French Selections Thursday 6th

R1 VINCENNES [L-H]

C1 – PRIX MARCEL LAURENT – 2100m (a1m1/4) – Gr2 – Harness – EUR € 120,000

  1. KOKOTE – Gr.1 and Gr.2 winner last winter but has struggled with stride woes since and even though debuting for new trainer is unlikely to generate much interest
  2. LEARN TO FLY – Made up for Gr.2 Prix Gaston Brunet disappointment when 4th of 11 in Critérium des 4 Ans. Comes here fresh and must be taken a lot more seriously this time
  3. EAST ASIA – Quality mare with nothing to prove at this level of competition. Handed a good spot behind the car and, very much a fan of Vincennes, looks principal danger to LIZA JOSSELYN (7)
  4. KOCTEL DU DAIN – Good class of trotter making first appearance since finishing close runner-up in Critérium des 5 Ans over 2850m here on 13 September. Boasts excellent speed and the draw will do his prospects no disservice
  5. EXECUTIV EK – Unseen in France since running 3rd in Gr.1 Prix Bold Eagle last January. Beat EAST ASIA (3) in a Gr.1 at Le Capannelle on 12 October and barefoot from the 5-spot can give this a good go
  6. KSAR – Has prepped well for this, most recently winning unopposed at Les Sables-d’Olonne 2.5 weeks ago. Has form at the highest level and Matthieu Abrivard will be keen to take advantage of the draw. First 5
  7. LIZA JOSSELYN – Won a brace of Gr.2s here before suffering interference and losing all chance in the Critérium des 4 Ans on 13 September. Has the class to take on her elders however and despite the draw can win this
  8. KANTO AVIS – Has not been seen since running 7th behind KOCTEL DU DAIN (4) in Criterium des 5 Ans and with shoes fitted can be confidently ruled out
  9. FALCO KILLER GAR – Makes Vincennes debut, barefoot, after coming close 2nd of 11 in an 1800m Gr.2 at La Capelle 2 months ago. Is quite clearly a horse for the future and can make a big impact if he takes to the new profile and defies the draw
  10. CHARRON – Travels south for first time after finishing last but one in a Solvalla Gr.1 last month and appears to have nothing to offer
  11. KARA POU RAFAL – In the frame in 2 of last 3 but has no place in this line-up and can be disregarded
  12. ENCIERRO (ITY) – Left a good impression here last January in Gr.1 Prix Bold Eagle but will need to show marked improvement on recent Gr.3 Prix Emile Bezière performance
  13. KNOCKONWOOD – Complicated character that has done nothing noteworthy for some time and has no realistic chance
  14. JAZZMAN (GER) – Capable type but has no references at this level. Gave a good account beating ENCIERRO (ITY) (12) in Gr.3 Prix Emile Bezière in late-September, but is still not a contender
Summary: Simply exceptional against her contemporaries in August, the classy LIZA JOSSELYN (7) was then very unlucky in the Critérium des 4 Ans the following month, but returns to Vincennes after having been afforded time to get back to her best and, shod to preference, can wrap this up if kept out of harm’s way. Leading the opposition is the better-positioned, and highly-talented, EAST ASIA (3) who will be barefoot for her return to France, and the less favourably drawn, but highly-competent, FALCO KILLER GAR (9) who will also run barefoot. KOCTEL DU DAIN (4) missed out by little in the Critérium des 5 Ans and from the 4-spot looks a serious proposition. LEARN TO FLY (2) reassured last time out and should not be far off the mark.
