R1 ENGHIEN [L-H]
C1 – PRIX DE LA PLACE DUPLEIX – 2875m (a2m) – Class B – Harness – EUR € 52,000
- NUBA DE PERVENCHE – Made up for Vincennes clinker when 2nd in an Agen Class C 2 weeks ago, but will nevertheless struggle to confirm
- NINA DE MAI – Won 2 in a row last November before being put away. Starts for the first time since and will not be given a hard re-introduction
- NEPTUNE CHANTE – 4th of 7, a place behind NALA DE FAY (10), in a Vincennes Class C on comeback late last month. Was a bit fresh that day but is clearly a talented filly and must be afforded respect
- NI OUI NI NON – Has yet to put a foot wrong and latterly won a Class D over track and trip on 23 May. Takes a notable hike in category but looks thoroughly up to the task and will be no soft touch
- NEPTUNE DE BLARY – Comfortably imposed at Graignes before trouncing the opposition in a Vincennes Class D a month ago, and with form maintained should have this in the bag
- NUIT MYSTIC – Was going well at Caen before being eliminated. Is unlikely to lose her maiden tag this time either but is plainly in shape and unlikely to go home empty-handed
- NINA HAGEN D’OR – Pleasant 4th over 2150m here in late-April, then ran 2nd in a Vincennes Class C 8 days later. Is not a priority but can still trot her way into the money
- NUANCE CASTELETS – Returns to the capital after twice pleasing in the provinces last month. Is proven here but in this company will have too much to do
- NOVA ISTORIA CHOC – Moderate sort that failed to live up to expectations in Lyon recently and although confirmed at Enghien, still looks an outsider
- NALA DE FAY – Honest filly that always gives her best, most recently finishing a place ahead of NEPTUNE CHANTE (3) at Vincennes 3 weeks ago. Sports a fresh configuration and cannot be ruled out
- NOOR DU CAMPUS – Returns to racing against just her own sex after having held her own against the colts at Caen. Has already won for Alexandre Abrivard and is not incapable of repeating
Summary: Comfortable winner of her last 2 races, NEPTUNE DE BLARY (5) comes to a track that should suit her and the three-timer looks a distinct possibility. She will be opposed though by the improving, and well-engaged, NOOR DU CAMPUS (11) who was beaten only by the colts at Caen, and NI OUI NI NON (4) who steps up in category after opening her account over course and distance three weeks ago. NEPTUNE CHANTE (3) will have come on for her Vincennes return run and will be no pushover.

C2 – PRIX DE BONNE-NOUVELLE – 2875m (a2m) – Class B – Harness – EUR € 52,000 - NOTTINGHAM FIRST – Returns to racing shod after being eliminated at Vincennes early this month, but would be preferred a level down
- NELATO BELLO – Ran 2nd to NEHO CINQ (12) here in late-April but failed to confirm across town next time and others easier to back
- NEMOS DU GOUTIER – Interesting future prospect starting for first time since January and is going to need the race
- NON STOP DE FOOT – Failed to deliver here in March but has twice reassured since and will be reunited with Gabriele Gelormini who won with him at Le Croise-Laroche. First 5
- NOBEL SPEED – Serious colt that was not as sharp as expected last time out, but has a lot more going for him here and will have every chance of contesting the finish
- NINO DE LARRE – Ran 2nd over track and trip before coming 4th in a 2175m Vincennes Class B 11 days ago. Is unlikely to get his nose in front but can still pick up some prizemoney
- NECKLACE – Given a rest after making a lacklustre comeback across town 2 months ago. Clearly has bags of potential and, with pads fitted, can prove the point
- NEW YORK D’OYSE – 16 starts and has yet to lose his maiden tag. Has yet to excel at Enghien and is unlikely to influence the outcome
- NO MAN’S LAND – Quality future prospect that encountered no resistance at Vincennes last month, on his first start since January. Will have improved for the run and can repeat
- NOTEBOOK – Won 2 in a row before being eliminated at Caen on 9 May. Showed his form though and on good behaviour can give NO MAN’S LAND (9) a run for his money
- NON STOP MESLOIS – Returns to racing with pads after prepping at Caen early last month. Faces better horses this time and is not about to shake things up
- NEHO CINQ – Has done nothing but improve since his February debut, most recently securing a 2nd straight victory, clinching a 2150m Class D here on 27 April. Comes here fresh but may be taking on too much this time
- NAKALOUN – Showed considerable improvement 3 weeks ago when 3rd in a 2700m Vincennes Class C. A repeat, however, seems unlikely
Summary: As solid as a rock since his victorious Cherbourg debut last November, NO MAN’S LAND (9) got straight down to business on last month’s Vincennes re-entry and has every chance of making his Enghien bow a winning one. Leading the opposition, NOTEBOOK (10) returns to racing left-handed following his Caen elimination. NOBEL SPEED (5) has done enough to be considered a player on his debut in the capital, sports front pads for the occasion, and the engagement of Eric Raffin will only enhance his good prospects. NECKLACE (7) has shown potential and the application of pads may be just what the doctor ordered.

