R1 VINCENNES [L-H]
C1 – PRIX ELLA – 2850m (a2m) – Class D – Harness – EUR € 46,000
- KRALL DE CORDAY – 7th of 12 in a 2725m Pornichet Class D last week and even racing barefoot will have very limited prospects
- KORO DE LA COUR – Made it 2 in a row when successful in a 2700m Graignes Class F 3 weeks ago. Is new to Vincennes and in this company will struggle to make his mark
- KRUNCHY – 2nd of 12 in a 2300m Marseille-Borely Class E on 28 August. Has turned a corner since starting to race in current configuration and will be competitive at the business end of the race
- KEOPS DE JUMILLY – Made up somewhat for Sables-d’Olonne elimination when 4th of 14 in a 2850m Laval Class F in late-August . Cannot be regarded a priority but from the front line can pick up some prizemoney
- KAPORAL DU PONT – Encouraged at Beaupreau but ran 10th of 13 in a 2825m Chartres Class F a fortnight ago and can expect to have few friends
- KILLER DE BEAULIEU – Last but one behind KAPORAL DU PONT (5) in a 2825m Chartres Class F a fortnight ago and can be ruled out
- KADOR JOSSELYN – Useful sort that ran 9th of 10 behind KANDEL DE BEYLEV (9), on re-entry, in a 2100m Class D here 10 days ago and is clearly still in conditioning-mode
- KNOCK OUT – 4th at Enghien before running 2nd of 11 in a 2625m Cherbourg Class E on 18 August. Is new to 2850m over the main track but in current condition looks competitively well in
- KANDEL DE BEYLEV – 5th of 10 finishers in a 2100m Class D here 10 days ago. Starts on 2nd row though and others easier to back
- KOPA D’ARC – Comfortable winner of a 2700m Class D at La Capelle a month back. Made short work of his lone Vincennes start and is easy to like for the double
- KAPLA DEVOL – 4th of 16 in a 3150m Abbeville Class E on 17 August. Has been simply excellent this season and despite the handicap still looks a major player
- KHEOPS AIREMME – Raced well to come 3rd of 16 in a 2850m Feurs Class E 2.5 weeks ago. Consistently gives everything he has and with Gabi Gelormini reining will be no easy touch. Chance
- KISS ME – Last of 14, on return to competition, in a 2850m Feurs Class G on 7 September. Is unlikely to get off the mark but has had time to come back into himself, has decent Vincennes references, and Mathieu Mottier is in the bike
Summary: Winner here during the spring, and victorious at La Capelle last time out, KOPA D’ARC (10) returns to the capital with every chance of confirming. The consistent KHEOPS AIREMME (12) produced a fine effort on his first start following a spell and looks the principal danger. The reinvigorated KRUNCHY (3) is 25m better off however and makes his Vincennes bow with a lot to contribute. KAPLA DEVOL (11) incurs the penalty but he is reunited with Benjamin Rochard who won with him at Cabourg 2 months ago.

