  5. JOROLINA – Unraced daughter of Mehmas out of the Frankel mare, Guineve. This well-bred filly was bought for 200,000 euros last summer
  6. ILEOLA – She is a daughter of Galileo Gold out of the Scalo mare, Ivola. Overlook unless the betting market suggests otherwise
  7. ETOILE D ARMOR – First timer by Armor out of the Elusive City mare, Tolosa. Stephane Pasquier will do duty, and she will come on from the run
  8. SEXXY – Unraced daughter of Mohaather out of the Areion mare, Perl. The booking of Christophe Soumillon is encouraging but she may need the experience
  9. FONTANA DI TREVI – Is the mount of Alexis Pouchin. She is a daughter of Victor Ludorum and is related to seven-time winner, I Dare. Watch the betting market
    Summary: VARDANIYA (1) comes from a strong dam line and is related to the unbeaten Varandir. Mickael Barzalona does duty for the powerful Francis-Henri Graffard stable. JOROLINA (5) is another daughter of Mehmas and is the mount of Pierre-Charles Boudot. She is well-related and should produce a positive effort. Trainer Amy Murphy will be sending out two fillies. DREAM OF GLORY (2) will get the services of Tony Piccone and Tom Marquand will do duty aboard WONDER BAILEYS (3). The betting market will be the best guide.

    Summary: The unbeaten DIAMOND NECKLACE (8) has won both of her starts at Group 1 level, most recently landing the Poule d’Essai des Pouliches at Parislongchamp on May 10, and sets a formidable standard. GREEN SPIRIT (10) finished third in that contest and could prove the best of the French-trained fillies. EVOLUTIONIST (1) impressed when winning her trial in April before producing an excellent runner-up effort in the English 1000 Guineas (Gr.1) at Newmarket early last month, making her a major contender. ESNA (6) also warrants respect after a Listed success in mid-May and is another with strong claims.

    Summary: Having shaped well on her debut in the mounted code, MISS EUROPA (15) could play a leading role in this competitive field. Recent Graignes winner MALOUINES QUESNOT (12) arrives in top form and must be hugely respected. MEYEURTO POINSTART (16) is worth noting on the strength of last season’s efforts. MAGIC DIGEO (11) also has solid references, particularly his early-year performance at Vincennes, and is not without a chance if reproducing that level form.

    Summary: JOSS AIMEF (8) has little to prove on recent form. A winner on his sole previous visit to this track on 3 May, he is taken to come out on top once again. JOS MAZA (10) is better than his latest effort suggests and is worth another chance. JUST A DOLLAR (1) arrives in good heart and commands healthy respect. Recent winner JALIMEDE (11) remains well treated under those conditions and should be competitive despite the slight rise in grade.

  35. KOMAN – Disqualified in class E at Vichy over 2950m on 18 May. Successful back in March and has a winning chance
  36. KANELLE STAR – Off form and finished 8th in class D at Le Mans over 2950m on 21 May. Needs to do a bit more to score
    Summary: A tricky contest in which KOMAN (15) is worth another chance after his recent disqualification. His previous form suggests he remains capable of landing a race of this nature. KIDAM DU METZ (13) is not the easiest to trust, but his penultimate course victory showed what he is capable of when everything falls into place. KIMIKO DU DOUBS (14) appears to be heading in the right direction and rates another serious contender. KEPHORA (10) is interesting reunited with Pierre-Yves Verva.

  44. LEONARD – Broke a long losing run with a victory in Class E over this track and trip on 24 May. Can double up if in the same mood
  45. LUCKY BOY – Disqualified in three of his last four starts, including last time out at Avignon over 2650m on 24 May. Hard to trust and makes little appeal
  46. LONGING VENESI – Finished 7th in Class F at Le Croisé-Laroche over 2700m on 1 June. Some good wins before that and must be respected in this line-up
    Summary: The vote goes to LACKING SPIRIT (4), who gained a deserved breakthrough success last time and looks capable of building on that effort. LEONARD (8) arrives on the back of a course-and-distance victory and rates a major danger. LISBETH MIX (3) has been knocking on the door and should be thereabouts once more. LEON SEVEN (6) possesses the ability to play a leading role if able to keep his manners in check throughout.

    Summary: MONEY DI MALAVITA (5) has endured little luck in recent starts and will be looking to make amends. MAITRE DU CHENE (1), unbeaten in two appearances at this venue, rates a serious threat. MEDELLIN ELLIS (11) is an intriguing contender with the benefit of racing barefoot all round for the first time. MISTERIOSO (3) is also entitled to plenty of respect judged on his penultimate victory over this course and could prove a danger if reproducing that level of form.

    Summary: A competitive affair in which several hold legitimate claims. MIMI DU MESNIL (6) returns to a track where she remains unbeaten in three appearances and is sure to go close. MALINE DU PLESSIS (4) arrives in excellent form, while MARIANNE (7) continues to run with great consistency and should be suited by racing without shoes once again. MAGIC GIRL (12) caught the eye at Amiens and is particularly interesting now tried barefoot all round for the first time.

  76. NATASHA DES BAUX – Disqualified twice in her last three starts, the latest in a mounted race at Vincennes over 2850m. Can earn some money when smart
  77. NAPOLEON DE GAGOU – Returned to form with a win of in Class F at La Capelle over 2750m on 24 May. Looks capable of doubling up
  78. NORD CALITY – Has improved of late and finished runner-up in Class D at Reims over 2550m on 25 May. Can challenge for top honours
    Summary: Recent course-and-distance winner NAPOLEON DE GAGOU (7) looks capable of following up with Paul Ploquin back in the sulky. NORD CALITY (8) has been knocking on the door and rates the main danger, while NOLLY WOOD (5) would have strong claims if able to keep her manners in check throughout. The newcomer NIRVANA JIEL (1) is also worth noting on debut; a maternal brother to recent Prix d’Amérique hero Hokkaido Jiel, he represents a family packed with quality and commands immediate respect.
