R1 VINCENNES [L-H]
C1 – FINALE DU GRAND NATIONAL DES AMATEURS – 2850m (a2m) – Class E Amateur Drivers – Harness – EUR € 17,000
- JOUR DE JUIN – Never easy to handle but showed his good side at Nantes earlier in the month. Sports front pads this time and with stride in check can make his presence felt
- HOBBY DE L’EVRE – Ran 6th at Nantes before coming 5th in the Mauquenchy race of reference and is unlikely to influence the result
- ILEVEN – Twice an amateur winner during the spring. Has been showing his form at Chartres, races barefoot for the first time since May, and benefits from a front-line break. One to watch
- INTOUCHABLE AR – Out of the picture in 4 starts since placing at Meslay in September and appears to have no possible chance
- JUST REMEMBER – Won a pair before being eliminated in a similar event over 2700m here 2 weeks ago. Should not be too hastily condemned and, shod to preference, can apply the pressure on INOA DE SOMOZA (15)
- JAGUAR’S EYES – Made good amateur debut in mid-October, running 2nd to JUST REMEMBER (5) at Feurs. Has twice failed to make his presence felt in the professional ranks since, but goes barefoot and could well play a small part
- JACKSON HILL – Difficult to knock at present, most recently running 3rd to HYPER HAUFOR (12) at Mauquenchy on 19 November. Is not the biggest fan of the main track though and cannot be considered a player
- HARABICA – Twice 2nd in the professional ranks before suffering interference in the Mauquenchy stage on 19 November. Is well in on the front line and can put in a good showing for Vincennes bow. First 5
- JACKPOT D’ORGUEIL – Returns to the category after 3 lacklustre autumn runs. Does not enjoy the best of entries and is unlikely to make any waves
- FIFTY WINNER – Modest individual that has made no impact at any level since the summer. Races barefoot but is still out of his depth
- ICONE PLANCHETTE – Superior winner of the Vincennes leg early this month before enduring a bad trip 10 days later. Form is not in question and can make amends if Pauline Cavanie settles her early
- HYPER HAUFOR – Has turned a corner since returning to the day’s configuration. Made short work of an amateurs Class F at Mauquenchy 11 days ago and will again be competitive for a place in the mix
- HEROS DHELPA – Pleasant 4th at Enghien in October prior to being disqualified from 3rd in the Mauquenchy stage. Has demonstrated decent aptitude in this category but will still need to find more
- HEAVEN D’ECAJEUL – Fine servant with excellent amateur credentials. Ran 2nd to HYPER HAUFOR (12) at Mauquenchy, has never failed to deliver at this level here, and should not be entirely overlooked
- INOA DE SOMOZA – Has enjoyed a wonderfully productive year, winning 7 of 9, latterly in the professional ranks. Has tasted defeat just once at this level and should be able to wrap this up
- HISTOIRE DU LUPIN – In cracking form for past 4 months, most recently winning a Châtelaillon Class E unopposed, and given her appreciation of Vincennes conditions must be considered a leading protagonist
Summary: A wonderful campaigner that has swept almost all before her this year, INOA DE SOMOZA (15) is unbeaten when barefoot at Vincennes and has a legitimate claim on the title. JUST REMEMBER (5) has been a revelation since being switched to the amateur category, will be 25m better off, and is undefeated in the day’s configuration. HYPER HAUFOR (12) ran out a superb winner of the Mauquenchy leg on 19 November and even from the second row must be taken seriously. Nicely-entered here, and currently at the top of her game, HISTOIRE DU LUPIN (16) trounced the opposition in the professional ranks at Châtelaillon 3 weeks ago and returns to a track she likes with a good hand to play.