    SELECTIONS
    LIZA JOSSELYN (7) – EAST ASIA (3) – FALCO KILLER GAR (9) – KOCTEL DU DAIN (4)
    C2 – PRIX DE VAUMAS – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Gr3 – Harness – EUR € 66,000
  15. MOSTRA DE BANVILLE – Failed to confirm Chartres victory when eliminated in Prix Uranie. Is not without merit but reliability not her strong suit and others easier to back
  16. MARA BEST – Won a Class B at Le Croise-Laroche in early-October but was eliminated in a Class A under these conditions 3 weeks ago and is not a concern this time
  17. MARGAUX DES ARRIS – Modest filly that has done nothing of note for some time and is not about to change her ways
  18. MY LADY CASTELLE – Won 2 on the trot across town before being sent for a spell. Is unbeaten with Mathieu Mottier who will be eager to keep that fact relevant
  19. MARILOU – Surprise 5th of 10 in a 2175m Gr.2 Prix Uranie a fortnight back. Will not be sent out at 44-1 this time and can again make first 5
  20. MARQUISE DE MAGNY – Got off the mark at 10th time of asking, smartly winning a Class A under these conditions 3 weeks ago and in similar form will not be far from the action
  21. MOSAIC LIFE – Class A course-and-distance winner making first appearance since being eliminated in an Enghien Gr.3 4 months ago. Is unlikely to create an upset but should not be entirely written off either
  22. MAYA DU SURF – Should not be too hastily-condemned for coming 7th of 9 behind MARILOU (5) in 2175m Gr.2 Prix Uranie here 2 weeks ago. Has otherwise been a model of consistency and looks a solid place chance
  23. MIRISS DE GUEZ – Quality individual with a pair of conditioners under her belt. JMB reining this time and, already a Gr.3 winner over track and trip, can get the winter meeting off to a victorious start
  24. MISSANDEI – Prepared for this in a 2550m Reims Class B 2.5 weeks ago. Showed her talent a fortnight earlier and must be taken very seriously
Summary: She may be a hard horse to handle but MIRISS DE GUEZ (9) is nevertheless a filly with ample ability. She has had a pair of comeback runs and with JMB in the bike can win this. He will still be keeping a keen eye on the capable MISSANDEI (10) who ran 3rd in Gr.3 Prix de Troyes against the colts in late-September, and MAYA DU SURF (8) who has Group form at this level. MARQUISE DE MAGNY (6) steps up in category after imposing over course and distance last month and must be respected.
    SELECTIONS
    MIRISS DE GUEZ (9) – MISSANDEI (10) – MAYA DU SURF (8) – MARQUISE DE MAGNY (6)
    C3 – COUPE DES AMATEURS (GR A) – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class F Amateur Drivers – Harness – EUR € 12,000
  25. INCANTATOR – Won a similar event at Vittel on 17 August before failing to fire at Montier-en-Der a fortnight later. Failed to deliver in both previous Vincennes starts and is unlikely to create an upset
  26. JUST REMEMBER – Won a 2850m amateurs Class F at Feurs, unopposed, 3 weeks ago. Has previously imposed over the main track and is easy to fancy for the double
  27. JAVA DU PLESSIS – Gave an encouraging account at Castelsarrasin 2.5 weeks ago but failed to confirm next time and can be ruled out
  28. JUST A WINNER – Pleasantly surprising 4th of 8 finishers in a 3875m Nuillé-sur-Vicoin amateurs Class H on 13 October but under these conditions will find the going too tough
  29. IMOW ROLAU – Back in the amateur division after running 3rd in a Graignes Class F a week ago. Takes to 2700m for the first time but has shown a liking for Vincennes and can figure prominently
  30. ILOULOU JASMA – Surprisingly eliminated at Pontchateau last Saturday, interrupting a wonderful run of form, but seldom lets the side down at this level and can be backed with confidence
  31. HIMEROS DU GOUTIER – Dependable for the most part but has failed to make the frame since imposing at Mauquenchy in June and is unlikely to generate much interest
  32. JEEP DES CHARRONS – Disappointing in 3 straight amateur events before failing to deliver under the saddle at Enghien, and has no realistic chance
  33. IMPRESS ME – Has raced just once over 2700m and was forced to endure a tough trip here a month ago. Has otherwise been acquitting himself respectably and in this company looks competitively well in
  34. HERA D’ESPACE – Pleasant 5th in a Lisieux Class E last weekend. Left a good impression over the main track here 2 months ago and must not be underestimated
  35. HORS CADRE – Ran good 3rd at Alencon before flopping at Argentan last Sunday. Seen more often racing clockwise, and even though barefoot this time still looks an outsider
  36. HIDAO DE LA GOUTTE – Unremarkable in both amateur and professional ranks for some time and is not about to shake things up
  37. HAXO DE LA CHAULE – Prepped for this in a Class E on turf early last month. Flew up at Amiens a month earlier, has previously won over 2700m here, and a place in first 5 should be within his reach
  38. HATALANTE DE FLO – Returns to her category of choice following an unexceptional run at Le Mont-Saint-Michel late last month. Ran 3rd on sole start under these conditions and will be expected to finish close once more
Summary: Simply superb since being switched to the amateur division, JUST REMEMBER (2) took little time getting back in the winners’ circle following his summer break, and is undefeated in his current configuration. HATALANTE DE FLO (14) benefits from a superb entry for her return to the category and looks the main threat. Reconfigured after faulting at Pontchateau, ILOULOU JASMA (6) is a 7 times amateur winner and makes his Vincennes bow with a lot to contribute. IMPRESS ME (9) has yet to open his amateur account but has demonstrated decent aptitude and, barefoot this time, can be forgiven his most recent result.
