C1 – PRIX ANDRE CHOISSELET – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class E Race – Mounted – EUR € 35,000

  1. MIKJU – A three-year-old gelding by Rockfeller Center out of Hastiaras who is making his debut. Dam was unraced. Watch the betting
  2. MAKE FOR JUMP – Disqualified last time out in a Class E mounted race at La Capelle over 2000m on 6 July. Could be a threat if wiser this time
  3. MOUFFY – Has major disqualification issues and faulted last time out at Cabourg over 2750m on 29 July. Probably best watched for now
  4. MAMBO DE LA VALLEE – Disqualified in his first four starts but he was victorious last time out in a Class F mounted race at Cabourg on 8 August. Can follow up if wise
  5. MOZART DES BORDES – Has some fair form in harness races and was not disgraced when 5th in a Class E harness race at Meslay-du-Maine over 1875m on 15 August. Has been disqualified in both mounted races
  6. MARVEL MESLOIS – Yet to win a race but has been running well of late and finished fourth in a Class E mounted race at Cabourg over 2750m on 19 August. Can contest the finish
  7. MARVEL DE CRISTAL – Yet to win a race and was tenth in a harness claimer at Enghien over 2150m on 14 August. Unreliable but might play a minor role
  8. MADE IN LOVE PASS – Kept to harness races so far and finished third in Class E at Amiens over 2400m on 30 July. Consistent and could be a threat trying a mounted race
  9. MAINTENANTOUJAMAIS – Unbeaten in two starts, the latest in a Class E mounted race at Pornichet-La Baule over 2725m on 11 July. Can complete his treble
    Summary: MAMBO DE LA VALLÉE (4) put in a much better effort when scoring at Cabourg earlier this month. He had a string of disqualifications before that but can win again. MAINTENANTOUJAMAIS (9) is unbeaten in two starts and can follow up when trying the Paris region this time around. MADE IN LOVE PASS (8) has held his form well without winning a harness race and must be respected under the saddle. MAKE FOR JUMP (2) blew the start on debut but is expected to be a lot smarter this time and can contest the finish.

  13. NOVO SUPREME – Showed some improvement when 6th in Class D at Enghien over 2250m on 30 July. More is needed to beat these rivals
  14. NECTAR D’AVIGNERE – A runner-up in both starts, the latest in Class F at Ecommoy over 2225m on 20 July. Can go one better
  15. NAOS DES MARETTES – Showed promise on his debut when runner-up in Class D at Enghien over 2250m on 23 July. Should fight it out
  16. NAMARETTI DEVOL – Has improved with each start and was victorious in Class E at Cabourg over 2050m on 5 August. Can double up
  17. NAPOLITANO VERO – Has shown promise and was victorious in a Class e harness race at Bréhal over 2325m on 27 July. Can follow up
    Summary: NAPOLITANO VERO (8) was runner-up on debut to a very good sort and looked promising when scoring at Bréhal on turf. Clearly the one to beat. NECTAR D’AVIGNÈRE (5) has finished runner-up twice already and will not go down easily once again. NAZARINO (2) was set to contest the finish in both starts so far before faulting and can be a threat if staying in stride. NAOS DES MARETTES (6) found only one too good on debut and is another to consider.

  21. LUCKY DU BOUFARD – Has struggled of late and was 9th in a Class E mounted race at Cabourg over 2750m on 1 August. Capable of better, but others make more appeal
  22. LOUXOR DE JOUB – Has struggled this year and was disqualified last time at Cabourg over 2750m on 1 August. Probably best watched for now
  23. LITTLEKING FOXGLEN – Unreliable but was runner-up in Class D at Carentan over 2850m on 15 August. Capable of a suprise when wise
  24. LORD SMART – Has disqualification issues and finished 7th in a Class C mounted race at this track over 2175m on 8 February. Has won over this course and distance and is not out of it
  25. L’ONCLE SAM – Did not show his best when unplaced in a Class B harness race at Cherbourg over 2600m on 18 August. Better under the saddle and can make the frame
  26. LITYGE DE CYM – In good shape and was runner-up in a Class F mounted race at Cabourg over 2750m on 15 August. Should be competitive again
  27. L’EXPERT – Kept to harness races so far and was disqualified last time out at Bréhal over 2850m on 11 August. Can be very competitive trying a mounted race
  28. LUSSABEAU – Yet to win a race and finished 9th in a Class D mounted race over this track and trip on 20 June. More is needed to win a race
  29. LEADER DE SEVRE – Has improved of late and was victorious last time out in a Class D mounted race at Le Mans over 2950m on 26 July. Can follow up
    Summary: L’EXPERT (10) has had disqualification issues in harness races but has shown some talent. Switching to a mounted race could suit, and he gets the vote to score. LEADER DE SÈVRE (12) has been more consistent since racing barefoot and can follow up on his recent win at Le Mans. LORD SMART (7) is not reliable but is best judged on his course-and-distance win in his penultimate start. LUTHER (3) is very hard to trust but can be a danger when completing the race.

