June. Caught the eye that day and looks principal danger to MHUM FLYNG (11)
- MISS DES BESACES – Outclassed last of 7 in Prix d’Essai, most recently 6th of 10 on re-entry in a 2700m Graignes harness Class B 2 weeks ago, and will have little to contribute
- MELODY DE VIVOIN – Surprise 2nd in Gr.1 Prix d’Essai before finishing last of 4 in a 2875m Enghien harness Gr.3 conditioner 3 weeks ago. Unlikely to get her nose in front but can still play a prominent part
- MHUM FLYNG – Eliminated after losing his action in 2700m Gr.1 Prix d’Essai on 22 June after having routed the opposition in the Gr.2 Prix Pierre Gamare at Caen. Comes here fresh and with application can return to winning ways
- MISTY GREEN – 6th of 7 in 2700m Gr.1 Prix d’Essai on 22 June before running 4th of 5 when prepping for this in a 1609m Enghien harness Gr.3 on 19 July. Is expected to be on the boil and, all going to plan, can make the frame this time
Summary: Gr.2 winner at Caen in may, MHUM FLYNG (11) was unsure of stride in the Prix d’Essai but has talent in spades, freshness on his side, and Victor Saussaye will be determined to set the record straight. MATIGNON (8) though ran 2nd in a Gr.2 under these conditions earlier in the spring before leaving an excellent impression in the Gr.1 Prix d’Essai in June. Second that day at 102/1, MELODY DE VIVOIN (10) will garner a lot more support this time and should again figure prominently, but she may first have to defer to MISTY GREEN (12) who is significantly better than her 6th place would suggest.

C8 – PRIX DE PROVENCE – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Gr3 Race – Harness – EUR € 90,000 - DIVA DEL RONCO – 9th of 11 in a 2150m Enghien Class E 10 days ago. Has done nothing of note for some time and is not about to start now
- KARAMBAR – 4th to KILLIAM FROMENTRO (5) in a Gr.3 here before being eliminated in a 2875m Enghien Gr.3 early last month. Is in conditioning-mode this time though and not a priority
- EDGAR SABA – Got back in the game on 5 July when 2nd of 11 in a 2875m Enghien Gr.3. Has placed just twice in 5 starts over course and distance though and cannot be regarded more than a minor place chance
- JAZZMAN (GER) – Ran a good 5th of 16 in a 3100m Vibraye Class D mid-month. Shod to preference this time, has previously beaten KILLIAM FROMENTRO (5), and is not incapable of doing so again
- KILLIAM FROMENTRO – Unable to pull off the 3-timer when somewhat disappointing 5th of 7 in a 2950m Vichy Gr.2 early last month. Has had time to recalibrate and with JMB in the bike will likely take all the beating
- JUST A MIDI – Imposed at Cabourg prior to running 3rd of 7 in a 2875m Enghien Class B in late-July. Left a good impression last time under these conditions and in current form is easy to like for a place on the podium
- JE REVE DU BOIS – Back under harness, and sports modified shoeing, after finishing 8th of 12 in a 2875m Enghien monte Gr.2 a fortnight ago. Has references at this level and should be able to finish in the mix
- INDIGO DE FONTAINE – 6th of 10 finishers in a 2875m Enghien Class B a month ago. Stays shod for this too and is not about to spice things up
- ISOFOU DU CHENE – Wonderfully consistent sort making first appearance since running 2nd of 12 in a 2100m Class B here in April. Shoes on and best to wait
- JEEGHA PRIDE – Put in a fine finish to run 7th of 13 on comeback in a 1609m Argentan Gr.2 a fortnight ago. Will have progressed for the race and is plainly in competition-mode. First 5
- JANGO VICI – Twice unplaced after winning a Le Croise-Laroche Gr.3 in May, latterly 7th of 15 in a 2875m Enghien Gr.3 early last month. Has had time to get his house in order though and with Benjamin Rochard reining should not be overlooked
- DIAMOND TRUPPO – Made short work of a 2000m Class B at Divonne-les-Bains on 11 August. Trainer could not have hoped for a better engagement and Clement Duvaldestin will be expected to deliver
Summary: Winner of 2 straight in Paris before failing to deliver in a Vichy Gr.2, KILLIAM FROMENTRO (5) drops down the class-ladder, has been reconfigured, and can impose this time. JMB will still want to be wary of the terrifically entered DIAMOND TRUPPO (12) who stormed up on his first start for the Duvaldestin stable, and JAZZMAN (GER) (4) who is shod as he was when winning a similar event here in May. The change of scenery has done a world of good for JUST A MIDI (6) who returns to Vincennes with a good hand to play.

- KYSTON DU VERNET – Fourth in a Claimer at Divonne-les-Bains over 2000m on 10 August. Others are much preferred in this line-up
Summary: KELLE (13) is better than her latest effort when displaying erratic behavior and with a shoeing change, she should be bang there at the finish. KAWASI JACK (7) arrives in solid form having notched up her second victory for the year last time out and with a clear run in transit, she will play a leading role. KARLTON DE JOUX (2) needs to be forgiven for her performance last time out and will be suited by the drop in trip which should see her being competitive. KHOSIAB (10) brings the right type of credentials into a race of this nature and is likely to be concerned at the finish.

- HOUPETTE ROSE – A runner-up in a class F at this track over 2650m on 22 July. Remains barefoot. Track-suited and has leading claims
Summary: HOUPETTE ROSE (10) is in terrific form having just missed out on that hat-trick bid last time out and with a clear run through could likely prove hard to beat. HARLEQUIN (9) met stronger last time out and will appreciate this drop in company as well as a shoeing change which could see him providing the biggest threat. HELMA DE BUSSET (8) is a fairy consistent performer who seems to find her feet nicely at this track and should be involved. ILLUSION DE CHENU (2) has been in rather steady form and another consistent run is on the cards.

LE GRAND MASSIF (7) has been showing signs of life again with a couple of encouraging efforts and could be primed to produce a big run. LEJACK DERIG (1) has had to settle for second best at two of his last three and with a bit of luck he can go one better.
