Summary: KARNAC WOOD (13) did not dig hard to win his last two starts. He is very effective over right-handed courses and is the one they all have to beat. KENNEDY STREET (8) bounced back to winning form at Enghien last time but needs to improve more in order to come on top today. KRACKER PIYA (6) has been well prepared for this race and is worth a good mention. KASH DES CAILLONS (9) goes well barefoot and cannot be dismissed from the exotic plays.

Summary: JAGUAR DU RIB (5) was a very pleasing winner of his last start at Cabourg and could follow up despite the slight rise in grade. Main rivals include IVANHOE JARZEEN (1), who never saw any of his opponents when winning at La Capelle, and JOBERMAN DU HOME (6), who is expected to improve a lot from his last start on turf. - IDEALE DU CHENE – Has struggled of late and finished 10th in a Group 3 at Angers over 3125m on 1 October. Needs to do more to win this race
Summary: IDEAL DU ROCHER (13) is currently as strong as ever and the way he won at Solvalla in Sweden last time out suggests that he’ll be hard to beat in this valuable contest. EXPRESS D’ARC (1) is up against his older counterparts but he goes very well over the right-handed courses and must have a big chance too. The consistent JET EXPRESS (8) is well entered on the front row and will have his supporters. KELLE BEAUTE (5) could be a value bet in this line-up.

R5 PONT DE VIVAUX [L-H]
C1 – PRIX DE LA PROVENCE – 2650m (a1m1/2) – Class E – Harness – EUR € 27,000
- INDY VET – Confirmed her amateur victory with a Salon Class G a fortnight ago. Has not been in similar shape for over 2 years and will be entrusted to Kevin Devienne for the occasion. Attention
- INDESKAYA BIRD – Spirited mare that imposed here earlier in the year. Has not been seen out for just over 2 months but is barefoot for the occasion and is not about to disappoint
- INIMITABLE – Steps back up in category after 2 respectable amateur efforts. Front shoes off this time but still looks no more than a minor place chance
- INDIGO SIMARDIERE – Not as sharp since placing here during the summer but does run barefoot. Is reunited with Nicolas Ensch who has form with him and should be in a position to give this a good go
- IX THE BEST – Mediocre trotter returning to the provinces after a sanctioned monte effort in Paris. Has done little of note in either code for some time and can be ignored
- IDAHO PAULO – Showed marginal improvement behind INIMITABLE (3) in the amateur category at Carpentras last month. Has been reconfigured but still not an obvious choice
- INTEL – Ran 2nd in 3 of 4 before delivering a solid effort at Hyeres. Remains associated with the in-form Theo Briand and looks a candidate for the podium
- IRMOSA BELLA – Made up for her Salon performance when tenacious 4th here last Wednesday. Is unlikely to cause an upset this time but is well-engaged and will not be sent out a 47-1
- IF DU RIB – Has 3 runs under his belt since the break and latest amateur Vivaux run left a lot to be desired. Disregard
- IPSO SIMARDIERE – Unremarkable type that has done nothing to impress the crowds for some time and is not about to start now
- ICARE FILE – Useful element with solid Vivaux references. Has won here in the day’s configuration and after 2 return runs should not be entirely overlooked
- ILLICO JULRY – Excellent servant in the monte code. Here for a change of scenery and can be passed over
- ISIS DE LA FERME – Eliminated early at Borely after having excelled in previous 3 and debuts for new trainer with a realistic chance of getting straight back down to business
- INFINITY JET – Took advantage of her freshness to run 2nd to a good horse at Borely on 10 October. Has a liking for these conditions and can contest the finish
Summary: ISIS DE LA FERME (13) was quickly eliminated at Borely last time out but has nevertheless been in excellent form and, if applied, can win this over stablemate INFINITY JET (14) who ran 2nd that day. Although both are well-engaged here, they will still have to take on INTEL (7) who makes his Marseille debut in rude health. Also new to the venue, INDY VET (1) comes here on a hat-trick and is easy to like to for a place in the frame.

