R1 CABOURG [R-H]

C1 – PRIX LES CRINS DE LA BAIE (PX MUSCARIS) – 2750m (a1m1/2) – – Mounted – EUR € 37,000

  1. JAMES OF CARLY – Has been enjoying a productive run of form over recent weeks. Was 2nd in a Class F at Le Mont St Michel over 2675m on 30 June but appears to be aimed too high this time
  2. JAZZY THOURJAN – Placed at Vincennes and Caen before coming 5th in an Enghien Class D last week. At this level though may find the going a bit tough
  3. DENIA – Picked up her 2nd monte victory when dominating a Caen Class D in mid-June. Has form at this level and must be taken seriously
  4. MACAHAN – Quality Scandinavian raider that would have finished close under harness at Vincennes 3 weeks ago had he kept his action together. Mathieu Mottier has stayed faithful and will be determined to put things right
  5. JOSELITO DU VIVIER – Has picked up the winning streak he began in 2025. Was eliminated at Vincennes 3 weeks ago, but is unbeaten going right-handed under the saddle and can keep that fact relevant
  6. HELIUM DE L’ITON – Disqualified in a Class C at Vincennes over 2850m on 19 June and has no possible chance
  7. JABLO DU CHENE – Got back in the game last week when runner-up in a Vichy Class D. Excels with his jockey and will be expected to figure prominently. Place chance
  8. HORSY ROYAL – Not disgraced when third in a Class C at Vincennes over 2850m on 19 June but under these conditions will struggle to confirm
  9. HUMOUR FESTIF – Has done nothing but improve lately, latterly good runner-up in a Class C at Laval over 2850m on 3 June, and has a decent chance of finishing in the mix once more
  10. KRACK CLEA – Has won 4 of last 6 starts, most recently tight 2nd in a Class C at Vincennes over 2850m on 26 May. Is plainly close to winning another and returning to racing clockwise may be just what the doctor ordered
Summary: The ultra-consistent KRACK CLEA (10) has won his last two right-handed starts and is expected to be in the thick of things once again. JOSELITO DU VIVIER (5), provided he keeps his rhythm this time, and JABLO DU CHENE (7), who has struck up an excellent partnership with Alan Gendrot, are likely to provide the main opposition, along with MACAHAN (4), who could make an immediate impact on his first start with Mathieu Mottier aboard.
    SELECTIONS
    KRACK CLEA (10) – JOSELITO DU VIVIER (5) – JABLO DU CHENE (7) – MACAHAN (4)
    C2 – PRIX RACE AND CARE (PRIX DES LANTANAS) – 2725m (a1m1/2) – – Harness – EUR € 27,000
  11. JOKER DREAM – Has been showing considerably more on turf lately. Has previously imposed under these conditions but chances appear limited this time around
  12. NEVADA LOBELL – Never far from losing his action but is hard to knock when focused. Is unraced for 5 months but does not make the trip for nothing and is in with a realistic shout of winning this
  13. OH CEAN – Has yet to make his mark on French soil but a repeat of his penultimate run would see him make first 5 once again
  14. KORSIKO – Wonderfully-entered here, and ideally-placed behind the car. Was most unlucky at Caen 3 weeks ago and Cedric Terry will be eager to set the record straight
  15. LUCA BAROSSO – Returns to the harness code after imposing under Mathieu Mottier at Chartres on 17 June, and can double his money if he stays in stride
  16. LUKA MODRIC – Won a brace earlier in the year but has not been as sharp since. Encouraged at Nancy last time out and, with Yoann Lebourgeois reining this time, is unlikely to disappoint
  17. BEENTHERESEENTHAT – Has 3 runs in him this term following a lengthy absence. Will be fully-fit by now and, bidding to put behind him some recent misfortune at Vincennes, is eminently capable of finishing closer this time
  18. BOTTNAS JUSTIN – Is competitively-shod for the first time following a pair of conditioners in Sweden. Sébastien Ernault in the bike for the occasion and even from the 2nd row looks a player
  19. AMERICA DREAM – Disqualified twice in last three starts, the latest a Class F at Lisieux over 2725m on 7 June, and is unlikely to generate much interest
  20. QUINTUS TOOMA – Pleasantly surprising runner-up over 2140m at Gavle on 14 April. Has not been seen out since though and even with Benjamin Rochard in the bike is unlikely to spice things up
  21. JACQUES MEARAS – Finished 6th in a Class D at Enghien over 2875m on 27 June. Goes right-handed for the first time and is not a concern
