R1 VINCENNES [L-H]
C1 – PRIX DE MIREVAL – 2200m (a1m1/2) – Class D Amateur Riders – Mounted – EUR € 54,000
- ICARE DU LEARD – Useful element with decent monte form but will need to improve on latest effort behind HELENA GIRL (4)
- HARRY DU LYS – Failed to confirm Enghien victory when lacklustre 7th of 9 in a 2700m Class D here on 28 October. Has not raced since and with shoes fitted will have nothing to contribute
- FLAMBEUR DU DIGEON – Back under the saddle after finishing last of 15 in a 2100m harness Class D here 2 weeks ago. Faces some superior horses on this occasion and chances appear slim
- HELENA GIRL – Pleasant 4th in a 2850m Class D over the main track 3.5 weeks ago. Has won over course and distance under harness, but looks more a minor place chance at best this time
- HEROS DE CHOISEL – Back under the saddle after enduring considerable misfortune in a 2100m harness Class D here on 1 December. Won for Mehdi Lelievre at Enghien during the autumn and in present form can repeat
- IBROX PARK – Won a 2850m harness Class D over the main track before coming 3rd of 14 in a 2650m Marseille-Vivaux Class B 3 weeks ago, also under harness. Unseen under the saddle for 2.5 years but in current form is easy to recommend for a podium finish
- I LOVE D’AMOUR – Fine campaigner making first appearance since late-September but is barefoot for the occasion, under conditions he appreciates, and will be expected to bring the fight to HEROS DE CHOISEL (5)
- IMELDA – Fine servant that seldom puts a foot wrong in this branch of the game. Presents decent references in the day’s configuration and returns to the inner course with a decent hand to play
- HANIELLE CREPIN – Has produced some decent monte performances this term, latest run should not be taken at face value, and has a realistic chance of making the frame this time
- IGGYPOP D’HERFRAIE – Has been enjoying a decent run of form under harness, and won his only start over course and distance, and if form transitions should be able to pick up some first-5 prizemoney
- INVISIBLE SAM – Switches to the monte code after a string of modest harness runs and and is not about to shake things up
- HANDZARO DU BOCAGE – Wonderfully-engaged at the limit of earnings and recently a winner at Amiens. Is new to the monte discipline, and although not competitively-shod, still has the wherewithal to get in on the action
Summary: Three times a winner since August, HEROS DE CHOISEL (5) dominated an Enghien Class D in late-September on his first monte start since November 2022. He has since imposed under harness over the main track and, freshly reconfigured for the occasion, looks a marginally better bet than the ever-consistent, but returning, I LOVE D’AMOUR (7) who won over course and distance during the autumn. HANIELLE CREPIN (9) returns to Vincennes after being conditioned in the provinces, won her only start over track and trip, and will be legitimately well-supported. IBROX PARK (6) is plainly enjoying rude health and takes to the inner course for the first time with a potentially good hand to play.

C2 – PRIX DES FREESIAS – 2100m (a1m1/4) – Class C – Harness – EUR € 38,000 - NEEDREAM – 3rd in a claimer over track and trip on 3 December, followed by 2nd in an Amiens Class D 6 days later. Robin Lamy in the bike this time but still not a contender
- NOLITA MADRIK – Tricky sort but has evident talent. Was quite obviously in good shape here last month and can play a leading role if Pierre Belloche keeps her out of trouble
- NESPERA – Should not be condemned for finishing 6th of 10 in a Class C over course and distance on 21 November. Is patently a good future prospect and must be respected accordingly
- NACHYMA BERRY – Very unlucky 3rd of 13 in a Class C over 2850m here a week ago. Nicolas Bazire hoping to take advantage of her form and Romain Congard will endeavour to put things right
- NOUS QUATRE – Made short work of a 2700m Class D here early this month, first time out. Enjoys a good spot behind the car, with Yoann Lebourgeois reining, and is easy to fancy for a repeat
- NOCE ROYALE – Progressive filly that ran 4th over 2200m here in late-October. Has had time to freshen up and from the front row can give this a good go
- NEPITA – 2nd in a Graignes Class B before being trounced in a Class B over the main track early this month, and is not about to shake things up
- NOVA TURGOT – 4th over course and distance on 21 November but eliminated in 2 since and is not an obvious choice
- NIZZA ROCCA – 5th behind NACHYMA BERRY (4) in a 2850m Class C here a week ago. Has yet to make her mark at this level but is not without merit and could pleasantly surprise
- NINA HAGEN – Has placed just once in 6 starts to date. Has never delivered at Vincennes and is not about to start now
- NASHVILLE BLUE – Tricky type that was eliminated on comeback here a week ago. Has been entrusted to Eric Raffin this time though and can play a prominent role if he keeps her focused
- NYASSA DAXEL – Has yet to show any particular flair for the game and the draw only compounds matters
- NEED YOU AGAIN – Lost her action in a 2275m Nantes Class F on debut 12 days ago and even with Franck Ouvrie reining is unlikely to cause an upset
Summary: Fastest qualifier in the field, NOUS QUATRE (5) duly went on to win easily on debut here 2 weeks ago, and a similar performance would see her double up. NESPERA (3) won her first 2 before failing to deliver here a month ago, but Thierry Duvaldestin would not run her if he had doubts about her chances. NOCE ROYALE (6) has not put a foot wrong since her July debut, pleased on her comeback, and will have progressed for the race. Disqualified after causing interference, despite being full of running, NOLITA MADRIK (2) can be brought back into the fold.

