R1 VINCENNES [L-H]
C1 – PRIX DE VILLENEUVE-SUR-LOT – 2850m (a2m) – Class D Race – Harness – EUR € 40,000
- ORANGE CRUSH – Debuts at Vincennes following back-to-back wins at home in Wolvega, the latest a comfortable mile success last month. With the champion driver booked, a hat-trick remains well within reach
- OVER THE LIGHT AS – Sanctioned over 2840m in Mons 3.5 weeks ago. Disappointing for the most part this year and can be passed over
- FALSTAFF FONT – Won 2 in a row before coming 4th of 7 finishers in a valuable event over 1640m in Gothenburg early last month. Gabi Gelormini in the bike this time and will be expected to challenge for a place in the picture
- BLACK HEUVELLAND – Won a brace in Hamburg before running 4th of 8 over 2600m in Victoria Park 3 weeks ago. Takes on a better lot here but is still worth monitoring
- READY HILL – Well-regarded German gelding making Vincennes bow on a 3-timer. 4th in last year’s 3yo German Criterium and warrants considerable respect
- LASCAR PILE – 5th of 9 behind LITTERAIRE (10) in a 2700m Class D here 3 weeks ago and quite simply has too much ground to make up
- FONZIE MABEL – 2nd of 6 in a 2060m amateurs event in Turin on 11 May. Goes barefoot as he did here in January but still has more to find
- LASER MAGIC – Made it 3 on the trot when easily winning a 2950m Vichy Class E 3 weeks ago. Has never delivered racing left-handed but sports a fresh configuration and in current condition is hard to ignore
- LOMBARDO DE LOU – Lost his action in a 2700m Class D here on 2 May. Has bags of ability though, races barefoot for the occasion, and will not be far from the action if he gets off on the right foot
- LITTERAIRE – Sanctioned when preparing for this in a 3000m Nantes Class D last Monday. Is quite clearly in rude health though and will be expected to take all the beating
Summary: Nicely-engaged close to the limit of earnings, and barefoot following his Nantes prep, LITTERAIRE (10) looks the pick of the field, although Julien Dubois will be minded to keep an eye on serious Dutch type ORANGE CRUSH (1) who receives an Eric Raffin drive for his hat-trick bid, and German raider READY HILL (5) who is similarly on a 3-timer, but with Benjamin Rochard reining. Second of Michel Rothengatter’s runners, FALSTAFF FONT (3) has won 3 of 4 when barefoot and looks significantly more competitive than he did here earlier in the year.

C2 – PRIX D’ARPAJON – 2175m (a1m1/4) – Class D Race – Harness – EUR € 46,000 - JOYCE DREAM – 6th of 13 in a 2450m Caen Class E a week ago and with front shoes back on will struggle to make her presence felt
- JEALOUS GIRL – Encouraged at Le Croise-Laroche before running 8th of 12 in a 2875m Enghien Class D 2 weeks ago and is not about to spring any surprises
- JAPONICA – Back under harness after running 4th of 11 in a 2950m Vichy monte Class E on 11 May. Is as good in one code as the other, races barefoot for the occasion, and debuts over the distance with a respectable chance of making first 5
- JUMBY BAY – Returns to racing barefoot after running 3rd of 11 to JOY DU CARNOIS (12) in a 2950m Le Mans Class D on 22 May. Unlikely to get her nose in front but still warrants respect
- JADE DE NAVARY – Returns to the capital after coming 2nd of 15 in a 2800m amateurs Class F at Le Croise-Laroche 2.5 weeks ago. Placed in similar company here early last month, races unshod-behind this time, and will have her supporters
- JUANA DE SEY – Won a Maure Class F on 11 May before coming 4th of 12, a place behind INDULGENTE (7), in a 2200m Caen Class D 10 days ago. Has no Vincennes references though and cannot be considered a priority
- INDULGENTE – Made up for Alencon sanction when 3rd of 12 in a 2200m Caen Class D 10 days ago. Mathieu Mottier in the wagon this time but a repeat still seems unlikely
- JULIE DU CLOS – Bizarrely lacklustre 8th of 11 to JOY DU CARNOIS (12) in a 2950m Le Mans Class D on 22 May. Races barefoot this time, with Guillaume Martin reining, and with application can pleasantly surprise
- JASMINE DE JYR – In the frame in 3 of last 4, latterly 2nd of 11 to JOY DU CARNOIS (12) in a 2950m Le Mans Class D on 22 May, and should again figure prominently
