R1 VINCENNES [L-H]

C1 – PRIX DE SAINT-FLOUR – 2850m (a2m) – Class F Amateur Drivers – Harness – EUR € 15,000

  1. IBRA DE LOU – Has shown a liking for the amateur division. Will race barefoot as he did when successful at Mauquenchy on Christmas Eve, starts in front, and must be taken seriously
  2. ILLICO DES BROUETS – Failed to confirm Mauquenchy performance when soundly beaten in an amateurs Class G here a month ago, and can be confidently passed over
  3. HILKA DE BERTRANGE – Tricky character that has placed just once in 7 Vincennes starts and even from the front row is not about to spice things up
  4. JICKY GIRL – Unremarkable mare returning the amateur category after a string of mediocre runs and is unlikely to upset the status quo
  5. HE STAR DU CALICE – Excellent servant at this level of competition and has not put a foot out of line since September. Enjoys a front-line break here and is unlikely to be too far off the mark
  6. ICE SCOTT – Placed in 2 before finishing last but one in a Cagnes Class E on 23 December and is unlikely to make his presence felt
  7. HAHICHA GIRL – Sprang something of a surprise when 2nd in a similar event over 2100m here a fortnight ago. Seldom disappoints at this level and even though padded, can still figure prominently
  8. HYPERION DU BOCAGE – Tricky character that has placed in 2 of last 3, most recently 3rd, a place behind HAHICHA GIRL (7), over 2100m here late last month, and with application can pick up another cheque
  9. IDEAL DU DIGEON – Makes just 2nd appearance in the amateur category after having failed to produce the goods in better company here 3 weeks ago. Pleased here last September but is taking on too much this time
  10. GALON D’AMIRAL – Unexceptional trotter that has done nothing of note since last summer and has no possible chance
  11. HORSERIS – Honest individual that ran 4th to HIPPARIS (14) at Le Croise-Laroche early last month. Has never delivered in the amateur division though and others easier to back
  12. HABIBI – Useful sort when he has his mind on the game. Has 2 runs in him since the layoff, went close last time at this level, and with Quentin Verneuil in the bike will be afforded every chance
  13. JACQUARD – Fine campaigner with excellent references in both disciplines. Faces first objective of the winter and even from the back line can wrap this up
  14. HIPPARIS – Has gone from strength to strength over recent weeks, latterly dead-heating at Le Croise-Laroche. Imposed under these conditions last winter and can challenge for the win once again
Summary: Very hard to fault when barefoot and focused, JACQUARD (13) thrives over 2700m here, benefits from an excellent entry, and has a realistic chance of making his amateur debut a victorious one. Even better-engaged, and improving with every run lately, HIPPARIS (14) has been reconfigured and will be no soft touch. HABIBI (12) will be fit following a pair of conditioners and should take no time getting back in the game. Useful in this category, HABIBI (12) sports 4 pads for the first time and a repeat of her latest run would see her finish in the mix once more.
    SELECTIONS
    JACQUARD (13) – HIPPARIS (14) – HABIBI (12) – HAHICHA GIRL (7)
    C2 – PRIX DE TIGNES – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class B – Harness – EUR € 43,000
  15. NIKITA GOLD – 3rd to NINA DE MAI (7) in a 2175m Class D here on 26 November prior to running decent 4th over the inner course a month back, but still has more to find
  16. NOCE ROYALE – Eliminated when being aimed too high in a 2175m Gr.2 here last Sunday, and is not about to shake things up
  17. NIKITA – Left a good impression on first start after the spell, coming 2nd to NINA DE MAI (7) in a 2175m Class D here on 26 November. Will be fresh but is biting off more than she can chew this time
  18. NINA DE LA DUNE – Imposed at Nantes last month first time out. Confirmed with ease at Cabourg 8 days ago and the hat-trick is not out of the question
  19. NOUS QUATRE – Unlucky 4th in a 2100m Class C here on 19 December. Sports 4 pads this time and Yoann Lebourgeois can be justifiably bullish about setting the record straight
  20. NEW HOLIDAY – Useful filly that did not enjoy the best trip in a similar event here a week ago, but is plainly better than the result would suggest and is worth keeping an eye on
  21. NINA DE MAI – Made Vincennes debut a victorious one when dominating a 2175m Class D 2 weeks ago. Is plainly a filly for the future and even though in better company this time, can nevertheless finish in the mix
  22. NOIRE INTENSE – Created something of an upset when 3rd of 13 in Gr.2 Prix Une de Mai over course and distance on 14 December and, in similar shape, can make this her own
  23. NONEKA – Winner of all 3 to date and has improved for every run. Faces a tough test on Vincennes debut but sports front pads and is unlikely to let the side down
Summary: NOIRE INTENSE (8) made up for her early-December elimination when comfortably running 3rd in the Gr.2 Prix Une de Mai just 9 days later. While very easy to make a case for her, she will still be opposed by the padded NOUS QUATRE (5) who would most likely have remained unbeaten had she been afforded a run here 3 weeks ago. Romain Congard maintains his relationship with JMB’s NINA DE MAI (7) who made short work of a Class D here in late-November. NINA DE LA DUNE (4) is also undefeated and will have a lot to contribute if she takes to the new profile.
