C1 – PRIX COM DE COM THIERACHE DU CENTRE – 2750m (a1m1/2) – Class D – Harness – EUR € 35,000

  1. HEAVEN D’ECAJEUL – Unreliable and finished 8th in class D at Vincennes over 2100m on 12 September. Better over shorter but can contest the finish
  2. IRON SPIRIT – Only modest of late and finished fifth in a Mounted class F at Les Andelys over 2525m on 14 September. Needs to find a few lengths to win
  3. HORSERIS – Not disgraced when third in class F at Saint-Ouen-des-Toits over 3250m on 13 September. Might play a minor role
  4. HIBOU D’ERPION – Has only been modest of late and finished 7th in class F at Compiegne over 2800m on 7 September. More is needed to win
  5. IALKO JENILAT – In good form and was third in class F at Vichy over 2950m on 26 August. Remains barefoot. Big chance in this line-up
  6. HAPPY ATOUT – Unreliable but was runner-up in class E at this track over 1800m on 3 September. Has a place chance this distance
  7. HOLLYWOOD TORINO – Has some fair form and finished ffth in class E at Vincennes over 2700m on 6 September. Capable of playng a minor role
  8. IGRISONI – Did not show his best when 6th in class D at Vincennes over 2100m on 12 September. Better this distance and should fight out the finish
  9. HORSY ROYAL – Has struggled in both starts this year and was 8th in class D at this track over 2700m on 3 September. Needs to find a few lengths to win
  10. IT’S MY DREAM – Disqualified in class D at this track over 2700m on 3 September. Battling to find best form and others are preferred
  11. IPALIO – Unreliabe and finished 7th in class C at Vincennes over 2700m on 13 August. On a long losing run but could play a minor role
  12. HORS BORD – Unreliable but was third in class D at Enghien over 2150m on 13 August. Remains barefoot and can be competitve once again
  13. HALMA D’AMER – Only modest of late and finished 6th in class C at Vincennes over 2700m on 13 August. Did better last year and is capable of an upset
  14. HAWAI PONT VAUTIER – Disappointing last run when 7th in class B at Beaumont-de-Lomagne over 2550m on 2 September. In good form and can make the frame
    Summary: IALKO JENILAT (5) was a good third at Vichy last month, behind some decent sorts. He has a good record barefoot and runs without shoes again, so he sets the standard for this race. IGRISONI (8) did not show his best at Vincennes but is better over this distance and will be a threat. HEAVEN D’ECAJEUL (1) is not reliable but has run well over this track and trip. HORS BORD (12) is also unreliable but can contest the finish. IPALIO (11) is another that can get involved in the finish.

  16. MARWIN – In good shape and was third in class E over this track and trip on 26 August. Capable of making the frame
  17. MIMO DU MESNIL – Has some fair form and was not disgraced when fifth in class E at this track over 2700m on 26 August. Might play a minor role
  18. MAMBO PLANCHETTE – In good form and was fourth in class E at Laval over 2850m on 29 August. Yet to win a race but does have a place chance in this line-up
  19. MARENO BELLO – Has not done much wrong so far and was a winner in class F at Amiens over 2400m on 7 June. Can follow up
  20. MAEVA DES BAUX – Improving and was a winner in class F at Le Touquet over 2600m on 30 August. Can complete her treble
  21. MAJOR DE TIMM – Has some good form and was third in class E at Les Sables-d’Olonne over 2650m on 4 September. Be right there at the finish
  22. MADOVA DU RILER – Only modest of late and finished 6th in class E at Rouen-Mauquenchy over 2150m on 11 September. More is needed to win this race
  23. MERRY STAR – Has only been modest of late and finished 9th in class E at Rouen-Mauquenchy over 2150m on 11 September. Needs to find a few lengths to win
  24. MONDER DU CAPRE – Disqualified in class E at Bernay over 2800m on 31 August. In good form before that but this does look a tougher race
  25. MINNEAPOLIS – Disqualified in class D at Vincennes over 2700m on 13 May. Returns from a break and is likely to need this run
  26. MAFIA RINGEAT – Unreliable but was runner-up in class F at Le Croisé-Laroche over 2825m on 11 September. Capable of an upset
  27. MIDNIGHT SUN – Improving and was a good winner at Solvalla over 2140m on 3 September. Big chance for a hat-trick
  28. MAXIMUS VILLAM – Very consistent so far and was third in class E at Amiens over 2900m on 6 September. Can earn some more money
  29. MAKE FOR JUMP – Has imprioved with each start and was victorious in class F at Compiegne over 2800m on 7 September. Might earn some minor money
  30. MIL REEF – Unreliable and finished 7th in a class D mounted race at Vincennes over 2200m on 8 April. Liely to need this run returning from a break
    Summary: MIDNIGHT SUN (13) has shown promise in Sweden with some good wins and looks the one to beat. MAJOR DE TIMM (7) is improving, was not disgraced at Les Sables-d’Olonne earlier this month, and can be a threat. MORGON D’AVIGNERE (1) was a good winner at Bacqueville-en-Caux over 2550m last month and is not out of it. MAEVA DES BAUX (6) has progressed from a modest debut to win some solid races and could have more to offer.

