- JARATATA DU DORAT – Fifth in a claiming chase at Compiegne on October 2nd over 3900m when last seen. Hard to be enthusiastic about
Summary: ICI AVRILLY (9) has been racing over regulation and cross-country fences recently. She was unfortunate to fall 13 days ago, but if non the worse, she can make amends and get back on track today. She is preferred ahead of ACTION SPECIALE (6), who was a decent second two runs back at this track and can be on the premises. KAPWOOD (4) has been absent since scoring over fences in May at Lyon Parilly and can be involved if fit to go. J’AI LA COTE (2) is another to consider.

Summary: EDAMURA (2) ran a pleasing race in the Prix Georges De Talhouet-Roy Hurdle (Grade 2) at Auteuil on October 12th on his last start and can edge this over the useful WILD BILL HICKOK (1), who is a threat. He was back in seventh in the same race but is best judged on his success in a Listed hurdle at Auteuil in May. DUC DE ROCHE (5) has two wins from only three starts, the latest success was over fences in a Class 2 at Auteuil last month. He can be involved, as can NOIRE WULF (7).

BEAUBOURG (3) is a live danger after a pleasing second at Auteuil in a Listed hurdle on September 9th. PARFUM D’UNE REINE (12) has a good racing weight and is a solid option each way. - GALINETTE BLEUE – Unreliable but did run well when fourth in Class D at Vincennes over 2850m on 26 September. Should be a lively threat
- FOX TROT CERISE – Only modest of late and finished 7th in Class B at Divonne-Les-Bains over 2675m on 22 August. More is needed to win this race
- GEDEON DAIRPET – Did not show his best when unplaced in Class D at Caen over 2465m on 11 October. FItter this time and could earn some money
- GAUCHO DE HOUELLE – Did not show his best when 6th in Class D at this track over 3000m on 20 September. Capable of better but others are preferred
- ADAMO DIPA – Only modest of late and finished 5th in Class C at Lyon-Parilly over 2850m on 9 October. Could play a minor role
- HEYDAY – Victorious last time out in Class D at Castera-Verduzan over 2825m on 13 October. Not reliable but can make the frame
- HERAKLION – Disqualified twice in a row, the latest at this track over 3000m on 20 September. Capable of earning some money when smart
- HIVER D’AUTHISE – Did not show his best when 6th in a Class D mounted race at Marseille-Borely over 3025m on 10 October. Capable of better and can get into the mix of things
- FIGARO GRAVE – Did not show his best when 8th in Class D at this track over 3000m on 20 Seprember. Capable of better but others are preferred
- HASARD – Battling to find best form and was unplaced in Class E at Angers over 3150m on 1 October. Others make more appeal
Summary: A very competitive lucky last race. FORREST GUMP SET (1) is talented but does not always show it; however, he can bounce back from a recent fault at Graignes to win a race of this nature. GALINETTE BLEUE (5) put in a good performance at Vincennes last month and can contest the finish again. HIVER D’AUTHISE (12) will do better back in harness company and would not be a surprise winner. HEYDAY (10) is also capable of winning

C1 – PRIX DES BERGERONNETTES – 2750m (a1m1/2) – Class E – Harness – EUR € 26,000
- KELLE ALLURE – Eliminated in a 2750m Lisieux claimer on 5 October. Shoes on and can be ruled out
- KANELLE – Surprise 2nd of 15 in a 2725m Lisieux Class F 3 weeks ago. Steps back up in category and can expect to find this a stiff test
- KENDAYA – Won 2 of last 3, most recently a 2400m Domfront Class F in late-July. Stays shod for comeback though and best to wait
- KALIE PRIMO – Ran good 2nd at Caen last month before finishing last but one in a 3125m Angers Class D on 1 October. A big-gun drafted in for the occasion and is unlikely to let the side down
- KARINA JOSSELYN – Sprang a 37-1 surprise when 3rd of 16 in a 3000m Nantes Class F on 6 October. Is shod as she was that day but is unlikely to confirm
- KAROLINA DI SEMBLE – 11th of 16 behind KARINA JOSSELYN (5) in a 3000m Nantes Class F on 6 October. Is better than latest numbers might imply and if fully fit can go close
- KIM DE BEAUM – Returns to the provinces after running 9th of 15 in a 2875m Enghien Class E earlier in the month. Is a tough nut when focused, has been entrusted to Yoann Lebourgeois, and drops in category with a decent hand to play
