He could go one better this time, potentially getting the better of ZELKER (6), who finished fourth over 2400m last time out in September, having previously won over the same distance at Compiègne in June. The slight concern is today’s drop back in trip. FAITHFUL FRIEND (16) shapes as a reliable each-way prospect from the foot of the handicap. OLYA (3) scored over 1600m in 2024 at this track and shouldn’t be discounted. GRECIAN COMET (5) is another with claims and could be in the mix at the finish.

KINGSLAND DE SIMM (11) has already won three times this year, so the last-start disqualification is perhaps best ignored. C1 – PRIX DE PRADELLES – 2875m (a2m) – Class D – Harness – EUR € 40,000
- LADY D’ELFE – Eliminated in a 2100m Vincennes Class E a month ago. Very disappointing this term and can be ruled out
- LAIKA DES MARES – 6th of 10 in a 2850m Vincennes Class D a fortnight ago and would be preferred at a much lower level
- LOUMIA CASTELETS – Quickly lost her action in a Class E over track and trip 10 days ago. Is not devoid of ability though and can pick up a cheque if Benjamin Rochard keeps her trotting
- LADY LOUISE ROCQ – 5th of 10 finishers in a Class E over course and distance late last month. Has otherwise been in excellent shape and while not a priority, can still get a look in
- LASSIE – Versatile sort that was eliminated when full of running in a Class E over course and distance in early-August. Comes here fresh and with Mathieu Mottier at the helm will be afforded every chance
- LATINA JENILOU – Made up for Caen performance when dominating a 2550m Reims Class E 3.5 weeks ago. Similarly shod here but looks more a minor place chance this time
- LINA LA RAVELLE – Last of 7 finishers behind LYA DU VIVIER (8) in a monte Class D over course and distance 12 days ago and is unlikely to create an upset
- LYA DU VIVIER – Back under harness after running 2nd of 12 in a monte Class D over course and distance 12 days ago. Has not once finished out of the frame when applied and Sébastien Ernault will be expecting a big run
- LUTTE IMPERIALE – Made it 2 on the trot when staying on well to win a 3000m Nantes Class E a fortnight ago. Steps up in category but still has the wherewithal to finish close
- LUNE LUMALO – Enjoyed a fine summer but sanctioned in last 2, most recently 29 September race of reference, and must get her house in order
- LOMBARDINA – Serious filly that was eliminated early in a Class E under these conditions 10 days ago. Showed her form though and on good behaviour will not be far from the action
- LUNA KALOUMA – Unplaced in last 2, most recently 6th of 10 finishers, a place behind LADY LOUISE ROCQ (4), in a Class E over track and trip 10 days ago, and has limited prospects
- LEONIE DE L’ECLAIR – Failed to secure the hat-trick when 6th of 11 finishers in a 2700m Vincennes Class D 3 weeks ago. Has a lot going her way here and is in with a realistic shout of imposing
- LILIBETH SMART – Sprang quite the surprise when dominating a 2800m Vichy Class E on 20 September, however a repeat seems most improbable
- LOLA D’OHARA – 12th of 14 in a 2800m Vire Class E on 1 September and is unlikely to improve on that
- LEGEND SMART – Starts for the first time since being eliminated in a 2625m Class B at La Rochelle last April. Is shod to preference for comeback and Gabriele Gelormini has been drafted in for the occasion. Chance
Summary: Winner of 2 in a row before biting off more than she could chew at Vincennes next time, LEONIE DE L’ECLAIR (13) will appreciate moving to a more even track and may just have the edge over the talented, and well-engaged, LEGEND SMART (16) who makes her first appearance for almost 6 months. Difficult to knock when barefoot and focused, LYA DU VIVIER (8) is back under harness after a fine run in the other code here and will be no pushover. LUTTE IMPERIALE (9) is going from strength to strength and makes her Enghien bow with a decent hand to play.

