Summary: The hat-trick of wins looks likely for the promising KILL PASS (1), who made light work of his rivals when scoring at Compiegne in late October by eight lengths. His main rival could be PRINCE D’EGYPTE (2), who has been placed on both starts and a win is not far away. MATTHEW (6) showed promise on his sole start over hurdles and can improve and make the top three. SEA LINER (3) scored at Angers over hurdles 21 days ago and should have a say in proceedings.

Summary: KAPPA D’ESTRUVAL (2) has been in good shape this year which followed his improvement in 2024. His second at this track in a Class 2 chase earlier this month was another consistent effort. Summary: A very competitive race. KHERMES D’URZY (9) is clearly capable of better than what he has shown of late. Barefoot and back on a course he has won at, he gets the narrow vote to score. KALGARY (7) remains in good form and would not be a surprise winner. KASHMIR DU GERS (6) is unreliable but quite capable of making the frame. HERODE DU CORTA (7) impressed with a good win at Salon-de-Provence last month and can win again. GEODE DU CHERISAY (8) will be barefoot for this so expect a much improved performance. C1 – PRIX DU MANEGE – 2500m (a1m1/2) – Class F – Harness – EUR € 21,000

  1. KERLAZ D’AVE – Showed signs of a return to form in the autumn but out of the picture in last 2 starts and will have few takers
  2. KAJOU JOSSELYN – Left an encouraging impression at Laval earlier in the month, on just 2nd start back. Is new to the venue but is well-drawn and with Anthony Barrier in the bike is unlikely to let the side down. First 5
  3. KISS ME DU LIVET – Modest mare that has raced twice since the break but in this company has no possible chance
  4. KATITZI – Won 3 of 4 before running 3rd in a Vincennes Class F early this month. Would be preferred barefoot but in current condition is still very easy to like
  5. KID DE LA BANIO – Won 2 of 3 before being eliminated at Laval on 7 November. Has never disappointed at Reims and is not about to start now. Chance
  6. KELLE – Didn’t miss the mark on first barefoot start, comfortably winning a 2500m Class E. Form is plainly headed in the right direction and she is eminently capable of doubling up
  7. KALYPSO DE THIERRE – Unremarkable 6th of 10 finishers in a Cabourg Class E a month back. Is not devoid of talent but is unlikely to create an upset
  8. KIRIO DE REUX – Sprang a pleasant surprise when 4th of 14 in a 2500m Class F on comeback here a fortnight ago. Alexandre Abrivard in the bike for the first time and, despite the draw, still looks a player
  9. KER MIEL – Had been on a fine run of form until being eliminated in a 2500m Class F here 2 weeks ago. Has again been handed an unfavourable draw but is still worth retaining
  10. KILLER DE BEAULIEU – Surprise 3rd behind KATUDI (13) in Saint-Galmier before running 6th behind KIRIO DE REUX (8) in a Class F under these conditions on 10 November. Handed a tough draw and confirmation seems improbable
  11. KAZACHOK D’ETANG – 7th behind KIRIO DE REUX (8) in a Class F under these conditions on 10 November. Disappointing on the whole since late-summer 2024 and is not about to spring any surprises
  12. KIARHA DE NAPPES – Pleasant 4th of 13 in a Class F over course and distance 2 weeks ago. Has little going for her this time though and can be passed over
  13. KATUDI – Got back in the game early this month when 2nd of 16 in a 2600m Saint-Galmier Class F. Is not about to lose his maiden tag but should nevertheless hold his own
  14. KIDNAPPING – Complicated but talented sort making first appearance since May. Has no clockwise references and is going to need the race
Summary: KELLE (6) made no bones about imposing at Saint-Brieuc late last month when barefoot for the first time. She has form here and will be able to wrap this up if Alain Laurent keeps her focused. Comfortable winner here before losing his action at Laval, KID DE LA BANIO (5) is nicely-placed beside her and can put things right. KIRIO DE REUX (8) left a good impression on her recent re-entry here, will be barefoot this time, and looks dangerous. KATITZI (4) has been a revelation since late-summer, enjoys a terrific spot behind the car, and even though shod will have an active role to play.

