R1 VINCENNES [L-H]
C1 – PRIX DE DANGEUL – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class B – Harness – EUR € 52,000
- MILORD D’IRAI – Modest individual that ran 6th of 7 in a 2875m Enghien Class C in early-August and can expect to have few takers
- MAGNUM – Would have finished a close 2nd of 10 in a 2850m Class C here early this month had he not started to amble in the final strides. Takes to the main track for the first time and can play a leading role
- MOONWALK D’HERIPRE – Drops down the class-ladder after running 5th of 11 in a Gr.3 over course and distance on 23 August. Could even have finished closer that day, and in this company is easy to fancy for the spoils
- MISTER PARKER – Won both since returning from a spell, latterly a 2750m Cabourg Class D late last month. In better company this time but is reunited with Mathieu Mottier who won with him in Mauquenchy and must be respected
- MORE LOVE DUCAMPUS – Just missed out at Enghien before comfortably winning a 2750m Class B at La Capelle 2.5 weeks ago. Looks versatile enough to deal with the main track here and is easy to fancy for a place on the podium
- MY NAME IS BOND – Unplaced in last 2, most recently last of 8 in a 2950m Vichy Class C a fortnight ago, and even with Alexis Collette in the bike will struggle to make his mark
- MEA CULPA – Opened his 2025 account when victorious in a claimer over course and distance on 2 September but will have more to find this time
- MAESTRO – Dependable colt that has been knocking at the door lately, lastly 2nd of 10 in a 2750m Cabourg Class C on 12 August, and is unlikely to return home empty-handed
- MAESTRO JAMINI – By no means disgraced on re-entry when 4th of 10 in a 2850m Class C over the short course here on 1 September. Has had time to come on and with David Thomain in the bike will be competitive at the business end
- MUSCDARCHE – Sent for a break after securing the hat-trick in a 2850m Lyon-Parilly Class B 5 months ago and is not going to be given a hard race
- MANHATTAN JIEL – Handy element that finished 8th of 10 to MORE LOVE DUCAMPUS (5), on return to competition, in a 2750m Class B at La Capelle 2.5 weeks ago, but will have other ambitions
- MISTRAL DU BOIS – Finished an honourable 5th of 9 in a Class A over course and distance on 25 August. Will be better suited to this category and Damien Bonne will be eager to take advantage of the fine entry. First 5
Summary: A winner on re-entry at La Rochelle, MOONWALK D’HERIPRE (3) then went on to run 5th in a Gr.3 sales race here a month back, and can wrap this up if Eric Raffin assures his charge’s initial strides. Although sanctioned as often as not, MAGNUM (2) is not lacking in the talent department and can make a big splash if he stays focused. Stablemate MORE LOVE DUCAMPUS (5) has been progressing nicely and will have a lot to offer if he takes to the new surroundings. MAESTRO JAMINI (9) may not always be the easiest to handle but his comeback run did not go unnoticed and must be taken seriously.