- JAMAICA DE LOU – Unable to confirm Laval success when sanctioned in a 2800m Cholet Class E on 13 May. Should not be too hastily-judged and, already twice a winner here, could make a big splash
- JOUVENCE SECRETE – Like a horse reborn since starting to race with hind shoes off, latterly winning a 2100m amateurs Class G here 3.5 weeks ago, and steps back up in category with a good hand to play
- JOY DU CARNOIS – Classy character that stormed up in a 2950m Class D at Le Mans on 22 May and, barefoot again, is in with a reasonable shout of repeating
- JOYCE DES GRANGES – Placed at Strasbourg but uninspiring 9th of 12, a place behind JEALOUS GIRL (2), in a 2875m Enghien Class D 2 weeks ago, and will need to find more
Summary: A fine servant when focused, JOY DU CARNOIS (12) won impressively at Le Mans late last month and even though unproven at Vincennes, she is still easy to like for the win. JAMAICA DE LOU (10) lost her action last time out but has otherwise been in cracking form and looks the main threat. Firing on all cylinders for the past 3 months, JOUVENCE SECRETE (11) faces a stiffer test over the main track but has yet to disappoint in the day’s configuration and will be expected to play an active role. JASMINE DE JYR (9) has been knocking at the door and is unlikely to be far off the mark.

C3 – PRIX DU MANS – 2100m (a1m1/4) – Class E Race – Harness – EUR € 41,000 - KIARA BLUE – Tenacious mare making first start since running 2nd of 12 in a 2850m Laval Class E on 30 April. Has 2 runs under her belt and with form maintained can impose this time
- KANTARELLINA CHIC – Sprang a 119/1 surprise when 4th of 14 in a 3000m Marseille-Borély Class E on 29 May but, even with hind shoes off, is not about to repeat
- KANAILLE ROYALE – Solid in 2 of last 3, latterly 2nd of 9 to KEDEA DE GINAI (6) in a 2800m Tours Class F on 18 May, and with stride in check could yet turn the tables
- KISSES ROYALE – Made amends for Vincennes blip when 4th of 10 in a 2700m Thouars Class F late last month. Tends to go well for Yoann Lebourgeois and has a decent chance of picking up some prizemoney
- KALI DES LANDIERS – Ran respectable 5th of 12 in a 3000m Nantes Class E on 29 May but on this occasion looks to be out of her league
- KEDEA DE GINAI – Put a pair of sanctions behind her to comfortably win a 2800m Tours Class F on 18 May. Will appreciate the return to a hard surface and is not incapable of doubling her money
- KARA DE PIERREPONT – Imposed at Meslay-du-Maine but failed to confirm when 7th of 13 in a 2950m Le Mans Class E on 22 May. Not a priority but can still get a look-in
- KELLE EAU – Sanctioned in a 2700m Graignes Class E a fortnight ago. Is not devoid of ability but appears to be off the boil and cannot be considered a player
- KOREA – Sanctioned in 2 of 3 this term, latterly a 2950m Le Mans Class E on 22 May. Has bags of ability though and will not be far off the mark if Mathieu Mottier keeps her focused
- KITTY RANAISE – Last but one in a 2850m Class D here when preparing for this 2.5 weeks ago. Races first-time barefoot but still not a concern
- KALINE DU BOULAY – Has shown improvement lately, most recently running 4th of 10 in a 2675m Class F at Le Mont-Saint-Michel 8 days ago and with Eric Raffin in the bike is not to be underestimated
- KELOMA DREAM – Ran 2nd at Graignes before coming 4th of 12 behind KIARA BLUE (1) in a 2850m Laval Class E on 30 April. Has never produced the goods at Vincennes though and others easier to back
Summary: It took little time for KIARA BLUE (1) to get back in the game following her break and, confirmed under these conditions, a repeat of her Laval performance would see her win this. Clarisse Lelièvre will still be keeping an eye on the complicated KEDEA DE GINAI (6) who returned to winning ways at Tours 3 weeks ago, and a reconfigured KALINE DU BOULAY (11) who has been entrusted to Eric Raffin for the first time. Last of 12 at Laval, KANAILLE ROYALE (3) ran 2nd to Guillaume Martin’s mare at Tours and with application will be no pushover.

