R1 VINCENNES [L-H]
C1 – PRIX DE BOURIGNY – 2100m (a1m1/4) – Class A – Harness – EUR € 71,000
- JUST A LADY (DEN) – Quality mare that made short work of a 2700m monte Class B on her re-entry here in early-October. Comes here fresh and is eminently capable of confirming
- KEMIA DU CHENE – Not the most dependable of horses but ran an excellent 2nd in a Class B over 2700m here 3 weeks ago. Has form under these conditions and from the 2-spot should not be far off the mark
- IVANA NORDIC – Good Danish mare taking first steps south of the border. Benefits from a good draw, and goes barefoot, but takes on too much this time
- KENO PETTEVINIERE – Hardy element with a race under his belt since the spell. Will be barefoot for the occasion but is out of his depth here
- FELDENKRAIS PAL – Talented individual that was going well in a Gr.2 here last winter before being unluckily eliminated. Has struggled since moving yards but has been re-shod and enjoys a good spot behind the car. With application, first 5
- BROTHERS IN ARMS – Races barefoot for the first time since leaving France in May 2024. Boasts a good record here, Paul Ploquin drives, but others still easier to back
- KEVIN PRINCE – Versatile sort that has won twice over the distance this autumn. Boasts solid main-track references and with Eric Raffin in the bike for the first time will be afforded every chance
- RIKITA JP – Hardy element making first appearance following the summer break. Is barefoot for the occasion, appreciates the trip, and will prove competitive provided she settles early
- CAVIAR FROM MINE – Flew up on re-entry over track and trip on 18 September, before repeating 11 days later in a 2875m Enghien Class B. Will have been specifically prepared for this and can wrap it up if Benjamin Rochard successfully negotiates the start
- ENOCK – Drops marginally in category after finishing down the field in a Gr.3 under these conditions mid-month. Forced to start on 2nd line and in this company is not about to create an upset
- LAPIS LAZULI – Produced a 115-1 surprise when 3rd in a 2850m Class A here a week ago. Takes on his elders this time and can be passed over
- SPEEDRISE LADY S – Useful mare with form in good company, won here in summer 2024, but is up against it this time around
- FELLOW WISE AS – Useful Italian import getting acquainted with main-track conditions and even though barefoot again still has little going for him
- LISSANDRO – Tricky but classy colt that has struggled with stride woes since the spring. Still has the faith of Jean-Michel Bazire who will pose a danger if he can keep his colt trotting
- KAVALA DE PADD – Oddly below-par 10th behind KEMIA DU CHENE (2) in a 2700m Class B here earlier in the month, after having impressed at Enghien. Handed a rough draw but is first-time barefoot and cannot be ruled out
- KEY LADY – Ran good 5th behind KEMIA DU CHENE (2) in a 2700m Class B here earlier in the month, on first start since August, however a repeat seems most improbable
Summary: Already a classy mare in the nordics, JUST A LADY (DEN) (1) has excelled since coming to France and was most impressive on her monté comeback run. She cut her teeth on the day’s distance and looks marginally better than the less favourably drawn CAVIAR FROM MINE (9) who also comes here on a hat-trick. The capricious LISSANDRO (14) may have pulled a tough number but on a good day is better than most here, and JMB will be reining. RIKITA JP (8) has not been seen out since July but will be barefoot for her re-entry and boasts a 50 percent win-rate over 2100m here. KEMIA DU CHENE (2) received a resounding thumbs-up for her recent run and the draw will do her prospects no disservice.