    SELECTIONS
    JUST REMEMBER (2) – HATALANTE DE FLO (14) – ILOULOU JASMA (6) – IMPRESS ME (9)
    C4 – COUPE DES AMATEURS (GR B) – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class F Amateur Drivers – Harness – EUR € 12,000
  39. JALONA – Won 2 in a row before running 3rd at Chartres, but is in conditioning-mode this time and best to keep one’s powder dry
  40. JAZZ MELODY – Won a pair of amateur events but disappointing in next 2 starts. Has produced some good performances here this term and cannot be ruled out
  41. HEAVEN DE SUCE – Has been very disappointing for past few months and his Mont-Saint-Michel run did nothing to convince
  42. GAGA LADY BENACH – Useful at this level but eliminated in 5 of last 6, has placed just once in 7 main-track starts, and can be overlooked
  43. IQUEM MARVIC – Returns to a category he appreciates after a brace of professional runs. Has been reconfigured but would still be preferred racing clockwise
  44. HALIZAROSA – Surprisingly eliminated in a 2800m Castéra-Verduzan Class E on 13 October. Has been in top condition this autumn and will be reunited with Aurore Renaudin who won with her at Cholet
  45. IVAJALE – Barring latest run has been very hard to fault in both professional and amateur categories. Sports pads this time but still looks competitive for a first-5 cheque
  46. ILDA DE BERTRANGE – Won a Chartres amateurs Class G 3 weeks ago before prepping under the saddle at Graignes 2 weeks later. Shod to preference this time and will be expected to contest the finish
  47. HONEY DE TOUCHYVON – Made up for his Nantes blip when respectable 3rd of 12 in a 2200m Salon amateurs Class F 12 days ago. In this company though will struggle to make his mark
  48. HISTOIRE DE LIERRE – Returns to racing unshod-behind after running 6th to ILDA DE BERTRANGE (8) at Chartres but still has a lot more to find
  49. HOCCO DARCHE – Imposed at Montauban in the professional ranks on 11 October but one-paced 8th of 11 in an amateurs Class F at Maure-de-Bretagne 8 days later. Hind shoes back on and should logically make amends
  50. HAHICHA GIRL – Pleasant 4th of 11 in a 2625m amateurs Class G at La Rochelle late last month. Takes on a tough lot this time and chances limited
  51. IZIASLAV TEK – Won 4 of last 5, most recently trouncing the field in a 2675m Class F at Le Mont-Saint-Michel 11 days ago. Has been like a Duracell bunny over recent months and it would be a surprise if he didn’t confirm
  52. ICONE PLANCHETTE – Given ample time to recalibrate after flopping in Lisieux on 24 September. Presents excellent amateur references and should logically bounce back and finish close
Summary: Exceptional since the spring in both the amateur and professional ranks, IZIASLAV TEK (13) enjoys a wonderful entry here and even though yet to produce the goods at Vincennes, current form augurs particularly well for his prospects. He should still encounter resistance from ILDA DE BERTRANGE (8) whose amateur credentials speak for themselves, and the in-form and well-engaged ICONE PLANCHETTE (14) who should not be hastily-condemned for her Lisieux clinker. Reconfigured with Sébastien Rocher in the bike, HOCCO DARCHE (11) will be expected to get back in the game.