  15. LOOK DANOVER – Unremarkable individual that has yet to show any aptitude for the game and will have few, if any, friends
  16. LOTUS DU CHATAULT – Has looked very ordinary to date. Returns from a spell and appears to have no realistic chance
  17. LEON JERSOP – Late developer that has shown potential but stays shod for Reims bow and will have other ambitions
  18. LABEL DADDY – Unexceptional sort with a regressive profile. Runs first-time barefoot though and from the front row can get a look in
  19. LAWRENCE – Has been totally off the boil for past 3 months. Eliminated on sole Reims appearance and can be ruled out
  20. LAST BOY DU DOME – Has bags of ability but eliminated in last 4, most recently at Nancy. Is new to Reims and will be expected to figure prominently if Philippe Daugeard manages to keep him focused
  21. LAKE OAKS – Modest sort starting for the first time since being eliminated at Le Pertre in late-September and is not about to trouble the judge
  22. LARGO DU PONT – Lost his maiden status in a 2600m Nancy Class G 2 weeks ago. Is clearly on the way up and is well-placed to repeat
  23. L’AIR DU TEMPS – Got off the mark at Le Mont-Saint-Michel 3 weeks ago before losing his action at Caen. Sports pads this time, with Benjamin Rochard reining, and with application can contest the finish
  24. LUIDGI DES EPINES – Reassuring 3rd to LARGO DU PONT (8) in a Nancy Class G a fortnight ago. Enjoys a terrific entry on the front line this time and is not to be underestimated
  25. LOUSTIC DU MIDI – Unlucky here 12 days ago before losing his action at Laon last Wednesday, but the extra 25m will do his chances no favours
  26. LABUAN BAJO – Got back in the game at Paray-le-Monial a week ago when runner-up in a 2650m claimer, but has little to no chance this time around
  27. LOIR BOURBON – Quality element that has won 3 of 4 clockwise starts, including under these conditions. Has just the one run under his belt but the change of shoeing may be just the ticket
  28. L’ART DU SOLLIER – Starts for the first time since running 3rd in a Caen Class E last June. Stays shod for return but in this company can pick up some prizemoney
  29. LOUPIO MENUET – Returns to the code after imposing under the saddle in a Bihorel-lès-Rouen Class F on 19 October. Here for reasons of conditioning however and can be passed over
  30. LUPIN DU BOURG – Sent for a rest after opening his account in July. Very good 2nd at Laon on his comeback just over a month ago and although arguably better racing left-handed, is still easy to recommend
Summary: He took some time to come to hand but LARGO DU PONT (8) has done nothing but improve since the summer. Entrusted to Alexandre Abrivard for the first time, and starting on the front line, he looks the one to beat. He should nevertheless encounter resistance from a reconfigured L’AIR DU TEMPS (9) who should not be hastily-condemned for his Caen blip. On the back row but barefoot for the first time, LOIR BOURBON (13) will have his chances if focused. Excellent in last month’s re-entry run, the well-engaged LUPIN DU BOURG (16) should have a say in the outcome.

