R1 VINCENNES [L-H]
C1 – PRIX DE THOISSEY – 2200m (a1m1/2) – Class E – Mounted – EUR € 35,000
- MARIA – Back under the saddle after finishing last but one in a 2700m Graignes harness Class F a month ago. Cannot be regarded a priority but with Victor Saussaye in the irons will be afforded every chance
- MADRYADE DE CHENU – Was going well when eliminated in a Nantes harness Class G a fortnight ago. Oscar Placier in the irons for monte bow and will not be far off the mark if he manages to keep her focused
- MALAVITA RULES – Unexceptional filly that looked decidedly ordinary when 8th behind MODIG VIKING (9) in 11 December race of reference and can be confidently ruled out
- MISS NICE – Gave a good account at Nantes mid-month following her elimination. Is new to the monte code but is clearly in shape and Benjamin Rochard will afford her every chance. Place prospect
- MYRCIA – Ran 3rd on monte debut but eliminated in next 2 and others easier to support
- MILAZZIA – Opened her harness account at Chartres last month before running 4th in a Mauquenchy harness Class F early this month. Has yet to deliver under the saddle but in present form is easy to fancy for a place in the picture
- MALDA DU RIB – Left a good impression when 3rd of 16 in a 2750m Cabourg Class E on 6 December. Deserves to race in this company and has a reasonable chance of finishing in the mix
- MADERE – Starts for the first time since losing her maiden status in a 2750m Cabourg Class F on 15 October. Will have been prepared for this and even though unconfirmed racing left-handed, is still easy to like for a first-5 cheque
- MODIG VIKING – Gave a fine account in a Class E over course and distance on 11 December. Will have progressed for the run and has every chance of getting off the mark
- MISS DE BEYLEV – Makes just 2nd appearance under the saddle after showing improvement in last 2 harness starts, but still looks to be out of her league
- MISS TAVEL – Sent for a spell after running 2nd under the saddle at Enghien in October. Disappointing 9th behind MODIG VIKING (9) on re-entry and appears to need another run
Summary: Useful under harness, MODIG VIKING (9) turned his hand nicely to the monte game earlier this month and looks eminently capable of imposing this time. MILAZZIA (6) returns to the code following a pair of decent harness runs and will be no pushover if Mehdi Lelievre keeps her focused. Although eliminated as often as not, MISS NICE (4) showed her form at Nantes mid-month and Benjamin Rochard stays faithful for her monte bow. Still in the running when also eliminated that day, MADRYADE DE CHENU (2) may just find her way in this branch of the business.

C2 – PRIX DE DIGNAC – 2850m (a2m) – Class D – Mounted – EUR € 40,000 - L’AS DE COEUR – Well-regarded but has failed to produce the goods in 3 starts this term and will need to show marked improvement
- LAURO FLIGNY – In the frame in 2 here before failing to deliver behind LILIUS DE GUEZ (7) over the main track late last month. Will be fresh and can get a look in if he takes to the inner course profile
- LOOKING D’AURCY – Authoritative winner of a Class E over course and distance on 1 December before freshening up under harness last week. Plainly has considerable untapped potential and will be expected to repeat
- LOTI SOLO – Has shown considerable ability under the saddle but has looked ordinary so far this term. Goes barefoot for the occasion but others still easier to back
- LORD DE BANVILLE – Unexceptional and heavily-campaigned colt that ran 6th in 24 December race of reference and is not about to create an upset
- LUKAS D’OLIVERIE – Not always the easiest of horses to handle but ran reassuring 2nd to LABEL DE TILLARD (11) over the main track on 7 December. Is not about to turn the tables but should still not be far from the action
- LILIUS DE GUEZ – Has been on a fine run of form over recent weeks, latterly 3rd of 10, a place behind LENNON D’HERFRAIE (9) in a 2700m Class D here on Christmas Eve. Unlikely to get his nose in front but can still trot his way onto the podium
- LORENZO BERRY – Quality element that that has failed to deliver under harness this term. Will be fully fit and makes his monte bow with a potentially good hand to play
- LENNON D’HERFRAIE – Left a good impression on monte debut a week ago when 2nd of 10 in a 2700m Class D here . Will have progressed for the run and should again figure prominently
- LABEL DE LARRE – Back under the saddle after some modest harness runs. Will be barefoot as he was when imposing at Enghien earlier in the year, and with application could pleasantly surprise
- LABEL DE TILLARD – Sprang a 21-1 surprise when flying up in a 2700m Class D here on 7 December. Benjamin Rochard in the irons once again and will be expected to contest the finish
Summary: Facile winner over 2200m here earlier in the month, on just his 2nd start under the saddle, LOOKING D’AURCY (3) is barefoot and reunited with Alexandre Abrivard who will be confident of repeating. He will still be keeping an eye on the capricious but serious LABEL DE TILLARD (11) who most recently imposed over the main track, and stablemates LILIUS DE GUEZ (7), who is enjoying a productive run of form, and LORENZO BERRY (8) who is expected to show another side on monte debut.