C2 – PRIX DU COMITE REGIONAL DU TROT – 2650m (a1m1/2) – Class E – Harness – EUR € 28,000 - HOUSTON D’ARIANE – Has been enjoying a decent run of form for past 2.5 months but is being aimed too high this time
- ISENGRINE ABSOLUTE – Serious sort that should not be too hastily-judged for recent results. Makes a lengthy trip to run here and with Theo Briand in the bike can bring home the bacon
- IVAN D’URZY – Has not put a foot out of line for months. Should take well to the new conditions and can bring the fight to ISENGRINE ABSOLUTE (2)
- IZZIE PONCELET – Returns fresh to a track she likes but is 50-50 wins to eliminations. Starts in front and with application will be no pushover
- HEIKO VANCEEN – Back under harness after a lacklustre monte performance down the road. Races shod this time and can be ruled out
- ILLUSTRE SAX – Capable sort but has not raced since July and with shoes fitted will have no possible chance
- GALTON SAINT BAR – Showed improvement in a Salon-de-Provence amateurs event last weekend but still has a lot more to find
- HAMILTON ATOUT – Failed at Hyeres a month ago to confirm his Cavaillon performance, but should not be condemned, and could in fact keep his unbeaten Vivaux record intact
- IVANOVITCH EST LA – Previously a useful sort but has failed to make any impression for some time and is not about to change his ways
- HAPPY D’AIMTE – Back at a track she appreciates after a pair of decent efforts in better company, but with shoes fitted this time will have little to offer
- I AM DES MOTTES – Drops back in category after holding his own in a Parilly Class C early last month. Has never let the side down at Vivaux and despite the handicap must still be retained
- ILLICO DE CASTELLE – Has a pair of runs in him following the summer spell. Boasts excellent Vivaux references and even though forced to incur the penalty is still easy to like for a spot in first 5
- IRIS RIVOISE – Handy mare that got back in the game at Lyon-Parilly a fortnight ago. Has yet to produce the goods at Vivaux, and breaks from the back row, but with form maintained can finish thereabouts
- GAUDI TIT – Has twice failed to confirm Enghien Class D victory. Has been reconfigured, and has form at the venue, but the extra 25m may be just too much
- FUCHSIA DU RIB – 10 years old and still going strong but is shod for re-entry and best to hold off
- GAUCHO DE HOUELLE – Returns to racing barefoot after prepping at Salon last weekend. Is new to the venue and although not a priority can still pick up some prizemoney
Summary: The big-hitters are on the front line here and although unplaced in her last 2, ISENGRINE ABSOLUTE (2) hails from a stable in cracking form and looks the one to beat. She will still come under pressure from Vivaux debutant IVAN D’URZY (3) who has been knocking at the door for some time, and a barefoot IVAN D’URZY (3) who has won 2 of 4 under these conditions. HAMILTON ATOUT (8) is considerably better than his latest result would suggest, won his only start at the venue, and must be taken seriously.
