    Summary: A worthy representative of the Aga Khan Studs–Graffard–Barzalona combination, the well-bred BEHRAYNA (1) has been entered in the Group 1 Prix de Diane, and will be closely watched in this newcomers’ contest. Also holding Classic entries, PLACE DE L’OPERA (2) looks another serious contender for victory. Partnered by Christophe Soumillon, DAYTONINE (5) will attempt to shine in the colours of Tony Parker. The second string from the André Fabre’s stable, SEAYA (8), is another who could have a say in the outcome.

  23. LANAKEN – Successful in a class 1 Conditions race at Bordeaux-Le Bouscat over 1400m on 25 October. Returns from a break and should need this run
  24. TEN HORNS – Very consistent and was runner-up in a class 1 Conditions race at Cagnes-sur-Mer over 1500m on 22 February. Might play a minor role

  28. JUSEARTH FAL – Holding form and finished fourth in a class 1 Conditions race at Chantilly over 1300m on 8 March. Can earn some money
  29. MARCUS AURELIUS – A winner in a class 3 Conditions race at Saint-Cloud over 1400m on 15 March. First time in a handicap and might well follow up
  30. GLANWORTH – Has improved of late and was third in a class 2 Conditions race at Fontainebleau over 1100m on 13 March. Needs to do a bit more to score
  31. SCANDALO – Unreliable and finished 9th in a class 1 Conditions race at Chantilly over 1300m on 8 March. Did better in a handicap before that and could be the surprise package of the race
  32. LAITH – Showed some improvement when runner-up in a class 3 Conditions race at Saint-Cloud over 1400m on 15 March. Might play a minor role
  33. WIT – Did not show his best when 6th in a handicap at Chantilly over 1400m on 26 March. Capable of doing better and is not out of it
  34. CHALDERO – Battling to find best form and was unplaced in a class 1 Conditions race at La Testa-du-Buch over 1400m on 21 March. Needs major improvement to win
  35. SCHUMAN – Not disgraced when fourth in a handicap at Saint-Cloud over 1400m on 5 March. Might need to do a bit more to beat these rivals
  36. PRINCE AUBOIS – Not reliable but was third in a class 3 Conditions race at Saint-Cloud over 1400m on 15 March. Can contest the finish
  37. HALF HALF – In good shape and was runner-up in a handicap at Saint-Cloud over 1400m on 5 March. Should be in the mix of things once again
    Summary: SKYLIGHT BROCHARD (8) made his presence felt earlier in the year when matching strides with the smart No Lunch. He’s already placed on this track and in this grade, and he could well be the one to beat. Francis-Henri Graffard looks to have a very strong hand with PURPLE LION (5), an impressive winner on his comeback, and WIT (16), who would likely have gone very close had he found a clear passage on March 26. BELLANO (2) shaped well on his return at Saint-Cloud and has clearly been targeted at this race. If he can overcome a wide draw, he should be involved at the business end, along with PRINCE AUBOIS (19), runner-up in the Qatar Grand Handicap des Flyers last October.

  42. ZARAKI – An impressive winner on debut in a Conditions race at this track over 1600m on 31 August. Returns from a break but can double up
  43. ZAMBEZI – Returned from a break and was runner-up in a Conditions race at Saint-Cloud over 1600m on 15 March. Fit and should contest the finish
    Summary: A grandson of Plumania, ZARAKI (5) left a very taking impression over this course on his debut last summer and has the means to make a big impact on his return in this Group 3. EBIYAR (1) showed a good attitude when narrowly getting the better of a Wertheimer runner on his sole start last autumn and should have more to offer. ZAMBEZI (6) can rely on his race fitness and experience to get involved in the finish, while GUSTO (2) will be looking to benefit from the good form of the Brandt stable.

  47. VATICANA – Two recent wins, the latter over 1600m at Saint-Cloud in a Listed race on March 15th. Hat trick of wins can be achieved
  48. RHIYANNA – Two nice wins of late, the latter over 1600m at Deauville in a Group 3 race on October 20th. Improved last year and will be ready to go on her return to action
  49. MAINTAIN – Two nice efforts last year, a win on debut at this track over 1800m in October and a 3rd in a Class 2 race at Chantilly over 1600m on November 8th. In the mix
  50. PROXIMA DU CENTAUR – Got off the mark on her third start over 1900m in a maiden race at Deauville on November 25th last time out by over 5 lengths. Outside place chance
  51. ZARAXIA – Unbeaten in two runs, the latest success over 1700m in a Listed race at Marseille Borely on October 18th. Improving and can have a say in the finish
  52. LETHAL BEAUTY – Unplaced last time, 2nd before that over 1900m at Chantilly in a Class 2 race on January 31st. Needs a few to misfire
  53. ZLATA – Won well on debut at Chantilly on September 15th in a Class 2 race in which several winners have come from that race. Leading contender
    Summary: ZLATA (10) only won narrowly on her sole start in a Class 2 race at Chantilly, but several winners have evolved from that race and she is the tentative selection on her first try in Pattern company. Her main danger could be RHIYANNA (5), who won a Group 3 race when last seen in late October and should be fit for her return to action. VATICANA (4) is improving and scored at Saint-Cloud in a Listed event in mid-March when last seen and should not be overlooked. ZAYIDA (1) heads the remainder.

