R1 ENGHIEN [L-H]
C1 – PRIX DU PONT D’ARCOLE – 2875m (a2m) – Class F Amateur Drivers Race – Harness – EUR € 12,000
- INES LAND – 7th of 13 in a 2950m Saint-Malo Class F 3 weeks ago. Has been off the boil all year and can be passed over
- HAZEL DOPE – Drops back to a category she appreciates after running 7th of 11 in an 1800m Class E at La Capelle mid-month. Pleasant here earlier in the year and although not a contender is still worth monitoring
- IDOLE DE NAVARY – 4th of 15 in a 2750m Class E at La Capelle 8 days ago. Solid in last 4 amateur starts and looks a respectable first-5 chance
- HUGO FRATI – 4th of 12 in a 2850m Laon amateurs Class G 3 weeks ago. Is 25m better off this time and even though shod still has a lot to offer
- HOBBY DE L’EVRE – 5th of 16 in a 2950m Toulouse amateurs Class F 10 days ago. Breaks in front, boasts solid credentials when shod, and has a decent chance of finishing close
- HAUGAIN – 2nd at Thouars before running 6th of 11 behind JACKSON HILL (8) in a 2850m Vincennes amateurs Class F early this month. 2nd under these conditions in March and must be taken seriously
- HERMINE SIMARDIERE – Makes Enghien debut after having run 6th of 10 in a 2600m Morlaix amateurs Class H on 15 June and is unlikely to shake things up
- JACKSON HILL – Put in a good effort to run 3rd of 11 in a 2850m Vincennes amateurs Class F early this month. Has yet to deliver at Enghien but in this category looks a serious proposition
- GRACE DE MAI – 5th of 10 finishers in a 2975m Jallais Class E on 15 June. Has placed just twice in 5 amateur starts and is not about to create an upset
- HALAFOLY ROBSEN – Failed to confirm Saint-Brieuc success when sanctioned in a 2450m Caen Class F 9 days ago. Is plainly in shape though, sports front pads for the occasion, and despite the handicap should not disappoint
- JUNON DE LOU – Quality mare making first appearance since winning a 2700m Vincennes Class C last November. Stays shod for comeback, and incurs the penalty, but in this category is not to be underestimated
- EMIR SPEEDHYCAT – Unexceptional 8th of 13 to HALAFOLY ROBSEN (10) in a 2575m Saint-Brieuc amateurs Class F a fortnight ago and has no possible chance
- FIFTY WINNER – 6th of 16 behind HOBBY DE L’EVRE (5) in a 2850m Laval amateurs Class F on 4 June but a repeat seems most improbable
Summary: The key to this race can be found on the front line and, considering both his form and the entry, JACKSON HILL (8) is very easy to like. Not far behind him across town earlier in the month, HAUGAIN (6) should again figure prominently, but may first have to see off the talented HUGO FRATI (4) who races shod for his Enghien debut. Also reverting to racing with shoes fitted, HOBBY DE L’EVRE (5) will be no pushover if he replicates his Laval performance.

C2 – PRIX DU PONT AVAL – 2150m (a1m1/4) – Class R Claiming – Harness – EUR € 18,000 - IMPACT CASTELETS – 6th of 10 finishers, a place behind IPSO DU FER (8), in a 2800m Chartres Class F in early-May. Boasts a good record in Enghien claimers and even though starting on the inside can begin to get back in the game.