SELECTIONS
ISENGRINE ABSOLUTE (2) – IVAN D’URZY (3) – IZZIE PONCELET (4) – HAMILTON ATOUT (8)
C3 – PRIX DE LA SOCIETE DU TROTTEUR FRANCAIS – 2650m (a1m1/2) – Class F – Harness – EUR € 19,500 - KALIN DU HUTREL – Eliminated in 5 of last 7 starts. Is not devoid of talent, and sports a fresh configuration, but still cannot be considered a player
- KEPLER D’AUVILLIER – Unremarkable type making first appearance since running at Borely last May. Goes barefoot but still not a concern
- KEOPS DU CHATAULT – Not the most dependable of horses, and arguably better on turf, but makes 2nd start for new trainer, has been reconfigured, and it is only a question of time before he comes good
- KID DE GRATTIERES – Makes first appearance following a brief spell. Is better under the saddle and can be ruled out
- KILLER MELOC – On paper, not the most obvious choice, but was in the running for a cheque when eliminated in 17 October race of reference, and Kevin Devienne will be minded to keep him trotting
- KANSAS DE LUBEL – Useful on a good day but most recently a lacklustre 8th behind KALL ME SIXTY ONE (9) here, and would be preferred racing clockwise
- KILLERMAN – Has merit but can prove a handful. Has placed just twice in 7 starts here and even sporting a new formula is unlikely to spring any surprises
- KARLITO SCOTT – Ran 3rd, at 216-1, at Borely before losing his action in Lyon-Parilly. Has yet to deliver at the venue but with Theo Briand at the helm will be afforded every chance
- KALL ME SIXTY ONE – 3rd of 16 in a Class E over course and distance 4 days ago. Is plainly on the way up and should again figure prominently
- KADOR DU DANCING – Failed to live up to expectations when beaten by KARLITO SCOTT (8) at Borely early last month. Has 2 runs in him for new trainer and, considering the entry, looks a live chance
- KOUGAR DE SIMM – Has won 2 of last 3 and although not ideally-engaged, will be reined by Nicolas Ensch and must be respected accordingly
- KING SALTOR – Handy element with decent Vivaux credentials but would be preferred competitively-shod
- KABYLIE DES EDEL – Went close at Lyon-Parilly before prepping at Saint-Galmier. Will be shod to preference and despite the draw can still play a part
- KLEPPER DU LOIR – Won a brace in September but rather disappointing since. Tends to prefer Borely and is not about to cause an upset
- KERVELEAN – Quality element that just recently returned to competition. Stays shod and best to hold off
- KISS THE MOON – Tricky mare but has ample ability. Was going well when eliminated down the road recently but is barefoot this time and with application can impose
Summary: There are a number in contention here and it might just be worth taking a punt on the well-engaged and barefoot KISS THE MOON (16) who is as talented as she is spirited. From the second row she will have to do everything right when faced with KADOR DU DANCING (10) who will have been specifically prepared for this, and the tricky KILLER MELOC (5) who drops back down the category ladder. KALL ME SIXTY ONE (9) gave a good account here on Wednesday and backs up with every chance of making the frame once more.

C4 – PRIX DE REDON – 2650m (a1m1/2) – Class F – Harness – EUR € 17,000 - LOYAL DE DOMPIERRE – Finished 5th, a place behind LEAR DE DOMPIERRE (14), in a 2850m Lyon-Parilly Class F in late-September. Is competitively-shod from the front row again and will not be available at 136-1 this time
- LORD DE MALAC – Modest individual with a most unattractive form-card and can be confidently disregarded
- LARABI CATZ – Produced career-best performance on turf before looking ordinary under the saddle at Parilly 2 weeks ago. Shoes fitted and chance slim
- LYNX DES LOYAUX – Failed to confirm his Feurs performance when eliminated across town a month ago. Starts on the front line and the choice of driver can make all the difference. Chance
- LABEL JULRY – Unexceptional so far this season, failing to place in last 2, and even from the front row will need to find more
- LOTOIS JEC – Finished a distant last of 8 across town in late-September. Stays shod and will have nothing to contribute
- LINGFIELD – Useful gelding but races shod following a brace of eliminations and best to keep one’s powder dry
- LAMTARRA DE VANDEL – Returning to racing barefoot after a pleasant performance at Carpentras a month ago. Is new to the venue but can expect to find this a stiff test
- L’ECU DALAMEDA – Got off the mark at Oraison in late-September. Sports a less-competitive configuration this time and looks a minor place chance at best
- LE POMMEREUX – Not the worst horse here but is difficult to trust and the extra 25m will do him no favours
- LORD DE BAGI – Has struggled over recent months but returns to the venue of his latest success and, barefoot again, should not be far off the mark
- LAMTOTO – Bit off too much at Salon last weekend but has otherwise been in excellent condition. Pleased on sole Vivaux run and can play an active role
- LITCHI JULRY – Comfortable winner at Carpentras last month when first-time barefoot. Takes on a marginally tougher lot this time but should still play a competitive role
- LEAR DE DOMPIERRE – Never far from faulting but otherwise consistently gives his best. Has shown a liking for Vivaux and in this company can return to winning ways
Summary: Enjoying a good entry in terms of earnings, LEAR DE DOMPIERRE (14) drops back to a more reasonable level and, confirmed here, is easy to like for the win. 25m better off, LYNX DES LOYAUX (4) is reunited with Theo Briand who ran 3rd with him at Feurs. Already a winner going left-handed, LITCHI JULRY (13) is barefoot again after imposing at Carpentras and will be dangerous if he takes to the new conditions. LOYAL DE DOMPIERRE (1) finished just behind Quentin Chauve-Laffay’s horse last time out and should not be underestimated.