C2 – PRIX DE BAGNERES – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class A – Mounted – EUR € 62,000 - MONSTER SPEED – Won nicely at Enghien before being eliminated in a Class C over course and distance on 1 September. Is no slouch but still seems to be taking on too much
- MISTER DU BAS BOSQ – Well-beaten last of 4 finishers to MORPHEUS DU LOISIR (13) in a Class C over track and trip early this month, and is unlikely to generate much interest
- MACK DAIRPET – 2nd of 9 to MAORI NUEVO (10) in a 2200m Class C here mid-August. Put in a good effort that day but needs to take his game to the next level
- MANOU DU CHENE – Takes a dip in category after having been eliminated in 2175m Gr.3 Prix Phact here on 23 August. Has previously won under these conditions but will first need to reaffirm
- MISSY DE JIEL – Encountered no opposition en route to victory in a Class C under these conditions on 2 September. Just keeps on progressing and can confirm
- MINA DRY – Eliminated, on return to competition, in a Class A over course and distance a fortnight back. Has talent to burn and will be no pushover if she stays in stride
- MANITAS DE TRUCHON – Well-regarded filly but has not been seen out in since faulting in a Gr.1 over course and distance 3 months ago, and is going to need the race
- MEPHISTO DU CLOS – Drops back in category after coming a courageous 5th of 7 finishers in a 2175m Gr.3 here a month ago. Is not about to lose his maiden tag but should still play an active role
- MENTALIST AR – Eliminated on re-entry in 2175m Gr.3 Prix Phact here on 23 August and will have nothing to offer
- MAORI NUEVO – Won on monte debut at Enghien then comfortably repeated in a 2200m Class C here mid-August. Tackles main track for first time but is a thorough professional and the 3-timer is not out of the question
- MONTANA WOOD – Eliminated in last 3, latterly when going well in a 2175m Gr.3 here on 23 August. Has no shortage of ability though and it is just a question of time before he gets back in the game
- MADAME CHENU – Secured the hat-trick in a 2200m Class C here on 20 August. In much better company this time but will still give everything she has
- MORPHEUS DU LOISIR – Won under harness at Enghien before dominating a Class C over track and trip early this month. Will have progressed for the run and is in with a realistic shout of winning this too
- MANIGOD – Last of 8 on comeback in a Gr.2 over track and trip 9 days ago. Will have progressed somewhat but still has more to find
Summary: An excellent future prospect, MISSY DE JIEL (5) made short work of her Vincennes, and left-handed, debut earlier this month and even though taking a notable step up in category, still looks the one to beat. Mehdi Lelièvre will nevertheless be mindful of MORPHEUS DU LOISIR (13) whose recent monté bow was simply superb, and MAORI NUEVO (10) who is 2 for 2 under the saddle. Gr.3 Prix Holly du Locton winner, MINA DRY (6) will be dangerous if Alexis Collette manages to keep her trotting.

C3 – PRIX FRANCE ALZHEIMER (PRIX DE BAYEUX) – 2850m (a2m) – Class D – Harness – EUR € 40,000 - LUCKY MESLOIS – Won 2 on the trot before finishing a surprising last of 8 to LIVE YOUR DREAMS (6) in a 2700m Class E here late last month. Should not be hastily-condemned though as his trainer will be determined to put things right
- LOIR ET CHER – 8th of 10 over 2300m in Mons 12 days ago. Has 2 races under his belt since the spell but still not an obvious choice
- LOOKING D’AURCY – Complicated but capable type making first start since running 3rd of 7 in a 2100m Class D here last December, and can be overlooked
- LOULOU DAB – Serious element but has not been seen out since running 2nd of 15 in a 2700m Class D here in February, and will need the run
- LITTLE DRAGON – Unsurprisingly eliminated in a 2175m Class C here in early-June. Has been a write-off since late last year and has no possible chance
- LIVE YOUR DREAMS – Facile winner of a 2700m Class E, on first start here, on 27 August. Takes on a better bunch this time but is patently in rude health and with application can confirm
- LAKOS DE BERLES – Steps up in category after winning a 2100m Class E here a fortnight ago, but has done nothing but improve over the past month and has the capacity to make first 5
- LOOK MESLOIS – Finished 2nd of 14, despite running nose to the wind, in a 2050m Cabourg Class D on 26 August. Benjamin Rochard in the bike this time and it would be no surprise to see him win this
- LUCKY DE CALVI – Ran 5th of 11 in a 2700m Class D here early this month before being disqualified for interference. Always gives his best and while not a priority is still worth keeping an eye on
- LUCIANO VREDEBEST – 4th of 10, on first start since the spell, over 2600m in Victoria Park 10 days ago. Is confirmed over the main track and can challenge for a place in the picture
- LUXE D’ERABLE – Returns to racing left-handed after coming 3rd of 12 in a 2750m Ecommoy Class E 3 weeks ago. Well-engaged close to the limit of earnings and David Thomain can be quietly confident
Summary: Even though eliminated more often than not, LOOK MESLOIS (8) has turned a corner this term and should have the wherewithal to win a race of this nature. Benjamin Rochard will nonetheless be wary of the Eric Raffin-reined LIVE YOUR DREAMS (6) who was dynamic here late last month, and the nicely-entered LIVE YOUR DREAMS (6) who reverts to a successful formula. Barefoot following his Wolvega re-entry, LUCIANO VREDEBEST (10) has shown a liking for Vincennes and looks competitively well in.