- KEVIVE DE MAIL – Would have finished 5th or 6th in a 2700m Vincennes Class E a month ago had she stayed in stride but still not an obvious choice
- KIBORA BUISSONAY – Eliminated here in August but ran a reassuring 2nd of 13 in a 2700m Class E at La Capelle 2.5 weeks ago. Will not be at 37-1 this time but will not be as competitive either
- KARLA MELODY – Starts for the first time since being eliminated in a 2700m Graignes Class F 2 months ago. Shod for re-entry and best to hold off
- KALINE D’ERPION – Lacklustre last of 13 behind KIBORA BUISSONAY (3) in a 2700m Class E at La Capelle 2.5 weeks ago. Is plainly better than that, is proven here, and is unlikely to be far from the action
- KERIA FLEURY – Ran 2nd at Strasbourg before coming 5th of 13 behind KIBORA BUISSONAY (3) in a 2700m Class E at La Capelle 2.5 weeks ago. Was pulled-up here in August but in current condition is easy to like for a minor place cheque
- KISS ME DUTOLLEM – 4th of 13 behind KIBORA BUISSONAY (3) in a 2700m Class E at La Capelle 2.5 weeks ago. Gabriele Gelormini in the bike this time but others still easier to back
- KIM DE BEAUM – Surprise 2nd at Laval prior to finishing 9th of 13 in a 2850m Vincennes Class E a fortnight back. Not the most courageous of mares though and can be passed over
- KINOU DAB – Reliability not her strong suit but ran 4th of 15 in a 2050m Laval Class E 2 weeks ago. Should be fully fit by now and can challenge for a spot on the podium
- KHALEESI LA VIE – 10th of 13, a place behind KIM DE BEAUM (8), in a 2850m Vincennes Class E a fortnight ago, and is not about to shake things up
- KOMINA – Makes first appearance since coming 4th of 14 in a 2725m Cabourg Class E in early-August. Has been afforded ample time to freshen up and can get straight back in the game
- KHARA DRY – Produced a brace of encouraging efforts before being eliminated in a 2050m Laval Class E 2 weeks ago. In this company however, will struggle to make her mark
- KELLE BELLE JASMA – 4th of 11 in a 2700m Vincennes Class E a month back. Mathieu Mottier in the bike for first time and Laurent Laudren will be expecting to win this
- KANAILLE ROYALE – Quality but complicated mare that lost her action in a 2050m Laval Class E 2 weeks ago. Showed her form that day though and has a lot to offer if applied
- KELIA DES TOUCHES – Made amends for Caen elimination when winning a 2600m Morlaix Class F late last month. Is competitively well in and given the chance can bring the fight to KELLE BELLE JASMA (13)
Summary: On a fine run of form since the spring, at home racing left-handed, and nicely-entered here, KELLE BELLE JASMA (13) is very easy to fancy for the win. Even better-engaged at the limit of earnings, and winner last time out, KELIA DES TOUCHES (15) will be dangerous if applied. KOMINA (11) may not have been seen out for over 2 months but she is a tough nut when relieved of her front shoes. KINOU DAB (9) showed marked improvement at Laval and must be taken more seriously this time.

C3 – PRIX DE SEVRAN – 2150m (a1m1/4) – Class E – Harness – EUR € 41,000 - JOYCE DREAM – Runner-up in last 3 starts, latterly a 2725m Pornichet Class F on 20 September. Has previously won under these conditions and can again compete for the win
- JILANZA DU MOULIN – 7th of 12 behind JAZERANE (3) in a 2850m Laval Class E in mid-September. Preparing for a campaign in the other code and can be passed over
- JAZERANE – Imposed at Caen in early-September before running 3rd of 12 in a 2850m Laval Class E six days later. Pleased on lone Enghien start and is very easy to recommend
- JUNE D’ERABLE – 7th of 15 in a 2725m Lisieux Class E a fortnight ago. Barefoot for the occasion, with David Thomain reining, but still not an obvious choice
- JOADIE WIND – Made short work of a 2825m Class E at Le Croise-Laroche 10 days ago. Sports modified shoeing but can still wrap this up
- JOIE D’AMOUR – Got back in the game at Villedieu-les-Poëles on 14 September when 3rd of 11 in a 2825m Class E. Competitively-shod this time but still not a concern
- JUSTESS VIKING – Encouraged at Le Touquet before running 7th of 16 in a 2850m Vincennes amateurs Class G last week. Breaks wide and is unlikely to have much to offer
- JENUFA – Won 2 of last 3, most recently a 3450m Agon Class F in late-August. Anthony Dollion would have preferred a better draw but still looks a serious proposition
- JAZZY MAKER – Quality element that lost her action in a 2700m Class G at Le Croise-Laroche a month ago. Franck Ouvrie back in the bike and will be one to watch
- JICKY GIRL – Eliminated in a 2650m Carpentras Class F last weekend. Mathieu Mottier in the bike this time but will have too much to do
