R1 VINCENNES [L-H]

C1 – PRIX VOURASIE – 2200m (a1m1/2) – Gr3 – Harness – EUR € 60,000

  1. NOVA DE CELLAND – Would have finished closer in Gr.3 Prix Marcel Dejean over course and distance on 17 October had she been afforded a run. With form maintained, and a better trip, can play an active role this time
  2. NESTOLA – Takes a leap in category after running 2nd in a Class D over course and distance 3 weeks ago and appears to have very limited prospects
  3. NACRE DU MOUTHIEUX – Won a Class D over course and distance with authority on 12 September. Has not raced since, and is untried at this level, but has buckets of talent and will be justifiably well supported
  4. NOVA ISTORIA CHOC – Solid in all 3 so far, latterly 2nd to NANIKA DU PONT (5) in a 2875m Enghien Class B on 16 October, but would be preferred a category down
  5. NANIKA DU PONT – Got off the mark in good order here in mid-October, securing a 2875m Enghien Class B, but in this company will have her work cut out
  6. NYMPHE D’ELLE – Close 2nd to NAYARA (7) in a Class B here on 3 November. Has done everything asked of her to date but represents no more than a minor place chance
  7. NAYARA – Improving sort that won a Class B over course and distance early this month, on first start for new trainer. Still has ground to make up but is a progressive filly that can make her presence felt
  8. NORMANDIE NIEMEN – Classy future prospect that could well have won a Class A here in late-September had she not lost her action. More than made amends at Graignes and David Thomain will be out to prove a point. Claim
  9. NOCIVE DU CHOQUEL – Runner-up in both starts here, most recently to NOUBA DU BAS BOSQ (10) in Prix Marcel Dejean last month, and has every right to take her chances here. First 5
  10. NOUBA DU BAS BOSQ – Has gone from strength to strength since her July debut, making it 4 for 4 in Gr.3 Prix Marcel Dejean under these conditions on 17 October. Faces main threat from her stable companion but is still a leading proposition
Summary: Philippe Allaire has won four of the last 6 renewals of this race, presents NORMANDIE NIEMEN (8) who has won 3 of her 4 starts to date, and looks set to add another Prix Vourasie to his tally. David Thomain will still want to be wary of stablemate NOUBA DU BAS BOSQ (10) who has yet to taste defeat, and the Duvaldestin NACRE DU MOUTHIEUX (3) who starts for the first time since flying up over course and distance over 2 months ago. NOVA DE CELLAND (1) ran 2nd to her that day before being denied a run in the Gr.3 Prix Marcel Dejean.

    C2 – PRIX TIMOKO – 2200m (a1m1/2) – Gr3 – Harness – EUR € 60,000
  11. NET MONEY – Opened Vincennes account late last month at first time of asking. Is clearly a useful future prospect and even though in superior company this time still looks a major player
  12. NAT KING COLE – Made short work of an Enghien Class C before losing his action in Gr.3 Prix Louis Cauchois on 17 October. Was plainly in form that day, has had ample time to recalibrate, and must not be underestimated
  13. NELSON DE BUSSET – Last of 5 finishers to NECTAR D’AVIGNERE (9) in Gr.3 Prix Louis Cauchois here last month, and would have better chances at a lower level
  14. NEW SUCCESS – Made short work of a 2875m Enghien Class B 9 days ago. NELSON EMGE (7) is the only horse to beat him and Yoann Lebourgeois can be legitimately confident of a competitive performance
  15. NEVER FORGET – Sent for a rest after winning a 2100m Class B here on 1 September. Has bags of promise but is unlikely to be pushed hard on his first start back
  16. NITRO DAIRPET – 4th in race of reference before coming 2nd in a Class B under these conditions early this month. Alexandre Abrivard in the bike this time but still not a priority
  17. NELSON EMGE – Good 2nd in a Class A over course and distance before coming in a fast-finishing 2nd to NECTAR D’AVIGNERE (9) in Gr.3 Prix Louis Cauchois over track and trip on 17 October, and with form maintained should have the upper hand this time
  18. NOBEL VENESI – Has hardly put a foot wrong since starting to race left-handed, latterly 3rd to NECTAR D’AVIGNERE (9) in 17 October race of reference. Is not about to cause an upset but can still pick up a first-5 cheque
  19. NECTAR D’AVIGNERE – Won 2 of last 3 starts, most recently the Gr.3 Prix Louis Cauchois over course and distance on 17 October. Eric Raffin stays faithful and will not be satisfied with 2nd place. Chance
Summary: A serious colt that just missed out in the Gr.3 Prix Louis Cauchois here last month, NELSON EMGE (7) most certainly has the class to turn the tables on NECTAR D’AVIGNERE (9) who had his measure that day. NET MONEY (1) imposed with ease on his Vincennes bow in late-October and has progress written all over him. Back at Vincennes after comfortably imposing across town, NEW SUCCESS (4) must be considered a decent place chance.