    SELECTIONS
NOIRE INTENSE (8) – NOUS QUATRE (5) – NINA DE MAI (7) – NINA DE LA DUNE (4)
    C3 – PRIX D’EVIAN – 2175m (a1m1/4) – Class B – Harness – EUR € 52,000
  24. MELINA SUPREME – Respectable filly that was given an easy comeback 3 weeks ago. Is still being conditioned and best to keep one’s powder dry
  25. MODE DU VALLON – Unremarkable sort returning to the harness code after faulting under the saddle here on Boxing Day. Sports modified shoeing but still not a concern
  26. MAYA D’AVRIL – Has done nothing but improve this winter, latterly winning a 2700m Class D here 2.5 weeks ago. Takes on a better lot this time but should nevertheless hold her own
  27. MIDNIGHT MOLLY – Showed early promise but disappointing for the most part since. Has just the one race under her belt since the layoff and even with front pads fitted is unlikely to influence the outcome
  28. MA AM CHENU – Won superbly over the inner course prior to enduring a tough trip behind MERIDA DU GRANIT (11) here on 30 December. Is reunited with Mathieu Mottier who thrives with her and has a decent chance of contesting the finish
  29. MOLLY MADRIK – Surprise 2nd in a 2100m Class D here on Boxing Day. Alexandre Abrivard stays faithful and with form maintained, can compete for a step on the podium
  30. MAVANA DU DIGEON – Honest filly that ran 4th, a place behind MERIDA DU GRANIT (11), in a 2700m Class C here on 30 December. Competitively-shod this time but may just have too much ground to make up
  31. MADNESS SAM – Filly of considerable talent but has yet to take to Vincennes conditions. Races first-time barefoot but still represents a minor place chance at best
  32. MARIE DI LEONE – Has been knocking at the door of late, most recently 2nd in a 2700m Class C here 3 weeks ago. Hind shoes off on this occasion and should be monitored closely
  33. MAMJACK SACHA – Complicated individual but has considerable talent. Shows a different face this time around and will be expected to get back in the game
  34. MERIDA DU GRANIT – Serious filly with a good entry here. Consistently gives her best, has form under these conditions, and with front shoes off can impose
Summary: Winner over course and distance in early-November, MERIDA DU GRANIT (11) has since been acquitting herself well in better company and, competitively-shod for the first time, looks the winner-in-waiting. Eric Raffin will still be mindful of MA AM CHENU (5) who has yet to disappoint for Mathieu Mottier, and a newly-reconfigured MAMJACK SACHA (10) who, with Benjamin Rochard reining, can start to come good again. MOLLY MADRIK (6) defied her odds here a fortnight ago, will be barefoot this time, and a similar effort would see her go close once more.