C5 – PRIX DE MONTOLIVET – 2650m (a1m1/2) – Class F – Harness – EUR € 17,000 - LAIKA JULRY – Modest filly making first appearance for over 2 months. Has looked ordinary so far and is not about to set off any fireworks
- LONELY JULRY – Unremarkable filly that has yet to show much aptitude for the discipline and can be ignored
- LOVELY TIKA – It has taken some time but she has finally started to show some form. Takes on a better bunch this time but from the front row can nevertheless pick up some prizemoney
- LEA DES OUBEAUX – Has picked up this season where she left off last year. Barefoot this time but still not a concern
- LAETICIA VRIE – Lost her maiden status at Tours in early-September before flopping at Evreux 3 weeks later. Top driver at the helm and from the front row can play a leading role
- LADY DU JAS – Beat a number of these at Borely on 17 October. Has already performed for Kevin Devienne and despite the entry can still get in on the action
- LA LIFE – Ran 3rd at Borely, a place behind LADY DU JAS (6). Has climbed the category-ladder nicely and while not a priority can still play an active role
- LUXY DE CRENNES – 3rd to LETOILE AMERICAINE (13) at Salon 2 weeks ago. Has ground to make up but in this configuration can put in a good showing
- LESLEY ARCTIC – Has 2 runs in her since the break but unremarkable 6th in 17 October race of reference. Placed just once in 4 here however and appears to have limited prospects
- LA MOME DUEM – Not the most reliable but put on a good show at Borely a month back and even though shod, still looks competitive for a cheque
- LORCANTA – Encouraged at Ecommoy 6 weeks ago but has twice failed to confirm and is unlikely to trouble the opposition
- LA QUICK – Good 3rd of 11 at Carpentras early last month. Appears to have put her dry patch behind her and looks main threat to LETOILE AMERICAINE (13)
- LETOILE AMERICAINE – Produced a pair of eliminations before dominating a Salon Class F 2 weeks ago. Steps marginally up in category but in current form is easy to fancy for the double
Summary: She may be the richest filly here but LETOILE AMERICAINE (13) is not the most trustworthy. She did however give a reassuringly authoritative account at Salon-de-Provence recently and with stride in check can confirm. Steve Stefano will still be mindful of the reinvigorated and reconfigured LA QUICK (12), and the better-placed LAETICIA VRIE (5) who is both nicely-engaged and entrusted to David Bekaert. 3rd to Stefano’s horse a fortnight ago, LUXY DE CRENNES (8) reverts to a previous formula and can again challenge for a place in the frame.