C4 – PRIX DE TAVERNY – 2850m (a2m) – Class E – Harness – EUR € 41,000 - J’Y SUIS J’Y RESTE – Imposed at Cabourg before confirming in a 2625m Cherbourg Class F on 18 August. Won both in style, excels for his new team, and will be expected to bring the fight to JAZZMAN (15)
- JULEJACQ – Last of 13 when preparing for this in a 2650m Class F at Les Sables-d’Olonne 2.5 weeks ago. Shoes off this time but has never made any impact over 2850m here
- JAMES BOND – Won 2 of last 3, latterly a 2600m Class D at Divonne-les-Bains a month back. Has no main-track references and in this company will need to find more
- JITANA WILD – Has been enjoying a fruitful run of turf form, latterly 4th of 15 in a 3250m Saint-Ouen-des-Toits amateurs Class H last weekend and, with shoes off this time, should again acquit herself competitively
- JERRY DE L’ERDRE – Comes to Vincennes after posting 3 runner-up places, most recently in a 2725m Pornichet Class F late last month. Has little Vincennes experience but with some luck in running could pick up some prizemoney
- JASMIN VIVANCIERE – 4th of 15 behind JUST A MAN (12) in a 3450m Agon-Coutainville Class F late last month. Has been acquitting himself well this summer and while unlikely to create an upset, he has been reconfigured and can still get in on the action
- JADORE D’ISQUES – Won an Amiens amateur event before being eliminated when full of running in a 3150m Abbeville Class E on 17 August. Has previously produced some good Vincennes performances and looks a decent first-5 candidate
- JOKER CASTILUANNE – 8th of 10 in a 2150m Mauquenchy Class E 10 days ago. Out of the picture in last 2 and others easier to back
- JET DE BUSSET – 7th of 13 in a 2100m amateurs Class F here, despite missing the break, a month back. Is clearly in fine form and going barefoot will only enhance his prospects
- JABUSCO PARC – Wonderfully-consistent type making Vincennes bow sporting a new configuration. 3rd of 17 in a 3200m Landivisiau Class E 2 weeks ago but is being aimed too high
- JAHINA VITA – Encouraged late-August but failed to confirm when 9th of 13 in a 2775m Class E at Les Sables-d’Olonne 9 days ago and can be passed over
- JUST A MAN – Got back in the game late last month when 2nd of 15 in a 3450m Agon-Coutainville Class F. Rarely disappoints when barefoot and should have a lot to offer
- JIRENZO – Starts for first time since finishing 11th of 13 in a 2875m Enghien Class D on 12 July. Barefoot for re-entry but still not a concern
- JOURNAL INTIME – Made up for August elimination when 4th of 15 in a 2850m Laval Class E last Monday. Has never delivered over the main track though and others preferred
- JAZZMAN – Eliminated, with gas in the tank, in a 2850m Laval Class E last Monday. Trainer in the bike this time and has every chance of returning to triumphant ways
- JERK HAUFOR – In the frame in last 2, latterly 2nd of 15 in a 2850m Lyon-Parilly Class F on 5 September, and makes his Vincennes debut with Alexandre Abrivard in the bike and a good hand to play
Summary: On a cracking run of form since late-June, JAZZMAN (15) looked decidedly dangerous before faulting recently and, barefoot for the occasion, and ideally-engaged, he looks thoroughly capable of imposing. He will still encounter resistance from J’Y SUIS J’Y RESTE (1) who makes just his second visit to Vincennes, on a hat-trick, and JET DE BUSSET (9) who runs barefoot for the first time this season. Similarly unshod, JUST A MAN (12) showed his form at Agon 3 weeks ago and is unlikely to be far off the mark. At this level, JADORE D’ISQUES (7) is not about to let the side down.