- KALINE DE COSSE – 4th of 18 in a 3275m Saumur Class E last weekend, her first start since June 2024. Will have progressed for the run but would still be preferred unshod-behind
- KAMELIA DU CORTA – Capricious but capable mare that ran a decent 4th of 13 in a 2450m Caen Class E 2 weeks ago. Is hard to fault when focused, races barefoot for the first time, and will have a claim on the silverware
- KALAMA DE BEYLEV – Has not been seen out since running 7th of 14 in a 2600m Class E at Divonne-les-Bains on 21 August. Shoes off for re-entry, goes well right-handed, but still no more than a minor place chance
- KORIGANE D’ERABLE – Starts for first time since coming 6th of 17 in a 2800m Vire Class E on 1 September. Has been off the boil over recent months and even though barefoot will have few takers
- KHALEESI LA VIE – Eliminated in a 2825m Chartres Class E 9 days ago. Is not without merit but will first need to reaffirm her credentials
- KISS ME DU LIVET – 9th of 12, on return to competition, in a Class D over course and distance in late-August. Shoes off this time and is not incapable of getting in on the action
- KOMINA – Not quite at ease when 7th of 15, on return from a spell, in a 2875m Enghien Class E just over 2 weeks ago. Has enjoyed a fruitful season and is in with a realistic shout of winning this
- KUTARA MICHE – Quality mare that ran 10th of 15 in a 2700m Le Croise-Laroche Class E conditioner early this month. Has otherwise been in flying form, adores Cabourg, and even though in better company can play an active role
- KALANSKA – 4th of 13 in a 2850m Vincennes Class E a month ago. Always gives what she can, appreciates Cabourg, sports a fresh configuration, and considering the entry, is worth monitoring
Summary: A fine campaigner for the most part, KOMINA (14) did not enjoy the best of runs earlier in the month but is back racing right-handed and can make this her own. Anthony Dollion will still be mindful of a first-time-barefoot KAMELIA DU CORTA (9) who was similarly unlucky at Caen last time, and KAROLINA DI SEMBLE (6) who is also barefoot following her Nantes re-entry. Excellent in Caen last month, KALIE PRIMO (4) warmed up for this at Angers, sports modified shoeing, and the Mathieu Mottier-factor must be taken into account.

C2 – PRIX DES FAISANS – 2750m (a1m1/2) – Class D – Harness – EUR € 25,000 - LILY GINYU – Returns to racing clockwise after being eliminated in a 2725m Graignes Class E a month back, but still has little to offer
- LIKE A PRAYER – Quality filly that was eliminated, on comeback, in a 2400m Amiens Class E on 20 September. Will have come on for the race, should take well to Cabourg conditions, and will be expected to play an active role
- LARISSA DU VIVIER – Close 2nd of 13 to LOLLIPOP MIJACK (15) in a Class E under these conditions on 4 October. Quality filly with a bright future and from the 3-spot can exact revenge
- LOLITA ROLAU – Unexceptional 6th of 14 in a 2750m Angouleme Class E 3 weeks ago and is unlikely to make her presence felt
- LOVE ME DE DUSSAC – Back under harness after running 3rd of 18 in a monte Class E over track and trip on 2 October. Breaks in front but still not a priority
- LIBERTE HAUFOR – Steps up in category after easily winning a 2800m Tours Class F on 7 September. Has had time to freshen up, is competitively-shod for the first time, and despite the hike in category must be taken seriously
- L’ABEILLE DU DOME – Continued her productive streak when 3rd of 16 in a Class D over course and distance mid-month. Has been knocking at the door over recent weeks and must be afforded respect
- LALOU D’AMOUR – Placed twice before running in a disappointing 8th of 14 in a 2400m Amiens Class E on 20 September. Benefits from a terrific entry and Christophe Clin will be eager to take advantage
- LA CHENEVIERE – Has not been seen out since being eliminated in a monte Class F under these conditions in mid-August. Shod for the occasion and will need the race
- LYSANDRA – 6th of 13 in a 2200m Caen Class D a fortnight ago. Is not the most courageous of fillies and others preferred
- L’ETOILE DE ROCHE – Sprang a 42-1 surprise when 3rd of 13 to LOLLIPOP MIJACK (15) in a Class E under these conditions on 4 October. On 2nd row again but will generate more interest this time around
- LAGUNA SECA – Tricky sort that ran good 2nd of 14 in a 2100m Vincennes Class E 2.5 weeks ago. Reverts to a previous formula but is reunited with Mathieu Mottier who placed with her on their lone association. First 5
