R1 FEURS [L-H]
C1 – GRAND NATIONAL DU TROT – 2850m (a2m) – Gr3 – Harness – EUR € 90,000
- JESON BOY – Wonderfully-consistent trotter that has won both starts since the summer break, most recently a 2300m Marseille-Borely Class D in late-August. Has never disappointed at Feurs but may just be taking on too much this time
- FEU DE REVOLTE – Eliminated at Vincennes before running 8th of 15 behind IMPERIAL DURABUTIN (3) in a 2700m Class C at Le Croise-Laroche 2 weeks ago, and is unlikely to spice things up
- IMPERIAL DURABUTIN – 2nd in a Vincennes Class C prior to running 4th of 15 in a 2700m Class C at Le Croise-Laroche 2 weeks ago. Is always game but is being aimed too high on this occasion
- JAPPELOUP TURGOT – 4th of 15 behind IMPERIAL DURABUTIN (3) in a 2700m Vincennes Class C on 18 September. Consistently in the thick of things when focused and despite the hike in category still merits respect
- GEANT SARTHOIS – Ran 2nd at Hyeres before coming 2nd of 15 in a 2300m Marseille-Borely Class C on 11 September. Has never been tested in similar company but is a hardy sort that should nevertheless acquit himself honourably
- HARRY DE SASSY – Showed improvement when 5th of 14 in a 2850m Class D at Lyon-Parilly a month back. Has yet to reach 2024 form though and others easier to back
- IMPLORA MAUZUN – Stormed up in a 2850m Lyon-Parilly Class D early last month. Is clearly in from, adores Feurs, and from the front row will have a lot to contribute
- HELIOS SI – Sprang quite the surprise when 4th of 14 in a 2725m GNT Lisieux Gr.3 3 weeks ago. A repeat, however, seems improbable
- HADES DE L’ITON – Comfortable winner of a 2775m Craon Gr.3 on 8 September. Is well-entered here and has a realistic chance of making his Feurs debut a winning one
- INDY DE JYR – Won 3 straight GNT races before finishing 5th of 14, a place behind HELIOS SI (8), in a 2725m GNT Lisieux Gr.3 3 weeks ago. Is new to the venue and will be expected to bounce back and play a leading part
- HORATIUS D’ELA – Eliminated in Meslay-du-Maine edition before winning a 2700m Vincennes Class B 2.5 weeks ago. In better company on this occasion but will still garner support
- INVICTUS MADIBA – Won a Grenade-sur-Garonne Gr.3 before being eliminated in a 2175m Vincennes monte Gr.2 on 2 September. Reliability not his strong suit but with his mind on the job can pick up a first-5 cheque
- HARMONY DU RABUTIN – Ran 3rd in a Parilly Gr.3 before dominating a 2850m Hyeres Class A early this month. Has already won a Gr.2 this season and looks eminently capable of repeating
- IDEAL DU POMMEAU – Classy trotter making first appearance since finishing last of 9 behind HARLEY GEMA (15) on re-entry in a 2850m Lyon-Parilly Gr.3 on 17 September. Has other ambitions and can be passed over
- HARLEY GEMA – Tough servant that ran a pleasantly surprising 2nd of 9 in a 2850m Lyon-Parilly Gr.3 on 17 September. Is consistent for the most part, is well-engaged on 2nd row, and can play a prominent role
- HORCHESTRO – 5th of 9 behind HARLEY GEMA (15) on re-entry in a 2850m Lyon-Parilly Gr.3 on 17 September. Has been handed a 50m penalty this time and with front pads fitted is not a concern
Summary: An exceptional mare that took her game to a new level over the summer, HARMONY DU RABUTIN (13) won unopposed at Hyeres earlier in the month, runs barefoot this time, and even from the 2nd line can confirm. Considering HADES DE L’ITON (9) is unbeaten in 10 starts this year, and benefits from a superb draw, Serge Peltier is not going to have things all his own way. HARLEY GEMA (15) ran close in the Gr.3 Grand Prix du Centre Est a month ago and will have her chances if still on the boil. INDY DE JYR (10) should not be too hastily-condemned for his Lisieux run and must be afforded respect. IMPLORA MAUZUN (7) won by a country mile on her comeback, returns to racing barefoot, and the front-line start stands her in very good stead.