    Summary: MOUFFETARD (5) has been impressive since faulting on debut. This is his first run at Vincennes, but he sets a high standard and should win. MONTEQUILLO (9) has been unreliable but is capable of winning good races when in the right mood. MISTI DE CORDAY (8) has landed two solid wins of late and can complete a hat-trick. MILAN (3) is not reliable but is coming off a confidence-boosting win and must be respected for that.

  44. LEGACY JIEL – Has some fair form and was not disgraced when 5th in Class E at Cabourg over 2725m on 8 August. Better when barefoot and has leading claims
  45. LIPTON LATAL – Unreliable but did run well when fourth in Class C at Les Sables-d’Olonne over 2775m on 2 August. Can make the frame
  46. LOIC D’AVEL – Returned to form and was barefoot and third in Class D at Carentan over 2850m on 15 August. Has won with this shoeing and is not out of it
  47. LANSKY VALLEE – Has struggled of late and was tenth in Class C at Toulouse over 2950m on 4 April. Could need this run returning from a break
  48. LION SUR MER – Has some fair form of late and was not disgraced in Class F at Carentan over 2850m on 15 August. Did win some nice races earlier this year and should be very competitive
  49. LE POETE BOURBON – Has major disqualification issues and was disqualified last time out at this track on 20 June. Hard to trust and others are preferred
  50. L’INTOUCHABLE – Has been a disappointment this year and finished 7th in Class D at Cabourg over 2050m on 15 August. More is needed to win
    Summary: LEGACY JIEL (6) put in a good perfomance at Cabourg earlier this month. He is better barefoot and should make a bold bid at scoring. LION SUR MER (10) has not been disgraced of late. He did better earlier this year and should be a real threat in this line-up. LE RETOUR VRIE (5) seems over his disqualification issues and would not be a surprise winner. LOIC D’AVEL (8) has won over this course and distance with this shoe arrangement.

  56. JERZINHO SPORT – In good shape and finished runner-up in Class F at Avranches over 2700m on 5 August. Be right there at the finish
  57. JUNGLE GREEN – On a long losing run but was not disgraced when 5th in Class F at Enghien over 2150m. Capable of making the frame
  58. JUNON DE LOU – Disappointing form of late and finished 8th in Class E at Sablé-sur-Sarthe over 2825m on 10 August. Barefoot and did win the last time when barefoot
  59. JOLIE INDIENNE – Unreliable but was barefoot and third in a Class E mounted race at Vibraye over 3100m on 15 August. Better that distance and others make more appeal
  60. JEALOUS GIRL – Bounced back to form with a Class F win at Enghien over 2150m on 10 August. Barefoot and could earn some money
  61. JOPLIN DES CROUAS – Has disqualification issues and was 6th last time out in Class D at Cabourg over 2725m on 8 August. Barefoot this time but others are preferred
  62. JOHORE – Holding form and finished third in Class F at Châtelaillon-La Rochelle over 2500m on 28 July. Can be competitive in this line-up
  63. IVALO DU BOCAGE – Has struggled all year and was unplaced last time out in Class H at Bacqueville-en-Caux over 2550m on 10 August. Others make more appeal
  64. JOY JENILOU – Disappointing last run when 8th in Class F at Saint-Malo over 2950m on 6 August. Capable of better and is not out of it
    Summary: JUNKIES MINDS (4) is at his best when racing barefoot. He also has a good record over this course and distance and could resurface with a victory. JACOMO BELLO (1) showed improvement earlier this month and has already won here over a similar trip. JERZINHO SPORT (6) is in good form and can be involved in the finish once again. JUNGLE GREEN (7) is looking to end a long losing run and cannot be ruled out.

  80. GEGE BAROQUE – Has struggled of late and finished 6th in Class B at Divonne-les-Bains on 11 August. Needs to find a few lengths to win
    Summary: An interesting Quinté race. GIANT MADRIK (8) has had health problems and is coming off a disqualification, but he has run well at this course in the past and can score. FAVICI PASMARICK (15) has been holding his form very nicely and should be right there at the finish once again. ETHAN DRIVE (12) has disqualification issues but is barefoot and capable of winning at this track. GLYCINA BELLA (3) showed improvement at Châtelaillon-La Rochelle last month and is one of several who can be involved at the finish. FALCOM DU BOCAGE (5) pairs up with a top-driver and cannot be discounted.

    Summary: KID PARKER (2) has not been at his best at this track but arrives here in very good form and sets the standard for the race. KINGSMAN D’EOLE (6) remains in good form and should be a threat in this lucky last. KONG D’HOLLOW (9) can follow up on his good barefoot win at Enghien last month. KALINE DU JOUR (7) is very hard to trust but is capable of getting involved at the finish when in the right mood.

