R1 VINCENNES [L-H]
C1 – PRIX DE BACQUEVILLE – 2175m (a1m1/4) – Class B – Harness – EUR € 52,000
- MAGGY JENILOU – Has evident ability but is as complicated as they get and is not easy to recommend on first start back
- MABELLISSIME – Missed out by little in a 2150m Enghien Class C on re-entry early last month. Will have come on for the run, has shown decent versatility, and can challenge for the win
- MUNIA – Came good over 2700m here in late-September before running 3rd in a 2700m Graignes Class B 12 days later. Is unlikely to get her nose in front but still cannot be ruled out
- MORNING PRAYER – Blows hot and cold but ran reassuring 2nd to MOANA MESLOISE (5) in a 2850m Class C over the inner course on 21 October. May not be as good as either stablemate but can still figure prominently
- MOANA MESLOISE – Winner of 3 of 4 to date, latterly with ease over the inner course 2.5 weeks ago. Remains undefeated at Vincennes and Pierre Belloche will be determined to keep that fact relevant
- MACANA MONNERIE – Quality future prospect dropping in category following a convincing comeback run in a Class A here last month. Goes well for her driver who will be primed to open his charge’s Vincennes account
- MALVINA MADRIK – Made up for Gr.3 performance in August when 3rd of 10 in a 2700m Class B here on 26 September. Has had ample time to recover and looks competitive for a first-3 cheque
- MAIA JIEL – Tenacious winner over 2100m here before losing her action completely, also here, 3 weeks ago. Drops in category and Franck Ouvrie will be minded to get her off on the right foot. Chance
- MIRATISSIME – Completely out of the picture since returning to competition and in this company will have nothing to offer
- MADNESS SAM – Got off the mark over 2875m at Enghien in mid-August. Quickly eliminated on re-entry 3 weeks ago and although not a priority, is still worth monitoring
- MY QUALITA PIYA – Well-regarded filly but has not been seen out since 16 August and has yet to show much liking for Vincennes
Summary: Sent for a well-earned rest after pulling off the hat-trick at Enghien in July, MACANA MONNERIE (6) put in a solid effort on her comeback in superior company 3 weeks ago. She will have progressed for the run and with Benjamin Rochard back in the bike can return to winning ways. She will still come under pressure from the likes of MAIA JIEL (8) who was eliminated that day, just a month after getting off the mark here, and MOANA MESLOISE (5) who has demonstrated a particular liking for Vincennes conditions. MALVINA MADRIK (7) has been afforded time to recover from her excellent run here in late-September, and can expect considerable support.

C2 – PRIX DE JONCHERY – 2175m (a1m1/4) – Class D – Harness – EUR € 40,000 - MAGELLANO SUN – Useful type but has not been seen out since July and cannot be considered a player on Vincennes debut
- MARIO MASCAR – Useful sort with a pair of runs in him since the summer break. Appears still to be in conditioning-mode and best to hold off
- MEETING MESLOIS – Complicated sort that ran 3rd over 2700m here on 19 September before courageously winning a 2725m Cabourg Class E a fortnight later. Takes on a better bunch this time but will still have his supporters
- MELKIOR DE BAILLY – Picked up this term where he left off in the summer and can expect to have few friends
- MAMBO THORIS – Back under harness after being eliminated under the saddle at Enghien 3 weeks ago, and in current condition is easy to ignore
- MISTER CHARM – Reliability not his strong suit but ran an excellent 3rd of 13 in a Caen Class C on 11 October. Champion driver back in the bike and should again contest the finish
- MAMBO DE JAUDRAIS – Never in the mix when surprisingly last of 13 in a 2100m Class C here on 3 October. Should appreciate the sharpness of 2175m and Benjamin Rochard can be quietly confident
- MISSILE DE TAGOR – Out of the picture in both return runs. Showed promise earlier in the year but seems to have his work cut out this time
- MALIGNO – Put away after losing his maiden status at Caen in June. Could have imposed on re-entry late last month had he been afforded an opening and can make amends with a little more luck in running
- MOZART SAUTONNE – Has done everything asked of him so far. Given a short rest after coming close at Cabourg in August and with his handler back in the bike is easy to like for a spot in the mix
- MAGICAL – Ran good 3rd at Cabourg before being quickly eliminated on his main-track debut in early-October. Is plainly a progressive colt and can wrap this up if he stays focused
- MAGIC LOMIG – Gave a reassuringly good account when 2nd in an Enghien Class D on 13 October. Placed over course and distance during the spring and although not a priority, can nevertheless get in on the action
Summary: Tricky he might be but the superbly-engaged MAGICAL (11) is patently a promising future prospect and can bring home the bacon if Gabriele Gelormini gets him off on the right foot. The Italian will still be wary of the erratic but talented MISTER CHARM (6) who will be reunited with Eric Raffin who won with him during the spring, and MAMBO DE JAUDRAIS (7) who should not be too hastily-condemned for failing to deliver here early last month. MALIGNO (9) was unlucky over longer on his recent comeback and Mathieu Mottier will be out to set the record straight.

