- MEGANE DE CERISY – Has major disqualification issues and was disqualified at Enghien on 14 June. Can earn some money if wise
Summary: A very competitive-looking race for a small field. MOUFFETARD (2) fluffed his lines with a disqualification on debut but has impressed with two wins since. His latest victory—over this course and distance—suggests there is more to come. ME AND YOU (3) is unbeaten after two starts and has every chance of completing a hat-trick. MAJOR DU BISTON (5) has also won both of his starts to date and must be respected. MOZART DU DOLLAR (1) may need to find a few lengths to beat these rivals but could still pick up a cheque.

Summary: HANNIBAL TUILERIE (17) won a leg of this Green Trophy in June and was not disgraced at Vincennes later that month. He looks the one to beat in what should be a competitive race. JANE CASH (3) is in very good form and should be right there at the finish once again. IERMES DE GUEZ (5) is a class act and is making his first attempt at a Green Trophy. - GLADIATOR PHEDO – Encouraged at Graignes before finishing 5th of 6 in a 2525m Class H at Les Andelys 3 weeks ago. Has never disappointed under the saddle here but still represents no more than a minor place chance
- IMPECC BLUE – Last but one in a 2800m Pontchateau harness Class E 3 weeks ago. Runner-up in both ridden starts to date and with Paul Ploquin in the saddle will be no easy touch
- IN LOVE DE L’ITON – Imposed at Le Croise-Laroche before coming 2nd of 9 in a 2850m Mauquenchy Class G a month back. Has shown a liking for Laval conditions and looks main threat to HELIA DAIRPET (9)
- HERACLES DU LAYON – Sanctioned in a 2800m Moulins Class F last weekend. Is no slouch but has little love for Laval and others preferred
- HEROIC PARK – Last of 8 in a 2700m Vincennes Class D 9 days ago. Not as sharp as he once was and can be passed over
- IRINA DU RIS – 2nd in a Nantes Class E prior to coming 5th of 7 finishers in a 3150m Abbeville Class F 3 weeks ago. Is more at home on a hard surface and must be taken seriously
- HELIA DAIRPET – Comfortable winner of a 2300m Chartres Class F on 1 June. Placed on sole barefoot appearance here and in current condition can bring home the bacon
Summary: Nicely-engaged close to the limit of earnings, HELIA DAIRPET (9) has been excelling over recent months and, confirmed at Laval, looks the one to beat. She will be opposed though by IN LOVE DE L’ITON (5) who has hardly put a foot out of line over recent months, and the Alexandre Abrivard-partnered IRINA DU RIS (8) who will be shod as she was when running close at Nantes recently. IMPECC BLUE (4) has demonstrated good monte aptitude and returns to the discipline with a lot to contribute.

- JOKER DE MARZY – Excellent 2nd at Nantes prior to comfortably winning a 2625m Cherbourg Class E mid-June. In marginally better company here but still represents a decent place chance
- JALNA DU GERS – Unraced since finishing 10th of 16 in a 2750m Class E at La Capelle late-March. Sports a fresh configuration though and if sufficiently tuned-up can get in on the action
- JOLIKOVA D’ARIANE – Unthreatening 6th of 11 in a Class D over course and distance 10 days ago. Goes barefoot again though and should not be overlooked
- JOISO POKER PRO – Tricky sort that ran 4th of 10 to JEKILL ROCQ (10) in a 2750m Elbeuf Class F on 18 May. Has never excelled at Laval but with hind shoes off and Alexandre Abrivard reining, will be no pushover
- JULEJACQ – Pleased at Nantes before coming 2nd of 16 in a 2825m amateurs Class G at Sable-sur-Sarthe a month ago. Takes on a better lot here though and is unlikely to influence the outcome
- JELENIA BELLA – Ran 3rd at Nantes prior to faulting in a 2700m Thouars Class F on 9 June. Has a particular liking for the Laval profile and, reunited with Antoine Wiels, will be expected to set the record straight
- JAHINA VITA – 6th of 14 on comeback in a 2800m Pontchateau amateurs Class G 3 weeks ago. Has references here but is being aimed too high
- JUST A MAN – Produced a pair of good efforts before finishing 7th of 9 behind JEKILL ROCQ (10) in a 2200m Caen Class D 2.5 weeks ago. Has never delivered in the day’s configuration and is not about to start now
- JEKILL ROCQ – 5th of 9 finishers in a 2200m Caen Class D 2.5 weeks ago. Goes barefoot this time and with form maintained is unlikely to go down easily
- JAMSHIR – Got back in the winners’ circle a week ago, winning a 3225m Montmirail Class E. Is never far from faulting but is plainly in good shape and with application should figure prominently
- JURILOVCA – Has had 4 conditioners since her break, latterly 9th of 15 in a 2800m Vire Class D 11 days ago. Won her only start at the venue and is easy to like for the win
- JIM D’ALOUETTE – Quality element starting for first time since coming 2nd of 16 in a 2825m Chartres Class F mid-April. Shoes on though and best to wait
Summary: Patiently conditioned following a decent layoff, JURILOVCA (12) races barefoot for her first objective of the season and considering the entry, should be good enough to win this. She will still come under pressure from JEKILL ROCQ (10) who also runs barefoot, and a reconfigured JOKER DE MARZY (2) who is clearly back at the top of his game. JELENIA BELLA (7) has never disappointed here and with application will have her chances.

