Summary: LA ROSERAIE (3) made a pleasing debut over this course and distance when fourth in a Class 3 hurdle in early December. She is open to plenty of progress from that run and can get off the mark at the expense of BUONSOLE (1), who was a decent third in a Class in a Class 4 hurdle over the track and trip in mid-November on his second start. - MELOPEE – Disqualified in class F at Rouen-Mauquenchy over 2150m on 4 February. Is in poor form and needs to score better. Others are preferred this time round
- MATOUNE – Unreliable and finished 12th in class G at Rouen-Mauquenchy over 2150m on 23 November. Returns from a break but is not out of it if fit enough
- MON ALTESSE – Finished 9th in class F at Rouen-Mauquenchy over 2150m on 4 February. Capable of doing better and others are preferred
- MARILOU D’ERI – Only modest of late and was 7th in class F at Vire over 2800m on 8 February. Needs to do a bit more to score
- MINETTE DU BOIS – Disqualified in class F at Vire over 2800m on 8 February. Returns barefoot and is best judged on a good penultimate start performance. Go close
Summary: A very open race and anything is possible. MAUVE DE FLEUR (7) has run well in all three of her starts and could have a winning turn. MINETTE DU BOIS (12) has disqualification issues but ran well in her penultimate start and is capable of winning if staying on the trot. MANSUETUDE (2) ran better than her disqualification suggests last time out and is a threat. MARIANNE (6) returns from a break but is capable of shining.

- JOYAU DE RIVERIE – Disqualified in class G at Mont-Saint-Michel over 2675m on 15 February. Remains barefoot but needs to find a few lengths to win
- JAIN DE JANVILLE – Unreliable and was 9th in class F at Graignes over 2700m on 11 January when barefoot. Not barefoot this time and others make more appeal
- JALOUX – Only modest of late and finished 9th in class E at Chalons-en-Champagne over2625m on 21 September. Returns from a break and could need this run
- IRONIE DES BROUETS – Showed some improvement when 5th in class G at Nancy over 2600m on 9 November. Returns from a break and could be the surprise package of the race
- JACKPOT D’AXEL – Not disgraced when 5th in class G at Rouen-Mauquenchy over 2850m on 26 January. Does well at this level and has claims at a victory
- JAD DES ELIES – Disqualified three times in a row, the latest in class G at Le-Mont-Saint-Michel over 2675m on 15 February. Has major disqualification issues and others are preferred
- IANOCHE – Not reliable and was 7th in class F at Argentan over 2875m on 23 December. Returns from a break but can be competitive if fit enough
- IBLISS MAYBE – Unreliable and was 8th in class G at Rouen-Mauquenchy over 2850m on 12 January. Victorious back in May when barefoot but not this time and others are preferred
- GYPSIE MAGIQUE – Has only been modest of late and wAS 8th in class G at Rouen-Mauquenchy over 2850m on 26 January. Returns barefoot but needs to score
- INSTIGATEUR – In very good shape and was runner-up in class G at Vire over 2825m on 7 December. Can go one better this this time
- JERZINO VICI – Finished 14th in class E at Vincennes over 2100m on 17 November. Unreliable and needs to do more to beat these rivals
- JACQUOT DU DOME – Disqualified twice in row, the latest in class F at Graignes over 2725m on 9 February. Capable of scoring when staying in stride
Summary: A very tricky lucky last race. INSTIGATEUR (11) remains in very good shape and looks the one they all have to beat. JACKPOT D’AXEL (6) usually does well at this level and should be a contender for top honours. JACQUOT DU DOME (13) is not easy to trust and is coming off a couple of faults but can score if smart. IANOCHE (8) is returning from a short break and is unreliable, but is also one of many capable of winning.