- IZIO DU POMMEREUX – 8th of 11 when preparing for this in a 2800m Chartres Class E 10 days ago. Thrives in the claiming category and is well-placed to give this a good go
- IDEAL RANAIS – Last but one in a 2825m Chartres Class E in late-April. Has a lot going for him here and, already successful in the claiming division, can make a big impact
- IDEAL DU MOULIN – Solid earlier in the year but disappointing in last 2, latterly 7th of 10 in a 2800m Pontchateau Class E mid-month. Sports a new formula, with Mathieu Mottier in the bike, and from the 4-spot should not be underestimated
- JOMIZIO – 5th of 12 in a 2450m Caen monte Class E late last month and will have other ambitions
- ICARUS BOURBON – Drops in category after being sanctioned in a 2750m Class E at La Capelle mid-month and races here on a prayer
- KROSS FINGERS – Comfortable winner of a 2850m Vincennes claimer 11 days ago. Takes on better this time but can still finish in the mix if kept focused
- IPSO DU FER – Last of 8 in a 2600m Châlons-en-Champagne Class F on 25 May. Reliability not his strong suit but has solid claiming references and even though not ideally-drawn, nevertheless has the capacity to get in on the action
- KOSAK DU FER – 5th of 8 to KROSS FINGERS (7) in a 2850m Vincennes claimer 11 days ago. Fitted with pads for Enghien bow and the draw does little to help his cause
- KASSIANO D’IS – Returns to racing barefoot after finishing last of 8 in a 2750m Class E at La Capelle 8 days ago. Paul Ploquin reining this time but still not a concern
Summary: Unseen since his re-entry run at Chartres 2 months ago, IDEAL RANAIS (3) is shod to preference for his Enghien debut, will be reined by Eric Raffin, and from the 3-spot can wrap this up. A fine servant at this level, and confirmed at Enghien, IZIO DU POMMEREUX (2) is shod as he was here in April and can apply the pressure. KROSS FINGERS (7) made short work of a similar event across town recently and with application can again figure prominently. IMPACT CASTELETS (1) is at his ease in the claiming division, likes Enghien, and will not be going home empty-handed.

C3 – PRIX DU PONT DE L’ARCHEVECHE – 2150m (a1m1/4) – Class D Race – Harness – EUR € 40,000 - MOONWALK D’HERIPRE – Made short work of a 2275m Nantes Class E a month ago. Makes metropolitan debut with morale restored and is easy to like for the double
- MUNCH CLUB – 5th of 9 behind MAESTRO CASH (8) in a 2750m Class D at La Capelle mid-month. Will have come on for the race and from the 2-spot will be no soft touch
- MAESTRO DE FORGAN – Returned to winning ways mid-month when securing a 2600m Class E at La Roche-Posay. Placed nicely behind the car but can expect to find this a more difficult task
- MIKADO GEDE – 5th of 11 on comeback in a 2200m Vincennes Class D on 10 June. Is sure to have progressed for the race and, with Benjamin Rochard in the bike, will not go down easily
- MOZART DU DOLLAR – Made up for Le Croise-Laroche blip when 4th of 9, a place behind MAESTRO CASH (8), in a 2750m Class D at La Capelle on 15 June. Caught the eye that day and is not to be underestimated
- MAESTRO BILOU – Sanctioned on comeback in a 2725m Lisieux Class C 3 weeks ago and is plainly out of his depth
- MILKA LIO – In the frame in 4 straight prior to finishing 6th of 8, a place behind MIKADO GEDE (4), in a 2200m Vincennes Class D 2.5 weeks ago. Gabriele Gelormini at the helm this time but others still preferred
- MAESTRO CASH – Sanctioned at Chartres on 1 June but made amends when 3rd of 9 in a 2750m Class D at La Capelle 2 weeks later. Forced to start wide but in this small field can still make first 5
- MANGA DES RACQUES – Honest colt that ran 2nd of 12 in a 2750m Class F at La Capelle late last month but is taking on too much this time around
Summary: Comfortable winner at Nantes late last month, MOONWALK D’HERIPRE (1) receives another Eric Raffin drive and Jean-Philippe Monclin will have already envisaged a repeat. MIKADO GEDE (4) raced respectably at Vincennes on his seasonal re-entry and should prove more competitive this time around. MOZART DU DOLLAR (5) demonstrated excellent tenacity at La Capelle recently and should appreciate Enghien conditions. A place behind him that day, also on his return to competition, MUNCH CLUB (2) must be taken seriously.