C2 – PRIX PHILIPPE DU ROZIER – 2175m (a1m1/4) – Gr2 – Mounted – EUR € 120,000 - LOVELY JENILOU – Disappointing in last 2 starts under harness. Returns to a code she has shown no aptitude for and can be confidently disregarded
- LAREINE D’OURVILLE – Not without merit but is biting off more than she can chew here and will have few takers
- LOCHAN – Capable on a good day and has a pair of fresheners under his belt. Competitively-shod this time but others still preferred
- LAMBADA DU GOUTIER – Showed tenacity to finish 4th to LAKANA DE FELLIERE (6) in Prix Olry-Roederer but eliminated in 6 November race of reference. With application though, Paul Ploquin can guide her in for a first-5 payout
- LAFOLLY DELO – 2nd in a Gr.3 to LAKANA DE FELLIERE (6) before enduring some poor luck in a Class B over the inner track 9 days ago. is plainly on the way up though and is not one to be overlooked
- LAKANA DE FELLIERE – Quality filly that ran a creditable 2nd to LIONHEART (9) here earlier in the month. Sports pads once more and looks the main threat
- LOOPING DAY – Has not been seen out since failing to fire in an Enghien harness Gr.3 in early-August. Is barefoot for comeback but still not a concern
- LUCKY JACKSON – Has not placed in either code since last April. Is twice a winner under these conditions but looks more a minor place prospect on this occasion
- LIONHEART – Comfortably won Gr.1 Prix des Elites over course and distance before sensationally dominating the Gr.2 Prix Ceneri Forcinal on 6 November, and should logically have this in the bag
- LITTLE ORELIE – 5th to LIONHEART (9) in Prix Ceneri Forcinal here on 6 November. Will be better off over the day’s trip and has every chance of making the frame this time
Summary: By some margin the classiest horse in the race, LIONHEART (9) is the current standard-bearer of his generation and it will take something special to beat him. Leading the opposition, is Gr.3 Prix Olry-Roederer winner and recent 2nd to Eric Raffin’s colt in the Gr.2 Prix Ceneri Forcinal, LAKANA DE FELLIERE (6), and LITTLE ORELIE (10) who has a particular liking for 2175m here. LAFOLLY DELO (5) is being sent back up in category despite suffering interference last time out and Alexandre Abrivard will be quietly confident.

C3 – PRIX SALON MER ET VIGNE (OPEN 3 ANS) – 2850m (a2m) – Gr3 – Harness – EUR € 70,000 - MENTOR DE PLAY – Has looked rather ordinary since placing over 2700m here early last month, and will need to raise his game
- MUSIKO CAUVELLIERE – Handy sort making Vincennes debut following some solid clockwise performances. Is confirmed going left-handed but nonetheless looks a minor place chance at best
- MAITRE D’HOULBEC – Has shown a different side since the spring, recently imposing in Marseille, but is being aimed too high this time
- MERRY CHRISTMAS – Makes his debut in the capital after winning an Agen Class A on 18 November. Takes on some better horses this time though and probably best to monitor
- MARS COBBA – Below-par 3rd of 9 to MARADONA ELLIS (7) in a 2850m Mauquenchy Class A on 19 November. Has otherwise been a model of consistency and has a realistic chance of picking up some prizemoney
- MAMBO DU TAILLIS – Comfortable winner of a Laval Class A 2 weeks ago. Has come into himself since the summer, has taken particularly well to Vincennes conditions, and can once again contest the finish
- MARADONA ELLIS – Opened his account for new trainer 11 days ago when easily securing a Mauquenchy Class A. Has a lot more to give and should prove competitive when it matters. Place chance
- MARIE OH FREDLAU – Has turned a corner recently, firstly imposing at Enghien, then repeating in an Argentan Class A early this month. Has yet to make it around the main track unscathed but in current form is still easy to like
- MOONWALK D’HERIPRE – Quality colt that just keeps getting better. Excels with his driver, enjoys a good entry, and can secure his first hat-trick
- MAGICO DE LOU – Yet to get off the mark but has respectable Vincennes references. Incurs the penalty though and is unlikely to spring any great surprises
Summary: Beaten just the once in his last 5 starts, MOONWALK D’HERIPRE (9) flew up here before repeating at Laval early this month, and once again has a legitimate claim. Eric Raffin will come into the race justifiably bullish but he will still be mindful of MAMBO DU TAILLIS (6) who most recently won a Laval Class A, and MARADONA ELLIS (7) who landed a Class A himself, but at Mauquenchy. MARIE OH FREDLAU (8) lost her way during the summer but has since scored 2 on the trot, and will not be far from the action if she deigns to keep trotting.

