    Summary: PARADE BAY (7) is from the Andre Fabre stable, who will have this colt well-tuned for his debut. He is given the vote ahead of TALMAS (2), who looks good on paper and should know what is required on his first outing in public. SAIL ROCK (5) has already been gelded and is out of a mare that won a Listed race over 1000m. He can have a say in proceedings, as can DAMN PRECIOUS (4), who is one to watch in the betting market for any support.

  24. AIGEAS – Won on his sole run over 1300m at Deauville on October 23rd in a conditions race. He will step forward from his debut and warrants respect
  25. MAJOR NEIGH SAYER – Won nicely in a conditions race at Newmarket (UK) over 1400m on October 22nd. She is open to progress and can not be overlooked
  26. MISS DE PANAME – She scored on her third start over 1200m at Saint-Cloud on September 19th in a maiden race. More needed stepping up in class
  27. THORA – Off the mark over 1300m at Chantilly on October 28th in a Class 2 race. Faces a stiff test in a step up in class today
  28. ALARMING – Nice effort to win on her third run over 1400m at Kempton Park (UK) on the artificial surface last time out on October 15th. Looks vulnerable
  29. QUIESCENT – She has won her last three starts, the latter at Newmarket (UK) over 1400m on October 22nd. Improving fast, and she looks like the one to beat
    Summary: QUIESCENT (11) arrives in outstanding form, having completed a hat-trick, the latest success coming over 1400m at Newmarket. She handled soft ground well when winning in September and should cope with any rain that falls. DORZAL (4) looks a major threat after an impressive debut victory by over five lengths at Saint-Cloud in October. MAJOR NEIGH SAYER (7), a Newmarket conditions race winner last month, is another to consider, while GAZI (1) also warrants respect after winning a Class 2 race recently.

  33. GRECIAN STORM – Three solid efforts of late, 3rd on the latter over 2000m in a Listed race at Marseille Borely on October 18th. Can be opposed
  34. AIGLE VAILLANT – Ran well to be 3rd in a Listed race at Nantes on October 15th over 1600m. He is unlikely to trouble the principles
  35. MIDNIGHT GUN – Credible effort to be 2nd at Doncaster (UK) over 1400m in a conditions race on October 24th. In the mix
  36. NIZAM – 5th last time, a win before that over 1600m in a handicap at Deauville on August 28th. More is needed in a better race
  37. CIARAN – Honest performer who has been in the money on all six runs this year, 2nd at Nantes in a Listed race over 1600m on October 15th on the most recent. One to keep safe
  38. DINO – Five good runs this year, the latter a win at Prague (CZE) over 1400m on September 20th. This requires a good deal more in a big jump up in class
  39. TRUST ON – Placed on the last two runs, a win on the most recent over 1600m at this track on October 16th in a Class 2 race. He has work to do to score
  40. SILIUS – Placed 3rd last time over 1600m in a Group 3 race at Deauville on August 10th over 1600m. Hard to rule out
    Summary: NARKEZ (3) seems to be improving with race experience and is unbeaten in two starts this year. The latest success was over 1600m in a Class 2 handicap at this track late last month. He can edge this from NOWRWALK HAVOC (1), who scored at Leopardstown (IRL) in a Listed race on October 19th and makes the trip from Ireland. SILIUS (11) has strong credentials in Pattern races and can not be ruled out. CIARAN (8) is an honest performer who is capable of having a say in proceedings.

    Summary: LORD OF WAR (4) showed some signs of a form return when seventh over 1600m at Parislongchamp. He has returned to a favourable handicap mark and can go close. OLYMPIC MESSAGE (1) has some good form lines this year. Comes off a good second-place finish on this course and is one of the leading contenders. SALALAH (7) finished behind OLYMPIC MESSAGE (1) when third in the race referred to above and there should not be much separating the pair at the finish. HARPER (2) comes from the same form line and can show.

    Summary: MOON CLOUD (16) is lightly raced and has the advantage of freshness on her side, which is always important at this stage of the season. GULYA (11) was an impressive winner in her first start on French soil and there may be plenty more to come from her. CHICA DE CIUDAD (2) has shown good improvement throughout the year and with luck from her wide draw, she should be involved. ALSABA (12) is much better than her last start suggests and on previous form, she will be competitive. Stephane Pasquier does duty.

HUMORESQUE (7) is better than her last run suggests and could be the biggest threat. FIRST DE BRETAGNE (4) showed improvement at Agen-Le-Passage last month and would not be a surprise winner. FUEGO D’IRATY (3) is not reliable but cannot be ruled out.

Runner-up to the selection at Vincennes last month, JUSQUIAME (2) is not one to be underestimated. JOULE DE LA FYE (3) seldom disappoints in this code and can be given consideration too.

MUST DE CAHOT (5) ran a better race than his last placing suggests and is one to monitor under the guidance of Alexandre Abrivard. KEZIO PEJI (13) is back under the saddle after a much needed comeback run under harness and should show plenty of progress. KISQALI (4) can prove a handful but is not short of ability and can spring a surprise.

    Summary: Respectively second and first on 11 September at this very same course, IBRA DE LOU (13) and ICARE DU DOUET (14) are once again well entered and expected to feature prominently. HE STAR DU CALICE (8) is back on song as shows her last success but she has to deal with a tricky outside draw on the front row. Although GYPSIE MAGIQUE (3) was a touch disappointing last time out, she is generally consistent and must be given another chance in a race of this caliber.