C3 – PRIX DE CHALAIS – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class C – Harness – EUR € 53,000 - KEROSEN DU GERS – Sprang a 31-1 surprise when 4th of 16 in a Class E over track and trip early this month. Has been freshly reconfigured and steps up in category with every chance of getting in on the action
- KOCKTAIL WOOD – Fragile type preparing for a campaign over shorter. Stays shod and can be ruled out
- KEITHOS DU RHIN – Capable individual but starts for first time in 6.5 months and is going to need the race
- KAZAN BEACH – Barring the occasional lack of focus, is hard to knock at this level. Gave a reassuringly-good account here 3 weeks ago and with form maintained can repeat
- KINGSTON DE BLARY – Goes barefoot for the first time since April 2024 after winning a 2100m Class D here 3.5 weeks ago. Faces a tougher task on this occasion but is not one to be underestimated
- KANCALAIS – Has turned a corner since being reconfigured, most recently 3rd in a 2850m Gr.3 here 2.5 weeks ago, beating KOOL GEORGES (10) in the process. Is not about to win this but will not be far off the mark
- KOQUERY DU BUISSON – Got back in the game here 2 weeks ago, running 2nd in a 2100m Class D. Set his personal best time that day but still represents no more than a minor place chance
- KASSIDY KID – Capable on a good day but has no particular liking for Vincennes and will need to show marked improvement on latest effort
- KNOK – 4th over course and distance before coming 3rd, a place behind KOQUERY DU BUISSON (7), in a 2100m Class D here a fortnight ago. Is not a priority, but always gives his best and should not be written off
- KOOL GEORGES – Imposed at Nantes before running 4th, a place behind KANCALAIS (6), in a 2850m Gr.3 here 2.5 weeks ago. Eric Raffin in the bike this time and will justifiably garner support. Chance
- KID PARKER – Has not been seen out since failing to complete the hat-trick here on 19 September. Is shod this time though and unlikely to upset the status quo
- KIFF L’OSEILLE – Dynamic when barefoot and focused, most recently winning a Class D under these conditions on 14 November. Faces a better bunch this time but has buckets of ability and a decent chance of securing the hat-trick
- KENTUCKY FIRST – Quality trotter but significantly better in the other code and runs here for reasons of conditioning
- KONG D’HOLLOW – Dominated a Class C over course and distance on 19 September. Has been held back for this and Alain Laurent will be keen to take advantage of the excellent engagement
- KER POULGWEN – Endured a tough trip behind KAZAN BEACH (4) in a Class C here late last month. Appears to be in decent condition though and with more luck in running, can get a look in
- KENTUCKY WOOD – Steps up in category after running 3rd in a Marseille-Vivaux Class D late last month. Enjoys a terrific entry but has placed just once in 8 starts over the main track and even though reconfigured is still nothing but an outsider
Summary: Unbeaten in both objectives here this winter, KIFF L’OSEILLE (12) is 4 for 4 over course and distance and, despite the hike in category, still looks the one to beat. Theo Duvaldestin will still want to be wary of KOOL GEORGES (10) who left a good impression in superior company late last month, and KAZAN BEACH (4) who takes a marginal dip in category. KONG D’HOLLOW (14) benefits from a terrific entry, will have been specifically prepared for this, and is not incapable of picking up where he left off.