    C5 – PRIX CENERI FORCINAL – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Gr2 – Mounted – EUR € 120,000
  53. LIBERTY PIYA – Got off the monte mark at first time of asking a month ago but needs to find much more in order to compete in this company
  54. LASKA DU LEVANT – Tricky filly that has turned a corner since being fitted with pads. Pleasant 4th in Prix Olry-Roederer and can again finish in the mix
  55. LAMBADA DU GOUTIER – 4th to LAKANA DE FELLIERE (5) in Prix Olry-Roederer but is as complicated as they come and others easier to trust
  56. LYZIA DES AGETS – Gr.2 winner at 3 but disappointing since. Races first time barefoot but is still not easy to recommend
  57. LAKANA DE FELLIERE – Got back in the winners’ circle after comfortably beating a number of these in 2850m Gr.3 Prix Olry-Roederer here on 21 October. Change of rider this time but still looks a player
  58. LARA DU LERRE – Back under the saddle after 2 return runs under harness. Goes barefoot this time, is undeniably useful, but still has more to find
  59. LIBERTE DU GOUTIER – Has done nothing but progress, dominating the Gr.2 Prix Camille de Wazières before running 2nd to LIONHEART (11) in 2175m Gr.1 Prix des Elites here on 28 September. The return to 2700m though could make all the difference
  60. L’ECRIN D’OR – Complicated but quality element returning to the discipline after prepping under harness. Would be preferred barefoot though and represents no more than a minor place prospect
  61. LISBONNE DRY – Disappointing 6th of 7 finishers in Prix des Elites. Has struggled since the spell and even though reverting to a previous formula, still looks an outsider
  62. LIGHT MY FIRE – Debuts in the discipline after running 3rd of 11 in Gr.1 Grand Prix de l’UET in Solvalla on 11 October. Shod differently this time but is unlikely to upset the status quo
  63. LIONHEART – Produced an excellent performance to win the 2175m Gr.1 Prix des Elites here on 28 September. Sports modified shoeing and with form maintained can confirm
  64. LEXIE DE BANVILLE – 4th in Prix des Elites before prepping behind LAKANA DE FELLIERE (5) in Gr.3 Prix Olry-Roederer on 21 October, and looks eminently capable of trotting her way onto the podium
  65. LITTLE ORELIE – Classy filly with considerable aptitude. Ran 6th on re-entry to LAKANA DE FELLIERE (5), will have progressed for the run, and it is only a question of time before she comes good again
Summary: A marvellous campaigner in the monte discipline, LIONHEART (11) stayed on well to win the prestigious Prix des Elites in late-September, will be shod as he was in the Prix du Président, and in similar shape can repeat. Runner-up to him that day, when making up ground, LIBERTE DU GOUTIER (7) is the obvious threat. LEXIE DE BANVILLE (12) consistently gives her best, has a Gr.1 to her name, and will be barefoot and dangerous. LAKANA DE FELLIERE (5) has earned the right to step back up in class and Guillaume Martin will be justifiably hopeful of finishing in the frame.
    SELECTIONS
    LIONHEART (11) – LIBERTE DU GOUTIER (7) – LEXIE DE BANVILLE (12) – LAKANA DE FELLIERE (5)
    C6 – PRIX DE CASSIS – 2850m (a2m) – Class D – Harness – EUR € 56,000
  66. IDEALE D’ABBEVILLE – Made it 2 wins on the trot when imposing at Salon-de-Provence 11 days ago. Takes on a better lot this time but with Eric Raffin reining could pleasantly surprise
  67. IN RACE LORRAINE – Sprang a 30-1 surprise when 4th to INVICTUS DE NILREM (6) in a 2700m Class E at Le Croise-Laroche 10 days ago. Has never delivered under these conditions though and not an obvious choice
  68. IRINA DE MONTCEAU – Pleased in 2 before losing her action early in a 2700m Class E at Le Croise-Laroche 10 days ago, and is not about to trouble the judge
  69. INTREPIDE DES BOIS – Game trotter that ran 2nd in an amateurs event across town 3 weeks ago. Is barefoot for the occasion but would be preferred a level down
  70. ILLICO PHEDO – Honest sort that ran 5th in a Saint-Brieuc Class E late last month but in this company has no possible chance
  71. INVICTUS DE NILREM – Made up for a pair of eliminations when dominating a 2700m Class E at Le Croise-Laroche 10 days ago and, if focused, can double up
  72. IDOLE JALLERIE – Has ample ability but not the easiest of horses to handle. Tends to go well for Franck Nivard though and with front pads fitted this time can start to make amends for recent elimination
  73. IROISE QUESNOT – Disappointing at Caen but showed improvement at Lyon-Parilly a month back. Benjamin Rochard in the bike but others still easier to back
  74. INSIDE MAN – Useful on a good day but ended the summer on a low note and is not about to surprise on first start back