C3 – PRIX JOURNAL WEEK-END (PLACE VICTOIRES) – 2150m (a1m1/4) – Class E – Harness – EUR € 35,000 - MIGUEL DE LOU – Looked a different horse at Caen mid-May when barefoot for the first time. Tends to show more racing right-handed but in current condition is hard to ignore
- MANOLA DE MUZE – Reverts to her recent Vincennes configuration after failing to deliver at Meslay in early-May. Is new to Enghien and can expect to find this company marginally tougher
- MAGIC D’AIMTE – Has looked considerably more professional this term, latterly 2nd in an Argentan Class E on 11 May. Trainer could not have wished for a better entry and Paul Ploquin will be keen to oblige
- MERCURY DELO – Showed early promise but has been very disappointing in 2026 and is not about to influence the result
- MARDONIOS – Has returned to competition in excellent shape, latterly 2nd in a Le Mans Class E on 21 May. Has been knocking at the door and Louis Baudron can be excused for feeling bullish. Claim
- MINOTOR D’ALOUETTE – Should not be too hastily-condemned for faulting on comeback at Ecommoy late last month. Will appreciate the mobile start and from the front row can play a leading role
- MARQUISE DE STAM – Comfortable winner of a Class E at Châtelaillon-La Rochelle on 10 May, her first association with Eric Raffin, who will be eager to confirm. Attention
- MADE IN CASTELETS – Got off the mark at Lyon-Parilly in late-April, at 17th time of asking, however confirmation is not anticipated
- MAVINA DES ETANGS – Is not without merit but comes to Enghien on the back of 3 straight sanctions and can expect to have few friends
- MISTER LA NUIT – Made amends for re-entry elimination when 3rd, a place behind MARDONIOS (5), in a Le Mans Class E on 21 May. Starts on the back row but clearly has the wherewithal to get in on the action
- MOJITO CENE – Was going good-guns earlier this year but lacklustre in last 2, and the draw will not help matters
- MUSTANG DE REUX – Moderate type that has yet to impress this season and from the back row will have nothing to offer
- MICKEY DE CRENNES – Lost his maiden status at Graignes 3 weeks ago but failed to confirm at Mauquenchy last week and can be passed over
Summary: Difficult to knock when focused, MARDONIOS (5) takes his first competitive Enghien steps after 2 fine performances in the provinces. He won his only start over a similar trip and from the 5 slot can confirm. That being said, he will be forced to take on the serious MINOTOR D’ALOUETTE (6) who will be partnered by Gabriele Gelormini for his first objective of the season, and MARQUISE DE STAM (7) who took very little time returning to the winners’ enclosure. MISTER LA NUIT (10) may not be the most dependable of horses but he gave a good account behind Louis Baudron’s colt last time out and cannot be discounted.

