    Summary: ICI AVRILLY (9) has been racing over regulation and cross-country fences recently. She was unfortunate to fall 13 days ago, but if non the worse, she can make amends and get back on track today. She is preferred ahead of ACTION SPECIALE (6), who was a decent second two runs back at this track and can be on the premises. KAPWOOD (4) has been absent since scoring over fences in May at Lyon Parilly and can be involved if fit to go. J’AI LA COTE (2) is another to consider.

  16. JUST HAPPY – Placed 3rd at this track in a Class 1 hurdle on October 2nd over 3400m on her last start. Others make more appeal
  17. NOIRE WULF – Fair effort to be 2nd over 3400m in a Class 1 hurdle at this track on October 2nd. Capable of making an impact
    Summary: EDAMURA (2) ran a pleasing race in the Prix Georges De Talhouet-Roy Hurdle (Grade 2) at Auteuil on October 12th on his last start and can edge this over the useful WILD BILL HICKOK (1), who is a threat. He was back in seventh in the same race but is best judged on his success in a Listed hurdle at Auteuil in May. DUC DE ROCHE (5) has two wins from only three starts, the latest success was over fences in a Class 2 at Auteuil last month. He can be involved, as can NOIRE WULF (7).

    Summary: CHARMAVEL (13) could be the answer to this open-looking handicap hurdle race. He was a decent second at Clairefontaine in early September on his penultimate start and will be hard to beat if emulating that run. BEAUBOURG (3) is a live danger after a pleasing second at Auteuil in a Listed hurdle on September 9th. PARFUM D’UNE REINE (12) has a good racing weight and is a solid option each way. KEL STORY (11) ran well when third at this venue 23 days ago over hurdles and can be involved. VENTURA HIGHWAY (10) is also worth a mention.

  40. MARY SHELLEY – She was a decent 2nd over 3450m in a Class 2 chase at this track behind METRONOMIQUE (1) on her last start when given a lot to do. She can get a lot closer today and can be involved
    Summary: METRONOMIQUE (1) has won twice at this track over fences. The latter was in a Class 2 event 23 days ago when allowed to dictate affairs. He is capable of making it a hat-trick of wins. MARY SHELLEY (8) was back in second when they met 23 days ago and was ridden with restraint that day. With a more positive ride, she can make the selection work hard for success. GEMMA INVICTA (7) has performed well over hurdles and can have a say on her chasing debut.

The slight step up in trip shouldn’t pose any issues, and he can extend his winning run. IMPRESSIVE (5), runner-up in that same race, looks the main danger. He gets the vote ahead of GOLD TWEET (2), who finished sixth in a Listed hurdle at Auteuil 18 days ago and is open to improvement. KYROV (4) has been consistent with three recent placings, the latest a fourth in that same Listed event. BREXIT (6) is another to consider.

LOVELY GUY (7) is a threat and will not lack fitness after a fourth at this track in a Class 1 chase 23 days ago. AMARNA (2) is one for the each-way backers to look at.   4. BARISTO – Winner over 1800m at Salon-De-Provence in a maiden on the 30th of September 2025. Work cut out to challenge here
  5. HABIBI – Winner over 1600m at Toulouse in a maiden on the 24th of September 2025. Should run a bold race
  6. DELICADA – Runner up over 1950m at Le Mans in a Class 2 on the 6th of October 2025. Can run into the money
  7. BLUES MOON – Dam remained a maiden after eighteen attempts and this colt hails from a yard that aren’t known for debut winners. Will struggle here
    Summary: YSER (1) romped home on debut and could well be up to the task at hand straight out the maidens. He ticks a lot of boxes and despite dropping in trip slightly, he can certainly remain unbeaten. HABIBI (5) put her debut effort behind her when landing the spoils last time out and she will run a big race. VALPOVO (3) relished the step up in trip last time out when winning and he needs to be taken seriously once again. VAN BLUTCH (2) performed with plenty of credit last time out and should be right in the thick of things once again.

    Summary: AQUA AUGUSTA (3) is better than her rather indifferent latest performance and despite having not won this year, she has posted some cracking runs and will be a major player. MOON WOLF (6) ran a pleasing race last time out and a repeat effort could well see him featuring strongly. MISTER GATZ (7) has been holding solid form at a useful level and wasn’t beaten far last time out so should have every chance of mounting a serious threat. TRABUCO (1) is a proven performer and should be involved for the minor spots.