- JAVA DU PLESSIS – 6th of 16 in a 3100m Class F at Nort-sur-Erdre on 7 September. Is barefoot for the first time at Enghien but chances still limited
- JALAPA DU BUISSON – A write-off all season, latterly last but one behind JOYCE DREAM (1) in a 2725m Pornichet Class F on 20 September, and has no realistic chance
- JUDICIEUSE ZAILER – 8th of 14 when preparing for this in a 2725m Pornichet Class F on 2 September. Has been in fine shape since July and with shoes off this time, can make first 5
- JACOVIA MADRIK – Imposed at Le Croise-Laroche on 8 September but failed to confirm when 10th of 12 to JOADIE WIND (5) in a 2825m Class E at the same venue 10 days ago. Is nicely-engaged though and merits respect
- JALENZA DU BOCAGE – Out of the picture in last 4, most recently 6th of 13 in a 2800m Rambouillet Class F last Sunday. Benjamin Rochard in the bile but others still preferred
Summary: Solid as a rock when barefoot this term, JOADIE WIND (5) trounced the opposition recently and, reconfigured this time can double her money. JOYCE DREAM (1) has been knocking at the door and is unlikely to go down without a fight. Like a horse reborn this year, JENUFA (8) is forced to break wide but is still a legitimate contender. Better-positioned behind the car, JAZERANE (3) must not be underestimated.

C4 – PRIX DE LA PLACE DU CANADA – 2250m (a1m1/2) – Class F – Mounted – EUR € 43,000 - RUSTICO – Eliminated on monte debut in a 2600m Class H at Châlons-en-Champagne 2.5 weeks ago. Faces a stiff test and will have few takers
- ITAC DE PICDOM – Last of 13 in a 2450m Caen Class F on 17 September. Is not easy in the monte code and is not about to influence the outcome
- BLAUER MAX – A model of consistency stepping up in class after running 3rd of 7 over 2300m at home in Mons last week. Imposed under the saddle last month but may find the going a bit tougher this time
- KING CHAOS – Fine sort that ran 4th of 8 finishers in a 2850m Vincennes Class D 3 weeks ago. Should appreciate Enghien profile and in this company looks a decent first-5 chance
- HAWKER TYPOON – Eliminated over 2840m in Mons on 20 September. Failed to deliver in either monte start and is unlikely to have many friends
- IX THE BEST – Eliminated in a 2600m Morlaix harness Class F late last month. Has looked ordinary for some time and is unlikely to spice things up
- IMPERATOR VRIE – A shadow of his former self since returning from a lengthy absence, most recently 9th of 10 behind INDIENNE DE VAL (8) in a 2450m Caen harness Class E on 20 September, and will need to pull his socks up
- INDIENNE DE VAL – Set personal best time when 2nd of 10 in a 2450m Caen harness Class E on 20 September and will have a lot to offer if form transitions
- CORNELIA OP – Last of 8 under harness over 1600m in Follonica on 11 September. Has shown good aptitude for the code and while unlikely to spring any surprises, can still get a look in
- IBIZA DE CONNEE – Eliminated in a 2525m amateurs harness Class H mid-September. Has respectable ridden references but in this category will have too much to do
- IVALO DU BOCAGE – Returns to the discipline after some lacklustre performances, latterly 13th of 15 in a 2100m Vincennes Class D on 12 September. 4 pads fitted but still not a priority
- ISMIR DE L’ORMERIE – Opened his monte account when successful in a 2800m Bernay Class H 2.5 weeks ago. Takes on a tougher lot this time but should nevertheless hold his own
- CLICK STARLIGHT – Back under the saddle after winning a 3100m Class F at Nort-sur-Erdre a month ago. Has taken well to his new vocation and is unlikely to disappoint
- ILCAR QUARTMA – Pleasant 4th of 14 in a 2800m amateurs harness Class H at Villedieu-les-Poëles late last month. Has good speed and with a leading jockey in the irons, can make this his own
- MAKE IT A STAR – Returns to the ridden code after coming 2nd of 16 in a 2725m Lisieux Class E a fortnight back. Benefits from a good entry and will be competitive at the business end of the race
- LEROY BOKO – Has not been seen out since finishing 6th of 11 over 1640m, under harness, in Solvalla last May. Will have been specifically prepared for this however and given the entry, must be considered a player
Summary: Back under the saddle after some decent harness performances, ILCAR QUARTMA (14) reverts to a previous formula, will be ridden by Benjamin Rochard, and can open his monte account. The opposition will likely be led by the useful Swedish LEROY BOKO (16), and the barefoot, Mathieu Mottier-ridden INDIENNE DE VAL (8), both of which debut in the discipline. CLICK STARLIGHT (13) has been going good-guns in both codes lately, sports modified shoeing, and will be expected to play an active role.