C4 – FINALE DU GRAND NATIONAL DU TROT – 2850m (a2m) – Gr2 – Harness – EUR € 150,000 - JONGLEUSE DE LUNE – Hardy mare that has had the benefit of 2 fresheners following a 5 months’ break. Goes barefoot for the occasion but is biting off more than she can chew
- JESON BOY – Excellent following his spring-summer break, winning 3 for 3, latterly heading Indy De Jyr in GNT stage at Feurs on 15 October. Faces a tougher task this time but still has the wherewithal to get in on the action
- HOLD UP DU DIGEON – Failed to confirm surprise Nantes 2nd place when eliminated in a Class B here last weekend, and would have better prospects at a lower level
- HOLD UP DU SAPTEL – Honest type with solid GNT form but has not been seen out since August and will have other ambitions
- IBIZA BELLA – No slouch on a good day, and has form at this level, but recent results do little to inspire confidence
- JILORD VIVA – Ran 2nd in the Meslay edition in September, has since excelled in Paris, and although the hat-trick is highly unlikely, he should nevertheless hold his own
- KAMEHAMEHA – Got back down to business in the Nantes leg on 5 November. Also ran 5th in Criterium des 5 Ans in September, but in the absence of Eric Raffin cannot be considered a priority
- JEANNETTE PRIORY – Would have pulled off a hat-trick had she not lost her action late in Mauquenchy edition 11 days ago. Alexandre Abrivard in the bike this time, starts in front, and will justifiably garner significant support
- JINGLE DU PONT – Put away after trouncing the opposition in an Enghien Class B 4 months ago. Has three conditioners under his belt since and from the front row can run away with this
- ILLUSION JIPAD – Has done nothing but improve lately, most recently running 2nd in GNT leg at Mauquenchy, however a repeat seems most improbable
- HUBBLE DU VIVIER – Left a good impression when 3rd of 11 in a 2700m Class A here a fortnight ago. Is proven at this level and with 9 GNT Final wins to his name, Jean-Michel Bazire will be involved at the business end of the race
- HULYSSE DIGEO – Somewhat made up for his Gr.1 Grand Prix de l’UET disappointment when 3rd, a place behind HANNIBAL TUILERIE (16), in a Gr.3 over course and distance 3 weeks ago. Has a particular liking for these conditions and must be taken seriously
- HARLEY GEMA – Winner of her last 2, most recently the last GNT leg at Mauquenchy on 19 November. On the back line, but boasts excellent 2850m credentials and will be competitive for a place on the podium
- GRACE DU DIGEON – Showed improvement when 5th in Mauquenchy race of reference, although in this company her chances looks notably slim
- GENDREEN – Has ample ability but reliability not his strong suit. Goes barefoot for this tough challenge and is not about to spring a surprise
- HANNIBAL TUILERIE – Surprise 2nd in a Gr.3 over track and trip 3 weeks ago before being conditioned in Mauquenchy leg 11 days later. Is unlikely to create an upset but with David Thomain in the bike will be afforded every chance
- HORCHESTRO – Serious sort that was never pushed when 5th to Jushua Tree in a Gr.3 under these conditions a month back. Will have been brought to his peak for this and Eric Raffin can be justifiably confident. Claim
- IBIKI DE HOUELLE – Well-regarded element with a good GNT record. Has 2 runs in him since the break, and will race barefoot, but others still preferred
Summary: In the absence of series winner Indy De Jyr, this GNT Final looks a very open affair. HORCHESTRO (17) however is one of the toughest horses here and recent results belie his true quality. Eric Raffin is on a quest for a 3rd straight GNT Final win and will not be shy about making the point. Winner of the Laval leg, JINGLE DU PONT (9) has been prepared through the autumn for this, goes barefoot, and the 25m head-start will do his prospects no disservice. HARLEY GEMA (13) may have picked up her Mauquenchy victory after JEANNETTE PRIORY (8) was eliminated but is still in rude health and will not go down easily. Already a Gr.2 winner this year, HULYSSE DIGEO (12) recently held his own in a Gr.3 here and is very easy to like. HUBBLE DU VIVIER (11) will have JMB in the bike this time.
