  1. SAMMY BOY (BEL) – Knocking loudly at the door and was runner-up at Wolvega over 2700m on 7 February. Might play a minor role at very best
  2. FAITH DI POGGIO – Consistent and finished 5th at Villanova d’Albenga over 1600m on 29 July. Returns from a break and tackles stronger this time
  3. SECRET OF LAW – Did not show his best when 7th in Class E over this course and distance on 10 February. Consistent before that but others make more appeal
  4. SAM PIERJI (BEL) – A winner of three of his last five starts, including last time out in Class E over this course and distance on 10 February. Can be successful again
  5. DUKE OF NEW YORK – In good shape and was runner-up in Class E over this course and distance on 10 February. Can get into the mix of things once again
  6. TAURUS CROWN – In good form and was runner-up in Class E over this course and distance on 27 January. Remains barefoot and should fight out the finish
  7. SEVEN SEAS S – Not reliable but did finish fourth at Gelsenkirchen over 2000m on 4 February. Has claims at scoring on French debut
  8. OMARI BOKO – Unreliable but did finish third in Class E over this track and trip on 27 January. Capable of making the frame
  9. LATINUS AVIS – Bounced back to form with a win in Class E at Nantes over 3000m on 13 February. Not easy to trust but could double up
  10. FRENCHCONNECTION – Disqualified in his last two starts, the latest in Class E over this track and trip on 27 January. Lost third through an equiry that day and is capable of contesting the finish
  11. LIVE YOUR DREAMS – Has struggled of late and finished 11th in Class D at this track over 2100m on 5 February. Needs to find a few lengths to win
  12. OVERDRIVE STEEL – Did not show his best when 7th in Class E over this course and distance on 27 January. Place chance on best form
  13. LUCHADOR – Much improved last run when fourth in Class D at this track over 2850m on 15 February. Has disqualification issues and others are preferred
  14. L’AS DE SMARVES – Has struggled of late and was tenth in Class E at Nantes over 3000m on 13 February. Needs to find a few lengths to score
  15. LUCKY BOY VERTRAC – Not reliable and finished fourth at Mons over 2300m on 20 February. Needs to do a bit more to beat these rivals
    Summary: A very tricky opening event. SEVEN SEAS S (7) has some good form from Germany and some othat included beating French runners like rival in this DUKE OF NEW YORK (5). He could score on French debut. TAURUS CROWN (6) remains in good shape and should contest the finish. FRENCHCONNECTION (10) has a couple of diqualifications of late but was unlucky last time and could be a threat. SAM PIERJI (BEL) (4) has struck a priple patch of form and is clearly not out of it.

    Summary: A very open-looking race. NICE SPEED (4) was very unlucky last time out over this course and distance and can make amends for that if staying on the trot all the way through. NOTTINGEN (5) has only been beaten once in his three starts and should be right there at the finish once again. NOE DES BAUX (8) was not far behind them last time out and can be competitive once again. NOUS QUATRE (7) shows promise and is capable of getting involved with the finish.

    Summary: A very competitive-looking race. KARAT DEFF (7) was a bit of a disappointment last time out over this track and trip and is likely to do a lot better this time, so gets the vote to score. EL DORADO BAR (14) seems to have targeted this race and must be respected for that. KAIROS DE BOMO (13) is in good shape and could have a winning turn. ELAND (9) has only been modest of late but is likely to improve and could make the frame.

  44. WORKING CLASS HERO – Holding form and finished 5th in a Class A at this course over 2100m on 7 February. Probably at very best over shorter distances but a place prospect nonetheless
  45. HARMONY DU RABUTIN – Let her supporters down with a rare disqualification last time out in the Group 1 Prix d’Amérique at this track over 2700m on 25 January. Can bounce back to score over this longer distance
  46. KING OPERA – Won this race in 2023. Unreliable and was barefoot and tenth in the Group 1 Prix d’Amérique at this course over 2700m on 25 January. Others are preferred
  47. HAPPY DANICA – Only modest of late and finished 6th in a Class A at this course over 2100m on 7 February. Needs to do plenty more to beat these rivals and is easily overlooked
  48. JAZZMAN DEBAILLEUL – Has struggled of late and was 16th in a Group 2 at this track over 2850m on 28 December. Has been struggling all winter and is not worth any consideration
  49. J’AIME LE FOOT – Has lost his way and was disqualified last time out at this course over 2700m on 25 January. Should enjoy the rise in trip. Battling to find best form and others are preferred
  50. IMMORTAL DOC – Never too far behind and finished 6th in the Group 1 Prix d’Amérique at this track over 2700m on 25 January, Capable of making the frame
  51. IBIKI DE HOUELLE – Disqualified last time out at this course ovver 2700m on 18 January. better under the saddle and not easy to trust. Others are preferred
  52. FRANK GIO – Very game and consistent. Finished fourth in the Group 1 Prix d’Amérique at this course over 2700m on 25 January. Tries a lot further this time but is the one to beat
  53. JUST LOVE YOU – Put in an improved performance when 5th in the Group 1 Prix d’Amérique at this track over 2700m on 25 January. Can be competitive once again
  54. HOOKER BERRY – Disappointing form of late and was 9th in the Group 1 Prix d’Amérique at this course over 2700m on 25 January. Needs to raise his game and others make more appeal
  55. FRANCESCO ZET – Usually competitive and was third in the Group 1 Prix de France at this track over 2100m on 8 February. Tries a lot further this time but would not be a surprise winner
    Summary: FRANK GIO (11) was a good 4th in the Prix d’Amérique and did not enjoy the best of run that day. He is a pure class act and finds here a great opportunity to resume winning ways at the highest level. HARMONY DU RABUTIN (4) was possibly the most unlucky runner in the big race at the end of January and is seeking redemption too. FRANCESCO ZET (14) is a very smart trotter and can make a big splash on his first run over such a long distance. JUST LOVE YOU (12) gave every signs of a return to form in her last run and must be hugely respected too. HE AND ME (2) comes fresh into the race. He is on the upgrade and can be the surprise package at the finish.

