C1 – GRAND PRIX BARON D’ARDEUIL AOC BUZET – 2400m (a1m1/2) – Class D – Harness – EUR € 34,000

  1. JOYCE DELTO – 3rd of 13 in a 2850m Laval Class D on 25 September. Sports a fresh formula, enjoys a superb entry, and in current form can give JOJO TOONS (2) a run for his money
  2. JOJO TOONS – Made short work of a 2450m Caen Class C 11 days ago. Is patently in rude health and is well-placed to confirm
  3. IVRIG VIKING – 5th of 14 when being conditioned for this in a 3125m Angers Class E 3 weeks ago. Trainer could not have hoped for a better spot behind the car and Eric Raffin could yet oblige
  4. DRAGOWSKI – Won a Cabourg Class D before running 4th of 7 in a 3125m Angers monté Class D 3 weeks ago. Was not far off the mark that day and the draw will do his prospects no disservice
  5. MATEO DI QUATTRO – 5th of 12 in a 2750m Angouleme Class E 2.5 weeks ago. Enjoys a good spot behind the car and should prove considerably more competitive this time around
  6. IF I TELL YOU – Got off the mark for new trainer in a 2100m Vincennes claimer a fortnight ago. Breaks in front but takes on a tougher lot here and not an obvious choice
  7. HIMALAYA NARCY – Back under harness after running 3rd of 8 in a 2175m Vincennes monte Class D late last month and is biting off more than she can chew
  8. IDEAL DE JEAN – Last but one when preparing for this in a 2450m Caen Class D on 11 October. Goes barefoot this time but still appears to be out of his depth
  9. DYLAN DOG FONT – 4th of 11 finishers in a 2725m Lisieux Class E late last month. Is unlikely to get his nose in front but is in sufficiently good form to pick up some first-5 prizemoney
  10. JOJOBA DE QUERAY – Oddly below-par 8th of 12 behind MATEO DI QUATTRO (5) in a 2750m Angouleme Class E 2.5 weeks ago. Has never failed to fire here and despite the draw still represents an interesting outsider
  11. FLASH DE LA NOE – 6th of 16 in a 2800m Class E at Castéra-Verduzan 9 days ago and the draw will not aid his plight
  12. HAMIRAL NELSON – Has not been seen out since finishing last of 12 in a 2550m Class E here 2 months ago and seems to have too much to do
  13. JOLIVERT DU GERS – Ran 3rd at Vichy before coming 6th of 13 to JOJO TOONS (2) in a 2450m Caen Class C 11 days ago. Trainer in the bike this time but still cannot be considered a priority
  14. FREEDOM (NOR) – Solid 2nd of 13 in a 2100m Vincennes Class D on 12 September. Pleased on lone appearance here, and has been handed a tough number, but is clearly in shape and must be respected
    Summary: Runner-up in a Gr.3 on turf before flying up at Caen, JOJO TOONS (2) has taken his game to a new level this year, reverts to racing barefoot, and debuts at the venue with a realistic chance of repeating. He will still come under pressure from a reconfigured JOYCE DELTO (1) who ran close to him at Craon, and the Swedish MATEO DI QUATTRO (5) who has hardly put a foot wrong since coming to France. DRAGOWSKI (4) has been acquitting himself well of late and Alexander Abrivard gets the nod this time. IVRIG VIKING (3) has two runs under his belt since moving yards and the engagement of Eric Raffin speaks volumes.