  31. HERA D’ESPACE – Unexceptional mare with better prospects at a much lower level and can be confidently ruled out
  32. JOLI CHERI – Mixes the good with the less good but is back in his code of preference. Has a lot going for him this time and can contest the finish if he takes to the new profile
  33. JADE MAJOR – 30-1 winner at Feurs in mid-October but failed to confirm at Strasbourg 3 weeks ago. Handed a good draw but chances limited all the same
  34. JYTRACE DE HOUELLE – Capable sort with a pair of conditioners under his belt following a lengthy layoff. Is proven here, runs barefoot for the occasion, and from the 4-spot is easy to like for a first-5 cheque
  35. JASON BLUE – Fine 3rd of 14 in a competitive Bordeaux Class D on 12 November. Starts in front and will not be far from the action if Pierre-Yves Verva keeps him trotting
  36. JIVA – Never at her ease when eliminated at Laval earlier in the month. Has otherwise been very hard to fault and is expected to play an active role
  37. IVO SIVED – Showed improvement when 4th, a place behind ITONO DE MILLAC (8), in a Lisieux Class E early this month, but in this company will struggle to repeat
  38. ITONO DE MILLAC – Has turned a corner lately, placing at Montauban then Lisieux. Faces a stiffer test this time, will not be helped by the draw, but will still have his supporters
  39. JUST DE LA MORTRIE – Won twice under these conditions in the space of 3 weeks, most recently with authority. Anthony Barrier would have preferred a better draw but still has every chance of securing the 3-timer
  40. JALBA DU FER – Honest mare that always gives her best, and was not disgraced at Cabourg last time, but cannot be considered more than a minor place chance at best on this occasion
  41. JUSTESS VIKING – Disappointing for the most part since the spring, latterly trounced at Chartres. Tends to go well here but is being aimed too high this time
  42. JALACTIC – 4th at Cabourg before repeating behind JUST DE LA MORTRIE (9) here 2 weeks ago. On back line and will have little to contribute
  43. JAWAX DE KERYANN – Faithful element that was unluckily eliminated at Argentan 3 weeks ago. Ran 2nd on lone start here, is plainly in shape, and must be respected
Summary: Occasionally a handful but otherwise dynamic in the day’s configuration, JUST DE LA MORTRIE (9) returns on a hat-trick of course-and-distance victories and despite the draw can still pull it off. Anthony Barrier will nevertheless be mindful of the better-placed JOLI CHERI (2) who goes barefoot with Alexandre Abrivard in the bike, and JIVA (6) who won her last 2 right-handed starts. JASON BLUE (5) is never far from faulting but, after impressing at Bordeaux, will have his chances if focused.

  44. LEGENDE DU HOULET – Modest element that has placed just once in 11 starts and recent re-entry run did nothing to inspire hope
  45. LIZA DE LA COUR – Has produced some forgettable performances over recent months and even though sporting a fresh configuration has no realistic chance
  46. LUTECE RINGEAT – Finished close to LOVHELEN D’OR (12) at La Capelle. Is 25m better off this time and even though shod still looks a serious proposition
  47. LIBELLULE – Takes a dip in category after giving a reassuring account at home in Sweden early last month. Had had ample time to freshen up and will be no pushover if she takes to French conditions
  48. LINKA D’ADELE – Steps up in category after running 2nd of 14 in a Class G at Le Mont-Saint-Michel 3 weeks ago. Should take well to the Reims profile and must be taken seriously
  49. LASKA DE BLEMONT – Ran an encouraging 5th of 13 over 2600m in Victoria Park 2.5 weeks ago. Hind shoes off for first time, with Alexandre Abrivard in the bike, and is unlikely to be far off the mark
  50. LITTLE MARY – Completely out of the equation in every start since winning at Châlons-en-Champagne 5 months ago and even with hind shoes off will have nothing to contribute
  51. LADY DU CAMPUS – Got off the mark at Nancy in September but out of the picture in next 2 and can expect little support
  52. LESLIE JUTH – Has merit but unexceptional 6th of 7 finishers in a Chartres Class F late last month. Enjoys a front-row break though and cannot be ruled out
  53. LADY DE JOUDES – Did nothing but improve before going for a spell after imposing at Nancy. Is just 80 Euros from incurring the penalty and has every chance of making her Reims bow a successful one
  54. LADY SAINT CHARLES – Unremarkable 6th behind LOVHELEN D’OR (12) at La Capelle 3 weeks ago. Starts on back row here and can expect to have few friends
  55. LOVHELEN D’OR – Honest type that ran 3rd here last month before repeating at La Capelle early this month. On the back line this time but still has the wherewithal to finish in the mix
  56. LEGENDE DU GERS – Capable on a good day but form is heading in the wrong direction, and will need to find significantly more
  57. LAZIE PONT VAUTIER – Has not been particularly performant over recent months. Has previously placed here, and sports a new configuration, but still looks an outsider
  58. LALA QUICK – Complicated but capable filly from a good yard. Has just one run under her belt, but has been reconfigured and, given the entry, should not be overlooked
  59. LOLITA ROLAU – Lacklustre in last 2, latterly trounced at Cabourg. Is well-engaged on back row but still has too much to do
Summary: Given a short rest after losing her maiden tag at Nancy in late-September, Alain Laurent has found a tremendous opportunity to get LADY DE JOUDES (10) right back in the winners’ circle. LUTECE RINGEAT (3) is considerably better than her latest result would suggest and even though fitted with shoes this time, is still a player. Swedish filly LIBELLULE (4) is no star but she has shown decent aptitude, will be reined by Anthony Barrier, and will have her chances if she turns. LINKA D’ADELE (5) has done everything asked of her so far and despite the hike in category still looks competitively well in.

