R1 VINCENNES [L-H]
C1 – PRIX CITIZEN KID (PX JULES LEPENNETIER) – 2850m (a2m) – Class B – Harness – EUR € 52,000
- LABEL DE LARRE – Serious element with better references under the saddle. Is still in conditioning-mode and has nothing to offer
- LE VOYOU D’ALMO – Moderate element with better credentials in the other code. Is here for reasons of conditioning and can be disregarded
- LORD DE LOIRON – Placed in 2 in the provinces before being quickly eliminated in a Gr.3 under these conditions a fortnight ago. Sports pads this time but still cannot be ruled out
- LARA CROFT – Seldom disappoints when barefoot and focused, latterly runner-up to LUDIVINE (8) in a 2700m Class B here on 29 November. Is not destined to win this but should nevertheless play an active role
- LUTIN VENESI – Serious sort with decent references in this category. Has a pair of conditioners under his belt and with shoes off for the occasion should not disappoint. First 5
- LAUREATE DRY – Lost her way after winning over track and trip last April. Has a race in her since the autumn break but would be preferred barefoot
- LOVER MAN – Gr.2-placed colt that left a good impression despite being eliminated here early last month. Trainer in the bike this time and winning this would be no surprise
- LUDIVINE – Returned to successful ways, on just 2nd start back, easily winning a 2700m Class B here a fortnight ago. Races with morale at a high and will be no easy touch
- LUTIN DE REUX – Quality individual whose latest numbers do not reflect his true value. Won at this level during the autumn and, given the chance, can confirm
- LIZZANO D’ALOUETTE – Serious colt that acquitted himself particularly well here last winter. Has a race under his belt and, if sufficiently fit, could pleasantly surprise
- LA STAR ROC – Starts for the first time since August. Regularly bites off more than she can chew, but is barefoot for re-entry, and in this category could just get a look in
Summary: He may not always be the easiest of horses to handle, and may have disappointed here last month, but LUTIN DE REUX (9) is considerably better than latest results would suggest and drops down the category-ladder with a realistic chance of imposing. Alexandre Abrivard will still be mindful of LOVER MAN (7) who lost his action that day but nevertheless showed his form, and LUDIVINE (8) who won the first of her winter just 2 weeks ago. LIZZANO D’ALOUETTE (10) is competitively-shod following his comeback run and must be respected.

C2 – PRIX UNE DE MAI – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Gr2 – Harness – EUR € 120,000 - NOIRE INTENSE – Imposed on debut at Laval in mid-November before losing her action in a Class D over course and distance 9 days ago, and is unlikely to have many friends
- NO LIMIT DELO – Won her first 2 before being quickly eliminated in a Class B over course and distance 11 days ago. Has evident ability though and can get in on the action if Benjamin Rochard keeps her focused
- NOT FOR FUN – Debut winner at Châteaubriant on 11 November before repeating 10 days later in a 2100m Class C here. Takes a giant leap in category but receives a Gabriele Gelormini drive this time, and cannot be ruled out
- NORMA JEANE – Unexceptional 6th to NANIKA DU PONT (11) in a Class B over course and distance earlier in the month, and will have nothing to contribute
- NOVA ISTORIA CHOC – Courageous 4th to NACRE DU MOUTHIEUX (10) in 2200m Gr.3 Prix Vourasie here 3 weeks ago. Will not be available at 118-1 this time but is not going to be as competitive either
- NOVA TIM – In the frame in all but one start to date, most recently 2nd to NANIKA DU PONT (11) in a Class B over course and distance earlier in the month. In this company though, will struggle to make her mark
- NEREIDA – Solid as a rock in all 3 starts to date, latterly 3rd to NOUBA DU BAS BOSQ (14) in 2200m Gr.3 Prix Marcel Dejean here on 17 October. Has not been seen out since, and debuts over the main track, but still looks a respectable first-5 prospect
- NYMPHE D’ELLE – Was going well when eliminated in Prix Vourasie on 22 November. Takes the logical next step but whether she can deliver at this level remains to be seen
- NORMANDIE NIEMEN – Quality element that lost all chance at the start of the Prix Vourasie but is clearly up to the task and can make a big splash if she gets off on the right foot
- NACRE DU MOUTHIEUX – Has gone from strength to strength since her August debut, winning all three, latterly dominating the 2200m Gr.3 Prix Vourasie here 3 weeks ago, and looks set to maintain her victorious ways
- NANIKA DU PONT – Opened her Vincennes account early this month, comfortably winning a Class B over the distance. Is not a priority on this occasion but should nevertheless hold her own
- NAYARA – Won a Class B before coming 2nd to NACRE DU MOUTHIEUX (10) in 2200m Gr.3 Prix Vourasie here 3 weeks ago. Has ground to make up but still has a realistic chance of making the frame
- NOCIVE DU CHOQUEL – Generous filly that ran 3rd to NACRE DU MOUTHIEUX (10) in the 2200m Gr.3 Prix Vourasie here 3 weeks ago. François Lagadeuc in the bike this time and is unlikely to be going home empty-handed
- NOUBA DU BAS BOSQ – Won her first 4 starts before suffering interference in the 2200m Gr.3 Prix Vourasie here 3 weeks ago. Has talent to burn though and will have her chances if kept out of harm’s way
Summary: Some fine future prospects lining up here and perhaps none more so than NACRE DU MOUTHIEUX (10) who made it an undefeated 3 for 3 here late last month. She takes to the main track for the first time but is a class act and should not disappoint. Clément Duvaldestin will still be keeping a watchful eye on the Philippe Allaire-trained duo of NORMANDIE NIEMEN (9) who rallied after being eliminated in the Gr.3 Prix Vourasie, and NOUBA DU BAS BOSQ (14) who failed to complete the 5-timer when enduring a tough trip that day. NAYARA (12), however, ran a good 2nd and goes particularly well for Eric Raffin.