C4 – PRIX JEAN LE GONIDEC – 2175m (a1m1/4) – Gr2 Race – Harness – EUR € 120,000 - KOH SAMUI – Last of 13 in a 2150m Enghien Class C a fortnight ago. Races shod and will have nothing to offer
- KAVALA DE PADD – 2nd of 15 in a 2150m Class A at Enghien 2 weeks ago. Steps back up in category but would be preferred more competitively shod
- KAPORAL DES FORGES – 5th of 15 behind KAVALA DE PADD (2) in a 2150m Class A at Enghien 2 weeks ago and in this company will struggle to make his mark
- KOBAYASHI – 2nd in Gr.2 Prix Robert Auvray before enduring a tough trip in the race of reference, finishing 8th of 13. Mathieu Mottier in the bike this time and looks a player
- KEEN WINNER – 6th of 16 in a 2700m Gr.3 here on 14 May. Always gives her best but is a far cry from last summer’s form
- KARLITO – 3rd of 15, a place behind KAVALA DE PADD (2), in a 2150m Enghien Class A 2 weeks ago. Never easy to gauge but is Gr.1-placed and deserves to be taken seriously
- KATAKI DE WALLIS – Left a fine impression when 2nd of 13 in 2850m Gr.2 Prix Albert Demarcq here on 3 May. Is plainly close to his race and is in with a realistic shout of imposing
- KAMEHAMEHA – Unthreatening before being demoted in 2700m Gr.2 Prix Robert Auvray on 12 April. Is no star but appreciates 2175m here and, reconfigured for the occasion, merits respect
- KYRIELLE – Lost her action under the saddle before running 6th of 13 in Prix Albert Demarcq early last month and will need to show marked improvement
- KING OPERA – Sanctioned on re-entry in 3 May race of reference, although would have run 4th had he not clashed in the straight. Shoes on again and although not a priority is still worth keeping an eye on
- KANTO AVIS – Won 2 on the trot before coming 4th of 13 in 3 May race of reference. Boasts solid references over 2175m and looks main threat to KATAKI DE WALLIS (7)
- KRACK TIME ATOUT – Has not been seen out since running 13th of 18 in 2700m Gr.2 Prix de Bretagne last November. Has talent to burn but is still in conditioning mode and unlikely to be given a hard race
- KANA DE BEYLEV – Excellent in Prix Henri Levesque before coming valiant 3rd of 13 in 2850m Gr.2 Prix Albert Demarcq here on 3 May. Excels under these conditions and could well impose
Summary: The line of the Gr.2 Prix Albert Demarcq is a good yardstick for this somewhat more particular affair. Runner-up to the untouchable Koctel Du Dain that day, KATAKI DE WALLIS (7) races barefoot again, over a distance he appreciates, and can impose. There will be no shortage of resistance though from Gr.2 Prix Robert Auvray winner, the barefoot KANTO AVIS (11), who ran 4th, a place behind KANA DE BEYLEV (13) who had won the Gr.2 Prix Henri Levesque just 3 weeks earlier. Barefoot this time, KOBAYASHI (4) will be expected to bounce back, while a barefoot KARLITO (6) can make a big splash if applied.