C2 – PRIX DE MASSIAC – 2200m (a1m1/2) – Class E – Mounted – EUR € 41,000 - KARTING BOY – Takes to the inner track after a lacklustre 6th of 12 over the main track here last week and is not about to spice things up
- KENZO BENOIS – Returns to competition following time on the sidelines. Won over 2140m in northern Sweden late last month but a repeat on monte bow seems unlikely
- KILT – Modest individual that has done nothing of note for some time and is not about to start now
- KNOKKE DE HOUELLE – Pleasant 2nd of 11 in a 2850m Lyon-Parilly Class F 2.5 weeks ago. Has previously placed over the short course but already looks out of his depth
- KANGCHENJUNGA – Takes first competitive ridden steps following some promising harness results in the south. Paul Ploquin riding but still not more than a minor place chance
- KIDAM DU METZ – Most impressive winner here on 8 November, his first ridden start for over a year. Will have progressed for the race and will not be available at 31-1 this time
- KENTUCKY DANICA – Serious element that ran 2nd to KHEOPS DORE (9), on return to competition, in a 2700m Class E here on 24 October. Has had time to come on, will be shod to preference, and should logically take all the beating
- KRISTAL DE JANZE – Made up for last Vincennes effort with victory in Marseille and a 2nd place at Graignes a week ago. Has been reconfigured for the occasion and will have his supporters
- KHEOPS DORE – Undefeated in 2 starts over the main track, latterly beating KENTUCKY DANICA (7) here just over a month ago. Eliminated on sole appearance over 2200m here but with application will be no shrinking violet
- KARAYAN DES IRIS – Showed his form after faulting in a Lyon harness Class E on 11 November. Has otherwise been enjoying a fine run of form and warrants respect on return to the discipline
- KENDO JIEL – Disappointing in both codes this autumn. Is barefoot for 2nd crack of the whip but has no possible chance
- KANKAL – Flattering 4th to KIDAM DU METZ (6) in a 2700m Class E here on 8 November. Has shown promise but in this company will have his work cut out
- KING SUN DRALIAM – Debuts in the code following a pair of Nantes preps. Has shown decent aptitude for the other code and with Guillaume Martin in the irons will be afforded every chance
- KING DU RIL – Reliability not his strong suit but has buckets of ability. Makes first appearance since being unluckily eliminated at Enghien in July, and races shod, but is still worth monitoring
Summary: Simply superb in this branch of the business, KENTUCKY DANICA (7) thrives in the day’s configuration and will be expected to turn the tables on KHEOPS DORE (9) who had his measure when fitted with front pads for his comeback. KIDAM DU METZ (6) made short work of a Class E over the main track earlier in the month and must be taken more seriously this time. KARAYAN DES IRIS (10) has decent monte references and in current condition is easy to like for a podium finish.

C3 – PRIX D’AVRANCHES – 2850m (a2m) – Class E – Harness – EUR € 35,000 - MINYA KONKA – Honest mare that ran 4th of 15, a place behind MELICIANA (6), in a 2100m Class E over the inner course here on 30 October. Is unlikely to repeat but should nevertheless hold her own
- MONZA SEMILLY – Quality filly making first appearance since June but has shown buckets of promise, will have come on over the summer, and is not incapable of getting off the mark
- MIA DE SIMM – Got off the mark at Le Mont-Saint-Michel before running 4th in a 2700m Class E over the main track 2 weeks ago. Alexandre Abrivard in the bike again and has a reasonable chance of making first 5
- MADE IN CARLESS – Takes the long trip north after getting off the mark in a 2650m Marseille-Vivaux Class E on 2 November. Eric Raffin reining this time and while not a priority should still be taken seriously
- MY WILD – Imposed on turf at Nuillé-sur-Vicoin before easily repeating at Graignes late last month. In better company this time but should take well to the inner track and is unlikely to be far off the mark
- MELICIANA – Ran good 2nd on re-entry at Laval before coming 3rd of 15 in a 2100m Class E over the inner course here on 30 October. Will appreciate this longer trip and can open her Vincennes account
- MIRTHE DE REUX – Imposed on comeback before running 2nd at Enghien. Failed to deliver in better company next time and will again have too much to do
- MY LADY DESBOIS – Nicely-related filly that did not skip a beat on her Reims comeback 2.5 weeks ago, coming close 2nd of 12 in a Class E. Is just as capable racing left-handed and represents a decent podium prospect
- MIRELLA DE LOU – Moderate filly starting for first time since finishing last but one in a Class D here on 23 September, and can be ruled out
- MARAVIGLIA – Won 2 of 3 before being sent for a layoff. Left a good impression at Bordeaux on re-entry and will not be far from the action if she turns
- MARGOT DE BETAN – Lost her maiden tag at Lyon-Parilly in early-October before coming 2nd in a monte Class E here next time. Has evident ability but is biting off more than she can chew this time
- MERRY RIVER – Put her main track elimination somewhat behind her when 4th of 13 in a 2875m Enghien Class D on 16 October, but still has more to find
Summary: Hard to fault going left-handed, MELICIANA (6) has twice come close since returning to competition and the nature of her recent run bodes well for her prospects this time. Another good future prospect, MONZA SEMILLY (2) may not have been seen out since June but she will not be coming here unprepared and merits significant respect. MY LADY DESBOIS (8) got straight back in the game on her Reims comeback and looks competitive on her Vincennes bow. Winner of 2 straight, MY WILD (5) faces a stiffer test here but has ample potential and is unlikely to let the side down.