  22. KINGSTON DU DOME – Put away after winning over course and distance last October. Is still some way off that form though and will need to step up his game
  23. KNOWN FACT – Modest element making first appearance since last October and can be confidently disregarded
  24. OBSERVE’EM – Travels to France for first time after having encouraged at Bro Park in mid-June. Alexandre Abrivard gets the nod and, although not a priority, is still worth keeping an eye on
Summary: Ideally-engaged at the limit of earnings, KORSIKO (4), whose latest outing at Caen came with valid excuses, and NEVADA LOBELL (2), returning from a break, are preferred ahead of recent monté winner LUCA BAROSSO (5), who is worth close attention on his French harness debut, and BEENTHERESEENTHAT (7), who endured no luck at all last time at Vincennes. OH CEAN (3), whose penultimate run was encouraging, also merits serious consideration.
    SELECTIONS
    KORSIKO (4) – NEVADA LOBELL (2) – LUCA BAROSSO (5) – BEENTHERESEENTHAT (7)
    C3 – PRIX OUEST FRANCE (PRIX DES ANTHYLLIDES) – 2750m (a1m1/2) – Claiming – Harness – EUR € 26,000
  25. LA VERITE – Went into her April spell on a good note but has been off for 2.5 months and is going to need the race
  26. LES CHARMES – Returns to racing shod after having been eliminated in a Class F at Granville over 3125m on 24 May and is not about to create an upset
  27. LEOPOLD DU BANNEY – Disqualified last time out in a Class F at Cabourg over 2750m on 3 July, his first start for over 2 months. Four pads fitted this time but others still preferred
  28. LOUMIA CASTELETS – Showed improvement at La Capelle then imposed at Caen 3 weeks ago. Debuts at a very different Cabourg but in current conditions is easy to recommend for a spot in the mix
  29. LUTIN DU PRATEL – Has done nothing but impress over recent weeks but is being aimed too high this time
  30. LOUPIAC DE GODREL – Imposed at Chartres on 17 June but was comprehensively beaten at Enghien next time and can be ignored
  31. LADY DU CEDRE – Failed to confirm Saint-Malo success when being conditioned at Lisieux but will be barefoot this time, just as she was when triumphant here last summer, and is easy to fancy for the win
  32. LARAFALE PASMARICK – Had been on a rich vein of form until coming 6th in an Enghien Class E 2.5 weeks ago. Continues barefoot and, although not a priority, is still worth monitoring
  33. LEA GIBUS – Can prove a handful but has otherwise been in fine shape this term. Third in a Class E at Laval over 2850m on 11 June and is unlikely to let the side down. First 5
  34. LADY FAIRY – Won a pair earlier in the spring but less- performant in last 2. Will appreciate returning to a hard surface and the short rest will have done her good. Place chance
  35. LAMTARA BUISSONAY – Imposed at Salon-de-Provence prior to being eliminated at Enghien on 23 June. Will appreciate returning to racing clockwise but others still easier to support
  36. LADY DE JANEIRO – Gave a reassuringly good account when fourth in a Class D at Amiens over 2400m on 8 June. Shoes off this time but at this level will need to find more
  37. LOULOU DE L’AUNAY – Faces first target of the summer after an easy comeback run at Lisieux last week. Imposed last time here, will be barefoot for the occasion, and must be afforded respect
  38. LEONARDO – Decent dual-discipline element returning to the harness code after being eliminated at Enghien late last month. Is not devoid of ability, will race barefoot this time and, if applied, can make his presence felt
  39. LASER MAGIC – Has been knocking at the door since returning from his winter break, runner-up in a Class E at Segre over 2700m on 28 June. Benefits from a terrific entry and will be expected to contest the finish
  40. LOVELY GODIVA – Has a pair of return runs under her belt, and benefits from a wonderful entry. Would be preferred barefoot but still cannot be discounted
Summary: With the race looking wide open, LADY DU CÈDRE (7), who is particularly effective racing barefoot, LASER MAGIC (15), edging closer to a deserved success, LADY FAIRY (10), back on sand, recent winner LOUMIA CASTELETS (4), entrusted to Yoann Lebourgeois, and LÉA GIBUS (9), whose consistency is beyond reproach, all make solid claims.