C3 – PRIX DE VINCENNES – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Gr1 – Mounted – EUR € 240,000 - MARION D’HAFLING – 2nd in a 2175m Class D here on re-entry early this month. Quite clearly useful but at this level will have little chance of making her presence felt
- MOJITO FRAISE – 5th to MANITAS DE TRUCHON (7) in 2175m Gr.2 Prix Raoul Ballière here a fortnight ago, on his first start under the saddle, but is unlikely to improve on that
- MIRATISSIME – Tricky filly that has nothing to offer in a race like this and can be confidently disregarded
- MOUSTIK LA GOVELLE – Eliminated in last 2 harness starts but has nevertheless shown significant form. Is new to the code but clearly has bags of ability and will be no pushover if he stays in stride
- MILOR DE LA VALLEE – Handy sort with solid references with Eric Raffin, but takes on a serious lot this time and chances appear limited
- MEMPHIS DE BRASSE – Made his monte debut at Caen 2 months ago a winning one, dominating the 2450m Gr.2 Saint Léger des Trotteurs. Freshened up in a Gr.2 under harness and returns to the code with a good hand to play
- MANITAS DE TRUCHON – Produced a 37-1 surprise when winning the 2175m Gr.2 Prix Raoul Ballière here a fortnight ago. A repeat seems improbable but can nevertheless pick up a first-5 cheque
- MELODY DE VIVOIN – Pris d’Essai runner-up in June but has not been quite as sharp since and will have her work cut out
- MATIGNON – Made up for Gr.2 Prix Louis Tillaye elimination when 3rd to MANITAS DE TRUCHON (7) in 2175m Gr.2 Prix Raoul Ballière here a fortnight ago. Unlikely to get off the mark this time either but should still be competitive for a place cheque
- MISS DES BESACES – Has turned a corner over recent months, latterly running 4th to MANITAS DE TRUCHON (7) in 2175m Gr.2 Prix Raoul Ballière here a fortnight ago. Has ground to make up but has a big heart and will be worth monitoring
- MADEMOISELLE JANE – Ran METEORE DE SIMM (13) close in Gr.2 Prix Louis Tillaye over course and distance in late-October before losing her action in Prix Raoul Ballière late last month. On good behaviour though, could pleasantly surprise
- MHUM FLYNG – Twice a Gr.2 winner that was beaten only by an outsider in 2175m Gr.2 Prix Raoul Ballière here a fortnight ago. Is very hard to fault when focused and looks a serious proposition
- METEORE DE SIMM – By some margin the classiest horse in the race. Has swept all before him so far and is expected to continue the trend. Mathieu Mottier has yet to win this race but enjoys an excellent chance this time
Summary: Unbeaten in 6 starts under the saddle, including a Gr.1, METEORE DE SIMM (13) will again be a tough nut to crack. He will still face opposition from the tricky but talented MOUSTIK LA GOVELLE (4) who takes his first competitive steps in the discipline, and the exciting MHUM FLYNG (12) who ran 2nd in the Gr.2 Prix Raoul Ballière. Third that day when heavily-backed, MATIGNON (9) has frequently come close to losing his maiden tag and can again figure prominently.