    SELECTIONS
    MERIDA DU GRANIT (11) – MA AM CHENU (5) – MAMJACK SACHA (10) – MOLLY MADRIK (6)
    C4 – PRIX DU FOREZ – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Gr3 – Harness – EUR € 90,000
  35. HURRICANE CARTER – Returned to the winners’ circle after securing a Class B over track and trip 3 weeks ago. Has never been seen at this level but in present shape is difficult to ignore
  36. ISOFOU DU CHENE – Blew up here in late-November but set the record straight a month ago when clinching a 2850m Class B. In better company this time but cannot be ruled out
  37. HERO SIBEY – Got straight back in the game on re-entry here 3 weeks ago, running close 2nd to HURRICANE CARTER (1) in a Class B over track and trip. Is unlikely to repeat but will not be sent out at 35-1 this time. First 5
  38. GOAL STAR – Capable on a good day and has references under these conditions, but has been struggling of late and must first get his house in order
  39. HE AND ME – Serious sort but has just the one race in him following a lengthy hiatus. Stays shod and best to hold off
  40. JINGLE DU PONT – Has been in cracking form over recent weeks, most recently 2nd in a 2100m Class A here last weekend. Has previously beaten HUBBLE DU VIVIER (12) and can again give him something to think about. Chance
  41. HAPPY DANICA – Ran 3rd in a Cagnes Class A in early-December but failed to confirm when 11th of 13 behind JINGLE DU PONT (6) in a 2100m Class A here last weekend. Has references in superior company though and should not be discounted
  42. IDEAL DU ROCHER – Returns to the harness code after pleasing on monte debut here on 20 November. Has proved himself in similar company and, fresh for the occasion, can play a prominent part
  43. JAZZMAN DEBAILLEUL – Quality individual but has been off the boil recently. Shoes fitted and offers no hope
  44. HYMNE DU GERS – Hardy trotter with form at this level but is still being conditioned and best to hold off
  45. IGREC DE CELLAND – Produced 2 fine performances prior to flopping behind HIDALGO DES NOES (13) in a Bordeaux Class A a fortnight ago. Gave a fine account last time here but others easier to back on this occasion
  46. HUBBLE DU VIVIER – Just beaten by JINGLE DU PONT (6) in GNT Final before running away with a 2850m Gr.3 here on 14 December. Appears to be back at the top of his game and is expected to turn the tables on his stablemate
  47. HIDALGO DES NOES – Not the most reliable horse here but ran encouraging 4th of 14 in a Bordeaux Class A on Boxing Day. Is not about to spring a surprise but will have his supporters
  48. HULYSSE DIGEO – Failed to deliver in GNT Final but made up for that somewhat when 4th to HUBBLE DU VIVIER (12) in a 2850m Gr.3 here on 14 December. Shoes on again but must still be taken seriously
Summary: Simply superb in Paris this winter, HUBBLE DU VIVIER (12) most recently ran out a commanding winner of the Gr.3 Prix Jean Dumouch in mid-December and even in the absence of JMB looks the one to beat. Particularly able replacement, Alexandre Abrivard will nevertheless be legitimately concerned by stablemate and Gr.2 GNT Final champion, JINGLE DU PONT (6), who beat his charge that day. Back under harness after giving a good account on his ridden debut, IDEAL DU ROCHER (8) presents fine course-and-distance credentials and can challenge for a place on the podium. Well-entered here, HULYSSE DIGEO (14) ran 4th to HUBBLE DU VIVIER (12) last time out and even with shoes on again looks competitive for a cheque. HURRICANE CARTER (1) is plainly back on the right trajectory and despite the hike in category must not be underestimated.
    SELECTIONS
HUBBLE DU VIVIER (12) – JINGLE DU PONT (6) – IDEAL DU ROCHER (8) – HULYSSE DIGEO (14)
    C5 – PRIX DE QUESTEMBERT – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class D – Harness – EUR € 46,000
  49. KIBORA BUISSONAY – Stormed up in a Class F at Le Croise-Laroche in mid-December before pleasing, although eliminated, in a 2850m Class E on 28 December. Less competitively-shod this time though and chances appear limited
  50. KARA DE PIERREPONT – Has just the one race under her belt since the autumn break. Reverts to a previous formula but still has no possible chance
  51. KOTKITA – Never far from faulting but has bags of ability. 3rd of 15 in a 2850m Class E here on 28 December and with Eric Raffin reining, it will not be long before she returns to successful ways
  52. KELOWA STARDUST – Moderate mare that has not been seen out since early-October and with shoes fitted will have nothing to offer
  53. KISS ME DU RUEL – Unplaced behind KOTKITA (3) here late last month, on first start since early-August. Will have come on for the run but still looks an outsider
  54. KABALA QUICK – Useful mare with better aptitude for the other code. Is here for reasons of conditioning and unlikely to spring any surprises
  55. KAPELLA DAIRPET – Made amends for Laval elimination when easily winning a Class E over track and trip in late-November. Has freshness on her side and even with her trainer reining looks a serious proposition
  56. KYRA D’ESSARTS – Is no champion but has form over the main track. Unplaced in last 2 but ran honourable 6th behind KELOWNA LEGEND (12) here in late-November and has the wherewithal to finish in the mix
  57. KYA D’ERABLE – Starts for the first time since coming 2nd in a Class E over course and distance on 22 November. Has yet to win at Vincennes, and is not about to this time either, but still has the ability to challenge for a place in the picture
  58. KABALVA – Has shown marked improvement over recent months, latterly 4th in a Class E under these conditions on 4 December. Entrusted to David Thomain for the first time and will not be available at 42-1 this time
  59. KOH LANTA – Unable to confirm Laval victory when 7th of 14 behind KELOWNA LEGEND (12) in a 2100m Class D here a fortnight ago. Is patently better than that though and is eminently capable of imposing this time
  60. KELOWNA LEGEND – Dependability not her strong suit but benefits from a terrific entry this time. Theo Briand receives the nod and will be eager to make hay. First 5
Summary: Although very much at home over the main track, KOH LANTA (11) surprisingly blew up here in late-November but is clearly better than most of this field, is barefoot this time, and Benjamin Rochard will be out to put things right. He will still be keeping a watchful eye on KAPELLA DAIRPET (7) who steps up in category after convincingly-imposing here on 30 November, and KOTKITA (3) who has been knocking at the door. KYA D’ERABLE (9) makes her first appearance since running 2nd over 2700m here in November and Alexandre Abrivard will be back in the bike.