  32. LUGER – Unreliable but was victorious at Duindigt over 2000m on 6 September. Capable of following up in this line-up
  33. LUC PAASLOO – Not reliable but was a winner at Wolvega over 2600m on 16 August. Tougher task this time but is not out of it
  34. LIPTON TONIC – Has some fair form and was third in class E at Reims over 2550m on 14 September. Might play a minor role at best
  35. LETS GO DE MONCHEL – Disqualified in his last three starts, the latest in class H at Chateauroux over 2900m on 14 September. Remains barefoot but is hard to trust and others make more appeal
  36. LETIKALIN – Not disgraced when fifth in class E at Vincennes over 2100m on 6 September. Better this distance and can bounce back to score
  37. LAIOS DU GOUTIER – Only modest of late and was 6th in class E at Alencon over 2650m on 7 September. Capable of better and could make the frame
  38. L’ALPHA DE LAUNI – Unreliable and finished 8th in class E at Enghien over 2875m on 28 June. Might pop up in a minor place at very best
  39. L’AMIRAL CHATAULT – Unreliable and was third in class F at this track over 2750m on 5 September. Has a place chance in this line-up
  40. LUCIUS DE PUCH – In good shape and was third in class E at Cabourg over 2750m on 29 August. Capable of earning some more money
  41. LABEL MARANCOURT – Very unreliable but was a winner of a claimer at Reims over 2575m on 30 August. Needs to do more to beat these rivals
  42. LUPIN MELOC – Disqualified in class E at Reims over 2550m on 14 September. Capable of better and could earn some minor money
  43. LANSELOD LENN – Much improved since going barefoot and was a winner in class F at Nort-sur-Erdre over 2400m on 7 September. Remains without shoes and can contest the finish
  44. LOZANO – Disqualified in class E at Reims over 2550m on 14 September. Hard to trust but is capable of a surprise when smart
  45. LARGO D’ENFER – Did not show his best when 9th in class F at Lisieux over 2725m on 3 July. Capable of better but has yet to win a race and others make more appeal
  46. LOOK DAIRPET – Unreliable and finished 10th in class F at Rouen-Mauquenchy over 2850m on 11 September. Needs to find a few lengths to win
    Summary: LETIKALIN (6) has already won three times this year and was not disgraced over a shorter distance last time out at Vincennes. He should be a big threat to these rivals. LOVE SUPREME (1) is full of confidence after some good wins this year and can contest the finish again. LUC PAASLOO (3) is another with three wins this year and would not be a surprise winner. LAIOS DU GOUTIER (7) has yet to win a race but can make the frame.

  54. GRYFFONDOR DU POLI – In very good shape and was a winner in a class F harness race at Vincennes over 2850m on 27 August. Not barefoot today but can follow up
  55. HIGH TECH ROC – In good form and was third in a class E harness race at Castéra-Verduzan over 2800m on 18 August. Remains barefoot and can be a threat
    Summary: ISBA DU VIVIER (7) faulted at Enghien in July. She is clearly capable of much better than that and should bounce back to beat these rivals if staying in stride. GITAN DE TOUCHYVON (5) has been very unreliable of late but is quite capable of contesting the finish. HIGH TECH ROC (9) is not fully barefoot and still has to prove herself under the saddle, but she is in good form. HOUSTON DE CUIGNY (6) has been kept to harness for most of his career but could be a threat.