SELECTIONS

C5 – PX DES PMU D’ILE DE FRANCE (OPEN 4 ANS) – 2850m (a2m) – Gr3 – Harness – EUR € 80,000 - LE BARON BEZILLAT – Ran 2nd here before imposing at Nantes 2 weeks ago. Sports a new configuration, with JMB in the bike, but still seems to be taking on too much
- LAHIRE DE NAPPES – Returned well to competition late last month and just 2.5 weeks ago held his own on main-track debut. Sports modified shoeing and even at this level can finish in the mix
- LUCIFER DU PONT – 4th in a 2700m Class D here on 14 November, on first objective of the meeting, but has more to find in order to trouble the opposition
- LARA MAKS – Won 3 in a row before being trounced in a 2100m Class D here on 14 November and, considering the company, can be confidently passed over
- LORDIUS – Versatile trotter that has won 2 of last 3, most recently with authority at Mauquenchy, and should again play a leading role
- LADY DU CHATELET – Can prove tricky but is otherwise dynamic when barefoot. Has been showing her form but is up against the colts this time and chances limited
- L’ENVIE D’HERFRAIE – Handy filly that should not be too hastily-condemned for faulting at Argentan earlier in the month, but will still have a tough time of it against the boys
- LOVER MAUZUN – Sent for a spell in early-September after completing the 3-timer. Imposed on comeback in a Lyon-Parilly Class A 2 weeks ago and looks competitive for the win once again
- LEGACY JIEL – Serious colt with a liking for Vincennes conditions. Ran 2nd on sole start under these conditions and, with 25 fewer metres to race this time, can return to the winners’ enclosure
- LOUSTIC DELAURIERE – Honest type that was oddly below-par at Laval mid-month. Has yet to shine at Vincennes but is no slouch when focused and has the wherewithal to play a small role
- LE BOLIDE – Changes direction after winning a brace going clockwise. Has form at the venue and although not a priority, cannot be entirely ruled out either
- LEOPOLD – Has made the frame in all but one start since imposing at Cagnes in July. Has a lot going for him here and is not incapable of making his Vincennes debut a winning one
- LORD DE LOIRON – Surprisingly beaten by LAHIRE DE NAPPES (2) at Le Croise-Laroche earlier this month. Incurs the penalty once more but, with Alexandre Abrivard in the bike, will be expected to figure prominently
Summary: Winner at Chartres before missing the break at Mauquenchy recently, LEGACY JIEL (9) will have no handicap to incur this time around and is marginally preferred to LOVER MAUZUN (8) who picked up on re-entry mid-month where he left off in early-September. LORDIUS (5) had the measure of Benjamin Rochard’s horse 11 days ago and should again put in a good showing. LEOPOLD (12) has been knocking at the door, races first-time barefoot, enjoys a terrific entry, and will be reined by Eric Rafin for the occasion.

