- SORENGO – Unraced gelding by Yafta, the dam won 3 races at up to 1900m. He might need this run for experience. The betting can be informative

Summary: KALAHANI (2) has finished runner-up on both starts, most recently over 2000m at Vichy in late July, and looks ready to open his account. LA FRENAYE (4) shaped well when second on debut at Clairefontaine in early July, though the drop back in trip may hand the advantage to the colt. IDYLLE TURGOT (10) has her peak outing and races barefoot which as a combination could see her running a big race. GHOST DE BEAULIEU (14) is best forgiven for his latest outing and is better judged on previous form which should see him earning a cheque. HORIZON D’AMARO (12) is capable of shaping up with encouragement and can place.

JIZUKE JIEL (4) hasn’t been far off the action in these mounted events and another consistent performance is on the cards. - GARDEN OF MEMORY – On a long losing run and finished 7th in Class E at Agon-Coutainville over 3450m on 25 August. Others make more appeal
Summary: ISIA DU CHENE (9) bounced back to winning ways with a solid win and can go back to back in a winnable event. He will be looking to make it five wins this year. GOHAKI (7) found one too good last time out but was a winner two starts back and will have a say in the finish. - ICAM – Returns to a track he appreciates after coming 4th of 11 in a 2650m Class G at Les Sables-d’Olonne a fortnight ago. Put in an excellent time that day and a similar effort would see him contest the finish
- INTRIGUE DE VIETTE – Pleasantly surprising 5th of 10 finishers, a place behind HISTOIRE DE LIERRE (9), in a Class F over course and distance a week ago, and is unlikely to be sent out at 28/1 on this occasion
- HAUGAIN – Steps back up in category after coming good 2nd of 14 in a 2900m amateurs Class H at La Chartre-sur-le-Loir 11 days ago. Has never disappointed here and the front-row break will do his chances no harm
- IDEAL FLEURI – 2nd at Granville before coming 4th of 12 finishers in a 2850m Carentan Class F mid-month. Has a lot going for him here and is unlikely to disappoint. Place chance

- HELLO KERODA – Useful on a good day but eliminated in a Class F under these conditions a week back. Eric Raffin stays faithful but others still preferred
- HAPPY DE TOUCHYVON – Last but one behind HIGH MONEY D’AVRAN (12) in a 3100m Chinon Class H mid-month. Has bags of ability but is here for reasons of conditioning and can be passed over

- INDY DE LA FYE – In the frame in 3 before running 5th of 12 finishers, a place behind IDEAL FLEURI (8), in a 2850m Carentan Class F mid-month. Is clearly better than that though and has a decent chance of imposing
- ICE HAUFOR – Failed to confirm Sables-d’Olonne performance when eliminated early in 21 August race of reference. Cannot be considered a priority but Matthieu Abrivard will be eager to set the record straight. Attention
- HIRIUS DE GUEZ – 9th of 12 behind IDEAL D’ATTAQUE (4) in a Class F under these conditions a week ago. Shoes on once more and will have nothing to offer
Summary: INDY DE LA FYE (14) is as honest as they come, is plainly close to his race, and even from the back row seems a marginally better bet than ICAM (5) who is 25m better off. HISTOIRE DE LIERRE (9) reassured here a week ago and looks a player once more. Reinvigorated this month, and ideally engaged on the front line, IDEAL FLEURI (8) sports a new configuration and will be partnered by Mathieu Mottier for the first time.

- JAZZ DANOVER – Last of 8 finishers in a 2550m Bacqueville-en-Caux Class H mid-month. Has been disappointing over recent weeks and must get his house in order

- JASONDOR DU VINOIS – Made it 3 wins from 4 starts in a 3500m Class F at Sille-le-Guillaume on 9 August. Returns to a hard surface and steps marginally up in category, but still looks competitively well in
- JERRY DE L’ERDRE – Runner-up in last 2, latterly a 2625m Cherbourg Class F 10 days ago. Incurs the penalty but is nicely-engaged and in present form is easy to recommend for a place in the picture
- JAGUAR D’ERABLE – Failed to confirm Monpazier victory when last of 13 in a 2625m amateurs Class H at Le Sap last Sunday. Is plainly better than that though and Cedric Terry will be out to put things right
Summary: It’s always a question of all-or-nothing for the talented JOUEUR DU LUPIN (10) who has not been seen out since early-June, but he is clearly in competition-mode and can wrap this up if Antoine Wiels keeps him trotting. 25m better off though, and on a hat-trick, JALISKO DU CANET (4) looks the main threat. JERRY DE L’ERDRE (12) has come close numerous times this summer and despite the handicap will be no pushover, and neither should the better-placed, and barefoot, JOHNNY DU PONT (6) who won on his first start for almost 2 years.

