    Summary: NO LIMIT DREAM (3) has solid course form over shorter trips, including a runner-up finish in a Class 3 handicap on the PSF here in March. He followed that with a turf victory at Fontainebleau in late April. Although he’s been out of the frame in his last two starts, he is capable of bouncing back. He gets the vote ahead of MY FANCY (5), who landed a Class 3 race on the PSF at Deauville in August and remains a threat. TRUE TEDESCO (7) holds strong each-way claims after finishing a good third in a Class 1 handicap at Deauville last month. GAILLARD (12) arrives in winning form and must be respected, while the ultra-consistent CHARLESQUINT (16), bidding for an eleventh career victory, is also worth including.

  24. RASHEED – Unraced colt by Time Test, the dam ran once. Likely to improve for this run and is best watched in the betting for clues
  25. ANDEOL – Unraced colt by Frankel, the dam won 4 races, including a Listed and a Group 3 over 2000m. Choice pedigree and a bold show can be expected
    Summary: ANDEOL (9) has a taking profile. He is by Frankel out of a mare that won a Group 3 and a Listed race. A bold show can be expected on his first day at school. HOUBLON (6) has the benefit of a run, when he ran with promise at Parislongchamp late in August, when second. He will know what is required this time. SENEQUE (2) shaped well to be second 22 days ago on his debut and warrants respect. JATHAB (1) makes up the shortlist.

    Summary: SWEET CHOP (2) ran a nice race when fifth in a competitive Class 2 race at Dax earlier this month and can get back on track in this less taxing race. APOGEO (4) could be the main danger. A pleasing second at Deauville in mid-August in a handicap over 1300m on the most recent start was full of encouragement. THE SHADOW (7) has made the frame on all of her five runs and can once again give a good account of herself. HEY VINCE (1) heads the rest.

    Summary: NOT SO SILLY (10) has been knocking on the door with two recent runner-up finishes, both in Class 4 handicaps at Deauville on the PSF. From a good draw, he looks well-placed to finally get his head in front. PARMENIDE (5) has also been in consistent form, recording four consecutive placings, and poses the main threat. KIM KARALA (3) ran a solid race when fourth over 1600m at this track on September 15 and looks a viable each-way option. ZYGFRYD (8) heads the rest.

  56. JANNET – Unraced by Churchill, the dam was unraced. From the Andre Fabre powerhouse. She will know what is required on her first day at school
  57. REVE DE VIE – Unraced filly by Birchwood, the dam never raced. Likely to need this debut run for experience. The betting can be informative
  58. ANASHKAYA – Newcomer by Starspangledbanner, the dam won on debut over 2300m and was placed from two runs. Nice profile and from a leading stable. She can play a lead role
  59. ARKEN – Filly on debut by Goken, the dam was unraced. Stable runners tend to need a run or two for education. Watch the betting patterns for clues
    Summary: SHEERAN (8) showed a good deal of promise when she was fourth at Deauville in mid-August on her only run over 1600m. She can step forward from that run and edge this from the unraced ANASHKAYA (11), who hails from the Francis-Henri Graffard stable. She can play a lead role, as can JANNET (9), who has Cristian Demuro doing the steering. SOCIETY PRINCESSE (3) should improve from her third on debut over 1500m at Deauville early last month, and can be involved.

If he breaks well, he should be able to secure a good position, and is given a narrow vote over SEE THE LIGHT (11), who finished third in that same Deauville race and is respected now returning to the all-weather. Both BOLZANO (9) and EFFIRA (15) are consistent types and appeal as solid each-way prospects.

KALINE DE VIRE (4) should find conditions more to her liking this time and in current condition is easy to fancy for a podium place.     Summary: KERRO DE HOUELLE (2) left a very good impression on just his second start following a 6 months’ break, and with Eric Raffin reining can open his 2025 account. KOOPER (4) goes particularly well for David Thomain and is ideally-situated on the front line. A model of consistency, KA DEUX TONIQUE (11) returned to the winners’ circle at Les Sables-d’Olonne and even though on the back line here has yet to disappoint for his Italian driver. KIT ANGOT (3) is plainly in rude health and it is just a matter of time before he comes good again.