    C3 – PRIX JOSEPH LAFOSSE – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Gr2 – Mounted – EUR € 120,000
  20. EMPIRE AS – In the frame in both monte starts to date, most recently 2nd in a Class C here late last month. Appears to have considerable untapped potential, and runs barefoot, but still cannot be considered a priority
  21. KATCHINA FOR CLARA – Honest mare that always gives her best but will need to show marked improvement on recent 5th to KEENGAME (5) in 2175m Gr.2 Prix Xavier de Saint Palais here on 7 November
  22. KID BELLAY – Fine campaigner that seldom disappoints in the day’s configuration. Has had the benefit of a pair of return runs and is in with a realistic shout of making the frame
  23. KATINKA AIMEF – Sent for a break after dominating the Gr.1 Prix de Normandie last June. Has one conditioner in him since and if fully fit can deny KEENGAME (5) the double
  24. KEENGAME – Made up for Gr.2 Prix Edmond Henry elimination when courageously winning 2175m Prix Xavier de Saint Palais here a fortnight ago. 2700m not her favourite trip but still has the class to give KATINKA AIMEF (4) a run for her money
  25. KELLY DE BANVILLE – Can prove a handful but has bags of ability, latterly 2nd to KEENGAME (5) in 2175m Gr.2 Prix Xavier de Saint Palais here on 7 November, and with application can again finish in the mix
  26. KYRIELLE DES VAUX – Gr.1 winner at 4 but has not been as sharp since. Has 2 conditioners in her following a long layoff, and even though shod to preference, still looks an outsider
  27. KYT KAT – Showed great tenacity to win the Gr.2 Prix Edmond Henry over course and distance on 10 October. Is a tough nut when barefoot and focused but looks more a place prospect this time around
Summary: Mares appear to have the upper hand here in what looks a particularly interesting duel between brilliant Gr.1 Prix de Normandie winner KATINKA AIMEF (4), who will be barefoot following her Laval harness conditioner, and runner-up KEENGAME (5) who most recently secured the Gr.2 Prix Xavier de Saint Palais. Normandie 3rd, KID BELLAY (3), has a pair of runs in him since the break, will be shod to preference, and Eric Raffin can justifiably expect to finish close. KYT KAT (8) put on quite the show to win the Gr.2 Prix Edmond Henry in early-October and deserves to be taken seriously.