C4 – PRIX DE BRIARE – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class D – Harness – EUR € 59,000 - ICARE D’ACADIE – Unexceptional trotter that has placed just once in 4 Vincennes starts and has nothing to offer
- SIDNEY CELEBER – Reliability not his strong suit but ran 2nd in a 2100m Class D here on 16 November. In this company though is unlikely to repeat
- VALLATONIAN – Fine servant that has taken well to Vincennes conditions. Gave a fine account over 2100m here on comeback, has a particular liking for 2700m, and will not be far from the action
- HUMANITY PELLINI – Produced a pair of fine efforts over 2100m before running 6th behind JOLIVERT DU GERS (16) in a 2850m Class D here 2 weeks ago. Is not a priority but is not incapable of picking up some first-5 prizemoney either
- DYLAN DOG FONT – Honest Italian import that has yet to produce the goods since coming to France and is unlikely to begin now
- JACOMO BELLO – Speedy sort dropping back in category after running 5th in a 2850m Class B here. Trainer in the bike this time and in current form is unlikely to be far off the mark. Attention
- MISTER INVICTUS – Handy dual-discipline element that failed to deliver here in mid-November and is being aimed too high
- JOBSPOST – High-calibre Scandinavian trotter but has yet to deliver in 2 Vincennes appearances. JMB in the bike on this occasion and can impose if he assures his charge’s initial strides
- CHITCHAT – Imposed on re-entry at Mauquenchy before running 3rd, a place behind JOLIVERT DU GERS (16), in a 2850m Class D here 2 weeks ago. Has placed just once in 3 starts over 2700m here but in present form is hard to ignore
- JAPAROV LIRE – Produced a 31-1 surprise when 3rd to JIZOU D’ETANG (11) in a 2850m Class C here on 20 November. Has been reconfigured for the occasion but looks no more than a minor place chance
- JIZOU D’ETANG – Ran good 2nd at Angers before making short work of a 2850m Class C here on 20 November. Takes on some better horses this time but still looks competitive for the win
- HAIKIDO – Surprise 7th of 13 behind JOLIVERT DU GERS (16) here late last month, on first start after the spell. Will have come on somewhat but still faces something of a challenge
- JIBI DU FRUITIER – No slouch on a good day but has not been at his sharpest lately and others preferred
- FREEDOM (NOR) – Has not put a foot wrong since the autumn, latterly running 3rd, a place behind SIDNEY CELEBER (2), in a 2100m Class D in mid-November. Has never disappointed under these conditions and is not about to start now
- MATEO DI QUATTRO – Nicely-engaged type that ran 4th behind JOLIVERT DU GERS (16) here late last month. Boasts decent Vincennes form and should not be overlooked
- JOLIVERT DU GERS – Faithful servant that finished runner-up in last 2, most recently beating CHITCHAT (9) in a 2850m Class D here 2 weeks ago. Benefits from a terrific entry and will not be sent out at 28-1 this time
Summary: A classy Nordic element that lost his action in both starts this winter, JOBSPOST (8) will be entrusted to Jean-Michel Bazire this time and can impose if he gets his charge off on the right foot. JIZOU D’ETANG (11) recently imposed with ease here though and with form maintained could yet double his money. CHITCHAT (9) took no time getting back in the game and looks competitive once more. FREEDOM (NOR) (14) is winless since January but has been knocking at the door and is not about to let the side down any time soon. VALLATONIAN (3) left a very good impression on his recent re-entry and will have progressed for the race.
SELECTIONS