C4 – PRIX DE LUYNES – 2175m (a1m1/4) – Class C – Harness – EUR € 46,000 - LE MAESTRO – Was going well when eliminated in a Class D over course and distance a week ago. Is plainly in shape but races shod and is not a concern
- LAUTREC QUICK – Has returned for a 2nd stint at the Derieux yard. Makes just 2nd start back and even though first-time barefoot, is not easy to recommend
- LOVER JULMA – Showed his form when holding on to win a 2100m Class D here on 14 November. In better company this time but Eric Raffin has stayed faithful and will afford his charge every chance
- LOVE AND SUN – Returns to the track for just 2nd time this year. Is preparing for a monte campaign and can be ruled out
- LORIGRE – Showed the limit of his capacity when 9th of 11 behind LEWIS RIVER (15) in a 2100m Class B here on 27 November, and can be passed over
- LOUISON – Makes first appearance since running 4th in an Enghien Class C in early-July. Shoes fitted for re-entry though and best to keep one’s powder dry
- LEGACY JIEL – Well beaten by LAHIRE DE NAPPES (10) in a Gr.3 here 2.5 weeks ago before running 3rd, a place behind LEADER D’AIMTE (11), in a 2700m Class C, also here, earlier in the month. Has ground to make up though and is no priority
- LE CASHMAKER – Will be shod to preference after failing to deliver behind LOUSTIC DE SALOMAX (14) here a month ago, but still seems to be taking on too much
- LOTUS GRIFF – Never far from losing his action but left a good impression when 3rd behind LE CASHMAKER (8) in a 2100m Class C here in late-October. Has freshness on his side and with application is unlikely to be far off the mark
- LAHIRE DE NAPPES – Serious colt that made short work of a 2850m Gr.3 here 2.5 weeks ago. Sports a fresh formula but is still thoroughly capable of finishing close
- LEADER D’AIMTE – Has not missed a beat since returning from a lengthy absence, most recently 2nd in a 2700m Class C here earlier in the month. Is unlikely to create an upset but is good enough to make first 5
- LAGNU MAG – Encouraging, but surprise, 3rd behind LEWIS RIVER (15) in a 2100m Class B here on 27 November. JMB in the bike this time but is unlikely to spice things up
- LOUIS VITTON MIJO – High-calibre colt starting for first time since September. Is Gr.3-placed over course and distance, is barefoot for comeback, and must be regarded a leading contender
- LOUSTIC DE SALOMAX – Winner of both starts here this winter, most recently with ease. Has raced and placed over 2175m here and will be well-backed to win this
- LEWIS RIVER – Beaten only by the good Leonardo Vici here late last month. Shoes off this time and, given his speed, can challenge for a place on the podium
- LOBBING DE BLARY – Good, consistent sort that finished 4th behind LEWIS RIVER (15) in a Class B here on 27 November. Is clearly in decent shape but is not about to set off any fireworks
Summary: Winner over 2700m here before routing the opposition over 2850m a month ago, LOUSTIC DE SALOMAX (14) is easy to fancy for the 3-timer. She will most likely come under pressure though from the returning, but barefoot, LOUIS VITTON MIJO (13) who has form under these conditions, and LEWIS RIVER (15) who was most impressive over 2700m here 3 weeks ago, and who will also race barefoot. LAHIRE DE NAPPES (10) takes a dip in class after dominating a Gr.3 here in late-November and, despite the day’s configuration, can figure prominently.