C2 – PRIX MASSALIA – 2850m (a2m) – Class E – Harness – EUR € 41,000 - ERGA OMNES PAR – 8th of 10 behind KADECOLE DE GUERRE (7) in a 2700m Class E here 2.5 weeks ago. Has been a write-off in both codes for some time and can be ignored
- KAMELIA VIVANCIERE – 6th of 7 in a 2150m Vichy Class E last Saturday. Francois Lagadeuc in the bike this time but still not an obvious choice
- KIARA MAURICIENNE – Has not been seen out since running close 2nd of 14 in a 3000m Nantes Class E 4 months ago. Has form on re-entry and even racing shod is not to be overlooked
- ETOILE DU OZ – Last but one behind ERGA OMNES PAR (1) in a 2700m monte Class D here early this month. Barefoot this time but is no more than a minor place chance
- KRYSTA DE KERYANN – Encouraged at Les Sables-d’Olonne before finishing 9th of 13 in a 2850m Laval Class E mid-month. Nicolas Bazire back in the bike and deserves to be retained
- ELOISE GAR – Last of 10 behind KADECOLE DE GUERRE (7) in a 2700m Class E here 2.5 weeks ago. Form has been regressing and cannot expect to have many takers
- KADECOLE DE GUERRE – Imposed at Pornichet before just missing out in a 2700m Class E here 2.5 weeks ago. Thrives with Mathieu Mottier who can be justifiably confident of another big performance
- KASA DJANGA – Returns to racing left-handed after galloping early in a 2150m Vichy Class E last weekend. Paul Ploquin gets the nod here and can begin to get her back on track. First 5
- KACHA DE L’ITON – 3rd of 16 in a 2200m Caen Class E last week. Has taken her game up a notch this term and has a reasonable chance of making her debut in the capital a fruitful one
- KIM DE BEAUM – Reassuring 2nd of 12 in a 2850m Laval Class F 3 weeks ago. Takes on a tougher lot this time and is unlikely to repeat
- KALANSKA – 5th of 10 behind KADECOLE DE GUERRE (7) in a 2700m Class E here 2.5 weeks ago. Is plainly in good shape and can play a leading role if Pierre-Yves Verva keeps her focused
- KHALEESI LA VIE – Back racing barefoot after running 6th of 13 in a 2775m Class F at Les Sables-d’Olonne 2 weeks ago, but will have a lot more to find
- KELLE EAU – 5th of 10 in a 2700m Class E here on 1 September. Has won twice in 3 barefoot Vincennes starts and is not to be underestimated
Summary: Revitalised after a change of shoeing, KADECOLE DE GUERRE (7) left a very good impression over 2700m here earlier in the month and the new trip may be just the ticket. 5th to her that day, KALANSKA (11) goes barefoot this time and should prove more competitive. KELLE EAU (13) showed courage here earlier in the month and the fine entry stands her in good stead. KACHA DE L’ITON (9) has made the frame in 3 of her last 4 starts, goes as well left-handed as right- and will be barefoot for her Vincennes bow.

C3 – PRIX ALEXANDRA – 2850m (a2m) – Class D – Harness – EUR € 40,000 - LAIKA DES MARES – Won a turf claimer before being eliminated in a 2800m Langon claimer last Saturday, and comes to Paris with nothing to offer
- LIPA STAR – 11th of 12 in a 2875m Class E Meslay-du-Maine conditioner on 10 September. Races first-time barefoot though and will be expected to finish in the mix
- LEGENDE SEVEN – Starts for the first time since being eliminated in a 2700m Class D here last February. Shoes on and no threat
- LUCKY STAR JIEL – Ran 3rd to LITTLE ITALY (7) here before being unluckily eliminated in a 2700m Class D, also here, a week ago. Is plainly in fine shape though and with application can play an important role
- LADY PRINCESS – Ran 3rd over 2100m here before finishing 8th of 12 in a 2825m Chartres Class B a fortnight ago. Has however previously beaten a number of these and will have her supporters
- LADY DU CHENE – Pleasant 5th of 13 in a 2100m Class D here 2 weeks ago. Is unlikely to create an upset but still has the wherewithal to pick up some prizemoney
- LITTLE ITALY – Easy winner of a 2700m Class E here on 1 September. Alexandre Abrivard in the bike again and will be expecting a similar result
- LA VIVA DE LOU – Complicated but talented filly making first appearance since losing her action in a 2700m Class B here last February. Won on comeback around this time last year and must be taken seriously
- LOUISIANA DU DERBY – Eliminated at Enghien prior to running 7th of 8 behind LAURENE DE BAILLY (10) in a 2700m Class D here 3 weeks ago, and is unlikely to be troubling the judge
- LAURENE DE BAILLY – Showed marked improvement when 3rd of 8 in a 2700m Class D here 3 weeks ago. In somewhat better company this time but with form maintained can still give this a good go
- LOVINA PERRINE – Oddly below-par 8th of 12 behind LADY PRINCESS (5) in a 2875m Enghien Class D on 14 August. Comes here fresh and will be expected to bring the fight to LITTLE ITALY (7)
Summary: Successful over 2700m here early this month, LITTLE ITALY (7) steps up in category but considering how well she won that day, it would be no surprise to see her confirm. LUCKY STAR JIEL (4) ran 3rd to her and with application should again figure prominently, but she will first have to see off the well-engaged LOVINA PERRINE (11) who should not be condemned for her recent effort, and the returning LA VIVA DE LOU (8) who sports front pads for the occasion.