C4 – PRIX DU ROUSSILLON – 2150m (a1m1/4) – Class C Race – Harness – EUR € 68,000 - JIMMY FERRO BR – Reassuringly fast winner over a mile at Berlin-Mariendorf on 1 June. Has nothing to prove in this category and must be taken seriously
- HORS BORD – 3rd of 10 finishers in a 2650m Alencon Class D on 1 June. Is well-in on the front row and although not a priority is still worth keeping an eye on
- HERMES EXPRESS – Handy dual-discipline type that ran close 2nd of 12 in a 2850m Vincennes monte Class C 8 days ago and is ideally placed to give this a good go
- HISA DU MARGAS – Disappointing so far this season, most recently 10th of 11 finishers behind IN RED (6) in a 2700m Vincennes Class C late-May, and can be passed over
- ETHAN DRIVE – Has bags of ability but sanctioned in last 2, latterly a 2700m Vincennes Class C late-May. Reverts to a successful formula but still has too much to do
- IN RED – Runner-up to a very good horse in a 2875m Class D here 2 weeks ago. Is simply superb over 2150m and looks the one to beat
- CANTO DEI VENTI – Pleasant 5th of 16 in a 2450m Caen Class C on 10 May. Will be fully fit by now and must be retained
- IMPERIAL DURABUTIN – Won 2 of last 3, latterly a 2825m Class E at Le Croise-Laroche early this month. Breaks wide on front line and despite having no Enghien references should not be ignored
- COLBERT WF – Hardy element that ran 2nd at La Rochelle on comeback before coming 3rd of 11 in a 2850m Vincennes Class D 3 weeks ago. Eric Raffin in the bike this time and is easy to like for a place in the frame
- HAMIGO – Winner on May re-entry prior to repeating in a 2100m Vincennes Class D 3 weeks ago and the 3-timer is well within his capacity
- MISTER DONALD – Below-par over recent months, most recently last but one behind COLBERT WF (9) in a 2850m Vincennes Class D 3 weeks ago, and can expect to have few takers
- CHEMAR – 5th of 11 behind COLBERT WF (9) in a 2850m Vincennes Class D 3 weeks ago. Handed a rough draw and will struggle to make his presence felt
- READLY LAVEC – 4th of 8 in a 640m speed race in Solvalla when preparing for this late last month. Has ample ability but is being aimed too high
- NICE PRESENT – 7th of 11 behind COLBERT WF (9) in a 2850m Vincennes Class D 3 weeks ago. Out of the picture in 3 starts this season and can expect to remain friendless in the markets
- BOCCADAMO – Last of 11 in 6 June race of reference. Has struggled since coming to France and can be ruled out
Summary: An absolute dynamo in the day’s configuration, IN RED (6) is plainly close to his race and from the 6-spot can open his 2025 account. Less favourably-drawn, HAMIGO (10) comes to Enghien on a hat-trick and, winner of his only start here, is unlikely to go down without a fight. JIMMY FERRO BR (1) may not be the most reliable of horses but he got back in the game in Berlin early this month and will be reunited with Benjamin Rochard who scored with at Vincennes in January. Not once out of the picture all year, COLBERT WF (9) is unlikely to be far from the action. HERMES EXPRESS (3) caught the eye on his monte comeback and from the 3-spot will not be far from the action.

C5 – PRIX DE L’OBSERVATOIRE – 2875m (a2m) – Class B Race – Mounted – EUR € 52,000 - MOUFFY – Modest trotter that was sanctioned in a 2450m Caen Class F last Monday and can expect to have few friends on Enghien bow
- MIDNIGHT DE CUY – Unremarkable since switching codes, most recently 7th of 9 finishers , a place behind MAGYC BERRY (7), in a 2700m Vincennes Class B 11 days ago, and can expect to have few takers
- MISTER DU BAS BOSQ – Confirmed debut victory when victorious in a 2450m Caen Class D on 28 May. In marginally better company this time but is still a legitimate contender
- MURO – Sanctioned when going well in a 2700m Vincennes harness Class C on 23 May. Leading pilot in the irons and debuts in the discipline with a realistic chance of making it a victorious one
- MISTER DUAL – Imposed at Vincennes in May at first time of asking under the saddle but sanctioned early next time in a Class B over 2700m across town 11 days ago. Has bags of potential and can win this if allowed to express himself
- MEPHISTO DU CLOS – Has not been seen out since running 2nd of 11 in a 2200m Vincennes Class B 4 months ago. Is unlikely to lose his maiden tag but can nonetheless challenge for a place on the podium
- MAGYC BERRY – 6th of 9 finishers in a 2700m Vincennes Class B 11 days ago. Not devoid of ability but still has more to find
- MY AMERICA – Facile winner of a 2175m Vincennes Class D on 20 May, her first start in the discipline. Being aimed higher this time but still represents a respectable first-5 prospect
- MANIGOD – Handy sort dropping in class after running 5th of 8 in a 2700m Vincennes Gr.3 a month back. Is not about to get off the mark but should nevertheless hold his own
- MIDNIGHT MOLLY – Unplaced in both starts this term, latterly 7th of 8 finishers in a 2700m Vincennes harness Class A on 20 May, and debuts in the code with little to contribute
Summary: Complicated he may be but MURO (4) has shown significant ability under harness, has been entrusted to Eric Raffin for his monte debut, and can win this if he stays focused. An early sanction prevented MISTER DUAL (5) from confirming his May victory but Mathieu Mottier stays faithful and will be determined to put things right. Undefeated in both starts to date, MISTER DU BAS BOSQ (3) goes left-handed for the first time but can still pull off the 3-timer. MEPHISTO DU CLOS (6) makes his first appearance since February but has not once finished out of the frame and can get straight back in the game.