C5 – PRIX JONEL CHYRIACOS – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class C – Harness – EUR € 53,000 - KASSIOPEIA – Won 2 of 3 before finishing 7th of 13 in a 2850m Class D here on 5 September. Is clearly better than that though and Francois Lagadeuc will be keen to prove the point
- KINASSE DE VIVOIN – Encouraged over shorter here last month prior to finishing last of 13 to KANDIE DJOB (4) in a 2775m Craon Class D a fortnight ago, and will need to pull her socks up
- KAPELLA VET – Good 6th of 11, a place behind KALINE DE VIVOIN (12), in a 2100m Class D here on 25 August. Just her own sex to contend with this time and must be considered a priority
- KANDIE DJOB – Quality mare that encountered no resistance when victorious in a 2775m Craon Class D a fortnight ago. Appreciates these conditions and will logically garner considerable support
- KATIA DHELPA – Left a good impression when 4th of 13 to KANDIE DJOB (4) in a 2775m Craon Class D a fortnight ago. Has ground to make up, and is not the biggest Vincennes fan, but looks competitive for a cheque on her return to the capital
- KOURGA DE LOU – 5th of 15 in a monte Class D over course and distance on 1 September. Sports a fresh configuration but others still easier to trust
- KYOKA BOCNEUF – Imposed at Enghien on 12 July but unable to repeat a month later when 6th of 16 in a 2875m Class D at the same venue. Just female opposition this time and can make first 5
- KALISKANA – Ran 2nd at Langon before going one better in a 2650m Class D at Les Sables-d’Olonne 3.5 weeks ago. Shoes off this time and given her liking for the main track, will be expected to finish close
- KANGALA DE FAEL – Unexceptional 6th of 10 in a 2925m Cagnes Class F a month ago. JMB in the bike this time but still no more than a minor place chance
- KEY OF LOVE – Sprang a 141-1 surprise when 2nd of 15 in a 2850m Laval Class D on 24 August. Gets a top driver this time and could well win this if still on the boil
- KANAKA DE BUSSET – Last of 10 in a 2750m Cabourg Class D in late-August. Has been disappointing over recent months and can be passed over
- KALINE DE VIVOIN – Eliminated, on return from a layoff, in a 2750m Ecommoy Class B 3 weeks ago. Barefoot with Eric Raffin at the helm but will have other priorities
Summary: She may blow hot and cold but KEY OF LOVE (10) put in quite the performance at Laval last time out and with Gabriele Gelormini in the bike this time, could well get her nose in front. KAPELLA VET (3), in stark contrast, seldom disappoints and raced better here recently than the result would suggest. KANDIE DJOB (4) routed the opposition on turf earlier in the month and has never let the side down at Vincennes. KALISKANA (8) is difficult to knock when barefoot here and her latest performance augurs well for her chances.

