R1 VINCENNES [L-H]
C1 – PRIX CAMPANUS – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class D – Harness – EUR € 46,000
- KITKO DAIRPET – Has failed so far this year to replicate his 2024 form and in current condition already looks outclassed
- KING FROMENTRO – Showed improvement when 3rd of 15 in a 2850m Class D here 3.5 weeks ago. Eliminated in 2 of 3 under these conditions though and represents no more than a minor place chance
- KRUGER DU NORD – Starts for the first time since running 3rd in a 2850m Class D here on 5 September. Is shod to preference for comeback but may just be a race shy
- KOCKTAIL WOOD – Last of 13, on return to competition 2 weeks ago, in a Class C over track and trip. Stays shod and can be ruled out
- KELMEC – Got back in the game at Chartres early this month but still has a lot more to find
- KASH QUICK – Progressive individual making first appearance since July. Stays shod for the occasion though and best to hold off
- KIMI DU DOME – Has thrived this year and is clearly in top condition. Moves up in category and while unlikely to pull off the hat-trick, can nevertheless challenge for a place in first 5
- KASH DES RIOULTS – Useful element that finished ahead of KRACK DESBOIS (14) at Caen on 19 October. Eric Raffin in the bike this time but others still preferred
- KING D’HERMES – Has taken his game to another level since moving yards earlier in the year. Won his last 4 barefoot starts, has a race under his belt since the break, and even though in better company this time, can still play an active role
- KENNEDY FRANCE – Decent, versatile sort that finished last of 17 on re-entry at Caen last month and is going to need another outing
- KING LOOK – Has won 3 of 4 when barefoot, latterly a 2100m Class E with ease here on 12 September. Is still fresh after just 13 starts and looks main threat to KIFF L’OSEILLE (15)
- KNOCK OUT – Drops back to a more reasonable level after being well-beaten in a Class C over course and distance a fortnight ago. Is not a priority but cannot be ruled out either
- KAPLA DEVOL – Ran 4th in a Class D over 2850m here in late-September. Has not always delivered at Vincennes but with form maintained is unlikely to be far off the mark
- KRACK DESBOIS – Imposed at Meslay-du-Maine in September before finishing 5th behind KASH DES RIOULTS (8) in a Caen Class D on 19 October. Mathieu Mottier in the bike again and is unlikely to let the side down
- KIFF L’OSEILLE – Dynamic individual that has never been beaten when barefoot and applied. Set his personal best time 8 days ago under these conditions, enjoys a superb entry, and is eminently capable of confirming
- KAID MARTIN – Useful sort that came into his own here last season. Left a favourable impression in a Challans Class D on re-entry and will have progressed for the race. Place chance
Summary: The exceptional KIFF L’OSEILLE (15) did not miss the mark on his first objective of the winter meeting, and neither did stablemate KING LOOK (11). Both have earned the right to step up in category and there looks to be little between them. Impressive on comeback a month ago, the nicely-entered KAID MARTIN (16) runs barefoot this time and has the wherewithal to finish in the mix, as does KAPLA DEVOL (13) who held his own in good company last time out.