C3 – PRIX DES CHRYSANTHEMES – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class D – Harness – EUR € 33,000 - NAVY SEAL – Qualified superbly at Caen 2 weeks ago. Yoann Lebourgeois in the bike for career debut and can be forgiven for being bullish. Claim
- NIOKY DE BAILLY – Lost his action early, finishing last of 11 behind NICE SPEED (4) in a 2850m Class C over the inner course 3 weeks ago, and will have few friends
- NANTUS D’AVIGNERE – Unexceptional 4th of 7, a place behind NATIONAL HERO (10) in a 2700m Graignes Class E 2.5 weeks ago, and can be passed over
- NICE SPEED – Complicated but serious colt that gave a good account over the inner course here on 11 December. Runs over main track for first time and will be no pushover if he takes to the new profile
- NOT A BAD DEAL – Unexceptional colt that finished last of 10 behind NELSON SWIFT (11) in a Class D over course and distance on 4 December, and is unlikely to make any waves
- NEW MONEY – Unable to confirm good Strasbourg performance when eliminated early in a 2100m Class C on 18 November. Should find these conditions more to his liking and can get a look in if Benjamin Richard gets him off on the right foot
- NOTTINGEN – Qualified in 1’17″3 in August and duly obliged on debut early this month, winning a 2050m Laval Class F with ease. Will have come on for the run and should again figure prominently
- NICOU CHAK – No champion but always gives his best. 4th of 10, a place behind NELSON SWIFT (11) in a Class D over course and distance on 4 December, however a repeat seems unlikely
- NOT THIS TIME – Somewhat disappointing 6th, a place behind NICE SPEED (4), in a 2850m Class C over the inner course 3 weeks ago. Should show more over the main track and must be regarded a decent place prospect
- NATIONAL HERO – Pleasantly surprising 3rd of 10 in a Graignes Class E 2.5 weeks ago. Christophe Martens in the bike this time and cannot be ruled out
- NELSON SWIFT – Improving colt that ran 3rd of 10 in a Class D over course and distance on 4 December. Top driver brought in for the occasion and is not about to disappoint
- NORMAN LE BEAU – In the frame in 2 of last 3, most recently 3rd in a Cabourg Class D 9 days ago, but has yet to impress racing left-handed and others preferred
- NOUGAYORQUE – Ran 3rd at Cabourg before authoritatively winning a 2400m Amiens Class F on 26 November. Takes on a better lot this time but can still get in on the action provided he turns
Summary: The sole untried horse in the field, NAVY SEAL (1) most recently qualified in 1’14”5 and if as good in competition can get off the mark at the first time of asking. That being said, NICE SPEED (4) put on a good show here earlier in the month and will not be available at 76-1 this time. NOTTINGEN (7) confirmed his own good qualification when imposing on debut 3.5 weeks ago and Guillaume Martin gets the nod this time. NOT THIS TIME (9) is better than his latest run would suggest and can challenge for a place on the podium.