  43. JET EXPRESS – 3rd at La Rochelle before coming 2nd of 12 in a 2750m Cabourg Class D on 22 August. Will have been kept on the boil and should be able to bring the fight to JIM PERRINE (14)
  44. JAGUAR MARANCOURT – Disqualified in a 1609m Vichy Class D last week. Is better than recent results would imply, returns to a previous formula, and can play a role if he keeps his action together
  45. JEZABELLE BIE – Makes first appearance since being eliminated in a 2700m Vincennes monte Gr.3. in late-June. Has other ambitions
  46. JIM PERRINE – Outclassed the field in a Class D over course and distance late last month. Seldom puts a foot out of place these days and in similar form should have this in the bag
    Summary: A superb campaigner that has won 3 of his last 4 starts, JIM PERRINE (14) is ideally-engaged here and with form maintained can confirm his latest course-and-distance victory. He should still encounter resistance from JET EXPRESS (11) who has been knocking at the door, and JUST DE L’OISON (7) who is hard to fault when focused. Reconfigured following a wonderful effort in a Gr.3 on turf, JOYCE DELTO (6) will have her chances.

  52. JUST FOR FUN – Unable to confirm Cagnes performance when 12th of 14 behind JADE (10) in a 2875m Meslay-du-Maine Class F on 10 September, but returns to racing left-handed and should have a good hand to play
  53. JIM D’ALOUETTE – Secured the 3-timer in a 2775m Class E at Les Sables-d’Olonne on 22 August. Is plainly at the top of his game and Flavien Herivaux can be confident of another big run
  54. JOJO DE L’AUNAY – Returns to racing barefoot after being eliminated in a 2850m Mauquenchy monte Class F early last month but will have nothing to contribute
  55. JAZZY FLIGNY – 7th of 14 despite missing the break in a 2700m Vincennes Class E 3 weeks ago. Put in an excellent performance and even from the 2nd row looks the main danger
  56. JADE – 2nd at Cherbourg prior to finishing 6th of 14 in a 2875m Meslay-du-Maine Class F on 10 September. Has previously imposed here but sports 4 pads this time and others easier to back

    Summary: Beaten just once in 8 starts in the day’s configuration, JIM D’ALOUETTE (7) completed the 2nd hat-trick of his career just last month and is going to take all the beating. Leading the opposition is JAZZY FLIGNY (9) who was eye-catching at Vincennes earlier in the month, and JUST FOR FUN (6) who will not be too far off the mark if he replicates his penultimate performance. Back on a hard surface, JAGERBOMB (1) boasts a terrific Laval record and is unlikely to let the side down.

    Summary: Unlucky here mid-month, LOOK D’AIMTE (8) has otherwise been in fine shape and with Eric Raffin reining this time can set the record straight. That being said, LATINO DU LUPIN (6) took his game to a new level over the summer and looks the main threat. Barefoot for her first objective of the autumn, LEA GIBUS (10) races barefoot this time and with Alexandre Abrivard at the helm, will not go down easily. Reconfigured for the occasion, LERMINE D’OLIVERIE (16) benefits from a terrific entry and on good behaviour could start to get back in the game.

