C3 – PRIX DU SALON D’ORLEANS – 1900m (a1m1/4) – ALL WEATHER – Newcomers – Flat – EUR € 27,400 - ZAKIYYAH GOLD – Dam won once over 1600m and the full brother Marjaan won three times from 2000-2400m. Trainer can get them ready first up
- CHAMALI – Dam won nine times in England, the USA and Canada which included wins all the way to Group 1 level. Makes plenty of appeal and could be worth including
- SACRIFICE – 360,000 Euros purchase as a yearling. Dam won twice over 1600/2000m and this son of Zarak could be ready to produce a significant effort first up. Winning chance
- TOLEO – This son of Toronado make very little appeal on paper and doesn’t appear as one who could challenge on debut. Easy to look elsewhere
- TREAT ME NICE – Dam won over 1650m and this colt is a first foal so there aren’t any siblings to compare him with. One to pass by
- STAR CHAMPION – Dam was a maiden but everything in this colts pedigree suggests that he’s looking for this trip and further. 1/2 brother to G.1 Irish Oaks 3rd French Claim. One to monitor in the market
- SALITOS – Dam remained a maiden and there isn’t much to write home about with this colts pedigree. Others inspire more confidence
- PARVAGE – Dam won once over 1400m in Germany and this colt hails from a yard that can get them ready on debut. Trainer is operating at a 11.9% win strike rate
- MARVELLOUS CITY – Dam won once over 2400m but this colt hails from a yard that aren’t known for debut winners. One to pass by on debut
- PETIT ROBIN – Dam won four times from 2200-2500m but this is the first foal to be running and doesn’t come from a yard that are known for debut winners. Not today
- CONSPIRATOR – Dam was a maiden but this son of New Bay has quite a useful pedigree and there’s lots to suggest he will enjoy 1900m on debut. Yard is going at an 8% win strike rate
- PAINT THE TOWN RED – There aren’t any siblings to use as a yardstick with this filly and she will likely need the experience first up. Hard to recommend
- HATANKA FAL – Dam raced once for a minor cheque and this filly is a half sister to Havrianka who won three times over 2400m. Could earn a cheque
- SEA NYMPH – This filly is related to three others who haven’t been able to get out the maiden ranks despite a few chances. Clear second choice from the yard
- AUSTRALIAN ROMANCE – Dam won once over 1800m and this filly should have no issue wit this trip at the first time of asking. One to include in the play
- TSAVERNA – This filly doesn’t jump off the page and will need to be fairly special to be able to win this. Trainer has only had 1 winner this year
Summary: SACRIFICE (3) hails from a yard that know how to get them ready at the first time of asking and there is lots to like about his chances here. He has the right draw and should produce a strong performance. PARVAGE (8) doesn’t jump off the page on pedigree but could be showing some useful work back at home and is for a combination that know what it takes to win on debut. CONSPIRATOR (11) is a well bred sort who goes over what looks to be the right trip on debut and should have lots to offer. AUSTRALIAN ROMANCE (15) gets an additional allowance from the apprentice and in receipt of this much weight, it just enhances her claims.

Summary: CAPITOL HILL (6) has had a number of chances to get it right but has been so consistent that it is actually very hard to fault his form. He could well score here with a bit of luck in running. DIVA CHIQUITA (7) is far better than her latest outing and back in a race where the weights favors her, she could be very competitive at the finish. MIA FAST (14) comes into this with a handy galloping weight and that should see her posting a very useful effort in this event. I LIKED IT (4) finished just ahead of the top choice last time out and there shouldn’t be a lot to choose between them once again. Include in the play.