C3 – PRIX D’AIX LES BAINS – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class E – Mounted – EUR € 41,000 - KOBE BEJI – Imposed under harness in Saint-Malo last weekend but has yet to show any aptitude for the monte code and is also out of his league
- KIDAM DU METZ – Unremarkable type in both disciplines and latest results do nothing to inspire confidence
- KETCHUP – Won 4 of last 5 starts, latterly a 2850m Class F at Maure-de-Bretagne 3 weeks ago. Is new to the venue but can play a small role if he takes to the new profile
- KAVIASE – Sent for a long rest after winning a brace under these conditions last winter. Has a harness conditioner in her and even though still shod, she nevertheless looks a serious player
- KOREA – Blows hot and cold but gave a reassuringly good account when 3rd over 2850m under harness here 11 days ago on her first start for Mathieu Mottier. Has been reconfigured for the occasion and is unlikely to be too far from the action
- KERSIGAN – Returns to racing barefoot after coming 3rd, a place behind KABALA QUICK (8), in a Laval Class E early last month. Barefoot this time but others still preferred
- KILLER FOR LOVA – Left a fine impression at Enghien last month after being eliminated. Is plainly close to his best and with application can challenge for the win
- KABALA QUICK – Ran 2nd at Laval in early-October before going one better at Cabourg 6 days later. Goes particularly well for the talented Estelle Croisic who can be confident of another competitive performance
- KANKAL – Returns to the discipline after pleasing under harness in the provinces on 13 October. Proved himself here earlier in the year but may be taking on too much this time
- KOMDAPI DIESCHOOT – Gave a good account of himself in a similar race here a fortnight ago. Adrien Lamy stays faithful and looks thoroughly capable of repeating
- KENENISA SKILL – Beaten only by a very good horse here 2.5 weeks ago. Looks better than the colts she will be pitted against this time and is in with a realistic shout of doubling her money
Summary: Runner-up in a similar event here recently, KENENISA SKILL (11) is just 175 Euros from elimination this time and Benjamin Rochard can be forgiven for expecting to win this. He will still have to take on KILLER FOR LOVA (7) who has never failed to fire when barefoot at Vincennes, and the returning KAVIASE (4) who is undefeated under the saddle. KOMDAPI DIESCHOOT (10) placed here on his recent return to the code, and has a decent chance of making the frame once more.

