R1 VINCENNES [L-H]

C1 – PRIX TRITON – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class D – Harness – EUR € 56,000

  1. JOURNAL INTIME – Won a 2100m Class E here before repeating in a Laval Class D 3 weeks ago. Excels with Matthieu Abrivard and although unlikely to impose can nevertheless finish in the mix
  2. JAGUAR DJOB – Has a pair of runs in him since the summer spell but is far from his spring form and will have little to offer
  3. JAG HAUFOR – Very hard to fault this term when barefoot, latterly running 2nd to JOURNAL INTIME (1) in a 2850m Laval Class D on 1 November. Will struggle to win this but is unlikely to be far off the mark
  4. IRIS INTENSE – Unplaced on re-entry at Le Mont-Saint-Michel recently on first start since December 2024. Stays shod and not a concern
  5. JEDI DES BROUETS – Modest element that has done nothing of note for some time and even racing barefoot has no possible chance
  6. JERICHO DU RIB – Won 2 on the trot before coming 5th behind JABLONSKI (11) in race of reference. Has talent in spades though and, given the chance, can make a big splash
  7. JAGUAR D’OBRET – Placed twice in the provinces before losing his action in an Enghien Class C on 18 October. Goes barefoot, with Eric Raffin reining this time, but looks a minor place prospect at best
  8. IQUEM – Has form in this category but has looked decidedly ordinary for much of the year and is unlikely to shake things up
  9. JANKO HAUFOR – Should not be too hastily-condemned for coming last of 11 behind JABLONSKI (11) here 2.5 weeks ago. Boasts superb references over 2700m here and will be expected to apply the pressure this time
  10. JUPITER DU CORTA – Returns to the harness code after some fine monte performances. Is shod as he was here late last month and could pleasantly surprise
  11. JABLONSKI – In the frame in last 2 and is terrifically-engaged here. Has started to show his 4yo form and should be good enough to get his nose in front this time
Summary: A serious trotter with nothing to prove at this level, JABLONSKI (11) has returned from his lengthy absence in fine condition and has twice gone close recently. JMB gives him another go and looks the pick of the field this time. JANKO HAUFOR (9) did not enjoy the best of trips behind him here recently but Damien Bonne will be out to set the record straight. Enjoying something of a renaissance since starting to race barefoot, JERICHO DU RIB (6) raced better that day than the result would suggest and should prove more competitive this time around. JOURNAL INTIME (1) has never been in better shape and even though in superior company this time, still looks a major player.

    C2 – PRIX FLORENTINA – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class E – Harness – EUR € 41,000
  12. KARAT DEFF – Tricky but talented type returning to Vincennes after returning to competition early last month. Has placed just once in 5 Vincennes appearances but, if given the chance, will not be far from the action
  13. KEZIO JOSSELYN – Won 2 on the trot racing clockwise before failing to deliver behind KREIZ DE PRAT GUEN (7) at Enghien last month. Has previously acquitted himself well here and although not a priority is still worth keeping an eye on
  14. KELLER DE L’ITON – Good, consistent campaigner making first appearance since running 2nd at Reims in mid-September. Shod to preference for re-entry but is being aimed too high
  15. KAIROS DE BOMO – Going well when eliminated in a 2850m Class D here a month ago. Has never delivered over 2700m here but has been reconfigured and in current condition is not to be ignored
  16. KAID FORTUNA – Starts for the first time since 11 September. Hind shoes off for the occasion, with Eric Raffin in the bike, but others still easier to back
  17. KANAK DU BOCAGE – Imposed at Feurs in September but has twice failed to confirm. Front shoes off this time and with Alexandre Abrivard in the bike will be afforded every chance
  18. KREIZ DE PRAT GUEN – Has taken his game to a new level since starting to race barefoot, most recently 3rd in an Enghien Class E in mid-October. Debuts at Vincennes but with Yoann Lebourgeois reining is not to be underestimated
  19. KILLER BOND – Has not got his nose in front for 17 months but has decent references under these conditions and, if fully fit, can play an important role
  20. KELAS – Fine servant with excellent clockwise references but under these conditions has no possible chance
  21. KAPITEN DU MELEUC – Solid during the summer but has since come off the boil and can be confidently ruled out
  22. KEOPS DE JUMILLY – Ran 3rd in a 2850m Class D on Vincennes debut in late-September before winning a Class E at Enghien. Takes on a better lot here but in current condition is still worth keeping an eye on
  23. KING DE CHOISEL – Comfortable winner of a Class E over track and trip before freshening up at Graignes late last month. Has won 3 of 5 when barefoot this term and is expected to add another to his tally
  24. KILLER DE CAHOT – Did not enjoy the best of trips when eliminated in a Laval Class C 3 weeks ago. Has no Vincennes references but will not be far off the mark if he stays in stride
  25. KYSKO DE FAEL – Flattering 3rd of 6 finishers in a monte Class E at Laval 2 weeks ago. Has never disappointed here, and sports a fresh formula, but looks to be out of his depth
  26. KAVANI – 4th over course and distance on 6 October. Seldom disappoints under these conditions and is competitively well in. Place chance
  27. KRISTO STAR – Solid during the summer but out of the picture in last 2. Has yet to produce the goods at Vincennes and is not about to start now
Summary: The wealthier elements appear to have the upper hand here with early-October course-and-distance winner KING DE CHOISEL (12) barefoot and easy to like for a repeat. KILLER DE CAHOT (13) raced better at Laval earlier in the month than the result would suggest and Guillaume Martin will be eager to put things right. Just 300 Euros from elimination, KAVANI (15) was not the luckiest here a fortnight ago but can more than make amends if Mathieu Mottier keeps him out of trouble. KILLER BOND (8) has a pair of runs under his belt, races barefoot for the first time this season, and is unlikely to let the side down.
    SELECTIONS