    C4 – PRIX DANIEL MIETTE – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class B – Harness – EUR € 75,000
  28. IACYNTHE DIDJEAP – Disappointing 8th in a Class C here late last month. Takes a notable hike in category and chances appear slim
  29. HELLO PANAME – Starts for the first time since mid-September. Out of the picture in last 4 Vincennes starts and can be passed over
  30. HOLD UP DU DIGEON – Sprang a 33-1 surprise when 2nd in a 3000m GNT Gr.3 at Nantes 2.5 weeks ago. Alexandre Abrivard in the bike this time but a repeat seems unlikely
  31. HEADSCOTT – Ran 6th to IN RED (7) in 4 November race of reference over a trip which was far from ideal. Is in his element this time and, if fully fit, will not be far off the mark
  32. GORDON MIJACK – Has not been seen out since running 3rd in a monte Class B under these conditions on 12 September. Shoes fitted and no threat
  33. GIMS DU PLESSIS – Reassuring 2nd over course and distance on 3 November before being eliminated early over 2850m next time. Is plainly in fine form and can pick up some prizemoney if he gets off on the right foot
  34. IN RED – A veritable metronome in the day’s configuration, beat a number of these over 2100m here on comeback earlier in the month, and will be reined by JMB this time. Attention
  35. INDUS VAL – Quality individual facing first goal of the winter meeting after having made his comeback in Mons 10 days ago. Is proven at this level but takes on some very good horses this time and looks a minor place chance at best
  36. INDY DARK – Made up for October run when close 2nd in a Class B under these conditions a fortnight back. Is a tough nut when barefoot over 2700m here and must be considered a contender
  37. HARISON DU PLESSIS – Ran 4th to IN RED (7) here on 4 November before coming 5th in a Bordeaux Class C conditioner 10 days ago. Has never failed to fire under these conditions and is not about to start now. First 5
  38. HURRICANE CARTER – Fine servant that has been knocking at the door for some time. Is in his category and deserves to be rewarded one of these days. Claim
  39. GINO VIVA – Left a good impression when 5th of 10 to IN RED (7) in a 2100m Class B 2.5 weeks ago, however confirmation will not be forthcoming
  40. ISOFOU DU CHENE – Put in a superb finish to run 3rd of 10 to IN RED (7) in a 2100m Class B 2.5 weeks ago. Is as versatile as they come and should again figure prominently
  41. ISTER MAN – Had been shaping up well in the provinces before coming an unlucky 7th of 10 in 4 November race of reference, and will not be far from the action if afforded a run this time around
  42. IROISE DE LA NOE – Classy mare with form at a superior level and boasts an excellent record over 2700m here. Makes just 2nd start back but is plainly in competition-mode and can get her nose in front
  43. HERADAMES – Drops back in category after failing to deliver in a 2850m Gr.3 here 9 days ago and is not about to create an upset
Summary: A wonderful servant that has taken his game to a new level this year, the reconfigured HURRICANE CARTER (11) has finished 2nd in his last 3 starts and it is only a question of time before he gets back in the winners’ enclosure. He will still face opposition from the well-engaged IROISE DE LA NOE (15) who sports a new configuration for her first objective of the winter, and ISOFOU DU CHENE (13) who has finished a place behind Yoann Lebourgeois’ horse in 2 of his last 3 starts, and who will be barefoot for the occasion. HEADSCOTT (4) has a pair of runs under his belt following a lengthy layoff and should be fit enough to contest the finish this time. INDY DARK (9) just missed out here 2 weeks ago and will be no pushover.