    Summary: KIKA JOSSELYN (9) has been shining brightly of late and was a good winner of a Group 3 earlier this month. She may well follow up. LUDIVINE (3) has a string of runner-up positions and surely deserves a winning turn. LORD DU GERS (13) did not show his best when contesting a Group 1 last time out but is capable of being a threat at this level. FELLOW WISE AS (5) is capable of doing better and can also get involved with the finish.

HALICIA BELLA (12) and HEDEN CRUZ (7) are unreliable, but they are talented and capable of fighting out the finish of this race. JASON GINYU (3) is usually competitive and will be back in a mounted race. He is clearly not out of it over this course and distance.

    Summary: CHITCHAT (4) has built up an impressive three wins in a row with this driver. He has every chance of extending his winning streak. COMBAT FIGHTER (3) is better than his last run would suggest and can contest the finish dropped in distance this time around. NINEPOINTS LASSE (1) was not disgraced in a Group 3 last time out and is a lively threat. CHESTNUT (SWE) (10) is another that is quite capable of being successful when in the right frame of mind.

    Summary: Another very open race. It may pay to side with Eric Raffin and MY HAPPY STORY (14). She has only been moderate of late but is capable of winning a race of this nature. MARLEY (13) is at the top of her game and will not go down easily. MA AM CHENU (9) races without shoes for the very first time, so expect her to be right there at the finish. MA LIBERTE (12) has disqualification issues but is also capable of being a lively danger.

    Summary: A tricky and competitive lucky last race. MERCURE D’ELLE (4) looked the likely winner before faulting earlier this month at this track. He can make amends and score this time around if smart. MAESTRO D’AVEL (3) was victorious over a shorter distance at this track last time out but is improving and should have no problems with this trip, so must be respected. MITCH DE GRANOU (9) remains in good shape and would not be a surprise winner. MALDRIC D’ECHAL (8) is unreliable but is also not out of it.

  3. VISIONNAIRE – Five unplaced runs, the most recent over 1700m at Pornichet in a maiden race on February 5th. Looks of limited talent
  4. LE SENONNAIS – Placed on the last two runs, 3rd on the most recent over 2000m at Angers in a maiden race on November 2nd. Key chance
  5. NEBEK BLAGNY – Finished 5th on his second start over 2100m at Pornichet in a maiden on January 24th. Capable of being competitive
  6. LE MARCEL – Two unplaced runs, the latter over 1800m at Chantilly in a Class 1 race on February 13th. Unlikely to be a threat
  7. QUEL BONHEUR – Unraced gelding by Anodin, the dam won 5 races. Stable runners warrant respect on debut and he is worth a market check
  8. LUCKY TWENTY – Unraced gelding by Lucky Team, the dam won 3 races. From a respected trainer that knows the time of day. Likely to play a leading role
  9. TOUZ BAY – Unraced gelding by Taj Mahal, the dam never ran. Likely to improve for this run unless the betting patterns are lively
    Summary: LE SENONNAIS (4) has shown plenty of promise with two recent placed efforts, the latest coming at Angers when finishing third in a maiden race in November. He can get off the mark ahead of the main threat, LUCKY TWENTY (8), who has an appealing profile and comes from a stable capable of readying one to strike on debut. NEBEK BLAGNY (5) shaped well when finishing fifth in a maiden at Pornichet in January and can make the frame. QUEL BONHEUR (7) heads the remainder.

  50. BAIE CHOPE – Only managed an 8th place finish at Marseille Vivaux over 1500m in Handicap company on the 10th of this month and would be a shock winner
  51. AEIH – Form has been dismal over various tracks and trips and is therefore very hard to make a case for. Would be a shock if placing
  52. LA BELLE OTERO – Has not run much and not much form to recommend over various tracks and trips. Will need to find plenty to feature and is hard to fancy
    Summary: SCHACHEN (1) is lightly raced and showing decent ability. She was victorious on debut and has been promising ever since and is therefore the firm first selection. L’ALTA ROCCA (7) comes into the race fresh off a win at this very track and has every opportunity of following up and will be a serious threat to the first choice. KHALINSKHA (2) has won two from four thus far and despite the most recent win being in a weak claiming, she race can be right there again. OCRA (3) is consistent and must be included in all bets.