C4 – PRIX DE BUZANCAIS – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class D – Mounted – EUR € 46,000 - KARTING BOY – Pleasant 3rd of 11 in a 2175m Class F here on Christmas day. Takes a notable hike in category though and is unlikely to influence the outcome
- KALICO JACK – In the frame in 2 of last 3, most recently a Le Mans Class E mid-month, but has little liking for Vincennes and can be passed over
- KRACUS DE GUEZ – Endured all sorts of woes behind KAP ORNE (10) here 3 weeks ago but nevertheless showed his form and, with stride in check, can get his nose in front this time
- KAMES MERITE – Got back down to business in a Class F over course and distance 3 weeks ago. Met no opposition that day and steps back up in category with a decent hand to play
- KIDAM DU METZ – Imposed over course and distance before running 3rd to KHEOPS DORE (12) over the inner course late last month. Has more to find this time but should nonetheless hold his own
- KIWI CHARENTAIS – Out of the picture in all 3 starts this term and takes first competitive monte steps with limited ambition
- KANGCHENJUNGA – Honest element that ran 5th in a Class D over course and distance 10 days ago, but in this company will have little to offer
- KING DU RIL – Nowhere near as sharp as he was this time last year, unplaced in last 2 races of references, and is unlikely to spice things up
- KAPITANO DE LOU – 5th of 7 behind KAP ORNE (10) in a 2175m Class E here on 10 December, his first start in the discipline, and will need to find significantly more
- KAP ORNE – Faithful servant that just missed out in a 2175m Class E here 3 weeks ago. Defied his odds that day but with form maintained, is unlikely to let the side down. Place chance
- KAIROUAN GLAM – Complicated sort that ran 4th over course and distance on 21 November but failed to repeat when eliminated at Le Mans mid-month. Will be reunited with Guillaume Martin though who will be determined to put things right
- KHEOPS DORE – Steps up in category after winning 2 in a row here. Is back on the main track, will run barefoot this time, and has a realistic chance of contesting the finish
- KRONOS DE VANDEL – Quality element that failed to deliver in last 2 but is under new management and with application can finish close
Summary: KRACUS DE GUEZ (3) gave a fine account here earlier in the month despite a troubled start to the race, but is plainly in rude health. KAP ORNE (10) finished close that day and should again figure prominently, but may first have to defer to a barefoot KHEOPS DORE (12) who returns to the main track on a hat-trick. KRONOS DE VANDEL (13) debuts for his new yard and Paul Ploquin will be keen to get him back in the game.

C5 – PRIX DE LIMEIL – 2850m (a2m) – Class F – Harness – EUR € 36,000 - KEIGHT BLESS – Quality element making Vincennes debut in rude health. Should not be too hastily-judged for faulting mid-month and winning this would be no surprise
- KRACDARCHE – Takes a notable step up in category, and debuts at Vincennes, after winning a Mauquenchy Class G a month back. Alexandre Abrivard in the bike but still not a priority
- KENDO DU CHERISAY – Modest element that has done nothing noteworthy for some time and is not about to change his ways
- KENZO BENOIS – Back under harness after failing to deliver in a monte Class E here on 27 November, just his 2nd start for over 2 years, and is not about to influence the result
- KRAC GAILLARD – Has been knocking at the door over recent weeks, most recently good 2nd in a Cordemais Class F on 14 December. Anthony Barrier in the bike this time and has the wherewithal to finish in the mix
- KYMI JACK – Seen more often than not racing right-handed but has been enjoying a decent run of form and latest 3rd to KEIGHT BLESS (1) stands him in good stead. Place chance
- KIF DE L’UNE – Unexceptional trotter sporting 4 pads for the first time but is no champion and is not about to create an upset
- KING TURGOT – Highly-complicated but showed his form, despite being eliminated, at Cagnes 8 days ago. Alexis Collette stays faithful and can finish close provided his charge keeps trotting
- KRALL DE CORDAY – Never far from losing his action but gave a fine account when 3rd to KALL ME CENSERIE (13) in a Nantes Class F mid-month. Imposed at Pornichet in the day’s formula and on good behaviour can pick up some prizemoney
- KARO DAIRPET – Goes barefoot following 3 return runs, with David Thomain in the bike, but in this company will struggle to make his mark
- KING D’EB – Pleased on first objective of the winter, running 4th of 15 in a Class F at Le Croise-Laroche mid-month, but still faces a stiff challenge
- KEVERT – Hardy element with a race under his belt following a decent break. Runs with 4 pads again but with Benjamin Rochard reining will be afforded every chance
- KALL ME CENSERIE – Has taken little time getting back in the game, most recently winning a 3000m Nantes Class F a fortnight ago. Has also taken well to his new configuration and is unlikely to let the side down
- KING BABEL – Produced a fine effort to win a 2600m Class F at Meslay-du-Maine 2 weeks ago. Pierre-Yves Verva in the bike this time but in this company will struggle to repeat
- KILLER ANGOT – Eliminated on re-entry under the saddle on 20 November. Is here only for reasons of conditioning and can be ruled out
- KESSERO – Confirmed re-entry run with 3rd in a Class E over 2700m here in late-November. Is new to 2850m here but is just a few Euros from elimination and must be taken very seriously. Chance
Summary: KEIGHT BLESS (1) failed to pull off the hat-trick when eliminated early in Bordeaux a fortnight ago, but he is clearly behind in earnings and should have this in the bag provided he gets off on the right foot. KESSERO (16) left a good impression in better company a month back and, well-engaged with Eric Raffin reining, looks a player. KING TURGOT (8) may be as tricky as they get but he showed improvement on the Riviera last week and Alexis Collette will be minded to keep him focused. KYMI JACK (6) may be better going clockwise but he ran 3rd to Paul Ploquin’s horse at Cabourg and will be barefoot again.