  55. CUALIFICAR – Unplaced last time in the Prix De L’arc De Triomphe (Gr.1) when not showing his best form, he won previously in the Prix Niel (Gr.2) at this track over 2400m on September 7th. Capable if fit from an absence
  56. FIRST LOOK – Fair 3rd last time behind BRIGHT PICTURE (7) in a Group 3 race over 2000m at Saint-Cloud on March 15th, Group 2 success in the Prix Dollar over 1950m on October 4th last year. Hard to ignore
  57. AZIMPOUR – Ran well to be 2nd over 2000m in a Group 3 race at Saint-Cloud behind BRIGHT PICTURE (7) on March 15th and won before that in a Listed race at Chantilly on October 27th over 2000m. Can improve fitness wise from his last start and play a lead role
  58. LEFFARD – Two unplaced runs since a win in the Grand Prix De Paris (Gr.1) over 2400m at this track on July 13th. Class act on his day and warrants respect
  59. BEST SECRET – Two wins of late, the latter over 2400m in a Listed race at Saint-Cloud on September 12th with a game success. Up in class and has work to do
  60. BRIGHT PICTURE – Back to his best form when scoring in a Group 3 race over 2000m at Saint-Cloud on March 15th by almost a length. Group 2 winner last year over 2000m at Saint-Cloud in June. Fit and sure to be involved
  61. ORACLE – Four decent efforts last year, 3rd on the latter over 1900m on November 6th in a Class 1 race at Deauville on the PSF. Big jump up in class and others rate higher
    Summary: AZIMPOUR (4) will step forward from his pleasing return run at Saint-Cloud in a Group 3 race in mid-March when he was second behind BRIGHT PICTURE (7). He can reverse placings and get the better of his old rival who looks like the main threat, with a fitness edge on some class rivals. LEFFARD (5) won the Grand Prix De Paris (Gr.1) over 2400m at this track on July 13th and was not disgraced on his latest two starts and is worth close attention. FIRST LOOK (3) is another to pay attention to after a recent third behind BRIGHT PICTURE (7) last month.

  65. MAHIYA – Four placed runs, 3rd on the most recent over 2000m in a Listed race at Saint-Cloud on November 9th. Warrants respect each-way
  66. TAJLINA – Solid performer who was a good 2nd on April 18th, 2025 in a Group 3 race at Saint-Cloud when last seen. She will be well trained for her return form almost a year off
  67. LEMSAIRBAT – Fair 2nd last time over 2000m in a Listed race at Naas (IRE) on March 22nd when last appearing. Place chance at best
  68. JONES – Four placed runs, 4th on the latter over 2000m in a Group 2 race at this track on May 11th. Can improve from this run after a layoff
  69. MISS OF CHANGE – Four unplaced runs this year, the latter over 1900m at Meydan (UAE) on March 6th. Hardly inspiring recent form
  70. MQSE DES NYMPHES – Two unplaced runs in Pattern races of late, a win before that in a maiden race at Deauville on August 28th over 2000m. Merits consideration
  71. SIOUX LIFE – Won on her last start over 2000m at Milan (ITA) in a conditions race On March 18th and Group placed in Italy before that. Ought to be thereabouts on French debut
  72. SAXON GIRL – Three unplaced runs of late, the latter when 5th in a Group 3 race at Saint-Cloud on October 26th over 2100m. Capable of making the frame
  73. WE’LL DEFEND – Won on debut in March last year over 1900m and followed up with a 3rd in a Class 3 race at Chantilly on March 16th this year. She will be sharper for her recent run and can be competitive
    Summary: TAJLINA (5) has been off the track since a second in a Group 3 race at Saint-Cloud in April 2025. She returns after that lengthy absence and should be fit to go. She is given marginal preference over WE’LL DEFEND (12) who won on debut in March 2025, and was a pleasing third on her latest run in mid-March this year, and will be sharper for that run. INDALIMOS (2) was not up to Group 1 last time, but won a Group 3 in August before that and can be involved. SIOUX LIFE (10) is another worth considering.

    Summary: ZAKOSHA (3) won gamely by a length in a Class 3 race at Chantilly on the PSF in late March when last seen. She is capable of following up back on turf today. GOLDEN BROWN (12) has a good racing weight and could be the one that gives the selection the most to think about after two wins of late. PAINTELLO (9) was a decnt second two runs back in a Class 3 handicap over 1400m at this track and is one to look at each-way. IPSO FACTO (14) makes up the shortlist.