  18. JUST BLESS – 2nd of 15 in a 2575m Agen amateurs Class G on 21 September. In the frame in all 4 amateur starts to date and from the front line can bring the fight to HADES DE SUCE (12)
  19. IMPERIALE DE SYHM – Unexceptional 10th of 13, a place behind IVANHOE DU FIER (6), in a 2575m Agen amateurs Class G earlier this month, and even from the front row still has more to find
  20. IVANHOE DU FIER – Strangely lacklustre 9th of 13 in a 2575m Agen Class G on 5 October. Already twice an amateur winner this year, is nicely-engaged on the front row, and will be expected to put things right
  21. IERONTO – Pleasant 6th of 15 in a 2575m Agen amateurs Class G on 5 October but in this company is unlikely to stir things up
  22. IMPATIENT DU LUPIN – 4th to HADES DE SUCE (12) at Agen before running 7th of 13 in a 2575m amateurs Class G at the same venue earlier this month. On 2nd row and looks a minor place chance at best
  23. HESTIA DES PLAINES – 6th of 14 in a 2625m Agen amateurs Class G on 5 October. Shoes off for the occasion and despite the handicap still looks competitively well in
  24. GALAXIE DU LOISIR – Returns to her category of choice after finishing last but one in a 2425m Montauban Class F on 11 September. Not once out of the first 4 with Camille Langlois in charge and can again make the frame
  25. GARIFAN DE CASTROU – Well-beaten in last 2, latterly 10th of 12 to HADES DE SUCE (12) in a 2575m Agen amateurs Class F on 5 October, and in this company will have too much to do
  26. HADES DE SUCE – Won 8 of last 11 amateur starts, latterly a 2575m Agen Class F on 5 October. Its as tough as they come and can expect to garner the lion’s share of support
    Summary: A wonderful servant in the amateur division, HADES DE SUCE (12) has won 5 of 6 starts at this level here and will not be easy to oppose. JUST BLESS (4) has shown a liking for this category and, barefoot for the occasion, will be no easy touch. GALAXIE DU LOISIR (10) has got back in the game this term and returns to a more reasonable level with a decent hand to play. Barefoot for the first time since March, HESTIA DES PLAINES (9) is worth retaining.

  29. HO MEDOCAIN – Pleasantly surprising 5th of 14 in a 2750m Toulouse harness Class F last Friday. Reverts to a previous formula for return to the code but can expect to have little support
  30. JOSELITO DU VIVIER – Made no bones about opening his monte account at first time of asking, dominating a 3125m Angers Class F 3 weeks ago, and a similar effort would see him repeat
  31. GO FOR BELLAY – 4th of 12, on first start for a year, in a 2650m Bordeaux Class F 10 days ago. Shoes on again, will not be available at 62-1 on this occasion, but cannot be considered a priority either
  32. GUS DES CHAMPS – Pulled-up in a 2800m Auch Class F early last month. Has been afforded time to recalibrate but others still preferred
  33. GAILLARDE QUERAY – 7th of 8 finishers in a 2650m Bordeaux Class D 10 days ago. Presents unexceptional monte credentials and can be passed over
  34. GLYCINA BELLA – Comfortably won a 2850m Laval Class D in mid-September. Goes right-handed this time but still looks a serious player
  35. FEELING BOY – 5th of 8 in a 2800m Langon harness claimer on 20 September. Unseen under the saddle since December 2023 and is not about to rock the boat
  36. HERMES ANGEL – Ran 5th in a Vincennes Gr.2 before coming 3rd of 11 in a 2625m Agen Class D in mid-December. Showed his form that day and will not be sent out at 30-1 this time
  37. NINEPOINTS LASSE – Imposed at Craon before losing his action in a 2625m Agen Class D on 15 September. Starts on 2nd line but has nothing to prove at this level and with application will have his chances
  38. IGO CLEA – In the frame in last 6 starts, latterly 2nd of 11 in a 2850m Vincennes Class D on 18 September. Deserves to be rewarded with victory one of these days but still looks a podium prospect all the same
    Summary: As complicated as he is talented, JOSELITO DU VIVIER (4) stormed up on his recent ridden debut, goes barefoot this time, and from the front row Eric Raffin will be expecting to double up. NINEPOINTS LASSE (11) is not the most serene of horses either, and is 25m worse off, but he excels under the saddle and Alexandre Abrivard will be determined to set the record straight. IGO CLEA (12) has been knocking at the door for some time and even though new to Beaumont-de-Lomagne, will race barefoot and must be afforded respect. GLYCINA BELLA (8) made her monte comeback a winning one and with form maintained will not be far off the mark.