- JACK DES MALBERAUX – Starts for first time since finishing 9th of 10 in a 2150m Vichy Class B on 12 May. Has been off the boil and with shoes on can be disregarded
- JERZINHO SPORT – Got back in the game when 3rd of 13 in a 2775m Craon Class D 2 weeks ago. Imposed under these conditions 12 months ago but others still preferred
- JOY JENILOU – Steps back up in category after making short work of a 2100m Vincennes amateurs Class F on 13 June and although not a priority, must be respected with Sébastien Ernault in the bike
- JAZZ DE PADD – Given an easy re-entry when 12th of 13 behind JERZINHO SPORT (3) in a 2775m Craon Class D 2 weeks ago. Has a lot going for him here and if sufficiently tuned-up, can get straight down to business
- JEREMY D’AS – Imposed at Chateaubriant before coming 2nd of 16 in a 2600m Le Touquet Class F on 22 June. Excels here when barefoot and must be considered a leading proposition
- JUGEMENT D’AVE – Put in a good showing at Vincennes before running 2nd of 12 in a 1900m Class D at Le Croise-Laroche on 23 June, and will be expected to contest the finish once more
- JAVELOT – Imposed at Thouars before coming 5th of 18 in a 2775m Craon Class F a fortnight ago. Is unlikely to get his nose in front but a place in the frame is well within his capability
- JAB DE MYE – Made amends for Vincennes misstep when 3rd of 16 in a 2450m Caen Class D on 11 June. Is new to the venue but in current condition is easy to like
Summary: An absolute dynamo when racing barefoot, JAZZ DE PADD (5) may have just the one race under his belt since last July but he is reunited with Alexandre Abrivard and can make his Laval debut a winning one. That said Antoin Wiels will have his own plans for JUGEMENT D’AVE (7) whose latest effort augurs well for his chances. JEREMY D’AS (6) is a model of consistency when barefoot, appreciates Laval, and in current form is easy to recommend. Also a fan of Laval, JAVELOT (8) is clearly in decent shape and can challenge for a place on the podium.