- KADENCE DU PERCHE – Ran 2nd under the saddle at Mauquenchy before coming 4th of 10 finishers in a 2700m Graignes harness Class F earlier in the month. Has a lot going for her and Alexis Collette will be eager to capitalise on her form
Summary: Back under the saddle, and reconfigured for the occasion, after a troubled stretch in the other code, KARTING BOY (8) is reunited with Eric Raffin who has already won with him, and with application should be able to hold off KOUSINE MAJYC (10) who reverts to her Enghien configuration. KASTELBRAC (7) has been knocking at the door and will have a lot to offer if he takes to the new conditions. KADENCE DU PERCHE (13) reverts to a previous formula, benefits from a good entry, appears to have found her way again, and is unlikely to be far off the mark.

- JASMINE DU ROY – 2nd of 9 to JULIETTA VICI (4) in a 2775m Class F at Les Sables-d’Olonne last Friday. Left a particularly good impression that day and Olivier Raffin can the justifiably confident of another competitive performance

- JOYCE DREAM – Last but one when preparing for this in a 2750m Cabourg Class E mid-month. Ideally-entered at the limit of earnings and can figure prominently if her trainer keeps her focused
Summary: A fine servant with a race under her belt since the spell, JOELLA BELLA (12) goes barefoot for the first time since 2023 and looks eminently capable of opening her summer account. She will still come under pressure from a barefoot JOYCE DREAM (13) whose recent results should not be taken at face value, and reconfigured front-line starter JULIETTA VICI (4) who returned to winning ways last week. JASMINE DU ROY (5) ran second to her that day and will again be expected to challenge for a spot on the podium.

- KADOR DE SEVRE – Reunited with Mathieu Mottier after running 7th of 9 in a 2575m Château-du-Loir Class F on 27 July. Unlikely to paint the town red but has been reconfigured and will have his supporters
- KENNEDY TEXAN – Placed twice before running 4th of 12 in a 2950m Saint-Malo Class F a fortnight back. Gets a top driver this time and looks thoroughly capable of imposing
- KRALL DE CORDAY – Got back in the game at Agon 11 days ago when 3rd of 12 in a 2200m Class F and returns to a track he likes with every chance of giving KENNEDY TEXAN (15) a run for his money
Summary: Highly regular since starting to race barefoot, and nicely-entered here, KENNEDY TEXAN (15) has been entrusted to Eric Raffin for the occasion and could well secure a first victory since April 2024. He will still face resistance from the similarly well-engaged KRALL DE CORDAY (16) who has a particular liking for Pornichet, and the freshly-reconfigured front-line starter, KAPRICCIO (6), who pleased on his lone start with Matthieu Abrivard. KELROC (13) put things right at Les Sables-d’Olonne and with application can finish close.

- KALINE DU LEVANT – Back to racing unshod-behind after coming 5th of 10 finishers in a 2700m Graignes Class F on 9 August. Is by no means a priority but with application can get in on the action
- KARIDY DU DOME – Eliminated in last 2, latterly a 2550m Class H at Bacqueville-en-Caux 2.5 weeks ago. Lacks reliability, not ability, and on good behaviour can challenge for a spot on the podium
- KELOWNA – Showed improvement when 3rd of 16 in a 2875m Carentan claimer mid-month. Is confirmed when racing shod and in this company will have a part to play
- KADJA DES BROUSSES – Ran 3rd at Les Sables-d’Olonne before coming 2nd of 12 in a 2400m Beaupreau Class F last Sunday. Champion driver gets the nod here and has a realistic chance of getting her off the mark
- KAMYNA DE GUEGUE – Last of 12 in a 2625m Class F at Le Sap last Sunday, and would be preferred in the other code
- KISS ME DE L’ESQUE – Got off the mark at Royan prior to being pulled-up in a 2700m Class F at Le Dorat on 9 August. Hind shoes off this time, and nicely-entered in front, but still faces a stiff test