  61. JUMPIE PURPLE – Lost her action on comeback in a Gournay-en-Bray Class H 3 weeks ago. Seldom disappoints when focused but may just be a race shy
  62. JAGGERS – Just missed out on the double in a Châlons-en-Champagne Class E 2 months ago. Comes here fresh and from the 3-spot can return to successful ways
  63. JOYAU DE L’ITON – Was unlucky at Le Croisé-Laroche before running 3rd in a Lyon-Parilly Class F last weekend. Has turned a corner since moving yards and is well-placed to make a big splash
  64. JIKAO – Fine servant that went close on sole Reims start, but has not raced since April and will need the outing
  65. JUNIOUS HEOT – Good, consistent sort taking to Reims for the first time and in excellent shape. Enjoys a front-line break and should figure prominently. Place chance
  66. JURQUES – Ran 4th in a Laon claimer before finishing a place behind JUNIOUS HEOT (6) at Gournay-en-Bray 3 weeks ago. Is forced to break wide but still cannot be ruled out
  67. JULLIAN DADDY – Unexceptional trotter making first appearance since being trounced at La Capelle 2 months ago. Sports a new configuration but the draw does him no favours
  68. JOLIE AGATHA – Has done nothing of note all year, most recently routed by JUNIOUS HEOT (6) at Strasbourg, and can be disregarded
  69. JORDY DU NOYER – Disappointing since returning from his summer break. Runs barefoot for the occasion but can expect to have few takers
  70. JARDIN DE MAHEY – Hardy type that seldom lets the side down when applied. Seen more often at a lower level but in present shape is difficult to ignore
  71. JOLIE BOES – Well-beaten in last 2, latterly in a Castelsarrasin Class F on 19 October, and will have nothing to offer
  72. JAMIN DE BRY – Useful a good day but out of the picture in last 4. Pulled a tough number for Reims debut and is unlikely to cause an upset
  73. JAVA CAILLERIE – Unable to complement her Bihorel-lès-Rouen victory when biting off more than she could chew in Paris 10 days ago. Has been handed a shocker of a draw but is still competitive for a cheque
Summary: Dutch trainer Bastiaan Crebas is no stranger to Reims and is well-represented here. He sends out the ideally-positioned JAGGERS (3) who imposed at Montier-en-Der after a spell, and JUNIOUS HEOT (6) who is plainly close to winning another. Arguably better than one, but not the other, JOYAU DE L’ITON (4) has hardly put a foot wrong lately, has been handed a good draw, and will be no easy touch. Three weeks ago, JOESTAR DES NOES (1) secured his first victory for 14 months, is confirmed here, and easy to fancy for a place on the podium.