    C5 – PRIX DE CHAROLLES – 2100m (a1m1/4) – Class E – Harness – EUR € 35,000
  44. LA STAR DES ISLES – Hardy element making first appearance in the capital. Is barefoot following a necessary conditioner but would be preferred going clockwise
  45. LADY D’ECAJEUL – Pleasant 4th of 8 in a 2175m Class D here a month back. Has been reconfigured, will be fully fit, and from the 2-spot can give this a good go. Place chance
  46. LUNA DE MALAC – Completely out of the equation on comeback here 2.5 weeks ago, and with shoes fitted will have nothing to offer
  47. LACIENDA FLASH – Not without merit but has not been seen out since 12 September. Has previously won over the main track but represents a minor place chance at best this time
  48. LILOU DE GUOZ – Sent for a rest after securing the hat-trick in early-August. Is in competition-mode this time and will be expected to bring the fight to LAMBADA GIRL (11)
  49. LUNE LUMALO – Honest mare that came 5th of 13 in a 2850m Class E here last weekend. Runs barefoot this time and, while not a priority, cannot be entirely ruled out either
  50. LIBERTY HEROLD – Has demonstrated quite a liking for 2100m over the main track. Is unlikely to impose this time but will not be far off the mark
  51. LUCKY STAR JIEL – Scored for the first time in 20 months when dominating a 2400m Amiens Class E 9 days ago. Is forced to start wide but enjoys a fine entry and Franck Ouvrie will be keen to deliver
  52. LOZEN DE BANVILLE – Gave a reassuring account in a claimer over the short course late last month. In this company though has no possible chance
  53. LUTECE PLANCHETTE – Has done nothing but improve over recent weeks, latterly running 2nd in a Graignes Class E. Is in a totally different category this time though and is unlikely to spice things up
  54. LAMBADA GIRL – Stormed up at Challans before losing her action when full of running over the short course 12 days ago. Has already won 3 times for Eric Raffin who will be determined to set the record straight
  55. LISA DE PERVENCHE – Eliminated early over course and distance 2.5 weeks ago, but redeemed herself 8 days later at Bordeaux when 3rd on 15 in a 2550m Class E. Alexandre Abrivard in the bike this time and, despite the draw, still looks competitively well in
  56. LUDMILLA HAUFOR – Has looked decidedly ordinary since moving back to Paris and can be confidently ruled out
Summary: LAMBADA GIRL (11) fell foul of her own temperament here recently, when clearly in excellent shape; she goes barefoot again and should have this in the bag provided Eric Raffin manages to keep her focused. Better-placed on the front line following her re-entry run, LILOU DE GUOZ (5) will be shod as she was when victorious across town in August, and looks the main danger. LADY D’ECAJEUL (2) drops down the category-ladder, seldom disappoints at Vincennes, and can make the frame this time. LISA DE PERVENCHE (12) is not ideally-drawn but she returns to Paris 10 days after reassuring in Bordeaux and with application will not be far off the mark.
    SELECTIONS

    C6 – PRIX DE MANCIET – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class E – Harness – EUR € 41,000
  57. KIBORA BUISSONAY – Unremarkable 6th to KOTKITA GIRL (14) over shorter here earlier this month. Has no particular love for Vincennes and can be passed over
  58. KAI LA SHA – Bought out of a recent claimer, makes first start for new handler and with Anthony Barrier in the bike will generate interest
  59. KUNZITE D’EM – Below-par in all 3 starts this autumn. Is not the biggest fan of Vincennes and can be ruled out
  60. KINOU DAB – Produced a pair of decent runs before disappointing over 2150m at Enghien just over a month back. Has previously won under these conditions and while not a priority should not be overlooked either
  61. KOH PHI PHI ISLAND – Progressive mare that has had this moment on her agenda for some time. Races barefoot, with Jean-Michel Bazire reining, and can win this if she takes to the new profile
  62. KATINKA COTON – Unable to confirm Caen success when last of 11 in an Enghien Class D late last month. Form is not in question though, ran 2nd over track and trip on sole start here, and must be respected
  63. KATINA DE TOUSSAC – Opened her Vincennes account on 28 October, at first time of asking. In better company this time but still looks a major player
  64. KALAMITY DE CHENU – Imposed at La Capelle in September before being eliminated at Saint-Malo 3 weeks ago. Is shod again and will have nothing to offer
  65. KASA DJANGA – Improving sort that ran 4th, at 49-1, in a 2150m Enghien Class E on 18 October. Pleased on Vincennes debut in September but faces a stiffer test this time around
  66. KADIJA MESLOISE – Last of 16 in a Class E over course and distance 2 weeks ago. Hind shoes off this time but others still easier to trust
  67. KACHA DE L’ITON – Good, consistent mare making first appearance since late-September. Shoes fitted this time though and best to hold off
  68. KALINKA MOYA – Went into her summer break on a low note and has picked up this term where she left off. Disregard
  69. KEA DES RACQUES – Faces first goal of the winter meeting after a pair of provincial return runs. Matthieu Abrivard at the helm but still not a player
  70. KOTKITA GIRL – Made no bones about winning over shorter here on 4 November. Simply excels with Eric Raffin who can be confident of another big run
  71. KYA D’ERABLE – Drops to a more reasonable category after flopping in a 2875m Enghien Class D early last month, her first start for new stable. Is well-entered this time and will be expected to show a more competitive side
  72. KENISA – Did not enjoy the best of trips in a similar event here 2 weeks ago. Her form is sure and with more luck in running can figure prominently
Summary: Given a freshener earlier in the month after having lost her action on her previous start, KOH PHI PHI ISLAND (5) is new to Vincennes but has shown significant talent. Barefoot for the big day, she will take her win-rate to 50 percent if she gets her nose in front. She will still be up against KOTKITA GIRL (14) who made short work of a competitive Class F here 2.5 weeks ago, and KATINA DE TOUSSAC (7) who lifted a Class E with similar ease late last month. Terrifically engaged here, KENISA (16) has the wherewithal to put her recent woes behind her.