C2 – PRIX DES AMATEURS – 2850m (a2m) – Class F Amateur Drivers – Harness – EUR € 8,000 - JUST REMEMBER – Serious sort that finished last but one on comeback in a 2850m Meslay-du-Maine Class F on 10 September. Has over a month’s progress in him and looks the pick of the field
- JENNY LEGEND – Returns to a category she appreciates after running 5th of 10 in a 2300m Marseille-Borely Class E on 11 September. Is unlikely to get her nose in front but has done little to disappoint for some time and must be respected
- GOLD DE LA COUDRE – Imposed at Thouars in August before running 2nd of 14 in a 3100m amateurs Class H at Nort-sur-Erdre on 7 September. Comes here fresh, starts in front, and with application will be no easy touch
- GIORGIO DU VIVIER – Honest sort that ran 3rd of 16 in a 2825m amateurs Class G at Le Croise-Laroche 2 weeks ago. Takes on some tougher elements this time but should nevertheless hold his own
- JOLIE MOME CHIC – Eliminated in a 2525m Cavaillon Class E on 19 September. Makes just 2nd appearance at this level, and even though reconfigured, is not an obvious choice
- IMPHY – Eliminated in a 2850m Lyon-Parilly amateurs Class G 10 days ago. Disappointing in last 3 and must get her house in order
- JUST ELGE DESBOIS – Made short work of a 2800m Auch Class F early last month. Has shown a different side since moving to Yannick Henry’s yard and will be expected to put in another competitive performance. Chance
- JAGUAR’S EYES – Takes a dip in category and races barefoot after coming 4th of 11 in a 2600m Class F at Divonne-les-Bains in late-August. Barbara Guenet in the bike here and she will be eager to take advantage of the good entry
- FIGARO DE BUSSET – Ran 3rd over shorter here on 7 September before coming 8th of 12 in a 2525m Cavaillon Class F 12 days later, and is not about to shake things up
- GLAIEUL DE JOUX – Returns to the amateur category after finishing lacklustre 7th of 14 in a 2300m Marseille-Borely Class E a fortnight back, but still appears to have nothing to offer
- IDEAL DU BOUILLON – Makes first amateur start of 2025 after running 2nd of 15 in a 2650m Alencon Class D 10 days ago. Forced to start on back row, and stays shod, but still has the wherewithal to finish in the mix
Summary: A tremendous campaigner in the amateur division, JUST REMEMBER (1) has a race under his belt since the summer break, is unbeaten in the day’s configuration, and has every chance of making his Feurs debut a successful one. Leading the opposition, JUST ELGE DESBOIS (7) makes her amateur bow after imposing at Auch, while the in-form JAGUAR’S EYES (8) makes his own amateur debut barefoot and in excellent shape. GOLD DE LA COUDRE (3) is a faithful veteran whose current condition should be good enough to pick up a place cheque.

C3 – PRIX DU DEPARTEMENT DE LA LOIRE – 2850m (a2m) – Class E – Mounted – EUR € 30,000 - JULIANA DU LOISIR – 4th of 12 in a 2900m Chateauroux Class F 2.5 weeks ago. Regularly gives everything she has but will need to find more on this occasion
- JOYAU DE SOYORA – Last of 8 behind IAGO ROSE (7) in a 2850m Lyon-Parilly Class D a month back and will not be troubling the judge
- HANDEL TURGOT – Last but one in a 2850m Lyon-Parilly amateurs harness Class G 10 days ago. Is clearly off the boil and can be passed over
- JADORE JULRY – Placed over 2225m here in July but out of the picture in both monte starts since and is unlikely to influence the outcome
- JUMPER MATIDY – Makes first appearance since running 2nd of 8 in a 2400m Amiens Class F in late-July. Barring a brace of eliminations, has been simply excelling and will take all the beating
- JALNO MADRIK – 8th of 15 when preparing for this in a 2300m Borely Class E a fortnight ago. Gives a good account for the most part under the saddle and can play an active role
- IAGO ROSE – Back in the code after running 6th of 10 in a 2850m Lyon-Parilly harness Class E in late-September. Boasts excellent Feurs credentials and despite the penalty must be taken very seriously
- HASHTAG DUB’S – Takes a dip in category after running good 4th of 7 in a 2725m Lisieux Class A 3 weeks ago. Can prove a handful but is plainly in top form and will be no soft touch if focused
- IMPERIAL KEY – Unable to secure the 3-timer when 5th of 10 in a 2700m Vincennes Class D 3 weeks ago. Thrives here under the saddle and will be competitive for a place on the podium
Summary: As versatile as they get, and hailing from a yard firing on all cylinders, JUMPER MATIDY (5) starts on the front line and should have this in the bag provided Antonin Andre keeps him focused. HASHTAG DUB’S (8) held his own in better company recently and even though 25m worse off can still apply the pressure. A winner here last month, IMPERIAL KEY (9) also incurs the handicap but in current shape is easy to recommend. IAGO ROSE (7) has never let the side down in this branch of the business and, barefoot this time, is not about to start to.

