Horse Racing Tips:Nap of the Day

KALOKALO – 3.20 Leicester (NAP)
He’s started at 8/1, 28/1 and 33/1 in three outings to date and KALOKALO is an interesting handicap debutant.
He slots into this contest off the ceiling rating of 60 and was an eyecatcher on his final qualifying run, staying on under hands and heels into third behind Queen Tamara. He promises to improve for this switch into nurseries and Billy Loughnane takes over in the saddle.
LOOKS LIVELY – 3.10 Catterick
She left previous form behind when second on handicap debut at Chepstow and LOOKS LIKELY is taken to open her account.
Hugo Palmer’s filly ran around off the bride when touched off by Highlighting, her rider reporting the daughter of Showcasing ran green. It was still by some way a career best though, Jason Hart replaces an apprentice and first-time cheekpieces should aid her concentration.
JUGGERNAUT – 4.30 Newton Abbot
He’s progressive over hurdles and JUGGERNAUT is fancied to make a winning chasing debut.
In good hands, he starts over the larger obstacles two ponds higher than when second to Turpin Gold at Newton Abbot. He’s open to plenty of improvement, Sam Twiston-Davies rides and main market rival Barranco needs to bounce back from a disappointing run over hurdles last time and can be very free in his races. The very weak pace forecast isn’t in his favour.
ZAMBEZI MAGIC – 6.25 Ffos Las
He boasts four course-and-distance victories to his name and ZAMBEZI MAGIC is selected to make it five at Ffos Las.
He wasn’t at his best here under a patient ride last time, running out of racing room in a slowly-run race. If going forward again today he’s handicapped to go close in a moderate contest.
LUNANOVA – 6.45 Carlisle
Carlisle is a very different track to Brighton where LUNANOVA has been doing her recent winning but still this thriving filly is hard to oppose.
Successful in three of her last four starts, she’s well treated under a six-pound penaltu for her four-and-a-quarter lengths defeat of Dragonflame last time and the assessor may need a little more time to properly catch up with her.