- KISS ME CHERIE – Unable to confirm Château-du-Loir performance when last of 12 in a 2475m Francheville Class F on 17 August. Shoes on this time and can be passed over
- KADECOLE DE GUERRE – Returns to a more reasonable category after finishing last of 10 in a 2625m Cherbourg Class E 10 days ago. Has otherwise been in fine shape and at this level looks a serious proposition
- KANTA EMJI – 7th of 10 in a 2775m Class F at Les Sables-d’Olonne last week despite being subject to interference. Has yet to deliver at this level but has a lot going for her here and will be expected to play an active role
- KALINE DU BOULAY – Blows hot and cold but ran reassuring 4th of 7 finishers, a place behind KENZIE VREDEBEST (17), in a 2200m Agon Class F 11 days ago. Not a contender should give an honourable account nevertheless
- KENZIE VREDEBEST – Erratic mare but reassuring 3rd of 7 finishers in a 2200m Agon Class F 11 days ago. Benefits from a tremendous entry, runs barefoot, and will not be going home empty-handed
Summary: Although still a maiden after 27 runs, KADJA DES BROUSSES (8) has twice gone close recently, sports modified shoeing, and the engagement of Eric Raffin could well make all the difference this time. KADECOLE DE GUERRE (14) starts on the back line but is significantly better than recent numbers would suggest, and has also been re-shod. Somewhat unlucky last time out, KANTA EMJI (15) returns to racing barefoot, with Matthieu Abrivard at the helm, and will have her chances. Front shoes back on here, KARIDY DU DOME (6) hails from a yard in form and will not be far from the action if her trainer keeps her focused.

- LIGHTNING MARGAUX – 10th of 11 in a 2500m Vibraye Class F last Sunday and is biting off more than he can chew here
- LAROUS – Won a 2850m Mauquenchy Class E late-July before finishing 6th of 9 in a similar event there 3 weeks ago. Goes first time barefoot and can make a big splash if he takes to the new profile
- LAMBADA GIRL – Lost her action in a 2300m Chateaubriant Class E 3 weeks ago. Twice a winner for Eric Raffin and can make it a 3rd if he keeps her focused
- LOVE DU PASSAGE – Showed the limit of his capacity when last of 9 in a 2650m Class E here a week ago. On the back line this time and is unlikely to influence the result
- LABEL MAGIC – Has hardly put a foot wrong this year, latterly 2nd of 10 in a 2625m Class F at Saint-Jean-de-Monts on 3 August. Is proven here and it will not be long before he gets his nose in front
- LA CALLAS – Respectable but unthreatening 4th of 13 in a 2850m Mauquenchy Class E on 24 July. In better company this time and chances appear slim
- LUCIANO VET – Made up for Mauquenchy misfortune when 4th of 10 in a 2500m Class E at La Rochelle early this month, and considering the entry, looks a serious contender. Claim
Summary: Just a few Euros from the earnings’ threshold, LUCIANO VET (12) has show his form more than once this summer and could well make his Pornichet debut a winning one. Bertrand Le Beller will still be keeping a keen eye on the complicated LAMBADA GIRL (8) who has won 2 of her last 4, and the in-form LABEL MAGIC (10) who is due a win one of these days. Barefoot for the first time, LASCAR DE BEAUM (5) is not about to lose his maiden status but Pascal Monthule could not have wished for a better entry and will be determined to make hay.

Summary: Winner at the first time of asking, MACARENA (3) failed to confirm when eliminated early here recently, but she is better than most and can win this if Eric Raffin gets her off on the right foot. Considerably more experienced, and maiden winner earlier in the month, MISS BABY DU SURF (12) benefits from a terrific entry and Martial Viel will be out to capitalise. MONNAIE COURANTE (9) has shown a lot of heart and Pornichet should suit her to a tee. MOSTRA DE CHANLECY (11) was another to get off the mark last time out and the presence of Mathieu Mottier in the bike will do her chances no disservice.