C4 – PRIX LOIRE FOREZ AGGLOMERATION – 2100m (a1m1/4) – Class D – Harness – EUR € 23,000 - MISS LOULOU – Made a good return to competition in late-August when 3rd of 8 in a 2300m Marseille-Borely Class D. Takes on a marginally better lot here but is worth keeping an eye on all the same
- MY LOVE PANAME – Sent for a rest after missing the break and being eliminated in a 2950m Vichy Class B on 19 June. Has a good spot behind the car though and will be no pushover
- MORDU DE FOOT – Opened his account at Saint-Galmier in July but failed to confirm when 6th of 8 finishers in a Class D over track and trip in early-September. Tends to go well for Theo Briand though and should not be overlooked
- MISS GABRIELLE – Makes first appearance since winning a 2150m Vichy Class E on 24 June. Has shown considerable potential and the draw will do her prospects no disservice
- MELIA DE MONGOCHY – Serious sort that left a good impression in Lyon-Parilly a month ago when 3rd of 12 in a 2850m Class D. Has been handed a fine draw and Bertrand Rouet will be eager to make hay
- MASCARET – Sent for a break after winning 2 of 3, latterly a 2850m Class D here in mid-June. Will have been prepared of this, starts in front, and looks main threat to MISTER MAGIC (15)
- MYSTIC MAN – Moderate sort starting for first time since finishing last of 6 in a 2850m Lyon-Parilly Class B in late-May, and is not about to create an upset
- MAGIC DOLLAR – Won a 2650m Saint-Galmier Class E on 23 August. Faces a stiffer test this time and the draw will do him no favours
- MISAKI D’OURVILLE – Unraced since running 2nd of 10 in a Class E over course and distance on 18 July. Trainer in the bike this time but can still compete for a place in the frame
- MAREVA – 9th of 12 behind MELIA DE MONGOCHY (5) in a 2850m Lyon-Parilly Class D on 17 September. By no means the worst horse here but cannot be regarded a contender
- MILAZZO – Unseen since finishing 8th of 11 in a 2700m Aix-les-Bains Class E in late-July and will not be given a hard race
- MIDORIYA DU BOURG – 5th of 6 finishers in a 2825m Lyon-Parilly Class B last week and under these conditions has no possible chance
- MY MARCEAUX – 8th of 12 behind MELIA DE MONGOCHY (5), on comeback, in a 2850m Lyon-Parilly Class D on 17 September, and appears to have little going for him here
- MARUDA – Disappointing on re-entry at Divonne-les-Bains before losing her action in a 2850m Lyon-Parilly Class D on 17 September. Has pulled a tough number and will struggle to make her presence felt
- MISTER MAGIC – Made short work of a 2100m Lyon-Parilly Class F on 5 September. Makes Feurs debut with morale intact and can wrap this up if Loris Garcia successfully navigates the start
- MOVE SIXTY ONE – Imposed here in June but out of the picture in 2 since, latterly 7th behind MELIA DE MONGOCHY (5) in 17 September race of reference, and can be passed over
Summary: MISTER MAGIC (15) absolutely trounced the opposition early last month, has been given sufficient time to get back in shape, and despite a tough draw should still be good enough to repeat. MASCARET (6) may not have been seen since winning here in June but he is better-placed on the front line and can get straight back in the game. Similarly unraced since then, MY LOVE PANAME (2) will be reunited with David Bekaert for the occasion and must be considered a player. MISAKI D’OURVILLE (9) also comes here fresh and her aptitude for these conditions can help to negate the draw.