    C6 – PRIX DE RANES – PX SENIORS DES COURSES – 2850m (a2m) – Class E – Harness – EUR € 52,000
  61. IRINA DE MONTCEAU – Unexceptional mare with no place in this field and can be confidently disregarded
  62. KOMERE DE CORDAY – Has done everything asked of her since the autumn, latterly 3rd to KEY OF LOVE (6) in a 2700m Class C on New Year’s Eve. 3 months ago won her only start under these conditions and must not be underestimated
  63. NIAGARA RIVER – No slouch in this category, and has references over course and distance, but against older horses will struggle to make her mark
  64. DENIA – Produced something of a surprise when 4th behind DADA DEL RONCO (14) in a 2700m Class D here 3 weeks ago, however a repeat seems most improbable
  65. KIVALA RENARDIER – Respectable 7th behind KEY LADY (16) in a Class B here on 25 December. Had shown her form earlier in the month though, has previously won over the distance, and looks a solid place prospect
  66. KEY OF LOVE – Made it 2 in a row when dominating a 2700m Class C here 10 days ago. Won over 2850m here last winter and Anthony Barrier can be justifiably confident of a big run
  67. ISLA (GER) – Fine German mare that 2 weeks ago made her Vincennes debut a winning one, securing a 2100m Class D here. Has never raced beyond 2520m but is unlikely to be found wanting. Attention
  68. DILVA JET – Quality Italian element making first appearance since September. Is new to the venue and should have no issue with the trip, but may just be a race shy
  69. XERAVA C.D. – Useful Swedish raider taking first steps south of Scandinavia. Is barefoot for the occasion, with Alexandre Abrivard in the bike, but will have other priorities
  70. DIVINA TRIO – Handy mare that proved herself at a similar level during the autumn but faces a very tall order this time around
  71. JOUVENCE DE CAREL – Back under harness after running 5th of 10 in a 2700m monte Class C here 3 weeks ago. Has placed in 1 of 2 under these conditions but others still easier to back
  72. KALITA D’HENINEL – Drops back to a more realistic category after running 7th of 13 in a Gr.3 over course and distance in late-November. Takes on a host of good older mares this time and is unlikely to create an upset
  73. JALOUZ D’OLIVERIE – Won 2 in a row here, including over 2850m, before prepping shod last Sunday. Takes on a better lot this time but in current condition looks a serious proposition
  74. DADA DEL RONCO – Sprang a 28-1 surprise when 2nd in a 2700m Class D 3 weeks ago. Is unlikely to repeat but Franck Nivard keeps the drive and will afford her every chance
  75. JUNKIE (SWE) – Seems to be back on the right road, judging by her latest run behind DADA DEL RONCO (14) on 19 December. Is a tough nut when on the boil and, considering the entry, is unlikely to disappoint
  76. KEY LADY – Has been acquitting herself well in superior company of late, most recently running 3rd in a Class B here on Christmas Day. Is clearly close to her best and has every chance of imposing
Summary: Clearly in fine shape following the break, and dropping down the category-ladder for the occasion, KEY LADY (16) benefits from a super entry here and has every chance of opening her winter account. Mathieu Mottier will still be keeping a keen eye on a resurgent JALOUZ D’OLIVERIE (13) who will be barefoot this time, and KIVALA RENARDIER (5) who returns to a more suitable level. KEY OF LOVE (6) has won 3 of her last 4 starts in this configuration and the hat-trick is still attainable.