C4 – PRIX DE GENSAC – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class C – Mounted – EUR € 46,000 - MATFABEN D’ENJE – Complicated but talented type that made short work of a 2750m Cabourg Class E on comeback a month ago. Has no left-handed references but still looks a potential spoiler
- MYTIC RENARDIER – Put away after a mediocre Class C run over the inner course in August. Has not been seen since but will be partnered by Mathieu Mottier and must be considered a player
- MEANDRE DE VANDEL – In the frame in last 4 starts, 3 of them under the saddle. Is patently close to his race and it will not be long before he finally loses his maiden status
- MAESTRO MUSIC – Was not at his ease on recent return to the code but was victorious on monte debut and will be expected to show marked improvement
- MAMBO DE LA VALLEE – Winner over the short course but has failed to deliver over the trickier outer track and others easier to back
- MAITRE PAJELO – Solid as a rock under the saddle, latterly winning a 2200m Class E with authority mid-month. On a more demanding track this time but still has the class to make this his own
- MONACO – Should not be condemned for losing his action under harness at Chartres earlier in the month. Returns to the code with Eric Raffin in the irons, however a surprise seems unlikely
- MYSTIC PARKER – Comfortable winner of an Enghien Class E last month prior to finishing well-beaten 3rd in a 2175m Class D here last week. Should acquit himself honourably but cannot be considered a priority
- MAURICIO DU DERBY – Dynamic 31-1 winner of an Enghien Class D on 18 October, but bit off too much in a Gr.2 here a fortnight later, and is not about to trouble the judge
- MAJOR MESLOIS – Disappointing in both recent harness starts, has shown little flair for the ridden code, and can be confidently disregarded
- MAESTRO DU VOYAGE – Beat a good horse to win over course and distance on 16 November but failed to confirm when eliminated in a Class B a month later, and will first need to show it was no flash in the pan
Summary: Like a horse reborn since switching disciplines, MAITRE PAJELO (6) laid down the law over the short course a fortnight ago and will be heavily-backed to complete the hat-trick. Considerably better than his recent main-track result would suggest, MAESTRO MUSIC (4) will be justifiably well-supported, as will the consistent MEANDRE DE VANDEL (3) who ran 2nd under these conditions earlier in the month. Sanctioned more often than not, MATFABEN D’ENJE (1) trounced the opposition on his return to competition and will be no pushover if he takes to the new profile.