C5 – PRIX CHAMBON P – 2850m (a2m) – Gr2 Race – Harness – EUR € 120,000 - DEUS ZACK – Returns to Paris after coming 5th of 9 over 1600m in Gr.1 Gran Premio Lotteria early last month. Has done little of note here for some time though and others easier to back
- IGUSKI SAUTONNE – Has turned a corner since moving to Matthieu Abrivard’s yard, most recently excellent 2nd of 11 in 2450m Gr.2 Prix des Ducs de Normandie on 10 May, and will be expected to give INEXESS BLEU (7) a run for his money
- GENDREEN – 4th in race of reference at 51/1 before faulting in a 3150m Class A at La Roche-Posay last weekend and is not about to create an upset
- GASPAR DE BRION – Has not been seen out since running 8th of 13 to INEXESS BLEU (7) in 2700m Gr.2 Prix Kerjacques here on 5 April and with shoes on can be confidently ruled out
- FAKIR DE MAHEY – 3rd of 8 in Gr.3 Prix Jean Riaud here on 23 May. Is plainly back on track and will not be sent out at 28/1 this time
- GASPAR D’ANGIS – Steps back up in class after coming 2nd of 8 to INEXESS BLEU (7) in 2850m Gr.3 Prix Jean Riaud on 23 May. Consistently gives his best and with form maintained can again make the frame
- INEXESS BLEU – Outstanding campaigner chasing a ninth consecutive win after a commanding performance in the 2850m Gr.3 Prix Jean Riaud on 23 May. Very much the one to beat again
- INA DU RIB – 6th of 8 to INEXESS BLEU (7) in race of reference. Has other priorities and can be disregarded
- HOOKER BERRY – Disqualified from 3rd in Prix de l’Atlantique before finishing last in Elitlopp heat over a mile 2 weeks ago. Enjoys solid course-and-distance credentials though and Benjamin Rochard will be eager to put things right
Summary: Undefeated in his last 8 races, INEXESS BLEU (7) was undeniably one of the winter meeting’s revelations and, very much at home under these conditions, has every chance of keeping his unbeaten 2025 record intact. Surprise Prix de l’Atlantique winner IGUSKI SAUTONNE (2) ran a superb 2nd place in the Prix des Ducs de Normandie at Caen and although less-performant over 2850m here, and with hind shoes back on, he is nevertheless in cracking form and runs on his merits. Runner-up to Alexandre Abrivard’s horse in the Gr.3 Prix Jean Riaud, GASPAR D’ANGIS (6) looks particularly competitive, as does FAKIR DE MAHEY (5) who finished close to him that day.

C6 – PRIX GUY LE GONIDEC – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Gr2 Race – Harness – EUR € 120,000 - LUNELLA LEMAN – Finished last of 10 in a Class B under these conditions mid-May and is unlikely to play an active role
- LUMINEUSE DE BRION – Steps back up in category after winning a Class C over course and distance 3 weeks ago. Has won 2 of 3 under these conditions but may just be taking on too much
- LUMINOSITY – Disappointing so far this term, most recently sanctioned in a Gr.3 over course and distance early last month, and others easier to back
- LIBERTE DE CHOISEL – Winner of all 4 starts this season, most recently a Class B under these conditions early last month. Comes here fresh and with shoes off for the occasion will not be easily opposed
- LUDIVINE – Showed the limit of her capacity when 11th of 13 behind LILAS CASTELLE (10) in a Gr.3 over track and trip a fortnight back and would be preferred a level down
- LUSH LIFE – Unplaced in last 2, latterly 7th of 13 behind LILAS CASTELLE (10) in a Gr.3 over course and distance on 3 May, and is not about to spice things up
- LARA DU GOUTIER – Made quite the impact when victorious in a 2700m Class A here, on re-entry, late-April. Has freshness on her side, will have progressed for the run, and looks dangerous
- LAUREATE DRY – Fine servant that lost all chance at the start of a Gr.3 over course and distance on 3 May, coming 9th of 13 behind LILAS CASTELLE (10). Is reunited with Alexandre Abrivard who will be keen to set the record straight
- LA STAR ROC – Returns to racing barefoot after faulting early in a 2450m Caen Gr.3 on comeback a month ago. Will be fully fit by now but looks more a minor place prospect this time