    C7 – PRIX DE CROIX – 2850m (a2m) – Gr2 – Harness – EUR € 120,000
  77. FUNNY GIRL (ITY) – Moderate mare starting for the first time since October. Is barefoot for re-entry but still looks outclassed
  78. FAR WEST BI – Serious Italian type crossing the Alps for just the 2nd time. Races barefoot but has not been seen out since October and may be a race shy
  79. LEARN TO FLY – Honest trotter that ran valiant 6th in 21 December race of reference. Has no chance of winning this but with form maintained can make first 5, and will not be sent out at 182-1
  80. PHANTOM EXPRESS – Good 3rd in Gr.2 Prix Octave Douesnel on Vincennes debut before disappointing somewhat in Criterium Continental. Will be competitively configured for the first time and will be expected to show marked improvement
  81. LUCIANO MENUET – Group-class element that lost his way in 2025. Makes first appearance since June and is going to need the run
  82. FAR WISE AS – Produced quite the surprise when 5th in Gr.1 Criterium Continental over 2100m here on 21 December. Has no references beyond 2140m but should not disappoint if Robin Bakker keeps him out of harm’s way
  83. LIZA JOSSELYN – High-class mare that ran out a commanding winner of Gr.1 Criterium Continental on 21 December. Is still a force in the day’s configuration and should logically take all the beating
  84. LOMBOK JIEL – One of the leader’s of his generation and has previously beaten LOVINO BELLO (10). Is presently enjoying a rich vein of form and while unlikely to beat LIZA JOSSELYN (7), can nevertheless contest a place in the frame
  85. BULLET THE BLUESKY – Well-regarded Swedish sort that was eliminated early in Criterium Continental, his first start south of the nordics. Has never raced beyond 2640m but has bags of class and with application could pleasantly surprise
  86. LOVINO BELLO – Denied a run when competitive in the Criterium Continental. Has form at the highest level, is clearly in shape, and looks main danger to LIZA JOSSELYN (7)
Summary: Highlight of the afternoon, the field may be small but the depth of quality is plain to see. Brilliant winner of the Criterium Continental 3 weeks ago, LIZA JOSSELYN (7) will be less competitively-shod this time, but still looks the pick of the field. She will nevertheless be up against excellent Gr.2 Prix Octave Douesnel winner, LOVINO BELLO (10), who was most unlucky in the Criterium, and a reconfigured LOMBOK JIEL (8) who ran 4th that day. 5th at 108-1, FAR WISE AS (6) will generate significantly more interest this time around.

    C8 – PRIX BELLINO II – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Gr3 – Harness – EUR € 80,000
  87. MUZAN KIBUTSUJI – 5th behind MAKE A DREAM (13) in 2700m Gr.3 Prix de Château Chinon here on 25 December, and with a better trip can finish closer
  88. GRAN TORINO (ITY) – Moderate Italian colt making first appearance since finishing last in Gr.3 Prix de Château-Thierry in early-November. Sports a new formula but still not a player
  89. GILL DORIAL – Quality transalpine raider that ran 2nd to GINGER GIO (12) in 2100m Gr.3 Prix de Mansle here on 13 December. Front shoes off this time and must be considered a serious player
  90. MAD OF YOU – Eliminated on return from a spell in a Class A under these conditions 10 days ago. Competitively-shod this time but still not a concern
  91. GOLIMPIO D’OR – Unplaced in 2 after running 5th in Gr.1 Derby Italiano last October. Disappointing in Prix de Mansle but goes barefoot for the first time and cannot be discounted
  92. MUST ATOUT – Lost his action on 13 December then finished last but one in Prix de Château Chinon on Christmas Day and is not about to create an upset
  93. MARQUETY DE BAILLY – Made up somewhat for flopping in 13 December race of reference when 4th in a Class A over course and distance 10 days ago. Will however need to find more
  94. MARDOUK DE GODREL – Tricky character but nevertheless ran 5th in 13 December race of reference. Hind shoes off for first time but will still need to sharpen up significantly
  95. MAKE YOUR DAY – High-calibre colt with an enviable strike-rate. Has been improving with every run, and even though new to 2700m of the main track, nevertheless has a claim on the prize
  96. MAGICO DE LOU – Failed to make any impact in Prix de Château Chinon after having flopped in Prix de Mansle and is unlikely to have many friends