C4 – PRIX D’ARGENTAN – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class B – Harness – EUR € 72,000 - IVANOF – Useful sort in the other code but has not been seen out since early-August and will have other priorities
- JAPPELOUP TURGOT – Came 5th in a Feurs Gr.3 before running 4th of 9 in a Class A over track and trip late last month. Has not put a foot wrong for some time and is not about to start now. First 5
- HIMBERLAND – Oddly below-par 6th in a Class C over course and distance on 30 October. Is plainly in good shape though and David Thomain will be legitimately expecting to put things right
- IGUANE DE CAPONET – Won 5 of last 6 including over course and distance. Takes on some better horses this time but excels with Yoann Lebourgeois and still looks competitive for the win
- HOLLYWOOD DU BOIS – Finished a place ahead of HIMBERLAND (3) in a 2850m Class C here on 10 October. Failed to confirm 3 weeks later however and can be ruled out
- HABIT DE SOIREE – Showed marked improvement when 4th of 10 in a Class B over track and trip in late-September. Barefoot this time, Eric Raffin stays faithful, but appears no more than a minor place chance
- HADES DE L’ITON – 4th in a Feurs Gr.3 before easily securing a Beaumont-de-Lomagne Class C 2.5 weeks ago. Is not a huge Vincennes fan but in current form is difficult to ignore
- IBIZA BELLA – Tough mare that was going well when eliminated in Marseille. Has nothing to prove at this level and given the chance can finish close
- HANNAH – Switches code after acquitting herself decently under the saddle at Caen. Is here for a change of scenery and will have little to contribute
- ILLUSION JIPAD – Useful on a good day and has a race under her belt since the break. Imposed for JMB just over a year ago, runs barefoot this time, but still unlikely to repeat
- INDY DARK – Gave a courageous account when 5th in a Class B under these conditions early last month. Has been is fine fettle for some time and looks the one to beat
- ILAYA – Put in a fine effort when runner-up in a Class B over course and distance in late-September only to be eliminated. Form is not in question and can play a leading role if focused
- INDIGO DE FONTAINE – Unexceptional in either code over recent months. Is not without merit, has been re-shod, but is a far cry from previous form
Summary: Comfortable winner over course and distance in September, INDY DARK (11) was not far off the winner early last month when stepped up in class, and is very easy to like for the spoils this time. Benjamin Rochard can still expect to feel the heat from IGUANE DE CAPONET (4) who has not ceased to impress since the spring, and well-engaged stablemate ILAYA (12) who ran 2nd here last time out only to be eliminated. HIMBERLAND (3) produced 7 solid performances before disappointing here late last month but can nevertheless be brought back into the fold. JAPPELOUP TURGOT (2) left a good impression in a Class A here on 30 October and warrants respect.

C5 – PRIX DE RANVILLE – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class E – Harness – EUR € 41,000 - KALANSKA – As honest as they come and solid in last 2 Vincennes starts. Little chance of opening her metropolitan account but can nevertheless make first 5
- KADIJA MESLOISE – Complicated individual but is clearly in form. Trainer runs her shod this time though and best to keep one’s powder dry
- KALINKA MOYA – Won over 2175m here earlier in the year but has otherwise been out of sorts, and even racing barefoot this time still looks out of her depth
- KALINKA DU BREUIL – Returns to Paris and sports modified shoeing after being conditioned in a Graignes Class D 9 days ago. Seldom lets the side down when competitively-shod and cannot be ruled out
- KASSIOPEE DU NOYER – Somewhat off the boil for past 2 months and will need to get her house in order
- KALITY D’ERABLE – Handy element going barefoot following a pair of re-entry runs. Has acquitted herself honourably in all 3 Vincennes starts and can again finish in the mix
- KULTA – Showed improvement when 2nd of 16 in a 2850m Class E at Lyon-Parilly late last month. Has delivered just the once at Vincennes and looks a minor place chance at best
- KENISA – 10th of 12 behind KIMIKO DU DOUBS (14) in a 2775m Class E conditioner at Les Sables-d’Olonne on 20 October. Goes barefoot this time and while not a priority, can nevertheless make her presence felt
- KOMEDIE SOMOLLI – Returns to the harness code after a pair of monte return runs. Has previously imposed under these conditions, sports a fresh configuration, will be reined by Eric Raffin for the first time, but still not easy to recommend
- KATELINE DE BRY – Versatile mare but has placed just once in 5 main-track starts and will be shod for return. Disregard
- KAYA DU SAPTEL – In the frame in last 3, including over course and distance. Has yet to deliver going left-handed but could well seal the deal this time around
- KANELLE DE TILLARD – Has failed to make any impact in either code all year and is not about to trouble the judge
- KUNAMATATA – Serious mare that was sent for a break after imposing at Chateaubriant in July. Has never disappointed in the day’s configuration and will have a claim on the spoils
- KIMIKO DU DOUBS – Reliability not her strong suit but gave a fine account when 3rd in a Class E at Les Sables-d’Olonne on 20 October. Has previously imposed under these conditions and can expect to be well-supported
- KRISTALE D’ERABLE – Makes first appearance since securing the monte double at Vire last May. Shoes on for comeback and will have other ambitions
- KAROLENE D’ETANG – Fine sort going barefoot after a pair of return runs. If she can win over 2100m and, more importantly over 2850m, she can impose over 2700m
Summary: Difficult to handle but easy to like when focused, KUNAMATATA (13) has a race under her belt following the summer break. Shod as she was when placing over course and distance in the spring, she will be reunited with Paul Ploquin who simply excels with her. Taking her on though is the tough, and spirited, KAROLENE D’ETANG (16) who benefits from a terrific entry, and KAYA DU SAPTEL (11) who has been knocking at the door. KIMIKO DU DOUBS (14) showed at Les Sables-d’Olonne that she is nearing her best form.