C6 – PRIX DE POITIERS – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class B – Harness – EUR € 75,000 - IRON MESLOIS – Useful sort that was given an easy re-entry in an amateurs Class E here on Christmas Eve, his first start for over a year, and is going to need another run
- HOLD UP DU DIGEON – 12th of 18 in Gr.2 GNT Final prior to finishing 8th of 15 behind HIMBERLAND (5) here 11 days ago and is unlikely to cause an upset
- IDYLLE EXPRESS – Winner of both Vincennes starts this winter, both with JMB at the helm. Is taking on a better lot this time but has earned the right to race at this level and must be considered a contender
- HABIT DE SOIREE – Produced a pair of good efforts over 2700m here before finishing 10th of 12 in 13 December race of reference, and is not about to paint the town red
- HIMBERLAND – Failed to confirm November’s course-and-distance success when denied a run here 11 days ago. Form is not in question and may just prove the main threat to IN RED (15)
- GIROLAMO – Moderate sort making first appearance since last February. Runs barefoot and can be passed over
- HAMILTON DU HAM – Produced a surprisingly good effort to run 6th behind GOLD MENCOURT (12) in a 2100m Class B here 2.5 weeks ago. Christophe Martens reining this time and is unlikely to shake things up
- INOUI DANICA – Capable trotter making just 2nd start following a lengthy layoff and will be preparing for a campaign under the saddle
- INDIGO DE FONTAINE – Showed a different side to himself behind GOLD MENCOURT (12) in a 2100m Class B here 2.5 weeks ago only to be eliminated, but with stride in check can begin to get back in the game
- ILAYA – Ran 4th in a Mauquenchy Gr.3 before finishing last of 12 behind GOLD MENCOURT (12) in a 2100m Class B here 2.5 weeks ago. Yoann Lebourgeois in the bike this time and has a reasonable chance of picking up a cheque
- INDY DARK – Somewhat disappointing in last 2 but has otherwise been in excellent shape. Returns to 2700m though and Benjamin Rochard can be confident of a better run this time. First 5
- GOLD MENCOURT – Has shown improvement since moving to his 9th trainer during the autumn, finishing 4th in a 2100m Class B here 2.5 weeks ago. Will not be available at 43-1 this time but is unlikely to repeat either
- INDUS VAL – Was forced to run nose to the wind over 2850m here earlier in the month, but has nothing to prove under these conditions and can make amends if positioned early
- GIMS DU PLESSIS – Has failed 3 times to confirm October course-and-distance victory. Finished a place behind HIMBERLAND (5) here 11 days ago and although not a priority is still worth keeping an eye on
- IN RED – Reunited with Gabriele Gelormini after finishing good 3rd under these conditions on 22 November. Is plainly better than most here and in current condition is easy to fancy for the win
Summary: A fine campaigner that has taken his game to a new level this year, IN RED (15) excels in his current configuration and, considering the entry, should be able to wrap this up. HIMBERLAND (5) was rather unlucky here recently but will be reunited with David Thomain who imposed with him a month earlier. Undefeated in 3 starts with Jean-Michel Bazire reining, IDYLLE EXPRESS (3) steps up in category with a good hand to play. INDIGO DE FONTAINE (9) has not tasted success since February 2024 but he showed improvement here earlier in the month and should not be far from the action if Leo Abrivard keeps him trotting. INDUS VAL (13) did not enjoy the best of runs here earlier in the month but has been reconfigured and with a better trip can start to make amends.