- HUDSON BAIE – Sprang a 32-1 surprise when 3rd of 12 in a 2700m Class D here mid-August but confirmation is most improbable
- IVANA DES RACQUES – Pleasantly surprising 3rd of 12, a place behind ICONE D’ERABLE (5) in a 2100m Class D here on 13 September, but a repeat seems unlikely
- IRIS FROM – Should not be too quickly-judged for finishing 11th of 12 behind ICONE D’ERABLE (5) in a 2100m Class D here on 13 September, and could even win this if Alexandre Abrivard assures her initial strides
- ICONE D’ERABLE – Runner-up in last 3, latterly a 2100m Class D here on 13 September. Lost her action late that time and must be considered a player
- IRIS DES CHAMPS – In the frame in last 3, most recently 3rd of 16 in a 2300m Marseille-Borely Class D on 28 August. Has twice won under these conditions and should again play a prominent part
- ISIS D’HERFRAIE – Ran 3rd at Enghien before finishing 7th of 16 behind IDOLE DE MEAT (10) in a 2850m Laval Class D on 29 August. Is patently better than that though, likes the main track, and can be backed with a certain confidence
- GEODE DU CHERISAY – 4th of 16, a place behind IRIS DES CHAMPS (6) in a 2300m Marseille-Borely Class D on 28 August. JMB in the bike this time and although in good company should not be written off
- FELICITA D’ECOUVES – Modest 6th of 10 in a 2850m Class C here on 25 August and will have nothing to contribute
- IDOLE DE MEAT – 2nd of 16 in a 2850m Laval Class D on 29 August. Imposed at this level last winter and, with shoes off, can get her nose in front
Summary: Knocking at the door all summer, IDOLE DE MEAT (10) returns to racing barefoot after producing a fine performance at Laval and, benefiting from a superb entry, looks the pick here. There will be opposition though from the likes of IRIS FROM (4) who showed her form after missing the break here recently, and IRIS DES CHAMPS (6) who has come close more than once recently. SANGRIA PELLINI (1) left a good impression despite a bad draw last time and will not be troubled by the distance.

C7 – PRIX DE CLERMONT-FERRAND – 2100m (a1m1/4) – Class E – Harness – EUR € 52,000 - HAND FULL – Excellent in last 4, most recently victorious in a 2775m Class E at Les Sables-d’Olonne in late-July. Comes here fresh and Damien Bonne will be quietly confident. Chance
- ADAMO DIPA – Useful sort dropping marginally in category after running 6th of 13 in a Class D over track and trip 3 weeks ago. Enjoys a better spot than he did that day and Benjamin Rochard will be eyeing a step on the podium
- HAROLD SAUTONNE – 11th of 13 when preparing for this in a 2650m Laval Class E earlier this month. Is shod to preference and from the 3-spot can play a part
- GOHAKI – Ran 2nd at Enghien before faulting in a 2800m Strasbourg Class E in late-August, but appears to be out of his depth
- HEAGLE ONE – Left a good impression when 4th of 16 in a Class E under these conditions a fortnight ago. Eric Raffin at the helm this time and is unlikely to be far off the mark
- HILTON DU HOULET – 2nd of 8 in a 2500m Reims Class E late last month. Races barefoot for just the 2nd time and with David Thomain in the bike will be afforded every chance
- HIT DE JOBI – Last but one on re-entry in a 3025m Montier-en-Der Class F 3 weeks ago. Has picked up this term where he left off in March and can be ruled out
- IQUEM – Sprang a 52-1 surprise when 4th of 15 in A Class D over course and distance earlier in the month, and with form maintained could prove something of a spoiler
- OSCAR VAN HALBEEK – Took little time getting back in the game, lastly 3rd of 15 in a 2700m Class D at La Capelle 2.5 weeks ago. Forced to break wide but will be fully fit by now and looks a major player
- CONDOR PASA GAR – Won at home in Italy before repeating in a 2150m Cagnes Class E on 20 August. Has pleased just once in 7 at Vincennes but shouldn’t be entirely ruled out
- CAPTOR DELLESELVE – Handy Italian type that ran 3rd of 9 over a mile in Montegiorgio on 24 August but is taking on too much here
- ROSSI GARLINE – 3rd of 11, at 20-1, in a 2500m Reims Class E last weekend but a repeat seems most unlikely
- I LOVE IGNY – Looked ordinary here before finishing 7th of 9 in a 2700m Class F at La Capelle on 5 September. Barefoot this time but still not a concern
- NEO TURBO – Quality element returning to racing barefoot after running 6th of 15 in valuable Waregem handicap over 2350m earlier in the month and in spite of the draw can get back to winning ways
Summary: Consistently competitive and as game as they come, NEO TURBO (14) may have been handed an unenviable number but he races barefoot this time, with Alexandre Abrivard reining, and is easy to fancy for the win. OSCAR VAN HALBEEK (9) has not been blessed with the draw either but he showed his form at La Capelle and will also have his chances. Patently back at his best, HAND FULL (1) will have a reasonable chance of confirming his victory at Les Sables-d’Olonne. Reliability may not be his strong suit but IQUEM (8) gave a reassuringly good account here recently and will be reunited with Mathieu Mottier.