C6 – PRIX DE LA PORTE SAINT-MARTIN – 2875m (a2m) – Class D Race – Harness – EUR € 46,000 - KING STALLION – Reassuring runner-up to KER DE TOUES (7) in a 2700m Class D across town earlier in the month. Is not about to spring a surprise but will generate some interest
- KING DE GINAI – Disappointing in 2 since imposing at Meslay mid-May, latterly sanctioned in a 2525m Class D at Les Andelys a fortnight ago, and others easier to trust
- KASSIDY KID – Has done nothing but improve lately, most recently 3rd of 16 in a 2850m Laval Class D earlier this month, but is still taking on too much
- KALINKA CASTELETS – Pleasant 4th of 15 in a 2100m Vincennes Class D a fortnight ago but a repeat seems most improbable
- KELYO DU SOLNAN – Quickly sanctioned in a 2850m Laval Class D on 4 June. Arguably better racing clockwise but in present form is hard to ignore
- KINGSMAN D’EOLE – Excellent 4th of 16 in a 2850m Laval Class D early this month, following a long hiatus. He will have progressed for the race and can win his first for 18 months
- KER DE TOUES – Surprise winner of a 2700m Vincennes Class D 3 weeks ago. 4 pads fitted this time and cannot be considered a priority
- KARA D’OR – Left a good impression on comeback at Les Andelys mid-month when 5th of 15 in a 2525m Class D. Is confirmed at Enghien and must be afforded respect
- KOUREAS D’ELA – Useful dual-discipline mare that ran 9th of 13 in a 2300m Chateaubriant Class D on 25 May and but others still easier to back
- KAPELLA VET – Unlucky 3rd of 16 in a 2850m Vincennes Class D on 20 May. Has had ample time to freshen up, returns to a track she likes, and looks competitively well-in
- KEPI DEL – Left a good impression on re-entry when 6th of 14 in a 2825m Class E at Le Croise-Laroche 12 days ago. Is shod to preference this time and will be expected to give KINGSMAN D’EOLE (6) a run for his money
- KAZY MERITE – 3rd of 9, on just 2nd start back, in a 2700m Class D at La Capelle in early-May. Comes here fresh, adores Enghien, and despite the hike in category, can still play an active role
- KAHIA DE LA CROIX – Sanctioned in a 2475m Niort Class D on 18 May, her first goal of the season. Excellent when barefoot and focused and Alexandre Abrivard will be out to put things right
- KRICK DU GUESCLIN – Returns to racing unshod-behind after being sanctioned in a 2475m Niort Class D on 18 May. Has evident ability but is never far from faulting
- KORALIA DE CROUAY – Starts for the first time since coming 4th of 10 in a 2100m Vincennes Class D mid-April. Eric Raffin in the bike and will afford his charge every chance
- KNOK – Nicely-engaged at the limit of earning but has not been seen out since running 3rd of 12 in a 2100m Vincennes Class C last February. Shoes off but still not a contender
Summary: Surprisingly spritely early this month on his first appearance since January 2024, KINGSMAN D’EOLE (6) thrives with Mathieu Mottier and has a realistic chance of imposing. They will still come under pressure from the reconfigured KEPI DEL (11) provided he stays trotting, and the ever-consistent KAPELLA VET (10) who has never disappointed here. Sanctioned at Laval when preparing for this, KELYO DU SOLNAN (5) has shoes off this time and with application will be competitive for a spot on the podium.