C2 – PRIX FONTENAYTHON 94 – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class E Amateur Riders – Mounted – EUR € 37,000 - JAGUAR DU RIB – Held off JACANA DE BLARY (7) to win at Cabourg before running 4th in a 2875m Argentan Class F 12 days ago. Boasts solid references in the day’s configuration and must not be overlooked
- JAFF DE MESLAY – Well-beaten behind JACANA DE BLARY (7) on comeback across town on 18 October. Has done little of note for some time and will have few friends
- JULIENAS DE VRIE – Given an easy comeback run under harness at Chartres earlier in the month. Won twice here last season, including over 2700m, and with application can confirm
- JINGLE PACA – Non-Runner
- JET COMMANDERIE – Has won 2 of 3 monte starts, latterly a Class F on the Alencon turf on 19 October. Pitted against better this time but still looks competitively well in
- JINGLE DES BROUETS – Had shown signs of encouragement before failing to deliver in Toulouse 2 weeks ago and can be passed over
- JACANA DE BLARY – Encouraged at Enghien last month before losing her action at Le Mont-Saint-Michel recently. Form is not in question though and on better behaviour can get in on the action
- JIPEBE – Has ample ability but has been disappointing in both codes recently and needs to get his house in order
- JOLVIK DE GUEZ – Has a pair of fresheners in him after 8 months off the track. Takes to the monte code for first time and looks thoroughly capable of winning a race of this nature
- JOYAU DE MORTREE – Eliminated on re-entry under harness at Nantes earlier in the month. Ran 2nd under these conditions last winter and can finish close provided Mehdi Lelièvre keeps his charge’s mind on the job
- JAZZ SESSION – Useful mare returning to a code she appreciates after a trio of harness conditioners. Seen just the once at Vincennes but is worth keeping an eye on all the same
- JOSY EXPRESS – Unremarkable mare that has raced just the once in this code. Has been out of sorts lately and others easier to back
- JOTT DU BOCAGE – Excellent during the summer but below-par in last 2. Seldom loses his action though and could pleasantly surprise at the business end of the race
- JADE VENESI – Gave a better account of herself at Machecoul early this month, on just 2nd monte start. Is gradually learning her new trade and can play a part
- JUNE DE RODREY – Could not have asked for a better entry but has been off the boil over recent months and in this company has nothing to offer
Summary: Undeniably talented but never far from faulting, JULIENAS DE VRIE (3) has one race under his belt after a 14 months’ absence, is barefoot for the occasion, and can win this if Agathe Poulain keeps him focused. He will still be up against the hardy JOLVIK DE GUEZ (9) who will be competitively-shod for his monte bow, and JET COMMANDERIE (5) who has taken superbly to the new discipline. Reliability may not be his strong suit but JOYAU DE MORTREE (10) is no slouch when applied and, shod to preference this time, can play a prominent part.

C3 – PRIX CROIX ROUGE FRANCAISE FONTENAY – 2100m (a1m1/4) – Class D – Harness – EUR € 40,000 - LOVER SIXTY ONE – Returns to 2100m after coming 6th behind LEXCELLENT DU METZ (4) in a 2700m Class D here late last month, but others still easier to recommend
- L’INTOUCHABLE – Excellent in 2024 but a shadow of his former self this term and will have nothing to contribute
- LEGOLAS – Sent for a break in early-August when completing the hat-trick at Enghien. Is competitively-shod for comeback and although unlikely to pull off the 4-timer, can nonetheless finish in the mix
- LEXCELLENT DU METZ – Beat a number of these when 4th of 11 finishers in a 2700m Class D here late last month. Benefits from a fine entry and Alexandre Abrivard will be eager to make hay
- LANSKY VALLEE – Encouraged over course and distance in September before losing his action at Caen on 19 October. Would be preferred barefoot but is not incapable of getting a look in
- LORD DE BANVILLE – 7th in 30 October race of reference. Has failed to make the frame in last 6 outings and is not about to start now
- LE POETE BOURBON – Unremarkable colt that seldom makes his presence felt. Has done nothing of note here for some time and can be passed over
- LE RETOUR VRIE – Gives a good account for the most part but eliminated in 2 of last 3. Left a good impression here nonetheless last time out, sports modified shoeing, and can figure prominently if Leo Abrivard keeps him trotting
- LORENZO BERRY – Finished last of 11 behind LEXCELLENT DU METZ (4) in a 2700m Class D here late last month. Is significantly better than that and will be expected to redeem himself and finish in the mix
- LUCIFER DU PONT – Made up for a pair of eliminations when 3rd of 14 in a Chartres Class E 11 days ago. Hind shoes off this time but still has more to find