C5 – PRIX JAG DE BELLOUET-CORNULIER RACES Q1 – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Gr1 – Mounted – EUR € 200,000 - LOCHAN – Talented but capricious colt that has picked up this term where he left off in June. Is barefoot this time but still has no possible chance
- LEMON FLEURY – On paper, not an obvious choice, but has shown promise and is not here for reasons of conditioning. Place chance
- LAFOLLY DELO – Has been pleasing over recent months, latterly 4th to LIONHEART (13) in Prix Philippe du Rozier late last month. Has too much ground to make up though and can be passed over
- LAMBADA DU GOUTIER – Complicated filly that ran 2nd to LIONHEART (13) in Prix Philippe du Rozier late last month. Is never far from faulting though and others easier to back
- LYZIA DES AGETS – 4th to LIONHEART (13) in Gr.2 Prix Ceneri Forcinal before winning a Class B over the inner course last month, but cannot be considered a player this time around
- FEUDALE DEGLI DEI – Talented colt under harness and has previously won over the main track. Is new to the code but will be barefoot for the occasion and can get a look in
- LAKANA DE FELLIERE – Has done everything asked of her so far this winter, most recently 3rd to LIONHEART (13) in 2175m Prix Philippe du Rozier 2 weeks ago. Is not about to cause an upset but runs barefoot for the first time in this class and looks competitively well in
- LIBERTE DU GOUTIER – Has taken superbly to her new vocation and latest run can be ignored. Ran 2nd to LIONHEART (13) in Gr.1 Prix des Elites and will be expected to bounce back and finish in the mix
- LUCKY JACKSON – Heavily-campaigned colt that has done nothing noteworthy for some time and can be ruled out
- L’ECRIN D’OR – Mixes the good with the less good but was a particularly encouraging 3rd to LIONHEART (13) in Gr.2 Prix Ceneri Forcinal over course and distance on 6 November. Runs barefoot this time and can bring the fight to him
- LISBONNE DRY – Not the most dynamic horse here but did run 2nd in Gr.1 Prix du Président earlier in the year and should not be overlooked
- LEXIE DE BANVILLE – Gr.1 Prix de Vincennes winner this time last year, but has not been as sharp since and is unlikely to shake things up
- LIONHEART – After winning Prix des Elites, went on to win both subsequent Gr.2s with consummate ease. Simply thrives with Eric Raffin and it will take a very good horse to beat them
Summary: Back at the top of his game over recent months, LIONHEART (13) ran away with his last 3 starts and, barefoot as he was when winning the Gr.1 Prix des Elites, is going to take all the beating. Eric Raffin will be legitimately wary though of Gr.1 Prix du Président winner L’ECRIN D’OR (10) who will also race barefoot for the occasion, and LIBERTE DU GOUTIER (8) whose latest performance should not be taken at face value. LEMON FLEURY (2) has never raced at this level, but will be barefoot, and Mathieu Mottier knows what he’s doing.

