Summary: MALANDRINO (9) is not easy to trust but he was unlucky last time out at Caen. He was fighting out the finish when faulting and could make amends this time around. MISTER LA NUIT (6) has some ability and can get involved in the finish in a race of this nature. MONSIEUR DARLING (15) remains in very good shape and would not be a surprise winner. MAGISTER (12) has only been modest of late but does have claims for victory.

Summary: LADY MYSTIC (15) does come with disqualification issues but she arrives for this after a cracking last performance and can go one better. LANANA D’ESCRIT (9) is barefoot this time, so the last fault is best ignored. LAEKEN DE LA MOTTE (4) is very hard to trust but can get involved in the finish when she stays on the trot. KELLOU DES BRUMES (1) is in good form and should fight out the finish once again. KETBERNY (8) is also usually competitive and clearly will not go down easily. 117. ITHENA DE GAJUEL – Did not show her best when 16th in class E at Rouen-Mauquenchy over 2850m on 24 February. On a long losing streak and needs to improve to win
  118. JOYCE PILE – Not reliable and was 5th in class F at Cherbourg over 2625m on 1 March. Can be competitive in this line-up
Summary: KOUREAS D’ELA (13) returns from a break but she is barefoot and ready to take out this lucky last race. KINDY DU VIVIER (9) put in an improved performance at Laval last month and could be competitive once again. KISS ME DU LIVET (14) is fit and in very good form so is clearly not out of it. C1 – PRIX ZETURF – 2500m (a1m1/2) – Class F – Harness – EUR € 21,000

  1. KONSPIRATOR GAME – Eliminated on re-entry at Le Mont-Saint-Michel last weekend. Seldom lets the side down when focused and will be well-backed to win this
  2. LET’S GO SAUTREUIL – Showed significant improvement last year when barefoot. Has a race under his belt since the layoff and, although yet to excel at Reims, is nevertheless easy to recommend for a place on the podium
  3. LOOPING BEN MAX – Made up for Amiens elimination when 3rd in a 2700m Saumur Class F last weekend. Is confirmed at the venue and ideally-positioned to give this a good go
  4. KOOL DE CRAON – Unexceptional trotter making first appearance since mid-October. Is not entirely devoid of ability but in this category will have his work cut out
  5. KAISER DES CHAMPS – Returns to France, and to racing right-handed, after enjoying a fine run of form at home in the Netherlands. Is new to the venue, and is better going left-handed, but in present shape is hard to ignore
  6. KISS MAKER – Starts for first time since late-November, goes as well right-handed as left-, and barefoot for the occasion, has a realistic chance of contesting the finish
  7. LE GRAND DE VIRY – Solid for much of 2025 but out of the picture in last 2, latterly his return run, and with shoes fitted will have little to offer
  8. KALOU DE TESS – Modest individual making first start since last October and can expect to have few friends
  9. KARLISSIME ATOUT – 30 starts and yet to lose his maiden status. Is new to Reims but will not be shaking things up
  10. LENNY DU PONT – Won 2 of 3 in Mons before losing his action in a 2550m monte Class G here early this month. On back line but is clearly in form and will not be far from the action if he stays in stride
  11. LE CAP DU ROEN – Yet to get off the mark but nevertheless went into his layoff on a positive note. Takes on a more serious lot this time, however, and the draw will not help matters
  12. LE PRINCE DU RIS – Has done nothing of note since imposing at Bordeaux 14 months ago and can be confidently ruled out
  13. KIRSCH VRIE – Showed improvement when 3rd in a Bihorel-lès-Rouen claimer last weekend. Will be barefoot again and could well pick up some prizemoney if Pierre-Yves Verva successfully navigates the start
Summary: Impressive during the autumn, KONSPIRATOR GAME (1) should not be condemned for faulting on his recent comeback, will be reunited with Andrea Roussel for whom he has never failed to fire, and can bring home the bacon this time. KISS MAKER (6) has not been seen out since November but he is a tough nut to crack when barefoot and the front-line break will do his chances no disservice. Similarly unshod following a much-needed freshener, LET’S GO SAUTREUIL (2) will be competitive for a place in the frame. Handed the 3 slot after having reassured at Saumur, LOOPING BEN MAX (3) has previously won here and can again figure prominently.

