  3. INDOCILE – Unreliable and finished 4th in Class D at Amiens over 2400m on 13 November. Can earn some more money this distance

  5. IOUPY TOLLEVILLE – Very competitive of late and was runner-up in Class D at Laval over 2850m on 7 November. Clearly not out of it

    Summary: IDEAL DE CASTELLE (13) remains in very good form. He is well suited to this distance and can score for Eric Raffin. HEROS DE CHOISEL (2) is also at the top of his game and has some solid recent wins behind him. He will be a threat yet again. IERMES DE GUEZ (15) showed improvement over this course and distance and could be more competitive this time around. IDOLE D’OURVILLE (12) is consistent and can get into the mix of things. The unreliable INDOCILE (3) could also make the frame if in the right mood.

    Summary: LAMIRAL D’ERABLE (4) fluffed his lines with a disqualification last time out at this course but would have learned from that experience. He is better judged on his good penultimate run and has claims in a very open race. LE VOILA SAUTONNE (14) is not reliable but is racing without shoes on mounted race debut and must be respected for that. LARGO WIND (11) should challenge for top honours in a race of this nature. LOOKING D’AURCY (15) is unreliable but can make the frame.

    Summary: An open-looking race. LOU DU DONJON (10) struggled over this course and distance earlier this month but is clearly capable of better. She gets a narrow vote to score. LAYANA DE HOUELLE (4) will strip fitter this time and has claims over this track and trip. LOLLIPOP DU CEBE (2) was a good winner earlier this month at Le Croisé-Laroche, and it would not be a surprise to see her follow up. LAURENCE MADRIK (9) is another that is capable of doing better and could be a threat.

    Summary: JOSHUA PEJI (6) is clearly very talented. He was a very easy winner over this course and distance earlier this month. There is every reason to believe he will follow up and win again. JAG MAHCATH (9) is barefoot and in good form and if there is to be a threat it may well come from him. DAMISELA (1) is not reliable but is quite capable of making the frame. JADE DE CASTELLE (5) was not disgraced over this track and trip last time and can earn some more money.

    Summary: KASSIOPEE WIND (15) was clearly not at her best in her last two starts. She defends a good record when barefoot and can bounce back to win. KAZACHOK (12) has been at his best of late and should be right there at the finish yet again. KINGSLAND DE SIMM (11) hinted at another good performance when runner-up at Lyon-Parilly and must be respected for that. KALINE DU JOUR (7) picked up a pair of mounted race victories of late and will need to show that here in a harness race.

MISS BLACK BERRY (1) is capable of challenging her rival again but does come with disqualification issues. MOUSKIE DE GUEZ (14) is usually competitive and should contest the finish again. MY QUALITA PIYA (11) has a hat-trick of recent faults but is also capable of making the frame when in the right mood.

  5. PORTO GIUNCO – Several unplaced runs on the flat, the latter over 2400m at Parislongchamp on August 31st in a handicap. Makes limited appeal
  6. VOILA VOILA – 7th on the one run over 2950m at Machecoul on November 11th on the flat. From a respected trainer who will have this gelding well prepared
  7. MELINOS DE CHARNIE – 8th on the one start over 3100m at Saint-Cloud on September 12th in a maiden on the flat. Look for an alternative
  8. PADDOCKWOOD – Placed several times on the flat, the latter when 3rd over 2500m at Nancy on October 12th in a handicap. He will be well schooled by his new trainer
  9. SAINT FLORENT – 6th on the last two flat runs, the most recent over 1800m at Marseille Borely on June 18th in a maiden race. From a shrewd stable that does well with a small string of jumpers
  10. ALASTOR MAUGREY – Ran well when 2nd over 2400m at Lyon La Soie on October 24th in a handicap. Can play a role on hurdling debut
  11. MAX DE SIVOLA – Unraced gelding by Beaumec De Houelle. the dam never raced. Stable runners are well prepared by their trainer. The betting can be the best guide to expected performance

    Summary: PADDOCKWOOD (8) has plenty of racecourse experience on the flat with several placed efforts. He looks like the type to do well over hurdles. ALASTOR MAUGREY (10) has been in decent form with two second-place runs on the flat recently. He will be well schooled by connections for his hurdles debut. VESCO (13) is a winner on the flat and should stay this distance. He can be involved as can, BRUN DE TZAR (14), who has a taking profile and will be well prepared by his trainer on debut.

  17. MAGIC DANCER – Unraced gelding by Voiladenuo, the dam was placed over fences. Stable runners are usually well forward and know what is required. Worth a market check

  19. WILD FUN – Unraced gelding by For Fun, the dam ran a few times over jumps. His trainer has three in the line-up. Judged on jockey booking, he could be the most backward of the three unless the betting market speaks volumes.

    Summary: CHONBURI (5) struck perfectly last time out over the track and trip and will be of no surprise if she continues her winning trend here. She is the horse to beat. VINO (4)’s last run can be ignored as her penultimate start found her finishing a close second to the top choice. There is a massive weight turnaround from that run which will make her extremely competitive in this contest. LIGHTED GLORY (7) must not be excluded from any betting calculations. SHAMSABAD (6) is another than deserves a mention.

    Summary: BOBBYMURPHY (4) deserves to be applauded after a full fight victory when he visited Lyon La Soie’s 1800m in his last attempt. He looks to have his accolades intact and can snatch another victory. SOUS INFLUENCE (2) was second in command last time out just behind the top choice and renewing their rivalry could have this soldier seeking vengeance especially having a weight swing. CEDRIS (10) was a firm winner previously and could take full advantage if the top two fluff their lines. ALLURRE (5) heads the rest.

    Summary: An open-looking race with most runners capable of improvement. BAYTIKA (5) was a bit of a disappointment at Clairefontaine last month after a promising debut. She probably needed that run and can bounce back to score. YELLOW DREAM (6) has been consistent so far and is threatening to win a race. BALTIC DUKE (2) has track experience and can get involved in the finish. ART PIECE (4) tries blinkers and is another to consider.

    Summary: CARTIMANDUA (3) has struck a purple patch of form at this track. There is no real reason to believe she cannot complete a treble of wins. She looks the right one. OCEAN DIAMOND (1) has also run well at this course and can contest the finish yet again. AUTEUR (7) is capable of better than his recent runs and can make the frame. DIRE LA VERITÉ (8) is unreliable but will appreciate being back on the flat and can earn some money.

    Summary: IMPARATOR (6) showed improvement over this course and distance earlier this month. He can go one better and take out this lucky last race. FANTASTIC STAR (1) remains in good form and should fight it out yet again. RODANYA (11) has not shown her best of late but is a threat in a race of this nature. INTER POL (3) is also capable of showing improvement over this course and distance and must be respected in this line-up.