- LADY MAJOR – 2nd of 12 in a 2050m Class D here on 22 August. Fine campaigner when competitively-shod but is fitted with shoes following the spell and can be passed over
- LETTRE D’ERABLE – Quickly eliminated in a 2450m Caen Class E on 20 September. Has otherwise been in cracking form but races shod this time and best to hold off
- LOLLIPOP MIJACK – Ran 3rd at Châteauroux before holding on to win a Class E over course and distance 3 weeks ago. Incurs the penalty once more but still looks a serious proposition
- LA STAR DES ISLES – Useful filly starting for the first time since running 5th of 8 finishers in a 2950m Vichy Class D last June. Shoes fitted and not a concern
Summary: Unbeaten in 2 last year, LARISSA DU VIVIER (3) has returned to competition in fine shape and will attempt to turn the tables on reconfigured 2nd-row starter LOLLIPOP MIJACK (15) who just had her measure here earlier in the month. The good LIKE A PRAYER (2) has a race under her belt since the break, enjoys a front-line start, and with application is unlikely to disappoint. Third under these conditions 10 days ago, L’ABEILLE DU DOME (7) has hardly put a foot wrong all year and can again finish close.

C3 – PRIX DE FAUVILLE EN CAUX – 2725m (a1m1/2) – Class E – Harness – EUR € 33,000 - HELALI DE MONTCEAU – Drops down the category-ladder, and sports pads for the occasion, after running 8th of 12 in a 2550m Reims Class F 2 weeks ago. Starts in front and can play a small role
- ITALIANO DI PAO – 5th of 18 in a 2700m Segre Class D 3 weeks ago. Has been giving a good account for the most part since the spring and, very much at home here, will be expected to pick up a cheque
- IROISE DE MADKER – Should not be too hastily-condemned for faulting in a 2700m Segre Class D on 5 October. Reined by Yoann Lebourgeois when victorious in her only start here and must be considered a contender
- GAROU LIONNAIS – Produced a 33-1 surprise when 2nd of 14 in a 2875m Enghien Class D on 6 October. Enjoys a good spot behind the car and looks main threat to IASELMA (5)
- IASELMA – Just missed out on the hat-trick when 2nd of 12 in a 2875m Enghien Class D 2.5 weeks ago. Appreciates Cabourg and looks the pick of the field
- HIPPARIS – 6th of 11 finishers in a 2650m Carpentras Class F 3 weeks ago. Unraced here for over 3 years and is unlikely to shake things up
- HUITRE D’OR – Unexceptional mare that ran 6th of 15, a place behind GRANIT DU MONT (9), in a 3250m Class F at Saint-Ouen-des-Toits on 13 September, and is unlikely to create an upset
- ISERE – 3rd of 9 in a 2900m Amiens Class E 3 weeks ago. Is confirmed here, consistently gives her best, and will be expected to finish close once more
- GRANIT DU MONT – Out of the picture in last 2, latterly 9th of 12, a place behind HELALI DE MONTCEAU (1), in a 2550m Reims Class F a fortnight ago, and can be confidently ruled out
- HOTESSE NAY – 4th of 11 in a 2600m Class E at Le Mont-Saint-Michel on 17 August. Comes here fresh, barefoot, and ready to get down to business. First 5
- HOUSTON PEJI – Surprise 2nd at Bernay but unable to repeat when 8th of 18 behind ITALIANO DI PAO (2) in a 2700m Segre Class D 3 weeks ago, and is not an obvious choice
- ILARIA KILY – Raced better in a Class D under these conditions on 2 October than her 7th of 16 would suggest. Seldom disappoints when focused and Franck Nivard will be intent on setting the record straight
- IRIS DU PERCHE – Starts for the first time since finishing last of 13 behind HOUSTON PEJI (11) in a 2800m Bernay Class F in late-August. Shoes fitted and no threat
- HARFAN DES GRANGES – Hardy element making first appearance since finishing last but one in a 2875m Enghien Class D in mid-June, and with shoes on will have nothing to offer
Summary: After winning a brace in the provinces, IASELMA (5) produced a fine performance at Enghien and, twice a winner over course and distance, is easy to fancy for a third. GAROU LIONNAIS (4) has done nothing but improve lately, sports modified shoeing, and a repeat of his latest performance would see him challenge for the win. Winner on her Cabourg debut during the summer, IROISE DE MADKER (3) will have an important part to play provided she stays in stride. ISERE (8) may have been handed an unfavourable draw but in current condition, she is hard to ignore.