  14. HAOUSSA DE VENNES – Returns to the professional ranks after winning a Mauquenchy amateurs Class G on 12 February. Sports pads this time and can be passed over
  15. JEALOUS GIRL – No slouch on a good day but has failed to make much impact recently and is not about to cause an upset
  16. JUNIOR ANGELE – More than made amends for Vincennes run when comfortably winning a Graignes Class E on 2 February. Comes here fresh, with another on-form driver reining, and can contest a place on the podium
  17. HUGO THE BOSS – Moderate trotter making first appearance since last September and will have nothing to offer
  18. JOYEUX MESLOIS – Bought out of a claimer then ran 6th to JIMBO SPORT (9)in a 2500m Class F here on 1 March, his first start for new trainer. Is unlikely to spring any surprises but still has the ability to finish in the mix
  19. INDIGO DU PERCHE – Is clearly capable but has been off the boil for some months and needs to get his house in order
  20. ITALICA – Was by no means disgraced when 5th in a Vincennes Class E on 11 February. Is new to Reims but a similar effort would see her secure another cheque
  21. JACK SURPRISE – Gave a fine account on re-entry at Vire early this month, has nothing to prove at this level, and looks competitively well in
  22. JIMBO SPORT – Returned to winning ways in a 2500m Class F here eagerly this month. Is unbeaten at the venue and Kristof Depuydt will be keen to keep that fact relevant
  23. JUSTE DU GERS – Serious mare that ran 2nd to the good Vallatonian in a Pontchateau Class D on 6 March. Benefits from a fine entry and looks main danger to JIMBO SPORT (9)
  24. ITONO DE MILLAC – Ran 2nd at Auch before clinching victory in a Bordeaux Class F a week ago. Takes on some tough 7yo’s this time but should nevertheless hold his own
Summary: Winner of his last 6 right-handed runs, JIMBO SPORT (9) imposed over 2500m here early this month and looks thoroughly capable of confirming. He should nevertheless encounter resistance from the dependable and in-form JUSTE DU GERS (10) who is clearly close to winning another. A good dual-discipline trotter, JACK SURPRISE (8) defied his odds on his Vire comeback and makes his Reims bow with a lot to contribute. Most impressive at Graignes early last month, JUNIOR ANGELE (3) will be reined by Pierre-Yves Verva this time and will not be far from the action if he takes to the Reims profile.

  25. KITTEN’S JOY – Unseen since last September but is clearly in race-mode. Starts on the inside but has a lot going for her and is unlikely to be far off the mark
  26. KABAYA DE REVE – Disappointing in 3 starts so far this term, most recently well-beaten in Strasbourg, and even though well-placed in front, will have limited chances
  27. LAZIE PONT VAUTIER – Undeniably complicated but is by no means devoid of ability. Is proven at the venue and could even win this if she keeps her action together
  28. LIPINSKA – Unexceptional mare going barefoot following a mediocre re-entry at Le Croise-Laroche a week ago, and is unlikely to generate much interest
  29. LAQUILA WOOD – Showed some form at Vincennes in January before being eliminated at Amiens 3 weeks ago. Benefits from a decent draw on the front line and, if applied, can play a leading role
  30. LOLA DE CHENU – Eliminated as often as not but seldom lets the side down when focused. Is new to Reims but is better than most here and, on good behaviour, can win her first of 2026
  31. KIRUNA DU PONCELET – Not the most reliable of horses, and has yet to show much liking for Reims, but is competitively-shod for return to competition and, nicely-engaged this time, can play a part
  32. LEGENDE DU GERS – Unremarkable element that came out of her break in the same way as she came in, eliminated. Disregard
  33. LADY DE MELLERAY – Has a particular liking for Reims but takes a notable hike in category and 2 straight eliminations do nothing to inspire confidence
  34. KENZA DE LA BESVRE – Somewhat made up for 3 straight winter eliminations when 5th in a Class G at La Capelle last weekend. Shoes fitted this time but in this company should be able to pick up a cheque
  35. KALIE PIQUENARD – Returns to France after twice failing to deliver at Mons this year. Starts on back line but with Pierre-Yves Verva in the bike this time will be afforded every chance
  36. LOLITA CLUB – Sent for a rest after running 4th over course and distance in early-December. Was pulled-up on comeback last weekend but acquits herself well for the most part and cannot be discounted
  37. LADIVA DE PARIS – Back under harness after being eliminated in a Chartres monte Class F early this month, and is here for reasons of conditioning
  38. LOLITA DE LANDEMER – Showed improvement when 3rd in a claimer at Bihorel-lès-Rouen last Sunday. Is confirmed here but on this occasion will have too much to do
Summary: Although never far from losing her action, LOLA DE CHENU (6) is a useful mare at this level; she goes well right-handed, returns to racing shod, and with application could well impose. She will still come under pressure from the similarly capricious but well-positioned LAZIE PONT VAUTIER (3) who tends to go well at Reims. Handed the 5 slot, LAQUILA WOOD (5) showed form in Paris on her penultimate start and, if focused, can fill one of the steps on the podium. Barefoot as she was when imposing on her sole start here, the returning KITTEN’S JOY (1) is reunited with Franck Ouvrie who drove her that day, and must be respected.