C6 – PRIX DU LANGUEDOC – 2850m (a2m) – Gr3 – Harness – EUR € 90,000 - INOUI DANICA – Useful sort starting for the first time since November 2024 and will have other ambitions
- JEWELCANDLE FAC – Has 3 runs under her belt since running 3rd in the Cornulier last winter. Is not always the most reliable but will be barefoot for the occasion and has form at a superior level
- COBRA KILLER GAR – Made short work, on comeback, of a Class B over track and trip on 30 August. Has not been seen since but will have been prepared for this and should logically take all the beating
- HORATIUS D’ELA – Comfortable Class D winner here before finishing last but one in a Feurs Gr.3 in mid-October. Is plainly better than that though and will be reunited with Benjamin Rochard. First 5
- GOAL STAR – Eliminated in last 3, latterly on re-entry in Mons 2.5 weeks ago. Is justifiably well-regarded and can get a look in if Paul Ploquin keeps him focused
- IDEAL DU POMMEAU – Has a pair of runs in him after almost 2 years on the sidelines. Has talent to burn and even though sporting shoes must not be underestimated
- JAZZMAN DEBAILLEUL – Had nothing to give when it mattered in a 2400m Beaumont-de-Lomagne Gr.2 2.5 weeks ago. Presents good credentials in this category though and will be expected to bounce back and finish in the mix
- BILO JEPSON – Quality element but has not been seen out since December 2024 and is going to need the race
- J’AIME LE FOOT – Good dual-discipline type making first start since winning an Enghien monte Gr.2 on 10 August. Stays shod and best to hold off
- HIP HOP HAUFOR – Has 3 runs under his belt following a lengthy layoff. Is twice a winner over course and distance, and barefoot with Alexandre Abrivard in the bike, will be afforded every chance
- HULYSSE DIGEO – Won a Gr.2 at La Capelle before failing to deliver in Gr.1 Grand Prix de Wallonie in Mons on 20 September. Comes here fresh, has won 3 of last 4 over course and distance, and must be considered a leading contender
- HANNIBAL TUILERIE – Out of the picture in 2 before prepping at Argentan last weekend. Has been freshly-reconfigured and considering his liking for 2850m here, should again play an active role
Summary: Sent for a spell after winning over course and distance in late-August, the remarkably consistent COBRA KILLER GAR (3) steps back up in class but can still wrap this up. No stranger to this level of competition though, HULYSSE DIGEO (11) has looked a different horse this year and, confirmed under these conditions, looks the principal threat. Nicely-engaged at the limit of earnings, the reconfigured HANNIBAL TUILERIE (12) boasts an excellent record over 2850m of the main track and will be no pushover. JAZZMAN DEBAILLEUL (7) races at a more reasonable level this time and is unlikely to be far off the mark.