- LILAS CASTELLE – 8th of 13 when preparing for this in a Gr.3 over track and trip fortnight back. Is barefoot, with Benjamin Rochard back in the bike, and with application can figure prominently
- LOUISIANE DE BOMO – Serious filly but has not been seen out since coming last of 8 in 2175m Gr.2 Prix Uranie last October and is going to need the race
- LONDON – Starts for first time since winning a 2200m Gr.1 here on 1 March. Will be barefoot though and on good behaviour can bring the fight to LIBERTE DE CHOISEL (4)
- LIZA JOSSELYN – Exceptional filly making first appearance since running 4th of 10 in 2100m Gr.1 Prix Ready Cash here 6 months ago. Unlikely too get her nose in front this time but is not going to be far from the action
Summary: Unbeaten in 7 starts over a hard surface, LIBERTE DE CHOISEL (4) faces a stiffer test this time but has talent in spades and, racing first-time barefoot, can continue her successful march forward. Anthony Barrier will be justifiably wary though of the Mathieu Mottier reined-and-trained LONDON (12) who has not been seen out since winning the Gr.1 Prix de Séléction in early-March, and LARA DU GOUTIER (7) who defied her odds to win over course and distance on her comeback. The Bazire stables sends out a reconfigured LIZA JOSSELYN (13) for her first start of 2025 and while capable of imposing on any given day, may just be a race shy.

C7 – PRIX DU QUERCY – 2850m (a2m) – Class B Race – Harness – EUR € 75,000 - JET EXPRESS – 3rd in a 2700m Gr.3 here prior to being denied a run, coming 8th of 14 in a 2150m Enghien Class A 2 weeks ago. Front shoes off this time and can play a prominent role if kept out of trouble
- JOLIE STAR – Returns to racing barefoot after being boxed in behind JET EXPRESS (1), coming 12th of 14 in a 2150m Enghien Class A 2 weeks ago. Is never far from faulting but is a tough nut when focused and merits respect
- JUST A BOY D’ALESA – Ran 2nd to JOLIE STAR (2) on comeback before failing to deliver, coming 12th of 14, in a 2100m Class D here on 2 May. Has been freshly-reconfigured and Mathieu Mottier will be keen to make amends
- JANZIBAR – Excellent at Maure before running 4th of 12 in a 2450m Caen Class C a month back. Is arguably better under the saddle but in current for is easy to recommend for a place on the podium
- JASON – Has not been seen out since finishing last but one in a 2700m Class C here on 12 April. Front pads fitted and will have nothing to contribute
- JOLIE SURPRISE – Made up for Maure sanction when 3rd of 11 in a 2100m Class C here 3 weeks ago and with JMB in the bike will have a legitimate claim on the prize
- HARDI CROWN – Good dual-discipline type that ran 5th of 13 and a 2700m Vincennes Class C a fortnight ago but may just be taking on too much this time
- GUAPO MARBOULA – 7th of 13 in a 2450m Caen monte Class B on 10 May. Has other ambitions and can be ruled out
- JAZZMAN DEBAILLEUL – Won a Class A here before coming 2nd of 14 in a 2800m Gr.3 at Le Croise-Laroche 2.5 weeks ago and, shod to preference, will be expected to contest the finish
- JACK TONIC – Put on a fine show to run 2nd of 15 in a competitive 2550m Reims Gr.3 on 9 April. On back line again, but comes here fresh, and will not go down without a fight
- HORCHESTRO – Kicked the year off well but disappointing in the last three, latterly sanctioned in a 2550m Beaumont-de-Lomagne Gr.3 late-April. Races barefoot, with Eric Raffin in the bike for the first time, but others still easier to back
Summary: Barring her unfortunate Maure sanction, JOLIE SURPRISE (6) has otherwise been as solid as a rock this year and with Jean-Michel Bazire reining for the first time, should garner the lion’s share of support. Excellent on re-entry before a surprisingly lacklustre performance here in early-May, JAZZMAN DEBAILLEUL (9) sports a fresh configuration and even though 25m worse off will still be competitive for the win. JANZIBAR (4) has not put a foot out of line since mid-January and, barefoot as he was at Maure-de-Bretagne, will be no easy touch. A Group-class trotter, JACK TONIC (10) is forced to start on the 2nd row and has not been seen for 2 months but, as he showed at Reims, it should make little difference.