  39. JUHELLET – Has shown decent aptitude for the discipline and most recently pleased under harness. Is competitively-shod and, although not a priority, is still worth keeping an eye on
  40. JEANBAT DANOVER – Has done nothing of note in either code since summer 2024 and can be confidently disregarded
  41. JUNIOR INTRIGANT – Ran 5th, a place behind JERSEY ISLAND (8), at Amiens 10 days ago but will have too much to do this time around
  42. KING STALLION – Capricious element but has ample ability. Is not known for his clockwise prowess but in this company will have his chances if focused
  43. IN THE MOOD GEDE – Consistently performant element making first monte start of the season after a necessary harness freshener earlier in the month. Would be preferred barefoot but can still make his presence felt
  44. JOKER DE LA BRETTE – Generous for the most part but has struggled of late. Debuts in the code, with a talented jockey aboard, appreciates Reims, and can make a big splash on monte debut
  45. JAZZ PASSION – Finished last but one on re-entry in a Class G at Le Mont-Saint-Michel mid-February. Takes on a much better bunch this time and chances appear limited
  46. JERSEY ISLAND – Reassuring, but unthreatening, 4th in an Amiens Class F 10 days ago. In more suitable company this time and with Mehdi Lelievre in the saddle must not be underestimated
  47. KANTHABELLA – Frequently aimed too high but always gives her best. Is in race-mode for comeback and should not be ignored
Summary: Rather disappointing of late in the harness discipline, JOKER DE LA BRETTE (6) switches code for the first time and with Pierre-Yves Verva in the saddle can get straight down to business. KING STALLION (4) is as complicated as they get but he has form in superior company and will have a prominent part to play if he deigns to stay in stride. JERSEY ISLAND (8) has taken well to the monte code and faces a less difficult task than she did at Amiens recently. KANTHABELLA (9) is never easy to gauge and has not been seen out since July 2025, but is terrifically-engaged and will be barefoot for the occasion.

  49. MYSTERIOUS LOVE – Starts for the first time since running 4th of 5 finishers in a Class E over course and distance last October. Has merit but is expected to be race-rusty
  50. MONEY DI MALAVITA – No champion but was not disgraced here in November. Has not been seen since but is unshod-behind for the first time and cannot be ruled out
  51. MAESTRO DE LOU – Impressive in all 3 starts last autumn. Was found wanting on re-entry last Monday but is being backed up with a respectable chance of getting in on the action
  52. MARIO DE LOU – Has done nothing but improve since the spell, latterly winning a Class F at Le Croise-Laroche with ease on 23 February. Steps marginally up in category but can still double his money
  53. MEDELLIN ELLIS – Handy element that should not be judged for being given an easy return run at Amiens 10 days ago. Is competitively-shod for the first time and can challenge for a first-5 cheque
  54. MILLESIME GWEN – Consistently in the thick of things when he can keep his action together. Will appreciate returning to racing right-handed and, if applied, can finish close
  55. MIKI DU POMMEREUX – Was not disgraced when 5th behind MILLESIME GWEN (7) here last November, but has placed just once in 4 starts since and cannot be considered a priority
  56. MIRAGE DE BRAY – Has not once failed to deliver racing right-handed but has not been seen out since October and best to keep one’s powder dry
  57. MOZART LA LONDE – Pleased on re-entry at Graignes before running 6th, a place behind ME AND YOU (12), in an Amiens Class E 10 days ago. Front shoes off for first time but others still preferred
  58. MILORD DU LORAULT – Eliminated as often as not but showed in January that he was clearly close to his race. Has no right-handed references but sports modified shoeing and looks a serious proposition
  59. ME AND YOU – Will have progressed for his solid return run at Amiens 10 days ago. Won his only other clockwise start and the new configuration should see improvement. Place prospect
Summary: Convincing winner at Le Croise-Laroche late last month, MARIO DE LOU (5) is more competitively-shod this time and can wrap this up. Julien Raffestin will still want to be wary of a reconfigured MILORD DU LORAULT (11) who has twice finished runner-up at Mauquenchy this year, and the complicated but in-form MILLESIME GWEN (7) who has references under these conditions. ME AND YOU (12) left a good impression on his recent Amiens comeback, will have come on for the race, has been reconfigured, and the fine entry stands him in good stead.