C4 – PRIX DE SENONNES – 2850m (a2m) – Class E Race – Harness – EUR € 24,000 - KALI DES LANDIERS – Below-par in last 2, most recently 7th of 9 in a 2800m Chartres Class E last weekend, and is not about to influence the result
- KAPELLA DRY – Failed to confirm Durtal victory when sanctioned in a 2950m Saint-Malo Class E a month ago and others easier to trust
- KLARISSE – Last of 9 behind KALI DES LANDIERS (1) in a 2800m Chartres Class E last weekend. Stays shod and can be ruled out
- KRUG LOVER – Failed to make it 2 in a row when 2nd of 14 in a 2825m Class E at Le Croise-Laroche 3 weeks ago. Can prove a handful but with stride in check can also play a leading role
- KLASSIC WINNER – 6th of 8 finishers in a Class E over track and trip on 12 June. Is no slouch, sports front pads for first time, but others still preferred
- KALEDA DE LA COUR – Hardy marę that was sanctioned in a 2625m Class E at Le Croise-Laroche 3 weeks ago. Is proven at a superior level and, if focused, can make this her own
- KARAT COOL – Winner of his last 2, latterly a 2975m Jallais Class F mid-June. Shod for return to a hard surface but can still make first 5
- KAISER BEGONIA – 2nd of 8 in a 2500m Reims Class E in early-June, on just 2nd start back. Hind shoes off again and if applied can bring the fight to KALEDA DE LA COUR (6)
- KAROLINA DI SEMBLE – Unexceptional 5th of 7 over course and distance on 12 June before being sanctioned in a 2100m Vincennes Class E 12 days later. Has merit but cannot be considered a player
- KASSIOPEIA – Sanctioned when well-supported in a 2775m Craon Class E a fortnight back. Talented driver at the helm this time and can more than make amends
- KOSETTE DU LINON – Won 3 of last 4, latterly a 2975m Jallais Class F 3 weeks ago. Is confirmed when shod, enjoys a terrific entry, and in current form is easy to like for a minor place cheque
Summary: Although not the easiest of horses to handle, KALEDA DE LA COUR (6) nevertheless showed her form at Nantes on her penultimate start and can have her day in the sun if Alexandre Abrivard keeps her trotting. She will still encounter resistance from KAISER BEGONIA (8) who gave a reassuringly good account at Reims on 1 June, and KASSIOPEIA (10) who returns to a hard surface with Sébastien Ernault reining and a good hand to play. A tough nut to crack when focused, KRUG LOVER (4) is clearly in rude health and should again figure prominently.

- LORD MIL – Sanctioned on return from a break in a 2525m Class E at Les Andelys 3 weeks ago and can expect to have few takers
- LOUVIERS – Enjoyed a productive start to the year but disappointing since, latterly 6th of 9 finishers in a 2875m Enghien Class E last weekend, and is unlikely to rock the boat
- LUTHIER DE PAIL – Solid as a rock since starting to race barefoot, most recently 2nd of 11 in a 2800m Pontchateau Class E on 5 June. Is patently close to his race and looks a leading contender
- LOMAC GEDE – Has not been seen out since running 2nd of 16 in a Class E over course and distance late-March. Shoes on and not a priority this time around
- LYNX GRIFF – Twice ran 4th before being sanctioned in a 2800m Chartres Class E 2.5 weeks ago. Has references at this level and on good behaviour can impose
- LE ROCKER DE PLAY – 6th of 8 finishers, on return from a spell, in a 2800m Chartres Class E 2.5 weeks ago. Hind shoes off for first time and while not a priority can nevertheless make first 5
- LOOK DES ECUS – 2nd at Les Sables-d’Olonne before dominating a 2200m Caen Class E 2.5 weeks ago, and with application can confirm
- LITTLEKING FOXGLEN – Spirited type that finished 7th of 11 in a 2750m Class D at La Capelle 12 days ago. In less-exalted company this time and has every chance of finishing in the frame
Summary: Like a horse reborn since starting to race in the day’s configuration, LOOK DES ECUS (9) made no bones about imposing in Caen last month and is in with a realistic shout of repeating. Thomas Chalon will still be keeping a keen eye on LUTHIER DE PAIL (5) who has been knocking at the door recently, and the complicated but well-engaged LITTLEKING FOXGLEN (10) who returns to racing with hind shoes fitted. Similarly reconfigured, LYNX GRIFF (7) has never disappointed here and is unlikely to start now.