C8 – PRIX JULES THIBAULT – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Gr2 Race – Harness – EUR € 120,000 - LIVE TO TELL – Pleasantly surprising 3rd of 13 to LANCIER DU GOUTIER (2) in a Gr.3 over course and distance on 23 May. Sports modified shoeing but still seems to be taking on too much
- LANCIER DU GOUTIER – Quality individual that romped in a Gr.3 over course and distance on 23 May. Makes first foray into Gr.2 category but looks thoroughly up to the task. Chance
- LOVER MAN – In the frame in all 3 starts this term, most recently runner-up to LANCIER DU GOUTIER (2) in a Gr.3 over course and distance on 23 May. Has never failed to fire at Vincennes and looks a solid first-5 chance
- LORD DU BASSIN – 4th of 11 to L’AS DESBOIS (6) in a Gr.3 over course and distance early last month despite being denied a run. In superior company this time though and no more than a minor place chance
- LE BILLET VERT – 2nd to LEARN TO FLY (10) before coming close 3rd of 9 in a 2450m Caen Gr.3 on 10 May. Consistently gives his best and will not be going home empty-handed
- L’AS DESBOIS – Has taken his game up a notch since starting to race barefoot, latterly dominating a Gr.3 over course and distance early last month. Not a priority but still has the wherewithal to finish in the mix
- LIONHEART – Classy campaigner in both codes, latterly 4th of 9 in a monte Gr.2 over course and distance 8 days ago. JMB in the bike but still not a concern
- LEMON TREE – Useful colt but has not been seen out since finishing last but one in a 2100m Gr.2 here 4 months ago. Shoes on and no threat
- LUCKY JACKSON – Back under harness after faulting in a monte Gr.2 over course and distance 8 days ago and chances limited
- LEARN TO FLY – Made it 2 on the trot when dominating a 2875m Enghien Gr.2 on 19 April. Is unbeaten in the day’s configuration and Paul Ploquin can be confident of another big run
- LIGHT MY FIRE – Makes first appearance since running 2nd of 12 in 2175m Gr.1 Prix de Séléction on 1 March. Similarly shod for re-entry and must be taken more seriously this time. Place prospect
- LUCIANO MENUET – Below-par for some time, most recently sanctioned in a 2450m Caen Gr.3 last month. Excellent at 2 and 3 but has since lost his way
- LOVINO BELLO – Classy colt that didn’t skip a beat on re-entry, winning a 2450m Caen G.3 on 10 May. Has nothing to prove under these conditions and looks the one to beat
Summary: With 3 runners in the race, Thierry Duvaldestin should be able to wrap this up. Dual Gr.1 winner LOVINO BELLO (13) made a fine comeback at Caen a month ago and, difficult to fault over 2700m here, will likely take all the beating. Main opposition comes from stablemate LANCIER DU GOUTIER (2) who simply keeps on progressing, and LIGHT MY FIRE (11) who is competitively shod for his first start since running 2nd to the good London in the Prix de Séléction in early-March. Entrusted to Paul Ploquin for the first time, LEARN TO FLY (10) has turned a corner this year and will be expected to finish close.