C7 – PRIX DE CREPY EN VALOIS – 2250m (a1m1/2) – Class D Race – Mounted – EUR € 40,000 - LOVELY FACE – Debuts in the discipline after finishing 8th of 12 in a 2200m Caen harness Class E 2.5 weeks ago. Eric Raffin in the saddle and will be competitive for a first-5 spot

- LINO DU POMMEREUX – Takes first competitive monte steps after running 6th of 15 in a 3000m Nantes harness Class D on 2 June and is unlikely to shake things up
- LEWIS D’EVEL – Opened his account at Langon before coming 3rd of 9 in a 2450m Caen Class D on 11 June. Just front pads fitted this time though and others preferred
- LERWICK PERRINE – Faithful sort making first start since coming 3rd of 5 finishers in a 2700m Vincennes Class D last September, and even though reconfigured is going to need the run
- LA STORIA DE LOU – Makes Enghien bow after running 2nd of 7 finishers in a 2450m Caen Class E on 16 June and is eminently capable of finishing close once more
- LILOU TREMBLADAISE – Sanctioned when being conditioned in a 3125m Angers Class E 2.5 weeks ago. Has imposed under these conditions and going barefoot should only enhance her prospects
- LUCKY DU BOUFARD – Won 3 in a row before coming valiant 3rd of 6 in a 2875m Class D here on 17 April. Will be fresh and can play a leading role
- LOUXOR DE JOUB – Classy sort starting for first time since finishing last but one in a 2700m Vincennes Class A last September. Hind shoes off however and even though requiring a run, can nonetheless pick up some prizemoney
- LOTUS PAULOIS – Last of 9 behind LULU THICEMA (12), on comeback, in a 2525m Class E at Les Andelys mid-month and will have few friends
- LISA MONA BLUE – Returns to the ridden code after running 8th of 12 behind LUCIFER (14) in a 3000m Nantes Class E a month back. Sports modified shoeing, with Mathieu Mottier in the irons, and can play a prominent part
- LULU THICEMA – Failed to pull off the harness hat-trick when 3rd of 9 in a 2525m Class E at Les Andelys mid-month. Is new to the ridden code but is plainly capable and cannot be ruled out
- LEONA DU GITE – Placed at Caen before being sanctioned in a 2950m Vichy Class F mid-month. Can trot though and will be no pushover if focused
- LUCIFER – Changes code for first time after running 5th of 12 in a 3000m Nantes Class E on 29 May. Reverts to a previous configuration but still not an obvious choice
- LUXOR D’AUVILLIER – 2nd of 12 in a 2150m harness Class E here on 24 May. Is new to the discipline but in present shape is very easy to like
- L’ARC EN CIEL – Back under the saddle after being sanctioned in a 2625m Moulins harness claimer on 18 May and appears to have no realistic chance
Summary: Like a horse reborn since switching codes, LUCKY DU BOUFARD (8) may not have been seen out since mid-April but he goes barefoot and will be expected to get straight down to business. LILOU TREMBLADAISE (7) won under these conditions last season and with shoes off under the saddle for the first time will be expected to oblige. LA STORIA DE LOU (6) gave a good account of herself on her Caen comeback and makes her Enghien debut with a good hand to play. Nicely-entered and sporting a fresh configuration, LUXOR D’AUVILLIER (15) debuts in the discipline after a fine harness effort here last month and will have his chances if form transitions.

- HELIOS DES CHAMPS – Tricky sort that ran 9th of 14 behind HOTEL MYSTIC (12), on comeback, in a 2100m Class D across town on 13 June and has no realistic chance
- HELITE ELEVEN – Sanctioned in a 2100m Vincennes Class D on 13 June. Is here for reasons of conditioning and can be passed over
- HEAVEN STAR – Did not enjoy the best of trips when last but one behind HOTEL MYSTIC (12) in a 2100m Vincennes Class D 3 weeks ago. Went close on lone Enghien start and with front pads fitted is unlikely to be far off the mark
- HOMARD LAND – Easy winner of a 3450m Agon Class E last weekend. Steps up in category but in current form is easy to recommend
- GOUROU – Disappointing so far this season, latterly sanctioned in a 2750m Ecommoy Class E last Sunday, and can expect to have few friends
- HIGOR DAIRPET – Has done nothing but improve over recent months, latterly imposing over 2225m in a Feurs Class D on 13 June. Unlikely to repeat but can still get in on the action
- GIBALDI DE HOUELLE – Below-par in last 2, latterly 8th of 12 finishers in a 2700m Vincennes Class D 8 days ago. Is confirmed at this level but others still easier to back
- HESCORT LOVE – A place behind HOTEL MYSTIC (12) on re-entry before losing his action in a 2700m Vincennes Class D 8 days ago. Has won twice here though and with application will have his chances
- FUCHSIA DU RIB – 2nd of 9 in a 3000m Marseille-Borely Class D 2.5 weeks ago. Is consistently in the thick of things when barefoot and is unlikely to be far from the action
- EVAN PAULO – 5th of 11 in a 2625m Cherbourg Class E mid-month and races here with nothing to offer
- HOTEL MYSTIC – Unlucky not to have finished closer than 5th of 14 in a 2100m Class D across town on 13 June but will be no easy touch if Alexandre Abrivard keeps him out of trouble
- HEAD OF STATE – Made up for Lyon-Parilly sanction when clinching victory in a 2800m Pontchateau Class E on 5 June. Trainer could not have wished for a better entry and his son will be eager to oblige
Summary: The talented HEAD OF STATE (13) is prone to stride woes but has has won 2 of his last 3 starts, boasts a terrific record in the day’s configuration, and the superb entry is the icing on the cake. Clément Duvaldestin will still want to be wary of the recently unlucky HOTEL MYSTIC (12) who is clearly in excellent shape, and a reconfigured HESCORT LOVE (9) who finished close to him across town earlier in the month. HOMARD LAND (5) returned to the winners’ enclosure at Agon last Sunday and even though in better company, he has been reconfigured and can still challenge for a place in the frame.