C4 – PRIX DE NEW YORK – 2150m (a1m1/4) – Class A – Harness – EUR € 90,000 - JILORD VIVA – Quality trotter that has not been seen out since 21 March. Is shod as he was when victorious across town last November, but still needs to find more
- HAMONET DE CHOISEL – Good dual-discipline sort that showed his form under the saddle at Caen last month, but stays shod for the occasion and best to hold off
- IBIZA BELLA – Serious mare that made up for some poor luck on 2 May when close 2nd in a 2850m Vincennes Class B a fortnight ago. Has been handed a top spot in front and Antoine Wiels will be keen to make hay
- INVICTUS MADIBA – Gave a good account on Vincennes comeback but failed to deliver at Le Croise-Laroche last month and, in spite of a good draw, is still out of her depth
- LANCIER DU GOUTIER – Fine servant with an enviable win-rate. Has never failed to deliver at Enghien, enjoys a terrific entry, and is going to take some beating
- GRAND TRIO LUDOIS – Has placed just once in 5 starts this year and returns to the capital with too much to do
- INDUS VAL – Drops back down the category-ladder after running 3rd in a GNT Gr.3 at Le Croise-Laroche on 20 May. Presents fine course-and-distance credentials and is unlikely to disappoint
- INDY ROCK – Tricky but talented element with a good engine. Has not tasted success for some time, and is unlikely to on this occasion either, but is useful when focused and the change of hands may be his ticket to redemption
- PHANTOM EXPRESS – Justifiably well-regarded sort making Enghien bow after having beaten the superb Epic Kronos at Romme 3 weeks ago. Is not ideally-placed on the 2nd row but under these conditions looks a player
- HEADSCOTT – Useful on a good day but starts for the first time since 17 April and is going to need the race
- JAZZMAN (GER) – Undeniably capable but is not always the most dependable. Starts for first time since 21 March but is clearly in competition-mode and will not be far off the mark if Alexandre Abrivard successfully navigates the break
- COLBERT WF – Produced a good performance to come 4th of 10 in a Class B over track and trip 3 weeks ago. Has pulled a tougher number this time but can still pick up some prizemoney
- ELEGANCE KRONOS – Has not won for some time but always gives her best. Ran 9th in this race last year and again looks to have too much to do
- HOLD UP DU SAPTEL – Makes first appearance since running 4th in a Vincennes Class B on 13 February and will have few takers
- LIGHTNING STRIDE – Showed improvement under the saddle in Gothenburg early last month but has nothing going for her here and can be passed over
- HAMILTON DU HAM – Made up for 2 May blip when 3rd, a place behind IBIZA BELLA (3), in a 2850m Vincennes Class B a fortnight ago. Pulled a tough number and is unlikely to repeat, but should nevertheless acquit himself honourably
Summary: After having set his personal best reduction across town a week ago, LANCIER DU GOUTIER (5) goes barefoot for the first time and from the 5 slot can make this his own. INDUS VAL (7) has a particular liking for Enghien and in current form may just prove the principal danger. Back in France after having scored at home in Sweden recently, PHANTOM EXPRESS (9) will be partnered by Benjamin Rochard who placed with him in a Vincennes Gr.2 last December. IBIZA BELLA (3) won under these conditions 2 months ago, most recently just missed out over longer, has been reconfigured, and the draw will do her chances no harm. INDY ROCK (8) is forced to start wide but will be partnered by Mathieu Mottier for his first objective for the Jörgen Westholm stable, and could pleasantly surprise.

C5 – PRIX DE LEVET – 2875m (a2m) – Class B – Harness – EUR € 60,000 - LE RETOUR VRIE – Quality trotter but stays shod for comeback and best to keep one’s powder dry
- LOYAL DU CHOQUEL – Made up for faulting here on 23 May when 3rd to LE GRAAL (14) in a 2700m Vincennes Class C 6 days later, and with form maintained can again figure prominently
- LE MIRACLE – Good, consistent sort that ran 2nd over shorter here before being eliminated at Ecommoy late last month. Takes on a more serious bunch this time though and chances appear limited
- LOVING DREAM – Pleased in 2 provincial runs this spring. Was most impressive here last season but at this level will have his work cut out
- L’ATOLL – Generous trotter making Enghien debut after losing his action at Vincennes late last month. Is in decent shape but looks a minor place chance at best
- LIVANTO KALOUMA – Hardy type making first appearance since early-March. Is confirmed here but has been fitted with shoes and is not a concern
- LEADER D’AIMTE – Capable on a good day, and comes here fresh, but has done little of note this year and is unlikely to create an upset
- LAGNU MAG – Reverts to a previous formula after a number of disappointments this term and can be confidently ruled out
- LAHIRE DE NAPPES – Reverts to a successful formula after a much-needed freshener at Vincennes on 22 May. Is new to Enghien but should nevertheless appreciate its profile, and has the wherewithal to contest a place on the podium
- LE GENTLEMAN – Most impressive winner of a Class C under these conditions 3 weeks ago despite a poor trip. Has yet to be bested at Enghien and Benjamin Rochard will endeavour to keep that fact relevant
- LE CASHMAKER – Got back in the winners’ circle at Marseille-Borely mid-May when easily securing a 3000m Class B. Has placed once in 3 Enghien starts and could pick up some minor honours
- LITTLE STAR FLEURY – 20-1 winner at Vichy on 11 May before being trounced at Saint-Malo 3 weeks ago, and has too much to do this time
- LOVE GLYCINES – Returns to racing left-handed after coming 6th to LITTLE STAR FLEURY (12) in a Vichy Class B on 11 May. Did place in both Enghien starts though and will have his supporters
- LE GRAAL – Returns to a track he likes after winning 2 straight across town, both with consummate ease, and a 3rd straight win is well within his reach
- LEGACY JIEL – Reliability not his strong suit but gave a good account of himself in a Vincennes Class B on 22 May. David Thomain in the bike this time and, given the entry, should be good enough to make the frame
- LIKE YOU – Complicated mare benefitting from a superb engagement here. Comfortably won a Class B at Ecommoy a fortnight back and with stride in check, can again run her way into the money
Summary: Easy winner of his last 2 races, both at Vincennes, LE GRAAL (14) is well-entered here, reverts to racing barefoot, and looks thoroughly capable of securing the hat-trick. Théo Duvaldestin will still want to be wary of LE GENTLEMAN (10) who is unbeaten in 3 starts here, and LEGACY JIEL (15) who showed improvement across town 3 weeks ago. LAHIRE DE NAPPES (9) lost his action on re-entry that day, but will have come on for the run and will be more competitively-shod this time.