C5 – PRIX DE LA PORTE DE CHAMPERRET – 2875m (a2m) – Class R Claiming Amateur Riders – Harness – EUR € 18,000 - JACKPOT D’AXEL – Takes a dip in category and reverts to a different formula after finishing 7th of 16 in a 2725m Pornichet Class F on 20 September. Is not about to get his nose in front but can still get in on the action
- JOKER DE VOUEDE – Eliminated in last 2, most recently a 2800m Compiegne Class D a month ago. Never the easiest to gauge but is not devoid of talent and will have his supporters
- JAVA DE LANGERON – Eliminated in 2 after imposing at Les Sables-d’Olonne, latterly a 2750m Cabourg Class E in late-August. Is plainly in good shape though and the new formula may be just the ticket. Chance
- JUSTICE PROUVEE – Showed improvement when 5th of 16 in a 2750m Cabourg Class D a week back. Is unlikely to take Cabourg by storm though and others easier to back
- JOLIE FLEUR OR – Back to the claiming category after running 8th of 16 in a 2700m Class F at Le Croise-Laroche 10 days ago. Seldom lets the side down at this level and will be competitive for a step on the podium
- JAPPELOUP CARNOIS – Well-beaten last of 12 in a 2850m Vincennes claimer last week. Boasts good form on a more even surface and can begin to put things right
- JACKPOT DES BORDES – Ran 3rd in a Vire claimer before finishing 10th of 12 in a 2850m Vincennes claimer last week. Presents fine Enghien credentials and can figure prominently
- JAVA DES BERTHES – Going well when eliminated in a 2825m Chartres Class F on 12 September. Is new to the claiming division and looks head-and-shoulders better than the opposition
- JOYCE DE LA COUR – Well-beaten in last 2, most recently 8th of 10 finishers in a 2750m Cabourg Class E a week ago, and is unlikely to trouble the judge
- JAMIROQUAI – Has not been seen out since running 6th of 9 in a 2825m Class F at Le Croise-Laroche last May. Has solid claiming credentials but with shoes fitted will not be given a hard race
- JAMES MADRIK – Pleased at Les Andelys before being swiftly eliminated in a 2850m Vincennes claimer last week, and can expect to have few friends
- JUBY DE BAILLY – Eliminated in a 2850m Vincennes claimer late last month. Stays shod and not a concern
- JACK DES MALBERAUX – Faulted in a 3125m Angers Class F on 1 October. Is fitted with pads this time and can be confidently ruled out
- JIGSAW PUZZLE – 9th of 15 in a 3500m Craon Class B 10 days ago. Well-beaten in last 3 and will have nothing to contribute
Summary: Back to a more suitable level after losing her action at Chartres, JAVA DES BERTHES (8) runs barefoot for her Enghien debut and with application can make it a winning one. JAVA DE LANGERON (3) is not the easiest of horses either but has form to back her up, sports a new formula, and will be no easy touch if Max Beauvais keeps her focused. JOLIE FLEUR OR (5) is back in her category and unlikely to let the side down. JACKPOT DES BORDES (7) is better than his Vincennes run would suggest and can be brought back into the fold.