  56. TIPINSO – A nice horse that has won his last two encouragingly well. Last victory was at this track over 2150m on the 12th of last month and he is selected to reel off the hat trick
  57. HORIZON DORE – has placed at the highest level in a not too distant past and was a winner at this level of his penultimate start. A good 3rd at this venue over 2150m on the 1st of February on comeback run. Player with improvement likely
  58. MANEKI – Comes into the race fresh off victory at this track over 2150m on the 1st of this month and can follow up. Must be hugely respected
  59. ONKEL VOLLI – Lightly raced locally, finished 2nd at Cagnes-Sur-Mer over 2150m on the 1st of the month and was a winner before that but others are preferred
  60. CROQUIS – Finished 7th in a Listed race at this venue over 2000m on the 24th of last month but has solid overall form. Was a Listed winner four starts back. Respected
  61. GRECIAN COMET – Won her last start which was at this course over 2150m in a Handicap on the 2nd of February but others should be stronger and are preferred. Happy to pass by
  62. WINDFLOWER – Holding form, placed 2nd at this course over 2150m on the 12th of last month and has to be respected and included in all bets. Each way chance
    Summary: TIPINSO (4) is a solid performer and is in tremendous form currently having won his last two impressively. One victory was at Tarbes and the other right here at this circuit. He has a huge chance of reeling off the hat trick. MANEKI (6) has competed at Listed level before, was a winner of the last start and can be very competitive in this. A must inclusion for absolutely everything. ALWAYS WELCOME (1) is a good, twelve times winner whom has to respected. Group 1-placed HORIZON DORE (5) cannot be ignored in a race of this nature.

  67. KIZMAMBO – Finished 3rd at this course over 1600m in a Handicap on the 2nd of February and was a winner six races back. Fair overall form and has a good chance
  68. HE TOUCHED ME – Was a winner of penultimate run but followed up with a shocker back in 15th place at this venue over 1500m in a Handicap on the 19th of last month. Would be a surprise winner
  69. WONDER BOY – Has won plenty races, placed 5th at this venue over 1600m on the 11th of February and should be in the first four. Must be respected
  70. STUNNING HERO – Recent form has been on the decline over various tracks and trips and is very hard to fancy and make a case for therefore it is better to pass this outsider by. Unlikely to threaten
  71. STELLAR CHOP – Placed 6th at Marseille Vivaux over 1500m on the 18th of November last year and will more than likely need the run to tighten up. Happy to ignore
  72. FAVORITE CRIME – Will need to build on last run when only 6th at this course over 1500m on the 15th of this month and others are preferred. Pass by
  73. SUNRISE DREAM – Was way back near last in 13th place at Deauville over 1900m on the 7th of this month in a Handicap and has dismal overall form. Needs serious improvement. Pass by
  74. MONSIEURVALCHOP – Only got as close as 7th place last time when racing here at Cagnes-Sur-Mer over 1300m in a claiming field on the 15th of February and will need to do more. Happy to ignore
    Summary: SCARFACE (4) has solid form and rates one of the main contenders for top position. He was a good 3rd at this track over 1300m last time and has a huge winning chance. TASHANKA (2) was a sound winner too last time and has every chance of following up. WONDER BOY (7) has ultra-consistent form and is one for the shortlist. SASKATOON (3) knows how to win races and is so consistent that he can never be ignored from any bets.

  78. ANAMALAY – Three unplaced runs this year, no show over 1600m at this track on February 1st in a Class 3 handicap. Hard to recommend
  79. INTUITION – Placed 4th over 1600m in a Class 4 race at this track on February 18th. Out again quickly and warrants consideration
  80. SICILIAN THREAT – Two unplaced runs this year, below par over 1300m at this track on January 27th in a Class 3 handicap. Hardly inspiring

  82. WILMOT – Unplaced last time, 4th before that over 1400m at Nancy in a Class 4 handicap on November 30th. Might find this difficult
  83. MONSIEUR FANTAISIE – Two unplaced runs this year, 7th over 1300m in a Class 3 handicap on January 27th on the last start. Place contender
  84. SI CAPO SI – Two placed runs from the last three runs, the latest when 3rd over 1600m in a Class 3 handicap at this track 20 days ago. Hard to rule out
  85. ANDINO – Unplaced last time, 4th before that over 1600m in a Class 4 handicap on January 20th. One to look at each-way
  86. STYLE DE MIMI – Several unplaced runs of late, 9th over the track and trip in a Class 4 claimer on February 15th. Out of form and best avoided
    Summary: PINK VALENTINE (7) won over the track and trip in a similar race late in January and looks set to follow up. Her chief rival could be SI CAPO SI (10), who was third over 1600m at this track 20 days ago and can be effective dropping in trip today. ANDINO (11) has a good racing weight and looks like a safe each-way option. INTUITION (5) was fourth four days ago at this track and is one to keep onside.