C5 – PRIX DU SAP – 2100m (a1m1/4) – Class C – Harness – EUR € 68,000 - GUAPO MARBOULA – Back under harness after finishing last but one in an Enghien monte Class C early last month. Has been reconfigured but will have other priorities and can be passed over
- HAMONET DE CHOISEL – Somewhat unlucky 4th of 16 in a 3000m Nantes Gr.3 3 weeks ago. Trainer could not have wished for a better engagement and Anthony Barrier will be determined to make hay. Claim
- HOVE PONT VAUTIER – Tough element making first appearance since August. Is reunited with Alexandre Abrivard though who placed with him over track and trip in June, and must be retained. First 5
- HIGH PROPULSION – Could have finished closer than 5th of 14, ahead of GEANT SARTHOIS (6), in a Class C here in late-October had she been able to launch her run sooner, and will have her chances if Benoit Robin keeps her out of trouble
- HELIOS SI – Drops in category after running 7th of 13 in a Mauquenchy Gr.3 last week, but still appears to have too much to do
- GEANT SARTHOIS – Blows hot and cold but should not be too hastily-judged for recent disappointment behind HIGH PROPULSION (4) here on 30 October. Starts in front and will be dangerous if afforded a run this time
- HOCHE – Showed improvement, on 2nd start back, when 7th of 15 in a 2850m Class C here a week ago. Will be fully fit by now and should logically prove more competitive
- GUERRIER CASTELETS – Eurotrotting individual returning to the mainland after losing his action in Palma. Tends to go well for Matthieu Abrivard though and must not be overlooked
- HAWAI PONT VAUTIER – Showed form during the summer but has since lost his way. Mathieu Mottier gets the nod this time and will assure his charge a competitive drive
- HECTOR DE BASSIERE – Completed the hat-trick when comfortably winning a 2575m Agen Class C 9 days ago. Forced to break from behind but in present shape must still be considered a contender
- GEDEON DAIRPET – Sprang something of a surprise when 2nd in a Salon-de-Provence Class D a month ago and is not about to confirm
- ASTRONASCENTE ZAC – Gave a reassuringly good account in Mons last month but has placed just once in 6 starts under these conditions and can be ruled out
- BAHIA DEL CIRCEO – Returns from a brief autumn campaign at home in Italy, but has little love for Vincennes these days and will have few friends
- ADAMO DIPA – Has done nothing but improve lately, most recently running 4th behind GEDEON DAIRPET (11) at Salon-de-Provence, however in this company will have nothing to contribute
Summary: Ideally-engaged here, 4th in a Nantes Gr.3 earlier in the month, HAMONET DE CHOISEL (2) boasts fine credentials over these shorter trips and from the 2-spot can open his 2025 account. GEANT SARTHOIS (6) was very unlucky here in late-October and Christophe Martens will be keen to put things right. HECTOR DE BASSIERE (10) made it 3 wins on the trot when having his way at Agen last week and although currently winless at the venue, has been reconfigured and could finally put that fact to bed. HIGH PROPULSION (4) gave a most encouraging account here late last month and in similar form can finish closer.

C6 – PRIX DE MAINTENON – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class B – Harness – EUR € 52,000 - LE REVE D’OLMEN – Quality element starting for first time since winning a 2100m Class D here on 9 September, but has not been seen since and is clearly in conditioning-mode
- LABEL DE LARRE – Quality trotter being conditioned ahead of a campaign under the saddle and can be passed over
- LORIGRE – Enjoyed first win of the year when getting his nose in front over 2100m here on 18 September. Ran 3rd at Graignes last month though and will need to find more
- LIVANTO KALOUMA – Capable type but stays shod for 2nd start since the break and best to keep one’s powder dry
- LEWIS RIVER – Justifiably well-regarded colt with a pair of return runs under his belt. Has not won for over a year and is unlikely to this time either, but nonetheless has the wherewithal to finish in the mix
- LAGNU MAG – 42 runs and still chasing that elusive first win. Consistently gives everything he has though and has been reconfigured for the occasion. First 5
- LUPIN D’OLMEN – Fine colt with an enviable strike-rate but stays shod for comeback and is not a concern
- LOBBING DE BLARY – Runner-up to LEONARDO VICI (11) in September prior to coming 2nd again at Le Croisé-Laroche a month ago. Seldom disappoints in the day’s configuration and is not about to start now. Chance
- LEADER DE JOUDES – Quality element that placed in a Gr.3 last winter. Has 3 races under his belt and, barefoot for the first time over 2700m here, looks the pick of the field
- LOUP INDIEN – Won 2 of last 3, courageously securing an Agen Class A last week. Has no left-handed references but is still easy to like for a place in the frame
- LEONARDO VICI – Has won 3 of 4 starts when barefoot, including over 2700m here, and after blowing the cobwebs away here early this month, returns in competition-mode and can bring home the bacon
Summary: Given three conditioners following a long layoff, LEADER DE JOUDES (9) races barefoot for his first objective of the winter meeting and, confirmed at a superior level, should be good enough to win his first race since August 2024. Theo Duvaldestin will be unsurprisingly wary of the terrifically-entered, and talented, LEONARDO VICI (11) who is barefoot after his own comeback run earlier in the month. LOBBING DE BLARY (8) has excelled since the spell and is clearly close to winning another. A model of consistency, LOUP INDIEN (10) gives Vincennes another go and will be no easy touch if he stays in stride.