C6 – PRIX GENERAL DU POMMEAU – 2850m (a2m) – Class B – Harness – EUR € 60,000 - ENEA FONT – Quality Dutch trotter coming to France for the first time. Somewhat disappointing in Victoria Park last month but has merit and should not be written off
- ELEOMEDA JET – Consistent Italian mare taking her chances in France for the first time, but at this level will have nothing to offer
- KLINGER (NOR) – Handy sort taking a brief moment out of the monte discipline. Is here for a change of scenery and can be passed over
- NOT FOR SALE – Tough Scandinavian element making first appearance south of the nordics. Comes here fresh and barefoot, but is unlikely to cause an upset
- KINGEN MEARAS – Takes first competitive steps in France after having reassured at home in Sweden early last month. Wajersten horses are firing on all cylinders and this one will be no pushover if he takes to the new profile
- KALISKANA – Returns to racing barefoot after prepping here early this month. Runs barefoot this time, has previously won at this level, and will generate some interest
- NELSON GREENWOOD – Justifiably well-regarded sort that ran 3rd in a Class B last time here. Goes barefoot with Alexandre Abrivard in the bike, but may still be taking on too much
- KASSIOPEE WIND – Normally superb when barefoot but lost her action when assured 2nd place in a 2700m Class C here early this month. On good behaviour though can challenge for the win
- JIGGER – Quality Danish trotter that bit off too much in a Gr.3 here last month. Hind shoes off this time but still not an obvious choice
- KIKA JOSSELYN – Flew up on her return to Vincennes on 21 November in a 2100m Class C. Has earned the right to race at this level, has won 3 of 4 in the day’s configuration, and can expect significant support
- KINGSMAN D’EOLE – Quality element returning to Vincennes on a hat-trick. Steps up in category and is unlikely to pull it off, but can nevertheless make his presence felt
- EXPRESS D’ARC – Good, consistent servant that would have finished closer than 5th at Argentan had he not faulted in the final turn. Eric Raffin in the bike this time and will be expected to finish in the mix
- KIPHYLE DESBOIS – Pleasant 7th of 16 in a 2700m Class B here early last month but will still need to find more
- PANTOCRATOR – Unlucky 7th of 15 behind EVERY TIME WINNER (16) in a 2100m Gr.3 here on 16 November. Showed his form though and is not to be underestimated
- KANO – Returns to the harness code after faulting in a monte Gr.2 early last month. Races barefoot but will have other priorities
- EVERY TIME WINNER – Blows hot and cold but ran a superb 3rd of 15 in a 2100m Gr.3 here on 16 November. Is not as productive over 2850m of the main track but in this category will be in with a serious shout of imposing
Summary: Ideally-entered at the limit of earnings, EVERY TIME WINNER (16) takes a notable dip in category after producing a fine effort in a Gr.3 here last month, and has a realistic claim on the silverware. KIKA JOSSELYN (10), though, outclassed the opposition here recently and steps up in category with legitimate ambition. KASSIOPEE WIND (8) would have finished close earlier in the month had he not lost his action and Theo Duvaldestin will be eager to make amends. The Scandinavian KINGEN MEARAS (5) has never raced beyond 2640m but is clearly in form and makes his French bow with a solid chance of finishing close.

C7 – PRIX BILIBILI-CORNULIER RACES Q2 – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Gr1 – Mounted – EUR € 200,000 - EMPIRE AS – Produced a decent effort to come 4th to KEENGAME (9) in Gr.2 Prix Joseph Lafosse here 3 weeks ago, but a repeat seems most improbable
- KISS ME HONEY – Makes just 2nd appearance under there saddle after coming 2nd in a Class C over track and trip late last month, and will be racing here on a prayer
- KALINE DU JOUR – Has taken superbly to her new vocation, winning both during the autumn. Takes on a serious lot this time though and chances limited
- KATCHINA FOR CLARA – Kicked the autumn off well but disappointing in last 2, most recently last of 7 in 22 November race of reference, and has nothing to contribute
- KAZACHOK – Good harness campaigner taking first competitive monte steps. Is unlikely to set Vincennes alight but should nevertheless hold his own
- KARAKA WOOD – Wonderfully consistent in both codes over recent months and latterly flew up in a 2100m harness Gr.3 mid-November, and if still on the boil can trot her way into the money
- KHAL’S FELLA – Out of the picture in both harness starts since the layoff. Is shod to preference but showed little aptitude on her sole monte start and can be passed over
- KID BELLAY – Left quite the impression when fast-finishing 2nd to KEENGAME (9) in Gr.2 Prix Joseph Lafosse over course and distance on 22 November, and with a better trip can exact revenge on Jean-Philippe Monclin’s star
- KEENGAME – Comfortably won the Gr.2 Prix Xavier de Saint Palais before repeating in the Prix Joseph Lafosse 3 weeks ago. Will have a decent claim on the prize provided she first deals with KID BELLAY (8)
- KALIF LANDIA – Unseen in the discipline since running 4th in Gr.1 Prix de Normandie last June. Has a brace of harness conditioners in him since the break but would have better chances if more competitively-shod
- KELLY DE BANVILLE – 2nd to KEENGAME (9) in Gr.2 Prix Xavier de Saint Palais on 7 November before coming 3rd to her again in Gr.2 Gr.2 Prix Joseph Lafosse a fortnight later. Is unlikely to win this time either but has buckets of ability and will not be far off the mark
- KAPAULA DE L’EPINE – Never far from losing her action but has no shortage of ability. Runner-up in Prix Jag De Bellouet this day last year and reverts to a previous formula, but represents no more than a minor place chance
- KYT KAT – 6 times a Gr.2 winner and twice victorious at Gr.1 level. Was eliminated in 22 November race of reference but a repeat of his Gr.2 Prix Edmond Henry performance would see him finish close
Summary: KID BELLAY (8) put in quite the finish after having been denied a run in the Gr.2 Prix Joseph Lafosse here 3 weeks ago and did not have enough time to catch KEENGAME (9) but, if kept out of trouble, could well turn the tables. Eliminated that day and thus unable to confirm his Gr.2 Prix Edmond Henry victory, KYT KAT (13) has not been at his best this year but is still not one to be underestimated. KELLY DE BANVILLE (11) is clearly on the way back up and will be competitive for a place in the frame once again.

