KOURPLUVIX (2) was narrowly touched off at his latest outing and can go one better in this event. MARTA’S PRINCE (4) wasn’t disgraced last time out and should have a say in the outcome. He could run his best race to date. SILGREYPIT (5) has stepped up his game this season and can earn.

THORDIS (8) has been running well in defeat recently and should give another honest account of herself. PINATIQUE (4) has shown ability and if putting her best foot forward, she can be involved.

PASAPALABRA (4) has fair Spanish form to his name and could earn a cheque on local debut. DENISJONH (1) hasn’t been too reliable this season but has shown his capabilities and can feature.

    Summary: INTEGRETAS (1) drops in class after only two starts, she was a pleasing second on debut in March at Chantilly and is much better than her latest start when out of the frame in a non-claiming event in late May at Parislongchamp. She should be able to get the better of the recent scorer BO DADDY (2), who won a claimer at Marseille Borely in June. CHILLS (5) has shown useful form in this class of race and warrants respect. PEARL SPIRIT (4) is another worth considering.

    Summary: SAPRISTI (12) brings strong recent form, with a win and three runner-up efforts, including a solid second in a Class 2 handicap at Compiegne on June 21st. He’s likely to confirm that form with ROCK JOYEUX (5), who finished just behind him in third and has recorded four placings this season. HATIM (16), sixth in that same race, could be a factor from the lower end of the handicap. BACK TO BLACK (4) and HASTA LA VISTA (3) are also in contention and could be involved.

    Summary: CANNEZA (7) ran a good race in mid-May on her latest start when third at Chantilly and looks capable of taking a race of this calibre. HERACLES (4) has been placed on three of his last four runs, and with that experience, he can make life difficult for the main selection. AMUSED (3) made progress to be second at Aix Les Bains 12 days ago and is one to pay attention to. YASHAN FAL (2) ran with promise on the PSF last November, and if fit, he is worth considering.

    Summary: Many in-form runners go to post for this opening event. MARINA DE FAEL (7) looked good when winning at her second start and can follow up. MANILLE SOMOLLI (6) also won on her second outing at the same course and could pose a threat to these rivals. MIDDLE EARTH (5) is improving and will not go down without a fight. MADONE D’OCCAGNES (12) has not been reliable but could go one better with a bit of improvement.

    Summary: Easy winner on debut in early-June, MACUMBA DU VIVIER (9) went on to dominate at Cherbourg a fortnight later, and Yoann Lebourgeois will justifiably have his sights set on the 3-timer. Somewhat trickier, but certainly not without merit, MAFALDA (5) will be dangerous if she stays in stride. MAUNY DE PLAY (6) should not be condemned for her last performance across town and can be backed with confidence. Delicate she may be but MILANTERA (8) has won 3 of the 4 races she has finished and her latest run bodes well for her chances.

MAGGY JENILOU (12) is also a tricky character but she debuts for the Mathieu Mottier yard and on good behaviour can play a leading role. MELCHIOR JAMES (11) has shown considerable ability under harness and makes his ridden bow with every chance of finishing in the frame.   58. LIBERTE HERBLINAIE – Has not shown much and was 7th in class F at Roche-sur-Yon over 2600m on 29 June. Has yet to win and others make more appeal
  59. LADY KEPLER – Has not shown much and was 8th in class F at Le Mont-Saint-Michel over 2675m on 30 June. Needs to find a few lengths to win
  60. LETTRE A FRANCE – Unreliable and finished 9th in class F at Erbray over 2675m on 6 July. Might pop up in a minor place at best
  61. LAZULITA – Has disqualificatio issues and was disqualified in class F at Saint-Malo over 2950m on 9 June. Could play a minor role is wise
  62. LEGENDE D’EOLE – Unreliable but was 3rd in class F at Pontchâteau over 2800m on 28 June. Victorious on debut and is in decent form. Not out of it
  63. LEZIRA SPORT – Has disqualification issues and was disqualified in class F at Lignieres over 2100m on 12 July. Victorious in November and could be competitive when wise
  64. LUMIERE BLUE – Has disqualification issues but was runner-up in class F at Questembert over 2500m on 22 June. Has shown improvement and can contest the finish
  65. LOLA DE LA DOUCE – Disappointing last runw when 6th in class H at Moulins-la-Marche over 2800m on 6 July. Victorious in June and can be a threat again
  66. LEELOU D’ARGOUGES – Yet to win a race but was runner-up in class H at La Gacilly over 2300m on 6 July. Could earn some more money
  67. LADY SLAVE TEK – Yet to win a race and finished 7th in class F at Saint-Malo over 2950m on 8 July. Capable of better and could contest the finish
  68. LIBRA SUPREME – Victorious in Class G at Le Croisé-Laroche over 2825m on 14 April. Has won twice in three attempts and has a winning chance
    Summary: A very competitive-looking event. LIBRA SUPREME (12) returned from a break to win her second race in just three starts. She’ll need to repeat that effort, as she is once again returning from a layoff. LADY SLAVE TEK (11) has yet to win but has produced some decent efforts when in the right mood. LEZIRA SPORT (7) appears better than her disqualification record suggests and could surprise if wise. LÉGENDE D’EOLE (6) showed improvement last month and can contest the finish again.