C6 – PRIX RFM (PRIX DE L’EURE) – 2850m (a2m) – Class D – Harness – EUR € 59,000 - JAVANAIS DELO – Capable on a good day but tends to go better on the Riviera and with shoes on will have nothing to contribute
- IRRESISTIBLE PAJ – Unlucky here in late-October before running 2nd to CHITCHAT (4) at Mauquenchy 11 days ago. Continues in the same configuration and with application should not be far off the mark
- HUMANITY PELLINI – Took no time getting back in the winners’ enclosure, brilliantly winning a 2100m Class C here on 14 November, and will again generate a lot of interest
- CHITCHAT – Did not miss a beat on his recent re-entry, dominating a 2850m Mauquenchy Class D on 19 November. Is unlikely to repeat but can still pick up a first-5 cheque
- JOBSPOST – Won 9 from 10 at home in Sweden before losing his action on recent Vincennes bow. Benjamin Rochard stays faithful and will be primed to set the record straight
- HAIKIDO – Starts for the first time since running 4th in a Class D over course and distance 2 months ago, but cannot be considered a priority this time
- JE TE CHERCHE – High-calibre trotter with a particular flair for course and distance, and will be very hard to oppose
- FIGHTER SIMONI – Made amends for late-September clinker when outclassing the opposition in a Bordeaux Class C 2.5 weeks ago. Is proven under these conditions but still represents a minor place chance at best
- JOLIVERT DU GERS – Generous individual that ran 2nd to FIGHTER SIMONI (8) in a 2650m Bordeaux Class C 2.5 weeks ago, and has a lot of ground to make up
- JIBI DU FRUITIER – Has not won for some time but consistently gives his best. Is confirmed at a superior level and is unlikely to be returning home empty-handed
- MATEO DI QUATTRO – Has been giving a decent account of himself lately, returns to conditions he adores, and with Eric Raffin in the bike will be no soft touch
- IN LOVE MESLOIS – Ran pleasant 5th in Laval Class E mid-month, however in this field will struggle to make his mark
- MISTER DONALD – Has not been seen out since early-September. Stays shod and will have nothing to offer
Summary: JE TE CHERCHE (7) showed us late last month that he needed no time getting back to his best following a well-earned layoff and, simply superb over 2850m, is going to take all the beating. Theo Duvaldestin will still be keeping an eye on the wonderfully-productive Swedish JOBSPOST (5) who lost his chance at the start here 10 days ago, and compatriot HUMANITY PELLINI (3) who has been continuing his love affair with Vincennes. MATEO DI QUATTRO (11) has never failed to deliver here and Eric Raffin gets the nod.

C7 – LETROT OPEN DES REGIONS – 5 ANS – 2850m (a2m) – Gr3 – Harness – EUR € 80,000 - KANCALAIS – Has taken his game to a new level recently, latterly running 2nd to KELYO DU SOLNAN (9) at Laval, and will not be sent out at 69-1 this time
- KANSAS QUESNOT – Quality sort returning to the code after a modest effort under the saddle here 9 days ago. Is still being conditioned and cannot be regarded a priority
- KARA D’OR – Made up for Lyon-La Soie performance when runner-up to KOTKIE (14) in a Class A at Le Croise-Laroche 3 weeks ago. Is new to these conditions but goes barefoot again and with application can play a small role
- KALMIO DE LOU – Not the most dependable horse here but encouraged when 3rd, a place behind KALITA D’HENINEL (11), in a Mauquenchy Class A 11 days ago. Is never far from faulting but with Eric Raffin reining will have his supporters
- KOOL GEORGES – Winner of his last 2 barefoot runs, most recently a 3000m Nantes Class A 2 weeks ago. Takes on a better lot here but receives a Matthieu Abrivard drive this time and can get a look in
- KASH DES CAILLONS – Returns to racing barefoot after being given a freshener at Argentan but still has a lot more to find
- KENDRICK – Has hardly put a foot out of line since the summer, most recently running 2nd to KOOL GEORGES (5) in a Nantes Class A mid-month, however a repeat seems unlikely
- KRYSTAL PIYA – Quality element that ran 3rd of 15 in a 2700m Class C here, on comeback, late last month. Is plainly close to his race and with shoes off for the occasion can strike
- KELYO DU SOLNAN – Showed solid progress at Châtelaillon before dominating a Laval Class A mid-month. Enjoys a good entry and can make a big impact if he takes to the new conditions
- KRAFEN – Has pleased for the most part recently, latterly running 4th to KARNAC WOOD (12) at Argentan, but will find this a tougher challenge
- KALITA D’HENINEL – Very hard to knock when barefoot these days. Thrives with Benjamin Rochard, has been knocking at the door, and even from the back row can give this a good go. First 5
- KARNAC WOOD – Won a Class B here before confirming in an Argentan Class A on 2 November. Has won 3 of 4 in the day’s configuration and even from the 2nd row will be no pushover
- KROONER D’HERIPRE – Classy element that continues being prepared ahead of his first objective of the winter and best to keep one’s powder dry
- KOTKIE – Won 3 of last 5 starts, most recently a Class A at Le Croise-Laroche 3 weeks ago. Alexis Collette keeps the drive and should not be far off the mark
Summary: A good, consistent servant, KRYSTAL PIYA (8) ran 3rd in a Class C here on last month’s re-entry. He will have come on for the race and, with shoes off for the first time, may just be the horse to beat. KELYO DU SOLNAN (9) was highly-impressive at Laval and gets a front line break here. Runner-up to him that day, KANCALAIS (1) should again figure prominently, but may first have to defer to second-row starter KARNAC WOOD (12) who earlier this month completed his second hat-trick.