C5 – PRIX DE PLESSE – 2100m (a1m1/4) – Class D – Harness – EUR € 56,000 - I STILL LOVING YOU – Eliminated when going well here prior to finishing 7th of 17 at Saint-Brieuc 2 weeks ago. Is not a priority but races unshod-behind and will generate some interest
- IQUITO PLANCHETTE – Produced a 34-1 surprise when 2nd of 17 in a 2800m Vire Class E 12 days ago. Is unlikely to repeat but can still pick up some prizemoney
- ISSIA DE CHARLY – Capable on a good day and has form in this category. Is barefoot following a much-needed conditioner but represents a minor place prospect at best
- INITIALE HERAULT – Unplaced in 2 starts after returning from a 6.5 months break. Yoann Lebourgeois reining this time but still not a concern
- IMAGE CHARENTAISE – Did everything right on re-entry when 3rd of 14 in a 2850m Class D here a fortnight ago. Is just 20 Euros from elimination and with form maintained could yet get her nose in front
- INFIEL – Should not be too hastily-judged for latest run at Mauquenchy a month ago. Was patently in form that day and, if still on the boil, can finish in the mix
- IMAGE D’ATALANTE – Blows hot and cold and most recently finished last but one in a Class D under these conditions last week. Is better-drawn this time and, with her mind on the game, can finish close
- ITRO – Won a claimer over the inner course before failing to confirm in a Cabourg Class D last week. Starts wide and is not about to spring any surprises
- IRMYLA DE SOMMAIRE – Prepared for this in a Mauquenchy Class E late last month. Is confirmed over course and distance but others still preferred
- IDEAL DU DIGEON – By no means disgraced when 5th in a Class E at Le Croise-Laroche last Monday. Franck Nivard reining this time but the draw will do him no favours
- IZIJAL – Handy sort that has won 2 of last 3. Is hard to fault in the day’s configuration and, winner on first start for new trainer, must not be underestimated
- IRINA DE MONTCEAU – Undeniably capable but has done nothing noteworthy here for some time and would be preferred at a lower level
- INDICE DU CAIEU – Has previously imposed under these conditions but has yet to convince this term and can be disregarded
- IRIS INTENSE – Going well when eliminated in a 2850m Class D here a week ago. Is clearly capable and in spite of a rough draw, can nevertheless redeem himself if focused
- INVICTUS DU DOLLAR – Got back in the game when 3rd in a 2850m Class D here a week ago. Has already won under these conditions and on good behaviour can repeat
Summary: Despite missing the break here last week, INVICTUS DU DOLLAR (15) gave an excellent account in good company and could well impose if Lana Henry successfully negotiates the draw. IMAGE CHARENTAISE (5) did not miss out by much here earlier in the month, is ideally-positioned behind the car, and Benjamin Rochard will endeavour to make hay. Starting somewhat wider, IMAGE D’ATALANTE (7) is competitively-shod this time and will have her chances if she reproduces her penultimate performance. Although eliminated in his last 3 starts, IRIS INTENSE (14) has twice imposed under these conditions and with application can go far.

C6 – PRIX DE JABLINES – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class C – Harness – EUR € 46,000 - MALIKA DU SURF – No slouch but was never threatening when eliminated in a Class D over the inner course 3.5 weeks ago. Would have better chances on a more even surface but should not be entirely overlooked
- MELINA SUPREME – Unexceptional filly starting for the first time for 3 months and will not be troubling the judge
- MY DARLING DU RIS – Quality element making first appearance since imposing across town in late-June and will not be given a hard race
- MONEY MONEY PIYA – 8th of 12 behind MAMOUNIA SEVEN (6) in a 2100m Class D on comeback here 12 days ago. Has yet to shine over the main track but has merit and will have her supporters
- MUSE DE MONTCEAU – Looked decidedly ordinary when last of 12 behind MAMOUNIA SEVEN (6) in a 2100m Class D here 12 days ago and is not about to influence the result
- MAMOUNIA SEVEN – Opened her Vincennes account in style over 2200m on 4 November before running 4th in a Class D 12 days ago. JMB in the bike this time and is in with a realistic shout of bringing home the bacon
- MISS UNIVERS – In the frame in all 3 starts at the venue, most recently 2nd of 13 in a 2200m Class D early this month. David Thomain reining this time and should figure prominently at the business end of the race
- MODE DU VALLON – Back under harness after trying her hand in the other discipline a month ago. Is one of the weaker links here and will have few friends
- MOONLIGHT STAR – Hardy element that failed to confirm Enghien victory when 7th behind MARIE DI LEONE (13) in a 2700m Class D in mid-November. Is unlikely to win this but still has the capability to pick up a cheque
- MAJA D’OLMEN – Has not been as sharp as she was when victorious at Feurs in September and is going to have to raise her game
- MY SAVE QUICK – Last of 12 on re-entry in a Class B over track and trip 2.5 weeks ago. Showed significant promise last winter and must be regarded a serious contender
- MISSLADY DU VICLAU – Given an easy race on re-entry, coming last but one in a Class B over track and trip 2.5 weeks ago. Entrusted to Eric Raffin for first time and, considering the engagement, can make a big impact
- MARIE DI LEONE – Runner-up to a serious filly over 2850m of the inner course on 25 November. Is just 470 Euros from elimination and should be competitive for a place in the frame
Summary: Reunited with Jean-Michel Bazire who won with her over the inner course here earlier in the month, MAMOUNIA SEVEN (6) will have no issue with the trip and should be good enough to win this. Opposition will take the form of a well-engaged trio. MY SAVE QUICK (11) has already won over the main track and has a race under belt. MISSLADY DU VICLAU (12) finished a place ahead of her that day on her own comeback. MARIE DI LEONE (13) steps up in category after running 2nd to a fine filly here late last month.