C6 – PRIX DES INVALIDES – 2875m (a2m) – Class C – Harness – EUR € 68,000 - JAVANAIS DELO – Fine servant starting for the first time since early-March, but is shod for the occasion and best to hold off
- JAIN MAB – 6th behind JACOMO BELLO (16) in a 2700m Vincennes Class B on 22 May. Is considerably better than the result would suggest and can trot her way into the frame this time
- IF I TELL YOU – Useful sort but would have better prospects in the claiming category and is also going to need the run
- IOUPY TOLLEVILLE – Reverts to racing with pads after coming 6th behind JACOMO BELLO (16) at Vincennes a fortnight back. Has little room for manoeuvre in this category but can nevertheless make his presence felt
- HARIBO DU CARNOIS – Has placed just once in 6 starts this term and can be confidently ruled out
- IVOIRE DAIRPET – Should not be too hastily-judged for running 8th behind JACOMO BELLO (16) at Vincennes 2 weeks ago. Is clearly in excellent shape and Eric Raffin will be determined to set the record straight
- IRON D’ESPOIR – Struggled earlier in the season but has since started to come good, latterly making short work of a Montauban Class E late last month. Faces a tougher test here though and is not an obvious choice
- ISERIA GRIFF – Has not been firing on all cylinders lately but presents solid Enghien credentials and represents a respectable first-5 chance
- JAPAROV LIRE – Mixes the good with the less-good but ran reassuring 4th behind JACOMO BELLO (16) in a 2700m Vincennes Class B on 22 May. Is reunited with Mathieu Mottier who won with him earlier in the year and will not be sent out at 24-1 this time
- ICARE DU VENT – Capable sort making first appearance since late-March. Is barefoot for re-entry but has no Enghien references and in this company may find the going a bit too tough
- HAPPY FACE – Returned to competitive ways at Castillonnes when 3rd in a 3475m Class D early last month. Has been afforded ample time to get back to his best and can play a small role
- IQUEM D’AMER – Ended last season on a low note and has picked up this spring where he left off. Disregard
- HIGH FIRE DAIRPET – Has been a complete write-off for past 18 months and will have nothing to offer
- HAPPY DANOVER – Surprise 5th in an Eauze Class A on turf last Sunday, however a repeat seems most improbable
- IPALIO – Barefoot following a pair of Mons conditioners in April. Benjamin Rochard reining and the excellent entry will do his prospects no harm
- JACOMO BELLO – Tough, dependable element with nothing to prove under these conditions. Has won twice at the venue and Francois Lagadeuc has landed himself a superb spare drive. Claim
Summary: Wonderfully-engaged at the limit of earnings, and plainly close to his race, JACOMO BELLO (16) returns to Enghien where he has already won twice, and looks the pick of the field. Unplaced behind him 2 weeks ago after having imposed at Laval, IVOIRE DAIRPET (6) has a point to prove. JAPAROV LIRE (9) and JAIN MAB (2) finished 4th & 6th respectively a week earlier, but Anthony Barrier with the latter will be expecting to turn the tables.