C6 – PRIX DE LA PORTE D’IVRY – 2250m (a1m1/2) – Class E – Mounted – EUR € 35,000 - MARGARITA – Qualified in 1’20″8 at Caen last May. Hails from a top stable and will be worth keeping an eye on
- MUSICA D’OMBLAIS – Qualified in 1’19″6 at Laval on 21 August. Frecelle stable in good form but may just be taking on too much first time out
- MALAGA DU DIGEON – 3rd of 12 on debut in a 2950m Vichy harness Class F mid-June. Has not been seen since and may be a race shy
- MA ROBERTA – Produced career-best performance when 5th of 8 finishers in a 2450m Caen Class E on 20 September, but is out of her depth here
- MELODIE DE PARIS – Eliminated in a 2700m Vincennes Class D on 16 September. Has yet to make good on her promise but it is just a question of time
- MALOUINES QUESNOT – Last but one in a 2600m Morlaix harness Class F on 28 September, and even under the saddle looks to have her work cut out
- MACARENA DE MARZY – Complicated filly that was eliminated in a 2800m Cholet harness Class F late last month and can be confidently disregarded
- MINILADY DE CHOC – 4th of 15 in a 2200m Vincennes Class D on 30 September. Will appreciate Enghien conditions and will not be available at 19-1 this time
- MISS TAVEL – Eliminated on monte debut before finishing last of 8 in a 2725m Evreux harness Class F 11 days ago, and chances slim
- MA BELLE ASSCHADEL – Lost her action in a 2850m Laval Class F a fortnight ago. Is not the easiest of horses to handle but has merit and on good behaviour can make her presence felt
- MAYBE DU CEBE – 4th of 18 behind MALLAURY D’AVEL (13) in a 2850m Laval Class F 2 weeks ago. Has ground to make up but still represents a respectable place prospect
- MISS EVER – Makes ridden bow after finishing 5th of 12 in a 2400m Amiens Class F on 20 September, and is unlikely to generate much interest
- MALLAURY D’AVEL – 3rd of 18, on first start for 3 months, in a 2850m Laval Class F 2 weeks ago. Will have progressed for the run and in this company looks the horse to beat
- MAMZELLE DU HOULET – Debuts under the saddle after getting off the mark in a 2850m Laon Class F 11 days ago. Is unlikely to repeat but with Pierre-Yves Verva in charge again, will be afforded every chance
- MAGGY PAULO – Eliminated in 3 of last 4, most recently a 2150m harness Class E here late last month, and others easier to trust
- MOLLY MADRIK – 8th of 9, on return to competition, in a 3125m Angers harness Class D last week. Makes first public appearance under the saddle and will be expected to put in a good showing
Summary: After a tricky start to her career, MALLAURY D’AVEL (13) went into her summer break on a positive note and picked up where she left off on her recent re-entry. She has been entrusted to Benjamin Rochard for the first time and with application can secure a maiden win. MAYBE DU CEBE (11) showed improvement behind her that day and even though well-beaten, still looks the principal danger. MINILADY DE CHOC (8) held her own across town last week and can again finish in the frame. MOLLY MADRIK (16) switches code for the first time and if race-fit will not be far off the mark.

C7 – PRIX DE MAURON – 2875m (a2m) – Class R Claiming – Harness – EUR € 18,000 - MANZANA – Unexceptional individual that finished last of 13 in a 2150m Mauquenchy Class E a month ago and will have few, if any, friends
- MAZERATI PAJJ – Surprise 3rd of 12 finishers, a place behind MARIA DE VALNY (10), in a 2700m Vincennes claimer on 2 September. A repeat however seems unlikely
- MAGNIFIK BOSDARROS – 4th of 12 in a 2150m Castéra-Verduzan claimer last Monday. Handed a good draw but seems to be taking on too much
- MASSOURY – 8th of 9 finishers in a 2275m Nantes Class D a fortnight ago. Has otherwise shown considerable promise and from the 4-spot can play an important part
- MASSILIO BLOND – Modest 5th of 7 finishers behind MAGNIFIK BOSDARROS (3) in a 2225m Langon claimer on 20 September and can be ruled out
- MILLESIME STAR – Would have finished closer than 4th of 14 to MARIA DE VALNY (10) in a claimer over course and distance mid-August had he been afforded a run. Comes here with freshness on his side and is well-placed to make amends
- MILADY MADRIK – Won a Vire claimer before finishing 10th of 14 behind MACLANDER (8) in a 2100m Vincennes claimer on 30 September. Breaks wide and not an obvious choice
- MACLANDER – Sprang a 34-1 surprise when 5th of 14 in a 2100m Vincennes claimer late last month. Has pulled a tough number but is still capable of making first 5
- MAJOR MESLOIS – Eliminated in a 2725m Lisieux Class B 2 weeks ago. Takes a notable dip in category and has a reasonable chance of making his Enghien debut a winning one
- MARIA DE VALNY – Produced a pair of good claiming performances before finishing a one-paced 6th of 14 in a 2100m Vincennes claimer late last month, and despite the draw can figure prominently
- MILORD D’IRAI – Going well when eliminated in a 2100m Vincennes claimer 9 days ago. Top driver in the bike this time and has a decent chance of setting the record straight
Summary: Dependability may not be his strong suit but MAJOR MESLOIS (9) has better credentials than most here and can win this if Thibaut Dromigny manages to keep him trotting. Already a winner in the claiming category, MILORD D’IRAI (11) was by no means disgraced across town last week and Matthieu Abrivard will not be put off by the draw. MILLESIME STAR (6) has yet to lose his maiden status but always gives his best and was very unlucky last time out. MASSOURY (4) is better than his recent numbers would suggest and must be afforded respect.