C6 – PRIX DE LA CAMARGUE – 2650m (a1m1/2) – Class F Amateur Riders – Harness – EUR € 23,000 - JAZZ BUROIS – Had been acquitting himself well before winning a claimer on 6 October. Steps marginally up in category but still has the wherewithal to finish close
- JOLI CHARMEUR – Tricky character sporting 4 pads for the first time, but latest numbers do nothing to inspire confidence
- JET SET CODIE – Ran 3rd in a Salon Class E last weekend. Faces some battle-hardened older horses this time, and races shod, but is not incapable of making first 5
- JERICO BADREC – Pleased on Salon re-entry but took on too much at Borely next time. Ran 4th under these conditions last time here and can finish in the mix once more
- JOSE DU CHERISAY – Put a pair of eliminations behind him when beaten by the smallest of margins over track and trip last Wednesday and backs up with every chance of finishing close
- JUNO JIEL – Will have progressed for his return run on turf 3 weeks ago. Has nothing to prove at this level, won his only barefoot start under these conditions, and cannot be ruled out
- JAIZKIBEL – Made up for his Lisieux blip when imposing at Salon-de-Provence last weekend. On front line again and is in with a realistic shout of repeating
- GALAXY VAUCEENNE – Serious mare with a superb Vivaux record but would be preferred in the amateur division and can be passed over
- HAWK SPEED – Starts for the first time since flopping at Borely in late-August. Has placed just once in 5 Vivaux starts and will have nothing to offer
- JAVA D’ECAJEUL – Good in both codes but better under the saddle. Is here for reasons of conditioning and will have few takers
- HAFFIENOU – Made a lacklustre return to competition here last week. Is confirmed at the venue but is going to need the race and would be preferred barefoot
- FORMIDABLE VOYAGE – Has looked decidedly ordinary in 2025, placing just once at claiming level, and from the 2nd row will struggle to make his presence felt
- ILLICO DU BISET – Has not put a foot wrong for some time. Has already won 8 times this year, went close here in June, and with his stride in check can win another
Summary: Tenacious winner on his first start in the region, JAIZKIBEL (7) sports a new configuration and should be able to wrap this up if he takes to the new profile. He will however be taking on the wonderfully consistent ILLICO DU BISET (13) who is by far the best of the back-row starters. JOSE DU CHERISAY (5) missed out by little here just a few days ago and Francois Tugend will be eager to put things right. Bought out of a claimer early last month, JAZZ BUROIS (1) is unlikely to be far off the mark.

C7 – PRIX DES GARDIANS – 2650m (a1m1/2) – Class E – Harness – EUR € 19,500 - MY BUDDY – Unexceptional sort that has done nothing of note lately and can be passed over
- MISSION ROYALE – Sent for a spell following a solid first term. Has shown decent versatility and makes her Vivaux debut with David Bekaert reining and a realistic chance of getting off the mark
- MONTPELLIER – Has been acquitting himself honourably over recent weeks. Steps up in category but starts in front and is worth keeping an eye on
- MISTER SALTOR – Placed at Carpentras before flopping at Salon 2 weeks ago and in this category will be bringing nothing to the party
- MAGIC JANEIRO – Produced career-best performance 2 weeks ago when 3rd of 12 at Salon-de-Provence. Unlikely to get his nose in front but can make first 5 and will not be available at 104-1 this time
- MICKEY MICHETTUDE – Has not been seen for 5 months. Is preparing to resume monte duties in the near future and can be ruled out
- MADE IN CARLESS – Was not disgraced when 4th of 8 finishers across town on 17 October. Is by no means the sharpest horse here but a repeat of her latest effort would see her get a look in
- MINELLA – Had ample gas in the tank but was never afforded a run at Hyeres early last month. Is plainly a useful filly, has already won for her driver who will be expected to take advantage of the excellent entry. Claim
- MA FELICITE – Moves back to Vivaux following a pair of unexceptional Borely performances. Is proven here but incurs the penalty and is not about to create an upset
- MADISON ATALANTE – Serious type that was quickly eliminated at Salon on comeback. Has the wherewithal to compete at this level but looks to be in need of another run