    SELECTIONS
    KOH PHI PHI ISLAND (5) – KOTKITA GIRL (14) – KATINA DE TOUSSAC (7) – KENISA (16)
    C7 – PRIX DE CHENONCEAUX – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Gr3 – Harness – EUR € 80,000
  73. LEMON TREE – Has done nothing of note at this level since last Christmas. Is barefoot this time but can still be ruled out
  74. L’AS DESBOIS – Group-class colt that impressed more than once here last winter. Returns to racing barefoot after easily imposing at Laval last weekend, and looks game once more. First 5
  75. LITTLE BROWN – 4th to KARAMBAR (6) in Gr.3 Prix Pierre Van Troyen but failed to confirm last Sunday and others easier to back
  76. L’ECRIN D’OR – Fine colt preparing for his next objective in the other code and can be passed over
  77. KILLIAM FROMENTRO – Serious type that won a Gr.3 here during the spring. Returns to the capital after a Laval conditioner and can play a leading role if JMB keeps him focused
  78. KARAMBAR – Made it 3 straight successes when comfortably winning the Gr.3 Prix Pierre Van Troyen over track and trip on 24 October. Is clearly at the top of his game and securing this is well within his capability
  79. ICEBREAKER (DEN) – Speedy sort that has raced little to date. Has nothing to prove at this level and under these conditions can make his Vincennes debut a winning one
  80. LEARN TO FLY – Serious colt that has not put a foot wrong of late. Has form over course and distance at a superior level and his recent Prix Marcel Laurent performance stands him in good stead
  81. LONDON – Lost his action in Gr.1 Critérium des 4 Ans before faulting again at Laval. Already counts a Gr.1 to her name, has been reconfigured, and it is only a question of time before she gets back in the game
  82. LIGHT MY FIRE – Gr.1 Grand Prix de l’UET 3rd in Solvalla early last month but was disappointing behind L’ECRIN D’OR (4) under the saddle in Gr.2 Prix Ceneri Forcinal recently, and others preferred
Summary: Runner-up in a Solvalla Gr.1 during the summer, ICEBREAKER (DEN) (7) makes his French debut in excellent form, with Eric Raffin reining, and can get straight down to business. That being said, it is hard to ignore the reinvigorated KARAMBAR (6) who secured the hat-trick under similar conditions a month ago. KILLIAM FROMENTRO (5) gets his winter campaign under way in earnest and with JMB in the bike must be regarded a player. Fourth in the Critérium des 4 Ans before confirming in the Prix Marcel Laurent earlier in the month, LEARN TO FLY (8) should again finish close.