C4 – PRIX AUSTRIA – 2850m (a2m) – Class D – Harness – EUR € 59,000 - GUESS FOUTEAU – 9th of 12 in a 2100m Class D here a fortnight ago. Has references under these conditions and although not a priority is still an interesting outsider
- FUNNY HORSE – 3rd of 9 to FERVENTE (11) in a 2150m Enghien Class E on 7 August. Is not always the most dependable but with form maintained can play a small part
- GAMINE DE RIBEAU – Surprise 3rd of 12 to GOLOSSO DE BRY (14) in a 2875m Enghien Class D on 12 July. Has not been seen out since and is unlikely to spice things up
- GAI LOGIS – Won 3 in a row before running 6th of 9 in a 2925m Cagnes Class D on 18 August. With different tactics could have finished closer and Kristof Depuydt will be eager to put things right
- GRAZIELA D’EL – Eliminated in a 2100m Class D here on 13 September. Has done nothing noteworthy since returning to competition and will struggle to make her presence felt
- FORREST GUMP SET – Put in a fine effort to win a 2575m Agen Class D on 15 September. Has hardly put a foot wrong for past 6 weeks and can double up
- FLAMBEUR DU DIGEON – Pleasantly surprising 5th of 18 in a 2750m Ecommoy Class E late last month. Is confirmed at the venue but would be preferred over the short course
- FRANCO FLEURI – Put in a good showing to run 2nd of 15 in a 2750m Ecommoy Class E mid-month but a repeat seems most improbable
- FALCO DU HAMEL – Unplaced in a 2400m Amiens Class D last Saturday. Disappointing over past 2 months and will have nothing to contribute
- GOELAND DE JANZE – Ran well on re-entry then followed up with 5th of 15 behind FRANCO FLEURI (8) in a 2750m Ecommoy Class E mid-month and despite never having delivered here, still looks a respectable place chance
- FERVENTE – Imposed at Enghien before finishing last but one in a 2700m Class D conditioner at La Capelle on 3 September. Eric Raffin back in the bike though and should prove competitive for a podium place
- FUN LOVER – Imposed late last month but failed to repeat when 5th of 8 in a 2600m Cavaillon Class C last week, and can be passed over
- GIBALDI DE HOUELLE – Sent for a short spell after finishing 8th of 14 behind FALCO DU HAMEL (9) in a 2150m Enghien Class D 2 months ago. Will have freshened up and with the aid of Mathieu Mottier can start to get back in the game
- GOLOSSO DE BRY – Won 2 in a row before faulting early in a 2925m Cagnes Class D on 18 August. Has raced just twice over the main track but in current condition is easy to like for a place in the frame
- GRIZMAN – Started to come good in July but has since los his way, most recently 7th of 9 behind GAI LOGIS (4) in a 2925m Cagnes Class D on 18 August, and will have few friends
- GALINETTE BLEUE – Out of the picture in 2 since imposing across town in July, latterly 12th of 13 in a 2800m Bernay Class E late last month. Benefits from an excellent entry though and will be barefoot this time. First 5
Summary: Like a horse reborn over recent weeks, FORREST GUMP SET (6) won well at Agen mid-month, races barefoot this time, and looks the pick of the field. Damien Bonne will still be mindful of the well-engaged GOLOSSO DE BRY (14) who was denied his hat-trick when eliminated early, and GOELAND DE JANZE (10) who will be fully fit after a pair of return runs. Reliability may not be her strong suit but FERVENTE (11) won at Enghien for Eric Raffin last month and, barefoot again, must be afforded respect. GAI LOGIS (4) was denied the 4-timer last time out but is confirmed at Vincennes and must be considered a player.