  75. INKY PERRINE – Unexpected 5th of 13 in a Class D under these conditions on 17 October, however a repeat seems most unlikely
  76. I STILL LOVING YOU – Has 2 runs under his belt since the lengthy break. Hind shoes off, with Alexandre Abrivard reining, and will be no easy touch
  77. ISOLEE DU BOUILLON – Won 2 of last 3, most recently a 2875m Enghien Class D with ease early last month. Has never disappointed on the main track but may just be taking on too much this time
  78. IDEAL DE SASSY – In the frame in last 2, latterly 2nd of 13 in a 2100m Feurs Class E mid-October. Reunited with Damien Bonne who won with him last season, goes barefoot this time, and will be expected to finish in the mix
  79. IMPERIALE DU MONT – Has a brace of conditioners under his belt after the summer spell. Will be fully fit by now and is unlikely to disappoint
  80. IBROX PARK – Left a good impression in Salon-de-Provence 12 days ago when 4th of 13. Goes barefoot this time and will have a lot to contribute if he takes to the new conditions
  81. IMPERIAL BEJI – Sent for a break after a pair of eliminations in early-summer, was disqualified on first start back, but excels in the day’s configuration and with application can bring home the bacon
Summary: Disqualified on re-entry at Challans last month, IMPERIAL BEJI (16) will be competitively-shod and reunited with Anthony Barrier who will be primed to take advantage of the good entry. He will still want to be wary of recent Le Croise-Laroche winner INVICTUS DE NILREM (6) who is a force to be reckoned with when applied, and the remarkably consistent IMPERIALE DU MONT (14) who has a brace of return runs in her. I STILL LOVING YOU (11) showed his form after being eliminated last time out and, in competition mode on this occasion, looks a player.
    SELECTIONS
    IMPERIAL BEJI (16) – INVICTUS DE NILREM (6) – IMPERIALE DU MONT (14) – I STILL LOVING YOU (11)
    C7 – PRIX DE CHATEAU-THIERRY – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Gr3 – Harness – EUR € 66,000
  82. GRAN TORINO (ITY) – Respectable Italian raider making first appearance since early-August and in this company has nothing to offer
  83. GILL DORIAL – Hardy transalpine sort that won with ease in Modena on re-entry late last month. Should take well to Vincennes conditions and even with shoes back on should not be far from the action
  84. GILLES GRIF – Won a 2100m Class B with authority here on 10 October. JMB in the bike again and should again contest the finish
  85. MARQUETY DE BAILLY – Opened 2025 account at Rambouillet before coming 5th of 11, a place behind MAGICO DE LOU (9), in a 2825m Chartres Class B 3 weeks ago. Matthieu Abrivard reining this time but others still preferred
  86. MAESTRO VRIE – Returns to Vincennes after coming 3rd of 5 in a 2950m Toulouse Class B in late-September, and already appears to be out of his depth
  87. MUST ATOUT – Dependability not his strong suit but ran good, but never dangerous, 2nd to MOUFFETARD (11) in a Class A under these conditions last month. Franck Nivard stays faithful and can again finish close
  88. MARDOUK DE GODREL – Unremarkable colt that failed to deliver behind MAGICO DE LOU (9) at Chartres last time and will struggle to make his mark
  89. MORPHEUS DU LOISIR – Returns to the harness code after securing 2 under the saddle. Is no slouch in this discipline but has other ambitions
  90. MAGICO DE LOU – Unremarkable 4th of 5 finishers in a 2175m Gr.2 here on 24 October and will have too much to do
  91. GOLIMPIO D’OR – Quality element that has followed an atypical programme but left a very good impression in Rome last month and at this level will be competitive for a place in the frame
  92. MOUFFETARD – Serious colt with a bright future, most recently winning a Class A over track and trip on 14 October. Has buckets of potential and should logically take all the beating
  93. MISTRAL CASTELLE – Takes a dip in class after being eliminated in a 2175m Gr.2 here a fortnight ago. Is confirmed in this category and with application could yet make first 5
  94. MISTRAL DU GOUTIER – Made no impact in Critérium des 3 Ans before a lacklustre effort behind MISTRAL CASTELLE (12) in Gr.3 Prix des Troyes, and will have few friends
Summary: Winner of 5 of his last 6 starts, MOUFFETARD (11) opened his Vincennes account over course and distance last month and can continue his march forward. MUST ATOUT (6) ran 2nd that day and can again figure prominently. A winner on just his second start for the Bazire team, GILLES GRIF (3) climbs the category ladder and will be no easy touch if he stays in stride. Although well-beaten in both Vincennes appearances, GOLIMPIO D’OR (10) ran 5th in the Italian Derby last month and is unlikely to return home empty-handed.
