A dual Group 1 winner, KYT KAT (8) had a good comeback run under harness and returns to his preferred discipline with every chance. KAPAULA DE L’EPINE (7) is another one who switches back to a mounted race and must be respected. KARAKA WOOD (5) is not devoid of ability and could spring a surprise on debut in this code.

Summary: A winner of eight of her eleven starts, LIZA JOSSELYN (16) is a top-class filly that will go on to very big things as she gets older. But just on current form, she looks hard to oppose in this prestigious contest. Both LANCIER DU GOUTIER (11) and LOVINO BELLO (18) are highly talented and come from the top yard of Thierry Duvaldestin so they must be closely monitored. LOMBOK JIEL (17) has not run unshod since last January and should have a big say at the business end. HM HAFID (6) was also tested in a Group race for Arabians at his latest outing and will be a force to be reckoned with here. His prior form was encouraging and he could pick up the pieces. Summary: LOIN DE D’LA (3) has produced two pleasing runs to date and looks to be just about ready to win in this event. She meets the right opposition and with a clean round of jumping, she could be in the number one box. A TRIBORD (8) makes her hurdling debut on the back of a success on the flat and she could just build on that promising introduction over the jumps for the first time. MEDELIA (6) put her best foot forward last time out to land the spoils and with weight off the back, she could be one worth including. FANCY DU PECOS AA (5) may have needed her first outing for the year and will certainly strip a fitter horse which could see her earning.

Summary: AMELIELYMPIQUE (6) went over 2800m which could have been too far for her. She ran a cracking second over the course and distance in her penultimate and if she repeats that run, she could certainly score. AVERNES (8) ran a solid second over the distance last time and must be given serious acknowledgement. - NAOS MOON – Last of ten on debut at Lyon-Parilly over a mile on 3 September. Has too much to find and can easily be passed over

- ZARAXIA – Newcomer by Zarak and out of a dual Group 3 winning mare. Half-sister to Trixia de Vega who is a Listed winner. Must be closely monitored

He has plenty more to offer and gets the vote. FRENCH COLORADO (1) has a similar profile to the selection and should also be a huge contender. - GOLDEN BREEZE – Finished 6th of 7 in a maiden at Dieppe over 1100m on 4 August. First time in a claimer and can redeem herself
Summary: A winner in March over 1000m, GOLDEN BREEZE (8) has failed to confirm that form since, but she drops for the first time in a claimer under a very light weight and surely has a huge part to play. ASTREA (2) is not devoid of ability but is on a redemption mission after her last two below-par efforts. NOCTURNE BLOU (3) generally fares well in this division and has been supplemented for a good reason. CHARMING CAT (1) is better than the last run suggests.

INFLUENCE JULRY (12) bounced back to winning form in style last time in a lower grade race and can step up in class successfully.