  4. BALTA – Fair 3rd at Deauville over 1300m in a claimer on August 21st. He has plenty of experience and can make the frame
  5. HAYANDEE – Two 4th placed efforts of late, the latter over 1200m in a claimer at Aix Les Bains on July 13th. One to pay attention to
  6. LUCKY CHOP – Placed 3rd on all four starts, the latest over 1400m in a claimer at Compiegne on June 6th. He was 3rd on debut over track/trip in April in a Class 3 race and can get off the mark this time
  7. EL TORO GRIS – Four unplaced efforts, the latter over 1200m in a claimer at Deauville on August 14th. Opposable
  8. BELLA JOSEPHINE – She has been unplaced on all four starts, 8th at Vichy over 1600m in a claimer on her last run on August 13th. Look elsewhere
    Summary: LUCKY CHOP (6) has consistent form with four placed efforts. He was third over track and trip on his debut in April and has shown enough to take a race of this quality. ANESIDORA (1) scored on debut over track and trip when beating the main selection into third that day in April. On 3 kilos worse terms, it favours the former. HAYANDEE (5) has each-way claims, and BALTA (4) looks best of the remainder.

  9. MISTER YVES – Fair 4th over 2400m at Le Lion D’Angers on August 3rd over 2400m in a conditions race. One to pay close attention too
  10. MADETOJUMPBELLEVUE – Unraced gelding by Born To Sea, the dam won twice, on the flat and over hurdles. Looks good on paper and can make the frame
  11. MARIUS – Gelding by Bathyrhon, the dam won two races over jumps. Stable runners tend to need a run or two for experience. The betting can be the best guide
  12. MAJOR – Unraced gelding by Headman, the dam was placed several times on the flat. One to watch on his racecourse debut, unless the betting market speaks volumes
  13. MUSICAL – Unraced by Chanducoq, the dam won over hurdles and fences. Stable runners are well-tuned, and a bold show is expected
  14. MEGALO DE SIVOLA – Unraced by Victory Song, the dam was placed over hurdles. Likely to need this run and is best watched for now
  15. MAGIC TRILLION – Ran with promise when 7th at Compiegne on April 7th over 3200m in a Class 2 hurdle. She can improve and have a say in proceedings now on the flat
    Summary: MUSICAL (5) can get off to a winning start over 2400m in this conditions race. He will be well prepared by his astute trainer. MISTER YVES (1) ran a nice race when he was fourth at Le Lion D’Angers earlier this month and can make the selection work hard. MAGIC TRILLION (7) showed ability when she was seventh over hurdles at Compiegne in a Class 2 race in April and can be involved. MADETOJUMPBELLEVUE (2) is also worth a mention.

  18. MOURAT – Two unplaced runs, 6th at Dieppe over 2200m in a maiden last time out. He is capable of being on the premises
  19. CALLISTO DU NORD – Good 2nd on debut at Clairefontaine on July 2nd over 2400m. He will know more this time and can feature
  20. METS LE FEU – 5th on the one run over 1600m at Lignieres on November 30th. He will likely improve for this run after an absence
  21. M’GLAMOUR – Placed on her last two runs, 3rd at Vittel over 2100m in a maiden race on July 25th, when last racing. Might find a few of these too smart
  22. YULIA – Placed on all three runs, 3rd on the latest over 2400m at Compiegne on June 16th in a maiden race. Player
  23. ZEN – Fair effort to be 4th at Clairefontaine on August 6th over 2400m. She can improve and make the top three
  24. SESTRIEM – Unraced by Siyouni, the dam was placed over 1500m. Full-brother to the Top-Class Sottsass ( Prix Du Jockey Club Gr.1, Prix Ganay Gr.1, and Prix De l’Arc De Triomphe Gr.1) winner. Bold show expected on debut
  25. REBEL LION – Unraced gelding by Le Rebel, the dam won 4 races. He will likely need this run for experience. Others preferred
  26. BLISTRO – Unraced colt by Latrobe, the dam never ran. Stable runners warrant respect. Monitor the betting patterns for any support
  27. KAYSA – Filly on debut by Galiway, the dam won two races over middle distances. Worth a market check for any support
  28. MADAMA – Unraced filly by Postponed, the dam won on debut over 1900m. She will likely need this run for experience unless she is supported in the betting, which could be a good guide to expected performance
    Summary: SESTRIEM (9) has an impeccable profile. He is a full-brother to the mighty Sottsass, ( Prix Du Jockey Club Gr.1, Prix Ganay Gr.1, and Prix De l’Arc De Triomphe Gr.1) winner. He will be well-tuned and can make a winning debut. YULIA (7) could be the main threat. She has been placed on all three start. Her latest third was over 2400m at Compiegne in June.     Summary: A good finisher behind the winner on his debut, ALHAMA RIVER (2) should confirm the form of that race. With a 2kg advantage over the selection, debutant WAPEKA (9) will try to do as well as his dam, Wekeela, who was a high-level performer from the start of her career, before shining at Group level.