C7 – PRIX PAUL BUQUET – 2850m (a2m) – Gr2 – Mounted – EUR € 120,000 - JE M’ENVOLE – Won a Class B over 2175m before running 3rd behind FULTON (4) in the 2175m Gr.2 Prix Reynolds here on 3 November. Will race barefoot this time though, and although not his favourite trip, should not be underestimated
- GOOD GIRL MARCEAUX – Moderate mare that is clearly the weak link here. Goes barefoot for the occasion but others still preferred
- IMPALA DE VAL – Superb winner of a 2850m Laval Class A on 1 November. Thrives over 2850m here and could well bring the fight to IDEALE DU CHENE (7)
- FULTON – Courageous 2nd to the good It’s A Dollarmaker in the 2175m Gr.2 Prix Reynolds here on 3 November before being conditioned under harness at Mauquenchy. Has nothing to prove over track and trip and can play a leading role
- JEAN BALTHAZAR – Gr.1 Prix des Centaures winner earlier in the year but has just the one race in him since his holiday and is unlikely to make any waves
- HIRONDELLE DU RIB – Has not been seen under the saddle since winning Gr.1 Prix Henri Desmontils over course and distance last March, at 24-1. Will be fit by now but would be preferred barefoot
- IDEALE DU CHENE – Classy mare with form at the highest level. Faces first leg of winter campaign with shoes off and every chance of imposing
Summary: Winner of this race 12 months ago as Julien Le Mer plotted her course to the Prix de Cornulier, IDEALE DU CHENE (7) has had the benefit of 4 conditioning runs, will be barefoot for her first goal of the winter, and should be able to wrap this up. Benjamin Rochard can still expect to come under pressure from recent Laval winner IMPALA DE VAL (3) who has a particular liking for these precise conditions, and FULTON (4) who will be barefoot as he was when runner-up in the Gr.2 Prix Reynolds early this month.

C8 – PRIX DE LA VILLE DE ROYAN – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class C – Harness – EUR € 53,000 - KENOR DESBOIS – Useful element that seldom disappoints when focused but has not been seen out since June and is going to need the race
- KITKO DAIRPET – Surprise 3rd in a Class D under these conditions a fortnight ago, but the step up in category appears a step too far
- KAZAN BEACH – Going well when eliminated here late last month. Is patently in good shape though and the presence of Eric Raffin in the bike will do his chances no harm. Place chance
- KAZAR – No slouch on a good day and ran 7th behind KOVES DU PONT (12) in a 2100m Class C here last week, on his first start for 2 months, but still needs to show improvement
- KILOU D’YMER – Hardy sort switching codes for a change of scenery and will have other ambitions
- KAMIKAZE DU CAMPUS – Respectable trotter with form here, but starts for the first time since February and will have nothing to offer
- KER POULGWEN – Surprisingly below-par in a 2100m Class C here on 24 October. Is some way off last winter’s form, but it will not be long before he starts to come good again
- KEN FERFAY – 5th behind KOVES DU PONT (12) in a 2100m Class C here last week. Goes well for Paul Ploquin and while unlikely to win this, can nevertheless pick up some prizemoney
- KATIM DU GOUTIER – Disappointing on the whole over recent weeks. Goes barefoot this time but still has a lot more to find
- KING DE L’OUEST – Has won 3 of last 4 barefoot starts, most recently flying up in a 2850m Class C on 10 October. Prepped nicely at Châtelaillon and looks a serious proposition
- KING GEORGES – Tricky sort but not short of ability. Races barefoot for the first time and can get in on the action if Damien Bonne manages to keep him focused
- KOVES DU PONT – Made up for late-October run when 3rd in a 2100m Class C here last week despite a poor trip. Has placed just once in 4 over course and distance, but in present shape is easy to like for a first-5 cheque
- KAISER DES GRANGES – Produced a fine effort to run 2nd in a Class C over course and distance late last month. Has clearly found his feet again and will not be sent out at 37-1 this time
- KISS ME AGAIN – Imposed at Bordeaux before being conditioned at Laval early this month. Is hard to fault in the day’s configuration and with Benjamin Rochard back in the bike, can play a leading role
- KONDOR – Useful type with a pair of runs in him following the break. Is barefoot for the occasion, and is proven over track and trip, but still no more than a minor place chance
- KIKI AND CO – Useful individual prepping for a campaign under the saddle and can be confidently passed over
Summary: In fine shape and a tough nut to crack when barefoot, KING DE L’OUEST (10) presents decent course-and-distance credentials and has a realistic shot at confirming last month’s impressive success. KAZAN BEACH (3) ran 2nd to him that day and with application can again figure prominently, but the better-engaged, reconfigured, and more dependable KISS ME AGAIN (14) looks a marginally better bet. In the frame in two recent starts under these conditions, KAISER DES GRANGES (13) is easy to like.