- LOOKING CLASS – Modest individual that was eliminated in a 2500m Class F at Bihorel-lès-Rouen last Sunday. Has demonstrated little aptitude for either code and can be ignored
- LOUSTIC HERBLINAIE – 5th of 15 in a 2900m Challans Class F on 12 October. Will have come on for the race but in this company will have his work cut out
- LOVIOU JOSSELYN – Failed to confirm Le Mans performance when eliminated in a 2850m Class F at Lyon-Parilly last Sunday. Has yet to deliver in the day’s configuration and is unlikely to turn over a new leaf
- LIKE THE WIND – Came good at Graignes last weekend when victorious in a 2700m Class F. Takes on a better lot here but has bags of ability and on good behaviour can finish in the mix
- LOVE DE BEAULIEU – Eliminated in a 2825m Class E at Le Croise-Laroche late last month. Not the most performant of horses and appears to be taking on too much
- LARSON DU MARNIS – 6th of 15 in a 2900m Challans Class F a fortnight ago. Has yet to deliver in this branch of the business and is not about to change his ways
- LAGOS DE VAL – Switches code for first time after having run 2nd of 14 in a 3150m Saint-Brieuc Class F a fortnight back. Entrusted to the jockey of the moment and can finally lose his maiden tag
- LABEL JAYF – Takes first monte steps in public after finishing 8th of 14 in a 2950m Le Mans Class F a fortnight ago. Is not the most talented of individuals though and will need to raise his game
- LEGEND DREAM – In the frame in last 2, most recently 3rd of 18, a place behind L’AMI PRODIGIEUX (18), in a Class E over course and distance early this month. Is unlikely to get off the mark but should nevertheless hold his own
- LOOPING PEJI – Disappointing since winning under these conditions in August, latterly eliminated in a 2800m Vire Class F on 13 October. Did impose here in August though and will have his supporters
- LIEUTENANT COLONEL – 7th of 16 in a 2700m Graignes Class F a week ago. Has done nothing of note since April and even racing barefoot will have few friends
- LABRAX DU SKY – 2nd of 17 in a 2825m Durtal harness Class F a fortnight ago, on just 2nd start for new team. Sports a new configuration and can get in on the action if he stays trotting
- LARGO DE LA BESSE – Returns to racing barefoot after running 9th of 16 in a 2200m Caen harness Class D a fortnight ago. Is not easy to handle but with stride in check can contest the finish
- L’AS TEJY – Back under the saddle after finishing 10th of 16 in a 2200m Caen Class D 2 weeks ago. Showed last winter that he can trot when in the mood but latest numbers do little to inspire confidence
- LUCKY NUMBER – 6th of 14 in a 2875m Enghien Class D late last month. Should take well to the new profile and Christopher Corbineau will be keen to make hay. Minor place prospect
- LUCKY BAZOQUAIN – Quality element that ran 2nd of 10 in a 2775m Class E at Les Sables-d’Olonne 3 weeks ago. Is new to the venue, but is proven racing right-handed, and can figure prominently
- L’AMI PRODIGIEUX – 2nd of 18 in a Class E over course and distance early this month. Is plainly close to winning another and despite the handicap still looks principal threat to LAGOS DE VAL (8)
Summary: A fine gelding with bags of potential, LAGOS DE VAL (8) has been knocking at the door since his July debut; he switches code for the first time, with Mathieu Mottier in the irons, and from the front row has every chance of getting off the mark. L’AMI PRODIGIEUX (18) has taken particularly well to the discipline, left a good impression here recently, and considering the entry, will have his chances. LARGO DE LA BESSE (14) has bags of ability, is barefoot for his first objective of the autumn, and will be no pushover if Adrien Lamy keeps him focused. Back racing clockwise after having reassured at les Sables-d’Olonne, LUCKY BAZOQUAIN (17) benefits from a good entry and with application can go far.