    C3 – PRIX KERONIS – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class D – Harness – EUR € 40,000
  28. LADY OF DURBUY – Returns to racing barefoot after her Tongres comeback run early this month but in this company will struggle to make her presence felt
  29. LAMBADA TURGOT – 5th, a place behind LOVELY FACE (7), in a Class D over track and trip 2 weeks ago after having being denied a run. Form is not in question and can finish in the mix if Cedric Terry keeps her out of harm’s way
  30. LUTECE D’ELA – Respectable element starting for the first time since placing at Enghien in mid-August and others preferred this time around
  31. LASSIE – Confirmed Enghien success over course and distance on 8 November only to lose the race in the stewards’ room. Mathieu Mottier in the bike this time and looks main threat to LOUANGE CASTELETS (9)
  32. L’ETOILE D’URSIN – Showed promise at 3 but disappointing on the whole since, and even racing barefoot will have few friends
  33. LEONTINE CASH – Returned from her summer break in fine fettle, most recently winning a Class D under these conditions late last month, but in this category will struggle to make her mark
  34. LOVELY FACE – 4th of 9 finishers, on comeback, in 8 November race of reference. Will have progressed for the race and can repeat
  35. LYRA POTERIE – Complicated but talented filly that would have finished close under these conditions 2 weeks ago had she not endured traffic woes, and Yoann Lebourgeois will be determined to set the record straight
  36. LOUANGE CASTELETS – Serious sort that has taken no time showing her form following a lengthy layoff. Faces first objective of the winter and looks primed for success
  37. LATINA QUICK – Capable filly making her first appearance since faulting at Enghien in March. Will have come on during her layoff and with shoes off for re-entry will be worth monitoring
  38. LINOTTE DU MOUCHEL – Unremarkable filly making first appearance since late-July. Tends to prefer a shorter trip and can be passed over
  39. LOVELY GODIVA – Surprise winner of a Class D over course and distance in September before failing to impress across town early last month, and is not about to create an upset
  40. LOLA D’OHARA – Placed at Enghien and over 2175m here before running 4th of 16 in a Nantes Class B early this month. Takes on a better lot this time and represents no more than minor place prospect
  41. LADY STARLIGHT – Like a horse reborn since starting to run barefoot. Has not raced for 4 months but has shoes off for the occasion and Anthony Barrier will be keen to take advantage of the good entry
  42. LONG LEGEND – Has looked decidedly ordinary since the summer and even though reconfigured still has nothing to offer
Summary: A lightly-raced filly, LOUANGE CASTELETS (9) showed significant talent last season, has been quick to pick up where she left off and, barefoot for the first time, can open her 2025 account. Eric Raffin will still want to be wary of the reinvigorated LASSIE (4) who should not be too hastily-judged for being eliminated here a fortnight back. 5th that day after having pleased at Cabourg, LAMBADA TURGOT (2) has a decent chance of making the frame this time, as will LYRA POTERIE (8) who is clearly in excellent shape.
    SELECTIONS