C5 – PRIX DE LA COMMUNAUTE DE COMMUNES DE FOREZ-EST – 2225m (a1m1/2) – Class D – Harness – EUR € 23,000 - LUNA MAG – Back under harness after being eliminated in a 2850m Parilly monte Class E last week and again looks out of her depth
- LE BON MAYENNAIS – Unseen since running 6th of 14 in a 2850m Class D here on 13 June. Is reunited with Antonin Andre who won with him in April, but sports pads this time and best to hold off
- LIPARI – Put Villereal blip behind her when 2nd of 14 in a 2900m Chateauroux Class H a month ago. Has demonstrated fine consistency and if applied will logically finish in the mix
- LITTLEROK D’EURVAD – Disqualified in a 2850m Lyon-Parilly Class D early last month after having imposed. Has already won over shorter here and can more than make amends if Benjamin Chauve-Laffay keeps him out of trouble
- LUXOR D’ECAJEUL – Has not been seen out since coming 3rd of 9 in a 2100m Vincennes Class E on 10 June. Is competitively shod but looks more a minor place chance this time around
- LIBERTE DU RIB – 5th of 8 in a 2150m Vichy Class D in early-August. Shoes off for re-entry but still not an obvious choice
- LUCCIANO D’OMAHA – Steps back up in category after running 2nd of 11 in a 3000m Class E at Salon-de-Provence on 20 September. Goes barefoot again and is unlikely to disappoint
- LOYAL ELEVEN – Made up for Vincennes elimination when successful in a 2750m Angouleme Class E 10 days ago. Should take well to the new conditions and can make it 2 on the trot
- LESS TIME – Starts for the first time since being eliminated in a 2450m Caen Class D on 23 June. Has bags of ability and with a leading driver in the bike can contest the finish
- LATINOS DU NOYER – Last of 13 in a 2875m Enghien Class E 2.5 weeks ago. Not the most courageous of trotters and others easier to support
- LE MAGNIFIQUE DJOC – Tricky sort that finished 8th of 12 in a 2850m Class B here early last month and even with pads fitted is unlikely to trouble the opposition
- LUCKY DU MINON – Quality element that was eliminated when prepping for this in a 2800m Cordemais Class B 10 days ago. Has a lot going for him here and, given the entry, can play a leading role
Summary: After having come close on numerous occasions, LOYAL ELEVEN (8) was finally rewarded with victory earlier this month. He presents solid left-handed references and is in with a decent shout of doubling his money. Alain Gendrot will still be keeping a watchful eye on the well-entered LUCKY DU MINON (12) who goes barefoot following a Cordemais freshener, and the complicated but talented LESS TIME (9) who is shod to preference for his seasonal comeback. Winner last time here, LITTLEROK D’EURVAD (4) got his nose in front at Parilly only to lose the race in the stewards’ room.

C6 – PRIX DE LA VILLE DE FEURS – 2100m (a1m1/4) – Class E – Harness – EUR € 30,000 - GUIDO JOSSELYN – Disappointing in 2 after winning at Aix-les-Bains, latterly 8th of 11 in a 2650m Oraison Class E 2.5 weeks ago, but is well-engaged, with Gabi Gelormini reining, and cannot be ruled out
- ILTON DE BELLANDE – Put in a good showing on re-entry when 3rd of 15 in a 2100m Vincennes Class D on 12 September. Theo Briand in the bike for the first time and the draw will do his chances no harm. Place chance
- HERMES DELUSS – Opened his 2025 account last month before running 4th of 14 behind GRANTCHESTER (5) in a 2300m Marseille-Borely Class E a fortnight ago. Has taken well to his new surroundings and the draw will only help his cause. First 5
- IDEAL DE SASSY – Showed marked improvement when 2nd of 16 in a 2150m Enghien Class E late last month. Sebastien Hardy in the bike this time and can impose
- GRANTCHESTER – Surprised somewhat when 2nd of 14 in a 2300m Marseille-Borely Class E a fortnight ago. Out of the picture in last 2 Feurs starts but David Bekaert stays faithful and will afford his charge every chance
- IL PLEUT BERGERE – Failed to secure the hat-trick when last of 10 in a 2500m Reims Class E mid-September, but returns to racing barefoot and can bring the fight to IDEAL DE SASSY (4)
- INCAHUASI – 7th of 11 when preparing for this in a 2300m Marseille-Borely Class D 3 weeks ago. Has 2 races under his belt, is barefoot for the occasion, and must be considered a serious player