  74. MEXICAIN – Got off the mark in a 2550m Class H at Gournay-en-Bray on 28 September. Has been afforded ample time to get back in shape, and although in better company this time, still looks competitively well in
  75. MY NAME IS FLASH – Demolished the opposition in a 2450m Caen Class G 11 days ago. Alexandre Abrivard takes over in the bike and should be able to give MANGANOU DU DOME (9) a run for his money
  76. METEORE ETOILE – Reassuring 4th, a place behind MAJIRO KALOUMA (10), in a Class F at La Capelle 3 weeks ago, but on this occasion will have little to contribute
  77. MEYDAN VOIRONS – Opened his account at first time of asking before failing to deliver at La Capelle. Has been given time to come on and is not incapable of delivering on first start back
  78. MAXIM D’HERTALS – Modest individual that has placed just once in 12 starts and recent numbers do nothing to inspire confidence
  79. MUST WIN DE REM – Got off the mark at Saint-Omer in September but well-beaten in next 2 and can be passed over
  80. MYSTERE DES ARRIS – Pleasant 4th in a Cabourg Class E before confirming in an Amiens Class F 10 days ago. Cannot be considered a priority but can nonetheless play a small role
  81. MAO DU CAMPDOS – Has merit but disappointing 8th of 11 in a Cabourg Class E early last month. Has had time to recalibrate but others still easier to support
  82. MANGANOU DU DOME – Ran 2nd to a very good horse on debut before losing his maiden status on 5 October. Benefits from a good entry and can confirm
  83. MAJIRO KALOUMA – Placed in 3 of 4 prior to being eliminated early in an Amiens Class F 10 days ago, but can get a look in if he gets off on the right foot
  84. MAGIC FRIENDS – Reliability not his strong suit but ran reassuring 2nd of 14 in a 2400m Chateaubriant Class F 12 days ago, and can again get in on the action if he stays focused
  85. MAX DU CAMPDOS – Has kept on improving over recent months, most recently opening his account in a Gournay-en-Bray Class H 3 weeks ago. Takes on a tougher lot this time but is still expected to finish in the mix
Summary: MANGANOU DU DOME (9) could have been coming here undefeated had he not encountered a good Duvaldestin colt first time out. He got off the mark at Bihorel-lès-Rouen early last month though and should be good enough to confirm. Philippe Daugeard will still be wary of the improving MY NAME IS FLASH (2) who has excelled with Yoann Lebourgeois, but who will be ably replaced, and Alain Laurent’s promising MEYDAN VOIRONS (4) who makes his first start since the summer. MEXICAIN (1) came good at a lower level last time out, returns to the track with morale intact, and can challenge for a place in the frame.

  86. MEDINA BOCNEUF – Untried filly from a good home. Qualified in 1’16″8 earlier in the month and is one to keep an eye on
  87. MADAMIGELLA – Got off the mark at Lisieux 3 weeks ago before being eliminated at Caen a fortnight later. Anthony Barrier in the bike this time but still not a player
  88. MAMZELLE D’HERIPRE – Quickly eliminated at Vincennes on first start for Derieux yard. Has evident ability and the change of scenery may be just what the doctor ordered
  89. MY QUEEN DELO – Unexceptional filly making first appearance since running 4th in a Class F on turf 3 months ago, and is not about to shake things up
  90. MOANA DE WALLIS – Showed her limits when 6th of 9 in a 2800m Strasbourg Class E a month ago and is not about to influence the result
  91. MATRIONA – Gave a good account on return when 4th in a Caen Class F last weekend. Will have progressed for the race but still has more to find
  92. MAM’ZELLEPAZENAISE – Courageous 5th in a Strasbourg Class E a month ago. Acquits herself honourably for the most part but will struggle to make her mark here
  93. MIESQUE – Has raced just twice but has done everything asked of her so far. Is clearly a talented future prospect with the wherewithal to get back in the winners’ circle
  94. MESSALINE – Failed to repeat Le Mont-Saint-Michel victory but still fine 3rd of 12 in a Class F over course and distance on 11 October. Has freshness on her side and is not incapable of imposing
  95. MOURASIE LEPINE – Gave a good account on comeback at Nuillé-sur-Vicoin before losing her action in a Nantes Class E late last month. Possesses a certain potential and cannot be ruled out
  96. MAHALIA D’IRAI – Made up for Pornichet effort when 2nd in a Class F at La Capelle 12 days ago. Is clearly in good shape and the engagement of Pierre-Yves Verva bodes well for her chances
  97. MAFIA RINGEAT – Returns to racing right-handed after running eye-catching 4th in a Class E at Le Croise-Laroche on 27 October. Is not a priority but with form maintained can again make first 5
Summary: Winner on debut before just missing out at Strasbourg earlier in the month, MIESQUE (8) comes to a track that should suit her and, given the stable’s form, is easy to like for the win. She will still come under pressure from the promising MESSALINE (9) who left a very good impression under these conditions last month, and MAMZELLE D’HERIPRE (3) whose change of stable may just start to bear fruit. MAHALIA D’IRAI (11) got back in the game at La Capelle and can repeat if Pierre-Yves Verva keeps her trotting.