C7 – PRIX DE LA PORTE DE LA PLAINE – 2875m (a2m) – Class A – Harness – EUR € 62,000 - MONI MAKING PACE – Produced a 15-1 surprise on re-entry last month when runner-up to MALIUM (4) in a Vincennes Class B. Will have progressed for the race and is unlikely to be far off the mark
- MACHIAVEL BOURBON – Has bags of ability but has struggled since returning this term. Was pulled-up across town last time out and will first need to re-establish his credentials
- MOSAIC LIFE – Undeniably capable but is as capricious as the wind. Sports a new formula but others still easier to trust
- MALIUM – Has imposed 3 times already this year, most recently convincing winner of a Vincennes Class B a month ago. Will have no issues with the Enghien profile and looks biggest danger to MAHARAJA ATOUT (7)
- MANASLU – Gave a fine account on re-entry in 22 May race of reference before flopping in a Vincennes Gr.2 a week ago. Has previously imposed under these conditions and at this level will have his chances
- MIRISS DE GUEZ – Moderate filly making first appearance since last November and is going to need the run
- MAHARAJA ATOUT – Failed to both secure the hat-trick and live up to expectations when 6th behind MARQUETY DE BAILLY (8) in Gr.3 Prix Caecilia at Vincennes 3 weeks ago. Will find conditions to his liking here though and will be expected to put things right
- MARQUETY DE BAILLY – Sprang an 81-1 surprise when 3rd in Gr.3 Prix Caecilia across town 3 weeks ago, although a repeat is not on the cards
- GUARDAMI – Like a horse reborn in 2026. Prepped in Gr.3 Prix Caecilia, is shod to preference this time, and is not about to let the side down
- MOUFFETARD – Serious type that won his only start under these conditions. Ran close 3rd in a Vincennes Class A last time out and, on good behaviour, can challenge for a place in first 5
Summary: A serious colt with a promising future, MAHARAJA ATOUT (7) takes a dip in class after holding his own in the Gr.3 Prix Caecilia at Vincennes 3 weeks ago; he will appreciate Enghien’s even surface and can impose this time. MANASLU (5) finished ahead of him that day and will be configured as he was on that occasion, but may first have to see off the tricky but talented MALIUM (4) who has won 3 of the last 4 races he has finished. GUARDAMI (9) has a particular liking for French conditions and excels in the day’s configuration.

C8 – PRIX DE LA PLACE BALARD – 2875m (a2m) – Class C – Mounted – EUR € 68,000 - IBIS DE CHAHAINS – Has turned a corner lately, most recently 2nd in a Class D over course and distance 3 weeks ago, but can expect to meet his match this time
- HORSY ROYAL – Has made little impact in either code for some time and is not about to change his ways
- JINGLE DELO – Gives a good account for the most part and has won at the venue. Encouraged at Laval earlier in the month and, in similar shape, can again make first 5
- HEVA BLONDE – Has ample ability but has been out of sorts recently and needs to get her house in order
- JUS DE FRUIT – Took time to come to hand this year, and has no particular love for Enghien, but turned a corner last month and should be retained
- IMELDA – Comfortable course-and-distance winner prior to being prepped under harness at Vincennes. Goes well for her jockey and is unlikely to be far off the mark
- ICARE WILLIAMS – Makes first monte start of the year after being eliminated under harness across town 3 weeks ago. Won under these conditions last time here and enjoys a realistic chance of making the frame
- GLADIATOR BOY – By no means the worst horse here but has placed just once in 7 starts this term and will have few friends
- HIS DREAM DE CAHOT – Has done nothing noteworthy since placing at Vincennes early this year and can be passed over
- HARDI CROWN – Returns to the discipline following 3 straight harness sanctions and with shoes fitted will have nothing to contribute
- INTOUCHABLE – Gr.2 placed in the discipline and recently reassuring under harness. Has placed in 1 of 2 for Mathieu Mottier and should not be underestimated
- HOLD UP DES VENTES – Has not been seen out since winning a Chateaubriant Class D on 22 April. Ran 3rd to IT’S MY DREAM (13) here in March and even with shoes fitted still looks a player
- IT’S MY DREAM – Serious type with a fine Enghien record. Imposed easily here in March, is well-engaged, and will be expected to bring the fight to GARD (14)
- GARD – Simply superb under the saddle this season, winning all 3, including a Class C over 2250m here in March. Stormed up at Caen last time and will be expected to confirm
Summary: Winner of all 3 monte starts this season, including over shorter here, GARD (14) benefits from a terrific entry and will be well-backed to win this. Also well-in here, IT’S MY DREAM (13) imposed under these very conditions in March and will be reunited with Alexandre Abrivard. ICARE WILLIAMS (7) is hard to fault in this branch of the business, returns to racing shod, and Oscar Placier knows him well. INTOUCHABLE (11) showed considerable improvement under harness at Caen and returns to the discipline with a potentially good hand to play.