- GENERAL D’AMOUR – 9th of 12 in a 2675m Alencon claimer 10 days ago. Very disappointing this term and can be confidently ruled out
- GREFFIERS FLINOIS – 4th of 8 finishers, at 46/1, in a 2100m Vincennes Class E earlier this month and is not about to influence the result
- GALION VOLSIN – 3rd of 14, a place behind GRANTCHESTER (5), in a 2300m Marseille-Borely Class E a fortnight ago. Is plainly in form but would be preferred barefoot
- HANACK DE VIVOIN – Unraced since finishing last but one in a 2775m Class E at Les Sables-d’Olonne in late-July. On back row and can expect to have few friends
- IDAHO SPRINGS – Starts for the first time since running 2nd of 14 in a 2850m Class F here in early-July. Is shod-to preference but breaks from the back and is unlikely to spring any surprises
- INVICTUS MADRIK – Takes a notable hike in category after running 5th of 9 finishers in a 2100m Vincennes claimer last week. Has pulled an unattractive number and can be passed over
Summary: Something of an open affair this, but it is still hard to ignore the ideally-positioned, and reconfigured, IDEAL DE SASSY (4) who left a very good impression at Enghien 2.5 weeks ago. He will be opposed though by a barefoot IL PLEUT BERGERE (6) who has won 2 of her last 3, and ILTON DE BELLANDE (2) whose return to competition did not go unnoticed. INCAHUASI (7) is a tough nut to crack when barefoot and debuts at the venue with a good hand to play.

C7 – PRIX CAFE DU COMMERCE CHAZELLES SUR LYON – 2850m (a2m) – Class D – Harness – EUR € 26,000 - KIKO JOSSELYN – Eliminated on return in a 3000m Marseille-Borely Class B 3 weeks ago. Is barefoot with Gabi Gelormini in the bike but others still preferred
- KNOWLEDGE DE JEMA – Eliminated in a 2850m Lyon-Parilly Class C on 17 September. Pleased on sole Feurs start, has been reconfigured for the occasion, but still appears to be taking on too much
- KALLISTEE – 4th of 11 finishers in a 2850m Lyon-Parilly Class C last week. In less-exalted company this time and looks a decent place prospect
- KALIO DE BRAYE – Raced better in a 2875m Enghien Class D last week than his 6th of 13 would suggest. Goes as well right-handed as left- and will have a lot to offer if he takes to the new conditions
- KIMIKO DU DOUBS – Unremarkable 8th of 12 in a 3125m Angers Class D on 1 October and is unlikely to shake things up
- KLEMS DE JAVIE – Surprisingly lacklustre 12th of 13 behind KALIO DE BRAYE (4) in a 2875m Enghien Class D last week. Is useful when focused and should not be too far from the action
- KERNO – 6th of 16 in a 2850m Laval Class D 11 days ago. Takes on some serious horses this time and prospects seem slim
- KADOR D’ESPACE – Eliminated in a 2850m Lyon-Parilly Class C on 17 September and is unlikely to garner much support
- KENJY DE LA VALLEE – 2nd of 9 finishers in a 2850m Lyon-Parilly Class C on 17 September. Has been in cracking form for a number of months and will have his chances
- KALINKA CASTELETS – Last but one behind KIMIKO DU DOUBS (5), on first start since the spell, in a 3125m Angers Class D on 1 October, and chances appear slim
- KAVRIK DE GUEZ – Flew up at Lignieres in August before repeating in Marseille-Borely on 11 September. Is confirmed in this category and the 3-timer is well within his capacity
- KEONA DELALANDE – Rewarded with victory in a 2050m Hyeres Class F on 8 September. Steps up in category, has been deserted by David Bekaert, and looks a minor place chance at best
- KAISER DE MORTREE – Unable to confirm mid-August performance when 8th of 15 in a 2875m Class E at Meslay-du-Maine last Friday. Did not enjoy the best of runs that day and cannot be ruled out
- KAVALE ERCA – Good 2nd of 10 in a 2650m Class B at Divonne-les-Bains on 22 August, her first start since the spell. Will have progressed for the race and considering the entry, can compete for the win
Summary: Winner of 2 of his last 3, both in excellent order, it is easy to like KAVRIK DE GUEZ (11) for the hat-trick. He will still face resistance from the well-engaged KAVALE ERCA (14) who has been held back for this, and KENJY DE LA VALLEE (9) who is plainly close to his race. Unplaced behind the latter last month, KALLISTEE (3) showed improvement just last week and will be expected to get in on the action.