- LOTHBROCK – Serious sort that is not easy to fault when applied. Will have come on for his Chartres return run and should not be written off
- LOVER JULMA – Made up for September elimination when 2nd of 18 in a 2750m Class B at Les Sables-d’Olonne on 20 October. Eric Raffin back in the bike and can challenge for a place on the podium
- LORD TURGOT – Quickly eliminated here a month back prior to his freshener a fortnight later. Presents solid barefoot credentials and despite the draw can expect the lion’s share of support
- LOBBY MESLOIS – Pleasant 5th of 16 when being conditioned in a 2850m Laval Class B early this month. Hard to knock when barefoot and focused, and will be competitive for the win
Summary: LORD TURGOT (13) is a complicated individual but has bags of talent, returns to racing barefoot after a 2700m conditioner here, and on good behaviour will be the horse to beat. LOBBY MESLOIS (14) showed serious aptitude last winter when barefoot, will be fit by now, and should logically put up considerable resistance. Not always the most reliable of horses, LOVER JULMA (12) gave a reassuringly good account last time out and returns to Vincennes with a good hand to play. A quality element with a brace of return races in him, LORENZO BERRY (9) should not be too hastily condemned for his latest run.

C4 – PRIX DE LA VILLE DE FONTENAY SOUS BOIS – 2100m (a1m1/4) – Class C – Harness – EUR € 53,000 - JIPET DE CREPIN – Fine type from a good yard with 2 runs in him since the summer break. Starts on the inside and has no 2100m references, but has nothing to prove in this category and will have his supporters
- JINGLE LOVER – Unable to confirm Nantes effort when uneasy of stride over 2850m here 10 days ago. Enjoys good speed and from the 2-spot can get in on the action
- DIABEL – Sent for a break mid-June after imposing at Enghien. Picked up in 1’10″6 on comeback when dominating a Class B over course and distance, and is ideally-placed to make a big splash
- JACKMAN – 8th behind JINGLE LOVER (2) over 2850m here 10 days ago. Always gives his best but has never produced the goods over 2100m here and is not about to start now
- JOOST D’OLERON – Not the most fortunate on re-entry here 2.5 weeks ago. Has references at this level but looks to need another outing
- HUMANITY PELLINI – Sprang a 33-1 surprise when 2nd only to a very good horse under these conditions late last month and will not be easy to oppose
- JOUVENCE DE CAREL – Forced to endure traffic problems when 9th to HUMANITY PELLINI (6) over course and distance 2.5 weeks ago. Is not devoid of talent but recent numbers do little to inspire confidence
- JAVANAIS DELO – Has not been seen out since August at Cagnes-sur-Mer. Obviously here for reasons of conditioning and can be ruled out
- DAYAK (ITY) – In the frame in first 2 starts since the layoff before running 5th to HUMANITY PELLINI (6) here late last month. Not ideally-drawn but form is not in question and has a realistic chance of making first five
- KAXIG IN – Has yet to deliver here but held his own in both recent Vincennes starts. Pleasantly surprised in race of reference but a repeat seems most improbable
- HOLGER DANSKE – Fine Scandinavian sort with an enviable strike-rate. Faces a tough test first time here but has a lot going for him and despite the 2nd row draw should not be underestimated
- DEMIDOFF CLA – Well-beaten under these conditions in August before making no impact at Reims on 19 October, and is not about to shake things up
- MAHARINA SUN – Did not enjoy the best of trips when 5th behind DIVA DEL RONCO (14) under these conditions on 10 October. Has been afforded time to get back to her best and the Alexandre Abrivard-factor cannot be ignored
- DIVA DEL RONCO – Last of 15 in 28 October race of reference. Barefoot as she was when placing here earlier that month, but in this company will have her work cut out
- SANDOKAN (SWE) – Serious Swedish raider that failed to deliver on sole Vincennes appearance. Has been handed a tough draw but has otherwise been enjoying a productive run of form for the most part and deserves to be retained
- JOUVENCE SECRETE – Moderate mare starting for first time since late-August. Has nothing to offer when shod in this company
Summary: Most impressive 2nd in a Class C under these conditions 2.5 weeks ago, HUMANITY PELLINI (6) can boast a fine Vincennes record and is ideally-placed to get his nose in front this time. Mathieu Mottier will still be mindful of the classy Italian DIABEL (3) who has won 2 of 4 starts with Eric Raffin, and fine Danish raider HOLGER DANSKE (11) who will be competitively-shod and entrusted to Franck Nivard for his French debut. MAHARINA SUN (13) has applied her Scandinavian form here lately and Alexandre Abrivard gets the nod this time. Reliability may not be his default setting but JINGLE LOVER (2) has decent references over course and distance and must be respected.