C9 – PRIX DE BLAMONT – 2875m (a2m) – Class C – Harness – EUR € 53,000 - JACQUES MEARAS – Useful at home in Sweden but has yet to deliver since coming south. Is competitively-shod for comeback but others still preferred
- MAN OF STEEL (GER) – Unremarkable element that was eliminated in Hamburg late last month. Has won 1 of 2 under these conditions but has no realistic chance this time
- EVER SO MUCH – Fine nordic raider that finished 5th in a 2700m Vincennes Class E mid-May. Is reunited with Mathieu Mottier for just his 2nd French start and can again make first 5
- MOSES BOKO – Fine nordic trotter that has endured an interrupted career. Is unraced since last August and is going to need the run
- JUDGE DREDD SISU – 4th in a Vincennes Quinte mid-May before coming 3rd in an Agen Class E a fortnight later. Takes on a better lot here though and represents no more than an outside chance
- MICHIGAN BRO – Ran 2nd at Le Croise-Laroche before coming 3rd at Nancy late last month. Is quite obviously close to his race and looks competitive for a place in the picture
- PERFECT – Placed on comeback at Halmstad but out of the picture in next 2 and makes Enghien bow with little to contribute
- PURE STEEL – Started to come good again in March and April but has since come off the boil and is unlikely to spice things up
- EL DORADO BAR – Fine campaigner but has been somewhat capricious lately. Returns to a more even surface and, if applied, can wrap this up
- DAUPHIN JOYEUSE – Lacklustre 7th to ROCKY MOM (12) in a 2700m Vincennes Class E on 6 May after having imposed at San Siro 11 days earlier. Makes first start for new yard though, is reunited with Paul Ploquin who won with him in December, and must be taken seriously
- EBANO D’ARC – Has looked rather ordinary since leaving Sweden. David Thomain in the bike this time but still not a priority
- ROCKY MOM – As honest as the day is long and early last month won a Class E Quinte across town. Will have no issues with the new venue and will be no soft touch when push comes to shove
- KALINOU QUICK – Never far from faulting but otherwise regularly finishes in the mix. Anthony Barrier in the bike this time and can again figure prominently if he keeps his charge focused
- FASHION MONGER – Tough sort making Enghien debut after a well-earned rest. Will appreciate the new conditions and Eric Raffin will be justifiably confident of a big run. Chance
- JACK DU BARBEY – Tough trotter but has not been seen out since early-January and best to wait
Summary: Winner of 2 in a row earlier in the year, EL DORADO BAR (9) was subsequently eliminated in his next 2, but he has been fitted with a fresh configuration which may be precisely what’s required. Alexandre Abrivard will still be keeping an eye on quality Swedish raider FASHION MONGER (14) who is clearly in race-mode for his return to the game. Not once out of the frame in 33 starts, ROCKY MOM (12) adapts to all situations and his recent Vincennes performance bodes well for his chances. MICHIGAN BRO (6) has taken well to French conditions, should appreciate the Enghien profile, and Franck Ouvrie gets the nod this time.

- PHU QUOC – Dam was unraced and this gelding doesn’t make much appeal on debut. Others inspire more confidence
Summary: VEGAMIX (7) ran below expectations last time out but wasn’t disgraced and if he repeats his debut effort then he could get the job done. He should have every chance from a neat gate. LLANDUDNO (1) has produced three solid efforts to date and looks ready to notch up his maiden success. He will be bang there once again. WATCH THE KING (4) is neatly drawn and has been building up steadily with his runs to date so needs to be included. - IMDALA – Dam won twice over 1400/1700m and this represents strong connections and demands the utmost of respect. Include in the play
- KAPLYA – Dam won four races from 1000m – 1400m and this newcomer is one worth noting on debut. The market will be our best guide
- QUELLIS – Dam was a maiden and this filly doesn’t make much appeal on debut. Will have her work cut out to make an impact
Summary: VICTORY PACE (5) showed solid improvement to get into 2nd spot last time out and if just building on that effort, it could be good enough to see her score here. CHILADA (3) made pleasing progress on her French debut and will have a lot more to come in this. She can provide a big threat to the top pick. MACKAYA (4) ran her career best last time out and can continue to show improvement. KAPLYA (11) is a newcomer who won’t need to be anything special to make her presence felt first up.