    SELECTIONS
    LADY DU CEDRE (7) – LASER MAGIC (15) – LADY FAIRY (10) – LOUMIA CASTELETS (4)
    C4 – PRIX DES HELLEBORES – 2750m (a1m1/2) – Claiming – Harness – EUR € 33,000
  41. JUNON DES ROSES – Made short work of rivals in a Class G at Bernay(GalopiniÈRe) over 2800m on 28 June. Returns to racing shod but is no slouch when focused and will have her supporters
  42. JET DE BUSSET – Has pleased for the most part this term but disappointing in last 2 and represents nothing more than an outside chance
  43. JAZZ VERONE – Finished 4th in a Class F at Saint Malo over 2850m on 23 May. In considerably better company this time and chances appear limited
  44. JEWELKIM – Ran 2nd at Saint-Malo before blowing up at Lisieux early last month. Imposed last time here and must be respected
  45. JOKER GES – Successful in a Class F at Lisieux over 2725m on 2 July to make up for his late-June blip on turf. Alexandre Abrivard back in the bike and can be confident of another big run
  46. JOURNAIO DU ROI – Has tended to show more on turf recently, latterly securing an Arras Class F on 21 June, but under these conditions will have nothing to offer
  47. JACARTO DE HOUELLE – Quality individual with a pair of conditioners in him since the break. Goes well barefoot but would be preferred with 4 pads fitted
  48. I LOVE DU CHERISAY – Out of the picture in last 2 but benefits from a terrific engagement here, will be barefoot for the occasion, and cannot be discounted
  49. JOCELYNE – Kept up her consistent ways when fourth in a Class F at Lisieux over 2725m on 2 July, her first start for almost 3 months. Will have progressed for the race and even from the 2nd row will have something to contribute
  50. IQUITO PLANCHETTE – Modest of late, finishing 12th in a Class D at Vichy over 2950m on 30 June. Shoes fitted this time and can be passed over
  51. INDIC – Quality element that goes as well right-handed as left-. Eliminated on c comeback in a Class D at Enghien over 2875m on 27 June but will be reunited with Yoann Lebourgeois for the occasion and with application can contest the finish
  52. IN LOVE REGLISSE – Lost his way late last year and has picked up this term where he left off. Disregard
  53. GETEHI DU NOYER – Has failed to make any impact in 3 starts so far this year and will have few takers
  54. HELIOS DJEMA – Should not be too hastily-judged for recent Cabourg result. Is in less-exalted company this time and, given the entry, must be taken seriously
  55. JASMIN GEMA – Just missed out on the hat-trick when 2nd in an Agen Class D on 17 June. Has been at the top of his game for some time and will take all the beating
  56. INDOCILE – Has placed just once in 11 starts this year and recent Enghien run did nothing to convince
Summary: Simply superb all year, and winner of his sole start at the venue, JASMIN GEMA (15) enjoys a good entry here and will be well-backed to impose. Benjamin Rochard can expect to encounter resistance from INDIC (11) who faces his first target of the year, and HELIOS DJEMA (14) who returns to a track he appreciates. JEWELKIM (4) is 25m better off and if he runs as he did at Saint-Malo, there will be cheque in it for him. Also from the front line, recent Lisieux winner JOKER GES (5) looks competitively well in.