- DAMASK BLADE – Nice win by 4.5 lengths over 2000m at Vichy in a Class 3 handicap on September 22nd. Capable of making the top three
- FUTURE FATE – 7th on the one run this year over 2000m in a Listed race on March 22nd at La Teste. Ought to be involved at the finish and should be fit after an absence
- COMME QUOI – Unplaced last time, 4th previously over 2000m in a Group 3 race at Saint-Cloud on March 16th. Merits close consideration
- TULPAR – 3rd two runs back over 1900m in a conditions race at Saarbucken (DEU) on September 20th. Unlikely to trouble some of these
Summary: MORPHEWAN (1) won two runs back over 2000m at Pau on the PSF and ran a good race at Deauville early this month. COMME QUOI (5) ran a good race in a Group 3 race at Saint-Cloud in March and ran a credible race at Clairefontaine in a Listed race in August. FUTURE FATE (4) has been absent since running in a Listed race in late March and is capable of playing a lead role with fitness taken on trust.

- SAINT MARTIN – Showed a good amount of promise when 4th at Bordeaux Le Bouscat on September 8th over 1600m in a conditions race. Can improve for the step up in trip
- MISTRALOU – Unplaced on the only start over 2000m at Lyon Parilly on October 30th in a maiden race. Needs to make progress to be involved
- THE FIST – Unplaced on the sole start over 2000m at Pau on October 22nd in a maiden event. This will be challenging for him
- SPRINGSTEEL – Well beaten on the one run over 2000m at Lyon Parilly on October 30th in a maiden race. One to watch for the time being
- TACHELIHT – Unraced colt by Literato, the dam ran a few times. Likely to improve for this run unless the betting market is vibrant
Summary: SAINT MARTIN (5) ran a race full of promise on debut when he was fourth over 1600m at Bordeaux Le Bouscat in September. He will improve for the step up in distance today and is preferred ahead of TI AMO BELLO (4), who shaped well when fourth at Marseille Borely in early October. He was only a length behind MARTAGNY (1) that day, and they can both make the likely favourite work hard. LOHENGREEN (2) showed ability on debut and warrants respect.

- BLANCA – Showed ability when 7th in a maiden at Lyon Parilly on October 30th on her sole run. One to watch for the time being
- PERSIANA – Two unplaced runs, 6th on the most recent over 2000m on the PSF on November 12th in a maiden race. Pass over
- LUZZU TRAOU LAND – Placed 4th on her one start over 1900m at Nimes on November 1st in a maiden event. She can improve and has outside place claims
- I AM STILL STANDING – Three unplaced runs, 5th on her latest over 1800m at Lyon La Soie on November 17th in a maiden race. Has shown ability and can be on the premises
- LOOK – Placed 3rd on her last run over 2000m at Lyon Parilly on October 30th in a maiden race. Among the leading players

- LACALAS – Unraced filly by Stunning Spirit, the dam won 2 races. Her trainer is a shrewd operator who does well with newcomers. Watch the betting patterns for clues
- PRINCESS ALMA – Newcomer by Kendargent, the dam never raced. Likely to need this debut run unless the betting vibes are strong
- PRINCESS ALICE – Unraced filly by Stunning Spirit, the dam won 2 races. Her trainer is a shrewd operator who does well with newcomers. Watch the betting for clues
- LA GRANDE JOA – Unraced filly by The Grey Gatsby, the dam won 1 race. Stable runners warrant respect. The betting patterns can be the best guide
- MAMA STRALIA – Filly on debut by Australia, the dam won 1 race. Nice profile and from a respected stable. One to look at in the betting for any market moves
Summary: BEDDA VITA (1) has shown enough on her two runs to take a race of this nature. She was a pleasing third on the artificial surface last time and could be even better on turf. Her main threat could be LOOK (7), who was a decent third at Lyon Parilly in late October in a maiden at the end of October. I AM STILL STANDING (6) has shown ability in her three runs and is one to look at each way. LACALAS (9) could be the best of the newcomers and is worth a market check.