C5 – PRIX DES ORCHIDEES – 2725m (a1m1/2) – Class E Amateur Riders – Harness – EUR € 23,000 - JOHANA DU GUESCLIN – Imposed at Laval in September before running 7th of 15 in a 2700m Vincennes Class E 3 weeks ago. Is less-exalted company this time and will be no soft touch if she takes to Cabourg conditions
- JAMAICA D’OYSE – Oddly below-par 7th of 14 in a 2400m Amiens Class F on 4 October. Is well-placed behind the car though and Thomas Roussin has a solid chance of making amends. First 5
- JADE VENESI – Reassuring 6th of 14 in a 2800m Cholet monte Class G late last month. Sports pads this time but others still easier to back
- JOYCE DREAM – Would have finished closer than 6th of 15 in a 2150m Enghien Class E earlier this month had she been afforded a run. Plainly in fine form and can impose if kept out of trouble
- JUDITH REINE – Pleased in 2 before finishing 8th of 14, a place behind JAMAICA D’OYSE (2), in a 2400m Amiens Class F on 4 October. At this level though will have nothing to contribute
- JALBA DU FER – 3rd of 12 in a 2500m Reims Class E 2 weeks ago. Is in her category, is shod to preference, and is in with a realistic shout of making the frame
- JASMINE DE GREZ – Left a good impression when 4th of 16 in a Class E over course and distance 3 weeks ago. Forced to break wide but in present shape cannot be ruled out
- JOLYA DE POMMERAYE – Disappointing lately, most recently eliminated in a 2850m Class F at Nuillé-sur-Vicoin a fortnight ago. Not ideally-drawn and is unlikely to garner much support
- JOFESCA BUISSONAY – Considerably better than her 5th of 17 in a 2825m Durtal Class F 2 weeks ago would suggest. Has only her own age group to contend with this time and can finish close if her driver successfully negotiates the start
- JAZZ SESSION – Takes a dip in category after coming 10th of 16 in a Class D over course and distance on 2 October. Boasts a fine record here and even from the 2nd line can figure prominently at the business end of the race
- JINA DE L’ORMERIE – Unthreatening 7th of 14 in a 2825m Class E at Le Croise-Laroche late last month. Has little going for her here and is unlikely to trouble the opposition
- JICKY GIRL – Eliminated at Carpentras before finishing 9th of 15 behind JOYCE DREAM (4) in a 2150m Enghien Class E on 9 October, and can expect to remain friendless in the markets
- JOLIE CLAIRE – Eliminated in last 3 starts, most recently a 2725m Lisieux Class E a month ago, and can be confidently disregarded
- JIKITA MELRIC – Eliminated on re-entry in a 2825m Durtal Class F on 12 October. Is no slouch when focused but the draw will do her no favours
Summary: Runner-up in 3 before traffic problems put paid to her chances at Enghien, JOYCE DREAM (4) enjoys a terrific entry and Kevin David will be determined to put things right. Judging by her Laval victory, JOHANA DU GUESCLIN (1) is in sufficiently good shape to apply the pressure. JOFESCA BUISSONAY (9) seldom disappoints here when applied and even though starting on the 2nd line, she will still be competitive for a place in the frame. JALBA DU FER (6) continued her productive ways at Reims recently and looks competitively well in.