GLAM LIGHT (11) is yet to taste victory but is a honest sort. She will be poisonous in hopes of shedding her maiden here. - MR SAY – Placed 4th on his last run over 1100m at Dieppe in a claiming race on June 6th. Can make the frame
- OROPENDOLA – Colt by Yafta, the dam won 2 races. Likely to need this outing for experience and is best watched for the time being
- GUNNAR ENLUND – Gelding by Armor, the dam was unraced. From a trainer that knows the time of day. The betting can be the most informative guide to expected performance
- ENFANT PARADIS – Five unplaced runs, the latest over 1100m at Dieppe in a claimer on June 6th. Capable of a better performance this time
- ANOTHER CHANCE – Filly on debut by Wooded, the dam never ran. Stable runners are not usually fully tuned for their opening run and she will know more next time
- OBSIDIAN GLORY – Two runs so far and yet to trouble the judge, 5th on the most recent over 1200m in a claimer on May 18th at Marseille Borely. Look elsewhere
Summary: BODY PHYSICAL (1) has been admirably consistent, recording five placed efforts, and his connections appear to have found a good opportunity for him to return to winning ways. GUNNAR ENLUND (4) could prove the main threat. He boasts an appealing pedigree, and his trainer is likely to have him well prepared for this assignment. ENFANT PARADIS (5) will need to improve to feature prominently but rates as one of the more likely challengers, alongside MR SAY (2), who can battle for the minor honours.

Summary: TERREDEGUERRE (2) arrives in good form after two strong performances, including a victory at this track when last seen in late May. She is taken to follow up and may prove too strong for STUNNING ANGEL (9), who looks the principal threat. She was fourth behind the selection here in May and, with better terms at the weights today, could make things interesting. ARCUBIATU (4) appeals as a solid each-way option, while SAINT FIACRE (6) returned to form with an improved effort last time and is best of the remainder.

Summary: IDAHO JAMES (4) can be rewarded for his recent consistency with another deserved success. He is preferred ahead of TOPINAMBUR (5), who ran a solid race when finishing second in a Class 4 handicap at Strasbourg late last month and could make life difficult for the selection. Summary: LADY MANA (1) ran a solid race when finishing fourth in a Class 4 handicap at Salon Provence over this distance late last month and can come out on top here. FUNTANO (6) rates the main danger. He scored over 2000m at this track on his penultimate start in April and has been a model of consistency.

C6 – PRIX ALBERT SWANN – 1600m (a1m) – TURF – Class 2 – Flat – EUR € 20,100 - TESTIFY – Finished 6th on the latest start over 1700m at Marseille Borely in a Class 2 race on April 27th. Others rate higher
- SAINT ARNOULT – Two good runs, 2nd on the latter over 1600m in a Class 2 race at Saint-Cloud on May 29th, and a win on debut in April at Salon Provence. Lightly raced and has more to come
- NUEVO QUARTZ – Won on his debut over 1600m in a maiden race at Cavaillon on March 1st by two lengths. Can improve but might come up short
- YMEEELIH – Unplaced in the Poule D’Essai Des Pouliches (Gr.1) on May 10th at Parislongchamp over 1600m last time. 2nd before that in a Class 2 race on April 16th. Back in calmer waters she can be effective
- DARMORA – Won on her sole start over 1400m in a maiden race at Niort on May 17th by a neck. Open to progress and can make the frame
- FAMILY SECRET – Two 6th unplaced runs this year, the latter of them over 2100m in a Listed race at Toulouse on April 19th. Track and trip winner in a maiden last October. Capable of making the top-three
- VALDORCIA – Two unplaced runs in Listed races of late, 2nd before that in a Class 1 race at La Teste over 1200m on April 1st. Among the leading contenders
Summary: YMEEELIH (4) was unable to make an impact at Group 1 level last time, but her previous second in a Class 2 contest at ParisLongchamp was a strong effort and she is taken to come out on top here.
The main danger could be SAINT ARNOULT (2), who remains lightly raced and shaped well when finishing second in a Class 2 event at Saint-Cloud in late May. VALDORCIA (7) also warrants respect, dropping in class after two outings in Listed company, while FAMILY SECRET (6) is another worthy of respect.