    SELECTIONS
    JASMIN GEMA (15) – INDIC (11) – HELIOS DJEMA (14) – JEWELKIM (4)
    C5 – PRIX SWEET FM (PRIX DES PIVOINES) – 2750m (a1m1/2) – – Harness – EUR € 29,000
  57. NATIF DE SASSY – Has come good since switching to the monte code. Is plainly in rude health but will have other priorities
  58. NOLIO DU BARBEY – Is not devoid of ability but has struggled over recent months. Reverts to a previous formula but others still preferred
  59. NEW YORKER – In the frame in all 4 starts to date, most recently finishing 3rd in a Class D at Caen over 2450m on 10 June, and makes his Cabourg bow with a decent chance of getting off the mark
  60. NIACK DU VIVIER – Imposed first time out and was then put away. Made short work of his return run when dominating a Class E at Le Mont-Saint-Michel 10 days ago and has a realistic chance of securing the hat-trick
  61. NIRVAGO DE LA COUR – Quality individual that showed improvement when third in a Class D at Caen over 2200m on 22 June. Will be fitted with pads for the first time and should have the wherewithal to give this a good go
  62. NOBEL CAMP – Twice a winner in 5 starts this spring, however latest run was not the most convincing. Will be reunited though with Benjamin Rochard who won with him at Chateaubriant, sports front pads for the first time, and must be taken seriously
  63. NABAD DU ROCHER – It took 9 races but got off the mark at Laval a fortnight ago. Is confirmed racing clockwise but in this company will have too much to do
  64. NATIVE DE PLAY – Turned a corner in May, twice placing at Caen. Will sport 4 pads this time and is not one to be underestimated. Chance
  65. NUMBER ONE GAGOU – Winner of both starts to date. Has not been seen out since late-March but is clearly in competition-mode and should not be far from the action
  66. NELSON DU RIB – Convincing 3rd in a Lisieux Class C early last month on his return to racing right-handed. Is not a priority but cannot be ruled out either
  67. NIWAY – Successful in a Class D at Castillonnes over 2450m on 26 April. Benefits from a terrific entry on the front row but is taking on too much this time
  68. NOBLE DE SOURCE – Serious future prospect that made short work of his right-handed debut, but is unraced for over 3 months and will be eased back into the game
  69. NINA HAGEN D’OR – Disqualified last time out in a Class B at Enghien over 2875m on 13 June after having run 2nd in a Vincennes Class C the previous month. Has been freshly-reconfigured but against the boys will struggle to make her mark
  70. NAMARETTI DEVOL – Handy dual-discipline colt that has won here under harness but has not been seen out since March and will be shod for the occasion
  71. NARCO DU CHATELET – Quality colt that was sent for a spell after coming 8th in a Class A at Vincennes over 2700m on 28 April. Will be shod for comeback, and starts on the back row, but will have work behind him and can expect a certain support
  72. NEUILLY DE PLAY – Is back in business since returning to the ridden discipline in mid-May. Is here for reasons of conditioning though and can be passed over
Summary: Impressive winner of his first two starts, NIACK DU VIVIER (4) has the confidence of Yoann Lebourgeois and can complete the hat-trick. He will, however, need to be wary of NEW YORKER (3), who could open his account with front shoes fitted for the first time, a padded NATIVE DE PLAY (8), whose consistent efforts deserve to be rewarded, NIRVAGO DE LA COUR (5), who is on the upgrade, and NOBEL CAMP (6), reunited with Benjamin Rochard.