C8 – PRIX DE LA REGION AUVERGNE RHONE-ALPES – 2100m (a1m1/4) – Class F – Harness – EUR € 24,000 - JADE DE PAME – 11th of 13 when being prepared for this in a 2900m Chateauroux Class F conditioner 2.5 weeks ago. Not ideally-drawn on the inside but is hard to knock when barefoot and must be taken seriously
- JAZZ VERONE – Disappointing in 2 since placing at Laval in August, latterly last of 13 behind JADE DE PAME (1) in a 2900m Chateauroux Class F 2.5 weeks ago. Goes barefoot for Feurs bow and is worth keeping an eye on
- JOLISSIME ELDE – Ran 2nd of 15 in a 2300m Marseille-Borely Class E 2 weeks ago before being disqualified. Boasts solid Feurs credentials though, is shod to preference, and well-positioned to make a big impact
- IN VIVO – Starts for the first time since coming 3rd of 16 in a 2850m Laval Class D on 20 June. Makes a long trip for his return run but is plainly in competition-mode and has a reasonable chance of imposing
- JACKASS LATIN – Ran 3rd on re-entry before missing out by little in a 2525m Cavaillon Class E on 19 September. Is plainly close to his race and is thoroughly capable of winning a race of this nature
- JADE MAJOR – 6th of 9 finishers in a 2950m Vichy amateurs Class G in late-August. Is no slouch on a good day, has form here, but others still preferred
- HARMONIA THE BEST – Makes first appearance since being eliminated in a 2150m Vichy Class E on 25 June. Has been off the boil for some time and can be passed over
- JANGA DU BELLAY – Placed in 2 before finishing last but one in a 2650m Carpentras Class F 11 days ago. Should not be too quickly-judged. Breaks wide but can still be brought back into the fold. First 5
- JACKPOT DE VIETTE – Got back in the winners’ circle last Sunday in a 2500m Bihorel-les-Rouen amateurs Class H but takes on a much tougher task this time around
- HILKA DE BERTRANGE – Sprang a 68-1 surprise when 4th of 11 in a 3000m Nantes Class F on 26 September, however a repeat performance seems unlikely
- JUVARI DU QUENNE – 5th of 16 in a 2625m Class E at Châlons-en-Champagne on 21 September and under these conditions will have nothing to contribute
Summary: JACKASS LATIN (5) has something of a love-hate affair with Feurs but he went close in both return runs and from the 5-spot can wrap this up. Laurent Lamazière will however be mindful of the similarly well-positioned IN VIVO (4) who runs barefoot on his first start since the summer break, and a padded JOLISSIME ELDE (3) who finished close at Borely early this month only to be subsequently disqualified. Barefoot after a much-needed freshener, JADE DE PAME (1) will be reined by Lucas Verriere who won with her at Parilly in June.

C1 – PRIX COURANT D’AIR – 2400m (a1m1/2) – TURF – Condition – Flat – EUR € 13,700
- MASTER VILLE – Ran 3rd in a Conditions race over 2300m at Angers on 22 September. Ran on well behind a decent sort and should improve
- MICAWBER – Finished 4th in a Conditions race over 2300m at Le Mans on 12 September. That was a promising debut and with Cristian Demuro in irons looks the runner to beat
- MERCALINE – Finished 2nd in a Conditions race over 2500m at Saint-Malo on 18 August. Ran well last time and is not without a chance
- MALICA DE THAIX – Well held 5th in a Conditions race over 2400m at La-Roche on 28 September. Takes on stronger this time
- MARINELLO – Unraced 3yo gelding by Prince Gibraltar out of Cokoriko mare Fun Girl trained by Francois Nicolle. Dam’s 2nd foal, 1st foal has a win and 4 places from 6 starts

- MADRINHA ROSA – Unraced 3yo filly by Racinger out of Fragrant Mix trained by Alain Couetil. Dam’s 2nd foal, 1st foal is a two-time winner.
Summary: Trainer François Nicolle is double-fisted in this field and it would come as no surprise were his pair to fight out the finish. MICAWBER (2) had a promising debut run and the engagement of Cristian Demuro probably makes him the pick of the duo. MARINELLO (5) is a well-bred first-timer who could make his mark, while in-form Alain Couetil also has an interesting newcomer in MADRINHA ROSA (7). MASTER VILLE (1) must have a chance despite top weight.