- MOJITO VICTORY – 6th of 16 in 15 October race of reference and is well out of his depth. Disregard
- MOONLIGHT QUANDO – 6th of 13 behind MEYEURTO POINSTART (11) in a Class E over track and trip 3 weeks ago. Has shown little bent for either code and will bring nothing to the party
- MACISTE – Switches code for the first time after running 5th of 10 finishers in a 2750m Lisieux claimer 3 weeks ago. Looks the sort that can do well in the ridden code and the choice of jockey speaks volumes
- MISTRAL DE CERISY – Made it 2 straight harness eliminations after faulting in a 2150m Durtal Class F a fortnight ago, and debuts under the saddle with limited chances
- MAHARADJAH ROYAL – Made up for Caen blip when 4th of 16, a place behind MISTRAL DU PORET (13), in a Class F over track and trip 10 days ago, however a repeat seems improbable
- MIL REEF – Last but one behind MISTRAL DU PORET (13) in a Class F over track and trip 10 days ago. Has placed just once in 4 monte starts and is not about to spice things up
- MERARU QUANDO – Showed promise during the spring but out of the picture in latest 2, most recently 8th of 16 behind MISTRAL DU PORET (13) in a Class F over track and trip 10 days ago, and can be passed over
- MILORD DE MONTI – Opened his harness account on 21 September in a 2800m Vire Class F. Is new to the monte discipline but with the aid of Victor Saussaye can play a small part
- MY SIMON – Lost his action early, on ridden debut, in a 2250m Enghien Class E 2.5 weeks ago. Form is not in question and can play a leading role if Florian Desmigneux manages to keep him focused
- MEYEURTO POINSTART – Left a good impression on monte bow 3 weeks ago when 3rd of 13 in a Class E over track and trip. Unlikely to make the frame this time but should nevertheless give an honourable account
- MATFABEN D’ENJE – Won over course and distance in late-July before being eliminated in a Class E under similar conditions on 19 August. Returns to the venue rejuvenated and with application can contest the finish
- MISTRAL DU PORET – In the frame in last 2 monte starts, latterly 3rd of 16 in a Class F under these conditions 10 days ago. In a marginally superior category this time but still represents a respectable first-5 prospect
- MORNING SUN – 4th of 13, a place behind MEYEURTO POINSTART (11), in a Class E over track and trip 3 weeks ago. Has turned a corner since starting to race clockwise and Adrien Lamy is unlikely to go home empty-handed
- MEADOWLANDS – 6th of 15 in a 2525m harness Class D conditioner at Les Andelys in mid-September. Seems to have a future in the discipline and Mathieu Mottier will be primed to prove the point
Summary: A quality colt, MEADOWLANDS (15) has a pair of harness runs in him since the break. He ran 2nd at Caen on his lone monte outing and if he stays in stride, Mathieu Mottier should have this in the bag. That being said, the tricky but talented MATFABEN D’ENJE (12) won here before being sent for a rest and Paul Ploquin will be minded to get him straight back on track. Solid under harness, MY SIMON (10) lost his action early on his monte debut but subsequently showed his form and Florian Desmigneux can be quietly confident. Guillaume Martin gets to debut MACISTE (4) in the discipline and looks good enough to challenge for a place on the podium.

- MEDINA DREAM – Got off the mark at Bagnoles-de-l’Orne in August but failed to repeat when eliminated in a 2700m Segre Class F 3 weeks ago. On good behaviour though should not be far from the action
- MARJOLAINE DU RIB – Eliminated in a 2850m Laval Class E a month ago. Lost her way during the summer and has yet to show signs of a return to form
- MOONSTAR JYL – Eliminated in a 2275m Nantes Class E on 6 October. Paul Ploquin takes over and will be competitive if he can keep her trotting
- MAJESTE ROYALE – Placed in 3 before losing her action in a 2725m Class E here on 2 October, and in this company will need to find more
- MANILLE SOMOLLI – Below-par 8th of 10 finishers behind MALICIA DU ROCHER (12) in a 2275m Nantes Class E on 6 October. Has otherwise been hard to knock and must not be underestimated
- MAMZELLE DREAM – Tenacious 5th of 14, a place behind MANILLE SOMOLLI (6), in a 2450m Caen Class E on 20 September. Will not be available at 58-1 this time but will not be as competitive either
- MINOUCHE ERCA – Lost her maiden status at Lisieux in September but finished last but one in a 2725m Class E here on 2 October and will need to show marked improvement
- MACCHIAVELLA – Reassuring 4th of 13 in a 2275m Nantes Class E conditioner on 6 October. Top driver in the bike this time and with application can make a big splash
- MIDNIGHT CHENU – Quality filly that was eliminated on re-entry in a 3125m Angers Class D early this month. David Thomain in the bike this time and can win this if he gets her off on the right foot
- MILKA DES THUYAS – Opened her account at Le Croisé-Laroche in September but could finish no closer than 7th of 16 in a 2150m Enghien Class D 2.5 weeks ago, and is not an obvious choice
- MALICIA DU ROCHER – 3rd at Laval before repeating in a 2275m Nantes Class E on 6 October. Enjoys a good entry and with her trainer reining is sure to be given a competitive drive. Place prospect
- MILADY DE MONTCEAU – 10th of 16 behind MILKA DES THUYAS (11) in a 2150m Enghien Class D 2.5 weeks ago. Out of the picture in last 3 and can be ruled out
- MA BRISE TIME – Courageous 3rd of 15 in a 2550m Cherbourg Class E on 18 August. Has done everything asked of her so far, comes here fresh, and considering the entry must be retained
Summary: Pierre Pellerot is well-represented here with the promising MIDNIGHT CHENU (10) whose recent return run will have done her a world of good, and the delicate but serious MACCHIAVELLA (9) who reassured earlier in the month and who receives a Yoann Lebourgeois drive for the first time. MALICIA DU ROCHER (12) is clearly back at her best and takes her first Cabourg steps with a good hand to play. MOONSTAR JYL (4) may have lost her action last time out but she showed her form at Cholet and with her mind on the game will not be far off the mark.