    C4 – PRIX OSTARA – 2100m (a1m1/4) – Class C – Harness – EUR € 53,000
  43. KUEEN’S PRIDE – Won 6 of last 7 starts, most recently at Châtelaillon. Is still behind in earnings and has a realistic chance of imposing
  44. KASSYA – Twice a winner here last winter but has done little of note over recent months and even racing barefoot will have her work cut out
  45. KANDIE D’ORCO – Back to the capital after being well-beaten in a Class A at Lyon-Parilly. Enjoys a good draw but little else
  46. KOMERE DE CORDAY – Made short work of a 2850m Class C here on 10 October before coming competitive 4th in a Laval Class C 3 weeks ago. Benefits from a terrific draw and Mathieu Mottier will be eager to make hay
  47. KIKA JOSSELYN – Won 2 in a row last winter before being put away. Has a race under her belt and, shod to preference and nicely-drawn, is not to be underestimated
  48. KNITULIA – Left a good impression in a Class B over 2700m here on 17 October prior to pleasing at Saint-Malo 3 weeks ago. Starts in front, imposed under these conditions during the spring, and must be respected
  49. KALINE DE VIVOIN – Put a trio of eliminations behind her to trounce the opposition in a 2700m Class C here on 4 November. Is barefoot this time and will have this in the bag if Eric Raffin keeps her mind on the job
  50. KANAKA DE BUSSET – Got back in the game when runner-up to KALINE DE VIVOIN (7) in a 2700m Class D here 2.5 weeks ago. A repeat, however, seems unlikely
  51. KORALIA DE CROUAY – Made up for October run here when 2nd to KUEEN’S PRIDE (1) in a Châtelaillon Class D earlier in the month. Cannot be considered a priority, and is drawn wide, but can still get a look in
  52. KALINKA DU GRENAT – Imposed over course and distance in August but has failed to impress in 3 starts since and can be confidently passed over
  53. KELLE CLASS – Started to come good late-summer but has since come off the boil and even with shoes off will have little to contribute
  54. KRAKANTE – 2nd to KOMERE DE CORDAY (4) here on 10 October before failing to fire over 2700m. Reverts to her preferred configuration and even from the 2nd line can redeem herself
  55. KLASSICA BLEUE – Won 2 of 3 before losing her action in a 2700m Class C here on 4 November. Imposed over course and distance 5 weeks earlier and will have her chances if her driver successfully negotiates the start
Summary: It took time and patience but KALINE DE VIVOIN (7) more than made amends for a series of eliminations when dominating a Class C here 2.5 weeks ago. She goes barefoot this time and with application should logically repeat. KLASSICA BLEUE (13) would have been competitive that day had she kept trotting but Alexandre Abrivard will be mindful to keep her focused. KOMERE DE CORDAY (4) won comfortably over longer here last month and the engagement of Mathieu Mottier will only enhance her already good prospects. Simply dynamic when barefoot, KUEEN’S PRIDE (1) is new to Vincennes but has demonstrated good versatility and must be considered a serious proposition. KNITULIA (6) has been lurking over recent months and can finish in the mix.
    SELECTIONS