- LUCKY BAZOQUAIN – Honest sort that ran a reassuring 2nd of 11 in a 2800m Chartres Class F 2.5 weeks ago. Has been freshly reconfigured for his step up the category-ladder and will not be too far from the action
- LEO DES KECHES – Won 2 on the trot prior to being sanctioned in a 2775m Class E at Les Sables-d’Olonne early last month. Should not be too hastily-condemned and is not incapable of imposing
- LAGON DU DEZERT – Runner-up to LAURO FLIGNY (11) in a Class E over course and distance on 12 June. Has been reconfigured for the occasion and must be retained
- LATINO FLIGNY – Takes to the ridden code for first time after coming 3rd of 12 in a 2750m Ecommoy Class F 2 weeks ago but appears to be taking on too much

- LUCKY NUMBER – Unexceptional here mid-May before setting the record straight in a 2775m Class E at Les Sables-d’Olonne early last month. Boasts decent Laval credentials and will be competitive for a spot on the podium
- LA SOL FA – Last of 7 finishers in a 2250m Enghien Class D last weekend. Has been off the boil recently and must first reaffirm
- LAURO FLIGNY – Authoritative winner over course and distance on 12 June before finishing 12th of 15 in a harness Class D under similar conditions a fortnight later. Barefoot this time and should logically garner the lion’s share of support
Summary: LAURO FLIGNY (11) outclassed the opposition under these conditions last month, returns to racing barefoot after having prepped under harness, and even in the absence of Eric Raffin, can double his money. Excepting his early-June sanction, LEO DES KECHES (4) has been a thorough professional and Alan Gendrot will be determined to put things right. LUMIERE DES ISLES (2) has been enjoying quite the renaissance since switching disciplines and the hat-trick is not out of the question. LUCKY NUMBER (9) has won 2 of his last 3 and should again acquit himself competitively.

C7 – PRIX DE MOLIERES – 2850m (a2m) – Class G Amateur Drivers Race – Harness – EUR € 6,000 - INES D’IDEF – Opened her amateur account when successful in a 2700m Graignes amateurs Class G on 5 June and with Julien Renault at the helm again, can double her money
- HAKA DANCER – Consistent for the most part, most recently 2nd of 16 in a 2800m Pontchateau amateurs Class G last weekend, and in similar shape could well repeat
- IN ROCK DE PLAY – Won smartly at Langon before coming 8th of 10 finishers in a 3150m amateurs Class H at Mamers on 9 June. Clearly better on a hard surface and looks the one to beat
- IROISE DES BAULTS – Back under harness after being sanctioned in a 2675m monte Class F at Le Mont-Saint-Michel last Monday. Has previously won at this level but would be preferred barefoot and represents no more than a minor place prospect
- IN LOVE WITH PUCH – 7th of 15 behind HAKA DANCER (2) in a 2725m Avranches amateurs Class H mid-June. Has done nothing noteworthy at this level for some time and can be passed over
- IDEAL DES BRIERES – Well-beaten in both return runs, latterly last but one in a 3000m Jallais Class E on 13 June. Is barefoot this time but has no particular love for Laval
- ILTON DU BRAY – Returns to racing shod after finishing last of 9 in a 2800m Pontchateau Class E mid-June. Placed under these conditions mid-May and despite the penalty should not be ruled out
- HOLD UP PECE – Drops in category after being sanctioned in a 3400m Orleans Class F last weekend. Faces a modest lot this time and with stride in check can finish in the mix
- FOR ME GEDE – Sanctioned in a 2575m Saint-Brieuc amateurs Class F 3 weeks ago. Boasts fine references in this category though and even with shoes fitted must be respected
- FURY D’EVEL – Unplaced in last 10 starts, most recently 6th of 13 in a 2575m Saint-Brieuc Class F on 14 June, and has no possible chance
- ECLAIR DU GOSIER – Sanctioned in a 3000m amateurs Class F at Montluçon mid-June and is not about to create an upset
- HELSINKI GIRL – Courageous 6th of 7 in a 2150m Vichy Class E late last month. Has won twice over course and distance, benefits from a good entry, and is unlikely to disappoint
Summary: A serious campaigner for the most part, and regularly in the thick of things at this level, IN ROCK DE PLAY (3) starts on the front row this time and can make up for his Mamers clinker. He will still encounter resistance from INES D’IDEF (1) who got back down to business at Graignes a month back, and HOLD UP PECE (8) who looks competitively well in despite the 25m handicap. HELSINKI GIRL (12) is never far from faulting but should nevertheless find these conditions more to her liking.