C5 – PRIX UNION SPORTIVE DE FONTENAY – 2100m (a1m1/4) – Class D – Harness – EUR € 40,000 - LILI DRY – Made up for early-October blip when 4th of 12 finishers in a 2700m Class B a fortnight ago, goes barefoot for the first time, and will not be available at 35-1 on this occasion
- LUTELLIA MONNERIE – Was not the luckiest when faulting here 2 weeks ago. Is plainly in fine shape and Guillaume Martin will be keen to take advantage of the draw. Place prospect
- LADY POP – Comfortably won a Class D over 2175m here on 21 October. Won over course and distance in the spring, goes well for Eric Raffin, and is unlikely to disappoint
- LOVELY JENILOU – Reassured at Caen but blew up in a 2700m Class D here late last month and is not about to influence the result
- LEMONADE FIZZ – Was clearly defying her odds before being eliminated in race of reference. Handed a good draw and can give this a good go if kept out of harm’s way
- LYANA D’ARC – Ran 6th behind LILI DRY (1) in 2700m race of reference. Excelled in both appearances over 2100m here and will generate some interest
- LOVE ME AGAIN – Ran 2nd but subsequently picked up victory in a 2700m Class D here last weekend. Nicolas Bazire in the bike this time but cannot be considered a priority
- LUCIOLE DU VERTAIN – Returns to a distance she appreciates after finishing 9th in 31 October race of reference. Forced to start wide but is still very much in the picture
- LARA MAKS – Completed the hat-trick in an Enghien Class D on 8 October. Comes here fresh and has the wherewithal to give LAROZE DU GERS (13) a run for her money
- LA DIVA SUPREME – Eliminated in 2 after running 3rd over course and distance on 19 September. Has evident talent but others still easier to trust
- LORENE D’AVEZE – Handy filly making just her 2nd start since the layoff. Has previously won over 2100m here but is likely to be a race shy
- LAST QUEEN – Out of the picture in last 2 starts, latterly trounced in the race of reference, and will have nothing to offer
- LAROZE DU GERS – Quality individual that lost her action when being conditioned here late last month. Won superbly over 2100m here in May and can win again provided she stays trotting
Summary: Even though eliminated almost as often as not, LAROZE DU GERS (13) is by no means short of ability. She has a pair of conditioners under her belt, races barefoot as she was when victorious under these conditions in the spring, and despite the draw, still looks the pick of the field. LARA MAKS (9) will also need to defy the draw in order to pull of the 4-timer. Better-positioned behind the car, LUTELLIA MONNERIE (2) would have finished in the frame late last month had she stayed in stride. LADY POP (3) starts upsides and completing the double is not beyond the realm of possibility.