    Summary: LANAKEN (4) is in prime form at present and ran with plenty of credit on Arc day. He is neatly drawn and should deliver a huge effort. FELIX AUX ORMES (8) finished just behind the top choice last time out and on overall form, he can get involved in the action. LAITH (5) is a bit erratic but ran a blinder two starts back and a repeat performance could see him playing a role in the outcome. LE MATELOT (6) is lightly raced and remains with plenty of scope for improvement which could see him mount a strong challenge despite being up in class.

    Summary: A fine campaigner for the most part, KOMINA (14) did not enjoy the best of runs earlier in the month but is back racing right-handed and can make this her own. Anthony Dollion will still be mindful of a first-time-barefoot KAMELIA DU CORTA (9) who was similarly unlucky at Caen last time, and KAROLINA DI SEMBLE (6) who is also barefoot following her Nantes re-entry.     Summary: A fine gelding with bags of potential, LAGOS DE VAL (8) has been knocking at the door since his July debut; he switches code for the first time, with Mathieu Mottier in the irons, and from the front row has every chance of getting off the mark. L’AMI PRODIGIEUX (18) has taken particularly well to the discipline, left a good impression here recently, and considering the entry, will have his chances. LARGO DE LA BESSE (14) has bags of ability, is barefoot for his first objective of the autumn, and will be no pushover if Adrien Lamy keeps him focused.   86. MERARU QUANDO – Showed promise during the spring but out of the picture in latest 2, most recently 8th of 16 behind MISTRAL DU PORET (13) in a Class F over track and trip 10 days ago, and can be passed over
  87. MILORD DE MONTI – Opened his harness account on 21 September in a 2800m Vire Class F. Is new to the monte discipline but with the aid of Victor Saussaye can play a small part
  88. MY SIMON – Lost his action early, on ridden debut, in a 2250m Enghien Class E 2.5 weeks ago. Form is not in question and can play a leading role if Florian Desmigneux manages to keep him focused
  89. MEYEURTO POINSTART – Left a good impression on monte bow 3 weeks ago when 3rd of 13 in a Class E over track and trip. Unlikely to make the frame this time but should nevertheless give an honourable account
  90. MATFABEN D’ENJE – Won over course and distance in late-July before being eliminated in a Class E under similar conditions on 19 August. Returns to the venue rejuvenated and with application can contest the finish
  91. MISTRAL DU PORET – In the frame in last 2 monte starts, latterly 3rd of 16 in a Class F under these conditions 10 days ago. In a marginally superior category this time but still represents a respectable first-5 prospect
  92. MORNING SUN – 4th of 13, a place behind MEYEURTO POINSTART (11), in a Class E over track and trip 3 weeks ago. Has turned a corner since starting to race clockwise and Adrien Lamy is unlikely to go home empty-handed
  93. MEADOWLANDS – 6th of 15 in a 2525m harness Class D conditioner at Les Andelys in mid-September. Seems to have a future in the discipline and Mathieu Mottier will be primed to prove the point
    Summary: A quality colt, MEADOWLANDS (15) has a pair of harness runs in him since the break. He ran 2nd at Caen on his lone monte outing and if he stays in stride, Mathieu Mottier should have this in the bag. That being said, the tricky but talented MATFABEN D’ENJE (12) won here before being sent for a rest and Paul Ploquin will be minded to get him straight back on track. Solid under harness, MY SIMON (10) lost his action early on his monte debut but subsequently showed his form and Florian Desmigneux can be quietly confident. Guillaume Martin gets to debut MACISTE (4) in the discipline and looks good enough to challenge for a place on the podium.