    SELECTIONS
NIACK DU VIVIER (4) – NEW YORKER (3) – NATIVE DE PLAY (8) – NIRVAGO DE LA COUR (5)
    C6 – PRIX ASSOCIATION PASSERELLE – 2050m (a1m1/4) – – Harness – EUR € 22,000
  73. MAVINA DES ETANGS – Ended last season on a high note but has comprehensively failed to deliver this term and can be written off
  74. MAMAMIA DES ARRIS – Has looked a very different horse this year, and even better over recent weeks, twice placing at Caen, and will be expected to bring the fight to MINYA KONKA (7)
  75. MELODISYVA – Has taken her game up a notch since imposing at Gournay-en-Bray in early-May. Goes barefoot with Gabriele Gelormini in the bike this time and, with stride in check, can play a prominent role
  76. MASCOTT DU CHOQUEL – Made amends for Laval elimination when third in a Class E at Vichy over 2150m on 18 June. Is reunited with Benjamin Rochard and can make first 5 is she keeps her action together
  77. MANILLE D’ERABLE – Goes barefoot for the first time following a pair of fresheners. David Thomain in the bike for her first target of the year and must be considered a contender
  78. MA JOLIE PRINCESS – Got the year off to a cracking start but out of the picture in last 2. Sports a fresh configuration though and the engagement of Alexis Collette will only work in her favour
  79. MINYA KONKA – Was fourth in a Class E at Enghien over 2875m on 25 June, to make up for her Lisieux elimination. Has clearly shown improvement this year and it is just a question of time before she gets that maiden monkey off her back. Claim
  80. MAYA DU POMMEAU – Is as spirited as they come but can trot when applied. Is not ideally-drawn here but will be barefoot with her new trainer in the bike and is not to be underestimated
  81. MALICIA DU ROCHER – Imposed over track and trip last October but has been rather disappointing since and is unlikely to spring any surprises
  82. MOON SAINT ANDRE – Has done nothing to disappoint since starting to race competitively-shod. Is back racing clockwise and even though in better company this time, still looks capable of upsetting the apple-cart
  83. MICHIKO – Showed ability in 2025 but has been out of sorts so far this season and can be ruled out
  84. MAGIC ALOUETTE – Reassuring 2nd in a Class F at Caen over 2200m on 30 May. Takes on a better bunch this time and will have too much to do
  85. MAM’ZELLEPAZENAISE – Useful sort that was put away after flopping at Enghien in March. Is competitively-shod for comeback but still not an obvious choice
  86. MOOVIESTAR SOMOLLI – Respectable trotter with form at the venue but is still in conditioning-mode following her layoff and best to wait
Summary: Although MINYA KONKA (7) has to contend with a wide draw behind the car, she is ideally-entered and reunites with Alexandre Abrivard with high hopes. MAMAMIA DES ARRIS (2), who looks close to opening her account, and MELODISYVA (3), in excellent form, are also capable of fighting for the leading places, along with MANILLE D’ERABLE (5), who races barefoot for the first time.