  39. MANZANA ERA – Won over course and distance early this month before coming 2nd of 12 in a 2550m Bordeaux Class C 10 days ago. Faces a stiffer test here but with Mattheiu Abrivard in the bike cannot be ignored
  40. MANHATTAN GABINLEA – Respectable type but has not been seen out since finishing last but one in a 2950m Toulouse Class B on 18 June, and will need the race
  41. MAJOR CHANTEREINE – Eliminated in a 2800m Auch Class D in early-September and in this company will struggle to make his mark
  42. MOOREA DE SAUSSEAU – Quickly eliminated, but nevertheless showed his form, in a 2150m Enghien Class C on 6 October. Leading pro at the helm this time and can play a prominent part provided she stays in stride
  43. MARAVILLA DU METZ – Opened her autumn account at Agen but failed to repeat when eliminated early in a 2950m Toulouse Class B on 26 September. Should appreciate the new profile and with stride in check can play an active role
  44. MERRY CHRISTMAS – 3rd of 6 finishers to MANHATTAN EMGE (11) in a 2950m Toulouse Class B on 19 September. Has ground to make up though and others easier to back
  45. MOODY DE VIVE – Would have finished close had he not been disqualified for interference in a 2950m Toulouse Class B late last month, and can make amends if Cyril Gazengel manages to keep him out of harm’s way
  46. MAURICIEN – Excellent 2nd of 5 finishers to MISTER SOLO (9) in a 2950m Toulouse Class B on 26 September. Will have progressed for the race and Frederic Clozier will be keen to exact revenge
  47. MISTER SOLO – Won a 2950m Toulouse Class B late last month. Has been a thorough professional since his first steps on the track and, already a winner under these conditions, can keep his unbeaten Beaumont record intact
  48. MY LOVE GIO – Flattering 4th of 5th to MISTER SOLO (9) in a 2950m Toulouse Class B on 26 September. Benefits from a good entry though and should not be entirely overlooked
  49. MANHATTAN EMGE – Has won 3 of last 4, latterly on re-entry in a 2950m Toulouse Class B on 19 September. Incurs the penalty but is a progressive colt and will be no soft touch
    Summary: MAURICIEN (8) may not have been seen out since April but he put on a good show in Toulouse last month, finishing runner-up to MISTER SOLO (9) who was making his own re-entry, and having been afforded time to recover, will have come on for the run and could well turn the tables. Alone on the 2nd row, MANHATTAN EMGE (11) flew up on his first start back and, confirmed here, looks a player. MOOREA DE SAUSSEAU (4) has been eliminated in 3 of her last 4 starts but has tonnes of ability and the engagement of Eric Raffin should help to put things right.

  51. JUST LOVE YOU – High-class mare that ran 9th of 12 finishers to HYMNE DU GERS (10) in 3125m Gr.3 Grand Prix Anjou-Maine at Angers 3 weeks ago. Has won numerous times in the day’s configuration and will be dangerous
  52. JUSTIN BOLD – 2nd of 8 in a 2650m Bordeaux Class A 10 days ago. Ability is not in question and if at peak fitness can make this his own
  53. ELVIS DU VALLON – 8th of 11 finishers behind IGUSKI SAUTONNE (1) in 2840m Gr.1 Grand Prix de Wallonie in Mons a month back, and is unlikely to make his presence felt
  54. FULTON – Made it 4 straight sanctions this season when eliminated in 3125m Gr.3 Grand Prix Anjou-Maine at Angers early this month. Here for reasons of conditioning though and can be passed over
  55. JUST A GIGOLO – 7th of 12 finishers, on return from a lengthy break, in 3125m Gr.3 Grand Prix Anjou-Maine at Angers 3 weeks ago. Would be preferred barefoot and best to hold off
  56. GASPAR D’ANGIS – 8th of 12 finishers to HYMNE DU GERS (10) in 3125m Gr.3 Grand Prix Anjou-Maine at Angers 3 weeks ago. Is considerably better than that though and can finish in the mix if given the chance
  57. INO DU LUPIN – Won a Gr.3 in Lyon-Parilly before running 3rd of 8, a place behind JUSTIN BOLD (3), in a 2650m Bordeaux Class A 10 days ago. Is plainly at his best and while unlikely to win this can nevertheless challenge for a place in the frame
  58. JAZZMAN DEBAILLEUL – 6th of 12 finishers to HYMNE DU GERS (10) in 3125m Gr.3 Grand Prix Anjou-Maine at Angers 3 weeks ago. Is no slouch when fully fit but may just be one race shy
  59. HYMNE DU GERS – 23-1 winner of 3125m Gr.3 Grand Prix Anjou-Maine at Angers 3 weeks ago. Will have been kept on the boil and although unlikely to repeat should nevertheless hold his own
    Summary: Still a race shy when tackling the UET Elite Circuit final in Belgium a month ago, IGUSKI SAUTONNE (1) will appreciate the mobile start and can have his day in the sun. Matthieu Abrivard will still be mindful of Prix d’Amerique runner-up JUST LOVE YOU (2) who is competitively-shod following a trio of conditioners, and the reconfigured JUSTIN BOLD (3) who reassured in Bordeaux earlier this month. INO DU LUPIN (8) is hard to knock at present and easy to recommend for a spot in the picture.

