BANK ON SATANO REVE GOING ONE BETTER IN JUBILEE

Fine Form
Satono Reve RA – 3.40

can go one better than last year’s runner-up finish in his bid to become Japan’s first Royal Ascot winner in the Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Stakes.
The seven-year-old six-furlong specialist was denied the historic victory during last season’s renewal when Lazzat held off Noriyuki Hori’s superstar by half a length.
Japan’s shining light eased to Grade One success on home soil in March before being Ka Ying Rising’s closest rival in the Chairman’s Sprint Prize last time out to prove he remains at the elite level.
He will be joined in the saddle by Ryan Moore, who will reunite with the Lord Kanaloa entire following their partnership in the Hong Kong Sprint in December.
Moore’s quality and his experience of the Berkshire track could be the difference for Sanoto Reve this time around, with the (hopefully) faster ground also a positive.
Jan Brueghel RA – 3.05
should bounce back from his Coronation Cup reversal and provide Aidan O’Brien with a fifth Hardwicke Stakes success.
The son of Galileo, who won the St Leger in 2024 before securing the Epsom Group One last summer, had started the season strongly with a comfortable Ormonde Stakes triumph, only for Bay City Roller to emphatically dethrone him a fortnight ago.
However, he has won six of his nine career races, proving his high-class ability which is justified with a mark of 123 – the highest in the field.
Into The Sky RA – 4.20
can build on his 2000 Guineas fourth and produce Jim Boyle’s biggest victory of his training career in the Jersey Stakes.
The three-year-old Starman colt only cost 25,000 guineas as a yearling, but he has earned more than double that in three race starts following brilliant performances in the Mill Reef Stakes and the first Classic of the season.
Only a length behind Words Of Truth in second last September, he reappeared to take fourth on the Rowley Mile and should improve for that run.
Where Love Lives’ RA – 2.30
hard-fought National Stakes victory has been boosted as Kevin Ryan’s star juvenile puts his unbeaten record on the line in the Norfolk Stakes.
The Cotai Glory colt came out on top on debut at Thirsk and impressively held off Adaay Of Scarlett to take Listed honours at Sandown last month.
Adaay Of Scarlett came second in the Coventry Stakes on the opening day of the meeting to boost the form so confidence will be high.
Another horse on a winning streak for new trainer Andrew Balding is
Double Rush RA – 5.00
who is targeting a hat-trick of victories when he lines up in the Wokingham Stakes.
The Rowley Mile has been a happy hunting ground since the son of Blue Point’s switch from Charlie Hills to Kingsclere, being triumphant on both appearances.
He has been put up 10lb for his latest success, but the four-year-old is clearly on an upward trajectory.
Joseph O’Brien will aim for glory in the Queen Alexandra Stakes for the third time in four years with
A Piece Of Heaven RA – 6.10
A Chester Cup winner last time out, he should appreciate the step up in trip and potentially follow in the hoofprints of Dawn Rising (2023) and Uxmal (2024).
Owners Juddmonte have an interesting prospect in the Golden Gates Stakes despite
Accredit RA – 5.35
returning from a 246-day lay-off.
Not seen since storming to victory in a Haydock novice by 11 lengths in October, the John and Thady Gosden-trained Dubawi colt will be thereabouts should he retain his juvenile form.