C6 – PRIX DES RESTAURANTS DU COEUR – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class E – Mounted – EUR € 35,000 - LIEUTENANT COLONEL – Pleasant 2nd in an Alencon harness Class E on comeback on 19 October. Sports 4 pads for the first time but still not a concern
- LUCKY DES SOURCES – Showed signs of encouragement Graignes on 18 October before losing his action at Pornichet a fortnight later, and can be ruled out
- LEGATO – Got off the mark at Amiens in June but has been totally out of the picture since and has no possible chance
- LOVELY ONE – Got off the monte mark at Caen in September. Is better than his latest result would suggest and can bring the fight to LAMIRAL D’ERABLE (14)
- L’AS TEJY – Imposed over 2200m here last winter but has done nothing of note in either code since and can be passed over
- LOUSTIC DES MACE – Capable type making first appearance since running 7th of 14 in an Enghien Class D on 27 September and with shoes fitted can be disregarded
- LABRAX DU SKY – Showed considerable aptitude for the code when 3rd of 18 in a Cabourg Class E 3 weeks ago. Has never delivered here under harness but things are different this time. Chance
- LEOLIO – Courageous 6th in an Enghien harness Class E on 26 October but has yet to show any flair for the ridden code and will have few takers
- LOVER D’AVE – Never far from faulting but has considerable ability. Comes to Paris for the first time, in search of redemption, and on good behaviour will not be going home empty-handed
- LOOPING THONIC – Imposed smartly under harness at Graignes before confirming in Cherbourg early this month. Top jockey in the hot-seat this time and will be competitive for a place on the podium
- L’AMI PRODIGIEUX – Eliminated almost as often as not in the ridden code, but plainly has merit. Has never delivered left-handed but is still worth monitoring
- LUTHER – Complicated element that has produced the goods just twice in 9 monte starts and others easier to trust
- LOVE KILLS – Still somewhat tricky but has turned a corner under harness recently. Sports 4 pads this time and with Eric Raffin back in charge can be assured a competitive ride
- LAMIRAL D’ERABLE – Put on a fine performance when 2nd in a 2850m Lyon-Parilly Class E early last month. Charley Mottier could not have asked for a better entry and with application can wrap this up
Summary: Ideally-engaged at the limit of earnings, and not easy to knock in this branch of the game, LAMIRAL D’ERABLE (14) races barefoot after impressing in Lyon and Mathieu Mottier will be legitimately expecting to impose this time. LOVELY ONE (4) has shown significant aptitude for the discipline and, barefoot for the first time under the saddle, will be no pushover. LABRAX DU SKY (7) did everything asked of him on his ridden debut late last month and should be able to finish thereabouts. A reconfigured LOOPING THONIC (10) tries his hand after winning a brace under harness and with Alexandre Abrivard in the irons, must be considered a player.

C7 – PRIX ASSOCIATION DON DU SANG – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class D – Harness – EUR € 40,000 - MILADY MADRIK – Modest individual with better prospects in the claiming division and can be confidently passed over
- MISS BLACK BERRY – Sent for a break after completing the double in May. Has 2 runs under her belt, is confirmed over 2700m here, and can again finish I’m the mix
- MARIE DI LEONE – Unplaced on re-entry in a 2850m Class C over the inner track 3.5 weeks ago. Alexis Collette in the bike this time but others still preferred
- MUSE DE MONTCEAU – Honest filly that always gives her best but is new to Vincennes and is going to need the race
- MAHIZ DE GUEZ – Has not been seen out since winning a Class D under the saddle at Enghien in mid-August. Will have other ambitions
- MAYOLA VEDAQUAISE – Another talented filly from the Allaire nursery. Caught the eye when 2nd in a Class D over 2175m here a week ago and is not about to let the side down
- MAGGY JENILOU – Showed promise at 2 but has looked very ordinary this year and can be disregarded
- MARINELLA VRIE – Pleasant 4th on main-track bow in September. Gave an encouraging account at Laval earlier in the month and will be expected to contest the finish this time
- MOONLIGHT STAR – Ran 3rd over track and trip before winning a 2875m Enghien Class D a month ago. Unlikely to repeat but in current form is not going to be far off the mark
- MAGIE DE CHAHAINS – Lost her maiden status over 2175m here in September before flopping over the inner track next time. Takes on another good lot here but should prove more competitive on this occasion
- MYSTERY QUEEN – Faces first real objective of the winter after a number of conditioners. Is reunited with Mathieu Mottier and clearly has a claim on the spoils
- MUSIQUE CLASSIQUE – Handy element with potential. Has just one race in him since her break though and makes main-track debut with little to offer
- MOUSKIE DE GUEZ – Opened main-track account 2 weeks ago at first time of asking. JMB not in the bike this time but still looks a serious proposition
Summary: MYSTERY QUEEN (11) is a significantly better filly than recent results would suggest; she presents solid Vincennes credentials and is just preferred to MARINELLA VRIE (8) who has hardly put a foot out of line to date. Well-engaged here, MOUSKIE DE GUEZ (13) has started to come good and Nicolas Bazire will be expecting another big run. MAYOLA VEDAQUAISE (6) left a good impression on her main-track debut and should be suited by this longer trip.