  60. MISS DU RABUTIN – Has taken well to her new vocation but was moderately disappointing at Le Croise-Laroche on 23 February. Steps up in category with her trainer in the bike, but cannot be ruled out
  61. MATRIONA – Would have finished in the mix at Le Croise-Laroche earlier in the month had she not lost her action. Goes barefoot again and, with stride in check, can make first 5
  62. MA BIMBO – Reliability not her strong suit but has already won right-handed. Has not been seen out since December but is competitively-shod and will generate some interest
  63. MAMOON – Progressive filly that showed potential in 2025. Has not raced since October however and can be passed over
  64. MIDNIGHT CHENU – Stays shod after having run flattering 4th in a Caen Class F 9 days ago and is not about to create an upset
  65. MAMZELLE DU HOULET – Has shown a different side to herself since starting to race barefoot. Has yet to excel racing clockwise but in current condition is hard to ignore
  66. MISSION IMPOSSIBLE – Produced a fine performance to run 3rd in a Class F at Le Croise-Laroche on 2 March. Should prove even more competitive this time and can impose
  67. MY QUEEN DELO – Gave a reassuringly good account when 3rd in a Mauquenchy Class E on 24 February, however a repeat seems improbable
  68. MEXICA BELLA – Capable on a good day but starts for the first time since September and will need the run
  69. MANHATTAN TWIST – Unbeaten in 6 starts for Jean-Marie Brecx. Faces a tougher test here but was most impressive last time out and is not incapable of making it 7 on the trot
  70. MAM’ZELLEPAZENAISE – Made a good impression when winning a 2050m Class E at Lyon-La Soie on 19 January. Comes here fresh, competitively-shod, and with a realistic chance of shaking things up
  71. MAMMA PAULO – Ran an encouraging 2nd in a Laval Class E late last month. Loris Ferro could not have wished for a better entry and Franck Ouvrie will be eager to deliver. Chance
Summary: MISSION IMPOSSIBLE (7) bounced back nicely from her Mauquenchy elimination with a fine performance at Le Croise-Laroche earlier in the month and, barefoot for the first time, may just have the edge over the ideally-engaged MAMMA PAULO (12) who reassured at Laval 2.5 weeks ago. MANHATTAN TWIST (10) returns to France after winning six in a row at home in Belgium and will have her chances. Unseen since getting off the mark in January, MAM’ZELLEPAZENAISE (11) enjoys a good entry and although unlikely to repeat can nevertheless finish close.