  96. MARJOLAINE DU RIB – Eliminated in a 2850m Laval Class E a month ago. Lost her way during the summer and has yet to show signs of a return to form
  97. MOONSTAR JYL – Eliminated in a 2275m Nantes Class E on 6 October. Paul Ploquin takes over and will be competitive if he can keep her trotting
  98. MAJESTE ROYALE – Placed in 3 before losing her action in a 2725m Class E here on 2 October, and in this company will need to find more
  99. MANILLE SOMOLLI – Below-par 8th of 10 finishers behind MALICIA DU ROCHER (12) in a 2275m Nantes Class E on 6 October. Has otherwise been hard to knock and must not be underestimated
  100. MAMZELLE DREAM – Tenacious 5th of 14, a place behind MANILLE SOMOLLI (6), in a 2450m Caen Class E on 20 September. Will not be available at 58-1 this time but will not be as competitive either
  101. MINOUCHE ERCA – Lost her maiden status at Lisieux in September but finished last but one in a 2725m Class E here on 2 October and will need to show marked improvement
  102. MACCHIAVELLA – Reassuring 4th of 13 in a 2275m Nantes Class E conditioner on 6 October. Top driver in the bike this time and with application can make a big splash
  103. MIDNIGHT CHENU – Quality filly that was eliminated on re-entry in a 3125m Angers Class D early this month. David Thomain in the bike this time and can win this if he gets her off on the right foot
  104. MILKA DES THUYAS – Opened her account at Le Croisé-Laroche in September but could finish no closer than 7th of 16 in a 2150m Enghien Class D 2.5 weeks ago, and is not an obvious choice
  105. MALICIA DU ROCHER – 3rd at Laval before repeating in a 2275m Nantes Class E on 6 October. Enjoys a good entry and with her trainer reining is sure to be given a competitive drive. Place prospect
  106. MILADY DE MONTCEAU – 10th of 16 behind MILKA DES THUYAS (11) in a 2150m Enghien Class D 2.5 weeks ago. Out of the picture in last 3 and can be ruled out
  107. MA BRISE TIME – Courageous 3rd of 15 in a 2550m Cherbourg Class E on 18 August. Has done everything asked of her so far, comes here fresh, and considering the entry must be retained
    Summary: Pierre Pellerot is well-represented here with the promising MIDNIGHT CHENU (10) whose recent return run will have done her a world of good, and the delicate but serious MACCHIAVELLA (9) who reassured earlier in the month and who receives a Yoann Lebourgeois drive for the first time. MALICIA DU ROCHER (12) is clearly back at her best and takes her first Cabourg steps with a good hand to play. MOONSTAR JYL (4) may have lost her action last time out but she showed her form at Cholet and with her mind on the game will not be far off the mark.

  111. MOUMBA DE GUEZ – Last of 7 finishers, on debut, behind MADISON MONNERIE (16) in a 2400m Chateaubriant Class F on 14 September. Will have come on for the run and cannot be ruled out
  112. MELODIE DES ARCS – Made it 4 eliminations in 5 starts when faulting in a 2800m Cholet harness Class F late last month and not a priority on ridden bow
  113. MEZQUITA – Makes first appearance since running 6th of 8 finishers in a 2950m Saint-Malo Class F last April, and is not about to shake things up
  114. MALOUINES QUESNOT – Courageous 6th of 15, a place behind MALLAURY D’AVEL (14), in a 2250m Enghien Class E on 9 October. Is plainly better than that though and is worth keeping an eye on
  115. MUSE DE BEYLEV – Won a 2450m Caen harness Class G in good order on 6 October. Top jockey aboard for monté debut and the double is a distinct possibility
  116. MOOREA BOND – Takes to the monte code for first time after coming 6th of 10 finishers in a 2750m Lisieux harness claimer 3 weeks ago and appears to be out of her league
  117. MALDA DU RIB – Returns to the monte discipline after coming last of 10 finishers in a 2650m Alencon Class F last weekend and is not about to cause an upset
  118. MELODIE DU VIROIS – Last but one on re-entry in a 2450m Caen Class E on 17 September. Has had time to get in shape, has shown promise under harness, and with application can give MUSE DE BEYLEV (8) something to think about
  119. MIMI D’AUVILLIER – Quickly eliminated in a 2450m Caen Class E on 20 September. 4th in both monte starts here but still has more to find
  120. MAYA DES CAILLONS – Reassuring 2nd of 12 in a 2600m Savenay Class F on 28 September. Takes to a hard surface for the first time and others preferred
  121. MALLAURY D’AVEL – 3rd on re-entry a month back before running 5th of 15 in a 2250m Enghien Class E on 9 October. Has no clockwise references but will be fit by now and Paul Ploquin will assure here every chance. Place prospect
  122. MIRMANDE DEL PHEDO – Sent for a spell after winning her monte debut at Agon-Coutainville in July. 5th of 13 on comeback in a 2275m Nantes harness Class E, will have progressed for the race, and has a decent chance of making the frame
  123. MADISON MONNERIE – Steps up in category after coming 2nd of 8 finishers in a Class F under these conditions 10 days ago. Is confirmed here, enjoys a fine entry, and Francois Lagadeuc rides. Firsts 5
    Summary: Eliminated in her first 2 starts, MUSE DE BEYLEV (8) got off the mark with an excellent harness performance at Caen earlier this month and the engagement of Mathieu Mottier will only enhance her prospects. He will still be keeping a watchful eye on the promising MELODIE DU VIROIS (11) who gets a Guillaume Martin ride for her monte debut, and MIRMANDE DEL PHEDO (15) who won her only start under the saddle. MALLAURY D’AVEL (14) has shown a lot of potential and warrants considerable respect.