  64. LOLA D’AMOUR – Unseen since running 2nd of 9 in a 2950m Toulouse Class B last June. Has bags of ability, and is barefoot for re-entry, but is still going to need the run
  65. LUMIERE DU CHENE – 3rd of 7 in a 2450m Villereal Class C early last month. Is clearly in form but would be preferred barefoot
  66. LA JOIE DE VIVRE – Very good 4th of 7 finishers to LOUP INDIEN (11) in a 2950m Toulouse Class B on 26 September. Is unlikely to win this but a place in the frame is well within her capacity
  67. L’ALASKA SNOW – Eliminated in last 2, latterly a 2950m Toulouse Class B on 26 September. Has yet to deliver at the venue but has been entrusted to Matthieu Abrivard for the occasion and cannot be ruled out
  68. LOVE ME TRUE – Quality filly starting for first time since being eliminated in a 2550m Class C here last May and is unlikely to spice things up
  69. LE MAGICIEN – Oddly below-par 5th of 7 finishers to LOUP INDIEN (11) in a 2950m Toulouse Class B on 26 September. Benefits from a good entry and Manuel Criado will be keen to put things right

  72. LUTIN DE REUX – Last of 11 in a 2850m Vincennes Gr.1 on 13 September. Comes here fresh, is confirmed in the day’s configuration, and looks main danger to LOUP INDIEN (11)
  73. LUCKY SIBEY – Starts for the first time since being eliminated in a Class A under the saddle at Vincennes last April and will have other ambitions
    Summary: Easy winner in Toulouse last month on just his second starts since the summer break, LOUP INDIEN (11) won here as a 3yo and is easy to fancy for the double. He is still up against the reconfigured LUTIN DE REUX (13) who boasts a 75 percent win-rate racing right-handed, and LE MAGICIEN (10) who is 25m better off and more competitively-shod this time around. LA JOIE DE VIVRE (7) reassured behind Franck Marty’s horse last time and must be respected.