- HANNAH – Has 2 runs under her belt since the break, most recently last of 14 in a 3025m Montier-en-Der Class A on 24 August. Barefoot this time but still not a concern
- GOOD GIRL MARCEAUX – Flattering 4th of 6 finishers to EXTREME DESBOIS (9) in 2175m Gr.2 Prix Camille Lepecq on 2 September and will have little to contribute
- HUBBLE DU VIVIER – Ran 2nd in an Enghien Gr.2 before coming 4th of 14 in a harness Gr.3 over 2850m at Meslay-du-Maine 11 days ago. Alexandre Abrivard in the bike this time, is shod as he was at Enghien, and is worth monitoring
- IN LOVE DU CHOQUEL – 3rd of 8 to HALFA (7), on first start since November, in a Class A over course and distance on 23 August. Boasts excellent course-and-distance credentials and can get straight back down to business
- GOLD VOICE – Finished 3rd in Prix Camille Lepecq before being eliminated. Is not without merit but faces a stiff test once again
- HALFA – Stormed up in a Class A over track and trip on 23 August. Raffin has deserted her though and more a first-5 prospect this time around
- IMPALA DE VAL – 11th of 14 behind HUBBLE DU VIVIER (4) in a harness Gr.3 over 2850m at Meslay-du-Maine 11 days ago. Has won 4 of last 5 monte starts and with application can bring the fight to IN LOVE DU CHOQUEL (5)
- EXTREME DESBOIS – Got back in the winners’ circle early this month when dominating the 2175m Gr.2 Prix Camille Lepecq. Is as spritely as ever aged 11 and a repeat is not out of the question
Summary: There is a cracker of a race in store for us here with some heavyweights taking on the tough 2850m of the main track. IN LOVE DU CHOQUEL (5) put in a fine performance on his comeback here a month ago and just gets the nod over the talented, and barefoot, IMPALA DE VAL (8) whose return from his summer break has been much-anticipated. Since being rerouted to the monte code, EXTREME DESBOIS (9) has excelled and Mathieu Mottier worked his magic with him here last time out. In fine form, with Eric Raffin in the irons, JASMINE DE VAU (1) may just be starting her second Cornulier preparation here and must not be underestimated.

- EL BAIO – Makes French bow after running 2nd of 8 over 2500m in Berlin-Mariendorf a month ago. Top driver at the helm and will be competitive for the win
- EDO GRIF – Put in a fine performance when 2nd of 8 finishers in a 2700m Class E here on 6 September and can again finish close
- EXPLOIT KRONOS – Ran good 3rd of 11, a place behind EDO GRIF (3), in a 2700m Class E here a fortnight ago. Is clearly the better horse though and can bring home the bacon this time
- ECTOR ZL – 3rd of 6 over a mile in Turin 2 weeks ago but in this category can expect to have few friends
- MAN OF STEEL (GER) – Capable sort but eliminated in last 2, latterly a 2100m Class D here 3 weeks ago. Matthieu Abrivard reining this time but others still easier to trust
- KIWI DE L’OISON – 5th of 11 in a 2700m Class E at La Capelle late last month. Would have imposed had he stayed focused and redemption is on his agenda
- KEL DIABLO ERGEE – 3rd of 9 in a 2500m Reims Class E last weekend but takes on a better lot here and will have his work cut out
- KAIROUAN GLAM – Complicated type that was eliminated in a 2700m Vincennes Class E on 6 September. Has never delivered in the day’s configuration and is unlikely to start now
Summary: A veritable model of consistency, the German EXPLOIT KRONOS (4) has acquitted himself well in both French starts and, unshod-behind this time, can break his French duck. He will have company though in the form of the similarly performant EL BAIO (2) who makes his French bow with Alexandre Abrivard in the bike, and EDO GRIF (3) who finished ahead of Benjamin Rochard’s horse last time. KIWI DE L’OISON (7) is seldom far from the action when barefoot and focused and Clement Duvaldestin will be keen to make up for his latest run.