C8 – FINALE DU GRAND NATIONAL DES JOCKEYS – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class C – Mounted – EUR € 68,000 - JACARANDA – Picked up over course and distance late last month where he left off in June. Simply thrives over 2700m here and is in with a serious shout of confirming
- JOLLY CHIC – Undefeated in 5 ridden starts, including 3 in last 2 months. Is confirmed under these conditions and looks a serious proposition
- JUS DE FRUIT – Is not without merit and has form at this level but will need to show marked improvement on latest effort
- HORSY ROYAL – Unplaced in last 2, latterly 6th JOLLY CHIC (2) at Mauquenchy, and even racing barefoot, will have nothing to contribute
- HELIUM DE L’ITON – Got back in the game in mid-October when 3rd to HOLD UP DES VENTES (12) in an Enghien Class D, but is simply taking on too much this time
- JEZABELLE BIE – Faces first objective of the winter meeting after a trio of conditioners. Is a Gr.1 winner over course and distance and even though shod must still be taken seriously
- IKURO JIEL – Gave a reassuring account when 2nd in a Caen Class D early last month, but still has more to find
- JOUR DE FETE – Returns to the code after a pair of unexceptional harness fresheners. Has won over 2175m here and with Alexandre Abrivard aboard is unlikely to be far from the action
- HELLO JADE RUSH – Ran surprisingly good race at Enghien late last month but was unable to confirm 10 days later, and can be ruled out
- JALENDRA DE MALAC – Gave a fine account of herself on comeback in a harness Class A here early this month. Takes first competitive monte steps with a leading pilot in the irons and is easy to fancy for the win
- HARMONY LA NUIT – Has not been seen under the saddle since last Christmas, but does have respectable references. Is clearly in decent shape and with shoes off for the occasion could well make first 5
- HOLD UP DES VENTES – Flew up in an Enghien Class D on 12 October before chasing down a good thing 10 days later. Takes on a marginally better bunch this time but still looks competitively well in
Summary: A thrilling race in prospect with a number in contention. A class act under harness for the past 14 months, JALENDRA DE MALAC (10) will be reunited with Eric Raffin for her monte debut and is arguably a better bet than a reconfigured JOLLY CHIC (2) who has yet to taste defeat in this branch of the business. JACARANDA (1) routed the field under these very conditions, on his comeback, late last month and a similar performance would see him secure a 7th straight Vincennes victory. HOLD UP DES VENTES (12) similarly boasts a fine ridden record and is unlikely to disappoint.

