Summary: NORTH SHORE (5) delivered a sparkling second straight out the maiden win and looks to have all the right accolades in him to claim his second career win in just his third start. TALGAT (2) broke his maiden spell in his second start and may be filled with confidence now to continue his positive traits. SIECLE D’OR (4) produced an admirable second last time out and if the top two are caught asleep, he could very well awaken them. KARLA JET (7) won on debut and looks a livewire in her second start. Summary: ZELZARA (1) has been a respectable earner since her post maiden win and does look like she can claim her second career win in this field. DONNALUCATA (2) needs to be given consideration when finishing fifth in a Listed and looks the lively danger to the top choice. Supplemented WADI (3) is a decent bred colt and if he is ready for his debut, he will be major competitive. Supplemented Just Inspiration (5) has a good place chance.

Summary: TROPHANE (5) produced a cracking run finishing second last time out and certainly poses as the horse to beat in this small field. GENERALAY (2) improved into third in his last run and can improve even more in this field to finish closer into the shakeup. - INTREPIDE DES BOIS – Disqualified at Cherbourg on 18 August. Fair form before that and could sneak into a minor placing at best
- ILMENITE – In good form and was runner-up in Class G at this track over 2725m on 14 August. Knocking at the door, and could go one better
- ILTON DU BRAY – Showed improvement and was barefoot and 3rd in a Class G harness race at this track over 2725m on 14 August. Very consistent and could earn money
- IVA ROYALE – Finished 6th in a Class D harness race at Enghien over 2875m on 3 August. Capable of better and has leading claims
- IVAN DE L’ERDRE – Showed some improvement and was runner-up in a harness race at this track over 2750m on 7 August. Must have some outside place chance in this field.
Summary: IVARUN (7) has been at the top of his game this year and scored on turf at Sablé-sur-Sarthe earlier this month. He can double up. IVA ROYALE (14) has yet to win this year but is capable of contesting the finish. INCREDIBLE GO (3) is better than his last run suggests and can return to winning ways. ILMENITE (12) is in good shape and can be involved at the finish once again in a competitive-looking race.

Summary: JALONA (5) was very unlucky at Châtelaillon-La Rochelle earlier this month. She can bounce back and win with Eric Raffin in the saddle. Summary: A very competitive lucky last race. MEXXIT CALENDES (4) fluffed his lines on debut but nearly won his second start and gets a narrow vote to score. MINOU D’ECHAL (8) steps up in trip after finding one too good on debut at this course and must be respected for that. MOUSKO DU LUPIN (5) did little wrong on debut and is capable of winning. MACHA DE CAHOT (10) was competitive in both her starts and is clearly not out of it.