C7 – PRIX DE BEAUVAIS – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class D – Harness – EUR € 40,000 - LOU DU DONJON – In the frame in 3 of last 4, most recently 2nd of 18 over track and trip late last month. Is close to opening her winter account and is very much in the picture
- LILOU DE GUOZ – Unseen since pulling off the hat-trick at Enghien in early-August. Shoes on and not a concern
- LAURENE DE BAILLY – 37 runs and yet to get off the mark. Was not disgraced here 2 months ago but François Lagadeuc still faces a tough task
- LOVE ME AGAIN – Capable filly with quite the temperament but has shown significant potential. Has a trio of conditioners in her since the summer holiday and can win this if she stays in stride
- LAMBADA TURGOT – Reassuring 4th of 11 finishers in a 2750m Cabourg Class D mid-October. Has no left-handed references though and is not a priority
- LOVELY FACE – Sent for a spell after biting off too much at Cagnes. Is confirmed in this category and if fully-fit can pick up a minor place cheque
- LOLITA DE LA BUTTE – Honest sort that consistently gives her best and is confirmed under these conditions. Prepped here 2.5 weeks ago, races barefoot this time, and should not be far from the action
- LOVE GLORY – Has bags of ability but is unraced since July. Shoes fitted for comeback and best to hold off
- LELIA FRANCE – Has raced just the once since being sent for a break. Appreciates Vincennes but is in conditioning-mode and can be ruled out
- LASSIE – Got straight down to business on re-entry across town a month ago, dominating a Class D. Debuts at Vincennes but with Mathieu Mottier in the bike will be no soft touch
- LATINA TOURNIBOIS – Difficult to knock since starting to race barefoot, latterly 3rd in a 2300m Mons conditioner 2 weeks ago, and is unlikely to go home empty-handed
- LYRA POTERIE – Placed twice in the provinces before being eliminated at Enghien a month back. Tends to prefer the inner course but benefits from a fine entry, and with Yoann Lebourgeois at the helm must be respected
- LA MISS ROYALE – Unable to confirm Mauquenchy success when 4th of 13 over 2100m here on 19 September. Has progressed well since the spring though and is unlikely to disappoint
Summary: As complicated as they come, but by no means short of talent, LOVE ME AGAIN (4) will be race-fit by now, is barefoot for her first objective of the new season, and with application should have this in the bag. That being said, LASSIE (10) has turned a corner since starting to race barefoot and these conditions should be right up her street. LOU DU DONJON (1) confirmed her Enghien form over course and distance in late-October and should again figure prominently, as should the ideally-entered LA MISS ROYALE (13) who has won 2 of her last 4.

C8 – PRIX ATLANTIC – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class D – Harness – EUR € 59,000 - JESTA BUISSONAY – Starts for the first time since 23 August. Goes better under the saddle here and will be shod for the occasion
- IDOLE D’OURVILLE – Has not won for some time but regularly finishes in the mix. Pleasant 4th over shorter here recently and while not a priority, is still worth keeping an eye on
- IRMYLA DE SOMMAIRE – Unable to confirm Amiens performance when 5th in a Class D under these conditions early last month. Takes a step up in category though and chances limited
- JOY DU CARNOIS – Has not put a foot out of line since imposing at Le Mans in May. JMB is back in the bike and will be out to make amends for being eliminated on their only prior start together. Chance
- FERVENTE – Has looked ordinary since imposing across town in August and with shoes on can be passed over
- INES DE LA ROUVRE – Won 2 of last 3, latterly securing a 2100m Class D here a fortnight ago. Not always the most reliable but in current condition is worth retaining for a first-5 payout
- JAVA D’ANAMA – Won 3 on the trot before coming 2nd of 15 in a 2450m Caen Class C on 11 October. Presents fine credentials over 2700m here and will be expected to play an active role. Place prospect
- IDOLA – Quality mare facing first goal of the season after being conditioned behind JOURNEE REVEE (9) at Caen 3 weeks ago. Is better under the saddle but barefoot with Mathieu Mottier reining, should not be underestimated
- JOURNEE REVEE – Has done nothing but improve lately, most recently an unhurried 5th in a Caen Class B. Returns to conditions she likes and can finish closer this time
- IRINA DE BAILLY – Pleasantly surprising 3rd in a Rambouillet Class E on 5 October, however a repeat seems most improbable
- JASMINE DE VAU – 2nd in a Class D over 2100m here in early-September before running 3rd in a monte Gr.3, also here, a fortnight later. Franck Nivard at the helm this time and can bring the fight to JOYCE DELTO (12)
- JOYCE DELTO – Stayed on well to run 3rd in a 2400m Beaumont-de-Lomagne Class D 2.5 weeks ago. Placed in a Craon Gr.3 two months back and given her liking for these conditions, should play a leading role
- INITIALE CASTELETS – Useful type in the monte discipline and has little to show for her Vincennes efforts. Disregard
Summary: A wonderfully-consistent mare with a particular flair for 2700m here, JOYCE DELTO (12) has been knocking at the door over recent weeks and, reconfigured for the occasion, can impose. There is no shortage of opposition though, mainly in the form of JASMINE DE VAU (11) who has been excelling in both codes lately, and JAVA D’ANAMA (7) who just missed out on the 4-timer at Caen last month. 7 times a winner in her last 9 starts, JOY DU CARNOIS (4) opened her Vincennes account during the summer and with Jean-Michel reining is very easy to fancy.

