    Summary: Unbeaten when racing in this shoeing configuration, MAGIC MAN (10) is taken to maintain that record and can confirm the form with MENTOR DE PLAY (9), whom he has already accounted for. The talented MAESTRO VRIE (11) has the ability to match the principals, provided he remains focused throughout. Better than his latest effort, MAGNUM DU CHOQUEL (8) is worth another chance and could easily bounce back into contention.

  29. HEUREUX DE FLEUR – Remains in goosd shape and was third in a class D at this track over 2850m on 5 June. Did win over this track and trip earlier this year and can score again
    Summary: The outcome of this contest could hinge on the behaviour of I STILL LOVING YOU (6), whose ability is not in question but whose chances will depend largely on maintaining his discipline throughout. HEUREUX DE FLEUR (18) also appeals despite a difficult draw on the outside of the front line. IDOLE JALLERIE (16) faces a similar obstacle from an equally unfavourable starting position. HALL BLACK MESS (1) is worth noting with Eric Raffin back aboard and should benefit from a much more favourable draw.

  42. JABALPUR – Not reliable but was fifth at Solvalla over 1609m on 31 May. Better over a short distance but cannot be ruled out
    Summary: Back at a venue where he has enjoyed plenty of success in the past, ISOFOU DU CHENE (10) is expected to leave his latest performance behind and make a bold bid for victory. He will not have things all his own way, however, with JALENDRA DE MALAC (3) likely to pose a significant threat now racing barefoot. HOMARD LAND (7) is entitled to come on for his recent comeback outing at Granville and should be much sharper here. JAZZMAN DEBAILLEUL (11) appears to have returned to something approaching his best form and warrants considerable respect too.

    Summary: Undefeated when racing barefoot under harness, NIKKI BEACH JISCE (10) arrives on the back of a commanding success and could be hard to beat if transferring that level of ability to the mounted discipline on debut under the saddle. NINJA DE L’ENVOL (16) and NICKEL DE BAILLE (15) re-oppose here and should again be closely matched. NASSANDRA (14) brings proven Group 2-winning form in this code following her success in the Prix Hémine and is a major contender if reproducing that effort.

    Summary: A tightly-knit contest where several profiles appeal, with NOB HILL (11) arriving off the back of a pleasing late finish effort and likely to be suited if the pace is selective. NORMANDIE NIEMEN (14) is better judged on her penultimate performance over this course, which was highly convincing, and she clearly remains of major interest. NOCIVE DU CHOQUEL (15) continues to run with consistency and reliability and again looks set to be involved at the business end.
    NEO DE JOUDES (10) saw his unbeaten record come to an end last time out against NAT KING COLE (12) but remains a sound contender in this class of event.

    Summary: A compelling rematch is on the cards between LEMON FLEURY (3) and LIBERTE DU GOUTIER (12), who finished ahead of him on 29 May. The former is expected to have come on significantly for that run and could well reverse the form under more favourable circumstances this Sunday. The highly consistent LIONHEART (14) has been carefully targeted for this big race and looks another major contender. LASKA DU LEVANT (2) brings recent winning form at a slightly lower level and looks an interesting prospect despite the rise in grade.

    Summary: This revamped Prix René Ballière looks set to revolve around IDAO DE TILLARD (12), who is worth another chance after his flop in Sweden and is particularly interesting with the four shoes removed once again for only the fifth time in his career. His main danger could be IBIKI DE HOUELLE (8), who was an impressive Group 2 winner last time at this track. HOOKER BERRY (11) commands respect with Jean-Michel Bazire back in the sulky. KEEP GOING (5) is capable of playing a major role if running up to the standard of his penultimate effort.

    Summary: Winner of the Prix de Vincennes (Gr.1) on his debut under the saddle last winter, MOUSTIK LA GOVELLE (9) was unlucky not to score in a harness race last time out. He sets a strong standard and could well wrap up a second Group 1 victory. MUNHOA VEDAQUAISE (11) comes in the race on the back of a decisive success and looks to be progressing at the right time. METEORE DE SIMM (13) could prove a danger if reproducing his best form. The unexposed MOJITO FRAISE (6) also enters calculations, especially racing barefoot for the first time, which could unlock further improvement.