    SELECTIONS
    MOUFFETARD (11) – MUST ATOUT (6) – GILLES GRIF (3) – GOLIMPIO D’OR (10)
    C8 – PRIX D’HARFLEUR – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class E – Harness – EUR € 41,000
  95. KAVANI – Honest sort that has returned to France in good order. Is back to racing barefoot but still seems to be taking on too much
  96. KENDO JIEL – Placed over shorter here in April but has done nothing noteworthy since and is not about to change his ways
  97. KARRINGTON – Quality element making first appearance since early-June. Goes barefoot for re-entry and given the stable’s form must be regarded a contender
  98. KAPITEN DU MELEUC – Has failed to deliver in last 3 starts, including over 2100m here. Has no particular love for Vincennes and can be passed over
  99. KIFF L’OSEILLE – Classy individual that has won 3 from 5 when barefoot, including twice over course and distance. Has a pair of conditioners in him and with application can make a big splash
  100. KADOR JOSSELYN – Complicated but talented sort with 3 conditioners under his belt following a long absence. Will be barefoot this time and although not a priority is still worth keeping an eye on
  101. KAVALO BELLO – Below-par in last 3 but will be partnered by Francois Lagadeuc who excels with him, and a place in first 5 is well within his grasp
  102. KADO SURPRISE – Was unable to secure the hat-trick when eliminated early in a 2850m Class D here on 21 October. Gets a 2nd crack at the main track and with application can get a look in
  103. KILIMANDJARO PLAYA – Gave a fine account to win a 2825m Chartres Class E mid-October. Won under similar conditions last winter and with application can again finish close
  104. KERNO – Honest trotter but not the most performant these days, finishing unplaced in last 6 starts, and is not about to change his ways
  105. KEOPS TILLAYE – Has ample ability but not the most dependable. Goes first time barefoot though, with Gabriele Gelormini in the bike, and should not be overlooked
  106. KOZMIC BLUES – Useful trotter that ran 4th in a Graignes Class D on comeback a week ago. Will be shod as he was when victorious at Pornichet but is being aimed too high this time
  107. KABIR BEDI – Previously a good sort but lost his way during the summer. Failed to fire on re-entry and is not about to take Vincennes by storm
  108. KRONOS MADRIK – Good, consistent individual that pleased at Beaumont a fortnight ago. Has never delivered at Vincennes and with shoes fitted is unlikely to make his presence felt
  109. KRUNCHY – Stylish winner on Vincennes debut in September and missed out by little next time here. Has yet to show his full potential and is easy to recommend for the win
  110. KABRIEL – Failed to confirm his excellent September run when quickly eliminated in a Marseille-Borely Class B on 10 October. Is plainly in good shape though, has never run barefoot at Vincennes, and merits respect
Summary: Enjoying something of a renaissance since starting to race competitively-shod, KRUNCHY (15) benefits from a fine entry and even though new to 2700m here, he still looks the horse to beat. Paul Ploquin will nevertheless be mindful of KIFF L’OSEILLE (5) for whom it is always a question of all-or-nothing when barefoot, and a reconfigured KIFF L’OSEILLE (5) who has demonstrated good aptitude for both disciplines. KILIMANDJARO PLAYA (9) opened his autumn account at just the 2nd time of asking and will be barefoot for the occasion.