  72. INDYDARCHE – Gave a good account on 2nd start back when 5th in a Mauquenchy Class E on 24 February. Has the inside line and will not be available at 34-1 this time
  73. JULY DU GUESNE – Ran 3rd in a Vincennes claimer before coming 2nd in an Amiens Class F 3 weeks ago. Benefits from a good draw once more and will be competitive at the business end of affairs
  74. HIJO MOKO – Out of the picture in last 2 starts. Hind shoes off for return to the professional ranks but still not a priority
  75. JOKER DU BOIROND – Starts for the first time since late-December but has demonstrated decent aptitude for racing barefoot and from the 4 slot looks a serious player
  76. JASMIN DANOVER – Did not enjoy the best of trips at Amiens 10 days ago. Has otherwise been going close for some time and is unlikely to disappoint
  77. JALENZA DU BOCAGE – Ran 5th to JULY DU GUESNE (2) at Amiens on re-entry before coming 2nd in a Le Croise-Laroche Class F. Alexis Bescher back in the bike this time and will have a lot to offer. Claim
  78. HELLO DU JAGUY – Modest element that has not been seen out since last August and has no possible chance
  79. INES DES FORETS – Useful in both codes but has just the one run in her since the break and is still in conditioning-mode
  80. JUMBO DES PRES – Given an easy debut for new trainer at Le Croisé-Laroche early this month. Hind shoes off this time and will be expected to deliver. Place chance
  81. IN AMERICA – Has looked very ordinary for some time and quite simply has nothing to offer here
  82. JOLIE FLEUR OR – Has a pair of runs under her belt since the spell. Is barefoot as she was when imposing at Le Croise-Laroche in November, but the draw will do her no favours
  83. JETLAG DE BEAUFOUR – Very disappointing in all 4 starts this year and can be confidently disregarded
  84. JAVA DES AUGERIES – Debuts at Reims after running courageous 4th in a Vincennes Class E last month, however, with pads fitted, confirmation seems unlikely
Summary: Solid in both return runs, JALENZA DU BOCAGE (6) was beaten only by a very good horse at Le Croise-Laroche a week ago and, given the stable’s form, it would be no surprise to see her wrap this up. Alexis Bescher will still be mindful of the better-positioned JULY DU GUESNE (2) who is plainly close to her race. JUMBO DES PRES (9) faces his first objective for his new trainer and will be competitively-shod for the occasion. JASMIN DANOVER (5) has pulled a better number and is confirmed at the venue.

  85. NEW LOOK DANICA – Qualified in 1’18’5 at Caen 2.5 weeks ago. Looks a decent trotter in the making and should not disappoint
  86. NO LIMIT SAUTREUIL – Has kicked her career off with 2 straight eliminations. Sports front pads this time and, if applied, can get in on the action
  87. NORD CALITY – Put in a good showing on debut at Le Croise-Laroche on 23 February even though having faulted. With application though, success should be well within his grasp
  88. NIGHT SNOW – Last but one in a Class F under these conditions on 1 March. Has yet to show any particular flair for the game and can be ignored
  89. NUANCE DU HOULET – Courageous 5th in a Class F at Le Croise-Laroche a week ago but is unlikely to improve on that
  90. NERON DE BEAULIEU – Fastest qualifier here, positng 1’17’7. Ran 3rd in a Class F at Châtillon-sur-Chalaronne on debut early this month and is not incapable of making the frame once again
  91. NOBLESSE MIKA – Pleasant 4th of 12 in a 2200m Strasbourg Class F last Sunday, but in this category will struggle to make her presence felt
  92. NUSTANG JOLY – Looked a different horse at Amiens 10 days ago and will have an important role to play if Jonathan Vanmeerbeck keeps him trotting
  93. NILIPPE MAUZUN – Courageous 3rd of 4 finishers in a 2400m Amiens Class F on debut 10 days ago. Will have benefited from the run and can again figure prominently
  94. NIGHT CLUB – 2nd of 5 finishers on debut in a 2700m Class F at Lyon-La Soie late last month, and a similar effort would see him contest the finish this time
  95. NARCISSE BUROIS – Has placed just once in 4 starts to date. Is being aimed a bit too high this time and chances appear slim
Summary: Although eliminated on debut at Le Croise-Laroche last month, NORD CALITY (3) nonetheless showed his form and Pierre-Yves Verva will be determined to set the record straight. NIGHT CLUB (10) though ran 2nd in Lyon first time out and represents a solid threat. NUSTANG JOLY (8) will have come on for his Amiens re-entry run, even though having lost his action, and the employment of pads may be just what the doctor ordered. NEW LOOK DANICA (1) caught the eye in qualification late last month and is not to be overlooked on his debut.
    SELECTIONS – NORD CALITY (3) – NIGHT CLUB (10) – NUSTANG JOLY (8) – NEW LOOK DANICA (1)