C5 – PRIX GAURICUS – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class C – Mounted – EUR € 53,000 - KOMEDIE SOMOLLI – Solid in 3 of last 4 monte starts, latterly 2nd of 9 in a 2175m Class E here 3 weeks ago. Goes barefoot again and with application is unlikely to be far from the action
- KALISTA JIEL – Fine winner at Enghien in early-August before faulting when full of running in a Class D under these conditions on 1 September, and with stride in check this time can finish close
- KIDY D’EPONA – 2nd of 17 in a 2850m Laval Class E mid-month. Seldom lets the side down with Benjamin Rochard riding and in current form is good enough to challenge for a place in the picture
- KACEY BELL – 11th of 13 in a 2850m harness Class D here 3 weeks ago. Eliminated in all 3 monte starts in 2025 and is not a concern
- KETTY ANGOT – Returns to the code after running 8th of 13 in a 2775m Craon harness Class D 2.5 weeks ago. Has decent monte credentials and will be shod to preference
- KAHIA DE LA CROIX – Has done nothing but improve lately, most recently 2nd of 11 in a 2650m Class D at Les Sables-d’Olonne a month ago. Is close to her race and would not be here without a realistic chance of imposing
- KALINE DU JOUR – Unplaced in last 2 under harness, most recently 7th of 13 in a 3000m Chateaubriant Class D on 14 September. Aymeric Thomas never races his horses under the saddle for no reason, and should therefore be taken seriously
- JONQUILLETE CREPIN – 5th of 9 in a 2850m Mauquenchy Class G a fortnight ago, after having lost her action here 10 days earlier, and others easier to back
- JOY DU RIF – Missed out by little for the win on monte debut early last month before running 5th of 13 in a 2775m harness Class E at Les Sables-d’Olonne 2 weeks ago. Eric Raffin in the saddle and must be considered a decent first-5 chance
- MANSKENSTOSEN – Placed in last 2 at home in Sweden, most recently 3rd of 7 over 2140m in Bergsaker late last month. Imposed last time here and will be expected to put on a decent show
Summary: KAHIA DE LA CROIX (6) may not have been seen under the saddle for over 2 years but she gets another crack at it after some solid recent harness performances. Sporting a new configuration, with Alexandre Abrivard back in charge, she is easy to fancy for the win. KALINE DU JOUR (7) has not been firing on all cylinders recently but races unshod-behind and the change of discipline may be just the ticket. KALISTA JIEL (2) has started to come good again and will not go down easily provided Mehdi Lelievre manages to keep her focused. In the frame in both monte starts this season, KIDY D’EPONA (3) will be no pushover.

C6 – GRAND PRIX DE L’U.E.T. – 2100m (a1m1/4) – Class A – Harness – EUR € 60,000 - L’AS DESBOIS – 4th of 11 finishers when preparing for this in a 2750m Class B at Les Sables-d’Olonne 3 weeks ago. Pleased on his sole start over a similar distance and should not disappoint
- LADY DADA – Last but one, on re-entry form a spell, in a 2750m Class B at Les Sables-d’Olonne 3 weeks ago and looks outclassed again
- LOULOU DE MYE – Honourable 6th of 11 finishers in 2850m Gr.1 Criterium des 4 Ans here 2 weeks ago. Goes over any distance and the draw will do his place chances no disservice
- FRANK GIO – Quality element making his first start since running 2nd of 11 in a 2875m Enghien Gr.3 in early-August. Boasts excellent credentials over these shorter trips and can give LOVINO BELLO (7) a run for his money
- LILAS CASTELLE – Returns to racing barefoot after finishing 7th of 9 finishers in a 2700m Gr.2 here late last month. Is no slouch on a good day and with some luck in running can pick up a first-5 cheque
- FELLOW WISE AS – Italian import making first start for new trainer, not having been seen since being eliminated over 2100m in Rome last June, and will be given an easy race
- LOVINO BELLO – 2nd of 11 finishers in 2850m Gr.1 Criterium des 4 Ans 2 weeks ago. Legitimately considered one of the best of his generation and will be off to contest a Gr.1 in Sweden next month if he wins this
- LIGHT MY FIRE – Unplaced in a pair of Gr.2s before being quickly eliminated in Criterium des 4 Ans 2 weeks ago and is unlikely to spring any surprises
Summary: Beaten by little by his stablemate in the Criterium des 4 Ans here a fortnight ago, LOVINO BELLO (7) boasts an excellent record with Eric Raffin who will be determined to get the colt back in the winners’ circle. He will still be justifiably wary of the classy, reconfigured, and Vincennes-loving FRANK GIO (4) who has previously beaten him at the highest level. Useful over these shorter trips, LOULOU DE MYE (3) held his own in the Criterium only to be subsequently disqualified and Romain-Christian Larue will be out to set the record straight. L’AS DESBOIS (1) is in his category here, runs barefoot, and Alexandre Abrivard will be in the bike this time.