    SELECTIONS
    MINYA KONKA (7) – MAMAMIA DES ARRIS (2) – MELODISYVA (3) – MANILLE D’ERABLE (5)
    C7 – PRIX GIRAFOU (PRIX DES LEUCANTHEMES) – 2750m (a1m1/2) – Claiming – Harness – EUR € 22,000
  87. NASH DE VANDEL – Got straight down to business on comeback when successful in a Class F at Graignes over 2700m on 1 May. Has not been seen out since though and best to hold off
  88. NOTRE DEDE – Confirmed good May debut with victory at Le Neubourg on 13 June. Takes on a better lot here but can still compete for a first-five payout
  89. NICKEL DU GOUTIER – Lost his maiden status when successful in a Reims Class F early last month, but struggled at Caen next time and others preferred
  90. NIGER DU VIVIER – Eliminated on debut in early-March before opening his account at Caen 8 days later. Has not been seen since but sports 4 pads for the first time and will be no pushover
  91. NOUGAROU FAB – Somewhat made up for Vichy blip when 4th in a Class D at Saint-Galmier late last month, but in this category will struggle to make his presence felt
  92. NORMAN LE BEAU – Is proven over course and distance but was not the most convincing on re-entry and has more to find
  93. NEIL DE BANVILLE – Most impressive winner at Reims in April a month before failing to confirm. Comes here fresh and can wrap this up if he takes to Cabourg conditions
  94. NO SECRET – Disqualified in a Class E over 2050m here on 3 July after having produced a pair of good performances at Caen and Cholet, but can more than make amends if he gets off on the right foot
  95. NAMOUR DE MONTFORT – Made good on his promise when dominating a Reims Class F 3 weeks ago and is thoroughly capable of repeating
  96. NAPOLEON – Not the most dependable horse here but is not devoid of ability. Lost his action at Enghien recently but returns to racing clockwise which should make all the difference. First 5
  97. NEAL DE TROUVILLE – Honest colt but not the most generous. Finished 5th in a Class D at Saint-Galmier over 2650m on 28 June and will need to find more
  98. NOBEL DANCER – Yet to get off the mark but has demonstrated decent consistency. 2nd at Le Mont-Saint-Michel 10 days ago, however a repeat seems unlikely
  99. NOVI DAN – Has done nothing but improve since his March debut, most recently winning a Gournay-en-Bray Class G in early-May. Has not been seen since but is not here to make up the numbers
  100. NIGME DU DOUAROU – Successful in a Class E at Cherbourg over 2550m on 14 June, to lose his maiden tag. Finds himself in better company here but should nevertheless hold his own
Summary: NEIL DE BANVILLE (7) has the ability to secure a race of this nature if he keeps his mind on the job, while the well-bred NAMOUR DE MONTFORT (9), an impressive winner at Reims, NO SECRET (8), who is worth another chance, and the progressive NIGER DU VIVIER (4), all look capable of playing leading roles.
    SELECTIONS
NEIL DE BANVILLE (7) – NAMOUR DE MONTFORT (9) – NO SECRET (8) – NIGER DU VIVIER (4)
    C8 – PRIX ASTRAGALES – 2750m (a1m1/2) – Claiming – Mounted – EUR € 23,000
  101. LADY MYSTIC – Has ample ability but not the easiest to handle. Goes barefoot for return to the monte code and will be good enough to win a race of this nature provided Alexandre Abrivard keeps her focused
  102. LATINO BOY – Produced a 57-1 surprise when 3rd in a Laval Class E a fortnight ago, however confirmation is not anticipated
  103. LUTHER – Modest sort that has been a complete write-off in 2026 and is not about to change his ways
  104. LOOPING SOLEDAD – Quality trotter with excellent monte references but is shod this time and best to keep one’s powder dry
  105. LOU DU DERBY – Has turned a corner over recent weeks, latterly finishing 2nd in a Class F at Vichy over 2950m on 15 June. At this level though, she will have her work cut out
  106. L’AMIRAL DU SAPTEL – Never far from losing his action, and has yet to establish his monte credentials, but has been reconfigured and is worth keeping an eye on