C8 – PRIX JEAN DUMOUCH – 2850m (a2m) – Gr3 – Harness – EUR € 90,000 - INDY ROCK – Swedish winter import that lost his action here earlier in the month. Presents solid Vincennes credentials but others still easier to back
- KSAR – Takes a dip in category after running 5th in a Gr.2 over course and distance late last month. Takes on some good older horses this time but can nevertheless get in on the action
- JANGO VICI – Won a brace during the autumn, including over course and distance, but lacklustre in last 2 and needs to reaffirm
- WORKING CLASS HERO – Classy individual with nothing to prove at this level. Was an absolute revelation here last winter and after imposing on re-entry will be expected to take all the beating this time
- IBISCUS MAN – Unthreatening in 3 starts this term, latterly 6th in a 2100m Class A here 10 days ago. Put in a good time that day and although not a priority is nonetheless worth keeping an eye on
- DIAMOND TRUPPO – Has turned a corner since moving to the Duvaldestin stable, most recently close 2nd to WORKING CLASS HERO (4) in a 2700m Class A here on 17 November. Boasts excellent reliability and has the wherewithal to finish thereabouts
- HUBBLE DU VIVIER – In the frame in last 2, latterly runner-up in Gr.2 GNT Final over track and trip on 20 November, but JMB will be expecting to contest the finish this time
- BILO JEPSON – Handy sort with just one race under his belt following a lengthy layoff. Is shod again and will have few takers
- HULYSSE DIGEO – Ran 3rd over course and distance before failing to deliver in the GNT Final. Benefits from a terrific entry and is unlikely to let the side down
- HORCHESTRO – Endured some misfortune when 7th behind HUBBLE DU VIVIER (7) in GNT Final 2 weeks ago. Is patently in excellent shape however and can finish close if he defies the initial handicap
- FULTON – Excellent servant in the other branch of the business. Here for reasons of conditioning and from the back row will have nothing to contribute
- INA DU RIB – Serious mare making just 2nd start back. Is preparing for a campaign under the saddle and can be passed over
Summary: A quality element that ran 2nd in the Gr.1 Prix Ténor de Baune here 12 months ago, WORKING CLASS HERO (4) stayed on well to win a Class A here last month and has an excellent opportunity to confirm. Third that day, HUBBLE DU VIVIER (7) went on to run 2nd in the Gr.2 GNT Final a fortnight ago and looks the main threat. Very unlucky though, HORCHESTRO (10) is 25m worse off this time, but Eric Raffin will be determined to put things right. They may first, however, have to see off HULYSSE DIGEO (9) who, even though shod, starts in front and will be no pushover.