C7 – PRIX DE DAMVILLE – 2850m (a2m) – Class B – Harness – EUR € 52,000 - LALUNA DES FORGES – Opened her winter account with ease 3 weeks ago when flying up in a 2700m Class C. Is pitted against the colts this time but is still in with a realistic shout of making first 3
- LAGNU MAG – Surprise 3rd behind LEWIS RIVER (3) in a Class B here in late-November, but well-beaten next time and will need to find considerably more
- LEWIS RIVER – Ran 2nd at this level in late-November, then 4th in a 2175m Class C 12 days ago. Has yet to deliver over 2850m here but in current condition is hard to ignore. Chance
- LADY DADA – Failed to confirm early-November performance when blowing up behind LUDIVINE (8) here on 29 November. Eric Raffin stays faithful though, she sports a new configuration, and must not be underestimated
- LEADER DE JOUDES – Steps back up in category after winning a 2700m claimer here on 12 December, and is unlikely to spring any surprises
- LAST MAN – Lost her action when full of running at Cagnes 11 days ago. Races barefoot this time and, if focused, can play a part
- LARA CROFT – Ran decent 2nd to LUDIVINE (8) in a 2700m Class B here late last month, prior to her elimination 2 weeks later when clearly beaten, and can expect to have few takers
- LUDIVINE – Won unopposed over 2700m here in late-November before coming 4th of 11 in a Class B over track and trip on 14 December. In arguably less-exalted company this time and can contest a place in the frame
- LUTIN DE REUX – Quality element that was quickly eliminated in a Class B over course and distance on 14 December. Has nothing to prove at this level though and can more than make amends if Leo Abrivard keeps him trotting
- LORD DU BASSIN – Handy colt with just the one run under his belt since the summer. Will be shod to preference this time but others still preferred
Summary: Reliability may not be his strong suit but LUTIN DE REUX (9) is head-and-shoulders better than the field on a good day and, shod as he was when victorious at Beaumont-de-Lomagne, can win this. 4th that day after having imposed here in late-November, LUDIVINE (8) should again figure prominently, but may first have to see off LEWIS RIVER (3) who tends to go well for Damien Bonne. LALUNA DES FORGES (1) has done nothing but improve since returning to competition and steps up in category with a lot to contribute.

C8 – PRIX DE CROISSANVILLE – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class A – Harness – EUR € 62,000 - MONEY CASH – Has merit but eliminated in 2 of last 3 and in this company will have his work cut out
- MISTER CHARLY – Eliminated in a 2175m Class A here on 20 December. Gives a good account for the most part though and with application can play a small role
- MAD OF YOU – Capable element but has not been seen out since running 3rd, a place behind MACHIAVEL BOURBON (9), in a 2775m Class B at MACHIAVEL BOURBON (9) on 20 October, and will need the run
- MIX CASH – Useful colt making first appearance since late-July. Will have been prepared for this and although not a priority this time, should nevertheless acquit himself honourably
- MAESTRO DU CHOQUEL – Barring the occasional elimination is as consistent as they come, most recently 3rd, a place behind MIRAKALU MANAZIF (11), in a 2175m Class A 11 days ago. Goes well for Paul Ploquin and will not be returning home empty-handed
- MILAN – Won 2 of 3 before being sent for a break in early-October. Is clearly in conditioning-mode and others easier to back
- MISTRAL DU BOIS – Got off the mark 3 weeks ago when impressively winning a Class B over course and distance. JMB sits in for Eric Raffin and will justifiably garner significant support
- MUSIKO CAUVELLIERE – Dominated a 2850m Gr.3 here late last month. Is unlikely to repeat but cannot be ruled out either
- MACHIAVEL BOURBON – Good class of colt that has finished bridesmaid in all 3 starts this season. Is clearly close to opening his winter account and enjoys an excellent opportunity here. Claim
- MORPHEUS DU LOISIR – Serious dual-discipline type back in the code after losing his action in a monte Gr.3 over course and distance on 20 November. Is prepping for a return to the other discipline though and not a concern
- MIRAKALU MANAZIF – Quality element that has not put a foot wrong over recent months. Gave a fine account in a 2175m Class A 11 days ago and will be expected to bring the fight to MACHIAVEL BOURBON (9)
- MARQUETY DE BAILLY – Ran 2nd under these conditions in early-November but has been less performant in 2 since. Regular driver back at the helm and he will be eager to set the record straight
Summary: A high-calibre colt that is due a win one of these days, MACHIAVEL BOURBON (9) was beaten only by a very good horse here last month, and is easy to like for the win this time. Eric Raffin would still be wise to be wary of MIRAKALU MANAZIF (11) who finished a place behind him that day before running 2nd over 2175m, and recent course-and-distance winner MISTRAL DU BOIS (7) who will be partnered by JMB this time. Well-engaged here and reunited with Matthieu Abrivard for the occasion, MARQUETY DE BAILLY (12) should not be too hastily-condemned for his recent Gr.3 blip.