C7 – PRIX MAGDALENA – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class B – Harness – EUR € 52,000 - MAERLINE D’AVEL – Just missed out on the hat-trick when 2nd of 12 in a 2875m Meslay-du-Maine Class D on 10 September. Faces a stiffer test this time but has a lot to contribute if she takes to the new profile
- MADINA MESLOISE – 5th of 8 finishers behind MARQUISE DE MAGNY (10) in a monte Class C over track and trip 3.5 weeks ago and will have few, if any, friends
- MORNING PRAYER – Made up for Cabourg performance when dominating a Class D over course and distance late last month. Is plainly a filly for the future and a repeat would be no surprise
- MERYTATON – 5th of 7 finishers in a 2750m Cabourg Class C on 12 August. Comes here fresh but is not about to influence the outcome
- MEDEE DU CONROY – Ran 2nd at Enghien before finishing 7th of 9 in a 2850m Class C over the short course here early this month. With stride in check though could yet make first 5
- MODE DU VALLON – Last of 9 behind MEDEE DU CONROY (5), on comeback, in a 2850m Class C here early this month and will need another outing
- MARIANNA – 2nd in an Enghien Class C before finishing last of 10 behind MALVINA MADRIK (9) in a 2700m Gr.3 here on 23 August. Ability is not in question and is not incapable of making the frame this time
- MIRA DE FROULAY – Winner of all 3 starts to date, latterly a Class C over course and distance in April. Unseen since but Matthieu Abrivard drafted in for the occasion and must be considered a serious proposition
- MALVINA MADRIK – 6th of 10 in a 2700m Gr.3 here on 23 August. Will be more at home in this category and can make this her own
- MARQUISE DE MAGNY – Back under harness after running 2nd of 8 finishers in a monte Class C over track and trip 3.5 weeks ago. Has been knocking at the door but looks more a minor place chance on this occasion
Summary: Back at a more suitable level after failing to impress in a Gr.3 here last month, MALVINA MADRIK (9) can wrap this up if she stays trotting. Mathieu Mottier will still be keeping a keen eye on MAERLINE D’AVEL (1) who makes her metropolitan debut in cracking form, and an otherwise dependable MARIANNA (7) who was outclassed behind Mottier’s filly just over a month ago. MORNING PRAYER (3) lost her maiden status under these conditions a month back and steps up in class with legitimate ambition.

C8 – PRIX BYBLIS – 2200m (a1m1/2) – Class D – Mounted – EUR € 40,000 - MARATHON GREEN – Debuts in the discipline after 3 straight harness eliminations and is not about to create an upset
- MEGABUCKS – Eliminated in last 2, latterly a 2850m Laval Class E 3 weeks ago. Ran close 2nd to Mimi D’Authise at Segre and given the chance will have a lot to offer
- MAXIMUS ORADEL – Looked a very ordinary 7th of 8 finishers in a 2850m Class E, on ridden debut, 3 weeks ago. Mathieu Mottier in the saddle this time though and could well begin to redeem himself
- MAESTRO DES GIRES – 5th of 10 finishers in a 2200m Vichy Class D on 20 September, but is unlikely to improve on that
- MANAPANIS – Eliminated, on return from his break, in a 2625m Saint-Omer harness Class F in early-August. Debuts in the code with Francois Lagadeuc in the irons but others still easier to back
- MAJOR CONQUERANT – Debuted nicely to come 4th of 10 in a 2175m Class D here 2.5 weeks ago. Will have come on for the run and can finish closer
- MAMBO DE LA VALLEE – Eliminated in both since imposing at Cabourg, latterly a 2225m Feurs Class E on 7 September after having got his nose in front. Entrusted to Eric Raffin for first time and can expect significant support
- MICA DE FARCHAT – 2nd at Reims on ridden bow, then eliminated in a 2175m Class D here 2.5 weeks ago. Has already held his own in good company and with application can finish close
- MONTANA BLUE – Got off the mark at Les Sables-d’Olonne before finishing 10th of 12 in a 2850m Laval harness Class E on 15 September. Clearly has ample potential and can impose
- MARVEL DE CRISTAL – 6th of 9 in a 2800m harness claimer at Les Sables-d’Olonne late last month. Has yet to show any particular flair for the monte code and can be passed over
- MILORD DU COJEUL – Eliminated in a 2175m harness Class D here 2.5 weeks ago. Has otherwise been in fine form and will be worth watching first time in the discipline. First 5
Summary: Back under the saddle after freshening up under harness mid-month, MONTANA BLUE (9) is in with a realistic shout of making her Vincennes bow a successful one. MAMBO DE LA VALLEE (7) is the equine personification of complicated but his ability is not in question and can make a big splash if Eric Raffin keeps him trotting from one end of the race to the other. MICA DE FARCHAT (8) has demonstrated significant monte potential and will be dangerous if focused. MEGABUCKS (2) has been deserted by Lady Luck recently but he has bags of ability and with application can go far.