  77. ELIXIR DU GILET – Unremarkable individual that ran 9th of 14 in a 2800m Castéra-Verduzan Class E 9 days ago, and can be confidently ruled out
  78. ILTON CASH – 3rd at Cabourg before smartly winning a 2550m Class F here 2.5 weeks ago. Takes on a better lot this time but still has the wherewithal to figure prominently. First 5
  79. JURAE VET – 9th of 15 to IDOLE D’OURVILLE (10) when preparing for this in a 2825m Durtal Class F 10 days ago. Theo Briand in the bike this time and from the front row and can play an important role
  80. IGGY ROCK – 2nd here in late-August before running 4th of 13 in a 2625m Agen Class C in mid-September. Is proven here but still represents no more than a minor place prospect
  81. HERMES DELUSS – 3rd of 13 in a 2100m Feurs Class E a week ago, but has never excelled at Beaumont and is unlikely to spring any surprises
  82. JOLIE DE L’AUMANCE – Has not been seen out since finishing 12th of 13 in a 2800m Auch Class A on 25 August. Seldom disappoints here when barefoot but still faces a tough challenge
  83. IDOLE D’OURVILLE – In the frame in 2 of last 3, most recently 2nd of 15 in a 2825m Durtal Class F 10 days ago. Races reconfigured but others still preferred
  84. IDOLE OF LOVE – Ran 2nd in a Lisieux Gr.3 before coming 4th of 8 in a 2650m Bordeaux Class A on 12 October. Made all here last month and even though giving away 25m can still play a leading part at the business end of affairs
  85. HADES DE L’ITON – Serious type dropping down the category-ladder after coming 4th of 14 in a 2850m Feurs Gr.3 mid-month and in this category should take all the beating
  86. HAPPYJO DE LIGNY – Last of 9 in a 2925m Cagnes Gr.3 on 11 August. Has been off the boil for some time and will have few, if any, friends
    Summary: Denied the 10-timer in a Feurs Gr.3 a week ago, HADES DE L’ITON (12) drops back in class and should be able to run away with this. That said, IDOLE OF LOVE (11) is going good-guns at present and won her Beaumont debut just last month. 25m better off, sporting 4 pads, and reunited with Eric Raffin, GISARO (2) will be no pushover if applied. Also sporting pads following her Durtal conditioner, JURAE VET (6) has a particular liking for the venue and must be taken seriously.

  89. KIANNICK OF NOUIC – 3rd of 7 finishers in a 2950m Toulouse Class C late last month. Theo Briand in the bike this time and should prove competitive for a place on the podium
  90. KRONOS MADRIK – Below-par 7th of 16 in a 2100m Vincennes Class E on 12 September. Has otherwise been in excellent form and is with a realistic shout of imposing
  91. KOWEIT DE CHENU – 9th of 11 when preparing for this in a 2750m Cabourg Class E on 2 October. Is shod to preference and in this category looks the pick of the field
  92. KUEENTRASS – Fine servant making first appearance since winning a 2800m Class E at Castera-Verduzan in late-June. Shoes fitted and not a concern
  93. KAMILLA – In the frame in last 3, latterly 3rd of 9 in a 2200m Lannemezan Class E 2 months ago. Has not been seen since but is barefoot and cannot be ruled out

  96. KING KONG – Had been enjoying a terrific run of form before being eliminated in a 2950m Toulouse Class C on 19 September. Has been reconfigured for the occasion and enjoys a reasonable chance of making first 5
  97. KIR DE KACY – 6th of 11 finishers in a 2800m Auch Class F in early-September and has little going for him here
    Summary: Eric Raffin has booked a number of good horses for this meeting and KOWEIT DE CHENU (5) is a case in point. He has a pair of runs under his belt, boasts solid references in the day’s configuration, and the draw will only work in his favour. Raffin will still be keeping a watchful eye on the wonderfully-consistent KRONOS MADRIK (4) who returns to the provinces with a good hand to play, and KANSAS QUICK (1) who races barefoot for re-entry with Alexandre Abrivard reining. KIANNICK OF NOUIC (3) put in a fine performance last time out and will not be far from the action if still on the boil.

    Summary: Although still a maiden who has had many chances, EN PLEIN AIR (2) is in top form and will try to crack a win. WAKAI GO (5) did not take to the course last time but will perform a lot better on this track and will show vast improvement. Putting in a strong run in the closing stages last time, JESS LIVERMORE (10) make a winning debut for his connections. BAILEYS ILLUSION (6) did not perform well in the soft ground last time.

  50. EAGLE GATE – Win a Claimer over 1100m at Fontainebleau on 17 October. Good effort but takes a jump in class this time

    Summary: MEDITERANNIO (1) was only having her third run and won with authority. She looks to have a bright future and should be followed. He is a progressive type and may have more to come. SILA MIA (6) showed good improvement when second and can go close if confirming that effort.