    Summary: JOHNNY DU PONT (4) has improved markedly this year and has won three of his last four starts. He remains barefoot and looks hard to oppose. JEALOUS GIRL (12) was not disgraced at Vincennes and will be a threat once again, though she is at her very best over a shorter distance. JUPITER MADRIK (11) has needed his last two runs and could show significant improvement. JOLIE TEJY (7) has improved of late and could make the frame.

    Summary: KALAMITY DE CHENU (7) was not disgraced at Vincennes earlier this month. She performed well with this shoeing last year and could be ready to strike. KIARA DE JADE (11) won some solid races earlier this year and must be respected. KINOHA D’OURVILLE (8) has been consistent this year and would not be a surprise winner. KETTINA DU CYGNE (10) has not won for some time but is capable of being a threat.

    Summary: KEL COPAIN (2) continues to show progress and was not disgraced at Cabourg last month. He should make a bold bid to beat these rivals. KOBE EIGHT (1) is in good form and should be right there at the finish. KUROKO LAUAR (7) is better than his last run and had performed well with this shoeing in his two starts prior, so he should be a lively danger. KARNO D’ARBAZ (4) does better when barefoot and can get involved in the finish.

    Summary: INDIGO DU PERCHE (11) won some solid races earlier this year and has been knocking hard at the door of late. He can go one better. ITALICA (15) is in a purple patch of form with four wins in a row, and there is no real reason she cannot make it five. ISSI TOP (14) has not won for some time but is holding form and can contest the finish. IDOLE STAR (12) is not reliable but has won twice this year and is another to consider in this lucky last race.

  1. MAGIC DES ROSES – Finished 10th in a Conditions race over 2400m at Moulins on 5 April. Returns from a break following a disappointing debut run and will need to have improved
  2. MASTER’S FUN – Ran 2nd in a Conditions race over 2400m at Granville on 4 August. Fought well against a now two-time winning filly and with Cristian Demuro up, looks the runner to beat.
  3. MASTER VILLE – Ran 4th in a Conditions race over 2400m at Granville on 4 August. Finished not too far behind MASTER’S FUN (2) in that race and as he did have an excuse, he looks the main threat
  4. MADEMOISELLE ROSE – Unraced 2yo filly by Prince Nomad out of Mozart De Beny mare Comete De La Haut trained by Caroline Diaz. First foal of an unraced mare
  5. MERRY WOOD – Fell during a Conditions race over 2400m at Moulins on 17 September. There could be more to come from her following that unfortunate incident
  6. MAGIQUE FLY – Finished 5th in a Conditions race over 2650m at St-Jean De Mont on 17 August. She raced wide coming into the straight and should improve for the experience
  7. MAKALEO – Ran 4th in a Conditions race over 2500m at Saint-Malo on 18 August. She has been disappointing in her three starts but there is room for improvement
  8. MAMAOUTE – Finished 8th in a Group 3 event over 2400m at Vichy on 15 August. Well beaten in that race, as well as her other two races
    Summary: MASTER’S FUN (2) ran an excellent second behind a winning filly and should go one better this time. MASTER VILLE (3) did not finish far behind him in that race and looks to have more room to progress after that experience, especially as that was a somewhat muddled race. MAGIQUE FLY also had excuses for her defeat last time and improvement is expected. (6) MAKALEO (7)is another who should progress on her earlier starts.

The winner of that race went on to claim a Quinté+ in his next start. VENTOSILLA (1) has good experience at this course and despite a poor run last time, he will benefit from the drop in class. MON VIEUX LEON (3) produced a great run considering he was off for a year. KER STORMY (5) is not without claims.

SILGREYPIT (5) ran a fair fifth in a recent Clairefontaine claimer and has stronger form in the book, including a runner-up finish in a Class 2 race in June. BIN ZARAK (4) is another to keep in mind.

He’s capable of securing a sixth career win. LONDON WAY (1) must shoulder top weight but arrives in consistent form and looks a genuine threat. SOIZIYA (10) ran well to finish third at Nancy in early June and appeals as a solid each-way contender. KHELLE TARTARE (7) also merits consideration.