    SELECTIONS
    ICEBREAKER (DEN) (7) – KARAMBAR (6) – KILLIAM FROMENTRO (5) – LEARN TO FLY (8)
    C8 – PRIX DE LA CLAYETTE – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class E – Mounted – EUR € 49,000
  83. INVISIBLE SUN – Capricious but capable Scandinavian type making Vincennes, and monte, debut on first outing since the summer. Guillaume Martin in the irons and is worth keeping an eye on
  84. LEROY BOKO – Has yet to make any impact in 2 monte starts. Is new to the venue and is unlikely to make much of an impact
  85. IBIZA DE CONNEE – Imposed at Enghien last month before running 5th in a Class E over the inner track a fortnight ago. Is reunited with Clément Frecelle though and could prove something of a spoiler
  86. IONA GENDREENNE – Returns to the code after being conditioned under harness at Nantes recently but at this level will have too much to do
  87. IMHOTEP BUROIS – Unseen under the saddle in over 2 years. Is barefoot with Eric Raffin aboard but still not an obvious choice
  88. IMAGE D’HERFRAIE – Made no impact on recent return to the code here. Alexandre Abrivard in the saddle this time but others still easier to trust
  89. IKITORI – Courageous 3rd over 2850m here on 10 November. Drops marginally in category and, confirmed in the day’s formula, looks the one to beat
  90. ROBTHEBANK – Capable nordic import making first appearance for new trainer. Is untried in the discipline but the choice of jockey speaks volumes. Chance
  91. ILLICO JULRY – Has excelled in the code in the southeast despite the occasional fault. Shoes off for Vincennes debut and does not make the long trip to Paris just to return home empty-handed
  92. IBILI D’OCCAGNES – Showed improvement when 5th behind IKITORI (7) here recently but still has more to find
  93. IQUEM NARCY – Returns to a more suitable level after running respectable 5th in a 2175m Class D here a month ago. Goes well for Mathis Champenois who will be eyeing a place in the frame this time
  94. ILIEN DE VRIE – Beaten only by a very good horse in a Saint-Omer Class F on 12 October. Is not easy to knock when barefoot and has solid references under these conditions. Place prospect
  95. INFLUENCE JULRY – Has been in fine form for most of the year, and made a pleasant return to the code in the summer. Is new to Vincennes but is barefoot for the occasion and in current condition will have a claim on a first-5 cheque
Summary: Clearly back in business following a pair of conditioners, IKITORI (7) returns to the main track after having put on a good show over the short course earlier in the month and, reconfigured for the occasion, can impose. Mathieu Mottier will be aboard ROBTHEBANK (8) for his monte debut and could yet prove the fly in Andréa Roussel’s ointment. Not once out of the first 2 when focused, ILLICO JULRY (9) is barefoot and very easy to like. Winner of his last 2 barefoot starts, ILIEN DE VRIE (12) will not be sent out unsupported.

    C9 – PRIX D’ANGLES – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class A – Harness – EUR € 62,000
  96. MOUSKIE DE GUEZ – Won a Class D here 3 weeks ago before coming 3rd in better company 8 days ago. Secured both victories with JMB in the bike and will again be afforded every chance
  97. MOANA MESLOISE – Winner of all 3 races she has finished so far. Would have contested the finish had she not been eliminated in race of reference, and is in with a realistic shout of setting the record straight
  98. MACANA MONNERIE – Serious filly that caught the eye after losing her action in a Class B over 2175m here a fortnight back. Looks better than most others here and with application can return to winning ways
  99. MY QUALITA PIYA – Spirited but talented filly that was eliminated early in 8 November race of reference. Left a very good impression thereafter and will be no easy touch if Anthony Barrier keeps her focused
  100. MAIA JIEL – Eliminated in both 2700m starts here but ran reassuring 3rd to MABELLISSIME (8) in a 2175m Class B a fortnight ago. On this occasion though is unlikely to shake things up
  101. MIDNIGHT EXPRESS – Looked very ordinary behind MARION D’ATOUT (10) here on 17 October. Is not without merit but needs to get her house in order
  102. MIRA DE FROULAY – Imposed on comeback but out of the picture in next 2, and will need to show marked improvement on recent Laval performance
  103. MABELLISSIME – Comfortable winner of a 2175m Class B here 2 weeks ago, on Vincennes bow. Was somewhat fortunate that day but is still a quality filly in her own right and David Thomain will be eager to double up
  104. MARGAUX DES ARRIS – Showed some improvement when 5th of 7 in a Gr.3 under these conditions on 6 November, but not enough to be considered a player
  105. MARION D’ATOUT – Ran 2nd ahead of a number of these in a Class A under these conditions on 17 October, before losing her action in a Gr.2 last Sunday. Is racing at a more reasonable level this time and should be good enough to finish in the mix
Summary: Eliminated 2 weeks ago, for the first time in her short career, MACANA MONNERIE (3) should not be too hastily-judged. She subsequently showed her form and can more than make amends if she stays in stride. MOANA MESLOISE (2) was also eliminated that day when plainly competitive, and represents the main danger. MY QUALITA PIYA (4) suffered the same fate but will have progressed for the run at least, and can play a prominent role if she keeps her action together. MABELLISSIME (8) was not inconvenienced by the woes of others that day and a repeat is not out of the question.