    SELECTIONS
    KRUNCHY (15) – KIFF L’OSEILLE (5) – KARRINGTON (3) – KILIMANDJARO PLAYA (9)
    C9 – PRIX DE COGNAC – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class D – Harness – EUR € 59,000
  111. JIBI DU FRUITIER – Drops to a more reasonable level after failing to deliver in a Class A here a week ago. Was not disgraced that day and is in with a decent shout of making first 5 this time
  112. JOKER DES CHALIERS – Held on well to secure a 2100m Class D here 2 months ago. Has solid references when sporting front pads under these conditions and will have his supporters
  113. INHERIT – Unlucky 4th of 16 in a 2850m Class D here a fortnight ago. Has previously won for Eric Raffin and must be afforded significant respect
  114. HAMIGO – Fine servant that won 2 of 3 before being sent for a rest in June. Is barefoot for comeback, has won 3 of 4 over the main track and is not incapable of spoiling the party
  115. JUST DE L’OISON – Put a pair of eliminations behind him to authoritatively win a 2750m Angouleme Class E a month back and on good behaviour can confirm
  116. JOTUNN DU DOME – Won 3 on the trot before coming 2nd to JUST DE L’OISON (5) in a 2750m Angouleme Class E a month ago. Is plainly firing on all cylinders and could yet get his nose in front
  117. ICARE DE PHYT’S – Somewhat made up for a pair of eliminations when 5th of 12 in a 3000m Gr.3 at Salon-de-Provence late last month, but still has more to find
  118. JOJO TOONS – Won 3 of last 4, latterly a 2400m Beaumont-de-Lomagne Class D with ease, and with David Thomain reining a repeat is not out of the question
  119. JAGUAR MARANCOURT – 7th of 9 behind JIBI DU FRUITIER (1) in a Class A over course and distance a week ago. Hind shoes back on and will have few takers
  120. HOTEL MYSTIC – Quality element racing here for reasons of conditioning and best to hold off
  121. HOLD UP RANAIS – Surprise 4th of 12 in a valuable event over 2300m in Mons in late-October. Reconfigured for return to France but still not a concern
  122. GOLD D’ECROVILLE – Has not been seen out since finishing last in a 2850m claimer here in May. Goes barefoot for re-entry but will have nothing to offer
  123. FOGO PICO – Starts for the first time since February, is competitively-shod, with Benjamin Rochard reining, but others still preferred
  124. JIM PERRINE – Won 3 of last 5, has been sparsely used this year, appreciates Vincennes, benefits from an entry made in heaven, and is easy to fancy for the spoils
Summary: Held back for this since late-September, JIM PERRINE (14) has come close more than once under these conditions and, given the engagement, can finally open his Vincennes account. That said, the Duvaldestin-trained JUST DE L’OISON (5) is a tough nut to crack when focused and sports modified shoeing for the occasion. JOTUNN DU DOME (6) has not put a foot out of line for the past 13 months and with hind shoes off can impose. A Gr.3 runner-up on turf 2 months ago, JOJO TOONS (8) has won a pair since and must also be considered a contender.

Summary: KODIACOLOR (10) has met winners at her last two attempts and may have just been out of her depths there. Maxime Guyon retains the ride as she drops back into maiden company and she could find her best form to land the spoils. STUPEFIANTE (8) represents a powerful trainer/owner combination and with the apprentice taking the ride, she gets weight off the back and could get her head in front. SHIAWASE (2) produced a promising debut performance and with a repeat of that, he should be fighting it out. HERACLES (4) hasn’t been the most reliable but has bits and pieces of form which could see him earning.

  62. CHANAZ – Moderate run in 7th over 2000m at Saint-Cloud in a Class 3 claimer on the 16th of October 2025. Place chance
Summary: SEE THE LIGHT (9) needs to be forgiven for an under par latest effort and judged on his prior form. He has the right form figures and will pose a major threat with Maxime Guyon taking the ride for only the second time. TENDER THOUGHTS (15) isn’t one who jumps off the page on current form but her rating continues to tumble and she could show improvement off a low mark. EFFIRA (13) hasn’t been far off them and has shown to be a useful sort on her day. She demands respect. HARRY BASSETT (8) is a lightly raced sort who still has unlocked potential and could be up to the task at hand.

Summary: TOIJK (1) got the job done at Chantilly on the PSF nine days ago and again faces SERQUIGNY (2), who finished fifth in that same race. With the latter now slightly worse off at the weights, the contest may come down to these two once more.