C8 – PRIX OHIO – 2200m (a1m1/2) – Class E – Mounted – EUR € 35,000 - MAMBO FIVE – Has been a write-off in both disciplines since his July debut and can be confidently disregarded
- MANAPANIS – Has shown little aptitude for either harness or monte code and will need to show marked improvement
- MAXIMUS DAIRPET – Showed a different side on ridden bow 10 days ago when 4th of 13 over track and trip. Will have progressed for the run and will have a lot to contribute if Jean-Yann Ricart keeps him trotting
- MUGUET DE MAI – Debuts under the saddle after placing in 2 of last 3 under harness. Faces a stiffer test this time but is not incapable of picking up a cheque
- MALIBU – Proved a point under harness for new trainer early last month. Is made for the monte discipline and would not be here without a realistic chance of imposing
- MAESTRO DES GIRES – 2nd to an exceptional horse here in late-September but failed to confirm when eliminated early over course and distance 10 days ago. Has merit though and a place in first 5 is well within his reach
- MAITRE PAJELO – Has not been seen out since opening his account at Vichy in late-May. Goes left-handed for the first time but hails from a yard going good-guns and must be taken very seriously
- MODJO CHEF – 3rd of 15 in a 2250m Enghien Class E on ridden debut on 8 October. Eric Raffin stays faithful and although not a leading contender can still trot his way onto the podium
- MY SIMON – Has shown decent aptitude for both codes, latterly running 2nd in a Cabourg Class E 3 weeks ago. Pitted against superior horses this time however and cannot be considered more than a minor place chance
- MILTON BROWN – Won 2 on the trot during the spring before being sent for a rest. Lost his action on Vichy comeback on 20 September, however the engagement of Victor Saussaye can put things right
- MILORD DAIRPET – Disappointing in an Enghien Class D on 18 October and would be preferred at a lower level
- MONTANA BLUE – Has demonstrated respectable aptitude for the ridden code, ran 4th to MAESTRO DES GIRES (6) in late-September, but is being aimed too high this time
Summary: Complicated he may be but MALIBU (5) delivered at Alencon on his first start since moving yards and takes to the monte code for the first time with a realistic chance of getting straight down to business. Leading the opposition, MAITRE PAJELO (7) has taken superbly to his new vocation and appears the main danger. MAXIMUS DAIRPET (3) ran an honourable race on his monte bow over the main track, should find these conditions more conducive, and will be no easy touch. Solid at Enghien last month on his maiden monte start, MODJO CHEF (8) is similarly in with a decent shout.

Summary: HEQUILEO JIEL (4) has run well in his only start at this course and his connections are quite happy to make the lengthy journey for him to race in this event. He could have the edge, although HOUSTON D’ARIANE (12) comes off an excellent second and is in top form while HUGOLINE DE BRAYE (7) is likely to benefit from a drop in class and is proven at this course. A change of stables appears to have done the trick for HAMYOT DE BOMO (6).