- AMIRAL D’AUMONT – Nice 2nd at this track over 3000m in a handicap last time out on September 2nd. He can get off the mark today
- ALASTOR MAUGREY – Fair 3rd over 2400m in a handicap at Parislongchamp on September 11th on his last run. Others make more appeal
- WAKIF – 7th on his last run, a win before that over 2650m at Chateaubriant on August 21st in a handicap. Needs to be more reliable
- MAYAMAR – Unplaced last time, 3rd previously over 2700m at Le Touquet on July 27th in a maiden race. Makes limited appeal
Summary: AMIRAL D’AUMONT (7) ran a good race when he was second over track and trip in a handicap on September 2nd. He was just beaten that day and can go one place better. SAPODILLA (2) was just over three lengths behind in fourth that day and looks the biggest threat. AZOU (1) has been running credibly recently with two third-place runs, the former over track and trip in June. He warrants respect, as does DANSE ETOILEE (5), who heads the rest.

Summary: NANTIKA (8) makes plenty of appeal in this handicap after a strong runner-up effort at Craon in early September. She gets the nod over ADLAN SENORA (3), who is capable of bouncing back from a recent below-par run. His second at Compiègne in late July was a solid performance, and a repeat of that form would make him a serious contender. AL SKA (4) holds each-way claims, while BRIONA (6), who bounced back to form with a runner-up finish at Clairefontaine last month, also deserves respect.

He’s a leading contender here and is narrowly preferred to CORONADO (6), who was a close second at Parislongchamp, beaten less than a length in a competitive contest. EXCESSIVENESS (3) appeals as a strong each-way option, while DYLAN’S SPIRIT (7) also makes the shortlist and could be involved at the business end.

MOODY DE VIVE (8) is clearly talented and can be right there at the finish once again. MARAVILLA DU METZ (6) has shown ability in her wins but does come with disqualification issues. - KIPHYLE DESBOIS – Ran 4th in a Class A over 2625m at Alencon on 7 September. She looks ideally suited to the conditions and looks the one to beat
Summary: KIPHYLE DESBOIS (10) looked good last time when splitting two decent competitors at Alencon and meets a field that looks well within her compass. However, KARNAC WOOD (9), who unfortunately was disqualified in the Critérium des 5 Ans, drops in class and stands out as the main threat. IENA D’ORGERES (3) will have the services of David Békaert and that needs to be respected. JOJOBA DE QUERAY (5) has been off since June but does have ability and should run well. - LOUP INDIEN – Ran 3rd in a Class C over this course and distance on 19 September. That was a remarkable comeback run after a 95-day layoff and with expected improvement should be hard to beat
Summary: LOUP INDIEN (9) is the only runner who will concede 25m but based on his excellent return after a three-month break it looks unlikely to impede him. LAMBADA TURGOT (4) finished just ahead of him last time but might battle to retain that advantage although does look the main danger. LE MAGICIEN (8), will be out to redeem himself after a losing his last race in the boardroom while LIKELY DU PADOUENG (3) will benefit from racing without shoes.