    C5 – PRIX VICTORIA – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class D – Mounted – EUR € 46,000
  56. KARTING BOY – Has pleased for the most part since returning to the discipline. Won under these conditions at 3, sports a new formula, but is not a major concern
  57. KORINTO BELLO – Opened his monte account on 7 October when dominating a Class D over course and distance. Mathieu Mottier stays faithful and will have KHEOPS TURGOT (12) in his crosshairs. Chance
  58. KEPHYR D’ESTE – Serious type starting for the first time since February. Presents fine course-and-distance credentials but may just be a race shy
  59. KENYAN BLUES – Valiant 3rd to KORINTO BELLO (2) in a Class D over course and distance on 7 October, before flopping here later in the month. In the frame in both starts with his jockey and can challenge for a place in the picture
  60. KAVALO BELLO – Back under the saddle after running 3rd in a harness Class E under these conditions a fortnight ago. Has no monte references but François Lagadeuc knows him and should be taken seriously
  61. KAIROUAN GLAM – Comfortable winner at Enghien in September on return to the discipline. Guillaume Martin back aboard following a harness freshener, goes unshod behind, and with application can finish close
  62. KEPI ROUGE – Capable type returning to the venue after being conditioned at Nantes. Is barefoot for the occasion but others still easier to back
  63. KRONOS DE VANDEL – Well-beaten in a Gr.2 here on 10 October before losing her action in a Class C 3 weeks later. Is no slouch when focused though and is worth retaining for a first-5 payout
  64. KING DE PLAY – Failed to confirm Laval victory when trounced in a Class C here 2 months ago, and can expect to have few takers
  65. KEY BISCAYNE – Returns to the ridden code after some lacklustre harness conditioners and appears to have no realistic chance
  66. KANSAS QUESNOT – Finished last of 6 in a Gr.2 here before running lacklustre 8th of 11 in a harness conditioner at Le Croise-Laroche 2 weeks ago, and is not about to influence the result
  67. KHEOPS TURGOT – Left quite the impression last June when storming up in a similar event here. Has a pair of runs under his belt and Alexandre Abrivard can be confident of a big run
Summary: Put away after winning his monte debut over course and distance last June, the well-engaged KHEOPS TURGOT (12) is shod as he was that day, reunited with Alexandre Abrivard, and is just marginally preferred to KORINTO BELLO (2) who won unopposed here in early-October. KAIROUAN GLAM (6) has something of a love-hate relationship with Vincennes but showed his form at Enghien on his penultimate start, and will be reconfigured for the occasion. KENYAN BLUES (4) is never the easiest to gauge but he has never failed to deliver for Eric Raffin and, barefoot this time, must be regarded a player.

    C6 – PRIX HERMANTARIA – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class A – Harness – EUR € 62,000
  68. MY NAME IS BOND – Has done nothing noteworthy since the spring and latest Reims performance does nothing to inspire confidence
  69. MIRAKALU MANAZIF – Has won 3 of last 4, most recently a 2100m Class C in early-October. Comes here fresh and has a realistic chance of contesting the finish
  70. MODERN STYLE – Has gone from strength to strength recently, latterly 2nd in a 2175m Class B here 2 weeks ago. Has bags of untapped potential and can go far
  71. MISTER CHARLY – Has not put a foot wrong since returning to competition, latterly a place behind MODERN STYLE (3) in a Class B here a fortnight ago, and can again challenge for a place on the podium
  72. MONEY CASH – Clearly capable but has shown better aptitude for the inner course and his recent Nantes run did nothing to reassure
  73. MAESTRO DU CHOQUEL – Imposed over the inner track in September before running 4th in a Class A over track and trip in mid-October. Is clearly at the top of his game and looks a respectable first-5 prospect
  74. MACHIAVEL BOURBON – Quality future prospect that is clearly close to his first success of the winter meeting. Will not have Mister Dream Ty to contend with this time and can expect the lion’s share of support
  75. MANASLU – Talented colt making first appearance since July. Is clearly in conditioning-mode though and is unlikely to trouble the judge
Summary: A good race in prospect despite the small number of runners, however most of the money will still be aimed at the fine MACHIAVEL BOURBON (7) who makes his much-awaited Vincennes bow with every chance of making it a successful one. Eric Raffin will be justifiably concerned though by MIRAKALU MANAZIF (2) who opened his Vincennes account in good order early last month. MODERN STYLE (3) has done nothing but improve lately, has shown a liking for the main track, and steps up in category with a good hand to play.