C8 – PRIX DE LA SEINE-MARITIME – 2150m (a1m1/4) – Class C – Harness – EUR € 38,000 - NYMPHE D’ELLE – 2nd at La Capelle on debut before running 3rd of 9 in a 2200m Vincennes Class D on 12 September. Starts on the rail but with Matthieu Abrivard reining can play a leading role
- NOUMEA DES BROUETS – Runner-up at Arras in August debut before coming 3rd of 10 in a 2200m Vincennes Class C on 19 September. Unlikely to get her nose in front this time either but can still challenge for a place in the frame
- NEPITA – 3rd over 2250m here before being eliminated in a 2100m Vincennes Class B early last month. Handed a good draw but chances still limited
- NORMA JEANE – 4th of 5 finishers in a 2100m Vincennes Class B on 2 September. Breaks in front but is being aimed too high
- NEWZIRA JOSSELYN – Got off the mark at Cabourg before losing her action in a 2100m Vincennes Class B on 2 September. Would be preferred at a lower level however
- NOUBADARCHE – Courageous 4th of 13 in a Class C under these conditions 10 days ago. Has already lost her maiden tag and can give this a good go
- NESTOLA – 5th of 10 behind NOUMEA DES BROUETS (2) in a 2200m Vincennes Class C on 19 September. Starts on front row and although unlikely to win this, can nevertheless pick up some prizemoney
- NANIKA DU PONT – 6th of 10 behind NOUMEA DES BROUETS (2) in a 2200m Vincennes Class C on 19 September. Could have finished closer had she not faulted and Nicolas Bazire will be keen to put things right
- NEBULEUSE FLIGNY – Pleased at Cabourg on debut prior to coming 5th of 13, a place behind NOUBADARCHE (6), in a Class C under these conditions 10 days ago. Cannot be considered a priority but can play a role if she stays in stride
- NINON DREAM – 2nd at Le Sap before coming 4th of 13 in a 2400m Chateaubriant Class E mid-September. Takes on a much better bunch here and is unlikely to spring any surprises
- NUIT D’IVRESSE JAF – Qualified in 1’18”8 at Grosbois in late-May. Has had time to get back in shape and debuts with a decent hand to play
- NASHVILLE BLUE – Got off the mark at just 2nd time of asking, dominating a 2050m Laval Class F 2 weeks ago. Has significant potential and is easy to fancy for a repeat performance
- NUIT MYSTIC – Eliminated on debut in a 2100m Evreux Class G on 28 September. Qualified well though and with application can make a big splash
Summary: NASHVILLE BLUE (12) made up for being eliminated first time out when easily winning at Laval late last month, and despite a 2nd-line draw still looks capable of doubling up. She will face resistance though from stablemate NUIT MYSTIC (13) whose elimination should not be too hastily-condemned, and NYMPHE D’ELLE (1) who has looked thoroughly professional so far. Breaking beside her, NOUMEA DES BROUETS (2) has looked similarly promising and should take well to the Enghien profile.