- LEOLIO – Unseen since coming 8th of 11 in a 2700m Vincennes Class D last February. Barefoot for comeback but still not an obvious choice
- LITTLE LOVE – Sanctioned in a 2750m Class D at La Capelle 8 days ago. Has placed just once in 7 starts this season and can be disregarded
- LOUVIERS – Pulled-up on re-entry in a 2200m Caen Class E 2.5 weeks ago. Has ability but too frequently sanctioned to warrant much trust
- LOVE YOU PHYT’S – Won 2 on the trot before being sanctioned in a 2850m Laval Class E on 12 June. Has never tasted defeat when reined by Anthony Barrier and with application will be dangerous
- LIDO DE LOU – 4th of 11, on just 2nd start back, in a 2800m Pontchateau Class E on 5 June. Has talent in spades and the new configuration will only work in his favour. Claim
- L’AS DE SMARVES – Ran 2nd at Vichy but was sanctioned in a 2850m Laval Class E on 12 June and others easier to like
- LIVINIO FLAC – Got back in the game mid-month when 2nd of 11 in a 2700m Class E at La Capelle. Takes on a decent lot here but should nonetheless hold his own
- LALIK – Made amends for Vire sanction when 3rd of 11 in a 2300m Chartres Class E on 1 June. Should take well to Enghien profile and with application is unlikely to let the side down
- LEVEL ONE SYGA – Sanctioned, on return to competition, in a 2800m Chartres Class E 10 days ago. Has evident ability but may just need another run
- LITCHI CASTELETS – Came close to securing the hat-trick when 2nd of 12 in a 2850m Laval Class E 12 days ago. Eric Raffin back in the bike and will be expected to contest the finish once more
- L’AS DES AS – Placed at Le Croise-Laroche prior to faulting in a 2550m Reims Class E on 1 June. Benjamin Rochard in the bike this time but still cannot be considered a player
- LOVING DREAM – Quickly sanctioned in a 2800m Chartres Class E 10 days ago. Sports modified shoeing and although not a priority can still pick up a cheque
- LITTLEKING FOXGLEN – Hind shoes back on after finishing 7th of 11 in a 2750m Class D at La Capelle 8 days ago. Nicely-engaged here and with Franck Nivard reining this time will be no pushover if focused
- L’ALPHA DE LAUNI – 5th of 8 finishers in a 2800m Chartres Class E 10 days ago. Benefits from a terrific entry, races barefoot as he did when 3rd over course and distance last month, and can play an active part
Summary: Much improved on his 2nd start back, LIDO DE LOU (6) is more competitively-shod for his Enghien debut and most certainly has the wherewithal to win a race of this nature. That being said, LITCHI CASTELETS (11) has been a consummate professional since last autumn’s debut and, sporting a new configuration, looks the main threat. It’s a question of all-or-nothing when it comes to LOVE YOU PHYT’S (5) but he is undefeated in 3 starts with the day’s driver. Barring last month’s sanction, LALIK (9) has shown significant aptitude and Paul Ploquin can be confident of a big run.

Summary: JUMPING CHARLIE (3) has shown consistency with two placed efforts, most recently in a Class 1 chase at Pau in February. She’s likely to be sharp enough after a four-month break and looks the one to beat. TONERRE DU TEMPS (1) also returns from a layoff since January, but goes well fresh and can pose a threat. BELASKA (6) has been thriving over fences and, if handling the switch to hurdles, is a serious contender. GOLDEN PARK (5) adds further depth and should not be dismissed lightly.