  98. NADIR – Has been held back since qualifying well at Caen last May. Hails from a yard adept with young horses and is one to monitor closely
  99. NINA SIMONE – Qualified in 1’21″0 at Meslay-du-Maine in early-July. Comes from a decent yard and would not be here if not ready. First 5
  100. NOBLESS DU NOYER – Put in a fine performance to qualify in 1’17″1 at Meslay-du-Maine 11 days ago. Takes on a good bunch first time out but will not be far off the mark if as good in competition
  101. NOOR DE MONCHEL – Unremarkable in July’s qualification at Amiens and in this company will struggle to make her presence felt
  102. NORWEGIAN ISLAND – Looked decidedly ordinary in a Class F at La Capelle on 11 November, first time out, and is not about to spice things up
  103. NIDORINO DU COTIDA – Last but one on debut before running 3rd of 5 over 1750m at Mons in mid-October, and looks thoroughly out of his depth
  104. NICOU CHAK – Qualified well in Gelsenkirchen before running 4th of 11in a 2050m Cabourg Class E a month ago. Will have come on for the run and can put on a better show this time
  105. NASHIRA – Imposed at first time of asking but less impressive at least Croise-Laroche on 27 October. Has more to find but is not entirely out of the equation
  106. NEO VANILLA – Unthreatening 3rd in an incident-filled Class E over course and distance on 19 October before losing her action at Strasbourg 3 weeks ago, and can expect to have few takers
  107. NINJA D’AIMTE – Eliminated at Chateaubriant 12 days ago when sent out deserved favourite. Driven by Pierre-Yves Verva this time and can make a big impact if he keeps his colt’s mind on the job
  108. NEEDREAM – Sprang a 72-1 surprise when 5th of 14 in a 2400m Chateaubriant Class E on 11 November, although a repeat seems highly unlikely
  109. NOVATO BELLO – Showed significant improvement 3 weeks ago when 2nd of 12 in a Chartres Class F, beaten only by a very good horse. Is plainly close to his race and can get his nose in front if he takes to the new conditions
Summary: Left to come on after qualifying respectably at Le Mans in July, NOVATO BELLO (12) has since produced 2 solid efforts and, partnered by Alexandre Abrivard this time, can lose his maiden status. It will still be worth fearing the talented NINJA D’AIMTE (10) who will be no soft touch if he stays focused, and NICOU CHAK (7) whose Cabourg debut did not go unnoticed. From a yard in excellent shape, the well-qualified debutant, NOBLESS DU NOYER (3), looks competitively well in.

They renew their rivalry and certainly holds the form to back them up to do so. PAS DE VELOURS (4) was a solid winner last time out and if the top two choices fluff their lines, this vixen could very well take full advantage of that. YACHT SHOW (3) returns after a six month rest and if the freshener is not needed, he can deliver a solid performance. PERSIS (4) has finished 2nd in two of her three starts and despite the last run being in a weak claiming race, she has every chance in this line-up. Summary: SIR CRATER (3) brings ultra-consistent form into the race , having won two out of his last three starts. His last run was another honest effort and he could be tough to beat. FILLE D’ARGENTINE (1) can be forgiven for the last effort and judged on penultimate victory at this course over 2000m. She should be right there at the finish. DSCHINGIS NOBLESSE (8) is having her 12th bite at the cherry for the win. She has more of a place chance that a winning one for today.