C1 – PRIX JEAN BOULARD – COURSE DE HAIES DES 3 ANS – 3400m (a2m1/8) – TURF – Class 1 – Hurdles – EUR € 34,000

  1. MANGOS – He won at Auteuil over 3500m in a Class 2 chase last time out on November 5th. Capable of following up back over hurdles
  2. SO RISKY – Two good efforts over hurdles, a 2nd on debut at Auteuil in September, and a win at Compiegne over 3400m in a claiming hurdle on October 20th. Player
  3. MARIUS – Three unplaced runs so far, the latter over 3600m at Auteuil over hurdles on October 18th. Look elsewhere
  4. VIVRE LE REVE – Unraced gelding by Pether’s Moon, the dam won 3 races on the flat and was placed. From a good stable who knows the time of day. Monitor the betting for clues
  5. MOUILLE TA CHEMISE – Placed 4th on his last two runs, the latter over 3400m in a Class 2 hurdle on October 30th. Unlikely to feature
  6. SUNDAYS CHILD – Placed 4th at Moulins on her last run over 3500m in a Class 4 hurdle on November 9th. Others make more appeal
Summary: MANGOS (1) stayed on strongly to win over 3500m in a Class 2 chase at Auteuil earlier this month. He is capable of following up back over hurdles. SO RISKY (2) has two decent performances over hurdles, the latter when scoring at Compiegne on October 20th in a claiming race. He can make the selection work hard. VIVRE LE REVE (4) has a taking profile and is from a respected stable that will have this gelding well prepared. SUNDAYS CHILD (6) is also worth considering.

  7. SPEED PARK – Finished 4th over 3400m in a claiming hurdle at Lyon Parilly on October 30th on his second start. Others make more appeal

  85. BARITON BEAR – Only had five starts, ignore last run when disappointing at Saint-Cloud and is a must for all bets. Placed 2nd at Machecoul over 2950m in the penultimate and can be given a good chance
  86. MAESTRAL – Should get it all right one of these days. Was 3rd at Saint-Brieuc over 2400m last time and can make a race of it. Strong place chance
  87. ZODD – Rates the one to beat. He has placed six times from nine starts and looks ready now. Placed 3rd at Chantilly over 1900m earlier this month and is the firm first choice
  88. MONSIEUR SHELBY – Will need to improve a few places on debut effort for the win but surely has scope. Placed 7th at Craon over 3000m back in September. Include in the quartet
  89. SEEYOUGO – Has shown very little in two runs thus far and it is therefore hard to make a case for. Would be a shock winner, happy to pass by
  90. KEEN LADY – She ran an absolute cracker at Haras Du Pin over 2200m on the 26th of October and should provide plenty cheek all the way home to the first pick. Can win
  91. MOHYRA – She made no impression on debut when only 10th over 1950m at Le Mans in late October and will need significant improvement to threaten. Pass by
  92. DOUBLE JEU – She is taking forever to get it all right, is currently badly off form and only placed twice in her career thus far. Hard to make a case for and would be a shock winner
  93. BREIZH DANSE – Made a pleasing debut at Machecoul over 1650m on the 2nd of this month finishing 5th. There should be any amount of improvement to come. Strong each way claims
  94. ORIENTAL TIGER – Makes his racing debut and is by tip top Teofilo out of a mare called Oriental Road. She won two races in her career and a sparkling first up run could be on the cards here. Watch the betting
  95. IT’S GENETIC – This horse has a shallow pedigree being by It’s Gino out of a mare that never raced and is likely to be an outsider first up. Prefer others
  96. LA COMEDIENNE – She is by Elm Park out of a one time winning mare that could find the opposition here on debut a touch too strong. Watch the market trends with regards to the chances