  69. MAJOR DE L’ECORCE – Showed some improvement second time out when 7th in Class F at Royan La Palmyre over 2475m on 8 June. Needs to do more to beat these rivals
  70. MERCURY DELO – Disqualified in his only start this year, at Vincennes on 10 January. Had run well twice before that and is not out of it if fit from a break and wise
  71. MON BARTH – Has lost his way of late and finished 9th in Class G at Erbray over 2675m on 7 June. Needs major improvement to win this race
  72. MILANO HAUFOR – Has run well in both starts to date and was third in Class F at Laval over 2850m on 20 June. Should be right there at the finish
  73. MOON WALKER – Has three disqualifications in a row, the latest being at Laval on 26 June. Capable of earning some money when wise
  74. MYSTIC DE REUX – Won well on debut in Class G at Orléans over 2200m on 29 June. Can follow up and remain unbeaten
  75. MILORD DES CHARMES – Consistent so far and was runner-up in Class F at Laval over 2850m on 20 June. Can go one better this time
  76. MATADOR DU PONT – Has improved of late and finished fourth in Class E at Cherbourg over 2625m on 15 June. Might make the frame
    Summary: MYSTIC DE REUX (6) was a good debut winner at Orléans last month. He steps up in distance but can follow up. MILORD DES CHARMES (7) is getting close to his first win and should be right there at the finish. MILANO HAUFOR (4) has shown ability in both starts and would not be a surprise winner. MATADOR DU PONT (8) has improved recently and can be involved in the finish once again.

  79. HAUGAIN – Has sruggled of late and was 11th in Class F at Les Sables-d’Olonne over 2775m on 12 July. Capable of better but others are preferred
  80. HOULENN DU PILET – On a very long losing run and finished 6th in Class H at Le Pertre over 2750m on 13 July. Needs to find a few lengths to win
  81. HERMINE SIMARDIERE – Battling to find best form and was F at Les Sables-d’Olonne over 2775m on 12 July. Needs to find a few lengths to win
  82. HARABICA – Has disqualification issues but was runner-up in Class G at Saint-Malo over 2950m on 8 July. Can go one better this time
  83. IMOUSSE LA RAVELLE – Unreliable and finished 7th in Class H at La Roche-sur-Yon over 2600m on 29 June. Capable of better and has a place chance
  84. GILOU DE FONTAINE – Has already won three times this year, including last time out in Class F at Les Sables-d’Olonne over 2775m on 12 July. Be right there at the finish
  85. HOELA LESMELCHEN – Has struggled of late and finished 8th in Class F over this course and distance on 3 July. Needs major improvement to win
  86. HOLY D’AIMTE – Has some fair form and finished 5th in Class H at Niort over 3575m on 22 June. Might play a minor role
  87. GALET DU LEON – Unreliable but was victorious in Class H at Chinon over 3100m on 6 July. Not easy to trust but might follow up if in the same mood
  88. HACKER DU CHENE – Disqualified in his last three starts, the latest at La Roche-sur-Yon on 29 June. Hard to trust and others make more appeal
    Summary: A very open lucky last race. HARABICA (6) is not easy to trust but could go one better after a good recent run in a higher division. GILOU DE FONTAINE (8) has been in good form this year, winning three times, and would not be a surprise winner. GALET DU LÉON (11) was a convincing winner at Luçon and will have his supporters here. HARCANGE (2) found only one too good on the day at Chinon and is another with a winning chance.