C7 – PRIX DE COLLIOURE – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class D – Mounted – EUR € 40,000 - MARECHAL TURGOT – Qualified under the saddle in 1’17″2 at Caen in late-October. In good company for career debut and best to hold off
- MARANELLO – Last of 5 behind MARIO DE LA VALLEE (9) in a 2175m Class D here a fortnight ago, and will need to find significantly more
- MAGENO DE HOUELLE – Eye-catching in a Class E under these conditions late last month despite having been eliminated. Has earned the right to race in this category and, with application, can play an important part
- MILORD DAIRPET – 3rd, a place behind MARIO DE LA VALLEE (9), in a 2175m Class D here a fortnight ago, his first start over the main track, and has a reasonable chance of making the frame once again
- MOJITO DES ECUS – Has started to come good on his promise over recent weeks. Ran 2nd in a class E over 2700m here 3 weeks ago, takes on a better bunch this time, but is gradually learning his trade and should not be overlooked
- MAGYC BERRY – Has just the one race under his belt since the break. Has undeniable aptitude for the discipline but has never delivered over the main track and is unlikely to make waves
- MAMBO DE LA VALLEE – Not the easiest of horses to handle, latterly eliminated in 5 December race of reference. Has bags of untapped potential though and will not be far off the mark if he deigns to keep trotting
- MONACO – Has demonstrated decent aptitude for the discipline, most recently 4th of 11 in a Class C over course and distance 3 weeks ago. Eric Raffin maintains faith and is unlikely to go home empty-handed
- MARIO DE LA VALLEE – Progressive colt with a bright future ahead of him. Has not once finished out of the first 2 and considering how well he has taken to the main track, can expect to receive the lion’s share of support
Summary: Nicely-engaged close to the limit of earnings, MARIO DE LA VALLEE (9) has not once disappointed in 4 career starts, won over 2700m here last month and, given how well he ran over 2175m 2 weeks ago, is easy to like for the win. MILORD DAIRPET (4) finished a place behind him that day and can again figure prominently, but may first have to defer to MAMBO DE LA VALLEE (7) who is no pushover when focused, and MAGENO DE HOUELLE (3) who showed last time, despite faulting, that he has the capacity to win a race of this nature.