- MOUMBA DE GUEZ – Last of 7 finishers, on debut, behind MADISON MONNERIE (16) in a 2400m Chateaubriant Class F on 14 September. Will have come on for the run and cannot be ruled out
- MELODIE DES ARCS – Made it 4 eliminations in 5 starts when faulting in a 2800m Cholet harness Class F late last month and not a priority on ridden bow
- MEZQUITA – Makes first appearance since running 6th of 8 finishers in a 2950m Saint-Malo Class F last April, and is not about to shake things up
- MALOUINES QUESNOT – Courageous 6th of 15, a place behind MALLAURY D’AVEL (14), in a 2250m Enghien Class E on 9 October. Is plainly better than that though and is worth keeping an eye on
- MUSE DE BEYLEV – Won a 2450m Caen harness Class G in good order on 6 October. Top jockey aboard for monté debut and the double is a distinct possibility
- MOOREA BOND – Takes to the monte code for first time after coming 6th of 10 finishers in a 2750m Lisieux harness claimer 3 weeks ago and appears to be out of her league
- MALDA DU RIB – Returns to the monte discipline after coming last of 10 finishers in a 2650m Alencon Class F last weekend and is not about to cause an upset
- MELODIE DU VIROIS – Last but one on re-entry in a 2450m Caen Class E on 17 September. Has had time to get in shape, has shown promise under harness, and with application can give MUSE DE BEYLEV (8) something to think about
- MIMI D’AUVILLIER – Quickly eliminated in a 2450m Caen Class E on 20 September. 4th in both monte starts here but still has more to find
- MAYA DES CAILLONS – Reassuring 2nd of 12 in a 2600m Savenay Class F on 28 September. Takes to a hard surface for the first time and others preferred
- MALLAURY D’AVEL – 3rd on re-entry a month back before running 5th of 15 in a 2250m Enghien Class E on 9 October. Has no clockwise references but will be fit by now and Paul Ploquin will assure here every chance. Place prospect
- MIRMANDE DEL PHEDO – Sent for a spell after winning her monte debut at Agon-Coutainville in July. 5th of 13 on comeback in a 2275m Nantes harness Class E, will have progressed for the race, and has a decent chance of making the frame
- MADISON MONNERIE – Steps up in category after coming 2nd of 8 finishers in a Class F under these conditions 10 days ago. Is confirmed here, enjoys a fine entry, and Francois Lagadeuc rides. Firsts 5
Summary: Eliminated in her first 2 starts, MUSE DE BEYLEV (8) got off the mark with an excellent harness performance at Caen earlier this month and the engagement of Mathieu Mottier will only enhance her prospects. He will still be keeping a watchful eye on the promising MELODIE DU VIROIS (11) who gets a Guillaume Martin ride for her monte debut, and MIRMANDE DEL PHEDO (15) who won her only start under the saddle. MALLAURY D’AVEL (14) has shown a lot of potential and warrants considerable respect.
SELECTIONS – MUSE DE BEYLEV (8) – MELODIE DU VIROIS (11) – MIRMANDE DEL PHEDO (15) – MALLAURY D’AVEL (14)