C7 – PRIX LOUIS SAULNIER – 1600m (a1m) – TURF – Claiming – Flat – EUR € 11,500 - L’ALTA ROCCA – Two poor runs of late at this track, 2nd before that over 1600m in a handicap at Saint-Cloud on March 5th. Has the ability to feature
- DAR ES SALAAM – Unplaced last time over this track and trip, 3rd before that over the same in a maiden on May 8th. Looks capable of making his presence felt
- HALSEY – Finished 5th at Evreux in a claimer over 1800m on May 26th last time. Capable of making the frame with improvement
- ANGEL DREAMER – Out of form with five unplaced runs this year, the latter over 1550m in a handicap at Strasbourg on May 27th. One to avoid
- YODA – Three tame efforts of late, 6th on the most recent over 1850m at Hyeres in a claiming race on June 5th. Hardly inspiring
- AGNESIT’A – Placed 3rd on the latest start over 1500m at Marseille Vivaux in a claimer on May 22nd. Ought to play a leading role
- SHATIVA – Unplaced over the track/trip on May 8th, 3rd before that over the same in a claimer on April 13th. Unreliable and is not to be trusted
Summary: DAR ES SALAAM (2) was a tad below par last time in a handicap, but his two previous efforts at this track where full of encouragement in maiden races, when placed on both of them. Dropping in class he can get off the mark at the expense of AGNESIT’A (6), who has won on the PSF before and has placed form on turf in claiming events earlier this year. L’ALTA ROCCA (1) will need more than shown at this track recently, but has the ability to be involved. HALSEY (3) heads the rest.

C8 – PRIX ANDRE PALMER – 2000m (a1m1/4) – TURF – Maiden – Flat – EUR € 19,200 - BLACK WALL SHADOW – Finished 6th on the only run over 2000m in a maiden at this track on May 23rd. Might find a few of these too smart

- BRUNETTE COLEMAN – Placed on two of her three runs, 3rd on the latter over 2000m at Salon Provence in a maiden race on May 25th. Key chance
- SHAMBHALLA – Finished 7th on her second start over 2400m at Compiegne in a maiden race on May 20th, 4th on debut in a Class 1 race in April. Player
- FLASH GIRL – Placed 4th on the latest start over 2000m at this track in a maiden race on May 23rd. Has the talent to score
- BI BOISY – Two unplaced runs of late, well beaten at Lyon Parilly over 1600m on May 8th. Unlikely to trouble the principles
- GHENGIS KHAN – Unraced gelding by City Light, the dam ran twice. Stable runners tend to need a run or two to reach peak fitness and he is best watched with the future in mind
Summary: FLASH GIRL (7) ran a promising race in a maiden at this track in late May and is given the narrow vote to come out on top. The main threat could be BRUNETTE COLEMAN (5), who has finished placed on her last three starts, most recently when third at Salon Provence on May 25. SHAMBHALLA (6) also merits consideration despite a slightly below-par effort at Compiegne in May. She had previously shown promise when finishing fourth on her debut. THE LEGEND (2) completes the shortlist

Summary: IMPATIENTE NAY (3) continues to improve with age and impressed when taking on younger rivals successfully last time in her region. She will need to be at her best to fend off IRIS DU LIVIER (6), a track specialist who landed a race here recently. JOSY DES LANDES (7) is a tough and genuine performer capable of holding her own even with shoes on, while the in-form JIRARDIERE MERITE (2) is also capable of giving them plenty to think about.

Summary: The visitors may well dominate proceedings. JOG JELOCA (1) tends to raise his game when fitted with front shoes and rarely disappoints on his travels. JOURNAL INTIME (4), with three runs under his belt, should now be approaching peak fitness. JASMIN BLEU (8) and IGLIANO DES IRIS (12) will need to overcome tricky positions behind the autostart but are capable of making their presence felt at the finish.

- L’ULTIME D’AXEL – Successful in a class F mounted race at Laval over 2850m on 28 March. Returns from a short break and could need this run
- L’INDIEN PEARL – Disqualified in a class E at Grenade-sur-Garonne over 2725m on 31 May. In good form before that and should be competitive if staying in stride
Summary: LE PRINCE DE JYR (5) made a good impression in his return to action and looks the one they all have to beat. He will, however, need to see off the Laudren-trained duo, headed by LIPTON DE CLERCE (4), a strong finisher last time out, and LARSON DU MARNIS (8), who could take some catching if keeping his stride throughout. L’INDIEN PEARL (11) appears the best of those starting from the second line and should not be underestimated.

Summary: A tricky mares’ contest where confidence is limited. LAIKA DU LEARD (14) is given a tentative vote as she has the ability to beat this field, provided she keeps her stride in check. L’ETOILE DE PAME (13) holds solid claims having finished ahead of several of these rivals at Agen in March. LABLETTE JIHEM (7), a previous winner at this track, and the classy LAGHERTHA DU PONT (15) also have the quality to win a race of this nature.

Summary: A very open race. NARCOS DE BRION (3) would have finished much closer at Royan-Atlantique but for a costly early error.