  97. BALENTINE – A first timer filly that is more than likely to be found at the bottom end of the Bookmakers boards on debut and others will be far preferred. Happy to ignore first up
  98. LUCINE – A daughter of It’s Gino out of a Sunshack mare that might need the experience. Check the betting market for confirmation of that
  99. MILESSIA PARADISE – A daughter out of Silverwave that gets her career underway. She is out of a Le Harve mare and might need a run or two to learn what racing is all about
  100. MONDINE – She is by Mondialiste out of a Take Risks mare. Watch the betting trends as race time looms but she will possibly need the first run
Summary: ZODD (3) finished an encouraging 3rd at Chantilly over 1900m last time intimating that the maiden win is now very near. KEEN LADY (6) has placed five from nine and finished a good 2nd over 2200m last time. She can finally get it all right and go one more today. BARITON BEAR (1) can be forgiven for the below par last run and judged on the very good penultimate effort when placing 2nd. Big danger to the first choice. BREIZH DANSE (9) should be right there at the finish and is a natural inclusion for the quartet.
    SELECTIONS
    ZODD (3) – KEEN LADY (6) – BARITON BEAR (1) – BREIZH DANSE (9)
    C8 – PRIX MOULIN D’ARGENT – 2400m (a1m1/2) – ALL WEATHER – Class 3 – Flat – EUR € 13,700
  101. ROYAL ENCLOSURE – He is taking time to find the winners enclosure to record his next win. Last run was at Deauville over 2500m in a Handicap placing 9th and might well be the value. Respect and include
  102. PONTE DE LIMA – Was a winner at the penultimate run but only managed 7th place at Agen over 2500m last time. Others are preferred for the shortlist
  103. ENERGIA TOURISMO – Two time winning son of Tourist, finished 4th at Machecould over 2350m on the 11th of this month and has respectable enough form to make a race of it. Good chance
  104. LOUISE GREEN – Placed 5th at Machecoul over 2350m on the 11th of this month and will need to serve up more than that to win but can certainly place
  105. BANMA – Was a winner three starts back at Niort but two runs since then have been on the decline at two different tracks over two different distances. Off form and hard to make a case for
  106. KATIE LIGHT – She has placed 50% of the time and should be able to get it right soon despite competing in some low grade races. Include in the quartet as the place value
  107. LA FLANDRINE – Placed 6th at Chantilly in a fairly competitive race over 1900m on the 8th of this month and bumps the right field here. Bright winning chance
  108. BYGOUDINE – Ignore last run, placed 2nd at Niort over 2250m in the penultimate and will be able to go close based on that run alone. Each way chance
  109. HELP DAVIER – Posted a much better effort last time when racing at Niort over 2250m on the 12th of October placing 4th. Strong place claims
  110. MEKHTALIA – She has only placed once in her career, her last run is a worry and she will need considerable progression to threaten here. Small, outside place chance at best
Summary: LA FLANDRINE (7) is lightly raced, ran well on debut and meets the right field to run a huge race. Her last two runs can be progressed on. BYGOUDINE (8) will have a huge chance if dismissing the last run when not finding a place. The penultimate start was good enough to suggest she has solid claims here. HELP DAVIER (9) is a tad erratic but on very best form, can finish in the first four. ENERGIA TOURISMO (3) is another one that must be given consideration.
    SELECTIONS – LA FLANDRINE (7) – BYGOUDINE (8) – HELP DAVIER (9) – ENERGIA TOURISMO (3)