- JAG HAUFOR – Useful but delicate sort that dominated a 2725m Graignes Class E a fortnight ago. Goes barefoot again and with application can finish in the mix
- JERICHO VEDAQUAIS – Confirmed Reims success when winning a 2300m Marseille-Borely Class D unopposed 3 weeks ago. Is new to the venue but is hard to ignore. Chance
- JIDEO STREET – Back in the capital after a dominant display over 2200m in a Class D at Caen just 10 days ago. Proven barefoot and sets the standard here
- JARDYLAND – Ran 4th of 10 behind JOYEUX MESLOIS (8) in a 2850m Maure Class E a month ago, on just 2nd start back and, if fully-fit and applied, can make a big impact
- JOB DU PERSIL – Steps back up in category after coming 5th of 9 in a 2100m amateurs Class F here 2.5 weeks ago but can expect little support
- JOB DES LOUANGES – Placed at Chartres before coming 5th of 10 in a 2150m Vichy Class B on 12 May. Runs without shoes for the first time in over a year and warrants close attention
- JOYEUX MESLOIS – Placed in 2 before running 6th of 15 in a 2400m Class F at Beaumont-de-Lomagne 3 weeks back. Barefoot for the occasion but has no love for the main track and chances limited
- I LOVE IGNY – Sanctioned in last 2, most recently a 2600m Class F at Châlons-en-Champagne on 25 May. Shod to preference this time but still not a concern
- JUGEMENT D’AVE – 8th of 11 when being conditioned for this in a 2800m Rambouillet Class F late last month. Has little Vincennes experience but is a tenacious type with every chance of finishing in the frame
Summary: Clearly back in business following a tough start to the year, JIDEO STREET (4) runs barefoot this time and although lacking Vincennes credentials, still looks a leading candidate. He will still face opposition from JERICHO VEDAQUAIS (3) who makes his Vincennes bow on a hat-trick, and a barefoot JARDYLAND (5) who reassured at Maure-de-Bretagne last month. Shod to preference following his turf prep, JUGEMENT D’AVE (10) tends to go well for Yoann Lebourgeois.

C1 – PRIX POSIDONIE – 2400m (a1m1/2) – TURF – Maiden Race – Flat – EUR € 27,000
- KANDO – Admirable 2nd in a maiden over 2400m at Lion D’Angers on the 6th of May 2025. Can be the lurker of the pack
- THE FRENCH SON – Smart debut finishing 2nd in a maiden over 2300m at Le Mans on the 3rd of May 2025. Could go one more here
- MENCOLEK – Encouraging debut finishing 4th in a maiden over 2000m at Chantilly on the 2nd of May 2025. Strong winning contentions
- STARLORD – Good 2nd in a maiden over 2000m at Compiegne on the 21st of May 2025. Does hold a big shout
- EASTER DU PAS – Out of the 4 time winning mare Why Wait while the sire, Castle Du Berlais was a Listed winner and mainly performed in Hurdles races
- ARNAY LE DUC – Out of the unraced mare La Buisse while the sire, Sageburg was a Group I winning horse. Might need the debut experience
Summary: MENCOLEK (3) produced an encouraging debut performance over the 2000m. The step up to 2400m is going to be ideal for him which he could make it a winning effort in his second start. STARLORD (4) has had six starts to date and has not missed a cheque. He understands racing by now and looks to be the perfect race where stars can align for him in victory. THE FRENCH SON (2) ran a cracking second and has the ability to go one more here. Summary: MELOSA (3) has shown ability in the few starts to date and now goes handicapping which could unlock a different side of her. She remains with plenty of scope for improvement and should be involved. HOT AND BEAUTY (2) has shown up well in the past and is capable of earning here. MY SECRET LIGHT (1) gets weight off the back and on some of her better efforts, she can have a say in the outcome. LADY MADEIRA (4) shed her maiden tag last time out and with confidence on her side, she could be dangerous.