C8 – PRIX D’AMBOISE – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class D – Harness – EUR € 59,000 - DINO CREAM – Respectable Scandinavian taking first Vincennes steps. Has been far from convincing recently at home in Sweden, and in this company cannot be regarded a priority
- DENIA – Impressive more than once here last season but has since lost her way and is unlikely to shake things up
- DADA DEL RONCO – Put in a good effort against the males here in late-October, before stumbling in the race of reference. Should not be condemned for that performance and will have her supporters
- JOLYDOLE – Quality element that beat the boys at Enghien on 8 October before taking on too much in a Gr.3 at Châtelaillon-La Rochelle a month later. Comes here fresh and most certainly has the wherewithal to finish close
- JUNKIE (SWE) – One of many to be denied a run in the 4 December race of reference. Form is not in question however and Alexandre Abrivard will be keen to prove the point
- DIVA DEL RONCO – Opened her winter account when easily securing a 2100m Class C here on 3 December. Has been reconfigured for the occasion though and others easier to back
- JAFLOSA GIRL – Steps up in category after comfortably winning over course and distance on 24 November. Has already won twice for Eric Raffin and although unlikely to make it a 3rd should nevertheless hold her own
- DIABEL – Has won 3 of last 4, latterly a 2850m Class D here on 4 December. Has won over various distances on the main track, including 2700m, and has a realistic chance of confirming
- ILLUSION D’AMOUR – Disappointing on the whole since the spring. Lost her action here earlier in the month and can expect to have few friends
- JOLIE STAR – Blows hot and cold but showed her form in a 2850m Class D here a fortnight ago. Was blocked in on that occasion but Julien Dubois will be determined to set the record straight
- IRINA DE BAILLY – Ran 3rd at Rambouillet before being trounced by JOY DU CARNOIS (12) here early last month, and can be confidently passed over
- JOY DU CARNOIS – Had been on a fantastic streak of form since May until the gate was shut on her in the race of reference. JMB back in the bike though and looks a serious proposition
- ISERIA GRIFF – Failed to confirm Rambouillet victory when unplaced in a Machecoul Class E early last month, and chances appear slim
- JOURNEE REVEE – Not as sharp as she was here last winter but ran a valiant 4th in 4 December race of reference and, considering the entry, must be taken seriously
- GRAZIELA D’EL – Returned to the winners’ circle in a 2100m Class D here 2 weeks ago, on first association with David Thomain. Is unlikely to repeat but in current form cannot be ruled out
- FERGIE HIGHLAND – Moderate mare making first appearance since July. Is barefoot for comeback but still not a concern
Summary: JOLIE STAR (10) may not be a model of consistency but she has often made her mark here, including against the males, and was most unlucky last time out. If kept out of trouble though, she can win this. JOY DU CARNOIS (12) was similarly denied a run on that occasion, but is expected to make amends, however she may first have to see off the talented DIABEL (8) who clinched victory that day. Usually as reliable as they come, JOLYDOLE (4) bit off more than she could chew at Chatelaillon but, barefoot at this level, will be no pushover. JUNKIE (SWE) (5) also came a cropper in the race of reference, but is clearly in form and must be considered a player.

- OCEAN STAR – Ran 5th in a Handicap over 1800m at this course on 6 December. Well held by ARLONG FAL (1) on that last run

Summary: This race is dominated by ARLONG FAL (1), a three-time winner who was victorious on this track last time out and looks quite decent, and MADAME LY (2), a five-time winner who placed second in a Listed race in her penultimate start. MARIA APOLLONIA (4), won in only her second start last time and could have a lot more to come. STUDEN KLADENETS (5) could show a lot more after two decent enough runs and could place.

- VENTS CONTRAIRES – Ran 9th in a Handicap over 1600m at this course on on 9 December. Has some decent form at this level and could trouble the more fancied runners

- ZOUBAREVA – A well-beaten 14th in a Handicap over 1900m at Deauville on 3 December. Recent form is poor and looks unlikely to feature.
Summary: On paper WORLD VISION (5) looks to have the edge as she comes off two promising races in Claiming events. The main threat is likely to come from ALREHB (2) who last time out finished just one length behind the first choice. They meet at the same weights so a little luck could see her reverse that form. ZACAPO (1), rarely runs a bad race at this level while SKIMBLESHANKS (9) comes in with a light weight and could prove a danger.

Summary: Quite a competitive race but BASCO BEARNAIS (3) announced his presence in France with a promising third place in decent company and should be even better this time. As a result, he looks the one to beat. The drop to a Claimer should work well for GAULOIS GLORIEUX (9) and he has to be a lively contender. The same applies to WHATAHERO (5) who has not been wosre than 3rd in a Claimer. KING OF CHILL (4) contests his first Claimer and could surprise.

HUTTON (8) is not reliable but is fit and quite capable of contesting the finish again. ALSIMRYA (11) was not disgraced at Deauville and could be a lively threat. OASIS BAY (4) seems better than the recent runs suggest and is capable of getting into the mix in this division.