  10. GEEKER – Unraced gelding by Telecaster, the dam won 5 races over jumps including a Grade 3 chase. Nice profile and from a respected trainer that will have this gelding well prepared
  11. MIKO DE BEAUCHENE – Unplaced last time over fences when falling, 3rd before that over 3500m at Machecoul in a Class 5 hurdle on February 10th. Ought to be thereabouts
  12. MONCHOEUR DEBELAIR – Unplaced in a Group 3 AQ flat race at Nantes last time in November, two wins before that, the latter over 2400m at La-Roche-Sur-Yon on September 28th. In the mix on hurdling bow
  13. YES PLEASE – Nice debut when 6th at Compiegne over 3400m in a Class 4 hurdle on March 23rd. Capable of improving and can feature
  14. MERISIER ROUGE – Finished 5th on his only start over 2500m at Argentan in a conditions race on June 26th. Hurdling bow and is best watched for now
  15. MISS CLOVIS – Failed to finish on the only run over hurdles at Fontainebleau over 3550m on March 9th and three unplaced runs on the flat before that. Look for an alternative
    Summary: YES PLEASE (13) ran well to be sixth on debut at Compiegne in a Class 4 hurdle in late March and will step forward from that run and holds strong claims of scoring. The main threat could be the unraced GEEKER (10), who has a choice pedigree and is out of a smart mare that won five races including a Grade 3 chase. MEKNES (9) is also making his debut and is one to watch closely in the betting for any support. HURRICANE VERNES (1) is also worth a mention.

  25. KRAK D’AZUR – Disqualified in four of his last six starts, including last time out at Vincennes on 20 March. Hard to trust and is best watched for now
  26. KELVALSE CASTELETS – Has major disqualification issues and was disqualified last time out at Vincennes on 2 February. Others are much preferred
  27. KAISER DES GRANGES – Unreliable and finished 6th in a Class D at Rouen-Mauquenchy over 2850m on 16 March. Needs to do a bit more to score
  28. KAMOUR – Unbeaten in two starts this year, the latest in a Class F at Cagnes-sur-Mer over 2925m on 7 March. Remains barefoot and can complete the hat-trick
    Summary: KAMOUR (16) has won both starts this year but can expect a tougher challenge from these rivals. He is capable of completing the hat-trick. KAISER BEGONIA (9) is unreliable and has struggled of late but does have claims in this race. The same could also be said of KIROYAL DU VINOIS (8), and both can be dangers from the first row. KA DEUX TONIQUE (6) returns from a break but is one of many others capable of scoring.

  33. JENNY JO – Has improved of late and was runner-up in a Class H mounted race at Elbeuf over 2750m on 29 March. Can go one better
  34. JOLI ALEZAN – In good form and finished 4th in a Class G mounted race at Pontchâteau over 2800m on 6 March. Can get involved with the finish once again

  38. JASMIN PHIL – Battling to find best form and finished 10th in a Class E at Maure-de-Bretagne over 2850m on 24 March. Fitter this time but others make more appeal
    Summary: Another open-looking race. JENNY JO (5) has shown improvement of late and gets a narrow vote for a winning turn. JABIOLE BELLEMARE (4) bounced back with a win under the saddle at Graignes and will be competitive once again. JIL (9) is very hard to trust but would not be a surprise winner in a race of this nature. JOLI ALEZAN (6) remains in good shape and looks likely to fight out the finish yet again.

  44. MARQUIS DE MALAC – Returned from a break and was runner-up in a Class F at this track over 2800m on 15 March. Has claims in this line-up
  45. MAN OF WOOD – Successful in a Class F over this track and trip on 15 March. Improving and keeps that shoeing. Can follow up
  46. MAGE DE L’ITON – Victorious in a Class F at Elbeuf over 2750 on 29 March, Has improved of late and is capable of doubling up
  47. MIROS – Not reliable and finished 5th in a Class F at Maure-de-Bretagne over 2850m on 24 March. Might play a minor role at very best
    Summary: A very competitive race. MAN OF WOOD (7) beat MARQUIS DE MALAC (6) previously, and there is reason to believe they can fight it out again, likely in the same order. MAN OF WOOD (7) is improving and keeps the same shoeing as that day. MARQUIS DE MALAC (6) should strip fitter this time and will be a real threat. MARIO DU VIEUXCOUR (4) faulted last time out but will be fitter and is not out of it. MYSTIC DE BLARY (2) has ability and could challenge for top honours returning from a break.

MUSE DE L’AVRE (5) looked solid with her wins last year and will be a danger if fit enough. MA BRISE TIME (12) is consistent and can get involved in the finish again. MA PIECE D’OR (7) was a barefoot winner last time out and is another to consider.

    Summary: An interesting race.It is easy to see why the newcomers can be expected to fight out the finish.Naya Reina(1) showed promise in her qualifying run and could score first time of asking.Nirvana Piya(2) qualified well at Laval and is a lively danger.Neho Cinq(8) is progressing and could be the best of those that have raced before.Natcho Up Star(12) is fit and experienced in this game,so is clearly not out of it.

    Summary: A very tricky lucky last race to close the card. Justine du Mesnil(2) is a model of consistency and ran a solid race at Laval just last week; she looks ready to go one better this time.Katniss Mormoulin(4) competes barefoot,and that could spark noticeable improvement—she shapes as a real danger.Ikko Josselyn(7) likely needed the comeback run and,now racing barefoot,should be much sharper and ready to feature.Just a Winner(10) remains unshod and has the ability to get into the frame.