C9 – PRIX DE BESANCON – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class B – Harness – EUR € 52,000 - LUMINEUSE DE BRION – Surprise 5th of 18 in a 2750m Class B at Les Sables-d’Olonne on 20 October. Shoes on again and is unlikely to ruffle any feathers this time
- LOCHAN – Capricious colt making first appearance since being eliminated under the saddle last June, and has nothing to contribute
- LADY DADA – 3 times a winner over course and distance last winter. Has 3 fresheners in her since the break, will be shod to preference, and with Eric Raffin in the bike this time cannot be ignored
- LEONARDO VICI – Serious element with solid Vincennes form, but is in conditioning-mode this time and can be passed over
- LAST MAN – Made up for course-and-distance elimination when successful in a Class B at Le Crosie-Laroche late last month. Benjamin Rochard in the bike again but is unlikely to confirm
- LOUVE DE DAIDOU – Won over shorter here in September before coming 2nd in a competitive Class B under these conditions the following month. Takes on some better horses this time but still has the wherewithal to finish in the money
- LUTIN VENESI – Honest type returning to the capital, not having been seen out since late-August. Boasts fine Vincennes references but with pads fitted is unlikely to spring any surprises
- LOVER MAN – Serious colt with a brace of runs in him since the summer break. Goes well when barefoot and winning this is well within his capacity
- LE BILLET VERT – Gr.2-placed colt that should be fit following a pair of re-entry races. Has nothing to prove under these conditions and will be expected to finish in the frame
- LUTIN DE REUX – Won 2 of last 3, most recently a Beaumont-de-Lomagne Class B with consummate ease, and Alexandre Abrivard will be expecting to give LORD DELO (11) a run for his money
- LORD DELO – Quality type that already boasts a Gr.3 to his name. Has had the benefit of 2 re-entry runs and, shod to preference, will take some beating
Summary: Ideally-entered close to the earnings threshold, LORD DELO (11) returns to Vincennes after having been given a 2nd conditioner in early-October, and difficult to fault in the day’s configuration, can expect to garner considerable support. Jean-Michel Bazire will still be mindful of the in-form LUTIN DE REUX (10) who will be barefoot as he was when victorious under these conditions in August. Runner-up in a Gr.3 over course and distance, LOVER MAN (8) will be similarly shoeless and represents a significant danger. LE BILLET VERT (9) has a brace of comeback runs under his belt and, if close to last spring’s form, will be no easy touch.

- HOTTOT – Recent success on September 24th at Toulouse over 1600m in a maiden race. Looks progressive and capable of being involved

- MAINTAIN – Won by a narrow margin on debut at Parislongchamp in a race for unraced over 1800m on October 19th. Open to improvement, and the switch to PSF should not be too much of a concern. Live player
- STUDEN KLADENETS – 6th on the one run over 1800m in a Listed race at Chantilly on October 27th. Likely to improve and has outside place claims
- TOMOE GOZEN – 9th on the one run over 1600m at Chantilly on September 15th in a Class 2 race. She will need to show a lot more to make the frame
- MIA L’HOMBRE – Unraced filly by James Garfield, the dam never raced. Likely to need this run for experience, and she faces some tough rivals
- MIA SALLY – Placed on the last three starts, the latter when 2nd at Most (CZE) over 1600m on October 18th. This requires a good deal more
Summary: A narrow debut winner at Parislongchamp last month, MAINTAIN (5) looks a promising prospect and is expected to follow up with natural improvement. HOTTOT (1) rates the main danger after scoring on his second start in a Toulouse maiden in late September. KHOVIKHOV (3) has done little wrong in two outings and should be involved once again, while LA MARITZA (4) is another to keep onside and can make her presence felt.