  107. LOVE DE BELLOUET – Showed considerable ability under the saddle over the winter, winning at both Angers and over course and distance. Has been spirited under harness lately and a return to the discipline may do just the trick. First 5
  108. LAGOS DE VAL – It took some time but got off the mark in superb fashion at Vire on 18 May. Was kept on the boil under harness 10 days ago and with Alexis Collette back in the saddle, can repeat
  109. LOS PACOS – Barring the occasional elimination is very hard to fault under the saddle. Reassuring 2nd in a Caen Class E 3 weeks ago and, with application, can go far. Chance
  110. LORD OF WIND – Has ample ability and is confirmed under the saddle. Has just the one race under his belt since the spell, but will be barefoot for the occasion, although others are still easier to like
  111. LYA DU VIVIER – Has limited monte experience but has shown potential. Ran 3rd in a harness Class F at Caen over 2450m on 15 June and will be no easy touch if form transitions
  112. LAGON D’ORIENT – Imposed on return at Amiens in May before coming 5th in a Lisieux Class E on 7 June. Is not a priority but still has the capability of running into the money
  113. LA STORIA DE LOU – Has done nothing of note in either code so far this year, most recently eliminated in a Class E at Laval over 2850m on 25 June, and can be passed over
  114. LUTIN DE LA FYE – Pleasantly surprised when 2nd 3 weeks ago under harness at Arras on just 2nd start back, but a repeat seems most improbable
  115. LILOU TREMBLADAISE – Returns to the monte code following a modest stint in the other discipline. Enjoys a good entry here and with Adrien Lamy back in the saddle, will be afforded every chance
Summary: A new recruit to Laurent-Claude Abrivard’s yard, LADY MYSTIC (1) makes her stable debut under the saddle, making her a very interesting proposition. LAGOS DE VAL (8), who has recently sharpened up his fitness under harness, LOS PACOS (9), for whom it is likely to be all or nothing once again, and LYA DU VIVIER (11), back in the monte discipline, also warrant close consideration. LILOU TREMBLADAISE (15) is competitively well in here and is another to note.

C1 – PRIX DE BONNEUIL-EN-VALOIS – 2400m (a1m1/2) – TURF – Class 3 Claiming – Flat – EUR € 18,200

  1. ARNAY LE DUC – Not beaten far when 4tjh in a Claimer over 2000m at Saint-Cloud on 22 May. He has now had three runs after his layoff and has found an ideal field to notch up another win
  2. GOLDEN BLUSH – Scored a fighting victory over 2600m at Marseille Borely on 12 June. Has a great record with Thomas Trullier with three wins from four rides.
  3. MONSIEUR SHELBY – Finished 2nd in a Conditions race over 2400m at La-Roche-Posay on 14 June. He was beaten 10 lengths in that race but could place
  4. WILLY WINNER – A 0.75-length second in a Claimer over 2400m at ParisLongchamp on 11 June. That was his first run with jockey Hugo Boutin up and could well go one better this time
  5. OLERON – A moderate 6th in a Conditions race over 3100m at Saint-Cloud on 28 June. Will appreciate both the drop in distance and class in her first run in a Claimer
  6. ORLHENA – Performed poorly when 13th in a Handicap over 2300m at at Angers on 8 June. Was 2nd in a Handicap over this course and distance a race earlier but will find life a lot tougher on this occasion
  7. COMBERMERE – A decent 5th in a Claimer over 400m at ParisLongchamp on 11 June. Looks held by WILLY WINNER (4) on that run
  8. LA BOBRIDE – Ran a reasonable 5th in a Claimer over 2400m at Dieppe on 23 June. He could find the competition a lot stronger this time
Summary: ARNAY LE DUC (1) has been taking on a lot stronger and now seems to have found the right race to get back to winning ways. However, GOLDEN BLUSH (2) could make him work hard for victory as she has been in good form and has an excellent rapport with her jockey. WILLY WINNER (4) ran on strongly last time to finish a decent second and will be looking to improve on that run while OLERON (5) will have Cristian Demuro up and should be competitive.