    C7 – PRIX EURYNOME – 2100m (a1m1/4) – Class C – Harness – EUR € 38,000
  76. NOSTRA COSA – Easily imposed at Cabourg before coming 5th here last week. Would have made a bigger impact had she not faulted and David Thomain will be eager to put things right. Chance
  77. NORMA JEANE – Surprise 4th of 11 in a 2850m Class D here 8 days ago. Will not be sent out at 116-1 this time, but will not be as competitive either
  78. NOUMBA AS – Unexceptional in 2 starts to date and is not about to take advantage of the good draw. Disregard
  79. NESPERA – Comfortable winner of both starts to date. Has yet to be properly tested and despite the presence of some better horses, still looks the one to beat
  80. NATURALLY STAR – Set off no fireworks in qualification but imposed on debut 3 weeks ago, easily securing a 2625m Cherbourg Class F. At this level however, may just be taking on too much
  81. NOLITA MADRIK – Ran 2nd at Cabourg before coming 3rd of 7 in a 2200m Class B here 2.5 weeks ago. Takes a dip in category and is unlikely to disappoint. Place chance
  82. NOT FOR FUN – Nicely-related filly that was never pushed when successful 10 days ago in a Chateaubriant Class E first time out. Will have come on for the race and should again prove competitive at the business end of affairs
  83. NOVA TURGOT – Qualified respectably in August and made good on her promise first time out, winning a Class F at Le Mont-Saint-Michel late last month. Is in better company this time but should nevertheless hold her own
  84. NACHYMA BERRY – Pleased on her turf debut on 19 October before enduring a tough trip behind NOSTRA COSA (1) here 8 days ago. Is plainly better than that and despite the draw will be expected to get back in the game. First 5
  85. NORDIC GIRL – Eliminated in all 4 starts to date and debuts at Vincennes with limited prospects
Summary: Winner first time out during the summer, NESPERA (4) went on to easily confirm at Caen last month and is ideally-positioned to keep her undefeated record intact. She will still be up against Philippe Allaire’s promising NOSTRA COSA (1) who would have finished closer here last week had she got off on the right foot. NOT FOR FUN (7) did everything expected of her at the first time of asking and even though drawn wide still looks capable of trotting her way into the picture. NOLITA MADRIK (6) is unlikely to lose her maiden status but she has shown considerable potential and will generate interest.

    C8 – PRIX LEONA – 2850m (a2m) – Class B – Mounted – EUR € 52,000
  86. LOUVE ANGEL – Eliminated in a 2175m Class D here on 4 November. Has form here and although unlikely to impose, can nevertheless pick up a first-5 cheque
  87. LAREINE D’OURVILLE – Has yet to impress since returning from her break, latterly losing her action in a Class D here on 4 November, and can expect to have little support in the markets
  88. LUCIFER D’ORPHEE – Quality trotter but has not raced since early-August. Goes shod for re-entry and best to hold off
  89. LEMON FLEURY – Fine dual-discipline colt that has taken to the ridden game like a duck to water. Imposed in 1’10″5 here earlier in the month and will take all the beating
  90. LE PRIEURE – Superb winner of a 2175m Class C here on 7 October. Has been afforded ample time to get back in shape and, barefoot again, is not incapable of repeating
  91. LE VOYOU D’ALMO – Well-regarded but erratic colt starting for the first time since late-May. Shoes fitted and not a priority
  92. LAFOLLY DELO – Returned from her break in excellent form. Not beaten by much in a 2850m Gr.3 here last month and tends to go well for Alexandre Abrivard. Place chance
  93. LYZIA DES AGETS – 4th of 13 in a 2700m Gr.2 here on 6 November. Races at a more reasonable level this time and will not be available at 132-1
  94. LOTUS ZEN – Useful type but has not been seen out since running 4th in a Gr.3 here last August. Will be barefoot though and can get a look in
  95. LUCAS – Out of the picture in all 3 return runs. Goes barefoot this time but others still preferred
Summary: Yet to disappoint in this branch of the business, LEMON FLEURY (4) would prefer the main track but he outclassed the opposition here 2.5 weeks ago and even with shoes fitted is eminently capable of repeating. Mathieu Mottier will still be mindful of LE PRIEURE (5) who made no bones about securing his first goal of the winter, and the serious LAFOLLY DELO (7) who ran 2nd in a Gr.3 over the long course a month ago. LYZIA DES AGETS (8) sprang quite the surprise in a Gr.2 here a fortnight ago and should prove more competitive at this level.