C9 – PRIX ALBERT RAYON – 2100m (a1m1/4) – Gr3 – Harness – EUR € 70,000 - MARA BEST – Eliminated in 2700m Gr.3 Prix de Vaumas here early last month but would have finished in the money otherwise. Placed under similar conditions earlier in the year and with stride in check can finish close
- MISSANDEI – Ran excellent 6th of 9 in a 2700m Gr.2 here in mid-November. Takes on a less-exalted bunch this time and has a decent chance of winning her first race for 14 months
- MOOREA DE CHANLECY – Has been on a fine run of form since the summer. Has never delivered at Vincennes but in present condition is easy to like for a first-5 cheque
- MAIA JIEL – Improving filly that made short work of a 2700m Class A here on 22 November. Seldom disappoints when applied and a similar effort could see her repeat
- MAYA DU SURF – Wonderfully-consistent filly that ran a courageous 2nd in a 2700m Gr.3 here on 6 November. Enjoys a good spot behind the car and should prove competitive at the business end of the race
- MAGIC ROSE – Imposed at Laval before running 2nd in a 2100m Class E over the inner course on 18 November, but in this company has no realistic chance
- MARGAUX DES ARRIS – Unremarkable filly that has done nothing of note for some time and is not about to change her ways
- TULIPE OASIS – Has held her own on both starts here. Will be reined by JMB this time but still has more to find
- MOSAIC LIFE – Tricky individual that was eliminated on re-entry in 6 November race of reference. Will nevertheless have come on for the race and despite the draw should not be ignored
Summary: MISSANDEI (2) gave a very good account of herself against some of the best of her generation here last month and, in similar form, can win a race of this nature. She will still feel the heat from the progressive MAIA JIEL (4) who romped here 3 weeks ago, and MAYA DU SURF (5) who has references at a superior level. MARA BEST (1) will appreciate returning to a mobile start and can begin to come good again.

- KOBE DE LA BRUNIE AA – Has won his last three starts, the latest was a Conditions chase at Auteuil over 2400m on 23 November. Should fight it out

- KORRAL AA – Has won his last four starts in a row, the latest was a Conditions flat race at Limoges over 2400m on. 29 November. Likes this track can score again
- JAMAILYA AA – Has won her last two starts on the flat, the latest being a Conditions flat race at Biguglia over 2400m on 4 May. Consistent over fences but is returning from a break

Summary: A small field but some very in-form competitors. KORRAL AA (3) is unbeaten in three starts this year. He was impressive on the flat last time out at Limoges. He has also won twice at this track in chases and sets the standard. KOBE DE LA BRUNIE AA (1) completed a hat-trick with a fine win at Auteuil last month. He was beaten by KORRAL AA (3) in the past but will not go down without a fight. CENTLOU AA (5) tries a chase and can contest the finish. - YARDBIRD – Placed back in 6th on debut at Fontainebleau over 1800m and will need to improve to win but can do so and go closer

- FELINI – Placed 6th on debut at Le Mans over 1600m on the 17th of last month and can improve. Others are however preferred today. Happy to ignore
- CHARMEUR COOL – Son of Charm Spirit out of a Rajsaman mare that will more than likely need the run. Watch the betting trends as race time looms
- KARLITO – A son of Recoletos out of a Chief Marshal mare that should need racing experience before featuring and can be ignored from all bets for today
- AREYOUONTHELIST – A son of Gris De Gris out of a mare called Victory Boom that will more than likely find this opposition a tad strong on debut. Watch the betting for more of an idea
- FERDY – Is out of a mare called Pitty Pot whom was a one time winner. Watch the betting trends as race time looms but is the unlikely winner
Summary: ASTOVE (2) caught the eye when making an attractive debut just off the main action and with natural progression, can win. - NAOS MOON – Finished near the back of the field in 10th place last time and has very little overall form to talk about which makes it hard to make a case for this one. Would be a shock winner
- BENOLY FAL – She showed improvement in the second run but will need to show plenty more to threaten here. Prefer others and can be ignored
- STELA TREZY – Only managed a 6th place run at Lignieres on debut over 1600m and will need to serve up plenty more than that to feature. Pass by
- TEAM BREIZH – Ran a fair race last time placing 4th at Angers over 2000m and should again be very competitive. Big danger to the top few

The rise in distance should play very much in her favor and she looks to have every chance. DIVA CHIQUITA (6) has placed four from four and should not be a maiden for much longer. TEAM BREIZH (5) finished a fair 4th at Angers last time and can be expected to get closer now. Strong place chance. VEGA MEMORIES (1) has a first four chance and is a natural inclusion for the quartet.