  88. MELVIANA – Made fine return to competition when victorious in a 2625m Class F at Le Sap on 10 August. In superior company this time but should still be able to hold her own
  89. MARJOLAINE DU RIB – Out of the picture in last 4, latterly 9th of 12 in a 2450m Caen Class E last week, and can expect to have few takers
  90. MELICIANA – Won here earlier in the year before finishing 8th of 10 in a 2450m Caen Class E last March. May be race-rusty but has bags of ability and must be respected
  91. MY QUEEN BLUE – Looked very ordinary when last but one in a Class E under these conditions late last month and will need to raise her game considerably
  92. MAESTRIA DE CHENU – Put a brace of eliminations behind her when 2nd of 12 in a 2725m Lisieux Class F on 13 September. Takes a notable step up in category but still looks good enough to pick up a cheque
  93. MERRY DE MALABRY – Reunited with Eric Raffin after coming 5th of 15 in a 2800m Vire Class E 3 months ago. Will be fresh and unlikely to let the side down. Chance
    Summary: Decent winner in May first time out, MISS MAGIQUE (1) makes her first start since but will have been prepared for this and can maintain a perfect record. She will still come under pressure from the likes of MAGIE D’ORME (8) who has been knocking at the door, and the useful MERRY DE MALABRY (16) who races left-handed for the first time. MOON DES ARRIS (9) makes her first appearance for a couple of months and will be no pushover if Arthur Rebeche keeps her trotting.

  110. MALLAURY D’AVEL – Showed marked improvement when 3rd of 10 in a 2200m Vincennes Class D 3 months back. Has not been seen since but with Paul Ploquin reining will be afforded every chance
  111. MARIO DE LA VALLEE – Made short work of a Class F under these conditions on 24 August and a similar performance would see him repeat
    Summary: Unopposed winner on his debut over course and distance a month ago, MARIO DE LA VALLEE (18) returns to the venue with a realistic shot at the double. Mathieu Mottier will be in the saddle of MILES DAVIS WIND (7) whose return to competition has been much-anticipated. MAESTRIA DU PLAIN (3) qualified well under harness in May and the engagement of Alexandre Abrivard stands her in good stead. MIRAGE BOY (16) makes his monte bow with Eric Raffin in the irons and will be no easy touch.

  116. NELLY ME TIME – Eliminated on debut before running 7th of 9 in a 2000m Class F at La Capelle 3 weeks ago. Is nicely-related and it is just a question of time before she starts to show her value
  117. NIKITA DE CALVI – Unplaced in 2 before being eliminated in a 2200m Vincennes Class D a fortnight ago and will have nothing to contribute
  118. NEW YORK CITY – Unexceptional in qualification last month before being eliminated in a 2400m Chateaubriant Class E 11 days ago, and is unlikely to spring any surprises
  119. NANA DU LEVANT – Qualified in 1’18″4 at Laval in June. Matthieu Abrivard gets the nod for her career debut and will be expected to play a prominent role
  120. NINA HAGEN – Baudouin 2nd string that qualified in 1’19″1 at Meslay-du-Maine on 17 July. Handed an unfavourable draw but will still generate interest
  121. NORMANDIE MADRIK – Qualified in 1’19″2 at Meslay-du-Maine in mid-July. Eric Raffin has enjoyed significant success with Jean-Michel Baudouin’s horses and despite the draw will have his chances
  122. NATACHA CASTEL – Qualified in 1’18″3 at Caen in early-June. Mottier horses in cracking form and is not incapable of getting straight down to business
  123. NOMINEE – Qualified in a pleasant 1’19″1 at Caen in early-August. Forced to start on 2nd line and in this company is not about to create an upset
  124. NINA DE L’AUMOY – Looked rather ordinary when qualifying in 1’20″1 at Meslay-du-Maine in June and will need to find significantly more
  125. NAMOUR DAB – Untried colt that qualified in 1’19″7 at Grosbois in mid-June. Damien Bonne would have preferred a better draw but is not one to be underestimated
    Summary: While this may be something of a lottery, it is always interesting to see the development of the juvenile division. NASHVILLE BLUE (1) missed the break on her recent debut after having pleased in her July qualification and if applied can get off the mark. Opposition takes the form of untried elements NORMANDIE MADRIK (10), a well-bred sort that will be partnered by Eric Raffin, NATACHA CASTEL (11) who hails from Mathieu Mottier’s in-form stable, and NANA DU LEVANT (8) whose June qualification will not have gone unnoticed.