C1 – PRIX JEAN-LUC KIRCHHOFF – 1600m (a1m) – TURF – Class 1 – Flat – EUR € 34,800

  1. AIDAN’S PHONE – He won three races earlier this year, including a Listed race at Saint-Cloud in March. 3rd over 1700m in a Class 1 race on October 13th when last seen. Key chance
  2. AFRICAN GREY – Placed on his last three runs, 2nd over 1900m at this track in a Class 4 handicap on November 4th. This requires a good deal more
  3. BAYAMOON – Two unplaced runs of late, 6th on the latter over 1500m in a Class 2 race at Deauville on November 7th. Unlikely to trouble some of these
  4. LAITH – Finished 4th on his last run over 1400m in a Class 1 race at this track on October 25th. Hard to rule out of the frame
  5. FELIX AUX ORMES – Ran well two runs back over 1400m at this track in a Class 1 race on October 25th. Capable of being competitive
  6. DIVINE CHRISNAT – She scored 19 days ago at Angers in a Class 2 race over 1600m in a close finish. Capable of making her presence felt
  7. JOH SPIRIT – Unplaced last time, a win before that over 1600m at this track in a Class 3 handicap on October 25th. Others rate higher
  8. BLOWN BY THE WIND – 7th on her last run 19 days ago at Angers, 4th previously over 1950m at Le Mans on October 6th in a Class 2 race. Others make more appeal
Summary: AIDAN’S PHONE (1) holds leading claims, he is a previous Listed winner in March over 2100m at Saint-Cloud and ran a decent race when third over 1700m in mid-October, when last seen at Marseille Borely in a Class 1 race. DIVINE CHRISNAT (6) looks like the chief threat. She scored in a Class 2 race at Angers 19 days ago over this trip. FELIX AUX ORMES (5) was a decent third two runs back at this track and warrants respect.

  9. GLASGOW DU BERLAIS – Two decent runs of late, 2nd over 4200m at Fontainebleau in a Class 3 hurdle on October 13th on his most recent. Capable chaser who warrants respect
  10. PERSYAMBRE – Ran well to be 2nd over 3700m in a handicap chase at Auteuil on October 29th. Among the leading contenders
  11. IGUANE DES ONGRAIS – Recent success over 4500m at Lignieres on November 1st in a handicap chase. Has work to do to trouble some of these
  12. GLORICE – Won nicely by 2.5 lengths over 4200m at Meslay-Du-Maine on October 26th in a Class 4 chase. Former Listed chase winner in 2023/2024. Sets the standard
  13. EXUPERY – Placed 2nd on his last run over 4000m at Durtal on November 9th in a handicap chase. He needs a few to falter
  14. FUNWAY – 7th over hurdles late in October, a win over 3800m at this track before that in a Class 3 chase on March 5th. He will strip fitter today and can not be discounted
  15. ROYALCLETY – He won over 3850m at Compiegne on September 10th in a handicap chase on his latest outing. This will be more of a test
Summary: Former Listed chase winner GLORICE (4) won well at Meslay-Du-Maine in late October in a lower grade event last time and will be full of confidence after that success. He is preferred ahead of GLASGOW DU BERLAIS (1), who has performed well over hurdles recently. He is a useful chaser who should appreciate the return to the larger obstacles. FUNWAY (6) will strip fitter for a run over hurdles in October and can have a say. PERSYAMBRE (2) heads the remainder.

  16. HURLEVENT – Showed improvement when third in a claimer at Agen over 1200m on 26 October. Might earn some minor money
  17. COUR SAINT ELOI – Battling to find best form and was 7th in a handicap at this track over 1600m on 4 November. Others are preferred
  18. LACHOP – Holding form and was fourth in a Conditions race at Pau over 2000m on 13 November. Can contest the finish
  19. BATTISTERO – Finished 6th in a claimer at Castera-Verduza over 2400m on 2 Movember. Needs major improvement to win
  20. DADEICOS LAER – Finished 6th in a handicap at Nantes over 2400m on 1 November. Might play a minor role at very best in a weak race
  21. HENSHAW – Has only been modest of late and was 7th in a claimer at Mont-de-Marsan over 2450m on 15 November. Others make more appeal
  22. ARYVESAN – Showed some improvement when fourth in a handicap at Clairefontaine over 1600m on 24 October. Could be a threat
  23. FLEUR D’AQUITAINE – Has only been moderate of late and finished 8th in a handicap at this track over 1600m on 4 November. Others are preferred