    SELECTIONS
    ARNAY LE DUC (1) – GOLDEN BLUSH (2) – WILLY WINNER (4) – OLERON (5)
    C2 – PRIX DE L’AVESNOIS – 1400m (a7f) – TURF – – Flat – EUR € 27,400
  9. ZAKKAN – Finished 3rd in a Conditions race over this course and distance on 20 June. That was a decent debut effort and he will improve for the experience
  10. BOULDER – A well-beaten 4th in a Conditions race over 1400m at Saint-Cloud on 12 June. Looks unlikely to get the better of these rivals
  11. LE TEXAN – A moderate 4th in a Conditions race over 1200m at Saint-Cloud on 29 May. He was beaten 5.5 lengths in that debut run and will need to up his game
  12. PRINCE AZUR – Dead-heated for 3rd in a Conditions race over 1400m at Saint-Cloud on 2 June. The runner who shared third place has gone on to finish 2nd so this colt should improve on that debut performance
  13. ZUCHETTO – Finished 4th in a Conditions race over 1200m at Chantilly on 19 June. It was an improvement on his debut effort but will still need to do more
  14. BIG MONEY MAN – Finished 9th in a Conditions race over 1200m at Chantilly on 189 June. Jockey Maxime Guyon reported that his inexperience on debut left him caught for speed so he will come on for the run
  15. STORM RUN – A close 2nd in a Conditions race 1400m at Saint-Cloud on 12 June. The winner of that race went on to place in a Listed race so the form looks decent
  16. CODREA – Finished 4th in a Conditions race over this course and distance on 20 June. Was only 1.5 lengths behind ZAKKAN (1) so he could be a threat

Summary: ZAKKAN (1) ran well enough on debut to indicate there was a lot more to come from him and a first win should not be far off. PRINCE AZUR (4) finished third in a decent field and the form of that race has been franked. CODREA (8) was not far behind the selection on debut and could have a say in the finish. STORM RUN (7) is another who made a promising debut and that form line also looks decent.

Summary: MLLE ANDROMAQUE (11) is well related and is sure to attract a lot of attention on her debut effort. SHE’S BOX OFFICE (3) has won two successive Claimers, the last one by seven lengths, and looks ready to face a field of this nature. Going over further this time looks sure to get more out of Graffard-trained CHECKERED FLAG (4). Unraced ALFIYA (10) is related to leading mare Occupandiste and looks an interesting prospect.

  36. BRAIDA – A 2.5-length winner of a Maiden over 1600m at La-Teste on 11 June. That was her first run back from an almost 7-month break and she could notch up a quick double.

  38. FLOWER CELEBRATION – A 1.25-length winner of a Handicap over 1400m at ParisLongchamp on 11 June. Unlikely to trouble the more fancied runners
Summary: BRAIDA (8) came back from a break to score a very easy win last time and although the competition is stronger, she looks to have matured nicely after the layoff. 75. SOMMERKONIG – He has been placed on his last two runs, 4th on the latter over 3400m at this track in a Class 4 hurdle on June 18. Sets the standard
  76. ONE LOVE DIAMOND – Ran with promise to be 2nd on debut over 3000m in a hurdle at Jallais on June 13. Can make progress and is hard to dismiss
  77. NOE DU SEUIL – Showed promise to be 2nd on his only run over 2400m at Lyon Parilly on the flat on June 21. From a leading trainer that will have this gelding well-schooled for his hurdles bow.
  78. CELESTIN NONANTAIS – Gelding by Magic Dream, the dam never ran in France. Stable runners warrant respect on debut and he is one to watch closely in the betting for clues
  79. NIGHT AGENT – Gelding on debut by Bande, the dam won 3 races over jumps. From a stable that does well with newcomers. One to consider if the betting vibes are positive
  80. SAIL ROCK – Finished 9th on the most recent run over 3400m at Clairefontaine on June 24 over hurdles. Others more persuasive from a win point of view
Summary: SOMMERKONIG (1) looks capable of shedding his maiden tag on his third hurdles start of the year. Having already shown an aptitude for this track, he is taken to account for NOE DU SEUIL (3), who shaped with promise when runner-up on the Flat late last month and is expected to be well prepared for his hurdles debut. ONE LOVE DIAMOND (2) finished a respectable second on debut at Jallais in June and is entitled to improve with that experience. He heads the remainder.