- MALICE D’OCCAGNES – Honest filly that has yet to prove herself left-handed but has ample talent, will have been prepped for this, and Steve Stefano can be justifiably confident of a competitive run
- MAGIC DOLLAR – Failed to confirm Saint-Galmier success when 5th at Feurs 2.5 weeks ago. On back line here but has ample potential and should logically finish in the money
- MADNESS DOLCE – Quality element being freshened up before continuing his monte campaign and will have nothing to contribute
- MORANE – Starts for the first time since running 3rd over course and distance last June, but always gives her best and can put on a good show. Place chance
- MAMBA DES DURIEZ – Showed decent form during the summer but appears to have lost her way, and would be preferred racing clockwise
- MACARENA D’HOULBEC – Lost her action in a Class B over course and distance last Wednesday. Has some ability but disappointing of late and must first reaffirm her credentials
Summary: A promising future prospect, MINELLA (8) would have finished in the mix last time out had she been afforded a run and Theo Briand will be primed to put things right. MISSION ROYALE (2) has yet to lose her maiden tag but has shown significant promise and even though unseen since August still represents a leading hope. 25m worse off and unraced since June, the good MORANE (14) proved herself here last time out and if sufficiently fit can play a prominent role. MALICE D’OCCAGNES (11) warmed up for this at Salon, is confirmed at this level, and is unlikely to be far off the mark this time.

C8 – PRIX KOENIGSBERG – 2650m (a1m1/2) – Class G Amateur Drivers – Harness – EUR € 6,000 - IDAHODARCHE – Opened his account mid-October after 61 races. Failed to confirm last weekend and while not a priority is still worth keeping an eye on
- JET SET CITY – Gives a good account for the most part although oddly out of sorts at Carpentras on 14 October. Has delivered just once in 11 starts here however and better options available
- ISIS DE REYNALD – Has been acquitting herself well on turf over recent weeks. 52 starts and yet to lose her maiden tag, but is clearly close to her race and should not be underestimated
- INCROYABLE KYRN – Eliminated in 2 after imposing at Carpentras on 4 October. Has imposed once in 6 Vivaux starts and will not be far from the action if he keeps his mind on the job
- JE REVE DE TOI – Has not been seen out since June but has solid references in the professional ranks and if fully fit can finish close
- JARDY DU CYD – Returns to racing shod following a below-par performance at Salon-de-Provence on 20 September. Has previously won here but would be preferred barefoot
- JOYEUX D’OUXY – Reliability not his strong suit but will be expected to show a different side since moving yards. Will be piloted by a talented amateur and deserves to be taken seriously
- IALTA DE BERTRANGE – Showed improvement when 4th at Feurs in early-September. Comes here fresh but is taking on too much this time
- IDYLLE GEMA – Made a fine re-entry at Borely before running 2nd, when shod, to IDAHODARCHE (1) at Carpentras mid-October. Has never delivered here but given the engagement, Gisèle Ambrogio will be expecting to win this
- JOPANI – 11th of 13 on amateur debut at Vincennes on 7 October. Is new to Marseille and from the back line already looks out of his depth
- GRANDIOSO – Well-known in this category but has done nothing noteworthy for some time and the handicap just compounds matters
Summary: As honest a mare as they get, currently in fine shape, and barefoot for the occasion, IDYLLE GEMA (9) benefits from a golden entry here and looks set to take all the beating. JE REVE DE TOI (5) debuts barefoot in the amateur division and will have a lot to contribute if Kassandra Fresneau manages to keep him focused. Sophie Blanchetière partners JOYEUX D’OUXY (7) on his first start for Theo Briand and he sports front pads this time. INCROYABLE KYRN (4) may not be the most dependable of horses but he won at this level early last month, returns to racing barefoot, and with application can make a big splash.
SELECTIONS – IDYLLE GEMA (9) – JE REVE DE TOI (5) – JOYEUX D’OUXY (7) – INCROYABLE KYRN (4)