- LUNA HAUFOR – Won over 2850m here in mid-November then ran 2nd to LILIE D’OMAHA (6) in a 2100m Class D early this month. Has taken particularly well to racing barefoot and Damien Bonne will be eager to prove the point
- LAMIE DU MESNIL – Useful individual making first appearance since last February. Shoes fitted and no threat
- LYANA D’ARC – Showed improvement when 4th to LAROZE DU GERS (7) in a 2100m Class D here on 14 November. Comes here fresh but is being aimed too high
- LATINA QUICK – Won over course and distance on re-entry, then ran 3rd over 2850m. Will not have foreign runners to contend with this time and has a reasonable chance of imposing
- LILIE D’OMAHA – Courageous winner of a 2100m Class D here on 5 December. Alexandre Abrivard at the helm this time and while unlikely to repeat, should nevertheless hold her own
- LAROZE DU GERS – Regularly a case of all-or-nothing. Has talent to burn, speed in abundance, and with application can run away with the silverware
- LUMINEUSE DE BRION – Off the boil since winning over course and distance last May. Disappointing in a 2850m Class C last month and, even though fresh, still looks an outsider
- LILY DE L’AUNAY – Capable on a good day but eliminated in last 2 and is not about to cause an upset
- LA DIVA SUPREME – Returned to successful ways 2.5 weeks ago when easily winning a 2150m Cagnes Class D. Eric Raffin reins for the first time and a place in the frame is well within her capability
- LILY MARGOT – Serious filly with a bright future but has not been seen out since March and is going to need the race
- LARA DE CHENU – Failed to confirm late-November victory when victim of an incident in a 2700m Class C 3 weeks ago. Is plainly in decent shape but others still preferred
- LORELEI DE REUX – 3rd of 7 finishers in a Class C over 2700m here 3 weeks ago, but unable to confirm next time in a 2175m Class C. Is no slouch when barefoot though and with Franck Nivard reining will be afforded every chance
- L’ENVIE D’HERFRAIE – Made up for Argentan elimination when 4th in a 2850m Gr.3 here on 30 November. Is clearly in fine fettle, is ideally-entered, and David Thomain will be eager to make hay. Place chance
Summary: Winner over shorter here in November, LAROZE DU GERS (7) lost her action next time when full of running. JMB will be in the bike on this occasion though and looks the best of the Matthieu Abrivard-trained trio. Stepping back up in category following a fine pair of return runs, LATINA QUICK (5) will not go down easily, and neither should stablemate LA DIVA SUPREME (10) who has been entrusted to Eric Raffin for the occasion. L’ENVIE D’HERFRAIE (14) benefits from a fine entry, has not once disappointed here, and is unlikely to be far off the mark.

- KASSYA – Produced something of a surprise when 3rd to KEY OF LOVE (12) in a 2700m Class C here on 28 November, however a repeat seems improbable
- KAHIA DE LA CROIX – Pleasantly surprising 5th behind KYNTE FLUSH (11) under similar conditions 11 days ago. Faces a tougher task this time and will struggle to make her presence felt
- KELLY JANE – Serious mare when fit and focused, but has not been seen out for almost 3 months and will need the race
- XIA LLOYD – Moderate mare taking first competitive steps south of Scandinavia. Has no references beyond 2140m and is unlikely to spring any surprises

- KANAKA DE BUSSET – Ran 2nd over course and distance before failing to place in a 2100m Class C. Reliability not her strong suit and others easier to back

- KOMERE DE CORDAY – Has done everything right this term, latterly giving a fine account over shorter. Has had ample time to get back to her best and the engagement only works to her advantage
- KALINE DE VIVOIN – Complicated mare that won over course and distance before losing her action in a 2100m Class C here on 21 November. Has been afforded time to recalibrate and, given the entry, is worth keeping an eye on
Summary: ELEONORA GRIF (8) drops down the category-ladder after holding her own in a Gr.3 here in mid-November. She has done everything asked of her since moving to France and although unproven beyond 2200m, still looks good enough to win this. She is sure to come under pressure though from the nicely-entered KOMERE DE CORDAY (15) who has won 2 of 3 over the main track, and KEY OF LOVE (12) who comfortably imposed under these conditions late last month. KALINE DU LOCHEUR (14) will be fully-fit by now, has been reconfigured for the occasion, and is easy to recommend for a place in the frame.