C1 – PRIX MUNET – 1200m (a6f) – TURF – Class 4 Claiming – Flat – EUR € 15,400
- MONSIEUR FANTAISIE – Finished eighth over 1800m at Chantilly in Class 3 Claimer on 15 September. He can show if finding his United Kingdom form
- BURN TO SHINE – Needed latest when eighth over 1200m at Chantilly in Claimer on 15 September. He would have come on from the run and should have good improvement to come
- PRADARO – Finished third over 800m at Chantilly in Class 3 Claimer on 5 September. Won the Group 3 Prix Du Petit Couvert last year and should take a power of beating
- WILMOT – Finished eighth over 1600m in Germany on 30 August. Returns to French soil and may find it difficult to win this
- BLU METAL JACKET – Unplaced in last two starts, the latest of which was over 1400m at Deauville in Class 3 Handicap on 3 August. He finished second on this course three runs ago, and cannot be discounted
- DUANA – Supplemented for this race. Yet to show any promise. Finished unplaced over 1600m at Vittel in Class 4 Handicap on 3 August. Look elsewhere
- SIGNORIA PIAZZA – Supplemented for this race. Finished sixth over 1600m at Vittel in Handicap on 27 August. Others have a stronger winning chance
Summary: PRADARO (3) comes off a good third-place finish at Chantilly. He won the Group 3 Prix Du Petit Couvert last year and is the class horse in the race. Aurelien Lemaitre retains the ride, and he is the horse to beat. BURN TO SHINE (2) would have come on from his last outing and can show good improvement. BLU METAL JACKET (5) has been disappointing in his last two starts. He finished second in his last outing on this track. Cristian Demuro retains the ride which is encouraging. - PRESOMPTION – Unreliable and finished 8th in a claimer at Deauville over 2500m on 9 November. Returns from a break and is better on the PSF. Others are preferred
- ANALYTICS – Has only been modest of late and finished 6th at Baden-Baden over 1800m on 3 September. Needs to find a few lengths to win
Summary: A very competitive-looking race. PIOLI IS ON FIRE (5) has been very consistent without winning this year and can go one better this time. AMRITA (7) returned from a break in good form, should be fitter now, and can be a threat. DELTA SPIRIT (1) has won over this distance but is probably better over shorter these days. MIRADERO (2) is not reliable but is clearly not out of it either.

- DARLINGHURST – Only modest form shown earlier this year and was 6th in a Conditions race at Chantilly over 1300m on 9 March. Big chance if fit on return
- MEMPHIS TENNESSEE – Has struggled of late and finished 10th in a handicap at Chantilly over 1600m on 1 September. Could play a minor role
- MICHIGAN FIRE – Has really struggled this year and was unplaced in a handicap at ParisLongchamp over 1600m on 29 May. Did better last year and is not out of it
- CHATAIGNE – Needed her only run of the year and was unplaced in a handicap at Lyon-Parilly over 1600m on 9 September. Capable of improvement but others make more appeal
Summary: DARLINGHURST (2) is a Group 3 winner. He was not at his best earlier this year but, if fit and ready, he will prove hard to beat in this line-up. HARPER (1) looked in need of his only run this year and, if there is a danger to DARLINGHURST (2), then he is probably it. MEMPHIS TENNESSEE (3) has struggled all year and needs to find his best form to be a threat. MICHIGAN FIRE (4) did win a race last year but has lost his way this season.