C9 – PRIX DE SAULT – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class E – Harness – EUR € 41,000 - KELLY DU RIL – Lightly-raced element with considerable talent but is still being prepared and best to hold off
- KIARA MAURICIENNE – Left a good impression in a Nantes Class B on 5 November. Is barefoot for the first time at Vincennes but still represents no more than a minor place chance
- KYRIELLE JOMUNA – 2nd at 83-1 in a Class D here in early-October but was unable to repeat when unplaced behind KLOE D’ARRY (9) in a 2100m Class F on 4 November, and can expect to have few takers
- KOTKITA – Won 2 from 3 before being eliminated in 3 straight and, talented or not, will not be easy to trust
- KIARA BLUE – Capable mare but has just one race under her belt since her Laval comeback, and would be preferred barefoot
- KHALEESI LA VIE – Placed on Laval re-entry in September but has since come off the boil and will have few friends in the markets
- KIARA DU SAPTEL – Unable to confirm Châtelaillon victory when 7th behind KALINE DE COSSE (13) in a Laval Class E early this month, and will need to find more
- KADECOLE DE GUERRE – Capable type that has enjoyed a productive year. Tends to go well for Mathieu Mottier, is barefoot for just 2nd time in her career, and will be competitive for a place in the picture
- KLOE D’ARRY – In the frame in 3 of last 4, most recently 2nd of 15 in a 2100m Class F here on 4 November. Steps up in category but in current condition is easy to recommend
- KATITZI – Like a horse transformed since returning to competition. Will return to Vincennes on the boil and can make this her own
- KISMIE GRIFF – Complicated sort that has been showing better aptitude for the monte code and can be passed over
- KOMINA – Showed marked improvement at Cabourg late last month on just 2nd start back. Has had time to freshen up and although not a priority is still worth monitoring
- KALINE DE COSSE – Arnaud Leduc has taken his time with her this term. Showed significant ability in this configuration last season and enjoys a terrific entry. Chance
- KAPELLA DAIRPET – Quality element that lost her action early at Laval. Will be fully fit by now though and will be competitive provided she gets off on the right foot
- KARLIE MALCO – Faithful servant for the most part, latterly a place behind KALINE DE COSSE (13) in a Laval Class E early this month. Damien Bonne reining this time and, considering the engagement, should be taken seriously
- KITTY PIYA – Back under harness after running 4th in a monte Class E here last Tuesday. Not a priority but benefits from an excellent entry and can pick up some prizemoney
Summary: A good class of horse that seldom lets the side down, KATITZI (10) gave a pleasant account on her main-track debut early this month before being prepped at Reims, and racing barefoot this time can open her winter account. That being said, KALINE DE COSSE (13) will be competitively-shod for her first objective of the meeting and looks the main threat. Eliminated early at Laval, KAPELLA DAIRPET (14) will be entrusted to Benjamin Rochard this time who will be eager to put things right. KADECOLE DE GUERRE (8) was by no means disgraced here recently, goes barefoot this time, and Mathieu Mottier will be expecting to finish closer.

- BLACKBIRD – Has been absent since a 3rd over 3900m at Pau on December 31st in a Class 2 chase. Placed over hurdles twice in 2024. Hard to discount if fit to go
- LAYON DES OBEAUX – Unplaced on the one run this year over 3500m at Nantes in a Class 3 hurdle on November 12th. He won in September 2024 over hurdles at Saint-Malo. Key chance
- FOLKORIKO – Won over 4250m in a Class 3 chase at Argentan on November 9th last time out. Back over hurdles and is one to keep safe
- LORD DAMS – Placed 4th on his last run over 3800m at Angers on November 22nd in a Class 4 hurdle. Makes limited appeal
- LESEDI DE KERZA – Unplaced on the only start over 3400m at Angers in a Class 2 hurdle on November 2nd. Showed talent and can make the frame
- LISTO UN – Unplaced last time, 3rd previously on debut over 3600m at Argentan on October 11th in a Class 4 hurdle race. Others rate higher
- PRUNELLE DU JURA – She scored on her sole start over 3800m at Saint-Brieuc in a Class 4 hurdle on November 11th. Open to more improvement and warrants respect
- LOVERBOY DESLITAUX – Finished 5th at Angers on his last run over 3800m in a Class 4 hurdle on November 22nd. Unlikely to be a threat
- FOR LIFE – Three unplaced efforts of late, 8th on the flat over 2650m in a Class 3 race on August 21st. He has placed form over fences this year. Opposable