  97. PARANOH NEWPORT – Serious type that won the Gr.2 Dutch Derby in mid-November. Comes here fresh, with Eric Raffin in the bike, and will be no pushover if he gets the trip
  98. GINGER GIO – Quality but complicated Italian colt that made his Vincennes debut a winning one, comfortably securing 2100m Gr.3 Prix de Mansle, from a terrible draw, on 13 December. Is new to 2700m but races barefoot and his trainer likes him for it
  99. MAKE A DREAM – Gave a fine account on return from a spell when 3rd in 2700m Gr.3 Prix de Château Chinon here on 25 December. Has been reconfigured and with Mathieu Mottier in the bike will not be available at 27-1
  100. MAESTRO RIVER – As complicated as they come but has bags of talent. Goes first-time barefoot after being trounced in Gr.1 Prix Ready Cash and, with application, at this level should not disappoint
Summary: A serious colt that has gone front strength to strength since his October return, MAKE YOUR DAY (9) is unbeaten here, is proven over the distance, and with shoes off for the first time is just preferred to a similarly first-time-barefoot GINGER GIO (12) who beat a host of these in the Gr.3 Prix de Mansle last month, notably compatriot GILL DORIAL (3) who has been reconfigured for the occasion. MUZAN KIBUTSUJI (1) produced a fine performance in the Gr.3 Prix de Château Chinon on Christmas Day and, freshly re-shod, must be taken more seriously.

  101. HAVRE DE PAIX – Encouraged on the short course before being eliminated in this category last month and once again appears to be out of his depth
  102. ILLICO DE BOUTEAU – Dependable trotter with solid harness form. Has not been seen in the code since March 2021 but is clearly in excellent shape and sports modified shoeing
  103. LUCKY GUY BOKO – Back under the saddle after giving a fine account under harness at Mauquenchy. Imposed under these conditions on monte debut last winter and is in with a realistic chance of repeating
  104. ICARE DU LEARD – Has merit but looked rather ordinary here 3 weeks ago. Alexis Collette aboard this time but others still preferred
  105. HIATUS – Makes just second career start under the saddle but is clearly off the boil and can be passed over
  106. HARRY DU LYS – Quality element taking to 2175m for the first time after pleasing in a 2850m Class D here on New Year’s Day. Takes on some better horses this time but still has the wherewithal to make first 5
  107. FILIPPA B.J. – Debuts in the discipline, barefoot for the occasion, after prepping under harness in Bologna. Has 3 times failed to deliver under harness in France but with Guillaume Martin in charge should not be overlooked
  108. STACCATO HL – Produced a fine effort to come 2nd in a Class D over course and distance on 1 December. Is unlikely to get his nose in front but can still vie for a place in the frame
  109. FIRST ONE DIAMOND – Has excelled under the saddle at home in Norway. Eliminated on Vincennes debut 3.5 weeks ago but with a leading pilot in the saddle can make a big splash
  110. HAS DE COEUR – Not entirely without merit but has done little of note for some time and can be ruled out
  111. IN LOVE REGLISSE – Good, consistent type returning to the discipline after a pair of harness conditioners. Shoes off this time and should not be far off the mark if he takes to the new trip
  112. MISTER INVICTUS – Denied a path, when full of running, in a harness Class D here on 14 December. Entrusted for the first time to Alexandre Abrivard who can be justifiably confident of a big performance
  113. ILLUSION D’AMOUR – Delicate soul making first ridden start since debuting in the code here in September 2023. Benefits from an excellent engagement though, has been reconfigured, and must not be underestimated
Summary: Unseen in the discipline since testing the waters here last winter, LUCKY GUY BOKO (3) showed his form under harness last time out and, with Mathieu Mottier in the irons, can bring home the bacon. The pair will still come under pressure from the good MISTER INVICTUS (12) who was most unlucky on his first start for Jocelyn Robert, and the classy nordic FIRST ONE DIAMOND (9) who, reconfigured with Eric Raffin aboard, will be expected to make up for last month’s Vincennes debut. STACCATO HL (8) may not have won for almost 15 months but he left a good impression under these conditions last month and must be afforded respect.
